Speaker 1 (00:00):
Can'f I am six forty you're listening to the John
Cobelt podcast on the iHeartRadio app. Somebody asked to do
this from one to four o'clock, then after four o'clock
if you miss stuff. John Cobelt's show on demand on
the iHeart app. Carl Demile, the Republican assemblyman from the
San Diego area, has been on our show a number

(00:21):
of times. He put out a tweet which said that
California should brace itself for more than just eight dollars
per gallon of gas. I just left the closed door
briefing for legislators. We were told the California oil industry
is on the breakup, collapse, and there's a pending pipeline
shutdown result ten to twelve dollars a gallon gas and

(00:45):
gas rationing. Well, that's four hammers to the head, right brink,
A collapse, pending pipeline shut down, ten to twelve dollars
a gallon gas rationing.

Speaker 2 (00:56):
Yikes, Carl, Yeah, no, it's alarming, and it's worse than
people can possibly imagine. And of course, the liberal media
in California either not wanting to understand or not wanting
to actually cover this because it is quite alarming. We
did get a private briefing from oil and gas industry experts.

(01:20):
They say that they're in negotiations with the governor, that
the governor knows that this crisis is happening. It's kind
of odd, though, that the governor's office just put out
a tweet saying that what I'm saying is wrong, It's
not going to happen.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
Basically, put your head back in the sand and not
worry about it. But here's what's going on.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
Nationwide, gas prices are plummeting because President Trump's energy policies
have been very successful in driving down the cost of
both oil as well as the refined gas. However, in California,
we are not going to be saved by Trump's energy
policies because we are on an energy island. We do

(01:59):
not have a pipeline that connects to the rest of
the country, and that's been the case for decades. So
we have to either pump our own oil and refine
our own oil with all these crazy regulations within our
own state, or we have to import it through these
large tankers that makes it more expensive. Of course, foreign

(02:20):
oil does not come with energy as sorry, environmental protections
the same way we have in California. So what's happened
in California is that in the past year, we typically
have three thousand permits for oil drilling.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
In the last year, we've only had.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
Forty forty four zero because News and the Democrats have
choked any ability to produce oil, making us more dependent
on foreign oil. Then secondly, they have so overregulated the
refineries that the refineries are shutting down and in fact,
Phillips sixty six and another refinery shutting down in the

(02:56):
next several months. That the twenty percent reduction in capacity
for oil refining into gakoline, Well, what does that mean
now in the state of California. We do not have
the refining capacity even if we do get the oil
to actually supply the market with enough gasoline to power
our cars, which will lead to shortages, but worse, it

(03:20):
will lead to ten to twelve dollars a yeap.

Speaker 4 (03:22):
Now, let me.

Speaker 2 (03:23):
Circle back to that pipeline issue. I was not even
aware of.

Speaker 3 (03:26):
It until the closed door briefing.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
California does have a pipeline that takes the oil from
the port as well as the oil from Central Valley
and transports it to you guess it.

Speaker 3 (03:39):
The remaining refinerments. But they need.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Enough pressure on the pipeline in order for it to
continue to operate. They also needed to economically pencil out. Unfortunately,
because no one is drilling for oil, no one is
pumping for oil in the state of California, the pipeline
is in anger of being shut down this year and

(04:02):
this would be an absolute disaster for the state. And
the industry says, it's not our job to run a
pipeline that is economically not viable. So this is going
to be the next shoe to draw. And they're saying
that this decision might be made in the next ninety
day one hundred and twenty days, and that they have
privately briefed the governor, and even the governor has realized

(04:24):
that his Green New Deal to scam have to create
a complete disaster.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
And so they're trying to come up.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
With a way to blame Traump, but they know that
this is about to happen again. This is a briefing
that Democrat policymakers have been given, the governors have been given,
and now Republicans are given this week, and it spells
a lot of pain at the pump for California consumers.
And this is despite the fact that oil gas prices

(04:52):
are lay down nationwide and so California needs I'm calling
on the governor to.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
Call emergency sessions of legislature, to.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
Stand before us and take questions himself, because this FLD
knows what's going on and created this crisis, and now
he's denying it. That's why I put out my message
to Davy and I said, look, people need to know
about this.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
I'm not going to keep this quiet. People need to know.

Speaker 2 (05:19):
They said, well, if you let this information out of
the door, then it might actually cause even more of
the market disruption. I'm sorry, more disruption than the government
bureaucrafts and politicians have created. I think they've done enough damage.
I think people deserve the truth.

