Speaker 2 (00:38):
This is the Jody Jones Show on Fourtom ninety six
seven and day.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
I'm fourteen hundred.

Speaker 4 (00:45):
Good afternoon, and welcome to the Jody Jones Show in
studio with Frank Van Laningham. As always, what's up, Jody, Well, guys,
I want to tell you a little bit of something.
What happened to me last week? I was invited to Washington,
DC for the first annual America America's First Voice Awards banquet,

(01:10):
and they were honoring Tom Homan and he is an
amazing person.

Speaker 5 (01:17):
You know.

Speaker 4 (01:17):
I met him and when I talked to him, he
gave me just this big hug. Do you remember that, Frank.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
It was amazing. Thank you for bringing me along, Jody.
I have never been in a room with so many giants,
such wonderful people.

Speaker 4 (01:33):
You know, it was it was surreal, you know. For
those of you who don't know about me and my story,
my brother was murdered in twenty eighteen by an illegal alien,
a criminal illegal alien. He was deported twice from the
United States and he was arrested. Within twenty four hours

(01:59):
of his release, he murdered my brother and in Tallarra County.
It was called the rain of Terror. And what happened
was he was arrested because of the sanctuary cities and
Prop forty seven, which is basically saying when it comes

(02:20):
to ICE holds that that ICE needs a It's so,
how can I explain this Before when an illegal alien
was arrested, what would happen is the local law enforcement
would contact ICE Immigration and they would facts Overhold and say, hey,

(02:42):
we'll come and get them. Well, that's not the case anymore.

Speaker 5 (02:47):
ICE.

Speaker 4 (02:47):
The Immigration needs a federal warrant to hold them for
them to come and get them well. And in this case,
in my brother's murders murderer's case, Ice didn't have enough
time to who facts the warrant over to them, a
federal warrant because California and Prop forty seven basically turned

(03:12):
felonies into misdemeanors, misdemeanors into infractions, and lo and behold,
he was released because I didn't have enough time to
get the federal warrant facts to the local law enforcement,
which in this case was Larry County Sheriff's department, and
so they had to release him within twenty four hours he.

Speaker 5 (03:32):
Murdered my brother.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
So so here I am now and I'm always fighting
and advocating, uh for you know, legal immigration not illegal immigration,
because I want to let everybody understand something here that
when when they say migrants, that is a false statement
because all these people coming in here illegally as are,

(03:54):
they're not migrants. They're illegal aliens. And even it's even
saying that in in case law in document to everything,
it's illegal aliens. It's not migrants. A migrant is something
that migrates over here legally and goes to all the
proper channels. So if I'm a migrant and I hear that,

(04:14):
I'm offended, and my father was a migrant, he was
not an illegal alien.

Speaker 5 (04:22):
There's a difference.

Speaker 4 (04:23):
And everybody, I want you guys to all to understand this, okay,
because the legacy media that they're calling it now, this
is what they want to portray. They want to portray
that we, as an American person, as an American citizen,
wants to get rid of migrants, and that's not the case.
We want people to come over here legally through the

(04:45):
proper channels because what is America, America is a land
of laws. When you circumvent those by millions and millions
of people coming in for the sole purpose of votes,
that's the only reason, guys. It's pretty much being proven
now everybody's talking about everybody knows, but going back to this,

(05:08):
when when, when this is the sole purpose, it's it's
just it's sickening, you know. And Frank, you had first hand.
You met everybody firsthand that's went through what I've went through.
You know, we've late Lake and Riley, We've met her sister,
her mom, her dad, along with a lot of other

(05:29):
absolutely wonderful Angel family members that lost their loved ones.
And unfortunately I'm an Angel family member as well. The
only way you can be a famed Angel family member
is if you had a loved one, a family member
murdered by an illegal alien. So it's it's to me,
it's super personal.

Speaker 5 (05:48):
Uh. And to get.

Speaker 4 (05:51):
Invited to Tom Holman's it was a reward banker for Tom Holman.
Plus they were honoring the men and women of you know,
the first responders, Tom Holm and Ice.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
Art del Quoto, yes, Mark Lamb.

