The NFL Week 8 Sunday slate was a bit of a snooze-fest but The Favorites is back to recap it anyway! Kendra Middleton, Stuckey and Brandon Kravitz are back for their biggest takeaways on the day. They get into the good, the bad and the ugly as they discuss their GOATs and WOATs on the day. They also touch on tonight's Green Bay vs Pittsburgh matchup and put together a parlay for Monday Night Football. Pus, they react to breaking news in the world of college football! The Favorites will be back on Tuesday and Thursday this week to dive even deeper into who they'll be backing and fading in the NFL for Week 9.

National tight ends day. I'll give you a little preview
of Steelers Packers tonight, a Monday night football parlay as well,
but first a recap of the two Kings and a

I took the Bears a plus six and a half
on Tuesday because I thought, Hey, if Lamar doesn't play,

I'd be set till the holidays. It doesn't matter. He
gets announced out Shenanigan's a foot. Tyler Huntley plays and
the Ravens win and not only cover the new spread

I mean, there was one close, good finish and that

was Jets Bengals the Owen seven Jets who that's the
Bengals defense. That's one of the most embarrassing performances I've
ever seen. Justin Field too, looked like he couldn't complete
a pass for weeks. Has a wide receiver room of
Arion Smith, who else was Bizard and I don't even

know the third was and Tyler Johnson and they put
up five hundred and twenty yards come back from two
touchdowns down late Aaron Glenn, who always just looks frozen
on the sidelines like it's just like, oh my god,
this season, it just looks completely frozen. It makes the

get it, score. Joe Flacco goes into the locker room
to take a ship, comes out ships on the field.
I guess again and then but the offense was fine.
He played well, but it definitely under yards to that

was like, all right, well the four o'clock last week,

the early slate was awful, but the four o'clock games
were good. This, I mean, the four o'clock games today
were horrendous.

You can't put the Titans on at four o'clock if
there's only three games league that has to be a
new like just league rule. So hopefully that means we
have some exciting Sundays coming, because I at the Witching
Hour I live for.

The by yeah, and just bad games. So hopefully that means, uh,
we think they're they're coming, but the last two weekends
have been have been rough.

Uh, National tight Ends Day delivers again. Tight Ends across
the league accounted for ten touchdowns seven different tight ends,
if my account was right scored between Thursday night, Ronde
Gadsden to this evening Kendra, I'm a little disappointed I
didn't just sit out everything else and just bet any
time touchdowns with tight ends.

Couple of the other big storylines. The Giant Swag was extinguished,
Jackson Dart melted down, and a lot of that happened
after Cam skataboo horrendous injury with his ankle twisting in
ways that your ankle is not supposed to twist. Philly
looks like they're all the way back. Their passing offense
came back a week ago. This week, Jalen Hurts had

fourth passing touchdowns. That's not even the story of their offense.
Saquon Barkley was unbelievable in today's game, and the Patriots
extend their winning streak to five games. Drake may looking
like a legit MVP candidate, stucky among those or others.
What was your biggest takeaway from the Sunday Action.
Speaker 5 (08:13):
Yeah, I don't know if the Eagles are all the
way back. I mean, the Giants rundy is horrific, and
then they had more cornerback injuries. Their cornerbacks were Banks,
who's unplayable, and Black, who just came up from the
practice squad. He's on the scout team. Like that is
as bad as you could ever have it in your secondary.
And the Giants guy had no money on the game.

The Giants got a horrendous whistle. They had a long
touchdown callback for an Opi which was complete horseshit, and
then hurts on four on another tush Bush clearly fumbled
the ball and they copped out with the forward progress.

The offensive pass interference was crazy too.

Yeah, yeah, I just said that was awful, Like it
awful call the tush push. Yeah, another play that the
rest box and the favor that led to another touchdown.
I mean, Eagles are the right side. But the Giants
were so beat up on defense. Their secondary was in shambles.
But then Scataboo going down. It's a shame the Giants
are cursed like Dart Scataboo neighbors. It would have been fun.

Yeah. Now we're just yeah, still balling though.
Speaker 4 (09:18):
It's impressive like he went out there even after Skataboo,
got hurt, had a rushing touchdown, still trying to make
the receivers that he has left work. I would love
to get money on him as the offensive rookie of
the Year right now, but with what he's left to
work with, I just I can't get there.

Yeah, he's deer got hurt too. I mean, like the
lead he was, I mean, how many times can you
throw to Theo Johnson and Wanda Robinson and put up numbers.
It's a shame because the Giants were like there was
a little glimmer there, and then the Broncos meltdown and
then today more injuries so and then in regards to

the Patriots game, yeah, just not a great matchup for
the Browns just because they are passing offense is terrible.
And that's how you have to attack the Patriots. And
you can beat this Browns defense with explosive passes and
that's what Drake May does. His deep ball right now is.

