Speaker 1 (00:00):
Can't.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
I am six forty.

Speaker 3 (00:02):
You're listening to the John Cobel Podcast on the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
We are on every day.

Speaker 3 (00:07):
Between one and four o'clock and then after four o'clock
John Cobelt Show on demand on the iHeart app. We've
got two rounds of the Moistline coming up at three
twenty and three point fifty, and we've got some Tom
Holman to play. I enjoy Tom Homan more than any
other government official right now because he never ever backs down.

(00:33):
All these reporters and anchors, many of them try to
get him to somehow. They tried to want to shame
him because he's not empathetic and sensitive enough that they
will not. They want him to finally break down and
give in to all their progressive demands. The way they
frame questions, the way they frame these stories. I mentioned

(00:56):
this first thing on the first thing on the show
you figure out to listen to the one o'clock hour.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
We talked about this at length.

Speaker 3 (01:02):
First thing I talked about is how you look at
the La Times and the story is about these chaotic
protests over the immigration raid, and it takes seven paragraphs
before the La Times writers. Maybe I'll talk about the skin.
Later in the hour, seven paragraphs before they mentioned that

(01:24):
ten child slaves, child labor slaves were pulled out of
this plotfarm. Seventh paragraph in to me, what do you
I don't know, what do you think? Did you think
the biggest story here is that there was there were
There were ten children being forced into slave labor, ten

(01:45):
illegal alien kids. Eight of them had no parents. This
is what this is. I always hear parents send their
children to have a better life.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
They sold their.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
Children into slavery, or worse, they paid for their children
to end up as slaves because of the drug car
tells that Karen Bass and Gavin Newsom have tolerated.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
In this state. Getting all revved up again.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
I'll talk more about that after three thirty. But what
you had is in Texas you had ten ten people arrested.
And I was going to say ten guys, but some
of them were women and two of them were trans women.
Guys who claim their women. And I am reading that
increasingly in the with these protesters, these violent protesters, there

(02:35):
seems to be an increasing contingent of men who claim
their women.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Now I don't know.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
What that psychological process is about, but Byron new York
wrote about it today in the in the Washington Times,
and it seems that when they when they when they
bust these these protesters, like the really hardcore violent Antifa
type ones, there's a significant percentage of men who are
trained or claiming to be women.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
What is that.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
They want to be women, They want to be more feminized,
and they're acting out with the worst violence imaginable, trying
to kill people, trying to kill ice agents and border
patrol agents. Anyway, with with this this plotform standoff that
we all enjoyed yesterday, we're going to play you some

(03:27):
Tom Holman, he is the borders are he's in charge
of immigration enforcement here internally, and let's start with let's
start with cut number seven. He's on Fox and Friends.

Speaker 4 (03:40):
You know, people who are walcome to protests to have
their first a member of rights grew up. They can't
cross that line. They can't impede us from.

Speaker 5 (03:47):
Doing our job.

Speaker 4 (03:48):
That's a felony. They certainly can't put arms, put hands
on an agent. That's a felony. So what happened in
California is just another example of protest becoming criminals. And
they've been bolden by even members of Congress who compared
I used to Nazis and races and terrorists. I mean
the rhetoric is so high, and I said two months
ago is going to end up with a loss of life.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
Then Homan went on a Politico podcast. Political is a
a politics website and they have a podcast called The
Conversation hosted by Dasha Burns, and Holman is asked if
farm workers will get amnesty from it.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
I mean this is a go ahead.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
I mean this is a tough needle to thread for
you guys, because really whatever you call it, a touchback
program like worker carveouts, MAGA is going to see this
as amnesty. So how do you thread that needle?

Speaker 4 (04:41):
And does bring the vision there will there will be
no amnesty. I'm just telling you whether you know, again
the presence leading the change on this or leading the
discussion on this, and we'll see what comes out of it.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
But how do you bring the piece along though on
whatever change?