Speaker 4 (06:06):
Yes, and these these are yeah, Border sheriffs, Border patrol officers.
And then then we had a second show that was
honoring just us Angel family members. So and this was
all put on by some very very good people. We'll
kind of go over some of that stuff, but right
now I'm gonna tell you we're gonna go a little

(06:27):
lighter story. And this is the trip over that Frank
and I me.

Speaker 3 (06:31):
Oh my gosh. That was the road from Fresno yeah
to d C, which was thirty six hours plus, which
honestly I could have ridden a skateboard there in thirty
six hours. And yeah, we took I don't know five
airplane trips just to get there. It was.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
It was insane. So so so here here was what
we're supposed to do. Okay, we were supposed to fly
out of Fresno, which we did. Everything went smooth until
we got to Dallas. And so this is a couple
of weeks ago when Dallas had that big storm and
there's some big storms there. Well, Dallas Fort Worth Airport,

(07:08):
the terminal was completely shut down, completely closed, so.

Speaker 3 (07:11):
It was flooded, like under a foot of water. They
couldn't take off or land.

Speaker 4 (07:14):
So we're flying around and about forty minutes spring.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
Yeah, we made loop after loop and I'm seeing the
same people over and over and it's like, oh, look
at that red house, Look at that red house.

Speaker 4 (07:24):
So then the pilot comes over and says, okay, we
made the decision to fly to Oklahoma City because we're
running low on fuel. And if you've ever flown and
you're in a plane, you really don't want to hear
that then you're running on fuel.

Speaker 3 (07:40):
Other than that, we're doing great.

Speaker 4 (07:42):
So so we we take off and you or we're
we divert to Oklahoma City. So we finally land and
we're sitting on a tarmac, so everybody's sitting there kind
of looking around, going, man, now what right? And you know,
now they're saying that there's tornadoes everywhere, so we're like,
what the heck's going on here? So, you know, another loudspeaker,

(08:05):
you know, another I got? Was it somebody from American?

Speaker 3 (08:10):
Dallas? Fort Worth is closed and if you'd like to
the plane, we will let you do that. But all
we're going to do is wish you the best, thank
you for flying, ladies and gentlemen.

Speaker 5 (08:20):
That's pretty much what it was.

Speaker 3 (08:22):
It's like, okay, let's fly into Dallas, into the thick
of it that's underwater, yeah, and get stuck with how
many other thousands of people?

Speaker 4 (08:29):
So basically what they told us is you could stay
on the plane and we'll fly back to Dallas whenever
they say we can, or you can de plane go
into Houston and try to get another plane back to Houston.
So we decided to get off the plane and get
another flight to Houston. Well, seven hours later, it is
about nine pm, we finally fly back to Dallas to

(08:53):
Houston and and we're like, okay, this is a smaller
plane and the turbulence was super bad.

Speaker 3 (09:01):
God bless Allen and the people from uh yeah, these
are the yahs from America Voice. Yeah. Every time something
went wrong, she threw two new tickets at us.

Speaker 4 (09:09):
Yeah, Real America Voice. That is a top, top notch organization.
Oh yeah, that is just it's it's getting off the ground.
It it's they're wonderful people. And they probably bought us.

Speaker 3 (09:22):
Probably seven tickets or six tickets just to go there.

Speaker 4 (09:24):
It was nuts because everything kept getting canceled. So so
now so now we're in Houston. We finally get back
to Houston and it's eleven o'clock at night, so they
put us up in the hotel.

Speaker 5 (09:37):
There's a Marriotte right there at.

Speaker 3 (09:38):
The inside the airport.

Speaker 5 (09:39):
It's awesome. He's pretty cool.

Speaker 4 (09:42):
So so we get there and we're like, okay, our
plane leaves at seven o'clock in the morning to Washington,
d C. Okay, so we get up super early and
our stuff and and we walked down and we are
at the wrong terminal.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
Wrong Houston airport to the airport. So get on the phone,
call him, tell them.

Speaker 4 (10:04):
So we're actually in a taxi and we're driving away
and then they call us. They'd be in a Real
America Voice and they say, hey, listen, we're just going
to fly you out of that one at nine o'clock.
So we tell the tax driver, hey, circle back around
and we'll we're just going to stay here. Well, uh,
this guy didn't want to do that. He was like, no,

(10:25):
the right is too short. Yes, yeah, I cannot let
you out here. I'm like, no, you're letting us out here.
So he literally turned around and parked in front of
where we wanted to get off and would not let
us out.

