Speaker 1 (00:00):
Can't. I am six forty.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
You're listening to the John Cobelt podcast on the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 1 (00:06):
How are you?
Speaker 2 (00:07):
We are here every day from one until four and
after four o'clock every day. You can get the show
on the iHeartRadio app in podcast form John Cobelt's Show
on demand, So anything you miss in the next three
hours you can pick up on after we posted shortly
after four pm. Well, the controversy over the drones over
(00:28):
New Jersey and other places back on the East Coast
is not going away because the federal government is unable
to publicly explain what's going on. Yesterday, there were people
from the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, and.
Speaker 1 (00:51):
The FAA and the FBI.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
They had a joint statement saying, hey, there's nothing dangerous
about the drones, nothing to be worried about. But then
today the White House decided to have a classified, closed
door meeting with the House Intelligence Committee.
Speaker 1 (01:10):
Well, there's nothing going on.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
Why do you need to be behind closed doors with
a classified meeting? And when it's classified, it means you
you can't talk about it. One of the most vociferous
critics of the federal government has been New Jersey State
Assembly and Brian Bergen. We're going to talk to Brian
in just a moment, but I want you to hear
(01:33):
what he was saying about. White House spokesman John Kirby.
Speaker 3 (01:37):
Just got that guy is an idiot, that I can
tell you right now, because the Colonel Estate Police told
the members of the state legislature that one of his
helicopters was hovering above a six foot wide drone and
he landed that helicopter because he felt unsafe.
Speaker 4 (01:57):
For his pilots. I'm a former pat helicopter pilot and
a member.
Speaker 3 (02:01):
Of the New Jersey State Legislature, and I've seen these
things in my own community. That guy, I don't even
know his name, who was on here a couple of
minutes ago, is a fool if he's going to say
that there's no issue.
Speaker 2 (02:12):
All right, let's get Brian Bergen on. Brian, how you doing. Hey,
I grew up in New Jersey. That's the sound I
missed heard. That's great, miss I miss Guys.
Speaker 4 (02:25):
Like you.
Speaker 1 (02:28):
Just blunt to the point.
Speaker 5 (02:30):
Well, all right, that's it, go ahead now. I'm just
out here calling balls and strikes on this man. I mean,
it's you know, the people just deserve answers when there
are answers to be had, and the truth. I mean,
that's all we really want, is just the truth. And
as you mentioned before and your lead into this, you know,
they're talking out of both sides of their mouth on
(02:50):
this issue. And it maybe there's not a whole lot
to worry about. I don't know, but they're certainly not
giving us any real confidence that by this maneuvering they're
doing and these secret meetings they're having, this crazy information
they're putting out, the lack of answers, it's really it's
annoying and disheartening.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
The agency is at this closed door briefing today, the FBI,
the CIA, and the Director of National Intelligence Office. Now
those are the heaviest hitters in the government when it
comes to this sort of thing. So if there's nothing
to say, why the meeting, there must be something going on.
Speaker 1 (03:27):
They're not fooling anybody.
Speaker 5 (03:29):
No, I mean, I don't know. And if there's nothing
going on, like there just to be realistic, there could
be a case where they're having this meeting today and saying, hey,
look we haven't found out anything yet, but here's a
full scale briefing on everything we know about drone. Drone
capabilities capabilities in the United States are potential defenses. But
(03:51):
why don't they just say that, Why don't they just say, Hey, look,
we're having a meeting to give a full download of
all drone related information we have outside of this incident,
so that everybody's fully informed moving forward. But their pr
is just awful, and you know, and it makes us
really worried. When I had my briefing a few weeks
(04:13):
who actually was last week last Wednesday, when they brought
the members of the legislature down to tell us they
knew nothing but not to be worried. I mean, I
was just like, are you guys kidding me? Is this
amateur hour? I mean, it's God. I get so frustrated
by this topic of these people, I can't even tell you.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
Well, a lot of the politicians who came out of
that meeting were furious, and I wondered, well, what did
they do that?
