Speaker 1 (00:09):
Welcome to the Favorites, presented by DraftKings. The crown is yours.
I'm Brandon Kravitz, joined by my fellow d Jens, the
returning Kendrim Middleton, and the Prime Minister of Degenerate Nation.
Stuckey is with us as well for his premium picks.
On today's show, we will submit our official plays for
Week five in the NFL. We've got our stat of
(00:32):
the week, a newly named parlay, some public darlings that
you need to be aware of, like and subscribe wherever
it is that you are tuned in. The shirt bet
has been officially paid off. I don't know if you
can see this, guys, I'm gonna tilt the camera down here.
It is everybody. I'll stand up for this. It says
the cutest pumpkin in the patch.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
That's incredible.
Speaker 3 (00:55):
I hope you wear that in public today.
Speaker 1 (00:57):
I think a pub like flogging on the podcast is
probably enough.
Speaker 2 (01:03):
But I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:05):
Thursday nights ago when the Dolphins covered the spread against
the Bills. So there you go, Stucky, is this you
picked out?
Speaker 4 (01:14):
Yeah, that's fine. Then you have to bet the Falcons
money line against the Bills. And we have to come
up with a had to head bet for Brown's Vikings.
Since you like Minnesota and Cleveland.
Speaker 3 (01:28):
I have a secret. I have a tie break for this.
What's that I'm on the Vikings?
Speaker 4 (01:34):
Perfect?
Speaker 2 (01:37):
We should have to make Stucky a poem?
Speaker 1 (01:39):
Are we both? It should? We should have to say
it with a British accent. Since the games in London.
Speaker 4 (01:47):
Trying to come up with something that's Cleveland related.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
What's Minnesota famous for? I don't even know schools.
Speaker 4 (01:55):
They're mall.
Speaker 1 (01:57):
They do have a killer mall.
Speaker 3 (01:59):
Yeah, I'm all the that'm all is a good one.
Like famous food, these.
Speaker 4 (02:05):
Two famous burger places.
Speaker 2 (02:08):
I'm gonna say Skyline Chili is not Minnesota.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
A producer says that it's in London. We should eat
beans and toast on the pod. Is that something you
do over there that?
Speaker 3 (02:16):
Yeah, they do, yes, and it's discussed, but it's it's
like a very specific type of beans that they don't
sell here.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
You have to do like the Bush's baked beans thing.
Speaker 3 (02:23):
Here, but like there's coming like a blue cane and
I think they're hinds.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
Yeah, I'd be down to do that. Yeah, hell yeah,
why not?
Speaker 1 (02:30):
All right? That sounds easier than writing a pubble.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
I might gag, but I'm down.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
Uh all right, So we got that settled. I'm glad
that you're on my side. I am due for a
win in these head to head bets because Stuckey has
been has been running the show so far when it
comes to that. And here I am cute at pumpkin
in the patch today, Kendra. How's the trip to the
West Coast?
Speaker 3 (02:53):
It was so good only because they won, Like, I
had a great time. I ate a lot of good food.
But if they lost and I went all that, I
would have been really upset. But congrats on congrats on
the parlay. I listened to the show. It would hit
last week, of course it yeah, it's true.
Speaker 2 (03:10):
Yeah, but no, the game was really good.
Speaker 3 (03:12):
I feel better about the Jaguars than I did Rock
Perty shouldn't have played that game.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
Their fans are still mean as hell, but it was good.
Speaker 1 (03:19):
What was your favorite interaction with a forty nine Ers fan?
Speaker 2 (03:22):
So I posted it on Twitter.
Speaker 3 (03:23):
I was talking about this before we got on, but
I posted a video. I covered his face because I'm
nice and I don't want to ruin anybody's life. But
there was this kid sitting in front of us, who
refused to believe that I knew anything about football at all,
was trying to mansplain the game to me, was asking
me to name players. Just an absolute loser was drinking
hard ciders the whole game and was so hammered he
(03:44):
could like barely walk down the row. And at the
end of the game, I was like just cheering. I
had the whole thing on video. I was just cheering,
and he was like, Rock Party has more playoff appearances
than Trevor Lawrence and at the end of this season
he still will. And I was like, okay, so what
hold this out, loser, And then his friend walked past
us and he goes, I saw you on your phone
before they scored a touchdown. I was like, okay, yeah,
(04:06):
I'm live tweeting the game. Is that supposed to be
a burn? Like, go drink your cider and go home,
you losers.
Speaker 1 (04:12):
Unbelievable. This is why people are getting in fights at
San Francisco, this sort of behavior.
Speaker 3 (04:17):
There was a huge fight behind us between like three
it was like three forty nine Ers fans and one
Jag fan. And he was just cheering because obviously it
was a good game. I think he said something that
he probably should love, and this one Karen called security
and got him kicked out, and as he was getting
kicked out, he's trying to fight with three other guys.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
It was pretty it was pretty awesome.
Speaker 1 (04:36):
Wow, well, glad that you got the win. I admitted
this on the Tuesday episode. This is the first of
our three leg parlays that I didn't actually place because
I was on the forty nine ers and I didn't
want to play both sides, and so unfortunately I didn't
profit off of it. But hopefully all of you did
that you lost. I mean, it's really been quite an
(04:57):
epic run of defeats and it's early in season. You know,
I'll take my lumps now, let you guys have your fun,
and then when it really matters, I'll pick it back up.
Speaker 4 (05:06):
But you're the gauge for me. I know that. Like, Okay,
if you if you like, if you like this other
side I hate, if you like the same side, I
better look into it.
Speaker 1 (05:14):
That was means, that was that was That was probably
the most hurtful thing that you've ever said to me
in our short time.
Speaker 4 (05:21):
I'm just being truthful. By the way you mentioned food
and Minnesota is that they're they're known for that. They
have a couple places. They're known for their juicy bluesy.
It's like a Burger and Cleveland. I would say, like corn.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
Beef sandwiches, Skyline Chili.
Speaker 4 (05:36):
That's Sincy Cincinnati, which it's just.
Speaker 2 (05:39):
It's like chocolate chili, right.
Speaker 4 (05:41):
Yeah, it's I'm a time purists. I can't like chili
on spaghetti is sacrilegious. But speaking of food, my question
of the week is if you could only you were
forced to eat only one thing for the rest of
your life, and you could, you would You would never
get sick of it. It gave you all the new
you were like, it was completely healthy. No matter what
(06:03):
you chose, what would you pick?
Speaker 2 (06:05):
Hey, this is a dumb question.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
Let me ask you a personal question kind.
Speaker 4 (06:11):
Of question is that it is question what would be
your meal that you ate for the rest of your life.
