hard ciders the whole game and was so hammered he

end of the game, I was like just cheering. I
had the whole thing on video. I was just cheering,
and he was like, Rock Party has more playoff appearances
than Trevor Lawrence and at the end of this season
he still will. And I was like, okay, so what
hold this out, loser, And then his friend walked past
us and he goes, I saw you on your phone
before they scored a touchdown. I was like, okay, yeah,

a burn? Like, go drink your cider and go home,
you losers.

and got him kicked out, and as he was getting

our three leg parlays that I didn't actually place because
I was on the forty nine ers and I didn't
want to play both sides, and so unfortunately I didn't

that you lost. I mean, it's really been quite an

covered a spread in a game regular season postseason where
they were favored in a game since twenty twenty one

September of twenty twenty one. That's four full years ago.
Now this no longer applies because the Dolphins have flipped
back to a favorite. They opened as a favorite, then
Tyreek Hill went down and the Panthers were favorite. Now
we're back to the Dolphins's one point favorites in this game. However,
the plight of the Panthers with expectations behind them still applies.
Bryce Young has closed as a three point dog or

shorter four times in his career as a starter, and
Carolina has scored less than twenty points in every single
one of those games, averaging thirteen point three in those situations.
The Dolphins are going to be able to score on
this Panthers defense, and if the Panthers aren't able to
match that, then this is a Dolphins spot. Stucky, We

talked about this on Tuesday Show. It kind of feels
like this is a primed Panthers bounce back. But do
those numbers scare you at all?

I mean, so, if the Fantas close plus one, then
then they're okay. But if they're minus one, they're not.
I like the Panthers here.

The Panthers.

Yeah, they flipped to a favor and then there was
a service release a person who sells place, There was
a couple and then it flipped to Miami. I wouldn't
be shocked if this eventually flips back and the Panthers
closes a favor. These are not These are two teams
that are bad. But I think it's a great spot
for the Panthers. They're coming off of a misleading loss.

Their special teams were disaster New England. Miami short week
no Tyreek Hill. The defense is bad, they're not getting pressure,
The offensive line is atrocious. Now you lose one of
your two best weapons. Like, what does this Miami team
have going for it? They're trying to blitz a ton
on defense to make up for their lack of pressure.
Bryce Young has been really good against the blitz throughout

his short career so yeah. And the Panthers structurally play
a defense that you want to play to slow down
to it. And this Mike with Daniel offense, so Mike
the Donald offense.

So yeah, not scared whatsoever. If anything, they're due. The

I think that's where the value is. It's plus one
hundred Obviously, if you're going for the spread, it's going
to be like the minus one ten area. If you
want the one and a half minus one fifteen, I
almost think it that short of a spread, Like you,
you got to go with.

Yeah, dogs off of a loss of four touchdowns or more.
For what it's worth sixty percent against the spread past
twenty five seasons, and that just goes back to you know,
maybe you're getting a little extra value at times when
these teams who just got blown out. No one wants
to bet them now. You know they're an underdog, although

not a huge underdog here, but just in general, teams
all flowout losses like that, and Miami was dominated by
the Jets. They're probably the most fortunate team of the week,
them and the Bears. I mean like minus fifteen net
success rate. They you know, the Jets had eleven penalties,
they were jobbed by the refs, They had three turnovers

and won by the goal line, out gaining the Dolphins
four hundred to three hundred. So this Miami team is bad.
I have no qualms fading them on the road.

They're also not good on the road. They're zero and
two on the road. Panthers are one I know at home.
Panthers haven't played a ton at home. I think being
in your own bed's gotta be good for something.

Yeah, I think they bounced back.

were I'm not willing to go head to head. I
have them up to seven and a half, so I'm
I'm gonna sit with that number. I have that with
the Texans. I got that when they were at three
and a half. So I feel pretty good about where

think the Eagles obviously, as we know four and oh
have been a lucky four and oh two and oh
at home, Broncos two and two, zero and two away.
Not sure who Bonix is right now. He's had some
really up and down moments through this season. The defense
has been strong, but we've also seen them struggle at times.
Will Philly's luck run out while the Broncos defense come

up with a huge win. This game is a real
question mark for me. Obviously, I love the Eagles at home,
but the Broncos have been feisty. I think they're due
for a big win. This game has me a little confused.

