Speaker 1 (00:09):
Welcome to the Favorites, presented by DraftKings. I'm Stucky, joined
by nobody else. It's just me here today. Everyone else
is on vacation. Thought i'd rip a little solo pod
to recap the NFL day quick look at next week
in full transpancy. I've never done one of these, so
who knows how it will go. Hopefully it's not a disaster,
but wild day of NFL results across the board as usual,
(00:34):
had a pretty good day. Betting could have been a
clean sweep if not for the Raiders. I guess we'll
start there because that game just ended. I haven't gone
through any of my game logging and all the advanced
stats yet, so this is just completely off the cuff.
I've no notes, and I'll get into all the advanced
stuff during the week, but let's just recap what happened
(00:55):
in that game. Bears win twenty five twenty four. The
Raiders turned it over five times in their own territory,
and the Bears still need a late last minute touchdown drive.
Credit to Caleb Williams for getting it done. And then
the Raiders, of course they can't. They can't punch it.
And I knew the game was probably lights out when
they were first in goal and couldn't score a touchdown,
(01:17):
and then their tackle gets hurt and they two runs
in a row, settle for a fifty three order and
the field goal gets blocked. Bears hold on to win
by one man. It's been frustrating season of NFL betting
for me, just as far as late games. I've lost
seven games in the last minute on last minute touchdown
(01:39):
drives have not won any I've lost two on missed
on blocked field goals which used diving. I feel like
used it never happened in the NFL, but I guess
now that's a thing. Felt like I was on the
right side there. But Bears backers get to the window.
Bears win twenty five twenty four. Gino Smith was horrific.
The Bears offense was horrific. Bears had fifty two yards
(02:01):
in their first twenty seven plays. Really they should have
been up by I don't know, three touchdowns. They got
four turnovers in their own territory to start the game.
But credit to Caleb and that offense for getting it done.
Lots of injuries worth noting that we'll talk about this
week on the Action Network. Podcast and the Favorites. If
you are new here, the Action Network podcast. I do
(02:22):
that with Chris Raybond that comes out on Thursdays. Creevey
the entire slate, the Favorites which you're listening to now,
we'll have an episode on Tuesday and then Thursday again
locking in all of our final bets. So that was Bears, Raiders, Colts, Rams.
Probably that this is the bad beat of the day.
I meant, I felt very slighted by the Raiders, but
(02:45):
a lot of it was self inflicted wounds. I guess
you could say the same with the Colts. I have
to say the Colts, from what I watched today, they're real.
Speaker 2 (02:53):
You know.
Speaker 1 (02:53):
Daniel Jones had two interceptions, could have had maybe one
or two more, but it is I have to say,
it is a joy watch their defense now, because look,
Chris Bout should be in a prison somewhere for keeping
Gus Bradley around for as long as he did. But
the defense actually schematically is in a different stratosphere now.
(03:15):
Ad Mitchell, what are you doing? When will these guys
learn it happened to your the same team last year
Jonathan Taylor cost them the game in Denver, going in
for a long touchdown, loses control of the ball at
the one, fumbles it out of the end zone, and
then the Colts still recover break off a long beautiful
(03:37):
run by Jonathan Taylor gets called back for guess who
ad Mitchell holding and it's still twenty twenty and then
two two at Well gets hit for a how long
was that?
Speaker 2 (03:53):
That was?
Speaker 1 (03:54):
A eighty eight yard touchdown to get outside the number
Colts in the game with an interception, Rams win twenty
seven twenty. The Colts suffer their first loss, both teams
three and one on the season. Also in the late Slate,
(04:14):
Jags get a big win in San Francisco to improve
to three and one. They also hand the forty nine
ers their first loss of the year. Devin Lloyd monster
game for the Jaguars, And look this Jaguars. I've been
saying the offense is so well schemed, like Liam Cohen
has that offense, everyone is in the right place is now,
(04:35):
they don't always execute, and there's they're gonna need to
get to that point because while this defense is significantly improved,
similar to the Colts with the coordinator chains, they're actually
running stuff that fits their personnel on the back end.