And I mean the Patriots also got their run game going.
I mean the average over five yards carry close to
two hundred yards rushing. The brown here brown pretty much
nothing except Miles Garrett deserves a shout out for five

That's something I wouldn't be so scared to be around.

I was gonna I was just gonna ask you if
you thought that it said more about Will Campbell or
more about Miles Garrett today.

Probably a little bit of both. I mean, Garret can
embarrass rookies, but I mean the Patriots offensive line definitely
has issues. It's just it's a more credit to what
May has done in his deep ball this year and
his pocket awareness and his scrap anality, because like the
run game hasn't been there all year it was today.
The offensive line and the protection isn't great. It's not

like he has the best weapons in the league. So
he's definitely playing really well. Wasn't a great matchup for
the Browns and the Browns defense like it is. We've
seen it. We have a huge sample size. Now it's
night and day at home. They suffocate teams, doesn't matter
who you are on the road, it's just not the
same team. And then speaking of not the same teams, well,

it wasn't a great day of people that said there's
not a drop off between Rice Young and Andy Dalton.

has been really good. The Bills were able to run
all over them, and the Bills run defense has been
really bad. The Panthers were able to the Panthers were
not able to get their run game going, so that
was a bit surprising. And then the same thing with
the Falcons. A lot of people said, like, it's gonna

be an upgrade with Kirk Cousins. I know that Drake
London was out, but.

Wow, what the hell happened? To them.

That's one of the most shocking results of the year.
Miami winning thirty four to ten didn't even feel that close.
Like Tua had a really efficient day twenty to twenty
six to ten ish I think four touchdowns. But the
most surprising thing is this horrendous I know that the

career points spread wise. I know that the Falcons defense
had some injuries Diablo and Walker, a couple guys in
the front seven. But the Falcons offense, I know it
was Kirk Cousins. He did not look good, but like Ijon,

mean it is basically like Kyle Pitt showed up and
nobody else did anything. I mean, there's no Drake Lennon.
Darneld Mooney had one catch for eleven yards. That is
a horrendous Falcons loss. And they've been really good at home,
and we'll see on them because there might be an

opportunity to buy them allow next week if Pennix is
back in London, because they're at the Patriots curious to
see what that.

have to say that I was wrong about this Patriots season.

even know how else you go anywhere else with your
vote and Goat of the week. Maybe you could go
the Falcons or Raheem Morris in general. Maybe it's got
to be Raheem if it's with the Falcons, because what

eight if we wanted to, with how bad today's games were.
But the Patriots do deserve a proper shout out. They

they're three wins away from hitting their win total. Over

Goat for me would be CJ. Stroud. Texans are my
favorite bet today and yeah, he was dominant. I mean
San Franz defense can't get after the passer. And if
that's the case, people say like Stroud is a terrible quarterback.
He's behind a bad offensive line that just crumbles against

competent defenses that can get pressure. When he plays defenses
that can't get pressure, you can still make all the throws.
And he was throwing to a bunch of Iowa State
young receivers who had I think thirteen catches for one

The one that I lost today was the Saints, so

you had to do in that game is not turn

and you throw the pick six after the huge goal
line stand, which is massive. There was three more turnovers.

couple of like fumbles drops, But Rattler was who's who
had He has been good against the blitz. He was
not reading the Bulls Blitz. So I give credit to
to Bowls and I give credit to one of the

this might be one of your goats was Anthony Nelson,

the Colts over the Titans. They were dominant, put up

in the week, and then Justin Fields goes out leads

the season, and Fields isn't great by any stretch, but dude,

times or anything like that, but the same thing with
us when people are mean to us, like we can
relate to it online, but sometimes people need to take
a step back and realize that these are human beings

people on Twitter, whatever.

vote is the Dack today for a couple of reasons.
I mean, the Cowboys offense just isn't the same on
the road, and certain Patrick Surtain went out with an injury,

interceptions no touchdowns. And the Cowboys defense is a joke.
Although I think i've credit Bonus had a horrible throw
to start the game, then he was good the rest
of the way. The but the reason Dak and who's
played at an MVP colveral level prior to today, the
reason I'm going to say he's a bonus wote. He

half that prevent us from getting a chance at watching
Brandon Aubrey try a seventy yarder in that air in
the altitude, which I think they would have done, and
I would have liked to see that on a day