It could be like one specific thing from a restaurant.
It could be a specific meal one thing.
Speaker 2 (06:24):
Am I gonna get fat?
Speaker 1 (06:26):
No?
Speaker 4 (06:26):
You don't, you don't. It doesn't impact your health. My
choice is really easy. It's it's either my mom cooking
it or my wife. They both make it like perfect
it's a homemade eggplant parm like homemade noodles all from scratch,
egg by palm and then homemade noodles on top. I
(06:48):
could eat it for the rest of my life growing up.
On Sundays when I was in high school, when I
I would just sit, usually hungover, watching NFL a day,
my mom would make me a giant tray of akept
farm like a big casserole dish, and I would just
(07:12):
eat almost the entire thing and just heat it up
throughout the day and night until uh Sunday night football
is over. And then my wife learned how to cook
it a little little spin on it, but just as good.
So that is. That is my easy, easy choice choice one.
Speaker 1 (07:29):
A yeah, I'm not too far off of that. Mine
is lavagna and I'll take it from any direction. Mom, wife,
Uh for Zoli's Maggiano's. I don't everybody gross everybody.
Speaker 3 (07:45):
I'm gonna say a special from waffle House. I want
scrambled eggs. I want a chocolate chip waffle. I want
truck or Coffee because their coffee is truck or Coffee.
I want extra crispy hash browns. I want a cid
of grits and a biscuit, not toast breakfast all day.
Speaker 4 (08:05):
You guys are going Fizzoli's and waffle House for the
choice of what you would eat the rest of.
Speaker 1 (08:09):
Your I'm just saying that if they if that was
the only option for the lasagna, I would accept.
Speaker 3 (08:16):
If I'm not going to get fat, Yeah, I'm gonna
eat waffle House every single day.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
Oh and bacon, duh.
Speaker 4 (08:23):
I feel it happen. What do you got? You do
have something in New York, a certain meal or something
from your your.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
Family, or about waffle House, I wouldn't.
Speaker 5 (08:32):
Say it's New York specific. I had three things in mind.
Speaker 6 (08:34):
I love sushi, I was thinking about lobster, and I
like sausage and peppers. Those felt like the three things
I could potentially eat for every meal and not care.
Speaker 1 (08:42):
See, I think I like where Evan's head is at.
Is that I Part of the reason I like lasagna
is it's cost effective too. But in this scenario, I
don't think we need to think we don't need the
factor in pricing.
Speaker 6 (08:53):
No, perhaps God, now, yeah, that's the last price didn't
even cross my mind.
Speaker 1 (08:59):
So that's.
Speaker 2 (09:01):
I'm stucky, not a wlawful house.
Speaker 1 (09:04):
Perfect transition with seafood into our shrimply unbelievable stat of
the week courtesy of that man right there who loves
him some lobster is Evan Abrams, with some help from
our Rainbow Shrimp as well. The Panthers haven't won or
covered a spread in a game regular season postseason where
they were favored in a game since twenty twenty one
(09:25):
September of twenty twenty one. That's four full years ago.
Now this no longer applies because the Dolphins have flipped
back to a favorite. They opened as a favorite, then
Tyreek Hill went down and the Panthers were favorite. Now
we're back to the Dolphins's one point favorites in this game. However,
the plight of the Panthers with expectations behind them still applies.
Bryce Young has closed as a three point dog or
(09:48):
shorter four times in his career as a starter, and
Carolina has scored less than twenty points in every single
one of those games, averaging thirteen point three in those situations.
The Dolphins are going to be able to score on
this Panthers defense, and if the Panthers aren't able to
match that, then this is a Dolphins spot. Stucky, We
(10:08):
talked about this on Tuesday Show. It kind of feels
like this is a primed Panthers bounce back. But do
those numbers scare you at all?
Speaker 5 (10:18):
No?
Speaker 4 (10:18):
I mean, so, if the Fantas close plus one, then
then they're okay. But if they're minus one, they're not.
I like the Panthers here.
Speaker 1 (10:26):
The Panthers.
Speaker 4 (10:27):
Yeah, they flipped to a favor and then there was
a service release a person who sells place, There was
a couple and then it flipped to Miami. I wouldn't
be shocked if this eventually flips back and the Panthers
closes a favor. These are not These are two teams
that are bad. But I think it's a great spot
for the Panthers. They're coming off of a misleading loss.
(10:47):
Their special teams were disaster New England. Miami short week
no Tyreek Hill. The defense is bad, they're not getting pressure,
The offensive line is atrocious. Now you lose one of
your two best weapons. Like, what does this Miami team
have going for it? They're trying to blitz a ton
on defense to make up for their lack of pressure.
Bryce Young has been really good against the blitz throughout
(11:09):
his short career so yeah. And the Panthers structurally play
a defense that you want to play to slow down
to it. And this Mike with Daniel offense, so Mike
the Donald offense.
Speaker 3 (11:22):
So I.
Speaker 4 (11:25):
I like the Panthers here. I think they get it done.
So yeah, not scared whatsoever. If anything, they're due. The
baby cats are due.
Speaker 2 (11:34):
Yeah, I do care what cats?
Speaker 1 (11:37):
Are? You back on the sad Cats, Kendra, I'm so close.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
To being in on the sad Cats. My thing is
is that I.
Speaker 3 (11:43):
Think at this point, I'm not even going to go
for the spread. I'm probably gonna go for the money line.
I think that's where the value is. It's plus one
hundred Obviously, if you're going for the spread, it's going
to be like the minus one ten area. If you
want the one and a half minus one fifteen, I
almost think it that short of a spread, Like you,
you got to go with.
Speaker 2 (11:58):
The money line. That's where the value is.
Speaker 4 (12:00):
Yeah, dogs off of a loss of four touchdowns or more.
For what it's worth sixty percent against the spread past
twenty five seasons, and that just goes back to you know,
maybe you're getting a little extra value at times when
these teams who just got blown out. No one wants
to bet them now. You know they're an underdog, although
(12:24):
not a huge underdog here, but just in general, teams
all flowout losses like that, and Miami was dominated by
the Jets. They're probably the most fortunate team of the week,
them and the Bears. I mean like minus fifteen net
success rate. They you know, the Jets had eleven penalties,
they were jobbed by the refs, They had three turnovers
(12:46):
and won by the goal line, out gaining the Dolphins
four hundred to three hundred. So this Miami team is bad.
I have no qualms fading them on the road.
Speaker 3 (12:56):
They're also not good on the road. They're zero and
two on the road. Panthers are one I know at home.
Panthers haven't played a ton at home. I think being
in your own bed's gotta be good for something.
Speaker 4 (13:05):
Yeah, I think they bounced back.
