seven coming up. We're gonna discuss the Jamal Murray disaster
class the upcoming game six is. But first we are
hosted by Dragonfly Jones aka.

Speaker 3 (01:45):
Tyler, Hey, everybody have a gun, and with Jethro Jenkins
aka John was that Bubbas? I know you read all
that shit. You wrote that shit down, man. Of course
I read it. Of course I wrote it down. Of
course I wrote it down here.

Speaker 6 (01:56):
As you guys can probably tell, I am not Mike
Guarded Bassia normal host.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
He is. I'm filling in for Mike as host of.

Speaker 6 (02:03):
This episode co host of this episode because his son
has a playoff baseball game that year.

Speaker 7 (02:09):
Results live texted to us. It's a one one run game.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
What what? What? What inning is it? You said it?
They were down eight two and now it's eight seven
of the fourth. Oh wow, okay, this is a little more.
They're supposed to smack this team up, though he said.
That's what he said. You never know what some kids. Gee,
you feel me. Hope they pulled it off. Though, hope
they pull it off.

Speaker 7 (02:29):
There's a chance Mike swoops in laying this episode.

Speaker 6 (02:31):
Either either way, he will be back next next episode,
and I'm sure he will return like Mike Conley did
tonight for the Timberwolves. So thank you, thank you. You're
trying to do my best guard to Bassio impersonation. Let's
start here, though, gentlemen, John, I have one question for you.
Do we and mostly you? Oh Rudy Gobert.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
In apology, I will say this, he looked great today.
But what was different was they kept him out of space.
He wasn't the prime married defender on Joker. They had
nas reed to had cat on him like we saw
he had the had cat on him with two files
and then the second half and then and then when
when he got the file, they had nads jump on him.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
It's just I'm really hard on Rudy because I just
don't like him, you know what i mean. I'm gonna
keep it a bee, which I'm gonna keep it a bee,
which you know, he gets on my nerves. He frustrates me,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
I've never liked players who are in the league who
play basketball just because of the size.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
But I mean, he is seven three, and it does
benefit him, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
Like when he makes mistakes guarding somebody, he can recover well.
He's great at the rim, and he gets a lot
of rebounds, you know what I mean. That's very important,
you know what I mean. But uh, he's just not
the person that's gonna be able to guard somebody out
in the perimeter like that in space. But today, even
when he did have to guard Saw with Guarden Aaron Gordon,
he made good decisions, stayed on his feet, moved his

(03:50):
feet well.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
So he I'll give him his credit.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
He looked good today, but he wasn't the primary defender,
So I'll give that to coaching too. There's no like
the fist player year and all that. But what he's
good at is within that five feet of the rim.
Keep him narrative and he can be dominant, you know
what I'm saying. And so yeah, I'll say, you know, sorry,
fuck nigga, apologize. Shit, you know what I mean, that
nigga seven foot that they beat me up from across

(04:14):
the room.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
You know what I'm saying. So sorry, and mister go beart,
I apologize.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
Yeah, you know, like like you know, I felt like
I was screaming into the best and I was like,
we might have to shoot Rudy some some baire last
game because I feel like he caught a roy deal
on the matches, like you said, you know what I'm saying,
Like no one is able to lock down Yo one
on one, I mean the last game, like like we
didn't expect him to lock yokyshown. We don't expect anyone
to lock Yoky down. But granted, he didn't even pinch

(04:41):
the bitch last week, right, Like he didn't slow him
down at all.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
Right, Right, so so I'm not letting Rudy off the
hook there.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
But you know, it's like we've discussed before, like Tim
Connley built for the Nuggets and he saw how the
Lakers gave him trouble.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
He knows.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
The formula is, you gotta have you gotta have a
couple seven foots out there at the time. You gotta
have one guy who's gonna be primary on on your
and another big guy playing free safety. Which is which
is the plan that they, you know, differentiated from last
game when they had like Rudy, you know, locking up
with him. But you know, they they went back to
that tonight and we saw, we saw how how the
game went for them, right, So so yeah, man, like

(05:14):
like I am on the side of Rudy doesn't ever
just need another defensive Player of the Year award fours enough, bro,
it might be like two too many in that motherfucker.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
But I do think that he caught a raw deal
last game. Man.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
Nobody's gonna, you know, guard Joker. It's impossible. And when
he's playing that way, nobody guards him. But we saw
him getting cooked in the ways we've seen him cook
before in space, you.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
Know what I mean. And for me, it's I get I.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
Don't think I don't know Rudy Gobert. I don't think
I'm just likeing for is that weird shit that happened
with COVID. But dude, you know what I'm saying, who
nobody knew it was gonna be what it was. I mean,
he caught a raw deal there too. I mean, that's
a horrible look, but it's an accident. You feel what
I'm saying. Jesus done. But yeah, I think like I think,
like we it's it's just really hard for me that
he's has four Defensive Player of the Years and he's

(06:02):
he's really good in one area, but can get played
off the court in another area, you know what I'm saying,
on the defensive end, and we see guys who are
great at the cup, like Wimby, like ad who also
are good in space as well, you know what I mean.
And so like, that's what's frustrated with me, Rudy Gobert.
It's not Rudy Gobert's fault that I'm frustrated.

Speaker 3 (06:21):
With him, you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
I mean, he's good at what he's supposed to do,
but yeah, he was having to do a lot of
things that he's not supposed to be doing, which is
guarding the best player in the world at the three
point line. The fuck is anybody gonna do with that?
You know what I mean, So yes, you know he
was good.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
He got a raw dude. I was talking a lot
of shit.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
I was really frustrated, and I was bummed out that
they got cooked a gid for the third time in
the row. But yeah, I feel a little better, so
you know, like I said, all right, mister Gobert.

Speaker 6 (06:47):
I have two brief Mike related updates. One is Diego
in the chat said Damn, Mike is such a rudy
hater that he wouldn't be on the pod after the
w and I actually forgot Mike wanted me to make
that joke, and I not as good of a host
as Mike is, so Diego, thank you for catching my mistake.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
And the second one.

Speaker 6 (07:05):
Is that Mike said that they Vinny Team tied it
up in the fourth and then just went up nine
to eight going into the last thing, so they got
to get three outs advance to the next game in
the playoffs.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
Let's go, let's go. Next.

Speaker 6 (07:21):
Question about this game though it seems like and they
were talking about it on the broadcast tonight a lot,
how there's what can you take from one game to
the next in a playoff series. We've seen it across
playoff series. We've seen it in this playoff series. Sometimes
a blowout in one game doesn't necessarily sometimes it can
mean winning the next game, but it doesn't necessarily mean
that Denver's going home.

Speaker 7 (07:42):
It feels like the consensus online is.

Speaker 6 (07:44):
That the Nuggets are are we're putting him in pen
not even in pencil winning in game seven.

Speaker 3 (07:49):
But do you how do you guys feel about it?