This is a luck game through and through. Read Nick

The luck differential in this game is twenty three. The
Eagles have been the luckiest team in the NFL. The
Broncos have been twenty fourth and so Nick Giffin has
pointed this out as an A grade with a luck

based cover rate of sixty percent. Unlucky teams receiving an
A grade are twenty five to fifteen and two against
the spread. That's nearly sixty three percent, and these luck
rankings hit their optimal efficiency weeks two through Week four.
A little bit of a dip between week five and
week seven, so this is right in the heart of

luck ranking season. It picks back up after Week seven,
and the Broncos are clearly the side here and it
looks like they're taking money as well. This went from
four and a half down to three and a half.
I have a bet on the Broncos. I'm willing to
I'm willing to argue that one in terms of throwing
that into our parlay. We'll get to that portion of

the show on the tail end. Did you end up
up on that side, stucky on the Denver Broncos. Yeah.

I played the Broncos mainly a fade of the Eagles.
The Eagles that they're just not that not the same
team as they were last year. Yet they've been extremely fortunate.
You know, you took the blocked field goal, the block
punt last week. They played a really banged up Tampa team.

This this team is not look good. Their defense has
been around league average. If you look at some of
the advanced stats you can run on them, their thirtieth
and rushed success rate. I think that's what Denver is
gonna lean on here. And the Broncos have the better
defense as well. And this Eagles offensive line is also
way down Lane Johnson dealing with injury. The interior is
not as good. They really missed Mackai Becton. There's also

I think some lingering injuries in the interior. So I
think the Broncos can take advantage there. You can put
certain on aj Brown, not that they're throwing to them anyway.

Yeah, what's the deal with that?

The offensive quarter? I think it's the offensive coordinator drop off.
I think it's massive. I mean it's a team that
had nine yards or like nineteen yards last week in
the second half. They had thirty three yards in the
first half against the Rams. Now you're going up against
one of the best defenses in the country. But in
the NFL, excuse me, Like the offense is Barkley's not
even the same.

That's big bets on campus coming through, by the way,
we see that. Yeah.

Yeah, so I just was I guess I'll plug my
college piece. I just spent all night writing my college

But the Barkley last year, on the second half of games,
he averaged six point seven yards per carry. It's two
point seven this year, four yards per carry less, Like
the run game isn't even bailing them out. They're just

getting by on smoking mirrors. So I do like Denver,
And I mean even Lane Johnson's banged up, so he's
not at one hundred percent full strength, and he's super important.
He might be their most important offensive player. And if
you go back historically, I mean he might be. I
think he's probably the best right tackle in the NFL. Well,
the Eagles are one oh five fifty five and one

with Lane Johnson, it's a sixty seven percent win percentage.
Without them, they're fifteen and twenty three, thirty nine percent
win percentage. So yeah, I think the Broncos can lean
on their ground game, lean on their defense. This will
be a lower scoring game. Points at a premium, so
endything over a field goal.

room strife. So I just don't know what to make
of that. As far as a look at this game,
he hasn't been involved and they've still been winning and
covering the spread. They're three and one. Ats.

Do we think they're going to feed him to make
him happy? Because they did that last year when he started,
you know, popping off on social media, they fed him

but uh neither here nor there. So if I lose

According to Action Network betting data, teams with sixty percent
of the tickets this season ten and twenty four ats
through the first four So I've got some public darlings
out there. It's a long list. If you just want
to fade these teams, chances are you'll end up profitable
this weekend the publics do.

I wouldn't necessarily say that, though, Just keep out of mind,
like they're not gonna they're gonna have They're always remember this,
They're gonna have good weeks. Public bets can win all
the time. Maybe maybe they're they're due for a bounce back,
but what do you got who are.