Speaker 1 (13:07):
I took the Dolphins as a teaser leg when they
were I'm not willing to go head to head. I
have them up to seven and a half, so I'm
I'm gonna sit with that number. I have that with
the Texans. I got that when they were at three
and a half. So I feel pretty good about where
I'm at with that. That one's in the app, but
those numbers have disappeared with Lamar being out. Still to
(13:30):
come our newly named parlay a week off of our
first dub as a trio. Great week on the Favorites
in week four, We're about to get to our picks,
but first I'm gonna kick it to myself to talk
about DraftKings. The Favorites is sponsored by DraftKings and in
partnership with DraftKings, we'd like to tell you the next
great touchdown is coming and you can bet on it
right now. New customers bet five dollars and get two
(13:51):
hundred dollars in bonus bets. That's right, New customers, turn
five bucks into two hundred if your bet wins paid
instantly in bonus bets. To get started, use the promo
code Favorites when signing up once more, that's code Favorites
at DraftKings when signing up to get on board, the
crown is yours. So, Kendra, what game has you in
(14:13):
a pickle? As we enter week five?
Speaker 3 (14:16):
I gotta go with the Broncos and the Eagles. I
think the Eagles obviously, as we know four and oh
have been a lucky four and oh two and oh
at home, Broncos two and two, zero and two away.
Not sure who Bonix is right now. He's had some
really up and down moments through this season. The defense
has been strong, but we've also seen them struggle at times.
Will Philly's luck run out while the Broncos defense come
(14:39):
up with a huge win. This game is a real
question mark for me. Obviously, I love the Eagles at home,
but the Broncos have been feisty. I think they're due
for a big win. This game has me a little confused.
Speaker 1 (14:51):
This is a luck game through and through. Read Nick
Giffen's article at actionnetwork dot com if you haven't already.
The luck differential in this game is twenty three. The
Eagles have been the luckiest team in the NFL. The
Broncos have been twenty fourth and so Nick Giffin has
pointed this out as an A grade with a luck
(15:12):
based cover rate of sixty percent. Unlucky teams receiving an
A grade are twenty five to fifteen and two against
the spread. That's nearly sixty three percent, and these luck
rankings hit their optimal efficiency weeks two through Week four.
A little bit of a dip between week five and
week seven, so this is right in the heart of
(15:34):
luck ranking season. It picks back up after Week seven,
and the Broncos are clearly the side here and it
looks like they're taking money as well. This went from
four and a half down to three and a half.
I have a bet on the Broncos. I'm willing to
I'm willing to argue that one in terms of throwing
that into our parlay. We'll get to that portion of
(15:57):
the show on the tail end. Did you end up
up on that side, stucky on the Denver Broncos. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (16:04):
I played the Broncos mainly a fade of the Eagles.
The Eagles that they're just not that not the same
team as they were last year. Yet they've been extremely fortunate.
You know, you took the blocked field goal, the block
punt last week. They played a really banged up Tampa team.
Speaker 3 (16:20):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (16:21):
This this team is not look good. Their defense has
been around league average. If you look at some of
the advanced stats you can run on them, their thirtieth
and rushed success rate. I think that's what Denver is
gonna lean on here. And the Broncos have the better
defense as well. And this Eagles offensive line is also
way down Lane Johnson dealing with injury. The interior is
not as good. They really missed Mackai Becton. There's also
(16:42):
I think some lingering injuries in the interior. So I
think the Broncos can take advantage there. You can put
certain on aj Brown, not that they're throwing to them anyway.
Speaker 2 (16:52):
Yeah, what's the deal with that?
Speaker 4 (16:55):
The offensive quarter? I think it's the offensive coordinator drop off.
I think it's massive. I mean it's a team that
had nine yards or like nineteen yards last week in
the second half. They had thirty three yards in the
first half against the Rams. Now you're going up against
one of the best defenses in the country. But in
the NFL, excuse me, Like the offense is Barkley's not
even the same.
Speaker 1 (17:15):
That's big bets on campus coming through, by the way,
we see that. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (17:18):
Yeah, so I just was I guess I'll plug my
college piece. I just spent all night writing my college
stuff up. So check out Action neverorkap actually dot com.
But the Barkley last year, on the second half of games,
he averaged six point seven yards per carry. It's two
point seven this year, four yards per carry less, Like
the run game isn't even bailing them out. They're just
(17:40):
getting by on smoking mirrors. So I do like Denver,
And I mean even Lane Johnson's banged up, so he's
not at one hundred percent full strength, and he's super important.
He might be their most important offensive player. And if
you go back historically, I mean he might be. I
think he's probably the best right tackle in the NFL. Well,
the Eagles are one oh five fifty five and one
(18:02):
with Lane Johnson, it's a sixty seven percent win percentage.
Without them, they're fifteen and twenty three, thirty nine percent
win percentage. So yeah, I think the Broncos can lean
on their ground game, lean on their defense. This will
be a lower scoring game. Points at a premium, so
endything over a field goal.
Speaker 2 (18:19):
I like, Denver, you guys are scaring me. Fading the
Eagles at home.
Speaker 1 (18:24):
This feels like the bro Hug game of the week.
Come on, you.
Speaker 2 (18:27):
Guys, you guys are scaring me. Like, I get it.
Speaker 3 (18:31):
AJ Brown is posting Bible verses on Twitter, like, clearly
shit is like not one hundred percent, but fading Eagles
out on this scared.
Speaker 1 (18:39):
Here's the thing that has not looked good the Brown
stuff is that they've had these issues before and it
didn't stop them. They won a Super Bowl with locker
room strife. So I just don't know what to make
of that. As far as a look at this game,
he hasn't been involved and they've still been winning and
covering the spread. They're three and one. Ats.
Speaker 3 (19:00):
I'm just gonna say, is it a AJ Brown anytime week?
Do we think they're going to feed him to make
him happy? Because they did that last year when he started,
you know, popping off on social media, they fed him
to keep him happy.
Speaker 2 (19:10):
Is this is this?
Speaker 1 (19:11):
Is this a look just doesn't feel like the matchup
for it.
Speaker 4 (19:14):
Yeah, I'm as certain. And by the way, yeah, the
Eagles are three and one against the spread. They needed
They were down twenty at home to the Rams and
needed a block'll.
Speaker 1 (19:24):
This is why this is why this has an a
grade on it in the luck rankings. Yeah, they didn't cover.
Speaker 4 (19:30):
Against the Cowboys, so they should be zero and two
against the spread at home. So uh yeah, if they
cover again on a block field goal return that they
should just go down on like the game is over.