Speaker 1 (07:53):
Yeah, I mean thurely impressed with the with the Wolves
and Night not taking anything away from them, but it
doesn't change child, I'm feeling about the serious it was.
It was one of those games where one team was
clicking on all cinders and the other team couldn't get
shit working right. Like you know, those games happened, and
you know, I have to have the Nuggets winning tonight.
I thought they were gonna win in six, but you know,
Nuggets at home, you know that heart of the championship

(08:16):
is gonna, you know, come out again.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
I believe. So I still got the Nuggets winning in
advancing area. I think the Nuggets will win it.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
But what I will say is that I don't think
we were talking about this before we got on, Like
we talked about how the Nuggets best is better than
everybody else's.

Speaker 3 (08:30):
I don't know if the Timberwolves.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
Best it's that much before behind the Nuggets best, if
you know, it could be about even when they're both,
they're just younger, so they're not as consistent. You know,
you were saying, like when Cat was going, At wasn't going.
Aunt was going, Cat wasn't going. You know, that doesn't
happen as much with the Nuggets. The people that are
supposed to do what they're supposed to do do it.
You know what I'm saying on the Nugget team, because
they have the experience and they're older.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
But what I will say is there's certain things that
were repeatable.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
Bro, like the way Ann approach the double team, you
know what I mean, where he was way more patient
and decisively attacked it. We were talking about how that
double team is really tough. You know what I'm saying,
it's a hard double to make it enfortunate in their offense.
And then he wouldn't see the ball back. But when
he dig get the ball back in the first game,
he could be able to move and so he got
the ball back.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
Get after getting rid.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
Of the ball, and the double team softened a little bit,
you know what I'm saying, So they so he was
much more patient in that way. And also like how
they attacked like KCP Bro, they made case Casey's a
great defender, but I mean their size makes it truck.
He's not gonna guard nas Read or Cat in the paint,
but he was forced to with Hot with the ball movement,
and so I think that's very fucking repeatable.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
You know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
And also in the game last year we got twenty
seven from Aaron Aaron Gordon, which can happen.

Speaker 3 (09:38):
We saw that in last last year.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
Also saw like Bron was like hitting big shots for
m That's not gonna happen consistently. So I don't know, man,
like the players that were going were going off today,
you know what I'm saying, This is what they do,
you know what I mean. Like McDaniels was playing under
what he normally plays like, you know what I mean.
Conley did Conley shit and was hurt for part, like
part of the third quarter, play most of the fourth

(10:01):
and did a shit when he was out there, and
Kat looked like Cat playing confidently.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
So I don't know, Bro likes it's a.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
Very repeatable game, I don't think they'll get the same
game from the Nuggets again, but uh, I think if
the Nuggets come out humming, I still think they had
what they played the same way they did, approach the
game the same way they did that the Timberwards could
definitely beat them for sure. Bro, you know what I mean.
I think this team is really really good. They're just young,
so you don't know what you get it from night tonight.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
Like, like I said, I don't think this game changes
how I feel about the series, but I do think
that it's kind of reaffirmed the notion that the Nuggets
got to make some moves this offseason.

Speaker 3 (10:39):
Right Like, they're not the same team. I still think
that the best team in the league.

Speaker 1 (10:42):
I still have them winning the championship, but they are
not the team that won the championship last year. Last
year they were sixteen and four in the postseason. They've
got four losses already this postseason, right Like, they need
some being scoring. There was a time, you know, there
was a stat before garbage time when the bitches got
cleared where Denver's bench had zero points, Minnesota's bench had
fifteen points going to fourth, Like you know, they're missing
like that Bruce Brown type guy there right, Like, so,

(11:03):
so they for sure got to get out here this
offseason and they got some pieces to pick up.

Speaker 3 (11:06):
Man.

Speaker 2 (11:07):
I mean like during the during the regular season, you
know what I'm saying, Like, uh p, why you know
Christian Brown, you know that you know they got they
they had some great minutes, you know what I mean.
And we seen Christian in the playoffs has some great minutes,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (11:19):
But during the playoffs, you just need some consistency.

Speaker 2 (11:22):
And Bruce Brown is that's a that you know that
where he won games for them, like big games with
them in the finals last year.

Speaker 3 (11:29):
You know, it's it's that's kind of hard.

Speaker 2 (11:31):
To to big shoes to field for those young pups,
you know what I mean. So, uh I think I feel,
you like, if they're going to continue to dominate, you know,
I don't know if they beat this Timberwolves team next year,
if they win this game seven, because you know, they'll
have a year in their belt and don't have a
year under his belt, you know what I mean. Yeah,
So I think they definitely make some moves, but they're

(11:53):
still I mean, there's still a great fucking team, I
think if they beat this timber Moves team that's still
winning the Chip. Like I said, I don't think, I
don't think, I don't trust this. I think it's such
a good eno bound trust is so is enough to
beat either.

Speaker 3 (12:04):
One of these teams if they make it out of
the West. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (12:08):
I think the bench thing, it feels like in the
playoffs now, with how good the NBA is, you need
at least one, if not more than one, two way
guys off the bench, Guys who are not gonna be
a hurt you on defense and who can consistently contribute
offensively and like Christian Brown, like you're saying, can sometimes
do it offensively, justin Holliday can sometimes do it offensively.

(12:29):
Reggie Jackson is not doing it defensively, like none of
their guys are consistent enough on both ends of the floor.
I think the game seventh thing that's interesting about the
two teams stylistically to what your point is at John,
about how their ceilings are actually pretty close, is the
Nuggets are like an offensive juggernaut and the Timberwolves are
a defensive juggernaut. And Game sevens oftentimes are a defensive struggle.

(12:49):
Sometimes at least at the start of a game, right,
ths oftentimes come out flat. So it's like, what sort
of takes hold the Timberwolves defense on that. Does that
like really just clamp down or do the Nuggets just
have this offensive superiority that breaks through that Game seven
struggle type of situation. It's like such a microcosm of
the entire series.

Speaker 2 (13:08):
I think that Game sevens just affect the offense more
because people are tight, you know what I mean. And
you've played each other six games already. You know, you
know these players really really well. You feel me. You
watch Tello tape, you have a lot of minutes with them,
Like dog, it's gonna be like you know, it's it's
just it's gonna be who can go out there and
just get a fucking bucket?

Speaker 3 (13:27):
You know, you know, the players all types of shit.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
So I think that leans towards Denver because you know,
like they they have the experience, but a team that's
good at defense as this Timberwolves team is, and also
like they like Tyler talked about, like the Lakers, right,
it's not just size, it's how they approach the game,
like when they are aggressive on defense in the way
they were tonight. You know what I'm saying, Like they
win and that's what that's what the Lakers when they

(13:51):
win the championship, it all started with defense. And so
if they get like, you know, motherfucker's discombobulated, they have
Murray's struggling, you know what I'm saying, even at the
point when he was opened sometimes missus shots, He's shooting
the ball on the way down, Like that's the dude
that's thinking when he's taking jumpers.

Speaker 3 (14:04):
You don't want to be thinking taking a fucking jumper, bro,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (14:07):
And so that's I think. You know, I think the
Timberwolves have a great fucking chance. When I don't think
at all is like penned in like how people are saying,
Oh but bro, I don't know, man, I'm.

Speaker 3 (14:17):
Kind of I think I want the Timboves to win.
That's why I feel like you're talking yourself. But I
also think I'm like talking about it.

