Speaker 2 (00:38):
This is the Jody Jones Show on four took ninety
six to seven and day. I'm fourteen hundred.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
Good afternoon, and thank you for tuning in. I have
in studio Frank Vin Lanningham.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
Hey guys, good to be here.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
Well, one hundred first days, one hundred first days when
we have seven of President Trump's twenty two appointees that
have went through everything and they are appointed and they
are working, Yes they are, so we have I'm gonna
name him real quick Scott Bessett, he is the Treasurer
of the Treasury Department head of It, Sean Duffy Transportation,

(01:16):
Pete Hesseth Defense Secretary, And that was a tough one
to go through, but I think we got a real
good one. They're Christy Nomes Homeland Security, John Retcliffe CIA Director.
There's another super important one Marco Rubio, Secretary of State.
And Lee Zelden, the Environmental Agency Administrator. So the ones

(01:38):
that's gotten through so far, super super good. That we
got him through. This is pretty fast though, you know,
people think that it's not, but it really is. What
do you think, Frank.

Speaker 4 (01:50):
Well, I think, first and foremost, the left is still
railing from a huge loss, and I think in order
to save face they need to they need to come
up with a scalp and so they are going to
go after everybody with a vengeance. They need to show
their people that they are still relevant because honestly, they're
getting steamrolled and they know it. So at a bare minimum,

(02:12):
they need to stop somebody. They need to muddy somebody,
they need to slander somebody so that they don't come
out looking like they have just completely capitulated.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Yeah, did you watch the other day they had the
hearings for the Pointees and when Kennedy was oh, my
lord being assassinated on.

Speaker 4 (02:33):
Yeah, no, without a doubt.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
You know, I don't want to make fun of that,
but I mean it just.

Speaker 4 (02:39):
To replace that. They them in a dress Rachel Levine,
Admiral Admiral Levine Levine. Yeah, honestly, think about it. We
all know what Kennedy looks like. That dude when he
crosses his arms and looks at you. Yeah, that dude
is cut. Yeah, he's an old guy, but he honestly
he could kick your butt. This guy's the real deal.

(02:59):
Then you put it up against that Kishi. They them
in address that under any metrics, So I don't care
which way you roll. It's ugly and so and so.
Now it's like, gee, that was okay, but this isn't
And by what standard? I mean, I don't get it.
Anybody that's ever taken biology would say, I have no

(03:21):
idea what the hell that thing is, but it doesn't
look healthy.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
Well, did you hear the transition or the transaction between
him and Pocahontas.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
Yeah, that was something. You know. My take on that, Uh,
you're not going to sue my friends.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
Oh yeah, that's you know, it's funny how all of
a sudden, all of a sudden, you know they're on
the side of you know, big pharma, because that's really
what they're doing right now without a don't don't be mistaken,
because that's what they're doing.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
I remember a long time ago there was a posting
I don't know if it was a mem or what
the heck it was, but it was a caricature, a
cartoon of a politician and he had patches all over
his jacket, just like a NASCAR guy did. And they said,
all of these politicians should always have to wear the
patches of all their sponsors so that at any time
when they're talking, you understand what their motivation is. And

(04:10):
she's in the pocket a big pharma. All of those people.
Of course they bought and paid for commodities.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
Of course you are. And and you know, unfortunately that's
on both sides, but it's really relevant with the Democrat side,
especially right now. You know, they're a bunch of like
I always say, they're smoking mirrors. They never tell the truth,
you know, And and they could say the same thing
about Republicans. However, President Trump has done more in the

(04:37):
first few days in office than Biden has done in
the last four years.

Speaker 4 (04:43):
Except for the ice cream eating competition. I think Biden's
got him hands down. Yeah, And it's it's he's sniffing. Also,
he sniffed a lot more kids than right, you.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
Know, and and just goes to show you what a
real president can do.

Speaker 4 (04:59):
Oh.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
Absolutely, He's flying all over the place. He's going to
these you know, these disaster areas, talking to the people
and really seeing what's going on, you know. And just
like when he went to la and you know, seeing
what was going on for himself, and then he had
the you know, press conference with the mayor over there,
and she just had no clue, no clue, you know,

(05:23):
and he set her straight. You know, they even took
the mic away from her. I don't know if you
noticed that one they.