The only way you lose is if you return that
but uh neither here nor there. So if I lose
on a block field again, sobey it. But uh yeah,
(19:50):
I like your Gronko's.
Speaker 1 (19:52):
According to Action Network betting data, teams with sixty percent
of the tickets this season ten and twenty four ats
through the first four So I've got some public darlings
out there. It's a long list. If you just want
to fade these teams, chances are you'll end up profitable
this weekend the publics do.
Speaker 4 (20:13):
I wouldn't necessarily say that, though, Just keep out of mind,
like they're not gonna they're gonna have They're always remember this,
They're gonna have good weeks. Public bets can win all
the time. Maybe maybe they're they're due for a bounce back,
but what do you got who are.
Speaker 1 (20:25):
The big eventually? That is true, but if if, And
that's the weird thing about trends. Sometimes trends die sight unseen,
and sometimes you can catch them on the tail end
before they fizzle out. So, of course, don't just blindly
bet anything, but buyer beware, I think is probably the
best way to put this. On The Ravens plus one
(20:46):
and a half these are all teams that I'm gonna
mention that sixty of the bets or more according to
Actionnetwork dot Com. Ravens plus one and a half, Lion's
minus ten against Cincy, the Bucks plus three against Seattle Giants,
plus two at New Orleans, Colts, minus seven against the Raiders,
(21:07):
Cowboys minus two and a half at the Jets, Cardinals
minus seven and a half against the Titans, and the
Browns are on the borderline. They're fifty nine percent, so
they're kind of scratching the surface there. But that's a
ton of public percentages that are out there, and I
like a couple of these other sides. So I feel
good being on the fade the public side this week
(21:28):
because I've definitely gotten caught up with some popular teams
in the first couple weeks of the season. But it
feels like some of those teams do have alarm bells
on them in terms of the public sentiment, Kendrick, is
there anything that stood out to you there?
Speaker 3 (21:41):
I feel like the only thing that I thought was
maybe the Giants.
Speaker 2 (21:44):
That's about it.
Speaker 3 (21:45):
Everything other than that, I gotta be honest, I don't
love this late this week. I feel like, once again
numbers are just getting too huge. Maybe the Colts, I
would say, the Colts and the Giants stuck out to me,
what about you?
Speaker 1 (21:57):
Stuck?
Speaker 4 (21:58):
All makes sense? Nothing that I really pay attention to. Like,
I mean, last year, the public had like a massive
year all season long, so that could happen, and it
doesn't really bother bother me one way or the other.
I know people love it and love looking at it.
But the one that I probably agree with them the
(22:20):
most among those is the Browns. I just can't lay
points with this Vikings team. I don't care if it's
a rookie quarterback, like I think it's gonna be an
upgrade because you can Gabriel movie. They're just gonna hand
it off. They're gonna try to run on Minnesota is
their run. He's been bad. I just don't know how
you're gonna block Cleveland. So with Carson Wentz, who's atrocious,
(22:40):
I just holds onto the ball too long. He's gonna
have three backup offensive linemen going up against the Cleveland front.
I don't know how Minnesota moves the ball. The totals
thirty six, and then you're gonna ask Minnesota to win
by margin. So Yeah, I just think they're gonna rely
on Judkins. Here Minnesota's twenty sixth and rush epa twentieth
and rush success rate on defense, It's like they've been
bad against the runn You saw that last week the
(23:02):
Steelers who couldn't they'd have a run game all.
Speaker 3 (23:04):
Year and had such bet regret. I wanted to bet
the Steelers so bad. I said this on here. I
was almost behind the Steelers and I had such bad
bet regret.
Speaker 4 (23:14):
Yeah, I mean Kenneth Gainwell looked great. He was running
all over them. So uh, that's probably the one I
agree with the most.
Speaker 3 (23:20):
My thing is is that the Vikings have just been
over in that time zone all week, and once again,
I'm going to live and die by that sword.
Speaker 2 (23:27):
So that's where I'm at with that.
Speaker 1 (23:29):
It's not a big sample size, but it's a small,
profitable sample size, and it is part of the reason
why I find myself on Minnesota. That was my plant
the flag game on Tuesday's episode, Evan, where do you
end up bringing Evan Abrams? Because you write about this
a lot in the primer, Where do you land on
the overall value of public sides? And in fading strong
(23:54):
percentages in that regard or is that something that we
as recreational betters tend to overrate.
Speaker 6 (24:01):
It's something I look at after coming to a conclusion,
and it's not something I mean. I think it's just
interesting information one way or the other. And I think
a lot of different sources also come up with different percentages.
Speaker 5 (24:11):
I think, And here's the one thing.
Speaker 6 (24:13):
I would want at a betting percentages that I feel
like even Action Network would probably try to do to
make it a little bit more accurate, is I'd like
to see betting percentages.
Speaker 5 (24:22):
Around the timeline of the.
Speaker 6 (24:23):
Line because, like I'm really really curious about, you know,
the ravens, Like how much of that money came in early,
how much of that money since Russia has been named
the starter? Like I think certain things like that bring
more to the table and give a little bit more
information to the situation. But nonetheless, it's eye candy, it's
fun to talk about, and the numbers as a whole
is an interesting microcosm of the season.
Speaker 1 (24:45):
Would you also say that it's the most valuable right
before kickoff and anything prior to that, it can be
noisy in terms of the numbers.
Speaker 6 (24:53):
I would say, yeah, But I would also say the
delta between like the start of the weekend, and like,
I think looking at it in if you could do
it in like spans, would be more interesting because I
do think, as Stucky knows and everyone knows, like certain
money comes into the market at different times which impact
those betting percentages. So something that's like fifty nine percent
(25:16):
now could be drastically different. So that's probably the way
I would prefer to look at it if I could.
Speaker 4 (25:21):
I think, Yeah, for example, the forty nine Ers Rams
game tonight, I mean that's you might see someone say like, hey,
seventy eight percent of the bets are on the Rams. Well,
the Rams were minus three and a half, then they
were minus five and a half, they were minus six
out there, minus eight and a half. A lot of
(25:41):
recreational betters will bet the day of and then what
they're laying eight and a half. So if the forty
nine Ers win, I mean, if the Rams win by seven, right,
like they technically didn't cover the clothes, but what percent,
a lot of people well would have cashed their bets
because there's just a line at different points. And yeah,
(26:03):
and as you mentioned, like limit sculpturing the week and
there's different inflection points with that data. So yeah, I
think that there's there's definitely an opportunity for media and
the way that's reported to get a little a little
bit more refined in how we report that. So but
definitely interesting to look at.
Speaker 1 (26:21):
Yeah, I think it's it's just another it's another data point.