Speaker 2 (14:23):
I'm kind of feeling like the Timberwolves got a real, real,
real real shot. Also, they're young, and they don't have
the pressure the Nuggets have, So we're talking about like
they've been there before. The Nuggets are supposed to win
this series. They're supposed to win the chip. There's some
pressure with that, you know. I don't think Murray will
be affected by it. I don't think Jok will be
affected by it. But I think the other players, you
know what I mean, they can get up a little
get a little tight, and if the other players aren't

(14:44):
showing up like tonight, I don't know this young team
that they don't got to much presure that is.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
Out here playing ball, we'll see I mean, I mean,
I mean, I think this is a conversation we have
with Claire that most teams take on the personality of
their best player, right and Yo gets calm, cool, collective dude, right,
super even killed. And I do think that nerves come
with players fearing that they're going to disappoint their their

(15:09):
best guy and you know, get their fucking heads bitten off.
And that's not the case with the Yolkis Bro. He's
not that guy, you know what I mean. So so
I don't know, I don't think nerves are gonna come in.
I think that they're just gonna be the same team
that shows us oh yeah, this is why that they
won the championship las year. While they're probably gonna win
this year. I think that they think they're gonna win
pretty handily. I'd say by like center time.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (15:28):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (15:28):
I mean, I don't think that's pop possessions. That's crazy.
It's not that crazy to see for sure. I will
say the the youth thing. I don't think the Timberwolves
are winning a close game.

Speaker 6 (15:39):
I think if they're winning even in Denver, that they're
probably winning by ten. They're winning the game something like
this where they just really clamp down on defense, nugget
shoot poorly. I even with Ant who feels like he
can be a Dwayne Wade two thousand and four thousand
and six level closer, I don't think I think they're
too young to to sort of get through a nail
bier in Denver.

Speaker 3 (16:00):
But I don't know, it's tough. I like what I
saw with an on defense with Murray Bro. That motherfucker
was locking up.

Speaker 2 (16:08):
Wasn't no cute ship, you feel me, Like whoever he
had on him, he was locking up, bro. And I
love seeing that. And that's one thing about being young. Gee,
you got all energy, you know what I mean? Like
to play that way takes a lot of energy, and
they got enough of it. You know what I'm saying,
Like they have more than enough of it, So I
don't know.

Speaker 3 (16:26):
We'll see.

Speaker 8 (16:27):
Man.

Speaker 2 (16:28):
Like, like I said, this game, the way they're approaching
was super repeatable.

Speaker 3 (16:32):
It was super repeatable. Bro. You know Timberwolves in timber
Bro did y'all see what that with that with that
has his hands up? You know what I'm saying, Bro?
That right? It was crazy. But I got got up
and ran Bro. My wife was like, hey, man, you
gotta go to the room with.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
That Somethingner you distracted.

Speaker 3 (16:54):
Take your ass at office with that shit.

Speaker 6 (16:58):
He was so good tonight and he is all business
and I after the game he's putting up seven or
not after the game when he was subbing out in
the fourth quarter. That we've talked about it fifty times now.
We talked about it last episode with Claire about how
mature he feels and how intelligent and how it doesn't
he feels young in the exuberance level, but in the

(17:19):
way he's approaching it does not feel young.

Speaker 3 (17:21):
It's it's really amazing.

Speaker 7 (17:24):
This is like Dewaded, Yeah, he's twenty two.

Speaker 6 (17:27):
D Wade in that championship run, which I know, the
Timberwolves towing the second round. But d Wade was twenty four.
That's like a lot different than a twenty Yes, I
can't remember. Yes, I can't remember seeing a twenty two
year old take hold of playoffs, like a whole multiple
playoff series in the way that he's taking hold of them.
They haven't won two playoff series yet, but he is
really putting. It's I can't remember the last time someone

(17:49):
this young was this dominant in the playoffs.

Speaker 3 (17:52):
D Wade was averaging like thirty six something. He liked
that to win a way. It was crazy. That's a
lot sass. Yeah, ever player, you know what I'm saying.
But but yeah, I didn't take anything with you. No,
I know you're not.

Speaker 2 (18:05):
I know, yeah no, but I'm saying like, yes, I
do like somebody that young, like being that dominant and
feeling like somebody in their prime.

Speaker 3 (18:13):
The fact that he's twenty.

Speaker 2 (18:14):
Two is minding, like, how the fuck is this kid
twenty two years old? And the way he approaches the game,
Like did you see when I think when he was
out the game they got up to like thirteen the
Nuggets did and uh and you saw like nas reed
kind of pressure.

Speaker 3 (18:27):
He wasn't his shot wasn't falling, so he's kind of.

Speaker 2 (18:29):
Pressing a little bit, which I thought he got really
good at hitting the attack of the paint, using his
body in back to the basket, all that type of shit,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (18:35):
But then you saw aunts stand up and was like
calm down, bro, like relax, relax.

Speaker 2 (18:42):
And then they stretched it back out again, you know
what I mean. So like, yeah, like he's that guy
like and like Tyler says, you take on the personality
of your of your you know, and as somebody that's
super confident him also relaxed in a big moment.

Speaker 3 (18:54):
Who loves the big moment.

Speaker 2 (18:55):
So we hope that, you know, we hope to see that,
you know, and other players as well.

Speaker 6 (19:00):
That's the last player who was twenty two years old
who is this good in the playoffs is probably Kevin
Grant when they got to the finals in twenty eleven.

Speaker 3 (19:07):
Wasn't all that's good in the finals, was he not?

Speaker 7 (19:10):
I don't know, I know, not in the finals, but
leading leading to the.

Speaker 3 (19:13):
To that point the conference, the conference I was do you.

Speaker 2 (19:17):
Remember that time of like two thousand and two eleven,
twenty twelve, Chip where like, yeah, we watched that ship
in the bar was he did?

Speaker 3 (19:25):
We did? I was in New Orleans.

Speaker 2 (19:27):
I was extremely scared of KD when when they I
knew they were gonna play Kate.

Speaker 3 (19:31):
Okay, okay, See KD was incredible and in.

Speaker 2 (19:34):
The clutch moments is fourth quarter like points were like
the best in the I think in the in the playoffs.

Speaker 3 (19:39):
You feel me, he was like averaging a thirty ball.
It is quite show up the same. But I remember
that said it was in.

Speaker 2 (19:44):
The hotel and uh, what was the old boy with
the with raised head?

Speaker 3 (19:49):
Was his name? You talking about raising Head? Who was
the bigga who played for? Are you talking about a
friend of Tyler? The basketball player? Basketball player rais Head?
He played for the He played for Duke oh Bad
Yeah yeah Baddi yeah yeah. He ain't never caught.

Speaker 2 (20:08):
Yeah, Batty, I remember, I remember Beatty ain't didn't didn't
like hustle for a ball.

Speaker 9 (20:13):
And I was like, you're supposed to die for that,
fuck nig You're supposed to die for that ship. Fuck nigga,
lay out for that, nigga. It's a fucking game shakes, man,
you know what I'm saying, Bro, Just forget a chip?

Speaker 1 (20:26):
Mean, but yeah, man, yeah, but but you know, to
to the conversation, six, Waight is the best young player
we've ever seen.