Speaker 1 (05:35):
So the oil industry says they can't run the pipeline anymore.
It just doesn't work financially because there's so little oil in.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
It curently, even from an engineering standpoint, apparently they need
a certain amount of pressure and if there's not enough
oil being put through the pipeline, it put no longer works. Again,
I'm not an engineer. I'm also not an oil and
gas financial expert. But when they come and they say,
we're warning you that we're going to shut down the pipeline,

(06:05):
they've already shut down refineries. And guess what, John, They
warned us they were going to shut down the refineries,
and the politicians ignored the warnings, the media refused to
cover the warnings. And then when these refineries announced just
a couple of weeks ago that they're shutting down, everyone says, oh, well,
I guess that means we're going to hire gas prices

(06:27):
eight dollars is a best case scenario. They're now saying
ten to twelve or worse, that we literally will have
gas stations with no.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
Gas in them. Whatsoever.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
If you thought Jimmy Carter's gas crisis was bad, wait
till you see Gavin Newsom's it's about to happen.

Speaker 4 (06:46):
Is there any sign he's going to do anything about this?

Speaker 3 (06:50):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (06:50):
Yes, I was told that the governor realizes that there's
a problem and that they need to back off the
Green New Deal, but they're looking for a quote, face
saving way to do it. I'll tell you what the
face saving way is. How can we blame this on
Donald Trump? Well, guess what, Trump and take a look
at the numbers. Nationwide, oil prices have gone down substantially.

(07:12):
Gasoline prices with the refinery kicking in gone down substantially.
So Trump is actually, you know, getting the price of
oil and gas back down to where it was.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
In his first administration because of his policies.

Speaker 2 (07:26):
And so they can't easily blame it on Trump.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
And this is what the big problem is.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
They don't want to go public until they have a
way to say what's Trump's fault?

Speaker 4 (07:34):
Forty four states.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
The gas is under three point fifty a gallon in
forty four states. So if Trump had this bad, costly
energy policy, it wouldn't just be affecting California.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
I mean, we're I will tell you that I think
that the governor was cheering for a disaster with Iran
and shutting down the streets of.

Speaker 3 (07:57):
The Middle East.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
Jahrmuz so that he could easily blame it on Trump.
I'm sure that he was literally praying this weekend that
there would be a global conflict that would disrupt oil
so he could blame it on Trump and then roll
this whole thing out that did not happen. Oil and
gas prices have gone down dramatically each and every day
this week because the situation has seemingly settled down, and

(08:21):
God willing it continues to be settled down. But this
issue is going to hit California this summer. It's not
one of these things that, oh, well, the regulations kick
into effect in a few months. Yes, we have bad regulations,
but all of this is the perfect storm hitting at
the same time. And the media in California doesn't even
understand what's going on, and they're certainly not prepared.

Speaker 4 (08:43):
To doesn't understand it.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
You you explained it in three and a half lines
in your expost. It's three and a half lines.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
I've been covering the oil disruption and the refinery regulations
and the carb and the gas tax issues. I didn't
know about the engineering challenges with this pipeline and how
dependent we are on it. I knew that we were
in an oil a gas desert. You know, we're basically
an island here in California. We're not connected to the
rest of the country. So it's impossible for us to

(09:17):
solve this issue unless we literally go to foreign countries
and say, can you please now instead of just shipping
us oil, we need you to refine gasoline in your
foreign country and ship us in tankers at a very
expensive cost refined gasoline to our state standards.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
I think that's where the governors go on.

Speaker 2 (09:39):
I think that's where the governor is going to ultimately
land is we're going to buy all of our gasoline
refined from foreign countries. Great, We're going to outsource all
of our energy sector to all other countries.

Speaker 1 (09:48):
Which is going to cost a fortune. Carl, thank you
for coming on. Let us know when you learn more.
All right, thank you, Carl Demiel.

Speaker 5 (09:55):
You're listening to John Cobelt on demand from KFI A sixty.

Speaker 1 (10:02):
We're on from one until four on the Natal four
o'clock John Cobel Show on demand on the iHeart app.
This is really concerning. There's a story in the California
Globe that Kamala Harris is now leaning toward running for
California governor.

Speaker 4 (10:19):
That that that is just that's very upsetting.

