Speaker 1 (00:00):
Can't. I am six forty. You're listening to the John
Cobel podcast on the iHeartRadio apps.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
I really want you to continue to use the talkback
feature on the iHeartRadio app Some of your questions try
to stump me now, doubt. Please ask questions about the
issues that matter to you. Raise issues with me. Now
that I'm in the state legislature, behind the scenes, in
the belly of the beast, I'm able to kind of

(00:28):
give you the story behind the story and really expose
what's going on. Tomorrow, we're going to talk about the
insurance crisis. Why California politicians are profiting every time your
insurance rates go up.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
Did you know that?

Speaker 2 (00:44):
I didn't think you knew that, but you need to
know it. And that's why your politicians don't give a
rip about your insurance costs. And we offered a bill
Assembly Bill five sixty seven to cap the insurance rate increases.
Oh no, no, not not try to do price control.

(01:04):
No no, the insurance industry would be able to do
cost recovery. No, we were going to cap what you
had to pay and force the politicians to pay the
difference because their regulations, their bad policies, cause the spikes,
so they I believe, should pay the price for their failure. Oh,

(01:24):
we also get rid of the ability for them to
profit when your insurance rates go up. We'll explain it
all tomorrow and what we should all prepare for, because
this thing on the insurance market, it's going to get
a hell of a lot worse, a a lot worse.
Some people are going to be priced out of their
home because they will not be able to afford the

(01:47):
insurance rate increase.

Speaker 3 (01:48):
It's all coming up tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
Later today, we have the conversation about why the fight
for Congress, the control of Congress, rolls through California. People say, well,
California doesn't matter. It's a blue state. Republicans shouldn't worry
about California. Just write it off.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
No no, no, no, no, no no.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
California will decide who gets to be the House Speaker
in twenty twenty six, and if Democrats get the House majority,
Donald Trump in his last two years in office, his
agenda will be completely dead. So California matters in a
big way. We'll be talking about that, and I'll be

(02:33):
introducing you to one of our best recruited candidates to
flip a House seat in California.

Speaker 3 (02:38):
Jim Desmond from San Diego. All right, I want to
cover this real quick.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
You've seen Donald Trump issue executive order after executive order,
hit the ground running the first He's not even at
his one hundredth day in office. He's going to be
at day hundred next Wednesday, April thirtieth.

Speaker 3 (03:00):
So day hundred is next week.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
And he has already in one hundred days, done more
than most presidents do in eight years, at least arguably
four years. And the judges are falling all over themselves,
the liberal judges to stop them.

Speaker 3 (03:19):
They can't stand what he's doing.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Now. Notice these judges never did this to the Democrats,
or are some of the milk toast Republicans that have
come and gone with no real impact positively to our country.
Judges never stopped Barack Obama from deporting illegal immigrants.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
But Trump's getting you know, these.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
Liberal judges issuing cease and desist temporary restraining orders injunctions
to stop him from doing his job as president. And
some of these executive some of these judge orders are absurd,
like Elon Musk, and Trump can't look at the spending

(04:07):
database of the federal government. Really, it's the president's job
to manage the federal budget. He's not allowed to look
at it. He's not allowed to look at the contract database.
He can't look at the grants that are being given out. Well,
of course, the Supreme Court said absolutely he can't. Or

(04:27):
how about this, Donald Trump can't fire government employees. You
can't even offer them voluntary buyouts. Judge ordered that, and
then of course it was reversed. Today a judge, two
judges did something stupid, as these liberal judges do. The

(04:52):
first judge issued an order, Judge Kolar Kotelli said that
Trump's order seeking federal agencies to enforce any federal authorities
that they have to require citizenship documentation in order to

(05:14):
vote in federal elections. Judge Kohler Coutelli blocked it and
said the President and the executive branch the Department of
Justice cannot enforce existing law as it relates to citizenship verification.
This judge said, if we want to do citizenship verification,

(05:38):
Congress should pass a law requiring that you're a citizen
in order to vote. I'm not joking you, my friends,
this is what the judge is saying. The judge is
saying that apparently we need Congress to pass the law,
saying that in order to vote in America, you need
to be a US citizen. Did she get her law

(06:00):
degree at Crackerjack Box, one of those online universities. This
judge ought to be impeached tomorrow, remove her from the bench.