The front seven does have a ton of talent. Last year,
this team only forced nine takeaways. On the entire season,
(04:58):
they had nine takeaways if thirteen thirteen through four games,
they have at least three in all four games. Happened
again today. They win the turnover battle four to nothing,
which obviously was huge. Uh you know San Francisco Surface
box score won it three eighty nine to three, twenty
(05:19):
five yardage six point two to five point two yards
per play, but the mistakes for Killer pretty had a
horrific interception that I think Lloyd grabbed over the middle
of the field, fumble late that I think Lloyd grabbed again.
So big win for the Jags on the road. Both
teams now sitting at three and one. Patriots destroyed. Wow, actually,
(05:40):
you know this game just went final. I'll finish off
the late slate my Ravens. Oh boy, what an absolute disaster.
Lose thirty seven to twenty in Kansas City. Lamar Jackson
goes down with a hamstring injury. Not that that would
have mattered. The game is already in hand. But Marlon Humphrey,
brokeland Smith go out. Your defensive line is already in shambles.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
Right now.
Speaker 1 (06:06):
They look like the worst defense in the league without
without all their personnel, with how the rookies that they
were going to count on are playing, this.
Speaker 2 (06:13):
Is a sad, sad unit.
Speaker 1 (06:15):
I mean, to give up thirty seven to the Chiefs,
that's like fifty eight against a normal offense. Total yardage
will look the same. I think both teams were around
three to seventy. Raven's average seven yards per play the
Chiefs five point five, doesn't I mean it was a
dominant effort by Kansas City, who did go four for
four and fourth down Bravens went one for four, which
(06:36):
made it a little more lopsided than it was. But
that game was all Kansas City, and it's all about
the Ravens defense. And then we'll see on Lamar Jackson's
injury at Cooper Rush coming in there. And you want
to talk about an offense that will look drastically different
from your starter to your backup, I don't think there's
a more drastic change than what would occur in Baltimore.
Chiefs get it done thirty seven to twenty improved a
(06:59):
two and two Ravens inexplicably drop to one in three
on the season pretty much kissed the one seed goodbye.
Good news if you're a Ravens fan. I don't know
if it's good news. But the only time they've ever
won the Super Bowl, they've had to do it the
hard way both times. Just going on the road looks
like they might have to do that again, at least
for the AFC Championship game. But that defense needs to
(07:21):
get healthy. They need to tign or trade for someone
on the interior. Lots of injuries to keep track of.
They host the Texans next, and then the Rams and
the Bear so they have three straight home games before
going to Miami, so there is a little runway here
to get right. But how healthy is the roster? That's
all I'll have to look at moving forward.
Speaker 2 (07:39):
All right, let's get.
Speaker 1 (07:40):
To some of the earlier games. We'll start in Dublin.
Steelers take care of the Vikings twenty four, twenty one.
Speaker 2 (07:49):
Aaron Rodgers. I thought played well. He was efficient.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
I mean everything was like short, dank dunk, dank dunk,
and then you hit the long one to DK Metcalf
which was short, but he took it all the way
for eighty yards. I thought Kenneth gainwell, played really well,
six catches for thirty five yards, nineteen carries for ninety
nine yards. That was the difference. Steelers haven't really been
able to run the ball. Vikings have been vulnerable against
(08:12):
the run. Steelers were able to find their run game
wentz through for three point fifty, but there was a
lot of hollow yards in the end. Yeah, this the
end game of this. This was because the Steelers looked
like looked in control for most of the game and
then the end got really interesting. Mike Tomlin, one of
(08:33):
the most conservative coaches in NFL history. Fourth and goal
with a three four to go, hits up ten. Tomlin says,
as he always would have done in the past, has
fuel Rogers says.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
No, no, no, no, no, no, We're going for this as you should.
Speaker 1 (08:49):
You know, you want to make this a three possession
game with a touchdown and an extra point.
Speaker 2 (08:54):
Rogers wins that battle.
Speaker 1 (08:56):
They decided to go for it, and I'm sure Tomlin
is on the sidelines just hating life because this is
so against him, so against everything that he stands for.
And game over runs for one yard. Vikings takeover and somehow,
some way they get behind the defense. I still don't
(09:19):
know how this happened, wentz deep right to Jordan Addison
eighty one yards down to the one, a game saving
play by Peyton Wilson. Unbelievable play chases down Jordan Addison.