The big eventually? That is true, but if if, And
that's the weird thing about trends. Sometimes trends die sight unseen,
and sometimes you can catch them on the tail end
before they fizzle out. So, of course, don't just blindly
bet anything, but buyer beware, I think is probably the
best way to put this. On The Ravens plus one

and a half these are all teams that I'm gonna
mention that sixty of the bets or more according to
Actionnetwork dot Com. Ravens plus one and a half, Lion's
minus ten against Cincy, the Bucks plus three against Seattle Giants,
plus two at New Orleans, Colts, minus seven against the Raiders,

Cowboys minus two and a half at the Jets, Cardinals
minus seven and a half against the Titans, and the
Browns are on the borderline. They're fifty nine percent, so
they're kind of scratching the surface there. But that's a
ton of public percentages that are out there, and I
like a couple of these other sides. So I feel
good being on the fade the public side this week

because I've definitely gotten caught up with some popular teams
in the first couple weeks of the season. But it
feels like some of those teams do have alarm bells
on them in terms of the public sentiment, Kendrick, is
there anything that stood out to you there?
Speaker 3 (21:41):
I feel like the only thing that I thought was
maybe the Giants.
Speaker 2 (21:44):
That's about it.
Speaker 3 (21:45):
Everything other than that, I gotta be honest, I don't
love this late this week. I feel like, once again
numbers are just getting too huge. Maybe the Colts, I
would say, the Colts and the Giants stuck out to me,
what about you?

All makes sense? Nothing that I really pay attention to. Like,
I mean, last year, the public had like a massive
year all season long, so that could happen, and it
doesn't really bother bother me one way or the other.
I know people love it and love looking at it.
But the one that I probably agree with them the

most among those is the Browns. I just can't lay
points with this Vikings team. I don't care if it's
a rookie quarterback, like I think it's gonna be an
upgrade because you can Gabriel movie. They're just gonna hand
it off. They're gonna try to run on Minnesota is
their run. He's been bad. I just don't know how
you're gonna block Cleveland. So with Carson Wentz, who's atrocious,

I just holds onto the ball too long. He's gonna
have three backup offensive linemen going up against the Cleveland front.
I don't know how Minnesota moves the ball. The totals
thirty six, and then you're gonna ask Minnesota to win
by margin. So Yeah, I just think they're gonna rely
on Judkins. Here Minnesota's twenty sixth and rush epa twentieth
and rush success rate on defense, It's like they've been
bad against the runn You saw that last week the

why I find myself on Minnesota. That was my plant

a lot in the primer, Where do you land on
the overall value of public sides? And in fading strong

percentages in that regard or is that something that we
as recreational betters tend to overrate.

It's something I look at after coming to a conclusion,
and it's not something I mean. I think it's just
interesting information one way or the other. And I think
a lot of different sources also come up with different percentages.

money comes into the market at different times which impact

game tonight, I mean that's you might see someone say like, hey,

the Rams were minus three and a half, then they

recreational betters will bet the day of and then what
they're laying eight and a half. So if the forty
nine Ers win, I mean, if the Rams win by seven, right,
like they technically didn't cover the clothes, but what percent,
a lot of people well would have cashed their bets

and as you mentioned, like limit sculpturing the week and
there's different inflection points with that data. So yeah, I
think that there's there's definitely an opportunity for media and
the way that's reported to get a little a little
bit more refined in how we report that. So but
definitely interesting to look at.

with the Bills in Buffalo. That game is basically dead

to have a review to take a touchdown off the

Both these teams want to run the ball like that's

us and he goes, I saw you on your phone

covered a spread in a game regular season postseason where
they were favored in a game since twenty twenty one

September of twenty twenty one. That's four full years ago.
Now this no longer applies because the Dolphins have flipped
back to a favorite. They opened as a favorite, then
Tyreek Hill went down and the Panthers were favorite. Now
we're back to the Dolphins's one point favorites in this game. However,
the plight of the Panthers with expectations behind them still applies.
Bryce Young has closed as a three point dog or

shorter four times in his career as a starter, and
Carolina has scored less than twenty points in every single
one of those games, averaging thirteen point three in those situations.
The Dolphins are going to be able to score on
this Panthers defense, and if the Panthers aren't able to
match that, then this is a Dolphins spot. Stucky, We

talked about this on Tuesday Show. It kind of feels
like this is a primed Panthers bounce back. But do
those numbers scare you at all?