Speaker 3 (10:36):
It wouldn't open the doors, couldn't get my suitcase, and
I'm like, dude, you're now kidnapping me and staling my luggage.

Speaker 5 (10:43):
Like, we'll give you twenty dollars, that's what it was
going to be.

Speaker 3 (10:45):
Yeah, here's some money out of your taxi. No, you
will stay in my taxi.

Speaker 4 (10:48):
Yeah, we're like no, it's not okay, let us out
right now. The guy would not let us out right.

Speaker 5 (10:53):
It was. It was the craziest thing.

Speaker 3 (10:54):
I'm ready to reach over and choke the guy. Yeah,
I'm going to hurt this guy because I'm not getting kidnapped.

Speaker 5 (10:59):
Yeah, it was.

Speaker 4 (10:59):
It was a little scary. Yeah for a second, you know,
and then I'm looking at Frank. Frank's freaking out, you know.
So I'm like, holy moly, what's gonna happen here?

Speaker 3 (11:07):
I'm thinking this is how that movie Taken started?

Speaker 4 (11:09):
Yeah, I said, man, what else is it gonna go wrong?

Speaker 3 (11:13):
Here?

Speaker 4 (11:14):
So so we finally get out and and we're waiting
for the ride to DC, and I thought, I looked
at Frank and I said, hey, if this one don't
work out, we might as well just fly home. Because
and and so I was supposed to go to the
White House Thursday morning, and this is all Wednesday, Thursday morning.

(11:35):
We were gonna go to the White House and we
were gonna meet some people and and all.

Speaker 3 (11:40):
Those beautiful color signs on the White House lawn about
all the people that have been captured and arrested. Yeah,
and it was beautiful.

Speaker 5 (11:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (11:47):
And then they what I didn't know is we were
supposed to do that. What I didn't know. And what
happened was they actually got to go into the White
House again, and they actually got to talk to Love, Yeah,
Carolyn Levity and a few other people. However, I was
told that was probably it's gonna happen again. So I'm like, okay,

(12:08):
Then I'm okay, then yeah, but now so it was
the craziest thing. So so we have we board and
we fly to DC and it was actually a beautiful flight,
and we get there, nice hotel and they had everybody
staying there, all the sheriffs that was there, and and

(12:31):
it was it was it was really nice.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
It was like a who's who of all the Fox
guests and celebrities. It was amazing to see these people.
And you know, you would see them when they showed
up and they're in their cowboy hats and their best garb.
We all go to the show, we film and it's like,
oh my gosh, I'm I'm standing around amazing people. And
then the next day they're all in their sweats and
cutoffs and T shirts and kicking around looking just like

(12:54):
you and me and honestly, Jody, these are regular people
who stepped up when called to and did amazing things.
And that is why these people are what they are.
These are these these are giants. God bless each and
every one of them.

Speaker 5 (13:09):
Yeah, super nice people too. Sheriff Mark Lamb.

Speaker 4 (13:12):
I don't know if you guys know who that is,
but if you don't look him up, he's a patriot,
he's Uh. I think he's retired now and he's he's
going to get into the political world.

Speaker 3 (13:21):
Dude, is the real deal.

Speaker 5 (13:23):
Yeah, he is.

Speaker 4 (13:25):
And he's just such a nice guy. He will be
one of our guests too here in the future, in
the near future, he's gonna he's gonna come on. He's
going to talk about what he's doing and and and
you know what he's been fighting and kind of give
you guys the real deal with the rubber meets road
and what's really going on out there.

guy one hundred dollars bill. You can't avoid death and taxes. Well,

The Jody Jones Show on Power Talk ninety six seven
and AM fourteen hundred.

Speaker 4 (16:00):
We were talking about our Washington, d C. Trip, and
I just want to say real quick a shout out
and thank you to Real America Voice and a Border Story.
If you don't know who that is, please check into
it because they're real awesome and they and they they
bring the real news to the American people.