Speaker 1 (04:41):
Because it was almost universal.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
Almost everybody who commented on the meeting on your side
of things was pissed off about it.
Speaker 5 (04:50):
Well, yeah, I mean, imagine being brought down to a
meeting where they tell you it can only members of
the state legislature can attend. You know, you feel like
you're about to learn something cool, you know, and you
get all the way down there and they say, there's
really nothing for us to tell you. We don't know anything,
and I'm like, what arey is this? I felt like
(05:11):
I was just dropped into a reality TV show and
cameras were on me, because why would you bring us
down there? Why don't you just shoot us a little
message and say, hey, we don't know nothing, don't come.
But you know, I'm a guy. I consider myself to
be a pretty practical guy. So if you don't know anything,
(05:32):
I can accept that. But you got to be actively
trying to figure it out, like with a plan utilizing
the full scale of the capabilities of the United States
government or the New Jersey National Guard or the New
Jersey State Police to figure out answers for us. And
I would have been happy with that. Hey, Brian, we
(05:52):
don't know anything at all right now, but here's what
we're gonna do to figure it out, and here's the
resources we're gonna get to help us. Well, that's not
what they said.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
You can't say it's not dangerous and then say we
don't know what it is. You can't say it's not
a foreign entity and then say we don't know what
it is. You both can't be true. But John Kirby
and uh Alejandra Majorcis those were the answers they were
giving both sides.
Speaker 5 (06:17):
Oh yeah, and that John's that John Kirby clip that
you played, you know, that was I was. I think
I was on Fox News at the time, and and
they it just he had just said that basically, we
had nothing to worry about, and we didn't. They were
all not drones, basically, is what you just said. And
they played the clip for me that what do you think.
I'm like, I think that guy's an idiot. And I
(06:38):
didn't even know who I didn't even know who he was,
But I this is what I think people are starving
for from their government officials. Is like number one, I
didn't know who he was. Number Two, I don't care
who he is because he's saying something colossally stupid and
that is universally determinable, you know.
Speaker 1 (06:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (06:59):
So I just called it like I saw it. And
we expect more, as citizens of the greatest country in
the world from our government than to be talked down
to and play caated like this, Well, I don't really want.
Speaker 2 (07:14):
He's a Whitehouse National Security Communications advisor, So that's what
it's frightening about. It is he is talking like an idiot,
but he's one of the highest ranking national security officials
in Washington.
Speaker 5 (07:28):
I know, I know the guy, the Fox News guy
had explain that to me, and I could I could
have believed it. I mean, I couldn't believe it really,
And and I'm not I don't consider myself to be
an arrogant person, but I was an attack helicopter pilot
in the Army. I am a member of the state legislature,
and I'm telling people that I've seen them with my
own eyes. I'm not lying, and uh, I don't have
(07:52):
an incentive to lie. I don't care to lie. It's
it's the truth that it happened. Now, I will tell you,
over the past several days, I haven't seen anything. And
that doesn't mean it's not happening throughout the state in
other places, but in my little bubble of the part
of New Jersey, I haven't seen that. I mean part
of it was overcast. Tonight's beautiful nights, So we'll see
(08:13):
if they're out tonight.
Speaker 1 (08:14):
Yeah, or the criticism got so intense.
Speaker 2 (08:16):
Whatever agency is sending these drones up decided maybe they
ought to cool it for a few days and calm
everybody down.
Speaker 5 (08:23):
That could be it. I'll tell you, man, if somebody
eventually has to admit that they were doing something, everybody
has to be fired. I mean, they should clean out
the whole top of that agency, because that would be
crazy at this point.
Speaker 1 (08:38):
Yeah, well, you.
Speaker 2 (08:39):
Know, it may not be dangerous, but it's definitely not normal.
There's definitely something going on.
