Speaker 1 (00:07):
We are back again, and it's like we're not even
gonna skip a beat because it's us, it's what we do.
And here we are talking about the Minnesota Vikings perfect
record to nobody surprise. You know, we talked about a
week after week Jake, and I'm not surprised by this.
(00:30):
I had the Minnesota Vikings going five and twelve, and
in that five and twelve record, I had them winning
the first five games of the season and then going
on a twelve game losing streak. So is exactly what
I predicted, and I'm expecting them to lose twelve straight games.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
Now, I'll be honest. When you started that, I thought
you were talking about the Links returning to the finals,
is what I thought you were talking about.
Speaker 3 (00:51):
This is a big deal.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
Did you see that the tim RULs had to reschedule
a preseason matchup?
Speaker 3 (00:57):
So what what?
Speaker 1 (00:59):
What is that secretly telling the Links that they didn't
believe that they'd make it into the NBA Final, the
w NBA Finals.
Speaker 2 (01:06):
Or that they're not going to sweep, Because I think
that's game I think it's game four that they had
to move. So I think if the Links sweep.
Speaker 3 (01:14):
It's best of five I'm pretty sure.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
Okay, I know that semi finals are bestified. I'mretty sure
the finals are still bestified, which seems weird at this
point with how like you know, popular with the w
NBA is at this point, it seems like you could
just do a best of seven?
Speaker 3 (01:29):
Right?
Speaker 1 (01:29):
Do you know any Links players like they're in the
last run of like Maya More, Lindsay Whalen, yep, Sylvia Files.
Maybe at the end there are some players some right,
Rebecca Bruntson, there's a lot. I could almost name the
entire starting lineup on the Minnesota Links back in the day.
(01:52):
I don't know if I know a single player on
the team right now.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
So yes, we could, so, Holly and I watched it
on Monday. We watched games. Okay, yeah, I mean everybody,
and I'm sure everybody knows the Feasta Collier.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
Yeah obviously, I honestly don't know her.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
Okay, she's our best player.
Speaker 3 (02:12):
What number is she? Twenty four?
Speaker 2 (02:15):
Okay, she's kind of a lanky, she's kind of a tall, skinny.
Speaker 3 (02:19):
I actually can picture her when she's.
Speaker 2 (02:22):
Kind of Yeah, she averaged like twenty points and ten
rebounds of games. She's a defensive player, of the Year
for the WNBA, So she's kind of our bread and butter.
But that was what because we were looking because obviously
we tuned in for the first Things game all year,
we didn't know anybody other than Callier and we were
looking up and we only drafted a couple of the
(02:43):
people that were like key contributors. The rest, like, we
recently signed three or four of the different rotation players
and starters just this year, So it was I think
it was kind of an you could go back and look,
but I'm pretty sure it's kind of a surprise that
this group like melded together to become a championship title
contender team, because I don't think it was, you know,
(03:06):
it was kind of a thrown together group that they
you know, have the Collier we drafted in twenty nineteen
and one of our other gals we kind of have
had for five or six years. But the rest were
all kind of they're all thirty thirty one to thirty
two year old people that we signed for just this year,
and they're you know, they've made it work. Our playing
guard is an absolute dog and it's Courtney Williams is
their name. She was just absolutely number ten. Yeah, she
(03:29):
was on fire and she was letting the crowd know
about it as she was watched.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
Yeah, fiery, fiery lady on the squad. Well, we need
to address the elephant in the room. And the elephant
in the room is the obvious question. And I know
you've been asked about it over and over and over again,
and I'm sure you're sick and tired of it. But
because you have ownership of this podcast just as much
(03:54):
as I do, we need to address it on this
podcast so that the public audience knows have you or
have you not accepted or declined to become the head
coach of the New York Football Jets.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
Well, well, I'd like to keep that confidential. We may
have a plan for the offseason, but you know, right now,
it's just not the right time.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
Sure, Okay, Well, they did bring in the interim head
coach right now, so he's going to be the interim
head coach for the rest of the season. But we
all know the ownership likes to discuss things behind closed
doors with other head coaches around the league. Of course,
a Bill Belichick comes to mind. Other coaches around the
league come to mind too that are not currently coaching,
(04:46):
but we all know that you're one of the top
names on their radar, especially.