Speaker 4 (04:57):
Look instigration, What you need to understand is immigration enforcement
has always been controversial. It's always been emotional my whole career.
I've seen a lot of terrible things. Everybody has an
opinion on immigration, but if they don't know what we know.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
They don't know what I know.

Speaker 5 (05:15):
They don't know.

Speaker 4 (05:16):
There's no such thing as innocent illegal immigration. Illegal immigration
is not the victims crime. These people go through hell
getting here, Many spend years paying off their smuggling fees.
They're abused through the process. And you know, we're in
national laws. We'll enforced the laws. So again, you know,
I don't want to get too far into into the
weeds in thisstry because this discussion is just starting. Yeah,

(05:38):
we got the best minds in the government, with decades
of experience on immigration policy, immigration enforcement, border security, all
getting together and developing policies that make sense for this country.
And I got total faith in the President that he's
going to come out with the right recipe.

Speaker 5 (05:53):
And off.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
And he's right.

Speaker 3 (05:56):
Is that having the open porter has led to so
much horror, especially for the women and children who were
trafficked by the drug cartels, the smuggling cartels for sex.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
How much violence.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
Has been committed against women and children, and our country
was a willing partner in this. We enriched the cartels
by billions of dollars. I don't know why this isn't
a constant discussion going on. It's like, how do we
have a federal government because in effect a partner of

(06:31):
these cartels.

Speaker 2 (06:33):
This is just a tiny example.

Speaker 3 (06:35):
Yesterday in Camarillo, ten kids forced into slave labor. I
hear some of these ninnies going, well, yeah, you're gonna
go after the workers and then then you're gonna have
expensive strawberries. And I'm thinking, is that what you're about?
You want cheaper strawberries, so you're willing to have illegal

(06:56):
alien children work as slave laborers so you could pay
less for your freaking sh strawberries. That These are the
comments I see on the West side on the next
door app. These these weird old biddies and they ride
all day on the next door app arguing, arguing over
Trump mostly, and they're appalled by the immigration actions, and

(07:18):
they're always carrying on about the price of strawberries. It's
like that, you are really effed up. So so so
we have we have little kids as slave labor. No parents.
Parents are considered so noble because they're giving their kids
a better life, sending them across the border. In Mexico, Jesus,
people are screwed up. There's like nobody living in reality.

(07:43):
So here here's just a run through that Byron York
wrote about what happened in Texas. This was a violent
ambush uh at a the ICE detention center in Alvarado
on the fourth of July, and this comes from the
Justice Department, the criminal complaint.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
I'll go through it briefly.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
Ten to twelve individuals wearing all black shot fireworks at
the detention center. A few minutes later, a couple of
attackers broke off from the main group and started painting
graffiti and damaging vehicles. They spray painted ice pig. They
were trying to lure the ICE agents or the Border

(08:30):
agents out of the building. Then an Alvarado Police Department
car pulled up. The officer got out of his vehicle
and somebody in the woods opened fire, shooting him in
the neck. Then there was a guy in a green
mask that started firing two at the correctional officers who

(08:53):
were standing near the police car. They fired twenty to
thirty rounds and it was amazing that none of the
other shots hit anybody. They stopped a driver who is
driving a red Hyundai van. His name was Bradford Morris.
Inside the car was a black pistol. Two AR fifteen

(09:15):
rifles two kevlar ballistic vests, a ballistic helmet. He had
a loaded magazine in his pocket that matched the pistol,
a handheld radio. Bradford Morris goes by a different name,
Megan Morris. And there's another guy named Cameron Arnold. He
has a different named Autumn Hill. Bradford and Cameron go

(09:35):
by Megan in Autumn. And apparently, in what has become
something of a pattern in violent far left extremism, at
least two of the ten people are transgender women men
who say they're women, and this is popping up more
and more. Then they found seven more suspects dressed all

(09:58):
in black military style clothing, body armor covered with mud,
some armed, some had radios. They found additional firearms, magazine
containing ammunition, twelve sets of body armor, and I can
go on and on. This is why, this is why
the ICE agents are coming into armored vehicles. They're wearing

(10:19):
body armor, they have big, ugly weapons, they're wearing masks.
Because this is going on. You got crazed transgenders with
AR fifty rifles trying to blow the heads off of
the ICE agents. And then there was a guy yesterday
and Camrio was shooting at the ice agents. All right,
we'll continue. We got out round of the moistline, coming up.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
Two rounds.