Speaker 3 (06:17):
The law of the land is crystal clear.

Speaker 2 (06:19):
In order to vote, you have to be a citizen, period,
full stop. Congress does not need to pass a damn thing.
It's in the US Constitution. It is a requirement of
federal law already. But no, this judge is like, no, no, no,
don't do that.

Speaker 3 (06:36):
Boy. That's crazy bit.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
You're talking crazy Trump wanting only citizens to vote in elections.

Speaker 3 (06:43):
How dare you? I'm so offended you.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
You're breaking the law. You are you are destroying our constitution.
Here's another one. We got another judge appointed by BARACKO
by the way, another judge that has said that Trump

(07:06):
does not have the ability to cut off discretionary grants
to sanctuary cities. This is California judge, Federal Judge William Orrick,
who's an Obama appointee. Big old liberal has been struck

(07:26):
down consistently. He says, quote, the cities and counties have
demonstrated a likelihood of an irreparable harm. Wait wait, irreparable harm.
What they're saying is, if Trump doesn't give us discretionary
federal grants, we're going to be harmed. How about your

(07:49):
sanctuary policies. You think those are harmful? How many crime
victims do we need to have by you shielding illegal
immigrant criminals from being deported. Just release them back on
the streets they commit crimes again, more crime victims.

Speaker 3 (08:08):
How about the irreparable harm there?

Speaker 2 (08:10):
Judge oric, why don't we put some of these illegal
immigrant criminals in your backyard? The judge went on to rule, quote,
the threat to withhold funding causes irreparable injury in the
form of budgetary uncertainty. Budgetary uncertainty, Oh my goodness. We

(08:33):
wouldn't want government bureaucrats to be uncertain about their budget
because they're shielding illegal immigrant criminals. No, no, no, we
want them to be certain that they can do that
and still builk federal taxpayers for discretionary federal law enforcement grants.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
That's right.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
We wouldn't want those bureaucrats in California cities that are
sanctuary cities't want them to worry about their budget. By golly,
that would be terrible. What stress we're putting in their life.
Oh my goodness, they might need a comfort pony. They
might have grief plato that they're gonna have to need

(09:14):
as they worry about. I don't know why Trump is
threatening the money for my city because I'm not cooperating
with federal law enforcement. But I think I should get
federal law enforcement grants. They go on to say that
by not giving discretionary Department of Justice law enforcement grants

(09:40):
to sanctuary cities that it quote is a deprivation of
constitutional rights. Wait wait, now, the cities have a constitutional
right to get money from the federal government.

Speaker 3 (09:50):
And then say I'm not going to cooperate. Cooperate with you.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
Judge Oric, just rip up your stupid law degree right now,
just just rip up, no certificate on you know those
black robes. Just tournament, baby. You are an absolute embarrassment.
This is a guy that needs to be impeached by
the Congress. Hey, Republicans, I get it. He's probably not

(10:19):
going to get impeached in the Senate. Boh, make him
historically famous. Do an impeachment resolution impeach them, force a
trial in the Senate, impeach all these judges in mass,
and force a trial. Then the judge writes in his

(10:44):
order saying sanctuary cities should continue to get unlimited money,
says that if Trump is able to cut off the
money to sanctuary cities, that it would quote undermine trust
between the cities and counties and the communities they serve. Oh,
all right, now you're offending me. You know what undermines

(11:07):
trust between cities and counties and the communities they serve,
shielding violent criminals and releasing them onto the streets rather
than deporting them and keeping communities safe. You want to
talk about undermining trust between citizens and the government, shield
criminals at their expense. You can't make this crap up,

(11:31):
all right, This guy is on some nasty form of
illegal substance. This judge is absolutely unhinged to write crap
like this with a straight face.

Speaker 3 (11:46):
And you will not hear the liberal media cover this order.