I mean, so, if the Fantas close plus one, then
then they're okay. But if they're minus one, they're not.
I like the Panthers here.
Speaker 1 (10:26):
The Panthers.

Yeah, they flipped to a favor and then there was
a service release a person who sells place, There was
a couple and then it flipped to Miami. I wouldn't
be shocked if this eventually flips back and the Panthers
closes a favor. These are not These are two teams
that are bad. But I think it's a great spot
for the Panthers. They're coming off of a misleading loss.

Their special teams were disaster New England. Miami short week
no Tyreek Hill. The defense is bad, they're not getting pressure,
The offensive line is atrocious. Now you lose one of
your two best weapons. Like, what does this Miami team
have going for it? They're trying to blitz a ton
on defense to make up for their lack of pressure.
Bryce Young has been really good against the blitz throughout

his short career so yeah. And the Panthers structurally play
a defense that you want to play to slow down
to it. And this Mike with Daniel offense, so Mike
the Donald offense.

I like the Panthers here. I think they get it done.
So yeah, not scared whatsoever. If anything, they're due. The
baby cats are due.

Think at this point, I'm not even going to go
for the spread. I'm probably gonna go for the money line.
I think that's where the value is. It's plus one
hundred Obviously, if you're going for the spread, it's going
to be like the minus one ten area. If you
want the one and a half minus one fifteen, I
almost think it that short of a spread, Like you,
you got to go with.

Yeah, dogs off of a loss of four touchdowns or more.
For what it's worth sixty percent against the spread past
twenty five seasons, and that just goes back to you know,
maybe you're getting a little extra value at times when
these teams who just got blown out. No one wants
to bet them now. You know they're an underdog, although
(12:24):
not a huge underdog here, but just in general, teams
all flowout losses like that, and Miami was dominated by
the Jets. They're probably the most fortunate team of the week,
them and the Bears. I mean like minus fifteen net
success rate. They you know, the Jets had eleven penalties,
they were jobbed by the refs, They had three turnovers

and won by the goal line, out gaining the Dolphins
four hundred to three hundred. So this Miami team is bad.
I have no qualms fading them on the road.

They're also not good on the road. They're zero and
two on the road. Panthers are one I know at home.
Panthers haven't played a ton at home. I think being
in your own bed's gotta be good for something.

Yeah, I think they bounced back.

I took the Dolphins as a teaser leg when they
were I'm not willing to go head to head. I
have them up to seven and a half, so I'm
I'm gonna sit with that number. I have that with
the Texans. I got that when they were at three
and a half. So I feel pretty good about where

those numbers have disappeared with Lamar being out. Still to

think the Eagles obviously, as we know four and oh
have been a lucky four and oh two and oh
at home, Broncos two and two, zero and two away.
Not sure who Bonix is right now. He's had some
really up and down moments through this season. The defense
has been strong, but we've also seen them struggle at times.
Will Philly's luck run out while the Broncos defense come

up with a huge win. This game is a real
question mark for me. Obviously, I love the Eagles at home,
but the Broncos have been feisty. I think they're due
for a big win. This game has me a little confused.

This is a luck game through and through. Read Nick
Giffen's article at actionnetwork dot com if you haven't already.
The luck differential in this game is twenty three. The
Eagles have been the luckiest team in the NFL. The
Broncos have been twenty fourth and so Nick Giffin has
pointed this out as an A grade with a luck
(15:12):
based cover rate of sixty percent. Unlucky teams receiving an
A grade are twenty five to fifteen and two against
the spread. That's nearly sixty three percent, and these luck
rankings hit their optimal efficiency weeks two through Week four.
A little bit of a dip between week five and
week seven, so this is right in the heart of
(15:34):
luck ranking season. It picks back up after Week seven,
and the Broncos are clearly the side here and it
looks like they're taking money as well. This went from
four and a half down to three and a half.
I have a bet on the Broncos. I'm willing to
I'm willing to argue that one in terms of throwing
that into our parlay. We'll get to that portion of

the show on the tail end. Did you end up
up on that side, stucky on the Denver Broncos. Yeah.