Speaker 1 (10:25):
Because there's so many morons in the state that would
vote for her.

Speaker 4 (10:30):
Can you can you imagine?

Speaker 1 (10:32):
This is the woman who spent four years where her
her chief responsibility was the border, and while she was
in charge of the border, ten million people came over
and then Trump shut it in an afternoon. So I wait,

(10:54):
can you imagine imagine working for the company and somebody
has four years to accomplish a task and then the
replacement gets it done in a matter of hours. Yeah,
she's governor material. This is the woman who insisted passionately

(11:14):
that Joe Biden was really smart, energetic, sharp, on top
of things. He wasn't seen how she'd get mad. She
get really angry, especially after the debate. I remember she
blew up at Anderson Cooper because he was suggesting that
Biden was done cooked. She said something like, you can't

(11:39):
let an hour and a half undo all the accomplishments
of the last three and a half years, all the
accomplishments like the ten million people who came over the border.
This is the woman who, when questioned by her own
pals on the view if she would do anything different
if she became president, anything different and then Biden, she says,

(12:01):
I would do nothing different. Nothing comes to mind off
the top of my head. Nothing comes to mind.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
Now.

Speaker 1 (12:08):
I just finished that Jake tapperbook, which I periodically have
been mentioning nobody, and this was part of the problem.
Nobody in the Biden camp thought she should be anywhere
near the presidency. Not only did they not think she
could win, that she couldn't be near the presidency because

(12:29):
they all thought.

Speaker 4 (12:30):
They all thought she was a dope.

Speaker 1 (12:33):
You know, if you got him drunk enough or gave
him a sodium petathaw, I bet you nearly every one
of them said, uh no, no, no, we got a
stupido here. And only in California, every other state, if
Kamala Harris was running for governor should get laughed out,
only here would she immediately be the front runner. The

(12:57):
thing is, it's not like she's a secret. She's been
in face for many years now and and and now
she runs for governor. And apparently the other candidates there's
you know, there's there's a lot of Democratic candidates. You
haven't heard of them because they haven't accomplished anything in life.
They many of them serve in the Newsom administration. So

(13:21):
at every one of them agrees with Newsom on almost
everything I believe in men.

Speaker 4 (13:26):
Including that guy.

Speaker 1 (13:31):
He's he's edging a little bit away from Newsom because
he's not in the administration. The other word, the others
have to go back to their day job. We're Newsom's boss.
But you know, Tony Vallar is out there. Tony Vallar
is in his early seventies. Now I think he's still
running around chasing women. One of the women guys, is

(13:52):
he still grabbing around there?

Speaker 4 (13:54):
You ever meet him? No? I did not. Oh so
you never took a shot at you? He would have.
You never know he liked Anchor. Women know off too,
one of the women guys at least do so her.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
Kamila Harris's friends such as they are. Well, she can
run for governor, or she could run for president twenty
twenty eight.

Speaker 4 (14:23):
That's looking good.

Speaker 1 (14:25):
Or she could just retire and hide and stop bothering us.
How about that? How about if we did a cofundme
to convince her to stay home.

Speaker 4 (14:34):
She doesn't need the money. What's her husband doing? Now? See?
You see? Yeah? Is he given face slapping classes? Remind
me I have a story to tell you off the air.
I can't say it on the air.

Speaker 1 (14:50):
I come on, no, I can't about him, doug.

Speaker 4 (14:54):
Em Yeah he didn't slap you, did he? No? All right,
so you have don't be don't be starting rumors like that.

Speaker 1 (15:00):
Okay, So you where grew up? I ver and you
weren't smacked by Doug Amon. Now you think you can
Kama get into it because she supposedly is a bad
temper too. That might be entertaining. One of her friends,
still talking about Kama Uh says, she has a glimmer

(15:25):
in her eyes, a glimmer.

Speaker 4 (15:31):
She must be thinking about something. Is that because her
eyes are glazed over. She has a lot of people
in her ear. How do they fit?

Speaker 1 (15:44):
Telling her that it makes the most sense and she
can do the most good. What is the most good
she could.

Speaker 4 (15:49):
Do as governor here? Exactly?

Speaker 1 (15:52):
What are the lists of things that she would do differently?
It's the same question about that she couldn't answer about Biden.
What would you do differently than Gavin Newsom?

Speaker 4 (16:02):
Spread some joy?