Speaker 6 (10:43):
You're listening to John Cobelt on demand from KFI AM
six forty.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
It's time for round one of the moistlines. Man sehn
thing you're calling the moistline.

Speaker 3 (10:55):
I'm so excited to hear from you.

Speaker 7 (10:57):
Come bap time, trumpthing, Gaven someone, Karen Bass, if Trump
as a leader, Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass or just
community organizers.

Speaker 3 (11:08):
We need to get over the boat and the absolute
nuts that get all these getting its out of here.

Speaker 6 (11:14):
They want to start barnment, they want to support criminal
gang members in foreign government.

Speaker 3 (11:18):
Get them part of our country.

Speaker 8 (11:19):
Now.

Speaker 9 (11:20):
I got no dog in the fight here about immigration,
but for Karen Boss to all the southern one or
evict police from MacArthur Park. I mean, come on, homeless,
drug dealing, You buy anything illegal in MacArthur Park and
she moves it.

Speaker 10 (11:36):
How can Karen Bass be on TV and then it
is right now lying after saying the truth must be told,
she says nothing wrong is going on in MacArthur Park.

Speaker 8 (11:46):
We've all been there.

Speaker 10 (11:47):
We all know what MacArthur Park looks like.

Speaker 11 (11:50):
We all know the lawlessness there.

Speaker 10 (11:52):
How can she be taken seriously whatsoever at.

Speaker 3 (11:57):
Anything she says?

Speaker 10 (11:58):
If this is her stance, What God's name is wrong
with these people? At what point does it become irresponsible
and even negligent for us to continue to take immigrants
from other countries when we don't even have enough funds
to take care of our veterans and our old people
and are homeless. It's just absolutely maddening that it's even
used as an excuse.

Speaker 12 (12:18):
I just don't understand how we can sustain it.

Speaker 4 (12:22):
I completely agree with you on the whole immigration thing.

Speaker 13 (12:27):
My mom had to wait in Italy as a refugee
for five or six.

Speaker 12 (12:31):
Years before they could come over here too.

Speaker 14 (12:34):
So like, yeah, it sucked where they lived, but they
still had to wait five.

Speaker 9 (12:40):
Six years to come over here.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
Yeah, I have no sympathy for people.

Speaker 13 (12:45):
You know, if we could get Gavin Newsom in prison
or arrested or jailed for treason.

Speaker 14 (12:50):
That may help Gavin Newsom's presidential aspirations. Look what it
did for Trump.

Speaker 5 (12:56):
This is part of their plan.

Speaker 8 (12:58):
If they actually fix then they're out of the job.

Speaker 5 (13:02):
Think about it.

Speaker 9 (13:03):
Karen Bass, she's on the take.

Speaker 13 (13:07):
I'm listening to Mayor Bass talk about on American and outrageous.
She's the one that's on American and outrageous. She doesn't
want to have her laws enforced. She spent her youth
going to Cuba. But she's a crazy comy.

Speaker 8 (13:19):
Isn't it funny?

Speaker 15 (13:20):
We never heard of Karen Bass and Gavin Newsom complaining
about Obama when he was enforcing immigration.

Speaker 8 (13:28):
Why is that?

Speaker 9 (13:29):
Where's the handcufts hat?

Speaker 3 (13:31):
So Karen Bass?

Speaker 9 (13:32):
And that's for this rhetoric?

Speaker 12 (13:35):
Is Karen Bass on crack? What kid in their right
mind would go to MacArthur Park for a camp. People
don't even want to cross the street down there. You
can't even go to Langers anymore. What the hell kind
of rock has she been living under?