It is not a reason to place a bet on
either side. But I will say I tend to feel
better when I don't see that those percentages are skewed
in terms of the overall bet percentage, and I happen
to be on the other side, And this does feel
like it's one of those weeks. It's time now for
the artist. Formerly known as the Three Musketeers, Parlay took
(26:45):
a couple of l's to start the season, and then
what you know, we renamed it and we cashed with
a dub last week the Parlay hit. We went six
and two overall with our best bets on the podcast
throughout the week. Make sure you're following the favorites on
the Action Network app forty five percent ROI last week
(27:05):
absolutely killer. A round of applause for everybody here, But
we can't celebrate too long because we have to hand
out more winners. It's just about what have you done
for me lately? So we've got more to hand out here.
This is where we're going to nominate two plays each
see if we can come to a general consensus. Kendrick,
you put out the social media video asking the audience
what we should rename this parlay too. I haven't even
(27:28):
gotten a note about what that is, so inform me
what are we calling this?
Speaker 2 (27:33):
I think that this is a Gifford question.
Speaker 1 (27:35):
Right, do we have kings and a queen? Right?
Speaker 4 (27:40):
Is not the best? Is not the best one we've gotten.
Speaker 3 (27:42):
I think that that's probably the best bet, But I
don't know. It's definitely a Gifferd question.
Speaker 4 (27:47):
If you're asked me, that's my vote. Okay, So tennecos
a DraftKings, I think it makes no sense.
Speaker 1 (27:54):
Yeah, I'm in it now.
Speaker 4 (27:55):
You need to hit it this weekend.
Speaker 1 (27:57):
Okay, the crown is yours, Kendra, go ahead.
Speaker 3 (28:02):
So I am between going with the Titans or the Chargers.
The Titans have been frisky, man. I loved Cam.
Speaker 2 (28:10):
Woard saying yeah, like, I think that they've played better
than they've looked. That's what I'll say.
Speaker 1 (28:16):
Yes, scored zero points last week.
Speaker 3 (28:18):
I know, and but they hung in that game for
the first quarter.
Speaker 2 (28:21):
Don't don't come in me.
Speaker 3 (28:22):
I watched this game in the stadium on my phone.
Speaker 2 (28:24):
They hung in there for that first quarter.
Speaker 3 (28:26):
Okay, I think that they've looked better than the scorer
has shown. I like that cam Ward is like, yeah,
we suck.
Speaker 2 (28:32):
It is what it is.
Speaker 3 (28:33):
I don't think that the Cardinals should be favored by
this many points against anybody. They haven't done anything spectacular,
too big of a number like the Titans. Other option
is going to be the Chargers on a bounce back.
I get that the Chargers are injured. The Commanders are
also injured. It makes sense for me the Chargers are
at home this week bounce back or just hoping that
(28:54):
the Titans can hang in there enough.
Speaker 2 (29:01):
I'll go to my world.
Speaker 3 (29:02):
Usually I hate everything you guys have, so I'll let's see.
Speaker 4 (29:06):
I if I had to pick, like the charters, Evan.
Speaker 1 (29:12):
Joe Joe Alt is highly questionable.
Speaker 3 (29:15):
It looks like doubtful.
Speaker 4 (29:18):
Or high ankles forraying week after a doubt.
Speaker 1 (29:22):
Jaydon Daniels's bag, but how healthy is he?
Speaker 3 (29:26):
Mclaurin's hurt, Like both of these rosters are decimated.
Speaker 2 (29:29):
That's not the question for me.
Speaker 4 (29:31):
Uh, Like, here's the thing. If I had to break
the tie, every trend in the world says about the Titans, Like, just.
Speaker 2 (29:39):
Weren't you.
Speaker 1 (29:41):
Every every trend except for the Titans.
Speaker 4 (29:43):
Yeah, but I'm saying that there's usually one team that
just defies that, Like it used to be the Browns
back in the day that every week they would get
chart money and they just wouldn't cover.
Speaker 2 (29:54):
All Right. My other option was going to be the Cowboys.
Do you like that better?
Speaker 4 (29:59):
I bet the Jet So I think the Titans is
like that. The Titans are three and eighteen against the
spread under Brian Callahan. He's a joke, Like he's the
worst coach maybe in NFL history. He costs the team
every week.
Speaker 1 (30:10):
He's gonna get fired before McDaniel does.
Speaker 4 (30:12):
This team also wears down every week because with their
defense with sweat on ir that their Simmons wears down.
So you have one coach who never covers and then
another coach who always does, in Harball, and who just wins.
So my vote would be to start off the parlay
with Chargers money online and just trust Harbor, Harball and
(30:34):
Herbert to get it done at home. The Washington defense
is bad.
Speaker 1 (30:37):
Yeah, okay, I'm in for that. I was gonna vote
the Chargers anyway if we can eliminate the number.
Speaker 2 (30:42):
Weren't you in on the Titans on Tuesday?
Speaker 4 (30:45):
Me?
Speaker 1 (30:46):
No, I put them in solitary confinement. They're now in jail.
Speaker 3 (30:50):
I think stuck. He was in on the Titans on Tuesday.
I listened to this you he was.
Speaker 1 (30:55):
Only he would only lean in that direction because he
wants to fade me at every opportunity. And I that
the Titans are unbettable.
Speaker 4 (31:02):
No, I can't bet the Tights. I would need ten,
I said, I said, there's a number forever you did.
Speaker 2 (31:06):
You did, but I'm just saying not ten. Wait, is
Lad McConkie still in bet jail for me? Because he
still has a scorn?
Speaker 4 (31:14):
Yes? He is?
Speaker 2 (31:16):
We hi I it like I was. He is. He
is my goblin mask.
Speaker 1 (31:22):
I don't know what it is.
Speaker 4 (31:24):
All right, we're starting. So we're starting with Chargers money line.
My two are going to be the Panthers plus one.
We'll call it. And I guess if you went money,
then we'll go Panthers money line or Saints money line.
I like the Saints ofthing against the Giants. Panthers first
bet I made, uh the Saints like, look Jackson Dart's
(31:47):
first road start, there's no molik, neighbors. What did you
do last week? I mean he threw for eighty yards
and that was with the leak neighbors playing half the game.
All you gotta do is spy him. That's all they
have to do here. And then how are they going
to move the ball? Quarterbacks making their first two starts
on the road, so within their first two starts when
they've been on the road. This is thanks to Evan Abrams.
(32:07):
By the way, they're thirteen and thirty four. Straight up,
there's tape on. Now what the Giants want to do?