Why was that so big? Minute of game time came
off the clock before Minnesota scored a touchdown? Okay, twenty
(09:41):
four to twenty one. They score before the two minute warning.
Minnesota looks to onside kick it. I disagreed with that.
I don't think this stealers will have been able to
run eight seconds off. I was thinking in my head,
like would I've run a double or like triple reverse,
because if you get it to the two minute warning,
the game's pretty much over. But they had one time out.
They the two minute warnings still and then the one
(10:03):
side kick. The on side kick is rowing now and
it's just trash. It's like five percent is the only
time you've ever had when you get a pure unicorn.
So if you don't get the onside kick, you're just
gonna crush yourself in field position and have no timeouts
backed up, which is exactly what happened. But before then
it's fourth and inches and Tomlin said, no, no, no,
I saw what happened last time. We're punning. This takes
(10:27):
a delay of game punts it for a touchback net
of twenty yards. But the Steelers defense is able to
hold up and they hold on for the victory to
improve to three and one in first place in the
AFC North. Vikings drop the two and two, they'll stay overseas.
They'll get the Browns next. The Browns are in I
(10:51):
don't think I've ever seen a rougher scheduling stretch of
my life. They're in Detroit right now. They will go
overseas to play a team that's already overseas, which is
a huge advantage for them. And then they got to
come back home and play on the road again in Pittsburgh,
who has a bye next week. Absolutely vicious three game
stretch for the Browns, who fall thirty four to ten
(11:13):
to the Lions. Thought the Browns defense held up well again,
I mean, both teams only had sixteen first downs. They
held the Lions under three hundred yards, under five yards
per play. It was just their offense have let them
down three turnovers and the damn finally broke broke open.
It was what ten to seven late second quarter Flaco
(11:38):
intercepted and dj Re takes it back to the five
yard line, touchdown. Lions seventeen to seven the Browns. Once
you get to seventeen, the game is over against the Browns.
I mean, this team can't score. That's what happened the Bengals.
The Bengals won seventeen sixteen. I can't remember the last
time the brown scored seventeen points. That was pretty much
(11:59):
game over. A few goals linees out of field goal
before I have to go up twenty seven and then
win thirty four to ten. Huge game four. Not the
sun God, the touchdown God. I'm on Ross Saint Brown
who finished with seven or seventy and two touchdowns. Pretty
pedestrian day for Golf, who was obviously under a lot
more pressure this week than he was last week. Lines
(12:20):
only rushed for three point eight yards per carry, So
game effort again for the Browns defense, But there's only
so much you can do when your offense is that
in that Eagles, Bucks. Eagles win thirty one to twenty five.
Bucks almost dated again. Baker with the ball late down eight.
I thought he was going to pull another rabbit out
of his hat. It is conferred he's not using a
(12:43):
trick ball, because this guy could not throw an interception
no matter if he threw it right to the old defense.
But he did finally throw an interception late. The Eagles
offense did not much of anything. It only had two
hundred yards three point four yards per play. I get
that they sat on it a lot in the second half,
which almost cost them by the way, and I get
there was a negative thirty yard safety at the end
to lock up the win. But pretty underwhelming effort by
(13:07):
the Eagles offense. Once again, I thought the Eagles defense
and special teams. The Eagles is going to get a
block special teams block return for a touchdown every week.
Probably not going to lose too many games. Bucks are
handed their first loss. Eagles remain undefeated. Eagles upcoming schedule.
(13:29):
Next week they will host the Broncos and then they're
at the New York Giants. The New York Football Giants
pop the champagne bottles. They are in the victory column
and they hand the Chargers their first loss of the season.
Jackson Dart now tied among all NFL quarterbacks in NFL
(13:51):
history for the best winning percentage. He's now want to
know as a starter. They're fun. The Giants are fun.