Speaker 2 (11:49):
They won't read these passages and say the same judge
that said that a sanctuary city deserves this money had
to say that, oh, not giving them the money will
undermine public trust and confidence with these cities.

Speaker 3 (12:05):
Well, they did that themselves.

Speaker 2 (12:10):
This is insane. I mean, I mean, this is as
apparent as the day is long. But on the issue
of citizenship for voting, that's kind of like the easy thing, right.
Can't we all disagree, even you Democrats out there. Can't
we just all agree that only citizens should be able
to vote in elections?

Speaker 3 (12:33):
Can I offer you a voter ID as well?

Speaker 2 (12:37):
Coming up, I'm going to share with you the polling
numbers on those two questions in California. In the blue
state of California, what percentage of voters think that we
should have voter ID? What percentage of voters say we
should have a citizenship requirement to register to vote? And
how can you help us make those two items the

(12:58):
law of the land and the state of California through
a citizens' initiative in twenty twenty six and I'm leading.
It's all coming up as Carl Demio sits in for
John cou Belt.

Speaker 4 (13:06):
You're listening to John Coblt on demand from KFI AM
six forty.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
This is Carl Demayo, State ASSEMI Member, Chairman of Reform
California and overall troublemaker. I love causing trouble for Democrats
in the state of California because they've caused so much
trouble for you. And one way that we have to
start solving problems in this state is to recognize that

(13:35):
our political system is broken. People have given up voting
because they don't have trust and confidence anymore in the system.
We have a just a horrible voting system in California.
They have outdated voter lists. Intentionally, they then mail out

(13:55):
ballots to everyone on the outdated lists, which means that
creates a bunch of orphan ballots. When people are receiving
ballots at apartment buildings and homes and homeless shelters and
hotels and motels and nursing homes and people are no
longer there who are associated with those ballots, then it

(14:17):
opens the potential that those ballots are quote harvested. And
that's what the Democrats did, is they legalized ballot harvesting.
And finally, they have no real identity verification on these ballots.
As they're returned.

Speaker 3 (14:32):
Oh, they say, well, we checked the signature's Carl. No,
they don't.

Speaker 2 (14:36):
The Transparency Foundation did an audit of the twenty twenty
two California election and found wild disparities across each of
the counties in terms of signature review quality checks. And
they then found people whose signatures were actually rejected, and
they found a fourteen point seven percent confirmed rate of fraud.

(15:02):
And you hear about that from the La Times or
the liberal media because they don't want to cover it.
So what I say is, let's clean up our elections.
Let's restore public trust and confidence. The best way to
do that simply two reforms. Okay, first reform is making

(15:22):
sure we don't have illegal immigrants on the voter rules.
That's voter citizenship verification. Right now, vot voter allows illegal
immigrants to register. There is no verification on citizenship. So
we believe we need to fix that and require that
people show that they are a citizen with a government document.

(15:46):
If you have a real ID, by the way, that's
been in the news lately in the past couple of weeks.
As the deadline approaches, you are already citizenship verified. If
you're not, you're one of the two percent or three
percent that are not verified. In our first election, we
catch up, we verify, we move on, and then everyone
who registers thereafter they have to show that they're a
citizen that's number one. That enjoys the support of seventy

(16:09):
nine percent of Californians, including a supermajority of Democrat voters.
It's a no brainer. People support it. The second reform
is voter ID voter ID when you return your ballot,
So citizenship verification is when you register to vote. Voter

(16:29):
ideas when you return your ballot. That's simply either in
person when you're voting at a polling station, or as
ninety five percent of Californians do, mail in ballots. You
would put the last four digits of whatever government document
you used when you verified your citizenship. So if it's
a passport, last four digits, real ID, last four digits,

(16:51):
social Security number, last four digits, very simple on the
mail in ballot to do this. But Democrat that's in
Sacramento killed both of these reforms. By the way, citizenship
verification is seventy nine percent of California voter support. Voter
ID to return your ballot sixty eight percent of California

(17:11):
voters support, including a majority of Democrats. And before you
go off saying, but Carl, it's gonna suppress the votes
of minorities, it's racist. Well, maybe you should tell the
non white voters in California that because seventy percent of
non white voters in California support voter ID by a

(17:31):
greater margin than the overall population by two percentage points,
this is an idea whose time has come. But the
Democrats were given the opportunity to pass it with Assembly
Bill twenty five, and they killed it, the bill that
I authored.