Speaker 3 (20:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (20:36):
Season he averaged thirty five eight rebounds, four assists and
three steals in the O six finals. Closed out that
game six with thirty six points, ten rebounds, five assists,
four steals.

Speaker 3 (20:52):
In three blocks twenty Just christ, that's insane.

Speaker 2 (20:56):
Remember he Wade at the rim, though not on the
offensive side of the defensive side. Has there been a
guard that was that good at protecting the rim?

Speaker 3 (21:04):
I don't.

Speaker 2 (21:05):
I can't remember like a two three guard that could
protect the rim the way D way.

Speaker 3 (21:09):
He wouldn't need been a couple of times this playoffs,
but you said what post season? But not?

Speaker 2 (21:16):
And it comes from the back and pin your ship
with two hands, you feel me? And it's also my
biggest ant. That's all is He like was six six
six sevens looks like he's about six five something like that. Okay, okay, okay.

Speaker 3 (21:33):
D was six six nine wings Oh wow, that helped
and he jumps out the gym. But the Wade's just
seemed a little.

Speaker 7 (21:41):
Wag same height, six four with a six eleven wingspan.

Speaker 3 (21:45):
He Wade's wingspan was six eleven. That's what it's listed
at Jesus.

Speaker 2 (21:51):
I mean, but there's there's why, the math, the math.

Speaker 3 (21:55):
You know, best shot blocking garden and get crazy.

Speaker 2 (21:58):
And he was nasty and the run off to that
mom I think his I think he could have played
two or three more years if he approached the game differently.
That motherfucker tried to embarrass everybody, attacking the room, booming
of everybody.

Speaker 3 (22:09):
I missed the way with like, who, like, do we
have a player like d Wade? Would we see another
d Way?

Speaker 2 (22:14):
Like I know we see talking about you know, catlers
like MJ and shit, But like the way d Way
to approach basketball was like how all Day approached run
being a running back, you.

Speaker 3 (22:24):
Know, playing playing football was.

Speaker 2 (22:25):
Where like you know what I'm saying, that kind of
fel you know, like I feel like what I feel
like when we would see all Day he would be
running and he would he could run out of bounds,
he would.

Speaker 3 (22:34):
Turn and run in just to take the hit or
to give a hit. Really, you feel me?

Speaker 2 (22:38):
And I feel like d Way to approach basketball the
same way, and that's just a hard way to play
the sport.

Speaker 3 (22:42):
You feel me? So? Yeah. Also, also his injuries.

Speaker 1 (22:47):
Like if he would you know, if he had those
problems in today's game, with today's medical advancements, like his
career would have lasted so much longer. Like go back
and look at some of the like knee braces he
was wearing when he was at Marquete and ship nigga
them shit look like this washing gloves.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
Bro.

Speaker 1 (23:01):
Like like it, Bro, Like the technology in two thousand
and three when it came to like knee injury rehabing.

Speaker 3 (23:07):
Shit is so much different than twenty twenty four technology.

Speaker 6 (23:09):
Bro.

Speaker 3 (23:10):
You said they had a tout, You know what I'm saying,
tying around his knee. You know what I mean? Brother?
That shit looked terrible.

Speaker 4 (23:19):

Speaker 6 (24:21):
All right, let's move to the first of two. Game
six is we have coming up. We're gonna bring in
fellow co producer Josh, who is our resident Knicks fan.
Josh and I were talking before we started, and I
asked him if he's worried because the Pacers have not
won a game in Indianapolis or the next not won
a game in the Indianapolis in this series, and he

(24:41):
basically said he feels about this series the way that
he would feel if they were playing.

Speaker 3 (24:46):
The Charlotte Cordon.

Speaker 10 (24:48):
Really, I basically said the Pacers sucking. We're gonna be
honest with you.

Speaker 11 (24:53):
My thing is this, the Pacers got to the second
round because they played a buck Steam that didn't have
Gi honest, that barely had game had Chris Milton on
one leg.

Speaker 10 (25:00):
The pictures don't scare me at all.

Speaker 11 (25:01):
The only problem I have with the series that the
Knicks aren't healthy, so that that's that's literally the only thing.
And Jalen Brunson shows me in Game five that he's healthy.
So now my worries as a Nick fan are pretty
much gone because I don't think that they're gonna be
able to survive a healthy Jalen Brunson, a two footed
Jalen Brunson, and a team that basically whipped their ass
in Game five. So personally, I had the Knickson five

(25:22):
thousan before Mitch went down, that's before Og went down.

Speaker 10 (25:25):
The pictures don't scare me at all.

Speaker 3 (25:26):
Man.

Speaker 11 (25:26):
I think they're they're food gayzy, they're so fuo gazy.

Speaker 3 (25:30):
Yeah, I'm inclined, thank you, sir. I don't know.

Speaker 7 (25:39):
I just think when you're guys, think any chance you
so you say what I think of any chance.

Speaker 2 (25:44):
The chance I mean, Hallibird as society wants to play basketball,
you know what I mean, Like that's the only thing.

Speaker 3 (25:48):
I mean when Hallerber We talked about this so many times.

Speaker 2 (25:50):
When Holabird's aggressive, they're a really good team, they're competitive team.
But there's times in the moments, even when he's playing
a solid game, you know, solid game, we just seems
too passive. And I mean, like you need your best
player to be a fucking dog in the playoffs, especially
to be a Knicks team like this that has Jalen
Brunson and a ton of fucking dogs, you know what
I'm saying, or surrounding him. You feel me like like

(26:13):
the Knicks, this Knicks team is one of the Like
I don't when you go down the roster, who are
you not confident in a big moment, you know what
I'm saying, Like they dragging nuts everywhere win or lose?

Speaker 3 (26:24):
Fuck?

Speaker 2 (26:24):
You mean, you know what I'm saying. Like, so like
you can't play these you can't beat these niggas on
some cute shit. It's not happening, dog, not this team.
So like, yeah, I'm not, I mean, I don't. I
think the Knicks. I think the Knicks pull it off.
But it just depends on how Halliburton, like how competitive
that game is, Like you're gonna decide you want to,
you know, play aggressive basketball like the best player on

(26:45):
the team is supposed to do, or you want to
fucking be Eric snow entering fucking offense. Bro, Like make
a decision. Gee, you know, crazy Haliburton. I like Caliburn,
I really really really locked. I think it's I think
it's fun of shit.

Speaker 3 (26:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (26:59):
Halliburn is so confusing to me because he's a dude
who led the league in assists. He had those runs
where he was going on these crazy streaks like three
games forty assists, zero turnovers. Right, But he's a guy
where if his buckets aren't dropping, if his offensive game
isn't clicking, he's not affecting the game with his passing either.
Like when he's when he checks out, he checks all

(27:19):
the way out right, Like like you know, you hear
the cliche of oh he can affect the game without
passing and all that, but you know, if he has
an off night, but that's not Halliburn.

Speaker 3 (27:27):
Bro, if that shot ain't falling, he's just out of it.

Speaker 1 (27:29):
It's it's so confusing to me because, like I said,
he's a guy who's one of the best passes, one
of the best facilitators in the league. And when he's
out of it, if his buckets aren't dropping, that facilitation
shit goes out the window too.