Speaker 3 (04:51):
With what you've done.
Speaker 1 (04:54):
Throughout your high school middle school football coaching career. So
I just wanted to address it. It was clearly if
I didn't ask you, I know that I would have
received a lot of flak from the audience saying like,
why didn't you ask him the most obvious question. Yeah,
the question that everybody wants answered. So thank you for
addressing that.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
For being honest. The Jets, you know what kind of
future is that Rogers? This is last year. They don't
have a backup or any quarterback in waiting. Defense, looks
pretty decent. Offense, you got a couple of good skill guys,
but I don't know what right the most intasting job
of the history mankind probably.
Speaker 1 (05:32):
Plus your it's not as as fancy and as glamorous
as the state of New York is. With that comes
all the pressure, all the criticism. It's like I'd rather
coach a Tennessee Titans team than the New York Jets.
It's like you got the name, you got the place,
(05:53):
he got the owner. But with all of that comes
all of this extra pressure to deliver right away, and
Aaron Rodgers hasn't really been that good of a quarterback
all season long. Yeah, So I mean it's and then
who knows this is last year? Will he come back
next year? Like you said, the Jets' future does not
(06:14):
look very bright right now because who is going to
be their quarterback next year?
Speaker 3 (06:19):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (06:20):
But Vikings are five and zero. They're up seventeen zero
first quarter, up seventeen seven at halftime, end up winning
twenty three seventeen. Stefan Gilmore picks off Rogers late in
the game. Your takeaway, your biggest takeaway following the Vikings win.
Speaker 2 (06:41):
So this is the first time we saw Sam Darnald
look a little human. It might be partially because he
got that shot to the ribs early. You know, after that,
he seemed like he was kind of off. He was
missing some throws. I do enjoy it. You know, sometimes
you forget how stupid the internet can be. I listened
(07:03):
to your or Slash watched your other video from earlier
this week, and you were basically just saying Sam Darnold
cannot or was never gonna continue at this like insane
level of the first four games, like it was inevitable
that he'd have a bad game kind of thing. It's
never fall off a little bit.
Speaker 1 (07:21):
He's lighting the NFL touchdown passes, all the touchdowns, three picks.
Speaker 3 (07:25):
The next guy had eight touchdowns.
Speaker 2 (07:27):
Right, So your point was simply saying, like, he's not
gonna just continue at this like historic rate for a
guy who you know, as much as we've loved him,
Like he still has his pass right. We clear if
he was as good as a Mahomes type guy, he
would have figured it out with New York or Carolina
or something earlier. So he's not that kind of guy.
(07:49):
Doesn't mean he can't be great, but he's not like,
oh my gosh, generational, elite guy who's gonna be difference
making every year. So your point was simply saying, hey,
he's gonna he fell off the wagon a little bit.
He we still won, but you know he's not always
going to be perfect because that'd be unrealistic expectations. And
the amount of comments on your posts that were like
the enjoy the win and they're ripping you about things
(08:14):
you weren't even like arguing like you You weren't saying like,
oh this would sucks, like Sam Donald's done. You're just
saying like this is maybe a realistic expectation of what
the season will look like, where our defense wins the
game for us, effectively wins the game. Sam Donald does enough.
Some games, he'll look great, some games will look pretty pedestrian.
(08:35):
But it's can he be good enough with this defense to,
you know, win some games? And the answer is gonna
be yes. So that was your whole point. It's just
always bizarre to me what people get all fired up about.
It's like, you don't even I don't know.