I had the Giants here and they definitely caught the
Chargers a little off guard with some of the Reid
option stuff. I thought, Dart, I mean, only threw for
one hundred and eleven yards, but guess what, no interceptions,
no key mistakes. Herbert, by the way, through two picks
(14:12):
in this game was under fire throughout. That was the
difference in the game. The Giants defensive line I think
controlled this game. Total yardage, Chargers three thirty eight to
two fifty. I mean the two picks to none, that
was the difference. I mean, if you look surface dats
Chargers six yards per play, Giants three point six. But
Giants was just run run, rely on the defense and
(14:36):
that's what got him to the window. The killer news
here Molik Neighbors out for the year with what appears
to be a torn acl They were fun and like
I can, Dart, Neighbors, you got Andrew Thomas back at
left tackle.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
I might still bet on them a bunch.
Speaker 1 (14:55):
But yeah, it's it is worth noting one of the
reas since the Giants defensive line dominated that game. Chargers
offensive line is a mess and they lost Joel to
an injury. I have not seen an update on that,
but that is massive. They already lost Slater before the season,
moved all over the left tackle as a result. The
(15:17):
right tackles now a big question. Paul has been quitting
himself very nicely at left tackle now if you're down,
But I mean, that's what you have to watch with
the Chargers Giants next at the Saints. Chargers next home
against the Commanders the Saints. I was on the Saints,
(15:40):
oh man, I thought they were going to blow the
cover at the end of the way I've been running
in late game scenarios. Bill's hold on thirty one to nineteen,
but it was not pretty closer game than that. Score
indicates a couple key sequences in this game. The Saints
almost had a touchdown to take the lead in the
fourth quarter, but it was ruling complete. Brandon Cooks, Yes,
(16:02):
that Brandon Cook's still around. I thought he had it,
but it looked like it hit the ground. They reviewed
it and it was not a touchdown. Saints thoughts about
a fourth and three late. They only gained two yards,
but I thought they one of the keys to the
game at the end of the first half. Just a
very and this has happened a couple of times with
(16:22):
the Saints and Kellen Moore, which is worth noting this
is his first time as a head coach. They had
the ball, they were it was fourteen to ten. There's
their second in goal at the five with one thirty
left and the Bills have no timeouts. You're playing Josh Allen.
(16:47):
It's fourteen to ten. If you kick it off, like
say you even score and just kick it off, and
like say you score on a pass that play, the
chances are that Allan is going to at least get
a field goal, right, so then you know your what
net four points if you even score, which is certainly
not a given. So I would have ran it twice
(17:09):
and at the bare minimum, obviously he still want to
score a touchdown. But I would have ran it twice
because at the bare minimum you can take forty seconds off,
forty seconds off, and then if you wanted to try
and score a touchdown, fine on the last play, or
you kick the fuel goal, you're down fourteen to thirteen,
you leave zero seconds for Allen. Instead, they throw it
to Shaheed. It was it that had a chance, but
(17:31):
wasn't the highest percentage pass and then they run the
Philly special and throw a pick. It was a nice
play by Cole Bishop, but oh that that play calling. Fortunately,
there was a personal foul in Buffalo, so I got
backed up to the one. Weren't able to do anything,
but the Saints moved the ball. The injuries for the
Bills on defense were certainly noticeable. The Saints were moving
the ball on the ground. I mean thirty four carries
(17:52):
for one to eighty nine average five point six yards
per carry. I thought Rattler played well again. Their offense
hasn't been bad on a down to down this year.
I know he's been like the round league average if
you look at some of the success rate. He was
pretty poised. Alan threw a pick in this game, probably
should have had another one, but you know, Saints to
(18:14):
quitted themselves well three hundredards to total offense. Bill's finished
with three point fifty, just a couple plays here and there,
which if you're the Saints going up against a team
that's much better than you on the road, you just
can't afford to give some of those points up and
leave some of those plays on the table. So Bill's
improved to four and now They're one of only two
(18:35):
remaining undefeated teams in the NFL, along with the Eagles.
They will host the Patriots next. Patriots absolutely dominant victory
over the Panthers forty two to thirteen. It wasn't as
bad as that sounds, as crazy as that is, as
(18:57):
crazy as that might say, if like you didn't watch
this game. I mean, the Panthers out gained the Patriots
yards for play, Patriots six point four to five point oho,
So why was the score forty two to thirteen? Special
teams and then this game just got out of hand.
I mean Carolina seven play seventy six yard drive, touchdown
drive to open the game. They go up six to nothing.