Like they caught the charters off guard last week, and look,
if you go back and watch that game, the Giants
were dominated. They got two picks that basically turned into
touchdowns because their defensive line dominated the game. Saints are
haven't won a game yet, looking for their first win
at home. They went to Totoe with the forty nine ers,
to Totoe with the Cardinals. They played. They went to Totoe
(32:28):
with the Bills in Buffalo. That game is basically dead
even throughout like everyone, I thought that the Saints had
to have a review to take a touchdown off the
board that would have given them the lead with six
to go in the game. So they were right there.
Their defense is twentyeighth and success rate Giants is twenty ninth.
The biggest tee here though, and you look, you might
(32:48):
have Taysom Hill contributing in some way. The rush defenses.
Both these teams want to run the ball like that's
all the Giants can do. They're they're just gonna try
to run dark give it to Scataboo. The Saints are
sixteenth in rush EPA eleventh and success rate on defense
against the run. The Giants are thirty second in both.
Speaker 2 (33:09):
But the Giants defensive line is so good.
Speaker 1 (33:12):
But that's some past defense.
Speaker 4 (33:14):
I think the I think the Saints can run it
here just like they did against Buffalo, and they can
stop the Giants rush. And Rattler has not been bad.
I mean he's he's basically been around league average. He's
seventeenth and success rate, fifteenth in completion percentage, sixteenth in
completion percentage over expectation. So uh yeah, first road start
for Dart Saints hunning their first win have been better
(33:37):
than people think. So it's either the Saints or the Panthers.
Speaker 3 (33:42):
All right, Evan, You're gonna have to tie break. But
also I would like to say back on my Titans thing.
They got their buck kick last week by twenty six points,
and stucky. You love to talk about the teams who
get shut out and beat by that many points, So
I don't want to hear your bull crap about it.
Speaker 4 (33:57):
I team's off of shut out. They are always good
bets teams off of blots. I got. I said the
Titans scream. I could every single possible trend you could
imagine the Titans are going to fit it. But I
have I have a The Titans have fit that for
the last year and a half, and they and Brian
Callahan one.
Speaker 2 (34:17):
Week you I'm gonna like your gold.
Speaker 4 (34:20):
I'm not saying they won't cover, but I'm saying Brian
Callahan is special. Three and eighteen against the spread is
like it's in the NFL is a pretty efficient market.
To go three and eighteen is mind boggling. But Evan,
you got to break the tide. Brianon is going with
the Saints, Benjuine with the Panthers, shocker.
Speaker 3 (34:38):
Oh my god, I didn't have them last week, the
one week I didn't have them.
Speaker 2 (34:42):
Thank God, don't come for me right now.
Speaker 5 (34:44):
I at least have to say this.
Speaker 6 (34:45):
The Titans Cardinals is the perfect market, Like seven and
a half on both sides. Why would I want to
touch a Cardinals Panthers game. Also, fewest total tickets of
any game this weekend. Betters are telling you they want
nothing to do with either side of that game.
Speaker 5 (34:59):
So I'm sure that what that.
Speaker 4 (35:00):
The stadium too, That stadium is not going to be it's.
Speaker 5 (35:03):
It's gonna be horrible to either way. Panthers, There's absolutely.
Speaker 6 (35:07):
No question that. Like, yeah, the sad Cats, it is
their time. This is a perfect line for them. I
would prefer the one and a half because I think that, yeah,
that game is going to be the sloppiest, dirtiest, worst
thing you've ever seen, where Miami could win by one.
Speaker 5 (35:23):
I like it, But we're gonna go money line, sad Cats.
Speaker 1 (35:26):
Give me the plus, yes, Evan, Yeah, I was really excited.
I was really excited to get the Saints in there.
But all right, we got the Chargers money line, we
have the Panthers money line. I think it's time we
hit a spread, I have. My two nominees are the
New York Jets plus two and a half at home
against the Cowboys or the Broncos the aforementioned plus four
(35:48):
against the Philadelphia Eagles. You know, the more I sit
and think about this Eagles team, just the way that
they've gotten to this point, they feel so fadable. Ceedee
lamb drops in week one and Kelsey bobble in week two.
The Rams out a nineteen point lead in week three,
and then more special teams buffoonery from from them in
(36:09):
week four against Tampa.
Speaker 4 (36:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (36:10):
AJ Brown disgruntled, whatever that's worth. Saquan hasn't gone off yet,
They're dealing with Elane Johnson injury. This just feels like
such a such.
Speaker 2 (36:17):
A fade against the Packers defense.
Speaker 1 (36:21):
Yeah, who did the Cowboys?
Speaker 4 (36:24):
Cowboys? Yeah? Okay, what do you what? Kevin Sketzo, what
are you going with? Kendra?
Speaker 1 (36:29):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (36:29):
My god?
Speaker 3 (36:30):
Every week you make me feel like I'm choosing between
Satan and the devil every single week.
Speaker 2 (36:35):
Every week.
Speaker 1 (36:36):
God, I just want to say that, as as poorly
as my head to heads have gone with Stuckey, I
am over. I have hit my nominee on this parlay
two weeks in a row. So I've done my part here.
Speaker 4 (36:51):
Oh Andrew, while you're deciding, I'll say, well said, we'll
keep it money line, let's go. I'm gonna go Jets.
I really like the Jets. I mean they look this
Cowboys team they got they got blown out by the
Bears backup defensive backs. They couldn't move the ball without
Ceedee Lamb. They also might be without multiple three or
four offensive linemen. Turpin might be out. Lamb is already out.
This is one of the worst defenses in the league.
(37:12):
They play. All they do is play zone. Fields has
been good against zone this year. Jets are top ten
success rate on offensive defense. They've been just completely burnt
by turnovers. They haven't forced any yet, so they're overdue.
I think they're the only team in the league hasn't
forced a turnover. Jags a force thirteen. That makes a
big difference teams who are zero and four or worse
facing a team that's five hundred or worse twenty and
(37:35):
eleven against the spread since twenty eighteen. So yeah, I
think that there's a lot going for the Jets here,
and if we want to keep it, keep this money line.
The Eagles are the new Chiefs. I'm sure they'll find
a way to win by three. My vote is for
the Jets and to go Jets money line. To make
it Chargers Panthers, Jets.
Speaker 3 (37:56):
But Kendra, you fine Jets money line if I don't
think you like that one.
Speaker 2 (38:03):
I don't think you like that one.
Speaker 1 (38:04):
The Jets, by the way, dead last in Nick Giffen's
luck rankings. Dead last.
Speaker 2 (38:08):
That's upset.
Speaker 4 (38:09):
Yeah, they should be two and two. They should have
beat the Steelers. They all played the Steelers, it got
that entire game, and they dominated the Dolphins last week
and just got unlucky. So they should be two and two.