Speaker 1 (08:49):
It's so funny because they'll say, enjoy the win. But
as soon as the Minnesota Vikings start losing or lose a.
Speaker 4 (08:57):
Game, oh, we suck Sam Donald, He's again do anything right.
What's going on of the Vikings where it does absolutely horrible. Well,
it's like, I'm not downplaying the Minnesota Vikings win, but
I'm just explaining to you what is going to happen.
And I've been explaining that for the first four weeks
of the season. I said, it's incredible how Sam Donald
(09:17):
is playing. There's no way that he's.
Speaker 1 (09:20):
Going to keep this up. So I gave it a
warning to Minnesota Vikings fans. A couple of weeks ago, like,
be prepared for the drop off, like it's not going
to continue at this historic pace all season long. And
I got craped for that one too, because it's like,
you're a negative Minnesota Viking. No, I'm just telling you
what's gonna happen next, right.
Speaker 2 (09:40):
Yeah, It's like you can be realistic and still be
excited and positive. Like yeah, again, it's just saying statistics
or odds. Right, You're like, we're not gonna go seventeen
to Oh, Donald's not gonna throw forty eight touchdowns in
eight kicks, like.
Speaker 3 (09:56):
And I still believe it.
Speaker 1 (09:57):
At some point, the Minnesota Viking are going to lose
some football games this year, and when they use some
football games this year, what's going to inevitably happen.
Speaker 3 (10:07):
The national media that's listed the Minnesota.
Speaker 1 (10:09):
Vikings number one in their power rankings are number two
in their power rankings, is going to drop them. And
then it's gonna shift to, well, this is the Sam
Donald that we knew in love with the Jets and Panthers,
and this is the reason why he's bounced from place
to place.
Speaker 2 (10:23):
So it's just whatever, Yeah, predictable, predictable that way where
the reactions are going to be predictable, right, But no,
So back to this current game, he did enough, he
would didn't look great. Still when we needed a drive,
he got that field goal drive. But yeah, I think
I mean, aside from Donald the first five weeks, I
(10:43):
think the defense is by far the number one factor
as to why we are five to zero. I mean,
the amount of pressures we are generating, the you know, interceptions,
the turnovers are generating, the sacks were generating. I haven't
looked at the NFL stats, are just thinking, but I
got it. Imagine where we were close to first, if
not still first in sacks turnovers Wise, we got to
(11:05):
be up there towards the top two. I mean, we
are just forcing deeper offenses to be uncomfortable and confused
every time they're at the line. They just seem well,
maybe put it this way, is there a more well
coached offense or defense in the league? As a combo?
There might be a defense that's out, you know, being
(11:27):
more prepared. There might be an offensive more prayer. But
the combo of koc and Brian Flores, I mean, they
seem like they have the game plan is perfected. They are.
Speaker 3 (11:42):
Could be better are the Chiefs.
Speaker 2 (11:44):
I mean yeah, potentially, right, especially offensively, but even they
you know, their offense is not I mean they've scored
less points in the Vikings. They have not looked as
good an offense. Right, There's they're sneaking out with like
three point wins and Mahomes is not having good stats,
and you know it's grand. They have a couple of injuries,
but so you know, the Vikings have two. So I
just between offense and defense, probably not special teams, but
(12:06):
offense and defense. Our kicker, though our kicker is legit, Yeah,
just seemed to have some weird punt stuff and I
don't know.
Speaker 1 (12:13):
Yeah, it's like multiple times this year the Jalen Naylor
whiff against the Packers when Brandon Paul got hurt, got
guys running.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
Into your punter and just some weird stuff. That's can
clean that up, but yeah, I don't know. It just
seems to think Flores has these guys absolutely dialed in.
We know what other offenses are going to do, even
more than the average defense knows what they're going to do.
Because I see everybody watch this film and everyone prepares
and blah blah blah blah blah, but the way Flores
has these guys playing it, I don't know. If there's
(12:42):
a better unit out there in terms of preparation, then
Kosi is right there with them.
