Speaker 1 (00:00):
I need to tell you about five Star Bath Solutions
of Minneapolis. My wife and I needed a bathroom remodel
done badly. Our bathroom was disgusting. But here's the deal.
We didn't want to wait six weeks. We didn't all
want to stuff into our downstairs bathroom where we had
(00:22):
to pile up and pile in. We didn't want to
have to stop using an area of our house that
we literally use every day for six weeks. So then
we found five Star Bath Solutions of Minneapolis, and they
remodeled our full bathroom in forty eight hours and it
(00:46):
is updated, it is modern. Take a look for yourself
if you're watching on YouTube our bathroom prior, ugly floors,
nasty color, moldy shower, slippery tub, one sink, disgusting looking vanity,
(01:07):
and voila forty eight hours later, new floor, new bathroom,
new shower surround, a double sink, and a new vanity.
Sure it was an investment, but when you put something
into your kitchen or your bathroom, you get that money back.
(01:28):
And we got our bathroom back in forty eight hours.
Five Star Bath Solutions of Minneapolis will get the job
done right, and we'll get the job done fast. There's
really no other better option. Five Star Baths Solutions of Minneapolis.

(02:15):
the week. Got some good topics to talk about today
because Minnesota Vikings General manager Quesciedofo Mensa took the podium
yesterday and answered numerous questions about the Minnesota Vikings draft
(02:36):
strategy and the Minnesota Vikings plan at a position that
hasn't really been talked about very much, or maybe there's
a different way to put that. It hasn't really been
(02:56):
pashed as much from the minutes of Vikings managerial side.
But today is Friday, and we started a very special
segment last week, and the special segment last week was
crapping on Minnesota. Tim. Now for the caveat these comments
(03:21):
don't bother me, which is why we're making it a segment.
I think it's hilarious and I would never ever be
bothered by comments from people that I don't know. The
comments that I care about are from people that I
do know. Constructive criticism. I care about those on how
it can become better from my wife, care about that one, obviously,
(03:46):
care about comments from my bosses, stuff like that. But
when you get random Joe Schmoe's commenting across your Facebook channel,
that's actually a good thing for business because then it
drives views and drives attention, which drives dollars. So I
don't mind that at all. Uh, But let's dive into it.
Crapping on Minnesota Tim Jim Shoe was hot last week.
(04:14):
He was really taking the bowl by the horns and
really dedicating himself to winning this award. However, the problem
with what Jim Shue is doing is that his creative
game isn't strong enough. Here you can see him say dumbass,
(04:37):
which is his go to. It's like Tim Duncan's baking shot.
It's like Adrianne Peterson's stiff arm. Jim Shoe has perfected
the dumb ass comment. Let's take a look at another one.
Jim Shoe again, m dumbass I'm very surprising there, totally
(04:59):
expected it. Oh was this coming from Jim Shue? Dumb ass? Jeah.
And I will give him a little credit here because
on this comment he says, super dumbass. That's very creative,
very creative. He took the time to add an extra comment.
And we're gonna get to some ever with other ones
(05:20):
in a second, because I saw another one the other
day that was pretty good. It's just it's just gonna
take me a moment to find it. John Milk says,
that's a terrible take. I said, thanks, John, and then
he continues. He says, you're welcome. The truth is, Vikings
(05:41):
fans love Randy Moss and we're praying for him when
he was battling cancer and he has been retired for years.
Vikings fans love Adam Thielen, who now plays for the Panthers.
Vikings fans love Harrison Smith and were praying he would
come back for one more season. It's not about what
they do on the field, but what they do off
the field and the people in the locker room and
the culture. Why do so many players say they love
playing for the Vikings because of the fans and they
love playing for the US Bank Stadium. I'm and that's
(06:03):
a response to my poet that I said, we don't
really love professional athletes. We love what professional athletes give
the sports team that we root for. And I still
think that's true. His comment doesn't change my opinion whatsoever.
We would not be praying for Randy Moss if Randy
Moss was a bust and we didn't even know a
(06:25):
single thing about Randy Moss. Randy Moss was a sensational
football player. Randy Moss was on ESPN Countdown he was
diagnosed with cancer, and because he was a sensational football
player for the Vikings, we love Randy Moss and we're
praying for Randy Moss. It all comes back to how
they play on the field. My opinion doesn't change. I
(06:46):
saw another comment, somebody give this man a drink of water.
Holy shiit, I said, sorry, I drink my own piss.
I don't know why wrote that. That guy says, don't
do that, homie, just get something to drink. I don't
(07:06):
know what is he doing. So about too many comments
this week, David O'Connor, So you think he wasn't a
good football player, I take it you're kind of an idiot.
That's all right, that's all right. But it's the NFL
offseason and most of my content revolves around the Minnesota Vikings.