Speaker 1 (16:06):
That's right, there's not enough joy coming out of Gavin.
I mean, because she let so many millions come over
the border. Now Trump's got to send ice in comes
to La just to enforce the law.

Speaker 4 (16:28):
Now we're getting riots. You see, it.

Speaker 1 (16:31):
All goes back to her. She's responsible for. Does anybody
think she'd be criticizing the riots now? I mean Karen
Bastrom criticized the riots. Kamala would be standing right between
Kamala Harris and that nuttie, Cynthia Gonzales, she'd be up there.
But she's she's leading the polls for governor, and she's

(16:54):
still leading presidential polls on the Democratic side for twenty
twenty eight. Think about that. We've got I think we've
got about three hundred and forty five million people in
the United States, three hundred and twenty five of them
are legal, and another those three hundred and twenty five million,
we have exactly one person, one woman here, who's leading

(17:19):
the race for governor.

Speaker 4 (17:20):
Of California.

Speaker 1 (17:22):
And for president of the United States on the Democratic side.

Speaker 4 (17:26):
Isn't that fascinating? Now?

Speaker 1 (17:29):
We probably all know at least ten people in our
lives who are smarter and more accomplished than Kamala Harris's,
and yet none of these people are ever going to
run for office, will never hear about them.

Speaker 4 (17:49):
She's the only one left.

Speaker 1 (17:51):
She's the only one who could who could serve as
president or serve as governor on the Democratic side. That's
the that's the that's the top talent.

Speaker 4 (18:01):
Huh ah. That's a direct quote. Yesterday. All right, we're
coming up.

Speaker 5 (18:11):
You're listening to John Cobels on demand from KFI A
six forty.

Speaker 1 (18:17):
John Manley with Manley Stuart Finaldi is one of the
managing partners and he's been on our show many times
fighting to get justice for kids and students who've been
abused by priests and coaches and teachers and just all
the terrible things that go on. And he was heavily
involved in the Larry Nasser case, that was the Olympic

(18:38):
coach who was sexually abusing some of the athletes. Now
he's representing Lolo Jones, a three time Olympian who she
was suspended and denied medical care for a serious back
injury after getting into a verbal fight with a US
Olympic official. They just treat some athletes very badly, and

(19:01):
that whole circus is coming to la in just a
few years. Let's get John Manley on, John.

Speaker 6 (19:05):
How are you hey, John, how are you doing?

Speaker 4 (19:08):
I'm all right?

Speaker 1 (19:08):
Tell us so Lolo Jones is and what kind of
treatment she's getting from the US Olympic Committee.

Speaker 6 (19:14):
So Lolo Jones is one of the greatest runners in
the history of our country. She's a two thousand and
eight Olympian, it was another Olympics and she's now forty two,
she transitioned out of sprinting. She was also a world
champion MCAA champion into bob sledding and she's the fastest
breakeman in the US on the bob sled team. And

(19:38):
she's of course preparing for the Olympics, the Winter Olympics
next year in Italy. On February twenty eighth, she was
working on an experimental sled with other team members and
during that run, she felt a searing pain on her
back and you know, embarrassing, but it's public. She urinated

(20:02):
on herself, which is an indication of a serious neurological issue.
There's this woman's not afraid of anything. She's an incredible
athlete and you know, is a has literally given everything
to compete for her country. This is what she does.
And she presented herself at the medical clinic at five

(20:24):
o'clock where she'd had a miss. She'd scheduled a massage
to try and work on it, and the head of
medical at the US Olympic Training Center said leave, and
she goes, I'm in agony, I'm I'm I'm urinated on myself.
I need attention, and they basically said get out of here.

(20:46):
They said, well, you're a terrible blank person, and for
that they let her compete, you know, in something else,
so she could. But after that she's been suspended. And
the thing that's really strange about this is that if

(21:11):
if anybody being denied medical care and emergency situations a
violation of medical ethics, it's a violation of New York law,
it's a violation of California law. And I've been trying
to help her get back because if she can't, she
can't practice on a Bob Sled. The only other Bob
said track that's available to her would be in Austria.

(21:32):
So she's had so to get treatment, she had to
go to Louisiana, where she's from. Why she she's from Iowa.
She went to college and she's been training at LSU
for free. But she has no access to Bob Sled.
She had a herniated discs she had to have a
surgery cost her thirty thousand dollars. She has no support

(21:53):
from them, the Olympic Committee.

Speaker 4 (21:54):
Well why are they so?