Speaker 3 (17:47):
They killed voter ID and Sacramento. So here's the deal.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
We got to get a million signatures to put this
on the ballot in the twenty twenty six election. And
I can't do this alone. So I'm gonna need you
to sign online the petition and share it with all
your friends. Go to voter ID petition dot org. Voter
ID petition dot org. It is crucial that you do

(18:14):
this because I cannot do this alone. It won't happen
unless you get off the couch and into the fight.
Not only do you need to sign this petition, but
I need you to get five or six of your friends,
Text it to them, email it to them. Voter idpetition
dot org. Voter idpetition dot org. Trump was just blocked
today by this judge who said no We're not going

(18:36):
to do citizenship verification. That's not the law of the land.
You can't require that. These are the idiots that we're
up against. They do not want to have integrity in
our elections, plain and simple. By putting this on the ballot,
we are ending the debate. We are imposing the reform.

(18:56):
This is a state constitutional amendment. It will pass if
we get it on the ballot. The only challenge is
a million signatures. Please sign online at voter idpetition dot org.
All right, coming up, the control of Congress rests in
the hands of California voters. California matters nationally. It's not

(19:18):
just a blue state. It's got pockets are red. And
here are the challenge seats that we have to be
ready to defend. Plus, we'll talk to one of the
leading candidates to flip a seat in California, who's a Republican.
It's all covered up. As Carl Deonio sits in for
John cooe Belt on KFI.

Speaker 4 (19:35):
You're listening to John Cobels on demand from KFI Am sixty.

Speaker 2 (19:41):
We are having our conversation about all things that are
screwed up in California. Excuse me, which means we have
a lot to talk about. One of the things though,
that people don't understand is that while California is a
blue state, two things are happening. Number One, California voters

(20:04):
are moving dramatically to the right, to the center, and
to the right. We see that in all the polling studies.
We see that in the voter registration a million new
Republican California voters in the last several two years. As
people leave the Democrat Party, particularly Latinos, they're voting more

(20:26):
to the Republican side. There is a right word shift.

Speaker 3 (20:31):
Now.

Speaker 2 (20:31):
It would happen a lot quicker if the Republican Party
of California would pull its head out of its you
know what and actually be functional and actually fight rather
than surrender. But that's why my group exists Reform California,
because we're not waiting for Republican establishment politicians to figure
out that they need to fight. We're just going out
there and working with the grassroots and making it happen.

Speaker 3 (20:52):
But the second thing is.

Speaker 2 (20:53):
Also true that even in a deep blue state that
is trending to the right, we still matter nationally because
of the control of the House of Representatives and What
my frustration is, as I've been going up and down
the state organizing the rebellion and getting grassroots activated and

(21:15):
recruiting volunteers and recruiting candidates, is that we're not getting
any money from the National Republican Party. They've left us
for dead in the ditch, and in twenty twenty I
begged them for resources. They didn't send any money out,
but we picked up four congressional seats in twenty twenty

(21:39):
and then in twenty twenty two they gave us a
little bit of money and we picked up a fifth
congressional seat, and guess what. The House majority in twenty
twenty two was decided by five congressional seats. California handed

(21:59):
this speakership to the Republicans in twenty twenty two. If
it weren't for those four seats we picked up in
twenty twenty and the fifth in twenty twenty two, the
House Republicans would not be in the majority in twenty
twenty two and would not have been able to stop
Joe Biden's agenda. He would have done a lot more damage.