Speaker 3 (16:17):
So Real America Voice, Yes.

Speaker 4 (16:19):
Real America Voice, that's what we want. We want the
American way of life back, we want safer communities. We want, uh,
you know, just the family fell back and it is
it's it's it feels like it's coming back, even though
the legacy media wants to say that it's not. But
you know, and and President Trump and we're gonna kind
of shift gears here with some tariffs and right, and

(16:40):
and Frank, won't you won't you speak on the tariffs
a little bit and kind of get everybody kind of
just a real quick tutorial about what a tariff really is.

Speaker 3 (16:49):
Well, I'm going to start at the beginning and talk
about GDP, which is the gross domestic product, and that
is the value of everything you do, I do, we do,
from the cup of coffee you buy, to the cigarettes
to the rent you pay. Everything in America right now,
approximately twenty seven trillion dollars a year worth of value

(17:09):
gets created and exchanged. Okay, if you think about it
for a minute, Black Rock, Vanguard, State Street together, which
is pretty much one glob, their value is twenty seven
trillion dollars. So you've got one blob that is basically
equal to the United States in power. So the first
thing I'm going to say is, are elected officials honestly,

(17:33):
they answer to those three guys over there more than
they answer to the two hundred and fifty million Americans.
And if you think about two hundred and fifty million Americans,
how many of those are really taxpayers? Out of that
two hundred and fifty million, you're going to peel off
probably a quarter that are underage, because people live to
be about eighty, so a quarter that would be the
sub twenty group.

Speaker 5 (17:53):
And one more.

Speaker 4 (17:53):
Talking about taxpayers, we're talking about you guys, because yep,
you know, always remember that you are the tax payer.
You are, you know, the cash cow you are.

Speaker 3 (18:04):
Yeah, And well, then so we've taken off at twenty.
Now we got eighty percent. Now out of that eighty percent,
we've got probably fifteen twenty percent that are seventy five
sixty five and up ish that are no longer paying taxes,
that are now collecting Social Security. Then you've got the
people that don't want to work. You got the the
weed smokers playing hacky sack, you got the homeless bums

(18:24):
and whatnot. So pretty much you get down to probably
a third of the people out there are the ones
really pulling the weight. But put that aside for a minute.
So you got a twenty seven trillion dollar economy. China
their economy about half of ours, thirteen trillion ish plus
or minus. And you can correct me on this, you go,

(18:47):
actually it's thirteen point seven trillion, frank. But you know
they're about half of us. So you've got China, which
is half of us, yet they have five times the population.
So if you look at annual income of the individual
value of that human being, it takes ten Chinese people

(19:08):
to equal the economic power of one American.

Speaker 5 (19:12):
And think about that.

Speaker 3 (19:12):
Think about that crazy. And when I was talking about
how you take off for the kids, take off for this,
take off for that, those people that are irrelevant, the
true number becomes like thirty to one, forty to one.
So at thirty or forty to one, do you think
you can ever be cheaper than them, No, you can't.

Speaker 4 (19:29):
It's slave labor. It's slave slave labor in China. That's
why all the companies are going over there. That's why
everything's manufactured there, because they can literally build things for
pennies on the dollar that we build here in America.
And that's what Trump's trying to change, and wild he's
trying to fix that.

Speaker 3 (19:45):
Meanwhile, the Democratic Party's talking about reparations, slavery, racism, slavery,
and listen to me.

Speaker 4 (19:52):
Folks, it's crazy crocot over and oh yeah, Texas. Just
slavery is alive and well, folks, amazing. Slavery is alive
and well in China. Slavery is alive and well in
many parts of this world. And if you want to
buy a bunch of cheap Chinese crap, you support slavery.
You cannot have it both ways.

Speaker 3 (20:13):
You can't say I love my country and all this
and at the same time say I support slavery. These
two are diametrically opposed. They do not square.

Speaker 4 (20:23):
I would rather pay more and have things built here
in America. Yes, there's there's no doubt about it. If
somebody would come and asked me, do you want to
pay cheaper and have everybody stay there, or do you
want to pay more? I want to I would rather
pay more and have jobs here. Have companies come back
here in the United States, and we need to make

(20:43):
it easier for them to function here.