The Cowboys should have lost to the Giants at home.
They needed a miracle at the end. You know, easily
could have lost, Like the Cowboys could be over they
(38:30):
could easily. They could easily be alling four, and the
Jets could be two and two, and this line death
would would certainly be a I think the Jets, that's
a favorite. I think I don't know I make it
a pick. So uh, if Evan, if you had to
choose between those, between the Jets and Broncos, who would
you have went with both?
Speaker 6 (38:46):
These are super sharp sides to the sense of like
I liked both games and I saw them in the rundown.
Speaker 5 (38:51):
It was probably my favorite selections of the two.
Speaker 4 (38:53):
I think at the moment, you would.
Speaker 1 (38:54):
Go with the Jets.
Speaker 6 (38:55):
I feel terrible about both of them, and then both
are going to go down in absolute disasters. Consider and
you're betting against Philly and you're betting on fields. But
I would go Jets.
Speaker 4 (39:05):
And what's fields is record when other team scores twenty
five points, it is like five five Yeah. So but
the Cowboys offense is going to be beat up this week,
down multip potentially down multiple starting receivers, including their best,
and maybe down three or four offensive linemen. So it's
it's it's messy. And if you want to go by
(39:26):
the Jets can't move the ball will against this embarrassing defense.
Speaker 1 (39:30):
I think if you wanted to go with the spot
play too the Cowboys coming off of that game, Yes,
they put up forty on the Packers. That was troubling
for Green Bay's defense that we all thought was top
of the line. Clearly there are question marks there, and
to do that without ceedee Lamb. But that was that
was a Super Bowl setting. You're on Sunday Night football.
Micah Parson's back in town. That felt like one of
(39:50):
the biggest games of the year from a hype perspective,
and then going to play the Jets the next week.
Is that's a big letdown spot emotionally. Yeah, tie oh,
I agree with that wholeheartedly.
Speaker 4 (40:04):
I need to expand, expand the overtime like.
Speaker 3 (40:06):
Fifteen do like do it like college does. Why do
we do it like college football? The college football overtime rules?
Speaker 4 (40:12):
Yep? Agreed?
Speaker 3 (40:14):
Okay, Wait, I have one last question, Evan, Chiefs are Jags?
Speaker 2 (40:18):
You can break my heart. It's okay. I don't expect
to win this game.
Speaker 5 (40:20):
Oh there is no Jags.
Speaker 6 (40:22):
Yeah, this isn't This isn't even a questions Jags game?
Speaker 2 (40:27):
Are we dragging off?
Speaker 4 (40:28):
Also? Casey is Detroit next week?
Speaker 6 (40:32):
I mean that's going to be a massive game on
Sunday Night football, even though this is Monday night.
Speaker 1 (40:36):
Like, jack are you going trapped? Are you going trap game? Here? Evan?
Speaker 3 (40:41):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (40:42):
Every single week.
Speaker 6 (40:42):
But I'm saying like that Lions game is massive I
think for both teams, and just the same the Seahawks.
Speaker 5 (40:48):
I like Jacksonville.
Speaker 4 (40:49):
This is Jags Podcast I have I bet on the
Jags uh this year. A couple of times. I have
had some futures on them to win the division, to
make the playoffs over their wind. Total love Liam Cohen,
loved him in college.
Speaker 2 (41:02):
I was looking at flights this morning.
Speaker 4 (41:04):
This This defense is better, their special teams are good.
The offense is going to come around like it's so
well schemed. I love the Jags. On Monday night, I'm
gonna have a podcast now, like I'm invested in the
Jags for the season, and the Ravens have to feel
a practice squad with Cooper Rush. Now Brandon's Dolphins are dead,
(41:26):
so like I'm I'm about thought.
Speaker 5 (41:30):
I feel like you got to try to get Jackson
Deville on the pod. That's god, I'm going.
Speaker 3 (41:34):
That's That's why I'm going home next weekend. I'm actually
collaborating with him.
Speaker 1 (41:39):
Amazing, that's awesome. I'm really glad that you brought that up,
because I did not want to finish this podcast not
talking about the Chiefs and the Jags. I do worry, though,
so I'm with you. I think I'm gonna end up
atting Jacksonville. I had don't have anything on this game yet.
I worry about that Trayvon Walker injury and Xavier Worthy.
I think last week was a good example of how
(41:59):
valuable he is to this offense. He got hurt three
plays in too Game one in Brazil, the offense came
back to life with him on the field. Now, was
that the Ravens defense because they have issues or is
that the real twenty twenty five Chiefs Because if it is,
that's not a Chiefs team that I want to fade
in prime time. So that's that's my concern.
Speaker 4 (42:20):
You trick you. I mean, we saw this Chiefs offense
all last year with when Worthy played, and they weren't
that explosive. Uh, the Ravens were without eight starters by
the end of that game on defense, including five Pro Bowlers.
You take any defense in the league, and then, by
the way, you take all those starters out of the
mix and then half of them during the game, like
any offense is going to look that explosive and competent.
(42:42):
I'm not buying it with the Chiefs yet, as far
as their offense looking explosive and Worthy helps for sure,
they still don't have a run game. The offensive line
still has issues. Yeah, the Walker injury Are they going
to club them up.
Speaker 3 (42:55):
And let them Yeah, they He's not going to play
this week, but they're definitely going to club them up.
I watched him. It's pretty big. The defense has played
really well. But I the way that they switched everything
around to have Josh Allen kind of like sub in
a little bit last week I thought was awesome. They
definitely got a lot more pressure on brock Perty on
(43:16):
the right side than I thought that they would, which
was nice. But they're definitely gonna club him up. I
don't think he's gonna play this week.
Speaker 4 (43:23):
My concern says there's a chance that he plays, so
we'll say.
Speaker 2 (43:26):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (43:27):
When I watched him walk off the field, I thought
it was his shoulder at first because of the way
that he was like kind of holding his upper body.
Speaker 2 (43:35):
So he's a tough guy. I don't know.
Speaker 3 (43:38):
I don't, I don't. I don't think he plays. But
it's Chiefs Monday night. They might just shoot him up
and put a club on him. I'd love if they did.
Speaker 4 (43:45):
Yeah, he had surgery yesterday, so they might just protect
it and see how.
Speaker 3 (43:50):
Yeah, I think it's a long season.
Speaker 2 (43:53):
I think you gotta I think you gotta sit him
this week.
Speaker 4 (43:56):
Regardless. I like the Jacks, and.
Speaker 2 (43:58):
It's also a better thing than I thought that it was.
Speaker 3 (44:00):
I thought he was going to be out, you know,
six to eight weeks, and they're saying way less, like
they're like barely going to miss any time.