(19:18):
I have the Patriots. I'm like, oh, okay, maybe I
got this wrong. Then they missed the extra point. Patriots
go three and out, two yard drive, Panthers punt and
it gets returned eighty seven yards for a touchdown. Panthers
punt later in the game that gets returned for I
(19:40):
think seventy yards. Marcus Jones had had a day sixty
one yard return which set up another short field touchdown.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
In between.
Speaker 1 (19:48):
Then the Panthers missed a field goal, so they had
a missed field goal, missed extra point, and then basically
gave up fourteen points on punts in the first half
when you're like negative eighteen right there. And again they
lost by twenty nine and it just got out of
the hand from there. Patriots are up twenty eight to
six and cruise. Patriots improved a two and two. Panthers
(20:09):
dropped to one and three. As I mentioned before, Patriots
at the Bills. Next, Panthers will host the Dolphins.
Speaker 2 (20:14):
Oh what a game.
Speaker 1 (20:16):
Texans win twenty six nothing over the Titans. I mean
the Titans. I'm convinced at this point they're a front
for a point shaving operation. That's my only explanation. The
NFL is an efficient market. How is it one team
under one head coach Brian Callen three and eighteen against
the spread over a twenty one game stretch three and eighteen.
(20:38):
I can't even begin to explain how unfathomable that is.
Titans do not score a single point, get completely shut out.
They're gonna be screaming for every trend. Every bi low
fiber in my body is gonna be screaming about the
Titans next week. At the Cardinals, it felt like a
(21:00):
huge win for the Titans to not cover and me
not have any money on them, to be honest with you.
But Titans fall to zero and four, Texans improved to
one and three. Its twenty six nothing, but it was
six nothing in the fourth quarter. So let's not get
a twist that it's not like the Texans offense. They
here's the thing with all the Titans defensive injuries, they
(21:21):
just wear down like it the damn breaks. It happened
against the Rams, It'll probably continue to happen. But it's
a point shaving operation. The kicker's name is Joey Sly.
If you're going to run a mob mob affiliated point
shaving operation as an NFL team, I mean the guy
(21:42):
to run it his name. If it's like a TV show,
his name would be Joey Sly all right. I think
he missed a couple kicks today. Disaster from the Titans.
Godspeed all those who who bet them today and had
to watch. Trust me, if there's anyone who knows how
that feels, it's me. Falcons big win over the Commanders.
(22:05):
All the teams that had lost by thirty plus and
everyone panicked over last week, they all won today and
covered all the teams that lost, I shouldn't say won.
They all covered all the teams that won last week
by thirty plus and everyone was like, oh, well, they
none of them covered. That's the week the week nature
of the NFL. Historically, those are all like sixty sixty
one percent. Falcons get it done thirty four to twenty seven,
(22:27):
and it felt way more dominant than that. I mean,
Washington out of a field goal eight before then they
got a fourth and three touchdown to the Deebo Samuel
on a two point conversion. But as someone who bet
the Falcons, I never felt that it was in doubt.
Mariot only threw for one point fifty. You know, Rodriguez
had a long broken run. Other than that, they didn't
(22:48):
really do much. Everyone said, Pennix is done. He went
twenty at twenty six for three thirteen. Pretty good day
at the office with two touchdowns. He did have one
really bad interception. B John Robinson was the story of
the day. That monster Monster Day seventeen. Carries seventy five
yards in a touchdown, four catches one hundred and six
yards point eighty one from scrimmage. Falcons write the ship.
(23:09):
Both teams two and two Falcons next host the Bills.
I believe after a bye week that'll be a good spot,
especially at the Bills still aren't healthy. Falcons should run
all over the Bills run defense right now is completely broken.
Commanders next head to the Chargers. Interesting game. I have
(23:31):
to check on some of the a lot of the injuries. Obviously,
I believe Daniels will play almost niney nine percent sure
of that. McLaurin. Well, Commanders have a bunch of injuries.
Chargers the offensive line, that's what's worth noting there.

Speaker 1 (24:14):
Quick look time Monday Night Football. I like the Bengals
over a touchdown. Last year, these teams late in the year,
dominant Denver defense, Barrow was playing. Both teams wanted the win.