Washington also can run the ball. Kansas City's run defense
has been leaky. What does that mean? They can sustain drives?
Mariota can also use his legs, and that means you

can keep Mahomes on the sidelines. The Kansas City offense
is on the upswing. I get it, they have Rice
and Worthy back, but they will be without two starting
offensive linemen here, and I just think this is too
many points like this, This is a great Bilo Cell
high spot. This is a desperation spot for Washington, And

mainly I just think that this should probably be like
ten nine and a half, ten, not eleven and a half. Like,
Mariota can run this offense. The Washington defense is terrible,
but schematically they can get some pressure with Chiefs offensive
line issues, might be able to get a stop or

especially with their weapons back, and Mariota can. It's one
of the best backups in the league. He can run
this offense. And I like that they can run it.

know the third was and Tyler Johnson and they put
up five hundred and twenty yards come back from two
touchdowns down late Aaron Glenn, who always just looks frozen
on the sidelines like it's just like, oh my god,
this season, it just looks completely frozen. It makes the

get it, score. Joe Flacco goes into the locker room
to take a ship, comes out ships on the field.
I guess again and then but the offense was fine.
He played well, but it definitely under yards to that

came back a week ago. This week, Jalen Hurts had

fourth passing touchdowns. That's not even the story of their offense.
Saquon Barkley was unbelievable in today's game, and the Patriots
extend their winning streak to five games. Drake may looking
like a legit MVP candidate, stucky among those or others.
What was your biggest takeaway from the Sunday Action.
Speaker 5 (08:13):
Yeah, I don't know if the Eagles are all the
way back. I mean, the Giants rundy is horrific, and
then they had more cornerback injuries. Their cornerbacks were Banks,
who's unplayable, and Black, who just came up from the
practice squad. He's on the scout team. Like that is
as bad as you could ever have it in your secondary.
And the Giants guy had no money on the game.

The Giants got a horrendous whistle. They had a long
touchdown callback for an Opi which was complete horseshit, and
then hurts on four on another tush Bush clearly fumbled
the ball and they copped out with the forward progress.

The offensive pass interference was crazy too.

Yeah, yeah, I just said that was awful, Like it
awful call the tush push. Yeah, another play that the
rest box and the favor that led to another touchdown.
I mean, Eagles are the right side. But the Giants
were so beat up on defense. Their secondary was in shambles.
But then Scataboo going down. It's a shame the Giants
are cursed like Dart Scataboo neighbors. It would have been fun.

It's impressive like he went out there even after Skataboo,
got hurt, had a rushing touchdown, still trying to make
the receivers that he has left work. I would love
to get money on him as the offensive rookie of
the Year right now, but with what he's left to
work with, I just I can't get there.

Yeah, he's deer got hurt too. I mean, like the
lead he was, I mean, how many times can you
throw to Theo Johnson and Wanda Robinson and put up numbers.
It's a shame because the Giants were like there was
a little glimmer there, and then the Broncos meltdown and
then today more injuries so and then in regards to

the Patriots game, yeah, just not a great matchup for
the Browns just because they are passing offense is terrible.
And that's how you have to attack the Patriots. And
you can beat this Browns defense with explosive passes and
that's what Drake May does. His deep ball right now is.

And I mean the Patriots also got their run game going.
I mean the average over five yards carry close to

you thought that it said more about Will Campbell or
more about Miles Garrett today.

Probably a little bit of both. I mean, Garret can
embarrass rookies, but I mean the Patriots offensive line definitely
has issues. It's just it's a more credit to what
May has done in his deep ball this year and
his pocket awareness and his scrap anality, because like the
run game hasn't been there all year it was today.
The offensive line and the protection isn't great. It's not

like he has the best weapons in the league. So
he's definitely playing really well. Wasn't a great matchup for
the Browns and the Browns defense like it is. We've
seen it. We have a huge sample size. Now it's
night and day at home. They suffocate teams, doesn't matter
who you are on the road, it's just not the
same team. And then speaking of not the same teams, well,

it wasn't a great day of people that said there's
not a drop off between Rice Young and Andy Dalton.

the Falcons. A lot of people said, like, it's gonna

be an upgrade with Kirk Cousins. I know that Drake

That's one of the most shocking results of the year.
Miami winning thirty four to ten didn't even feel that close.
Like Tua had a really efficient day twenty to twenty

most surprising thing is this horrendous I know that the

career points spread wise. I know that the Falcons defense
had some injuries Diablo and Walker, a couple guys in
the front seven. But the Falcons offense, I know it

mean it is basically like Kyle Pitt showed up and
nobody else did anything. I mean, there's no Drake Lennon.
Darneld Mooney had one catch for eleven yards. That is
a horrendous Falcons loss. And they've been really good at home,
and we'll see on them because there might be an

back in London, because they're at the Patriots curious to

mainly I just think that this should probably be like
ten nine and a half, ten, not eleven and a half. Like,
Mariota can run this offense. The Washington defense is terrible,
but schematically they can get some pressure with Chiefs offensive

of the best backups in the league. He can run