Speaker 5 (08:45):
No, it's not. And you know, this should be just
a lesson to the government in general, is that people
aren't stupid, and people just they don't expect much from
the government other than for them to be honest with
them and for them to act on their behalf in
situations where it's required. And in this case, it feels
(09:07):
like they're failing in both of those tests. You know,
I've said several times to people who've asked me here,
and I called on the governor and I told him
all we want is action, one foot in front of
the other, trying to figure it out, and we would
be happy. But all this like, don't worry about it.
Nothing to see here stuff. It's just it's not okay.
Speaker 2 (09:27):
All right, Brian, thank you very much for coming on,
and if this keeps going, we'll talk with you again.
Speaker 5 (09:34):
Yeah, I appreciate you having me man.
Speaker 2 (09:35):
Thank you so much, Brian Berg and New Jersey status emblement.
Now when we come back. Another Jersey politician, the mayor
of Belleville, New Jersey. It's in North Jersey. His name's
Michael Mellon. He went on a TV show Good Day
New York, and he says that he heard what this
(09:57):
what this this swarm of drones? What they ne might
be looking for this this? There may be a reason
for this.
Speaker 4 (10:06):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
I don't know where he got his information. I've seen
it spread around the internet. You can't tell what's true
and what's not. But we'll we'll play a clip of
of Michael mellam next coming up on the Johnny Ken Show.
Speaker 6 (10:19):
Are you kidding me? It's been more than a.
Speaker 2 (10:22):
Year, John, I was back in New Jersey. See that's
where Ken and I started here in here in the
hearing the Jersey guy talk. You hear you hear the
way he speaks, though I do. Yeah, maybe understand me
a little better. Everybody there speaking.
Speaker 6 (10:37):
I screwed up.
Speaker 1 (10:38):
I know, I screwed up. What do you want to
punish me?
Speaker 7 (10:44):
I'm just saying it. I mean, it's been over a
year already.
Speaker 1 (10:47):
I know, I know.
Speaker 2 (10:52):
Why don't you do the news? Debora Mark live in
the Cafe News Center.
Speaker 8 (10:57):
You're listening to John Cobelt on demand from KFI AM
six forty.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
We're on from one until four, and anything you miss
you listen after four o'clock John Cobelt's show on de bed.
If you just missed Brian Bergen, you should listen to
that later. He was the New Jersey state assemblyman who
called the White House National Security spokesman John Kirby a
fool and an idiot for what Kirby was trying to
(11:23):
sell last week about the drones in New Jersey. Bergen
sounds like he said his wits end. He's frustrated, his
constituents are frustrated. Everybody in New Jersey can see what's
going on, and you get these.
Speaker 1 (11:37):
Well, you know who's given this the message.
Speaker 2 (11:38):
Alejandro Majorkis, the Homeland Security Secretary. We discussed him a
lot yesterday. He's the guy who sold the big lie
about the border being secure. I heard him say it
over and over again, and I'm watching with my own
eyes and I see thousands of people coming over the border,
and he insisted, I mean, I mean, just they're just
(12:00):
classic liars and they you know that this was how
Nazi Germany was run.
Speaker 1 (12:06):
This was the theory.
Speaker 2 (12:08):
If you repeat a lie over and over and over again,
people eventually believe it and it's true. And if you
can get your version of the truth to somebody first,
or to a large group of people. The way the
human mind works, the truth always has an uphill battle.
(12:30):
If the truth is the second version of the story
people here, they're less likely to believe the truth. They're
more likely to believe the first story they hear. So
as obviously the goal of the Biden Harris Mayorcis administration
to get out the big lie. And they figured people
were going to believe it except of except for television coverage,
(12:53):
mainly Fox. The other networks didn't touch it. The other
networks were on Biden's side. They want all these immigrants
coming in apparently, who knows what their motivation is, just
because they're woke and progressive. It's part of the ideology.
But they believe in but you know, when Fox is
showing you a picture of like ten thousand Haitians camped
underneath a bridge, it's pretty clear Mayorcis was the big liar.
(13:17):
So who do they have out front selling the new
Why may Orcus trying to tell us that the drones
in the sky really those are just airplanes. Here is
a clip from the mayor of Belleville, New Jersey, Michael Mellon.