Speaker 3 (27:38):
I don't get it at all, bro. And what's weird
is like Danny, what seven shots last game?

Speaker 2 (27:43):
Two a quarter and a half into the game, Like,
give yourself a chance to blow it, nigga. You know
what I'm saying, Like I mean you I mean this
is I mean, it's a boxing you know what I'm saying.
You know, like this boxing terminology. You know what I'm saying.
But like going on your show, on your short nigga,
going down your shield, nigga, you feel what I'm saying,
Like go out fucking fighting, you know, like dog like

(28:06):
you if you're taking seven shots, is the best player
on the team, like as a team that they need
you offensively?

Speaker 3 (28:14):
I kinda believe you ain't put them on an effort
in to win a game. You know what I'm saying,
You ain't even try.

Speaker 2 (28:18):
So that's what I'm like, Bro, Like going on your
fucking shield. Bro, you know what I'm saying, go out
chucking that bitch. You feel me, make it rain, nigga,
you know what I'm saying, Like at least you knew
you put you know, you gave your all. Like what
would bother me is not trying. What would bother me
is to get that motherfucking statue. I took seven shots,
Tyrese halliburn.

Speaker 8 (28:38):
I took seven shots in a fucking you know, like
in a game that we you know what I mean,
like a game five, like a game that could really
like that's how many people what percient of people that
win game fives is winning the series?

Speaker 3 (28:49):
Probably pretty high eighty three, nigga, in a two to
two series.

Speaker 2 (28:52):
It's very you feel me, like dug, Like this is
a big ass game and I took seven shots? What
the fuck am I doing? That would be if I
went if I went five for twenty five or some
allan iris numbers, you know what I mean, I'll be
fine with that ship. I'd be fin you know, letting
that thing go and gave it them all seven shots
would bother the fuck out of me, as Tyreech Halliburton,
you know what I mean. So like, if I'm in

(29:13):
the game if we I'll be like, I'm at minimum
going to be aggressive. At minimum, I'm going to be aggressive,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 11 (29:20):
And it's not in his nature though, Like his natures
pass first. So if you're the if you're the Knicks,
if you double him, if you pick him up full court,
he's going to pass the ball because that's what he does.
He should have a necessity most of the time. I
think that's what they did well last game. Once they
got the ball out of his hands, they pressed him
full court, reduced.

Speaker 10 (29:33):
And he got it in the ball. It's not in
his nature what you just said, it's not in his nature.

Speaker 3 (29:37):
Well, the coach got to figure some out.

Speaker 2 (29:39):
He got to figure somehout because when they're good, he's
getting buckets and he's aggressive with the ball in his hands,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (29:45):
But we've seen at times we're like, tyreeho had a layup?
Why are you passing it out to the open three?
H's wild? That's wild. I have we seen that. We've
seen that more than we should see that from a
guy that's as good as he is. Like, Bro, you
had a left though, Bro, Like when when is it?

Speaker 2 (29:58):
When is the team better? When the best when when
the best player is not shooting the basketball. What team
has ever been good? Has been better when the best
players are not shooting the basketball? Does it makes sense?

Speaker 6 (30:09):
I've never seen you so mad at a player. That's
not that you don't have a rooting interest in. I mean,
I just this is the chad I want the chat
to know and all the listeners to know. This is
just this is like fifty percent. This is like thirty
percent of John's anger when the when this game is
happening tomorrow, John is gonna be blowing up the group chat.

Speaker 3 (30:25):
Like take more shot? Ally, I need you.

Speaker 6 (30:28):
Like, John is as angry as upsetative player as I've
ever seen.

Speaker 3 (30:32):
Because he's so good. He's so good and he and
like it's like and I really like him. So I'm like,
what the fuck is going on? Bro? Like we all
the whole world sees it. Why do you not see that?
Where's the coach? Why is he not in his ear?
Like my nigga, we need you to be aggressive bro
his team?

Speaker 10 (30:51):
Why is Miles Turner in his ear yelling at him?

Speaker 3 (30:53):
Like you feel me? Yeah? Like if he was on
the Knicks, could you imagine jo Josh screaming at him
White Dante all about his day.

Speaker 7 (31:09):
I'm turning into an Indian animal over here with how
much he wants.

Speaker 3 (31:13):
I let her slide. If he said it, the t's like,
I'll be like, hey give him the past. He's making facts, know, Bro,
he's right, He's right? All right?

Speaker 6 (31:28):
Do we want to talk about Mavericks Thunder? The Mavericks
are up three to two and it's going to Dallas
for game six. It sort of feels like that's wrapped up,
but it's I mean, it's been a fun series.

Speaker 3 (31:37):
I just feel like it's been fun. I want to
be surprised if it goes seven, but I've still got
Dallas coming out of that. What's interesting is.

Speaker 2 (31:44):
Them winning games with Tyrie playing like a passive role.
He's doing the Halla bird ship, but they're winning. You
know what I'm saying, Like like he's being more of
like you know in this office, making passes. Like we
had a joke when he was playing with completely We're like,
the last time you said good past, Kyrie?

Speaker 3 (32:02):
You know what I mean? We know you know we
got a lot of Kyrie. Kyrie. Let that thing go.
So he's changed way he's playing and they won with it.
It's interesting. I thought he was more important to the offense,
you know. But yeah, they've been winning, so yeah, he'll
be too mad. All right.

Speaker 6 (32:19):
We have two, but we have two non basketball topics.
Submitted by Mike Gardibassia. His presence will will always be
felt on.

Speaker 3 (32:26):
The spot they win that game, because now I'm stressed. Bro.
He said it was.

Speaker 6 (32:29):
He said it was tie going until the bottom of
the sixth, which is the last inning for them, and
then we haven't got an update since, so I'll see.

Speaker 3 (32:36):
I'm not.

Speaker 6 (32:37):
I'm feeling like it's either a tragic win or a
tragic loss or a huge win, and we haven't got
a text either way.

Speaker 2 (32:42):
So be sure to know about how red his face
is when he hops on his Mouthuck is that motherfucker bloodshot?

Speaker 6 (32:48):
Red?

Speaker 3 (32:48):
Yo? Sorry, man, I hate to see it.

Speaker 2 (32:51):
They don't have the All Stars they've got. They have
traveling basketball, so Viney will.

Speaker 3 (32:54):
Still be playing. But damn, that's stuff. They have a
really good team, all right.

Speaker 6 (33:03):
The first non basketball topic we have is that the Olympics,
which are this summer, are reinstituting for the second time
since last Olympics, the anti sex beds.

Speaker 7 (33:16):
They were also used in twenty twenty.

Speaker 6 (33:17):
They're twin sized, and they're trying to reportedly trying to
discourage because there's a small discourage, you know, inter athletes relations,
although their official statement is that the reason they're doing
this is because it's they're really easy to like set
up and take down or something, so they're very eco friendly,
but really it's because they are trying to discourage the

(33:39):
athletes from a relations and Mike also wanted it to
be the known. His commentary on the matter is, quote,
trying to stop athletes from having sex in the Olympic
village is like trying to stop the earth from rotating.