Speaker 4 (05:27):
It was embarrassing again, Jody, some people are too stupid
to be embarrassed. Yeah, she's one of them.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
I agree, one hundred percent agree. You know, I think
it's it's they're just based all on deception.

Speaker 4 (05:39):
Without a doubt. Well, the entire premise of the left
of the Democratic Party, of the Liberals, of the Communists, socialists,
call it whatever you want to me. Everything over there
on the left has a lot in common, and it's
all about two things. It's about theft and deception, the

(05:59):
entire thing. Now, we like to tell ourselves as people
on the right, that we're about a pursuit of the truth,
and that sounds really noble. Those are great talking points. However,
to be sure, we have a few in our pile
that actually belong on the left. They are bought and
paid for commodities. They are not representatives of the hoy PELOI,
of the public, of the dirty unwashed. They are actually

(06:21):
people who have sold their souls to the devil, and
so they are not always going to line up with us.
And when I say talking about lies and deception, think
about it for a minute. The belief that somehow a
person can live for free without burdening another. And this
is like fifteenth century French stuff.

Speaker 3 (06:47):
No, I get it.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
Yeah, yeah, it's sure, the mere fact that somebody can
live for free without another having to pay for it.
I mean, if there's ten marbles in the bucket and
I take out six, that leaves four. They don't magically reappear.
And so we need to make somebody a slave if
we are to make somebody free, you know.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
That's what they always say and about socialism. Socialism is
great until the other person's money runs runs out. How
many how many times have you heard that?

Speaker 4 (07:22):
It's absolutely the truth, the entire thing. See, I need
to steal from you and give to you, and then
as the distributor, as the arbiter of fairness, now I
will get your praise and your loyalty, and I will
own you forever because I will actually make you dependent
the other guy. I will break you down by taxing you.

Speaker 3 (07:40):
Well, that's what this last administration was trying to do.
They wanted to make people, you know, dependent instead of independent.
That's the whole thing about socialism, you know, that's what
they that's what they want. Socialism wants everybody to be
dependent on the big government.

Speaker 4 (07:58):
They will never give these people enough to make them free.
They will only give them enough to keep them alive,
to get them back in line the next day.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
Case in point Venezuela, Oh good that place. I mean
their economy was thriving, Yes, it was thriving until they
got the socialist leader there and it just crashed and burned.
And throughout history, if you look at anything that the
Socialism Party has touched, it's all crashed. They're always starving.
And when I say they, it's the population, the government,

(08:29):
the officials. They're always doing fine.

Speaker 4 (08:31):
Oh without a doubt. Government and big business and those
environments will always thrive. And if you'll notice, even when
we were going through the worst economic times that we've
ever had, if you went to the big blue cities,
the Imperial Cities, if you will, Sacramento, I was building
an atherton at the time that we were in a
deep recession. I was actually back in Boston working on

(08:52):
a very large public project back there. And I've been
to DC and I can tell you that during those times,
those economies didn't even know there was a recession because
everybody sends their money to the big blue blob and
over there, the hotels are full, the waiters are working,
everybody's going moving and grooving. It's a stupid little people,

(09:14):
you know, in flyover country that just get bled and
bled for the benefit of them.

Speaker 3 (09:19):
Right. And and for those of you that don't know
about inflation, we're going to explain that after our break.
But but it's super simple. We're going to try to
put it in the simplest way possible because it's really
it is a simple process. And you know, and and
we're going to explain that to you guys in a

(09:40):
little bit. But you know, I just wanted to go
back to and revisit the confirmation hearings. You know, watching
these guys, and and they every every question that these
Democrats are asking, Uh, President Trump's appointees are basically saying,
you're not going to go after us, because I mean,

(10:01):
after you stripped everything away, That's really what they're saying.
Are you you're not gonna go after us? Are you?

Speaker 4 (10:05):
Yeah? Promise that you won't sueig Pharma? Right? And it's like, no, right,
I'm gonna promise that I'm not gonna sit one. I'm
an attorney too, I'm anti Big Pharma, and I'm supposed
to promise to you, a taker from Big Farmer, that
I won't sue Big Pharma. Whose sideer you on Pocahontas.