He was on Good Day New York with Rosanna Scato
and Kurt Menevi about the drones sightings in the state,
(13:40):
and he has a theory that he's heard playing.
Speaker 9 (13:44):
All right, So, Bethany Frankel, I know she's not like
you know the New York Times, but she says that
she has like some kind of contact at the Pentagon
and that it has something to do with radioactive material
in New Jersey.
Speaker 4 (13:57):
What do you hear? So here's what I know.
Speaker 10 (14:00):
I know that we were told by our state police
that we have assets over our critical infrastructure. Now, depending
on your point of view, that's either concerning or comforting.
I think it's comforting because it's probably us listening and watching.
We also know that we have drones that are flying
in a grid like pattern. In my opinion, they're looking
for something. What might they be looking for, Well, potentially
we're aware of a threat that came in through Port Nork.
Speaker 1 (14:22):
Maybe that's radioactive.
Speaker 10 (14:23):
Material there was and there is an alert that's out
right now that radioactive material in New Jersey has gone
missing on December second. It was a shipment, it arrived
at its destination, the container was damaged and was empty.
Speaker 8 (14:36):
So potentially was looking right.
Speaker 9 (14:38):
There, may because that's very important information and that came
from a credible.
Speaker 1 (14:43):
Source that came from the US government.
Speaker 9 (14:46):
And so it's missing, missing, and I think it's in
New Jersey, or it could be anyway.
Speaker 10 (14:51):
It was lost in New Jersey in transit. And again
this is just an example of what I think that
we're sniffing for. I think we do have the assets
that can go up and fly away and sniffing, which
is why we're not seeing the uptick we used to
see in Bellville anymore. It's kind of moving, but we're
seeing alerts that it's happening now in Pennsylvania.
Speaker 4 (15:08):
And that's right about the time that the drone signings began.
Speaker 10 (15:11):
Right, Yeah, drone signs began about four weeks ago.
Speaker 2 (15:13):
Okay, So when you take a look at this, if
this information is indeed credible, why wouldn't the government say
it's us.
Speaker 10 (15:21):
That's the crazy part about this, And we've gotten very
little information. Even yesterday on that call with the White House,
literally mayors were told, you guys are seeing things. There's
no credibility to this. We had one mayor, like I said,
had drones over his house. I mean, we're no longer
going to stand for not hearing the truth. I mean,
our state government is failing us. They're not getting the
answers from the federal government, even though yesterday they told
(15:42):
us that there's nothing to see here. Today there's a
top secret briefing going on in Congress. Well, what are
they being told that we weren't told yesterday?
Speaker 1 (15:49):
Real quick?
Speaker 4 (15:50):
Did you know yesterday when you were on that call
about this missing radioactive activity or merchandise, or did you
know that this morning after the call.
Speaker 1 (15:58):
I was made aware of it yesterday.
Speaker 4 (16:00):
I did raise my hand. We weren't allowed to speak.
I did raise my hand.
Speaker 10 (16:03):
Was not called on to get that question answered.
Speaker 1 (16:06):
He raised his hand. Oh it's a stupid zoom and calls.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
We're supposed to raise your hand, the US Nuclear Regulatory
Commission did issue an alert earlier this week. A piece
of medical equipment that's used for cancer scans was lost
in transit December second while being shipped from the Nozhak
Cancer Center in Newfield, New Jersey, Southern New Jersey. The
(16:30):
device is an Ecker and Ziegler model HGGL DASH OZ
one three to two, and it was going to be
properly discarded, but its shipping container arrived at the destination
damaged and empty. The item is known as a pin source,
and it contains a tiny amount of the radioactive chemical
germanium sixty eight, which is used in pet scanners to
(16:51):
calibrate accuracy. The radiation source is determined to be less
than category three on the International Atomic Energy Agency scale,
which means it's very unlikely to cause permanent injuries to individuals.