(22:20):
And we were left for dead, largely by National Republicans.
So now we look at what just happened in this
last election. Republicans again did not get us the resources
we needed, and in the twenty twenty four election, sadly,
we lost several congressional seats three John Dwarte in Central Valley,

(22:49):
Michelle Steele in Orange County, Mike Garcia in Santa Clarita,
LA County. Three seats. Do you know what the House
what he is right now? Three seats. Republicans are in
the majority by just three seats. So in the twenty
twenty sixth election, California once again is ground zero in

(23:12):
the fight for the House majority. That is why you
are seeing millions of dollars flowing in from the Democrats.
Bernie Sanders got off his deathbed, AOC got down from the.

Speaker 3 (23:31):
Bar she dances on bars like Coyote Ugly.

Speaker 2 (23:37):
And decided to take a carbon based jet to California
and rented a bunch of protesters just show up at
town halls in Republican districts. So they went to Central Valley.
They're trying to flip Kevin Kylie's seat up in the
Central Valley area. They went out to Inland Empire to
try to flip Ken Calvert seat.

Speaker 3 (23:59):
They went down to Worrae County to try to flip
Young Kim seat.

Speaker 2 (24:02):
These are three Republican seats that are targeted by Democrats
that they think they can flip. They've went to Central
Valley to go after David Valadeo. So these are four
seats that we have to be worried about.

Speaker 3 (24:18):
But there are also seats we can flip.

Speaker 2 (24:20):
We can flip the Dwarte seat, the Michelle Steele seat,
the Mike Garcia seat, the Mike Levin seat. Mike Levin
right now is in Orange County and San Diego County.
It's the forty ninth congressional district, and that is a
flippable seat. If we can get our seats on the

(24:51):
Republican side. If we can save these seats and then
maybe add a couple, Trump will have a majority in
the last two years of his administration to get things done.
If California loses these seats, this is probably going to
be the margin by which the Republicans lose the House.
Everything comes down to what's going on in California. And look,

(25:16):
I'm not waiting for the national Republican political consultants and
donors to figure that out. I think some of them
know it, but there's just so inpt and incompetent, and
don't even start. The California Republican political consults are even worse.
They've only known how to fail.

Speaker 3 (25:37):
You know.

Speaker 2 (25:38):
They are the ones that are responsible for the permanent
minority that we seem to be in right now, and
so reform California. As I mentioned on Tuesday when I
took over guest hosting, we have a five point plan
to take back California and it's working.

Speaker 3 (25:52):
It's working.

Speaker 2 (25:53):
We're not even getting any support from these big donor organizations.
We're doing it organically at the grassroots level. Five point
plan number one is we're offering an agenda of change.
We are engaging voters and convincing them that they don't
have to accept Gavin Newsom in the super majority, that

(26:13):
they should try out the other side just for one cycle.
We're making the case for change number one, and we're
offering credible ideas and solutions that represent change number two.
We're recruiting candidates that fit the districts in each of
these areas. We're training, mentoring, endorsing, putting them on our

(26:34):
voter guide. But you can't beat someone with no one
You need to have candidates in each of these seats,
so we're recruiting candidates. Number three, we are recruiting volunteers
to support candidates, to work the campaigns. The Republican Party
has given up on volunteers. They don't the consultants don't
like volunteers. Would I have to work with volunteers if

(26:56):
they have opinions?

Speaker 3 (26:58):
That's terrible. They want me to buy them pizza, they
want me to take pictures with them.

Speaker 2 (27:05):
I'd rather just run TV ads and stuff mailboxes full
of flat nailers and earn fifteen percent commission.

Speaker 3 (27:14):
Here's the thing.

Speaker 2 (27:17):
We need volunteers because personal contact is what will move
the needle in these races, and Reform California is recruiting
those volunteers. Number four, we need to turn out our
votes by contacting Republicans that have given up hope and
get them to turn out in greater numbers in these
midterm elections. And number five, we need to raise the

(27:38):
resources to.

Speaker 3 (27:38):
Do first four things.