Speaker 3 (12:47):
Right and I would agree with that.
Speaker 1 (12:49):
But what's so cool about what you just said is
that you look at the best defenders in the league
just individually, the Bosas of the world, the Fred Warners
of the world, and the Minnesota Vikings have none of them.
You know, It's not like they have this superstar studded
(13:09):
defensive front where it's just like, oh, you better watch
out for Bosa.
Speaker 3 (13:13):
You know, he's gonna wreck your day.
Speaker 1 (13:16):
You've got a bunch of good players, not great players,
but they're good players that can play multiple positions defensively,
like a Josh Mntellis, like a Van Ginkel who's had
two pick six's already this season. Greener can do multiple things,
Harrison Smith. All of these guys defensively can play multiple positions.
(13:37):
So even though they're not the best players in the
NFL collectively, they've been so good at wrecking opposing NFL quarterbacks.
And what always interests me about what the Minnesota Vikings
are doing defensively is why don't other teams mimic what
(13:58):
the Vikings do defensively.
Speaker 2 (14:01):
Yeah, would imagine it's just well, one, you got to
know it as a coach, right right, and then you
got to know how to install it. That I mean
that takes knowledge and experience. You know, if you've never
encountered that system, you can't I mean, yes, you can
watch it, but you don't know all the rules. You
don't know how they teach the rules. You don't know
how they you know, the calls and the checks and
(14:22):
all that stuff like that make it usable. You know,
you know, you might be able to make it up obviously,
but if if you're trying to copy it like it's
hard to do, and then you need the personnel. I mean,
there's a reason that we got rid of Daniel Hunter.
He is not a drop back into coverage three four linebacker, right.
He would he did it, and he was okay at
it because he was just a good athlete and kind
(14:43):
of figured it out a little bit. But for Flores,
it's not the kind of d ND he wanted. They're
outside linebacker, right. He needed somebody that was a little
more agile. The Van Ginkel's, the Grenards, even Dallas Turner
is that style of build where he's not this elite
you know, just straight up pass especially that's all he
can do. He's more of a you know, twitchy athlete
(15:04):
who can step back into coverage if he needs to
do that kind of stuff. So I think the biggest
because I think the difference between the Vikings of you know,
original Brian Forest to now is again all those personnel
changes that make it more usable, you know, make this
defense actually kind of click because sometimes you see do
some of the same things the Vikings are doing, right
that double mug, you know, at the pressure there. You know,
(15:27):
what was it the I remember which game I was watching,
Maybe was the Chiefs game, I think it was, But
they had like nine guys like on the line, like
all across like where the old line was, and it
was like, you know, trying to figure and then that,
you know, half of them drop back into coverage to
different places, you know, but just things to confuse the
offenses and who's going where and who's blitzing and who
(15:49):
you know, you just don't know those things, you know.
But they talked about I mean again the film prep,
like Van Ginkle said, like I knew they were going
to throw that route because that's Rogers blind spot, thrown
that multiple times this year out of that exact look.
So I gave them one step in like I was
going and then I ran out of there, you know.
And then the Harrison Smith stack too, was a film sack.
(16:12):
They knew against that look with the offensive line, how
they're going to block it, and Harrison Smith just went
and got them. So it's like, you know, they are
seemingly it's they're as prepared as anybody in the NFL.
Speaker 3 (16:24):
Is right now. Yeah, we can't argue that either.
Speaker 1 (16:28):
It is with the way that they're performing against the
I mean, the Packers got some garbage points at the
end of the game and made some runs, but some
of that was due to a Sam Donald turnover at
the end of the game that gave the Packers an
easy field and the punt muff which gave the Packers
an easy field to score some points. So that was
a big part of the why they got back into
that football game. The next matchup against it is against
(16:52):
the Detroit Lions, and one of the reels that I
posted to my Facebook, I said something about the Lions.