Speaker 4 (44:07):
Yea officially day to day per Cohen.
Speaker 1 (44:11):
But I can get down with that one more, one
more before we officially wrapped. Because the other primetime game
is Patriots Bills. I really want to bet the Patriots here.
Can somebody talk me out of it?
Speaker 2 (44:23):
Don't do it, don't do it. No, it's I don't.
I don't think you should do that. The Bills are
the Bills have kind of been. I wonder what are
the Bills luck rankings, because.
Speaker 1 (44:36):
I'm glad you asked they are the fifth luckiest team,
and I was gonna.
Speaker 3 (44:39):
Say they feel like they've got to be up there too.
It's the fact that it's in Buffalo. I get that
they didn't look good against the Saints and they haven't
been the Bills team that we thought they would be
this season. But this Patriots team I just think is
due for a fallback to reality.
Speaker 2 (44:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (44:53):
I was the Panthers, they beat the bag out of them.
The offense seemed to come together. Drake May maybe had
his coming out moment last week, but I just the
way that this Patriots team has been all year. I
think that they are due to a bump back to reality.
Divisional game, prime time in Orchard Park. It's the last
time the Patriots are going to play them in Orchard Park.
Speaker 2 (45:13):
I think they're going to be the bag out of them.
Speaker 4 (45:16):
Yeah, I think the lines just probably about right. To
be honest, there's some injuries worth monitoring with the Bills,
like are they gonna get Milano and at Oliver back
Spencer Brown? The right tack we want to play it
is not. I don't think it's a great matchup for
the Patriots because the Bills are still getting a pressure
at an elite rate. The Patriots are giving up pressure,
(45:37):
which means there's probably going to be some drives that
are killed by sacks. And look, May's playing really well,
especially on late downs, although I'm not sure he can
sustain this high a level, especially against the defense. It's
going to get pressure, but he has no help from
the run game. I think that's huge.
Speaker 2 (45:55):
Because I was just going to add something this week.
Speaker 3 (45:58):
They said this morning that Travion Henderson is expected to
get the majority of the touches over Stevenson this week.
Speaker 1 (46:06):
I'm just gonna go's.
Speaker 4 (46:08):
Their run game has been so bad, mainly because the
offensive line and like that's how you want to attack
this Bills team. And I haven't seen enough on the
Patriots to have confidence in their run game. Like the
Saints run game has been decent, which is why I
thought they could move the ball in Buffalo. I haven't
seen that from the Patriots. It means you're gonna be
third and longs and then there's gonna be pressure, and
(46:29):
then May's probably going to take too many stacks. And
on the other side of the ball, the Patriots of linebackers,
their safeties aren't great, and coverage their linebackers the worst
in the league. I didn't coverage like Splaine and now
like it's bad. That's bad news against Allen, who is
can probably just carve them up in the middle of
the field. So I don't know if it's so. I
(46:51):
think it's like between seven and ten. It feels probably
about right. But I'm monitoring their injury report, so I
don't have anything for you there. Unfortunately, do you have
anything to add Evan on that game.
Speaker 5 (47:01):
I was just gonna say, I mean whiteouts to Roo
and one with Penn State.
Speaker 6 (47:03):
So maybe you're worried if you're in Buffalo for this one,
but I'm sure there's been other white acts this season.
Speaker 5 (47:08):
It's more of a joke.
Speaker 6 (47:09):
Obviously, Stucky took it out words right out of my mouth.
I think the eight and a half is actually kind
of right on target. I think both teams, like Buffalo
has been lucky in New England's playing much better than expected.
I think it just they meet this week in a
game that's kind of god. I think it's a prop
game more or less.
Speaker 1 (47:25):
Yeah, Henderson anytime touchdown Drake may has been awesome. When
he hasn't been Remy Henderson, Yeah, he's also played the Dolphins.
Speaker 6 (47:32):
Of Hunter, Henry Hunter, Henry Henry not bad.
Speaker 3 (47:36):
My thing with Henry though, is that like because of
the offensive line, the reason he hasn't been as active
is because he's been.
Speaker 2 (47:42):
Expected to block so much. Otherwise he would be their
best receiver.
Speaker 5 (47:45):
That's fair.
Speaker 1 (47:46):
All right, let's recap it head to head this week
Vikings Browns. It's Kendra and I against Stucky and someone's
gonna have the gross bean toast if if they lose
this one, this.
Speaker 4 (47:58):
Is win win for me. I either win or get
these now.
Speaker 1 (48:02):
I want, Well, why don't we do the bean toast?
I think Stuck you should have to read the poem.
I think can we get Stucky reading a poem?
Speaker 2 (48:09):
I feel like he'll be at writing poems though I don't.
Speaker 4 (48:12):
I mean I could write it. I don't time to
write a poem.
Speaker 1 (48:17):
Roses are red, you can do. I don't want Sucky
eating bean toast on the show. If he's happy about
eating bean toast, that's just that. I'm wearing you cutest
pumpkin in the pat shirt people.
Speaker 4 (48:29):
When you guys are eating bean toast, I'll be eating
it with you, even after the Browns cover how to
Seat It for fun. But I'll write a poem for you.
Speaker 1 (48:36):
Okay, Parlay this week Chargers money line against the Commanders,
Panthers money line against the Dolphins, and Jets money lines.
We got a money line special with the Chargers, Panthers
and Jets as our two kings and a Queen Parlay,
and we're gonna have a jag slumber party.
Speaker 4 (48:53):
I'm so sick in the head that the one I'm
least confident about that is the Chargers. That's how sick
my mind is. I'm like, I like the Jets and Panthers,
but the Chargers offensive line like.
Speaker 2 (49:03):
Can just say you hate me?
Speaker 4 (49:05):
Want to hate my brain? That's my brain. We have
a moneyline parlay at the Jets, Chargers, and Panthers. The
Jets and Panthers who have one combined win, I'm like, okay,
I like those, but the Chargers, who all they do
is win under Harball their.
Speaker 3 (49:21):
Favorite podcast with sad cats between the Panthers and the Jags.
Speaker 2 (49:28):
My work here is finished.
Speaker 4 (49:30):
How about this one?
Speaker 5 (49:31):
Roses are red, violence a blue? Don't bet the Titans
will never come through.
Speaker 2 (49:36):
You're doing his homework for you?
Speaker 4 (49:38):
What the hell got to be about you? Guys?
Speaker 1 (49:40):
So, but I like that Evans. Evans talent knows no bounds.
Speaker 2 (49:45):
Oh my goodness, that's all I got.
Speaker 1 (49:47):
That's well, it's not gonna get any better than that.