Speaker 4 (17:08):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
But the missing equipment, I guess, still has not been found.
Somebody stole it, and this is sent the US government
to send all these drones around to find it. It's
quite a reaction, though, and if that's what happened, well
why not say so? They're always afraid of the public panicking,
(17:37):
because if they're telling the truth, and it's not a
dangerous amount of radiation. It's a device that has a
small amount in it. Well, then just say so. If
it's not going to harm anybody, we're not. Nobody's going
to panic. People are panicking now because you're not explaining this.
And again a classified behind closed doors meeting instead of
(17:59):
just walking up to the mic. It's said you hear
may orci is lying and John Kirby lying, and they're
doing the dance, and they're doing the shuffle, and they're
talking in circles, word salad time, contradictory statements, one after
the other. It's stupid, stupid people in government. Well we
come back. Here's another thing that they were lying about
(18:19):
and downplaying.
Speaker 1 (18:21):
Remember Aurora, Colorado.
Speaker 2 (18:23):
The trendy Aragua gangs that had taken over the apartment complex.
Officials in Colorado at the time, we're saying, no, no,
it's really not that big a deal. You know, this
is a greatly exaggerated in the media. Well wait till
you hear this story. There are two people in the
hospital after being tortured and violently attacked. Fourteen suspects arrested,
(18:53):
Fourteen suspects from a gang.
Speaker 1 (18:55):
We'll tell you all about it, we come back.
Speaker 8 (18:58):
You're listening to John Cobelt on demand from KFI AM
six fortyvoistline.
Speaker 2 (19:04):
Is Friday, Yes, eight seven seven moist eighty six. It's
the last one of the year. Eight seven seven moist
eighty six. You've got plenty of issues to weigh in on.
Just let it rip for the final time of twenty
twenty four eight seven seven moist eighty six.
Speaker 1 (19:20):
You use the.
Speaker 2 (19:20):
Talkback feature on the iHeartRadio app. You remember the Aurora,
Colorado apartment complex where the Venezuelan gang Trendy Iragua invaded
some time ago and it became the centerpiece of the
vice presidential debate. Well, it's now in the news again
(19:45):
because they have detained fourteen gang members regarding an overnight
armed home invasion of an apartment. There was a a
man and a woman who were pistol whipped, beaten, mistreated.
(20:06):
The man sustained a stab wound. This apparently went on
for hours. He's going to survive. It looks like about
fourteen people were detained, and now the Aurora Police Chief,
Todd Chamberlain, is going to town saying, yeah, this is
an immigrant gang from Venezuela. He's furious at the Biden
(20:27):
administration for letting these gangs in.
Speaker 1 (20:30):
We're going to play a clip. This is Todd Chamberlain
aor APD Again.
Speaker 11 (20:34):
I think that is something that is truly amazing. These
individuals that are the victims at this point, it appears
that they are immigrants that came again with the Venzuelan
community that was brought here. The fact that they stepped forward,
I think it shows again the incredible amount of courage
that they had. Unfortunately, when you look at this type
of activity, especially when you consider all of the individuals
(20:56):
involved in this are most likely Venzuelan. Most of them
are without question are most likely, we believe at this
point undocumented or immigrants to the city of Aurora. Again, Unfortunately,
these individuals, like many gangs and many individuals involved in
this type of activity, they victimize their own race and
their own authenticity. And the reason they do that is
(21:17):
because they are easy victims, because they know because of
their status, they will not come forward to the police.
They know that they can mistreat them, they know that
they can do things to them that they couldn't do
to anybody else in the community. Based upon their fear
of what the ramifications would be if law enforcement gets
involved in that. So for the fact that they step
forward and made this decision to call us again, I
appreciate that and I cannot tell them how much I
(21:39):
am thankful that they had.
Speaker 4 (21:40):
The courage to do that.
Speaker 11 (21:42):
I also want to make sure that you understand something
that we have been trying to do since the beginning
of this, and that is have outreach with that community particularly.