The Bengals have leaver three and a half point favorites
coin flip game Broncos this year dominant defense again, Bengals again,
disastrous defense. I mean, not much has changed other than
there's no Barrow. Last week talking, a couple of odds
(24:35):
makers were saying Barrow's only worth three and a half
four points. I disagree with that. I think it's closer
to five. But you know, throwing home field, I can't
get over a touchdown here, so I can't even get
two touchdown now. The Bengals defense is a disaster, and
they could and the Bengals offensive line is a disaster,
just like it was last year. So there's a chance
the Broncos defensive line just overwhelms Browning and then and
(24:56):
Bonix actually looks like a competent quarterback. But I just
can't get to this number. So and by the way,
the Bengals is a team again, no one wants to
bet them after last week and fits all what I
just mentioned. Team off of a thirty point loss, so
it could just go completely sideways. I did bet the
(25:16):
Bengals over a touchdown Jets Dolphins, I actually leaned. I
hate the doll I actually lean Dolphins. Who wants to
bet that? Look, look, their offensive line is a disaster
the Dolphins, But so the Bucks last week had like
five backups and they couldn't hold them down. Jermaine Johnson
is out. This Jets defense is bad, man. I mean, like,
just look at the results that they've had this year.
(25:38):
They made the Steelers offense look like the two thousand
ninety nine Rams in Week one, the Bills did whatever
they wanted the Bucks with like five backup offensive linemen.
So lean over and Dolphins there. I don't trust fields
and the Jets defense. It's just it's problematic, and they
don't have like the full set of receivers to fully
(25:59):
and fields to fully take advantage of this Dolphins secondary.
Speaker 2 (26:03):
I don't love the over.
Speaker 1 (26:04):
If I had a bet, that's where I would go,
I would actually prefer the Dolphins a bit more. I'm
close numbers wise, Jet square early. I think it's a
good spot to bet the Dolphins live all right? Looking
at next week Rams Niners Thursday Night Football, Rams three
and a half point favorite. I'd be inclined to look
at the I guess I should pull my numbers here. Now,
these won't be updated for anything that happened today. I'll
(26:28):
try to eyeball it and tell you what I think
I'll adjust, but I really won't have any idea. You
got to remember, home field here is not almost nothing
like literally almost nothing travel divisional game crowd. Yeah, I'd
take the Niners barring injuries. Look in the injuries if
yours all get banged up. Agains Jennings was back and
(26:49):
looked good, but I'm I'm under a field goal there,
so anything over a field goal on first look, I'd
look at the Niners. Texans at Ravens. No you no
note clue? Yeah, I mean are the Texans? Is the
Texans offense gonna look competent? The state of this Ravens defense,
And then obviously it's all Lamar a hamstring. I mean
my number is meaningless right now with all of the injuries,
(27:14):
and I have to downgrade the Ravens significantly.
Speaker 2 (27:17):
Again.
Speaker 1 (27:18):
Yeah, I don't know. Without without knowing Lamar's status, I can't.
I can't even begin to guess, Like if it was
Cooper Rush, if it was Cooper Rush against this, the
state of this, the state of this Ravens team, I
don't know what is it a pick?
Speaker 2 (27:32):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (27:33):
I really can't venture. I guess let's see what else
do we got Vikings against Browns. Is it going to
be McCarthy, Is it Wentz?
Speaker 2 (27:42):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (27:43):
Maybe I should know, I don't know if they announce that.
I do think it's like McCarthy could get better, but
it's a disaster with McCarthy and against this that defense.
Speaker 2 (27:51):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (27:52):
Vikings do have a big advantage here. They're already going
to be overseas. This game is in London, tough spot
for the Browns.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (28:01):
First gut is under Like, what's what's Flacco gonna do
against his defense? That would be my first look. Giants
at Saints. I'm telling you the Saints are better than
people think. Like today, they were like toe to toe
with the Bills for most of that game. Last week
got way out of hand. They were toe to toe
with the Niners last week got weight of hand because
(28:21):
the special teams like they've they're better, Like Rattler is
playing decently, they have they have some nice weapons, a
lot of I had some bad drops today their defense.
Granderson played really well to they. Kim Jordan doesn't age.