Speaker 8 (13:53):
I don't even.

Speaker 7 (13:54):
Want to hear her say the word Angelina anymore.

Speaker 12 (13:57):
It's time to get rid of her.

Speaker 8 (13:59):
MacArthur Park has been a drug den and a sewer
for decades. I don't blame Ice for showing up with
the National Guard and anybody else. They need to protect themselves,
but that's where most of the criminals are. Bass has
been releasing criminals back into the community for years. That's
where they are.

Speaker 11 (14:19):
She was on her way to go talk about Altadena
and Palisades and turned around and went to MacArthur Park
instead and gave a press conference where she started talking
about that again, putting the illegal immigrants ahead of American citizens.

Speaker 16 (14:34):
Debra, you gotta remember you're talking to John here. Okay,
you might like animals, but he ain't. Gonn risked his
life to save one, so anyway, I'm on his side.
Fire for the Turtle.

Speaker 5 (14:48):
Bay, Deborah, it's called Darwinism. When are we going to
find out the cause of the Fallasades fire? It's been
six months by now they know what the cause was.
I'm wondering if the city lass Angelis is afraid that
they determine the cause was because of incompetence, that they
could be sued even more. But we need to know
what the cause was.

Speaker 9 (15:08):
Hey, John, right next door to you, Arizona for regular
gas two ninety a gallon. Hey Deborah, please don't turn
into a violent vegan.

Speaker 3 (15:17):
We love you, thank you for leaving your message.

Speaker 7 (15:20):
Please hang up good time.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
That's the next revolution. No no, no, no, you're secretly
a violent vegan. No violent, I'm a vegan. I'm not
a violent or militant vegan.

Speaker 3 (15:34):
That's right, you're a peaceful vegan. Very it's the first
round of the moistline. And we got round two coming
up in around twenty twenty five minutes or so, and
just what one woman said, I you know what, I
overlooked that point. Karen Bass was on our way to
a news conference about the fire Palisades fire newsome showed

(15:58):
up alone and she stayed to get into a shouting
match with ICE agents and one of the ICE supervisors
on the phone, and then she started shouting at the
news reporters over it. And she never did get to
that press conference, that news event on the fires, where

(16:21):
she should have been asked why after all the promises
she made live on television with Trump sitting right there.
She promised that they were going to streamline and make
it easy to get permits to rebuild. And the whole
permit system is confused, congested, it's not working, permits aren't coming.

(16:42):
And Rick Caruso has offered an AI system, AI software
that works. It would reduce the wait times from months
to hours. It's called, you know, to do plan check,
and they're not using it. And I don't know if
any of the idiot reporters. I'm telling you, with a

(17:04):
few exceptions, we really have a bunch of idiot news
reporters in this state. They should be banging on Bassist
door and saying, why don't you do the permits. That's
why I'm telling you this is not an accident, it's
not a coincidence. No permits. They're going to pass a
law so that developers can buy lots and build apartment

(17:27):
buildings for low income people, and Gavin Newsom is kicking
in one hundred million tax dollars to start it. This
is on purpose. They want to exhaust you, so you
sell your property and get out of town. And they're
going to replace the wealthier people in the Palisades with poor,
low income people and make it into a socialist heaven,

(17:51):
because in their minds, it's not fair that those wealthier
people have enjoyed the Palisades for the last hundred years.
We have to give it over to the very poor.
And that's what Karen Bass and Newsom wants to engineer.
And I know we hit a nerve with Newsom because
he posted something very nasty on X today. I'll read

(18:16):
that coming up next and we'll talk. We'll talk more
about the Camerio situation yesterday.

Speaker 6 (18:24):
You're listening to John Cobels on demand from KFI.

Speaker 2 (18:28):
A six forty coming up.