I played the Broncos mainly a fade of the Eagles.
The Eagles that they're just not that not the same
team as they were last year. Yet they've been extremely fortunate.
You know, you took the blocked field goal, the block
punt last week. They played a really banged up Tampa team.

This this team is not look good. Their defense has
been around league average. If you look at some of
the advanced stats you can run on them, their thirtieth
and rushed success rate. I think that's what Denver is
gonna lean on here. And the Broncos have the better
defense as well. And this Eagles offensive line is also
way down Lane Johnson dealing with injury. The interior is
not as good. They really missed Mackai Becton. There's also

I think some lingering injuries in the interior. So I
think the Broncos can take advantage there. You can put
certain on aj Brown, not that they're throwing to them anyway.

Yeah, what's the deal with that?

The offensive quarter? I think it's the offensive coordinator drop off.
I think it's massive. I mean it's a team that
had nine yards or like nineteen yards last week in
the second half. They had thirty three yards in the
first half against the Rams. Now you're going up against
one of the best defenses in the country. But in
the NFL, excuse me, Like the offense is Barkley's not
even the same.

That's big bets on campus coming through, by the way,
we see that. Yeah.

Yeah, so I just was I guess I'll plug my
college piece. I just spent all night writing my college

But the Barkley last year, on the second half of games,
he averaged six point seven yards per carry. It's two
point seven this year, four yards per carry less, Like
the run game isn't even bailing them out. They're just

getting by on smoking mirrors. So I do like Denver,
And I mean even Lane Johnson's banged up, so he's
not at one hundred percent full strength, and he's super important.
He might be their most important offensive player. And if
you go back historically, I mean he might be. I
think he's probably the best right tackle in the NFL. Well,
the Eagles are one oh five fifty five and one

with Lane Johnson, it's a sixty seven percent win percentage.
Without them, they're fifteen and twenty three, thirty nine percent
win percentage. So yeah, I think the Broncos can lean
on their ground game, lean on their defense. This will
be a lower scoring game. Points at a premium, so
endything over a field goal.

through the first four So I've got some public darlings
out there. It's a long list. If you just want
to fade these teams, chances are you'll end up profitable
this weekend the publics do.

like they're not gonna they're gonna have They're always remember this,
They're gonna have good weeks. Public bets can win all
the time. Maybe maybe they're they're due for a bounce back,

that's the weird thing about trends. Sometimes trends die sight unseen,
and sometimes you can catch them on the tail end
before they fizzle out. So, of course, don't just blindly

good being on the fade the public side this week

in the first couple weeks of the season. But it
feels like some of those teams do have alarm bells
on them in terms of the public sentiment, Kendrick, is

points with this Vikings team. I don't care if it's
a rookie quarterback, like I think it's gonna be an

it off. They're gonna try to run on Minnesota is
their run. He's been bad. I just don't know how
you're gonna block Cleveland. So with Carson Wentz, who's atrocious,

I just holds onto the ball too long. He's gonna
have three backup offensive linemen going up against the Cleveland front.
I don't know how Minnesota moves the ball. The totals
thirty six, and then you're gonna ask Minnesota to win

and rush success rate on defense, It's like they've been

the overall value of public sides? And in fading strong

as recreational betters tend to overrate.

delta between like the start of the weekend, and like,

do think, as Stucky knows and everyone knows, like certain
money comes into the market at different times which impact
those betting percentages. So something that's like fifty nine percent

now could be drastically different. So that's probably the way
I would prefer to look at it if I could.

I think, Yeah, for example, the forty nine Ers Rams
game tonight, I mean that's you might see someone say like, hey,
seventy eight percent of the bets are on the Rams. Well,
the Rams were minus three and a half, then they
were minus five and a half, they were minus six
out there, minus eight and a half. A lot of

recreational betters will bet the day of and then what
they're laying eight and a half. So if the forty
nine Ers win, I mean, if the Rams win by seven, right,
like they technically didn't cover the clothes, but what percent,
a lot of people well would have cashed their bets
because there's just a line at different points. And yeah,

and as you mentioned, like limit sculpturing the week and
there's different inflection points with that data. So yeah, I
think that there's there's definitely an opportunity for media and
the way that's reported to get a little a little
bit more refined in how we report that. So but
definitely interesting to look at.