I don't like what's going on there. I need some
of what he's drinking. First thought would be Saints. I
don't know what's what's What are the Saints going to be?
What's that gonna be a pick? I'd be interested in
(28:43):
the Saints.
Speaker 2 (28:43):
First.
Speaker 1 (28:44):
First thought, Giants off that huge win. No neighbors you
got now they have on tape? What some of the
stuff they're going to do with Dart don't Saints are
a dog especially, I might look their way.
Speaker 2 (28:55):
What else we got?
Speaker 1 (28:56):
Vikings looks like to look at a four and a
half thirty seven and a half. Oh that's low, but
I gotta run total stuff. But I actually would lean
under at first glance. Dolphins a Panther's You can't really
say much about this game until tomorrow night. Dolphins early
one and a half point favorites, total forty four and
a half. Talk about that later in the week. Cold
(29:18):
six and a half point favorites at home against the Raiders.
The Raiders could have been a huge day. Raiders made
they put powers Johnson in on the offensive line and
that did some things that unlocked genty a bit. I
gotta figure out what's going on with Geno Smith. I
mean this is indoors against all backup d backs, and
you threw that many interceptions. Some of them were bad,
(29:38):
too bad. Total forty eight and a half there. Got
to dig in further there. Eagles four and a half
point favorite.
Speaker 2 (29:46):
Let me pull up.
Speaker 1 (29:47):
It looks like the Saints are one and a half
point underdogs. Would lean that way initially at Draft Kings
Eagles five and a half point favorites. Total forty three
and a half got away for the Broncos to pull
a short week for Denver traveling across the country, but
gotta wait on injuries. I'll tell you I make that
and justin for a short week when I'm around five.
Speaker 2 (30:10):
So it looks about right.
Speaker 1 (30:11):
Ooh, DraftKings Saints two and a half win underdogs. Good
teaser option if you have cheap teasers. Would love to
get a three there. Not sure if we'll see it.
Jets one and a half point home dogs against Dallas again.
Gotta wait for them to play tomorrow and Dallas to
play tonight. Seahawks two and a half point favorites at
home against the Tampa Bay lux injuries for Tampa worth monitoring,
(30:34):
traveling across country, Seattle, extra rest at Seattle. Defense is
nasty that front. I mean, you have a team they
can get pressure without blitzing. McDonald's scheming up things in
the back end. Wouldn't be surprised if this is a
major Baker pick progression game. Arizona eight and a half
point favorites at home against Tennessee. I mean, can you
(30:55):
really lay eight and a half with Arizona? I mean,
I guess you could. We said that about the Texans
today and they won twenty six nothing. But this Arizona offense,
maybe they finally figured some things out at the end
of that game on Thursday night. But the play calling,
the receiver Harrison, maybe he finally has confidence.
Speaker 2 (31:16):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (31:17):
Bengals early line catching eight and a half at home
against Detroit. Got to see what the Bengals look like
tomorrow night. In injuries, Chargers three point favorites early against Washington.
Already talked about that game. Bill's laying eight and a
half at home against New England. I might be interested
in New England, depending on Buffalo's injury situation, like it's
their defense right now as holes and you can move
(31:38):
the ball on them. And Drake May can certainly go
get you a back door if you need it. Monday
Night Football next week Chiefs minus three at Jacksonville. Jackson
will be my first look there. The Jags are much
better people like, people don't understand. Not everyone understands. It's
like an offense schematically a world's difference defense schematically the
(32:00):
world's difference. Like it is insane what this coaching staff
has done for this team. You're gonna get me three
with the home dog cheap three DraftKings three minus one
oh five. I think I'm in Today was I don't
think today was about Kansas City. Now, I will say
having Worthy back was huge. You saw that, and once
I get Rice back to be another layer and finally
make their offense a bit more dynamic. But today was
all about the Ravens and their issues and injuries right now.
(32:23):
So definitely interested in the Jags. All right, that'll do it.
Tweet me at Stucky too, let me know how you
like this. It was the first ever sold a pod.
I just rambled, so I had no structure. I had
no notes, I had nothing, so hopefully enjoyed it. Hopefully
enjoyed just some nice NFL rambling on a Monday morning.