Speaker 1 (21:56):
Why did they deny her medical care to begin with
before she had last staff?

Speaker 6 (22:01):
So that's that's the question. And basically with the USO,
US Olympic Committee, and as President Sarah Hirschland puts out,
there is that oh, we're here for the athletes. Where
there's the athletes are treated like garbage by the medical staff.
They're not the customer. Honestly, prison medicine is better. They're
the prisoners are treated with more respect than our than

(22:23):
our Olympic athletes.

Speaker 1 (22:24):
But I mean it's a medical treatment is so intertwined
with having successful athletes.

Speaker 4 (22:30):
Why would they do that.

Speaker 6 (22:32):
Well, because it's it for them, it's not about the athletes.
USOPC is a partner in LA twenty twenty eight and
they stand to make hundreds of millions, if not a
billion dollars. The way athletes are treated, unless you're at
the very pinnacle, uh, you know, somebody like Simone Biles,
who I represented, they get treated differently. But if you're

(22:54):
if you don't have that kind of outside support, you
have to deal with these people, and they treat our
athletes and many instances like second class citizens. You know,
medical doctors and there are staff should be the medical
staff for these olympians should be treating them like the
valuable pieces of human gold that they are, and like,
for example, you only can get one massage a week.

(23:17):
I mean, these these are the best athlete for the
world and the USOPC only gives them one massage a week.
And if you look at the USOPC board, one of
the board members is a guy named doctor Vivec Murtry,
who was Joe Biden, certain general big, you know, big
on trans stuff, and you know all this other crap,

(23:38):
and you know they're they're so busy. They finally pulled
their trans policy down the other day. They're so busy
doing other stuff other than focusing on what they should
be focused on, which is winning medals and taking care
of the athletes that compete. And to bring this full
circle with NASA, this is exactly what happened with Larry Nass.

(24:00):
No one had a voice. You can't speak up for
your doctor. And while I'm certainly not accusing of the
person involved here of sexual abuse, you know it's we're
ten years down the line from the NASAAR scandal and
nothing has changed. And frankly, what needs to happen is
Congress needs to clean house at the Olympic Committee, which
they have the authority to do. They need a clean
house at the medical and really change the medicine so

(24:23):
athletes can compete. And I would just ask your folks
to please call the uh uh. If it's okay, I'd
like to give their number action. But if it's uh,
please call the USOPC and demand that Lolo b I
red and stated, so she can compete for our country
and we can win a medal. It's seven to one
nine six three two five five five to one. And

(24:45):
this woman is a hero. And you know, simply because
you express disappointment and use a curse word there, you
know how many other athletes get, you know, and they're
they're all over the place.

Speaker 1 (24:57):
Peoples on TV at your sporting events all day and night.

Speaker 6 (25:01):
And oh no, you can't get medical treatment. You got
to go pay for your surgery on your own when
you were injured competing for the US. What the hell
is going on?

Speaker 4 (25:08):
All right?

Speaker 1 (25:08):
I got I gotta do the news by just give
the number right again, seven seven nine six three two
five five one one.

Speaker 6 (25:13):
That's what you said, triple five to one, five five five.

Speaker 1 (25:18):
To one, okay, seven and seven nine six three two
five five five one.

Speaker 6 (25:23):
Okay, Yeah, thanks for that. The encouraging news about the
gas A real uploading, I know, I know.

Speaker 4 (25:29):
Yours.

Speaker 1 (25:29):
Yours was actually the lightest moment of the show so far.
All right, John Many, thank you for coming on.

Speaker 5 (25:36):
You're listening to John Cobelt on demand from KFI AM
six forty.

Speaker 1 (25:41):
We're on every day from one until four o'clock and
then after four o'clock John Cobelt Show on demand on
the iHeart app. Also, you can follow us at John
Cobolt Radio on social media and John Cobelt Radio.

Speaker 4 (25:52):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (25:53):
This was a decision that had been in the works
for many weeks. A federal jivee says Los Angeles has
failed with its homelessness program, So keep that at top
of mind next time you see Karen Bass open her
mouth and try to make claims about homelessness, she's lying.

(26:18):
Same thing with any of the La County Board of
Supervisors such as Hildes Elise or Jannis Hahn or Holly Mitchell.
They're lying. If you know the Lindsay corvask because LASA,

(26:38):
as you know, is a disaster. They have taken billions
of dollars in tax money, and we have more homeless
than ever. Karen Bass routinely issued statements claiming that they've
taken x number of homeless people off the street. They
have put them indoors one way or the other, inside safe.
You know, she doesn't talk about inside safe much anymore.