better when I don't see that those percentages are skewed

Like they caught the charters off guard last week, and look,
if you go back and watch that game, the Giants
were dominated. They got two picks that basically turned into
touchdowns because their defensive line dominated the game. Saints are
haven't won a game yet, looking for their first win
at home. They went to Totoe with the forty nine ers,
to Totoe with the Cardinals. They played. They went to Totoe

with the Bills in Buffalo. That game is basically dead
even throughout like everyone, I thought that the Saints had
to have a review to take a touchdown off the
board that would have given them the lead with six
to go in the game. So they were right there.
Their defense is twentyeighth and success rate Giants is twenty ninth.
The biggest tee here though, and you look, you might

have Taysom Hill contributing in some way. The rush defenses.
Both these teams want to run the ball like that's
all the Giants can do. They're they're just gonna try
to run dark give it to Scataboo. The Saints are
sixteenth in rush EPA eleventh and success rate on defense
against the run. The Giants are thirty second in both.

think that there's a lot going for the Jets here,

The Eagles are the new Chiefs. I'm sure they'll find
a way to win by three. My vote is for
the Jets and to go Jets money line. To make
it Chargers Panthers, Jets.

mix and then half of them during the game, like
any offense is going to look that explosive and competent.

It's the fact that it's in Buffalo. I get that
they didn't look good against the Saints and they haven't
been the Bills team that we thought they would be
this season. But this Patriots team I just think is
due for a fallback to reality.

I was the Panthers, they beat the bag out of them.
The offense seemed to come together. Drake May maybe had
his coming out moment last week, but I just the
way that this Patriots team has been all year. I
think that they are due to a bump back to reality.
Divisional game, prime time in Orchard Park. It's the last
time the Patriots are going to play them in Orchard Park.
Speaker 2 (45:13):
I think they're going to be the bag out of them.
Speaker 4 (45:16):
Yeah, I think the lines just probably about right. To
be honest, there's some injuries worth monitoring with the Bills,
like are they gonna get Milano and at Oliver back
Spencer Brown? The right tack we want to play it
is not. I don't think it's a great matchup for
the Patriots because the Bills are still getting a pressure
at an elite rate. The Patriots are giving up pressure,
(45:37):
which means there's probably going to be some drives that
are killed by sacks. And look, May's playing really well,
especially on late downs, although I'm not sure he can
sustain this high a level, especially against the defense. It's
going to get pressure, but he has no help from
the run game. I think that's huge.
Speaker 2 (45:55):
Because I was just going to add something this week.
Speaker 3 (45:58):
They said this morning that Travion Henderson is expected to
get the majority of the touches over Stevenson this week.
Speaker 1 (46:06):
I'm just gonna go's.

Their run game has been so bad, mainly because the
offensive line and like that's how you want to attack
this Bills team. And I haven't seen enough on the
Patriots to have confidence in their run game. Like the
Saints run game has been decent, which is why I
thought they could move the ball in Buffalo. I haven't
seen that from the Patriots. It means you're gonna be
third and longs and then there's gonna be pressure, and
(46:29):
then May's probably going to take too many stacks. And
on the other side of the ball, the Patriots of linebackers,
their safeties aren't great, and coverage their linebackers the worst
in the league. I didn't coverage like Splaine and now
like it's bad. That's bad news against Allen, who is
can probably just carve them up in the middle of
the field. So I don't know if it's so. I

think it's like between seven and ten. It feels probably
about right. But I'm monitoring their injury report, so I
don't have anything for you there. Unfortunately, do you have
anything to add Evan on that game.

So maybe you're worried if you're in Buffalo for this one,

I think the eight and a half is actually kind
of right on target. I think both teams, like Buffalo
has been lucky in New England's playing much better than expected.
I think it just they meet this week in a
game that's kind of god. I think it's a prop
game more or less.

Yeah, Henderson anytime touchdown Drake may has been awesome. When
he hasn't been Remy Henderson, Yeah, he's also played the Dolphins.

My thing with Henry though, is that like because of
the offensive line, the reason he hasn't been as active
is because he's been.