Speaker 1 (33:51):
Pellas your thoughts, bro. I saw that picture and I
was like, where is the sex proof here? What like
a twin bed? Look that's how you go, bro, that's
how you know. Whoever's idea this. There was like a
whole board of people who had this idea, and none
of them were fucking in college because because.

Speaker 3 (34:09):
Twin bands, they't stop a motherfucking thing.

Speaker 1 (34:12):
I'm telling you right now, what No, if these are
a bunch of twenty two year old kids out here,
you think they're gonna give a fuck, bro, It's gonna
be like it's gonna be a throatback, you know what
I'm saying, Like, Oh, we was just here, you know,
this is how we was getting down two years ago.

Speaker 3 (34:24):
You feel you just giving them some nostalgia right there.

Speaker 1 (34:27):
You're thinking you're stopping some shit Like it's the worst
fucking idea I've seen, though.

Speaker 3 (34:31):
What's the reasoning behind that?

Speaker 2 (34:33):
That's some real hater shit, Like they don't think they'll
be able to compete at like you know what I'm saying,
you know, at full strength if they're not fucking like
this is like a dated way of approaching shit. Oh people,
I know that's doing that a like boxers, you know
what I mean, And they're fucking insane. Some boxers drink
their own piss, you.

Speaker 3 (34:49):
Know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (34:50):
Like, and that sounds like, you know, like a similar
way of thinking when it comes to like how athlete performs.

Speaker 3 (34:56):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (34:56):
I mean, as long as you ain't like cracking an
hour and a half before you running one hundred meter.

Speaker 3 (35:01):
You know what I mean, Like.

Speaker 2 (35:04):
You competing in a decathlon, maybe you should take a
few days off, you know what I mean. But like
other than that, you know what I'm saying, you all
here doing a shot put it a high jump of
some shit like that.

Speaker 3 (35:12):
Nigga, Bro, you know what I mean.

Speaker 6 (35:14):
Also, some of these people don't have their events coming
until like the twelfth day of the Olympics or whatever.

Speaker 3 (35:19):
Like what are they doing a village too, right, Like
they're all hanging out. They're all hanging Yeah, they want
to play ps four, ps five?

Speaker 2 (35:26):
What are antiquated?

Speaker 6 (35:29):
And it's also like you did do the people making
these decisions not think that this was happening thirty years ago?

Speaker 3 (35:37):
This was happening thirty years ago.

Speaker 6 (35:38):
I promise I hate to burst the bubble of whoever
it came up with this policy in the Olympic committee,
but this has been happening.

Speaker 10 (35:44):
You can.

Speaker 3 (35:44):
I promise you that.

Speaker 2 (35:45):
I'm gonna tell you something, Bro. They could put no
beds in that motherfucker, it's still going to get to
crack it. Lea gets the wall the way, grab the
motherfucker seat, Like, bro, what are you talking about?

Speaker 12 (36:03):
Like that makes no sense, Like like that's that's the
weirdest thing. Like you said, it's a lot of motherfuckers
ain't fucking out here, Mike. Mike broke down the stats
we see it more and more every day.

Speaker 6 (36:16):
Though, before we get to our last topic, I want
to let you guys know that I put in our
in the YouTube chat, does John O Rudy an apology?

Speaker 3 (36:27):
And fifty eight percent said no, So we have a
lot of Rudy haters.

Speaker 2 (36:30):
Still, there are a lot of people that you said,
I don't I ain't get to comments, but you said
a lot of people were to defending Rudy, right.

Speaker 6 (36:36):
I saw a lot of people saying, can you leave
the guy alone? Joki is gonna cook, cook anybody He's
gonna cook. He cooked all he cooked Anthony Davis in
the first round. All that, which is you know true, yeah, yeah,
but you know we're here to cloon Rudy Gobert.

Speaker 2 (36:48):
I think the thing what Rudy is. I really feel
like if he was six ' nine he wouldn't be
in the NBA. Like you know what I'm saying, if
he was six nine, six ten, would he be an NBA?
He couldn't guard the rim and the way he does.
You know what I'm saying, he doesn't have defeat to like.
But this is a guy we give four defensive Player
of the Years, where like his biggest superpower is his height.
I mean, he's athletic, but like he's not like what

(37:09):
what player in NBA? Now if you made him six nine,
wouldn't be an NBA.

Speaker 3 (37:13):
There's very like he? Who else? Will we say that?
For the good question?

Speaker 6 (37:20):
I do am realizing it's sort of crystallizing for me
in this moment that the reason you don't like Rudy
Gobert is because you're five ft eleven.

Speaker 3 (37:27):
Probably that could be could hate I need he needed.

Speaker 2 (37:32):
He should be six nine an accountant, and I need
them fucking five and I'd be six three and a
horrible human being.

Speaker 3 (37:39):
I do. I will agree with you and give me.
I would take that. I would take six foot, give
me six foot. We cool, We cool, It's okay, John,
you can be the height that you are.

Speaker 2 (37:48):
We still five eleven is the worst height. It's the
worst eleven. But it's a it's a terrible height. We're
the most basic motherfucker's on the planet. Bro, Like, I mean,
I just may be more confident I.

Speaker 3 (37:59):
Am, Bro. You know what I mean. You're making good
money at a younger age. You know what I mean?
Figured out? Uh, you feel me. I'm out here struggling,
you know, Honda drive and figured it out, you know
what I mean.

Speaker 6 (38:08):
So there was one play tonight where there was it
was a whistle something that it was a stoppage for
a second and the ball bounced to Gobert or he
had the ball or whatever, and he just tried to
take like al but like an eight foot like floater
and it, to your point, it looked like the most
unathletic thing you could possibly see. It's it's it's jarring
to see him attempt a shot that's not a dunk.

Speaker 2 (38:31):
They talk about how like and how ant doesn't give
him the ball in space, uh like, and they're saying
like that may be like not understanding, like like being young.

Speaker 3 (38:42):
I'm like, no, like you don't want the ball in
space and Gobert's hands.

Speaker 2 (38:46):
There At one point last game he had he tried
to do a spin move and he like stopped in
the middle because he was like, oh, yeah, I can't
do that, Like that's what it seemed like, you know
what I mean.

Speaker 3 (38:56):
Like I'm like, well, who can't like doing spin move?
You feel me?

Speaker 2 (38:59):
Like, I mean, like you should have a basic spin
moode like to finish at the other side of the
rim or whatever, like and also I see a lot
of times where like he's out of position on like
you know, it's like not finding a guy not boxing out,
but it'll get the rebound because of this height like that.
It's just little fundamental things that frustrate me, like bringing
the ball down to his hip when he's a ball
in his hand and get stolen or fouled.

Speaker 3 (39:20):
Bro like nigga.

Speaker 2 (39:21):
I got mad at my teammates in eighth grade for
doing that ship you know what I mean. So that's
why frustration with Rudy. But he is six three and
he is effective at the rim. So like everything hypothetical question,
he was six nine, he wouldn't be leavinge.

Speaker 3 (39:33):
As a fuck. It's not it's not a fact. So yeah, man,
that's that's my that's my beat with the man. But understood.

Speaker 6 (39:42):
Our second nonsports topic, submitted by Mike is, do you
guys remember the pack of orcas that was taking out
They run their.