Speaker 3 (10:22):
Right, So, if you're not watching these I encourage you
very strongly to watch these hearings because it tells you
a lot about you know, who's doing what. And then
if you kind of dig deeper in that rabbit hole,
you do a deeper dive into these certain senators and
these congressmen, you're going to find. You've heard the term

(10:42):
follow the money, because that'll tell you everything about a person.

Speaker 4 (10:46):
Absolutely.

Speaker 3 (10:47):
You know, that's why they hate Trump so bad. President
Trump is because you know, you follow the money. It's
his money. Yeah, you know what I mean. So he's
an entrepreneur, He's always been that.

Speaker 5 (10:57):
You know.

Speaker 3 (10:57):
Has he filed bankruptcy yeah? Has he failed? Yeah? But
you know, just like a shrewd businessman, you know, failing
makes you better. You learn from that, and he has
just like he's learned from his last presidency to this one.
Look what he's doing now. He has hit the road
running and he's putting people around him that are loyal

(11:19):
to him. People say, oh, he's just putting people in
offices loyal to him. Uh duh, Yeah, that's what he's doing.

Speaker 4 (11:26):
No, I'm gonna put people that hate me. Yeah, I'm
gonna put people that want to undermine.

Speaker 3 (11:29):
I want to put I want to put a chameleon
in this office, because you know, it's just it's ridiculous
what people are saying.

Speaker 4 (11:35):
Now that I've won the election, how about I put
people in there that hate me, help me fail. That
way you can say, look he failed, But I mean,
come on, people, what are we nine years old? Think
about it?

Speaker 3 (11:44):
These people love America. They absolutely love America, and even
more important, they love American values.

Speaker 5 (11:50):
You know.

Speaker 3 (11:50):
And when you say, when you talk about American values,
you know, it's it's pride, it's it's family, it's it's God,
it's you know, it's all these things in combined into one, right,
you know. And you know it's a it's a beautiful thing.
America is a beautiful country. We all love it. And

(12:10):
if you listen to the left, they hate America.

Speaker 4 (12:14):
Right, but we all come here because it sucks, right.

Speaker 3 (12:16):
Yeah, that's it's just it's amazing, you know. And it's
just I'm so glad that President Trump is in office
now without a doubt and and and it's it's it's refreshing.

Speaker 5 (12:32):
It.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
I feel better. I feel better about the future. You know.
That's that's when I say I feel better. That's what
I feel better about is the future, the future of
my daughter. And because I strongly believe that, you know,
we are going to roll this. What I mean by
that is President Trump's going to make it happen. He's

(12:55):
reunifying the Republican Party. And you could see by the
way their vote they're sticking together. You might have one
or two when you had you know, seven or eight before.
Now you just have one or two and they're going there.
They're starting to fall in line too. And that's what
the Republican Party needs. That's why the Democratic Party is
and we're we're and is so strong. They're in disarray

(13:18):
right now and the Republican parties there, Hey, when we
come back, we're going to explain inflation to your the.

Speaker 2 (13:26):

I don't have to tell you about the volatility in
the real estate market recently, but I am going to
tell you about my good buddy, Jose roblaz He's a
relator right here in the valley, born and raised in
the valley. I'm amazed at the advice he's given me,
and he'll guide you through every step. And he wanted
you to know you can always get a hold of him.
The best way to wealth is through real estate. Give
my friend Jose Robliss a call today. Two eight eight

him a call at five five nine five five three
seven to one five five. That's fixed auto in Vicelia
five five nine five five three seven to one five five.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
He's a Jody Jones show on Power Talk ninety six
seven and am fourteen hundred.

Speaker 3 (15:05):
I told you guys before break that we were going
to explain inflation to you guys, and Frank was talking
to me about inflation and the analogy he uses absolutely great.
I loved it.

Speaker 4 (15:17):
Imagine for a moment you at this little theater in
your hometown. It's got a hundred seats, three hour movie,
so it only gets to play once a night. You
go buy a ticket. The guy sells one hundred tickets
a night, fills the place up. Everything's fine. There's a
perfect balance between people that want to watch it, number
of seats that are there, the number of dollars that

(15:39):
comes in. And so we understand one ticket, one seat,
one person, one dollar. Let's imagine this guy is less
than honest and he says, you know what, why did
I print one hundred tickets yesterday? Today I'm going to
print a thousand tickets. He sells a thousand tickets, and
guess what, a thousand people show up at the movie theater,

(16:01):
only one hundred are getting in. These tickets have been
devalued because that ticket no longer gets you in the movies.
It does not guarantee anything. It is not worth what
it used to be worth yesterday, it was worth a
seat in the movies. Pretty soon nobody wants a movie
ticket anymore because it doesn't get you anything. That ticket
has been devalued because too many of them were printed.