Speaker 3 (17:05):
Exactly.
Speaker 1 (17:06):
You see that it's more on those three and one
not foreign one.
Speaker 3 (17:11):
What an idiot?
Speaker 2 (17:12):
Okay, my bad.
Speaker 3 (17:15):
It's like it's so funny. I misspeak.
Speaker 1 (17:19):
I say there are four and one, not three and one,
and I just get trash.
Speaker 2 (17:24):
It's such a weird thing. Never in my entire life
would I ever the idea of commenting on random posts
like that. Yeah, I just I'm never once considered. I've
never once watched a video and thought I should comment
on this, whether it's good or especially like I'm gonna
rip this person that I don't know on this video.
Speaker 1 (17:45):
Yeah, Ricardo Rodriguez one day ago, lions are three and one,
dumb ass.
Speaker 2 (17:52):
I just think I've never once considered doing that. Like
when I mean, I know you, it's different. I've seen
this case, but I heard you say there. I'm like, oh,
I think, like, why why don't people react like that?
Speaker 1 (18:06):
And there's like five or six or seven people mate?
Maybe that just like said the exact same thing.
Speaker 2 (18:12):
It's just such a weird people feeling the need to
comment on posts is just especially when it's negative. Positive
makes more sense. But it's like, oh yeah, I agree,
or they want to have a dialogue. Right when people
rip just to rip, it's like, why don't you just
like think that in your brain and then just move
on with your life, Like right, most normal people do exactly.
Speaker 1 (18:33):
Anyway, I keep on commenting. It drives the views and
drives the viewerships.
Speaker 3 (18:37):
You just keep on doing it.
Speaker 2 (18:38):
True, I mean that was your probably based on it.
Look like there's one of your more viewed ones that
you've had in a while.
Speaker 1 (18:42):
So yeah, it's been good. So the Alliance is the
next matchup. They're coming out of their bye week, the
Vikings three and three and one Lions versus the four
and o Minnesota Vikings. But, uh, do you think the
Lions are even though we have the better record, do
(19:05):
you think the Lions are better than the Minnesota Vikings
right now?
Speaker 2 (19:08):
Well, I'll say this about the Lions. When you have
a generational quarterback like Matt Stafford and a generational receival
like Calvin Johnson.
Speaker 3 (19:21):
You can ever roll about, right, you.
Speaker 2 (19:22):
Can't ever roll them out no matter what Brian Floor is.
The defense is drawing up their scheming.
Speaker 1 (19:29):
Hopefully Matthew Stafford turns his ankle. Not that I'm ruining
for an injury, but hopefully he turns his ankle, and
then Dan Orlovsky has to step in for the lines
of their backup.
Speaker 2 (19:38):
We've seen him against the Vikings. It's not good. Yeah,
anytime Dan Rofsky has to take a snap, it's good
news for the Vikings. So yeah, maybe hope. I mean
Stafford is getting you know, he's only thirty, so I guess.
Speaker 3 (19:50):
He's for Barry Sanders on the backfield.
Speaker 2 (19:53):
Yeah, you never know what Barry Sanders, but if Jared
Allen can generate enough pressure, each Henderson has been looking good.
Speaker 3 (20:02):
What do you think about their head coach, Matt Patricia.
Speaker 2 (20:05):
Yeah, I think he's been solid. He's at that kind
of the big beard and probably has the pencil in
his ear.
Speaker 3 (20:18):
Even though it's even though its call she's laminated.
Speaker 2 (20:21):
Yeah, he coached through a His era was pretty bad.
I don't remember anything about his era, not that Lions
fan or anything, but just nothing important happened when he
was the coach. Now watching they did something important, but
don't fact check that out us.
Speaker 4 (20:37):
No.
Speaker 3 (20:38):
Actually, actually they were better than They made the.