Speaker 3 (18:30):
We got round two of the Moistline. Fred Rogan coming
in for Tim Conway. We'll talk to him in a
few minutes. I wanted to get into a little more
that we're learning about the raid yesterday at the pot
farm in cama Rio, which I don't know why people
seem to be horrified by this or even surprised by this,
but there were a couple of hundred illegal aliens that
rounded up, and it turns out it was a child

(18:51):
slave labor operation.

Speaker 2 (18:52):
Ten ten kids they rescued.

Speaker 3 (18:55):
They rescued these kids from the clutches of company called
what Glasshouse Farms.

Speaker 2 (19:04):
They're employing.

Speaker 3 (19:06):
Young kids to work on a pot farm. They have
no parents. Eight of the ten had no parents. And
this was everybody's angry about Ice rescuing the kids instead
of being angry with this company whose president gave ten
thousand dollars to news them as a political contribution some
years ago, and whose business provides a lot of tax

(19:31):
money because pot is taxed quite highly, so I could
see why knew some wouldn't particularly care to see this
guy's company get busted because they depend on a lot
of the tax money and they depend on this guy
for political contributions. So we'll get into that in just
a moment. But La Times has another I read these
stories and I just laugh. It's absurd they haven't update.

(19:59):
Ice agents arrested a woman named Adrianna Bernal recently. She
was at the Airport courthouse and she apparently was part
of one of those South American burglary gangs, and the
ICE agents were waiting for her in the courtroom when

(20:20):
Bernal and two other defendants were supposed to appear, and
as they were leading her out, The Times hysterically describes
us as the woman was led towards a black truck
with tinted windows, as one onlooker screams, oh my god,
oh my god, repeatedly. It's what the horror of an

(20:42):
illegal alien criminal being taken away by Ice at the courthouse.
And she was going to appear for early disposition in
a case where she and two other defendants were charged
with organized retail theft, grand theft, possession of burglary tools.

(21:07):
One of Brnauf's co defendants was also detained by ICE,
and there's a spokesman for the Alternate Public Defender's office,
the Alternate Public.

Speaker 2 (21:18):
Defender's office, what the hell is that? And this woman's.

Speaker 3 (21:22):
Outraged because ICE came in and she wants to know
if local law enforcement or the DA's office knew that
this was going on. It's an organized retail theft syndicate
with members from South America. We've talked about that, how
many times they're from Chile and other countries down there.

(21:46):
But we can't deport criminals awaiting their hearings. Really, well,
it's a sake the the federal court the building is
where the county court building is a sacred place, just
just to port them, save us the money. She's not

(22:07):
a she's not a murderer, so what the hell. She's
stealing a lot of stuff. She's in an organization that
steals for that's their way of life, that's their living.
So yeah, you know she's going to be their grabber.
I don't understand the reactions here. These are bad people.

(22:30):
Now back to the farm yesterday, the potfarm. I can't
believe this a pot farm that's useful. It's all the
stupid people stumbling around all day stoned. Uh, this is
one of the biggest pot growing fields in the whole state.

Speaker 2 (22:47):
Two hundred arrested.

Speaker 3 (22:51):
And you know, because we want cheap marijuana, right, what's
the what's the if we hire Americans to do this,
then the pot would cost too much. We wouldn't want
that glasshouse farms. It's a cannabis greenhouse in Camario. And
then thirty five miles up the coast in Carpenteria, the

(23:11):
ICE agents entered another glasshouse property, you know, and crowds
were gathering and they were angry, and one guy had
a gun and was firing, firing at the ICE agents,
and the ICE agents were setting off tear gas. But
they find they find ten kids, eight of them without

(23:32):
parents or guardians working.

Speaker 2 (23:34):
They're forced to work there. They had a federal search warrant.

Speaker 6 (23:41):
Bill A.