Speaker 5 (20:46):
That's why.

Speaker 4 (20:47):
That's one of the reasons why a lot of companies
are leaving California. If you listen to Gavin Newsom, that's
not the reason. No, No, he's a liar first of all.

Speaker 3 (20:55):
But if you're listening to Gavenusum, you're in the sub
one hundred IQ group and we've already did that. Yeah,
so you're right, you're a great American, Jody. You support Americans.
Most people want to have it both ways. I'm sorry,
you can't buy Chinese crap and say you support America.
You buy Chinese crap. You just voted for slavery, So

(21:17):
shut your damn mouth about equality slavery. I don't want
to hear it.

Speaker 5 (21:20):
You know.

Speaker 4 (21:20):
No, we're not saying don't buy Chinese stuff. We're saying
I love that President Trump is trying to make the
plan the playing field level.

Speaker 3 (21:31):
But it can never be level, well, not when we
are twenty to thirty times disparate. These two can never
be level. I take a tall column of water and
a short column of water, and I put a hose
between the two. They will balance, well, it could.

Speaker 4 (21:45):
It can't if we have the status quo with Trump
coming in and putting these tariffs. You know what's crazy
to me. When he was saying we're going to mirror
the tariffs, people are even yelling.

Speaker 5 (21:55):
At that right.

Speaker 3 (21:56):
It's like really.

Speaker 4 (21:56):
So what you're saying is, have a company put twenty
five percent tariff on us and we give the and
and we put three percent on them, and that's fair.

Speaker 5 (22:05):
That's not fair, guys.

Speaker 3 (22:06):
But then I can use TMU and I can buy these.

Speaker 5 (22:09):
Yeah, it's just it's amazing.

Speaker 3 (22:11):
This guy's sticking up for you. Yes, he's fighting for you,
he's protecting you. And the best you can do is
talk smack about him and try and tear him down.
This guy, You're not worthy of this president. That's what
I will tell you. You are not good enough. You are
not worthy of this country. All of the people Jody
that put this world together, that gave us this country,

(22:32):
he is one of them. He is one of the
old guard. And I'm sorry your little new age man
bun crap weasel scooter riding hackey sack playing dope smoking.

Speaker 5 (22:44):
Yeah, you know, Watchrump is a bait of mill.

Speaker 3 (22:47):
He's an alpha male.

Speaker 5 (22:48):
I know.

Speaker 4 (22:49):
I just want to say, you're looking at me like
now we all know Trum he's the real deal. Yeah,
he's the real deal.

Speaker 3 (22:58):
And I'm sorry that all you little crap wheels are
spineless and weak need because we got a man in
the White House. And I'm sorry that that intimidates you.
Maybe he looks like an uncle that did something funny
to you when you were a kid or something.

Speaker 5 (23:12):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (23:13):
You know, if he could speak as well as Obama
did or Reagan, he would probably be considered the best president. Ever, however,
most people and the people who really voted for him
think that anyway, because all right, you know, just because
he can't get up there and be as suave as
you know, as Obama or or it's just you know what,

(23:35):
that's just the way he is. That's but you know what,
I guarantee you he has America first values.

Speaker 3 (23:40):
The truth. He is in his deeds right, not in
his words right. And Obama had beautiful words. He was
full of bs. He was up until Joe Biden was installed.
Barack Obama was the largest fraud ever perpetrated on the
American people. And some of y'all are too stupid to
realize that Joe Biden was another big fraud. Kamala Harris

(24:01):
was a fraud. Fauci was a fraud. All of these things.
Tim Waltz, as a real man, was a fraud.

Speaker 6 (24:07):
You know.

Speaker 4 (24:07):
My grandfather always told me, and it's stuck with me
my whole life. Actions speak louder than the words. So
you know your actions. Think about that, guys, think about
that for a second. Actions speak louder than the words.
So what you actually do overshadows your words right every
single time.

Speaker 3 (24:28):
And I like when he uses his words and gets
their panties all twisted. I giggle to me, it's hilarious.

Speaker 5 (24:34):
Purpose yes he does.

Speaker 3 (24:36):
He pushes there button. Yeah, and they jump around, and