(07:28):
So I'm sure we'll get more up and at it
as the season gets closer, and we'll get more creative
comments or we're gonna talk about it. But as far
as the winner this week, and now, Jim Shoe wants
to win. And what's so fascinating about Jim Shoe is
that we went to school together. Well, we didn't go
(07:50):
to school together. We went to the same college. I've
clicked on his profile and said Minnesota State Community and
Technical College. I went to Minnesota State Community and Technical
College in Ferguson Alls, Minnesota. So I commented, I said,
I'm so surprised that I'm getting these comments from a
guy that I went to the same school. Ass And
he didn't respond, but he stayed connected and stayed uh.
(08:15):
He persevered through that comment and would not fall by
the wayside, which I respect. I respect that comment. I
think the winner of the crapping on Minnesota Tim's segment
this week is going to go to Scott Rinkert. Somebody
(08:35):
get this man a drink of water. Holy s Hi, T,
I think that's fun. It's a little different. And then
the response, sorry, I drink my own piss. And then
he says, don't do that, homie, just get something to drink.
I think that one's kind of fun. So Scott Rehn
Kurt Wins crap it on Minnesota tim this week Scott Scott,
(08:57):
Scott got Scott, Scott Scott's got okay. So Minnesota Vikings
backup quarterback plan. Quesado minsa eight comments about it at
(09:20):
his press conference, and I'm gonna read those comments, says well,
this tweek comes from Kevin Seffert says, promise I have
some draft stuff coming soon. From a semi news standpoint,
Quessey did say that the delay in adding QB depth
hasn't only been about the COMPIC situation. And with the
(09:46):
COMPIC situation, if the Vikings weigh a certain amount of
time to grab and snag a backup quarterback, then they
don't have to forfeit a pick next year, which has
been allegedly a part of the theory on why the
Vikings have not snagged a backup quarterback yet. And there's
(10:10):
a report yesterday that came out that the Minnesota Vikings
could potentially be interested in Raiders backup quarterback Aiden O'Connell
after the Raiders traded for Genal Smith to make him
his their starter. And my question is this, if it's
not about the COMPIC formula in the draft next year,
(10:35):
then what is it about? Because the Minnesota Vikings let
the best backup quarterbacks off the board, And if they're
not interested in Aaron Rodgers, which the story has died recently,
and the only way that it becomes revived is if
(10:58):
McCarthy really stinks it up in training camp or in
OTAs for weeks and uh or he gets hurt. So
the Aaron Rodgers story is dead unless McCarthy really stinks
up the joint. So, if it's not about Aaron Rodgers,
(11:19):
and if it's not entirely about the COMPIC formula, then
why did you let the Gardner Minshews and the mac
joneses and the best backup quarterbacks walk and sign with
other teams without even putting up a fight. It really
makes no sense if it's not about the COMPIC formula.
The Vikings considered bringing back Sam Darnold and Lowell Baldom.
(11:43):
The Vikings did offer Daniel Jones and he's signed somewhere
else and then the Vikings rescinded their offer. So it's
not like they didn't want other quarterbacks on their roster.
They explored those options. So if it's not about the
(12:03):
compic formula, then I don't understand any part of the
Minnesota Vikings offseason plan at backup quarterback because the fact
is is that McCarthy has never played a single NFL
(12:23):
snap in the regular season, and the fact is that
McCarthy has not played or taken physical practice reps for
almost a year. So if it's not about that, then
what is the point of waiting this long to get
(12:48):
a guy that can be a capable backup in case
the worst situation happens. It's confusing to me and I
don't understand it at all. Maybe you understand it. I don't,
because why would you let the best backup quarterbacks walk
(13:11):
and sign elsewhere without putting up a fight when it's
not like you got Aaron Rodgers in his prime at
your quarterback position right now. It's not like you got
this super durable quarterback that you can trust for the
entire season to stay healthy. Because we don't even know
he missed his entire rookie season. We don't know how
(13:32):
he's gonna play in the NFL next year. I mean,
the Vikings are very hopeful. He's been in the building
every day. The guy loves football, so things are aligning
like he's going to play well. But you have to
factor in the possibility of injury. And if McCarthy goes
(13:58):
down with another injury, do you just want to throw
away the entire season unless you're waiting this long for
Aaron Rodgers to step in and take charge. If McCarthy
does go down with an injury, it's a little risky
to me. And I've seen arguments online that say how
(14:26):
valuable or invaluable the backup quarterback is. But you go
back to twenty seventeen case Keenum's year, and that's all
the proof you need to prove just how valuable a
backup quarterback is on an NFL roster Because it takes
(14:46):
one hit, one miss block, one opposite lineman rolling over
McCarthy's knee for this season to be in major jeopardy.
And is that what you want? I don't really think so.
And then you're gonna call off the bench Ryan Tannehill
or Aiden O'Connell or some other option when you could
(15:11):
have been in the running for a legitimate backup quarterback
like Gardner Minshew or even Mac Jones. So I don't
fully get it, but I'm just a podcaster doing crapping
(15:32):
on Minnesota Tim segments. So maybe you understand it. Maybe
you can share in the comments section what the Vikings
Planet quarterback is if it doesn't entirely revolve around the
compic formula, or maybe the Vikings are just lying like
they always do at the podium. That's always a consideration too.