I want to make sure that anybody, whether documented or
on documented, knows that they can call law enforcement and
we'll respond and we will serve them the best that
we possibly can. There is no place in this country,
there is no place in this city where somebody should
(22:05):
be victimized or mistreated based upon their documentation status.
Speaker 2 (22:09):
He went on to direct some fire at the Biden administration,
saying we called them back on September twenty third and
told them what was going on here with crime and
the Venezuelan gangs, and the response was, well, we only
care that they get over the border. Once they get
over the border and they're here safely, that's all we
(22:30):
care about. That really was the policy of the Biden
Harris Majorcis administration. They only care that these people get
over the border. After that, whatever happens to you when
the gang busts into your apartment and ties you up
and tortures you for hours, Oh well, not our concern. Seriously,
(22:51):
That's that's what the police chief said. He was told
they're not concerned once they crossed the border. They're just
handling the inflow once they're in. Hey, they can't be
responsible for everything.
Speaker 1 (23:11):
Now.
Speaker 2 (23:13):
This is what you have to know is the media
and the Biden administration were downplaying what was going on
in Aurora, Colorado. It was a coordinated effort. There is
a political website called Axios. You may not read it,
but all the political geeks in Washington read it, and
the media people read it. And after the original run
(23:36):
of publicity, Axios went out of its way quoting the
mayor of Aurora, Mike Kaufman the Aurora City council member
Daniel Jirinsky. They are now backpedaling, Acxios said. Both city
leaders fueled much of the misinformation on the issue. The
(23:57):
city leaders are backpedaling and calling for calm after unfounded
claims about gang violence took center stage at Tuesday's presidential debate.
The overstated claims fueled by social media and through select
news organizations, are simply not true. Again, tda's presence in
Aurora is limited to specific poverty properties, all of which
(24:19):
the city has been addressing in various ways for months. Well,
this story is from September, and now you have fourteen
gang members barging on a couple, barging in on a
couple in an apartment building and torturing them for hours,
and you had city officials downplaying the problem. You had
(24:39):
the media downplaying the problem. You remember this moment when
jd Vance was talking with Marcia Raditz from ABC.
Speaker 12 (24:49):
President Trump was actually in Aurora, Colorado.
Speaker 4 (24:52):
Talking to people on the ground.
Speaker 12 (24:54):
And what we're hearing, of course, Martha, is that people
are terrified by what has happened with.
Speaker 4 (24:58):
Some of these Venezuelan and gangs.
Speaker 13 (25:00):
Senator, I'm going to stop you, because I know exactly
what happened.
Speaker 4 (25:03):
I'm going to stop you.
Speaker 13 (25:04):
The incidents were limited to a handful of apartment complex
apartment complexes, and the mayor said, our dedicated police officers
have acted on those concerns a handful of problems.
Speaker 12 (25:18):
Only, Martha, do you hear yourself only a handful of
apartment complexes in America were taken over by Venezuelan gangs,
and Donald Trump is the problem and not Kamala Harris's
open border. Americans are so fed up with what's going on,
and they have every right to be. And I really
find this exchange, Martha is sort of interesting because you
(25:38):
seem to be more focused.
Speaker 4 (25:40):
With nitpicking everything.
Speaker 12 (25:41):
That Donald Trump has said rather than acknowledging that apartment
complexes in the United States of America are being taken
over by violent gangs. I worry so much more about
that problem than anything else here. We've got to get
American communities in a safe space again. And unfortunately, when
you let people in by the millions, most of whom
(26:03):
are unvetted, most of whom you don't know who they
really are, you're.
Speaker 4 (26:06):
Going to have problems like this.
Speaker 12 (26:08):
Kamala Harris ninety four executive orders that undid Donald.
Speaker 4 (26:11):
Trump's successful border policies. We knew this stuff would happen.
Speaker 12 (26:15):
Let's ragged about opening the border, and now we have
the consequences and we're living with it. We can do
so much better, but frankly, we're not going to do better. Martha,
unless Donald Trump calls this stuff out.