(16:26):
And it's the same thing with the dollar. A dollar
is nothing more than a symbol. It's worth nothing more
than what we have collectively agreed that it be worth.
The Federal Reserve cranks up the printing press and starts
cranking out dollars. Before you know it, you are knee
deep in dollar bills. The problem is you didn't make

(16:49):
more movie seats for that ticket. You need to have
a balance between goods and services that are out in
this economy.

Speaker 3 (16:59):
So, in essence, stop spending more than you make.

Speaker 4 (17:03):
Stop spending, stop printing.

Speaker 3 (17:05):
Their answer is print more money. That's not the answer. Nope,
that causes inflation.

Speaker 4 (17:10):
Well, it is another tax. You see, I can give
you a dollar for your work that you've done today,
and you're happy that I've given you that dollar. One
way I can steal from you is taxing you and
making you pay a portion. Another way I can steal
from you without you even seeing it is I can
print more dollars and basically, I'm giving you fifty cents, Jody.

(17:30):
I'm not giving you a dollar because I talked you
into thinking it's a dollar. But then the price of
everything went up because the dollar went down, and so
we find ourselves thinking that prices have gone up when
in fact, your dollar has been driven down. You have
been stolen from and they've got you thinking that it's
that guy on the corner selling things for too much.

(17:53):
He's ripping you off. The oil company's ripping you off,
the grocery stores, everybody's ripping you off, except for the
guy that's running his mouth. He's the one that's dole
from you. And your twos aren't dumb to realize.

Speaker 3 (18:02):
It, right, So always remember this when a politician says this,
it's for it's free, So in reality, they're really not
lying because it is free for the person that's getting it,
so they're not lying. It's not free for the taxpayer,
the person paying for it, because it has to be

(18:24):
paid for somehow, and it's paid for the form of taxing.
So when they when they say, oh, this is gonna
you know we're doing this, is gonna pay for this
and it's free, it's not gonna affect anything. They are lying, right,
they are lying because they're not telling the whole truth. Okay,
they're not telling the whole truth. Is this, when somebody

(18:45):
gets something for free, somebody else has to pay for it.
Who's gonna pay it for Who's gonna pay for it
the tax payer? Remember that, guys. So when you hear
I don't care if it's a Republican or Democrat, you
just don't hear the Republicans say that. You don't hear propellicant. Oh,
this is free. They know it, they know it's not
for free. You hear Democrats and people on the left
always saying that they want to give everything to everybody. Again,

(19:08):
they want to make people dependent, not independent. That's the
difference between socialism and capitalism.

Speaker 4 (19:16):
Right, we've lost our sense of wild. Right, We once
upon a time were wild animals, Now were house pets.
And there's along the lines of what you said, Jodi,
there is nothing more expensive than something that is free,
because in addition to me producing it and giving it up,
we now got a bureaucrat in the middle, and a

(19:38):
whole bunch of other other people involved in making that free.
And all those people get paid. The guy that grew
the wheat got paid. The guy that cut the wheat,
the guy that made the bread, the guy that put
it in the warehouse, and now the bureaucrats that administered
it just so that this guy down at the end
gets one loaf of bread for free. All these people
got paid. And that money came from somewhere. Where did

(19:59):
it come from? It came from a magical printing press
that we ran. We gave all those people money. We
further devalued the dollar. And again, taxes and inflation are
almost exactly the same thing insofar as what they do
to you. It's a quiet, sneaky, slimy way of stealing
from you. And it's how we steal from you while

(20:20):
you don't even realize it's happening, and you think about
it every aspect of a human's life. And I'm talking
about your healthcare, your childcare, your education, your housing, your
paid leave from the Family Leave Act. Oh my wife
had a baby. I could take six months off free.
No you don't. It's getting paid for your food, free food, telephones.
How many little kiosks do you see on sidewalks giving

(20:43):
away free phones?

Speaker 3 (20:44):
Those that's not sustainable, right.