Speaker 3 (39:50):
Beat, they are back.

Speaker 6 (39:55):
There was a report of two people on the boat
in the Strait of Gibraltar, which is in off Morocco.

Speaker 7 (40:03):
I believe uh where they you know that just off
the top of it, I read I skimmed an article.

Speaker 3 (40:08):
I'm like, good for you. I am terrible with you.
Did you know that because you'd be knowing ship. Yeah,
it's in the Mediterranean. You knew that, right.

Speaker 6 (40:19):
I couldn't even tell you where from where Iowa it is,
never mind, so you can you can point in Iowa
on a map.

Speaker 3 (40:26):
I was great. Yeah, I what's it's an embarrassing thing.
It's not embarrassing. Remember the fifty states, fifty states in
the fifties, and in the capitals.

Speaker 2 (40:36):
The only one I missed was like Jefferson City in
Missouri because I refuse to put jeff Co as deef
City as the capital. I feel like Saint Louis would
the capital. So I just put Saint Louis. So I
got a ninety eight out of one hundred. I'm pretty
good at that time. But anyways, the boats are back
or the orcers are back. There was an S O
S call off in the Strait of Gibraltar. The boat
was eventually sunk, and the the tracking data, I'm not sure,

(41:00):
how does everybody saying everybody say.

Speaker 6 (41:02):
Everybody, yes, sorry, I should have led with that. The
two people that were on the boat are fine, But
the data show says that this This pack of fifteen
whales says that there have been at least six hundred
and seventy three interactions between these orcas and boats since
since twenty twenty, not all of them sinking ships, but

(41:22):
at least them approaching and like checking it out, and
then some sinking the ships.

Speaker 7 (41:26):
Six hundred and seventy three in the last four years.

Speaker 3 (41:29):
Oh, they they pressing everything movement that come on the block,
Like six and seventy three. It got bres. What's craziest? Like,
like do they have memories like elephants or something? Like?

Speaker 2 (41:39):
I feel like they ain't never gonna let this die. Bro,
Like this it might be be be forever to the
end a mankind nigga, you know what I mean? This
shit might get ugly, like when it's like who's gonna
tell them to stop? Who's gonna be like misgladen? Humans
have tried, you know exactly, like to go pass this
down her projeity nigga, Like like, yo, when I'm out
of here, keep pressing these niggas they bro, you know

(42:00):
what I mean, This is our ocean, not.

Speaker 3 (42:02):
Respect it, bro.

Speaker 6 (42:06):
People I don't know who I don't know who is
the sort of organization that's in charge of this, But
they have said that they believe it's not personal, that
this is just sort of like a weird thing that's
happening with I find yeah, I find that a way
to just sort of.

Speaker 7 (42:20):
Try to try to keep it quiet because it feels
pretty it was pretty personal.

Speaker 10 (42:24):
I don't know, man, this feels like, how do we
even determine if it's personal or not?

Speaker 3 (42:29):
Like we talked.

Speaker 10 (42:32):
And he said back to you in the studio.

Speaker 3 (42:35):
It's a great it's a great point. It's a great
it's a great point.

Speaker 6 (42:44):
I do have before we get out of here, A
very important update from our fearless leader, Mike Guard to bassio.
He said, walk off winner, Vinnie's Vinnie and his boys
walked it off bottom of the sixth.

Speaker 7 (42:54):
They're advancing to the next round. Shout out to Mike,
out to Vinnie.

Speaker 3 (43:00):
I'll be celebrated. I was nervous, but I was really
waiting for the news man.

Speaker 2 (43:03):
The way you you got you kind of like set
it up when you were telling us the news were like,
you're about to say it was a lost.

Speaker 3 (43:08):
I don't know, I don't know. Maybe it's just me
my nerves peaked. You feel me so probably wouldn't even
said another pot shot? Uh do you guys have anything else?
Or should? Well?

Speaker 6 (43:20):
Know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (43:21):
Mike was gonna jump on, but he should be some
sebar somebody when the sun Yeah he's.

Speaker 6 (43:24):
Got he's got probably some ice cream to go. Yeah,
ten year old more important than that, I sure hope. So,
sure hope, I sure hope.

Speaker 2 (43:34):
Some recipes just can't die. You need to keep them.
Twinkies can go, the twigs tracked, you know what I mean?

Speaker 7 (43:41):
Did you have a favorite like kids treat or snacks
like that, not Twinkies?

Speaker 3 (43:46):
I would say Hostess cupcakes. Bro oh wait, I can't
uh fucking oatmeal pot what a little? Oh wow? Really
twenty two? I don't know what that is. You are
a baby, you've seen it. You never had one. I
don't think I have. I wasn't you never have? And

(44:08):
you had a moon pie before?

Speaker 6 (44:10):
Yes, okay, okay, okay, I've had like versions of this,
just not the oatmeal.

Speaker 3 (44:15):
No, that's the version. Okay, what I've never had one,
I've never had. I had nothing.

Speaker 7 (44:23):
I can say confidently I've never had one of these
oatmeal pies.

Speaker 2 (44:26):
Daniel says it sounds hold are you Daniel holdered you Dan,
you want to know how old Daniel is?

Speaker 3 (44:32):
What you said forty seven twenty seven? What are you
doing to stay young?

Speaker 2 (44:41):
Like that?

Speaker 4 (44:42):
Fuck?

Speaker 6 (44:43):
We Okay, he said, it sounds it sounds good because
I like oatmeal raisin cookies, but I don't like raisins.

Speaker 7 (44:48):
So the oatmeal I sound delicious because there's no raisin.

Speaker 1 (44:53):
Oh god, tears and this soft oatmeal. Like usually oatmeal
cookies are brittle. It is soft and chewy, moist and delicious.

Speaker 3 (45:00):
Dog Tyler, do you have a favorite, like one type
of snack of that favorite old school shit.

Speaker 1 (45:06):
I used to go hard on the oatmeal, cream pies,
the Little Debbie honey buns and ship Oh my god,
I could eat a whole box of those in one sitting.

Speaker 3 (45:15):
Dog bro.

Speaker 2 (45:17):
I remember in high school, Nigga, all I would eat
like for breakfast, a honey bun Hawaiian punch. All I
needed was I remember telling about fuckers man like I
need a honey bun Hawaiian punch and his wave brush, nigga,
fuck everything else, Everything else gonna fall into place, niggas.

Speaker 3 (45:32):
You know what I'm saying, Like my wave brush, this
honey butter and it's Awaiian punch. You know it's gonna
be a good day on this side. You hear me,
Simpler times, simpler times.

Speaker 6 (45:42):
The chat agrees with you, guys that oatmeal cream pies slap.
Another Jackson in the chat said nothing has made me
feel like this.

Speaker 2 (45:48):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (45:48):
I think in relation to the oat bill, maybe that
is it? Like what what was that good? Tyler? What't
you eat now? What you eat now? I love the
way he said it sounded good too, because it sound like.

Speaker 1 (46:05):
That was a juicy one was good as you that
mother strawberry, That strawberry pineapple, damn.