Speaker 4 (26:25):
I'm glad that he did.
Speaker 13 (26:26):
Okay, let's just end that with. They did not invade
or take over the city, as Donald Trump.
Speaker 2 (26:32):
Said, right, except you had fourteen suspects detained last night,
without question a gang incident. According to Todd Chamberlain, the
Aurora Police Department chief, mostly males, some females. They entered
an apartment where two people were inside. They took the
migrant victims to a second apartment at the same location,
(26:52):
where the victims were threatened bound. The man was stabbed,
they were pistol whipped, they were beaten, they were mist true.
The police chief said, does that fall into the category
of torture for me? Yeah, it does. This is, without
question a gang incident. There's a high assumption that they
may be affiliated with trend de Iragua, but he stopped
(27:14):
short of saying it definitively. The apartment complex, the Edge
at Lowry Apartments, that is the same apartment complex that
jd Vance and Marsha Rattits were discussing in that clip
from last September when ABC right there, you had axios,
you had politicians all trying to downplay that this was
(27:37):
a big deal that trend dear Raga was overtaking that
apartment complex.
Speaker 1 (27:42):
Can you imagine, And by the way, they're victims.
Speaker 2 (27:45):
Here were two other illegal aliens and they are primarily
the victims of these illegal alien gangs or other illegal
aliens who are not in the gangs. Can you imagine
fourteen people come in and they start stabbing you and
beating you, a pistol whipping you. But it's just a
handful about a sick, sick bunch of bastards we have
(28:08):
in our government right now, and they can't be gone
soon enough.
Speaker 1 (28:11):
One more month.
Speaker 8 (28:13):
You're listening to John Cobelt on demand from.
Speaker 1 (28:17):
KFI A six.
Speaker 2 (28:19):
You can follow us on social media at John Cobelt
Radio at John Cobelt Radio seven hundred and fifty seven
followers to go until we hit twenty thousand. Coming up
after two o'clock Alex Stone from ABC News and he's
got a report on the Defense Department, Homeland Security, the
FA and the FBI and their official statement on the drones.
Speaker 1 (28:43):
In New Jersey.
Speaker 2 (28:44):
People are also now saying they're getting sick from the drones.
There's all these TikTok videos of women saying they've got
some kind of flu. They list all their symptoms and
they're wondering if it came from the drones.
Speaker 6 (28:59):
Because, well, it is flu season.
Speaker 2 (29:02):
The drones may be dropping viruses on us. Oh. The
conspiracy theories, have you heard? The blue bean theory is
that we'll talk about that next hour. I have a
medical story though, apart from that. These are two of
the These are two of the dumbest men in America.
(29:24):
Well now they're dead Upstate New York. One's sixty four
years old, one fifty nine.
Speaker 1 (29:31):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (29:31):
They were growing their own marijuana and they used bat
feces as fertilizer.
Speaker 6 (29:37):
Ww what they blew up?
Speaker 2 (29:42):
They grew marijuana and batpoop. Bats have all kinds of
terrible things beside them. Right, they've got rabies, they've got COVID.
Maybe I think there's a version of COVID that doesn't
come from a Chinese lab. They well, they smoked the
marijuana and it was tainted with a fungus found in batpoop,
(30:09):
and the two men caught deadly lung infections Rochester, New York.
They didn't even know each other. One purchased the batpoop
online and another guy got sick after taking batpoop from
a colony of bats in his attic.
Speaker 7 (30:27):
I mean, who would ever think of batpoop to use
as fertilizer.
Speaker 2 (30:31):
Well, if you go online, see all the terrible things
in life. Start online. Yes, batpoop is considered a natural
superfood for growing marijuana. So these guys go online and
you type into Google.
Speaker 1 (30:49):
What super food?
Speaker 2 (30:50):
Yeah, what's the best environment to grow marijuana? And they
go find some batpoop. So one guy climbed into his
attic and started scraping the poop off the wall.
Speaker 1 (30:58):
I guess c.