Speaker 4 (20:46):
Utilities look at your electric bill. You got taxes for
the death, taxes for the blind, taxes for the poor. Oh,
if your incomes below a certain threshold, you get the
California this and that, and you get this for free,
all of that. Your transportation busfouchers, trust me, high speed
rail if it ever gets up and running. If you're
on welfare or just got out of prison or an
illegal alien, that will be free.

Speaker 3 (21:06):
Also, hey, frank, let me ask you this. You used
to be a Democrat, right right? I was what changed
your mind? Oh, my lord, other than that she grew
up and you became an adult. Yeah, so you.

Speaker 4 (21:18):
Know, my prefrontal cortex developed. And this was about the
time I was living in a car. I was in
Los Angeles, sleeping in an old pickup truck. I had
no home, and I realized that all those lofty things
they taught me did not work. There was no love,
there was no help. If I was to pull myself
out of it, it was one hundred percent on me.

(21:38):
And I realized all of the promises that had been
made about the social network and all this, it was
all BS. And so at that point I realized that
the helping hand you're looking for Jody, it's at the
end of your own darn arm. It's not somewhere else.
There's nobody there. And you and I, thank god, we
both get it, and probably a lot of the people

(22:00):
out here get it. We are orphans. The quicker you
think of yourself as an orphan. The quicker you quit
thinking that somebody else is going to give you all
these things. It's on you. Once you do that and
you make peace with it, make peace with that, make
peace with the fact that one day you'll die. Everything
else is easy in this life, yep, But else is tough.

Speaker 3 (22:18):
Mommy and Daddy don't owe you anything. They do it
because they love you. If they're helping you out, it's
because they love you. And when the government does it,
they don't do it because they love you. They don't
help you at all, because it's because they're lining in
their pockets and they want you to dependent on them
so they can keep doing the things that they're doing.

Speaker 4 (22:36):
Yeah, you're their dog, right. They hold a Scooby snack
up and you sit, you roll over, you beg you shake,
you do whatever the heck they tell you, because they
give you just enough to keep you coming back and
keep feeding you on condition that you keep them in power.

Speaker 3 (22:49):
You know, my grandfather used to tell me. You know,
it's not a sin to be poor and have nothing,
it's a sin to stay there because you know, like
you said, I'm going to echo what you said about
the helping hand is at the end of your own arm,
because that's it really is. If you truly want to
help yourself, if you truly want to get ahead, you
have to help yourself. Nothing comes for free, nothing is

(23:12):
going to come to you. You always got to go
look for it. Yeah. Does people have good friends and
stuff like that help them out. Yeah. However, you still
have to work. You still have to strive to be
better every day. Always be a better person, always want
something more. Always be that person that helps your self.

Speaker 4 (23:30):
Yep. And you need to bring value. This is the
big word of this whole sermon, my entire homily, that
I bring to you this day, not brought to you
by faizo, by the way, or murk or any squiver,
lily or roach or any of them. Value. You see,
your dollar should have value, that movie ticket should have value.

(23:51):
You as a human being should bring value to everything
you touch. If you're a worker, hear me, out here.
That job was not created to give you a job.
This is what the politicians will tell you. The truth is,
labor is a byproduct of business. It's not the function
of business. If we can get rid of it, we will.

(24:11):
And if you don't believe me, look at the kiosk
at McDonald's, Look at the kiosk at Walmart, look at
all the self checkout. We are here to get rid
of labor. We're here to bring an ai We're here
to get rid of you. And that sounds horrible, but
you know what, I'm looking you in the eye and
I'm telling you the truth. And so, if you want
to stay in the game, if you want to be relevant,
you need to bring value to your job. You need

(24:32):
to be that one employee who's an absolute beast that
knocks it out of the park. If you're going to
be in business, you got to give your customer something
the other guy doesn't. If you want to be a husband,
be the best damn husband you can possibly be. Be
the best wife, the best kid, the best student teacher.
I don't care what it is. If you want this
place to be that shining city on the hill, be

(24:56):
a part of the sparkle, not one who sits back
and says for me, entertain me.

Speaker 3 (25:02):
I want you to understand something. It's always okay to
get help. There's nothing wrong with receiving help. Everybody needs
it once in a while, one time in their life,
maybe a couple of times whatever. Everybody needs it. However,
again it's it's like I my my grandfather told me,