Speaker 3 (46:15):
Fruit high is the best bro it is? Man, that's
highly slept on. You feel me like you.

Speaker 6 (46:20):
Guys kind of disrespected strawberries a little bit in our
fruit conversation with Mina. And I just want to say
they are in my top three no way, Yeah, I
love strawberry you should.

Speaker 13 (46:32):
I think they're they're a solid role player. Wow right,
Like yeah, I don't think a year, not even six
of the year they're Like you think strawberries are as
good as nas read No.

Speaker 3 (46:43):
No, I think strawberries are a good third option. Okay,
look look thank you.

Speaker 2 (46:49):
Wait, No, I was down the line like like the
like the second like like third off, the bis, the
eighth man, Right, you're talking about the six man. No,
like like a chrisp like Chris Boss with the heat
type role.

Speaker 1 (47:00):
Okay, I I think I think because because Bro, Like
like I was eating a Public's pineapple Kiwi strawberry bowl,
my favorite fucking bowl that they serve, and Bro, the
pineapples and the Kiwi, they are the stars of the
strawberries a roll.

Speaker 3 (47:14):
Yeah, but that's just the thing. That's the thing.

Speaker 2 (47:16):
Like there's like there's mango steams, there's other really good players,
you know what I'm saying. So like that's what I'm saying,
Like it's a good role player in a fruit bowl.
But when you put them down the line, oh yeah,
I can't carry do you feel me? But there's a
lot of fruit that could you know what I mean,
there's a good amount of fruit that.

Speaker 3 (47:37):
Just a strawberry stands.

Speaker 6 (47:38):
Someone in the Chad Connor said strawberries or shake Milton,
which I find very disrespect.

Speaker 14 (47:42):
Oh that yeah, yeah, I caught it and I came back.
I have to give it a thought that he brought
it out there. I just wanted to think Okay, I
don't necessarily agree.

Speaker 3 (47:54):
But I do.

Speaker 2 (47:56):
Like, this is the thing about strawberries, either they're great
or they're me like, like, like you can buy a
whole batch of strawberries and they maybe two really good ones.

Speaker 7 (48:06):
You have to be very particular about from the wrong places.

Speaker 2 (48:09):
But I mean now, but when I'm looking at it,
you I have to be be very particular about which
batch I grab.

Speaker 3 (48:17):
You know what I mean That that's true. That's true.

Speaker 1 (48:19):
You can't And so I never buy strawberries on their own,
only buy them in like fruit bowls. And like I said,
dird option, Like what I do is I would take
like a pineapple chunk and like a strawberry or the
pineapple chunk season, you know, sweetens up the strawberry bit
fucking delicious. But like I said, third option, gotta ride
the coatails of you know.

Speaker 6 (48:36):
Here's what I here's the NBA comp that I would
give for strawberries. I think they are Donovan Mitchell. They
are not good enough to be the best player on
the championship team. They're not your true one option, but
they definitely think they're top option.

Speaker 3 (48:49):
Historically.

Speaker 6 (48:49):
If people are like strawberries, that's that's a top option
for you, and I don't think they're that good, but
I do think if you pair them next to a mango,
for example, I am super satisfied with the strawberries my
number two fruit, and that sort.

Speaker 3 (49:02):
Of okay okay, but the mango. Pair it up with
the mango, right like, just not by itself.

Speaker 6 (49:09):
I can eat a stroke, I can eat a whole
thing of strawberries by themselves.

Speaker 3 (49:13):
I really like strawberries.

Speaker 6 (49:14):
But if I was putting the roster of fruit together,
I think it's fair to say it's a second you
know what fruit.

Speaker 2 (49:21):
I think is a little overrated Kiwi. I agree, I
think Kiwi's a little overrated. I think people like talk
about Kiwi like his life changing also passionate fruit. It's good,
but it's not like what I the name is better
than the actual, you know what I'm saying. There's a
couple of you know what I mean, but like I'm not.

Speaker 6 (49:43):
I'm not.

Speaker 3 (49:44):
He was a good fruit. But I don't need you
to be like, hey, you need to try this Kiwi.
Actually I don't. I don't need to. You know what
I mean? You ever tried a golden Kiwi? It's like wasteless.
I saw I saw him today. I've been tried. I
saw him today. They're good. I'll get him. I saw
my day a whole food wife. He loves them. Bro
Mayby girl grabbed him.

Speaker 2 (50:03):
You know, maybe she maybe she had like a you know,
kids be having a spiritual connection with dy surround.

Speaker 3 (50:07):
I said, baby, put these back, we don't need these.
She like I was crazy, So maybe she's he ain't
never to go to the kid to go to keep me.
The chat is all kind of all over the place
on strawberries.

Speaker 6 (50:20):
It seems we got one Rodney saying strawberries or camelo,
Anthony Elijah saying strawberries are more like haliburt and grated.

Speaker 3 (50:26):
Setting up their teammates. Okay, I'm not going.

Speaker 6 (50:30):
Sean said, what are you guys putting over strawberries apples?
And I gotta say, Sean, you are unfamiliar with our game.
Oh you gotta go revisit the people about the apple
revolution that we've discussed.

Speaker 3 (50:40):
You gotta go.

Speaker 6 (50:41):
Let's revisit our pot with me and where we had
a full on fruit discussion. We got a lot of
chat loves the strawberry or the fruit talk. We got
Honey dew Is Rudy Gobert Pineapples twenty twelve, Lebron, Yeah,
going six for six in the finals. We have a

(51:02):
we had a Cantalope is the Jordan of fruits, which
I find.

Speaker 3 (51:07):
Oh wow, how old is that he doesn't even believe that.
He just wanted to get like we have you know
what I mean, Like it's that that's a that's like Candilope,
like Barbara's Like Candilope. Your name has to be Mark
Darboro's for it to be your favorite fruit. You know
what I'm saying, Like you know what I mean, Like yes, not,
you know what I mean, that's a particular generator. The

(51:29):
last last one. I'm gonna read it and then we
can get out of here.

Speaker 6 (51:31):
Are great one from term just you know, blueberries are
Rudy Gobert wouldn't be rated if they weren't blue.

Speaker 3 (51:36):
Oh wow, that's a great tic. I think blueberries are
mad over it.

Speaker 2 (51:40):
I think blueberries are really good when they're the sixth
thing there, Like you know what I mean, you you
gotta you gotta use blueberry likes.

Speaker 3 (51:47):
Blueberries like salt, you know what I mean. They're just
they're just kind of like seasonal.

Speaker 6 (51:51):
Blueberries are great in a smoothie. He makes the smoothie
purple and like muffins and panta like when you're just
eating it as a fruit.

Speaker 3 (52:00):
Nah, bro, you know who loves blueberries?

Speaker 2 (52:03):
Baby girl? Man, she loves frozen blueberries. It's like loves
frozen blueberries. Just yeah, anyway, we can talk about free
day time.

Speaker 3 (52:15):
This has been a delight.

Speaker 7 (52:15):
Shout out to Mike, Shout out to Anny. This is

Speaker 6 (52:23):

want an official prediction for you. John's going to force
you to make it.

Speaker 3 (52:28):

it don't matter I about they win or lose. And
that's what I won't have, you know. All right, that's