Speaker 2 (20:42):
First playoffs for the first time in fifteen years under
member great the actual alliance, I mean Goffin Amenro. Obviously,
their offense is elite gamery. They've looked good. Who was
(21:03):
there their loss? I'm blinking, let.
Speaker 3 (21:07):
Me look it up.
Speaker 1 (21:10):
Yeah, Hudginson defensively correct. They lost to Tampa Bay.
Speaker 2 (21:15):
Oh yeah, that was kind of a weird one. Yeah,
I don't know. Tampa Bay is a weird team. I
don't know, horrible.
Speaker 3 (21:24):
Yeah, it's hard. They made the playoffs last year.
Speaker 2 (21:26):
But also it was the same thing where like, are
they good and then they beat the Eagles in the
playoffs in the first round is like, I don't know,
and then they could have won the second but anyway, No,
it's I mean, this is the team that everyone thought
would win the division. They still win the division. It
should be a fun game. We're home, which I like that,
Which I like that.
Speaker 1 (21:47):
I still somewhat believe that the Detroit Lions are a
better football team than the Minnesota Vikings, even though we're.
Speaker 3 (21:53):
Five and h We've got a good resume too.
Speaker 1 (21:56):
We beat the Packers on the road to beat the Niners,
we beat the Texans. But if I had to pick
between the Lions and the Minnesota Vikings, I'd probably picked
the Detroit Lions.
Speaker 2 (22:07):
Yeah, I mean, Goff is kind of like a little Donaldy, right.
He has not been great this year. No, I should
say Donaldy like previous Donaldy, you know, he has not
been the elite to golf that he had been kind
of last year, where he was airing the ball and
throwing for three hundred and some yards a game and
lead the league in passing, has not been that guy
this year. He has had a rough road to start
(22:29):
the year. They've gotten this done, I mean, compared to
what he did last year, anyway, I don't. I mean
you could look up his stat I don't know. He
might still be like top fifteen or top ten in
some of those categories, but sure where last year he
was like leading the league in passing.
Speaker 3 (22:43):
Five touchdowns four picks isn't great.
Speaker 2 (22:45):
No, Yeah, And part of the reason I only know
that is because I have him in my Dynasty Fantasyague.
Speaker 3 (22:53):
Comp time touchdowns, four picks doesn't tear it up.
Speaker 2 (22:56):
No, But again, part of it is to run the
ball well. Still. Again, Montgomery and Gibbs have both been elite,
so no, I mean they're very similar to the Vikings,
I think in terms of quality. They have a quarterback
who's kind of up and down. Obviously God's more proven
than Darnold, but at the end of the day, it's
still Jared Goff. You're not talking about the Mahomes or Lamar.
They have skilled position guys that are pretty good. Their
(23:18):
lines is solid, their defense is frisky, makes some plays happen.
So I think it's a fifty to fifty kin of
game at this point. Not formidable Adam right, even though
SADDI guys suppose it is. For I mean, they're a
formidable opponent. But yeah, it's a It's a toss up
at a home game, so it should be fun.
Speaker 1 (23:37):
They play at Dallas on Sunday. That'll be a good game.
Detroit does, yeah, I'll say a lot. So Dallas three
and two lines are three and one on the road.
We'll see what happens in that football game. But the
Minnesota Vikings five and zero short Lions, what are they?
Speaker 3 (23:55):
Four and one? Five one?
Speaker 2 (23:58):
I think something like that, Yeah, maybe.
Speaker 3 (24:00):
Yeah, something something like that. Doesn't really matter.
Speaker 1 (24:02):
But anything else that you wanted to break down from
the Vikings game tape from the Vikings, anything else that
we didn't get to, I don't think so.