Speaker 4 (31:01):
Then they get they get.
Speaker 1 (31:02):
This fungus growing in their lungs. Can you think of
anything more disgusting?
Speaker 6 (31:08):
Well, there are a few things, but that's up there.
Speaker 1 (31:10):
Yes, lung fungus.
Speaker 2 (31:13):
It has dangerous bacteria, fungus or viruses in the batpoop.
Speaker 1 (31:19):
Let's see this.
Speaker 2 (31:20):
This fungus is called Histoplasma capsule atum, and it's found
in bat and bird droppings, and it's in the soil.
Naturally most of the time you get it from breathing
in spores of the fungus. But it says the doctors
wrote that using batpoop on homegrown marijuana plants appears to
be a recent trend, and it takes between three and
(31:45):
seven days for symptoms to begin, and as your lungs
get infected, you find it difficult to breathe, and then
you die.
Speaker 6 (31:58):
That's very sad, you get.
Speaker 1 (32:01):
You sound really sad.
Speaker 7 (32:04):
I don't grow marijuana, and I don't know if I
would ever consider using that poop, even though I would
read that it's a superfood.
Speaker 1 (32:13):
It's a super food puralizer. You're going to find this
a vegan restaurant soon.
Speaker 6 (32:18):
I hope it's not my gummies.
Speaker 1 (32:21):
I was going to say, do you know what's in
your gummies?
Speaker 6 (32:23):
No, I don't go read go read the ingredients batpoop.
Can you imagine I come back tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (32:30):
That's what you've been chewing on batpoop.
Speaker 2 (32:33):
The symptom is fever, cough, fatigue, chills, headache, chest pain,
body aches. It could be a long term infection, breathing problems, pneumonia,
and death.
Speaker 6 (32:42):
There you go, Stay away from batpoop. That's our PSA
for the day.
Speaker 2 (32:46):
Bat poop is never good. In fact, don't I know
somebody who got brushed by a bat had to go
to get the raby.
Speaker 6 (32:56):
Shots just for being brushed.
Speaker 2 (32:58):
Yes, that's the recommendation because if you have, you have
to get it within like twenty four hours, otherwise you
die a really horrific death.
Speaker 6 (33:09):
Even if the bat didn't bite you.
Speaker 2 (33:11):
Well you don't know for sure. They can brush by
you and leave a tiny little pin prick. You don't
feel it, You don't not really, you don't really notice it.
And so every every you know, the infectious disease specialists
say just go get go, get the In fact, I
know somebody who had to get the Raby shots. Do
(33:32):
you know what the bill was originally? I don't know
what it ended up.
Speaker 6 (33:34):
Insurance doesn't cover well I did, but.
Speaker 2 (33:38):
You know what the original bill was on paper? What
thirty six thousand dollars for the Raby shots?
Speaker 1 (33:43):
Thirty six thousand.
Speaker 6 (33:46):
That's crazy.
Speaker 1 (33:47):
Yes, that's why you need.
Speaker 6 (33:50):
To stay away from bats at all.
Speaker 1 (33:52):
Costs, you know.
Speaker 2 (33:52):
That's why you know, health executives are in trouble. By
the way, I gotta talk about that. You've got this
in the news about manjo and getting indicted. There is
a pull out that among those under the age of thirty.
The question was about whether you are in favor of
(34:16):
executives being assassinated?
Speaker 7 (34:18):
So what are we going to just see a rash
of CEOs being gunned down.
Speaker 2 (34:23):
Will I will tell you next hour with the results
of the poll. But that was one of those things
I had to read three times. Oh no, yeah, these
are I think there's a whole different world for people
under thirty because their news sources are almost entirely online.
So often it's whatever trends are on TikTok and Instagram.
(34:44):
And if Instagram TikTok says death to executives, then that's
what a lot of this generation believes that.
Speaker 1 (34:50):
Sid Well, we've.
Speaker 2 (34:51):
Got a lot to talk about. Nixt hour, Debra Mark