Speaker 3 (23:42):
Saley put out on ext Federal agents had a search warrant.
They arrested several individuals for impeding the operation and warned
if you interfere, you'll be arrested and charged with a
federal offense. I guess they're going to have to keep
doing this and keep doing this until everybody gets it.
As long as Trump is president, he's gonna have Tom

(24:03):
Homan running things. We got bill of sale's the US attorney.
They mean business. You can't be employing hundreds of illegal
aliens to grow pot, and you can't have little children,
teenagers working as slave laborers for you. After the smuggling

(24:24):
cartel brought them over.

Speaker 8 (24:27):
I don't care.

Speaker 3 (24:29):
I realized we have paid protesters and they're earning a
living screaming and yelling. But it's also stirred up the
Antifa crowd and all these terrorists who show up with
weapons and try to blow the heads off these ICE agents.

Speaker 2 (24:46):
I mean, this was on Channel seven yesterday.

Speaker 3 (24:49):
Protester opened fire at agents after the agents had set
off smoke canisters. Oh and by the way, to me,
the big story was they got they got ten miners.
One of them was fourteen, ten miners working as slave labors.
That's not in the headline. You don't how many writers

(25:11):
they had on this, Ruben Vivez, Janette Brontos. This is
the only times Jessica Garrison, Melissa Gomez, Clara Hunter, Grace
Toohey won two, three, four, five, six writers and nobody
put in the first paragraph that they that they picked
up ten child slaves. Nobody, Ruben, Janette, Jessica, Melissa, Clara

(25:34):
and Grace. What great journalists. Blitzer Prize for the whole
lot of them. This was a child slave labor camp
and the guy who runs it gave ten thousand dollars
to newse them. And this place throws off a tremendous
amount of tax money. So I'm looking through the paragraphs

(26:00):
T three, four, five, six, seventh paragraph it says ten
miners without documentation were found at the farm during the raid,
eight of them unaccompanied, according to the Testaments and Border
Protection Commissioner Rodney Scott.

Speaker 6 (26:17):
You're listening to John Cobel on demand from KFI am
six forty.

Speaker 2 (26:22):
All right, let's do the moistline round two. Hey, it's John.
Thanks for calling the moistline. I'm so excited to hear
from you. To bathtime.

Speaker 15 (26:31):
Can you imagine if Karen Bass the loser, would have
responded path that fast to the Palisage fires as she
did to the ice agents being at MacArthur Park. There
may have been a difference, I doubt it, but boy
did she get over there quickly?

Speaker 5 (26:45):
Huh? God forbid?

Speaker 15 (26:47):
If they had cocktails there should have been on the
fastest jet to get there. Even from sitting all you know,
I waved.

Speaker 9 (26:54):
Mayor Bath had spent more time and.

Speaker 3 (26:57):
Preparation and dealing with the fire and making sure that
the legal residents.

Speaker 9 (27:02):
Of LA were taken care of, the same way she's
making sure.

Speaker 5 (27:06):
That the Sanctuary City residents are being cared for.

Speaker 8 (27:10):
I saw a video of Karen Bass Yellen, you're not
welcome here.

Speaker 5 (27:14):
You need to leave.

Speaker 8 (27:16):
I had no idea she was talking to ice Man.

Speaker 15 (27:18):
I thought she was talking to the people that are
trying to rebuild their homes in the Pacific Palisades.

Speaker 17 (27:25):
In my back, you just hit the nail right on
the head. Mayor Bass does not want to rebuild the
Pacific Palisades. She wants to drag the permit process out,
drag the insurance process out to the homeowners, finally give up.
The developers can buy the land and build high rise,
high density housing in the Pacific Palisades.

Speaker 14 (27:46):
LAPD, you have to build people settings, buyworks off and
doing donuts on the freeway. Come on, LAPD. You don't
have any law in order, and the criminals don't respect
the police because they keep doing it numerous numerous times.

Speaker 9 (28:00):
This state and this governor and this legislature.

Speaker 11 (28:02):
They don't care about the gas going up or not
getting any or having to bring it in improve the world.

Speaker 14 (28:09):
Gavin had leave California because no one believes him here anymore.