Speaker 2 (24:12):
I think we kind of covered the main stuff. Hockinson
should be come back the next hopefully maybe the Lions game,
probably not, but the one after that, So it'd be
nice to get a weapon back. We have basically not
thrown to the tight end at all. That's going to
help Donald because he's you know a lot of those
safety routes will be t. J. Hockinson and that makes
a big difference. So that'll be a huge addition. Right,
(24:32):
are you expecting Aaron Jones?
Speaker 1 (24:37):
Yeah, it sounds like it's a week to week injury,
so it doesn't sound like it's as concerning as everybody thinks.
Speaker 2 (24:41):
Because I would have been four weeks automatic, which that
means they think it's less than four weeks.
Speaker 1 (24:47):
Yeah, ty, Chandler really did not play well against the
Jets of he had the big cough up which really
actually led to the Van Ginklled touchdown, So maybe he
did it on purpose.
Speaker 2 (24:56):
Yeah, I mean they were desperate. They started put like
mile gap miles got a few carries and yeah, yeah
they were. They were looking for answers other than Chandler,
So we'll see. I mean, I mean, it's amazing how
valuable Aaron Jones is to this offense.
Speaker 3 (25:09):
Right.
Speaker 1 (25:09):
It seems like if he misses the week, it will
just be one, right, and I think one of the
biggest takeaways from this Jets game is that, you know,
even though the Minnesota Vikings bye week is early, and
sometimes you like that mid season or near the end
of the season for like that last push into the playoffs,
to get that rest before that last push.
Speaker 3 (25:30):
The bye we couldn't have come at a better time.
Speaker 1 (25:32):
With the Aaron Jones injury, with the offense stuttering a
little bit against the Jets. Now you have things to
work on. Now you have things to look at. Now
you have time to get your running back healthy, and
even Sam Darnold healthy, who's been nicked up a couple
of times. So that's a big benefit for the Vikings.
Speaker 2 (25:55):
Right after starting five. And it's kind of nice to
take a breather and just relax a little bit and
just kind of reset, you know, just like they. I
feel like it's been kind of a sprint to get
to this record, and now you know, now the real
work begins after this bye week.
Speaker 3 (26:10):
So totally yeah.
Speaker 1 (26:12):
Well, Jacob, thank you as always for your dedication and
love for the game.
Speaker 2 (26:16):
Thank you, friend. Wish me luck against our good friend
mister finkleson tonight.
Speaker 1 (26:21):
Yes, little rivalry crosstown rivalry reaction.
Speaker 3 (26:25):
Litchfield versus Watertown? Where is it?
Speaker 1 (26:28):
Where's the game that Litchfield at Litchfield's a big home field.
Speaker 2 (26:31):
Advantage, home game, last home game of the area.
Speaker 1 (26:33):
Where was the game two years ago when you beat him?
Was that Litchfield at Litchfield?
Speaker 2 (26:37):
Okay, Finkleston canceled last year because it was a little
rainy and he was nervous he's gonna lose, so well
that makes sense.
Speaker 1 (26:44):
Yeah, also protecting the little pride that he has left,
is is Litchfield Watertown becoming a little bit like the
Vikings always playing on the road at Seattle.
Speaker 3 (26:57):
Does Litchfield ever go on the road against water too?
Speaker 2 (27:00):
Don't know, man, No, we don't. That's my plan next
year we'll cancel again.
Speaker 3 (27:04):
Yeah the twelfth Man. Yeah you guys got that twelf man?
Speaker 2 (27:08):
Yeah, yeah, at the eighth grade football game. There's a
thousand people there.
Speaker 5 (27:11):
Yeah yeah, well, I know we'll all have an excitement
waiting for that next pod to drop with you to
recap this game.
Speaker 2 (27:25):
I suppose on the bye week, and that's the only
football happened as far as we're concerned.
Speaker 3 (27:29):
So yeah, it would be a big game.
Speaker 1 (27:31):
Well Jacob, thank you as always for your time, your
dedication and love.
Speaker 3 (27:35):
For the game.
Speaker 2 (27:36):
Thank you, friend, you