(27:01):
They ran out of money for that and it didn't work.
So whoever they put inside to be safe are going
to be outside and in your face. There was a
big lawsuit that was finally decided this week. There's a
group called La Alliance. It's a coalition of residents and
business owners and some people from legitimate nonprofits and they

(27:27):
sued the city. And this is the third time there's
been a legal settlement. There was one in twenty twenty one,
in twenty twenty two, and now we have a third
settlement in twenty twenty five. And the reason there are
three settlements, the reason there's been three lawsuits. As Karen
Bass and before her, Eric Carcetti flat out wasted the

(27:49):
money lied. Same thing with the La County Board of Supervisors.
Much of the money has been stolen. That's why you
have homeless people running amok. In fact, we got to
play the clip in Brentwood. A gardener was getting whacked
in the head repeatedly by a shirtless, bearded homeless guy

(28:09):
with a stick and it's hit all corners of the city,
and it's not getting any better. And it's hard to
get better when you have an entire bureaucracy of city,
county and lots of workers who actively steal the money,
who steer the tax dollars to nonprofits who steal the money.

(28:34):
They're politically connected nonprofits. I'll give you an example. Judged
Carter issued a sixty two page ruling found that Karen
Bass and the city repeatedly missed deadlines, misrepresented data that
is a fancy legal term for lying, and failed to
provide document credible documentation for the first two sets. And

(29:04):
the plaintiffs wanted the court to impose receivership, and Carter
decided not to do that. It would have to be
an even more extraordinary situation, I guess. But he had
ordered an audit conducted by Alvarez and Marcel. The city

(29:28):
had claimed that had created sixty seven hundred shelter beds.
The audit could not verify those numbers because the numbers
were made up. They didn't have sixty seven hundred beds.
Imagine you'd tell a judge there's sixty seven hundred beds.
All you got to do is get a list of addresses,
walk inside the buildings and count the beds. I guess

(29:51):
there were no addresses, no beds. And here here is
the worst of it. More than two point three billion
dollars in homeless spending could not be fully tracked poor
record keeping. What does that mean? Poor record keeping means

(30:12):
no record keeping. They didn't fill it out. Nonprofits got
lots of money, lots of city tax payer dollars, and
they never had to write down and improve where the
money went. How about that the city didn't provide complete

(30:34):
data such as it was. Remember most of it's not
written down. But whoever they had, they never provided it
until after the evidence phase, and only under.

Speaker 4 (30:43):
Direct court order.

Speaker 1 (30:45):
So what little paperwork they had that delineated where the
money went, they had to get a court order a
threat from the judge to do it. You remember Karen
Bass hired eleven lawyers to prevent her from testifying eleven
because she has to testify under oath and she can't lie.

(31:07):
She go to prison for burgery. So our tax money
went to eleven lawyers to protect her. The spreadsheet they
did submit revealed a lot of double counting and false reporting.
Judge Carter wrote, the pattern is clear. Documentation is withheld

(31:29):
until exposure is intimate imminent, public accountability is resisted until
juditionally mandated, and the truth of reported progress remains clouded
by evasive record keeping. And that part is probably the
most important. Whenever you hear Karen Bass claim that they

(31:50):
or Karen Bass, who's that little weasel a spokeshall, Zack's
sidel they're always making claims about getting people off the street.
They're lying, Judge said, So the truth of reported progress
is clouded by evasive record keeping. They just don't write
anything down, so they you know, if there's no evidence,

(32:13):
there's no crime.

Speaker 4 (32:13):
Right.

Speaker 1 (32:16):
I could go on, but you get the idea. And
what's really galling is a majority of people in La
County voted to raise the sales tax, to double the
sales tax that's directed to homelessness, just this past November.
That's why sales tax is at it all time high,
and the money is going into the black hole. And

(32:39):
Judge Carter's looking down the hole and he can't see
where it went because they're intentionally lying and covering it up.
And because the information doesn't exist, the records don't exist,
you can't even charge Karen Bass with a crime?

Speaker 4 (32:54):
Can you?

Speaker 1 (32:56):
And she hired eleven lawyers to make sure that she
can't be questioned more Coming up Deborah Mark live in