Speaker 2 (27:41):
And while we're doing all this for candidates, by the way,
we are putting things like California Voter ID on the
ballot in the twenty twenty six election, the tax pay
protection initiative we're putting on the ballot in the twenty
twenty six election, collecting signatures and forcing our popular ideas
on the ballot so we can use as as wedge
issues against the Democrats. We've got a plan and we're

(28:05):
starting to see some good candidates step forward and it's working.
We picked up three seats in the state legislature in
the last cycle. I need seven more seats this cycle.
We have sixteen seats in the state legislature we're targeting.
All we need to do is win less than half
of them seven seats, and they are very wittable. We
got to get people off the couch and into the fight.

(28:27):
All it takes is is get getting people engaged in
this fight, giving them a hope that you, yes, can
take back your government. They're gonna have more money than us.
They have the lying liberal media to cover up their tracks.
But we've got a movement to build and a movement.
I'll take a movement any day of the week against
media and money. So go on the website reform California

(28:50):
dot org sign up to be part of this. At
the bottom of that website, you can sign up at
Reform California dot org, but most importantly sign the voter
ID initiative at voter ID Petition voter ID petition dot org.
Coming up, I'm gonna introduce you to one of our
best candidates. County Supervisor Jim Desmond for San Diego is

(29:13):
one of our best candidates in California to flip a
seat from blue to red. That's that forty ninth Congressional
district in San Diego, North San Diego County in South
Orange County.

Speaker 3 (29:24):
He'll make his case.

Speaker 4 (29:25):
Coming up, you're listening to John Cobels on demand from
KFI A six.

Speaker 2 (29:32):
Tomorrow, we're going to talk about insurance, the insurance crisis
and why are you ready for this? I'm gonna explain
to you tomorrow. Get all your friends to tune in.
Why politicians in California make more money. They get more
money in their budget when your insurance rates go up.
And that's why they're not going to fix the insurance

(29:54):
crisis anytime soon. They're not interested in it. They're going
to continue to blame insurance companies when in fact, it
was the politicians that created the crisis and they're benefiting
from the crisis. That's tomorrow, as we sit in for
John as he's on on vacation. Carl Demyo, I'm recruiting
candidates up and down the state of California. We're endorsing

(30:16):
great candidates. We now just need to get you off
the couch and into the fight to support these good candidates.

Speaker 3 (30:25):
That's what it's going to take. No one's going to
come save us in California.

Speaker 2 (30:28):
And as I just explained, the California House, the House
majority in Washington, Trump's majority. Whether or not he's going
to be able to get his agenda done in the
last two years of his administration, that will be decided
by key races right here in California, which means you
matter every moment of time.

Speaker 3 (30:48):
Every dime you give.

Speaker 2 (30:50):
Should be focused here in California, not somewhere else. One
of those races is in the forty ninth Congressional district,
which is a winnable seat. It's currently held by Mike Levin, Democrat,
who I call him AOC in a pair of pants,
AOC in a pair of pants. This guy is a
part of the squad, the Green New Deal. He's he's

(31:11):
all for that nonsense.

Speaker 3 (31:14):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (31:14):
And that's why I'm thrilled to endorse San Diego County
Supervisor board member Jim Desmond, and he joins us right
now on the KFI line. Jim, thanks for stopping by.

Speaker 3 (31:26):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (31:27):
Most people in the LA area in Orange County may
not know a whole lot about you. Uh.

Speaker 3 (31:32):
Tell us about your experience and why you're running.

Speaker 5 (31:36):
Well, I'm running because I love this country and I
want to make sure that we we remained safe and free.
And unfortunately, in the last administration, you know, with our
wide open borders. Uh and and uh, you know, people
just cut pouring across into our country and the President
Trump finally stopping that. But we you know, we've got

(31:57):
to be able to take control and kee he actually
keep the control in the House of Representatives in Washington,
d C. The Republicans only have a very small margin
right now of about five or six people. We got
to make sure we hold it and flip some of
these seats, and I think this forty nine seat is
very flippable. As you mentioned, mister Levin, you know, sides

(32:17):
with AOC. He also he wants men in women's sports.
He's against voter ID. He did nothing when boats were
landing on the beaches in southern California, so he hasn't
kept us safe and he's been part of this WoT
crowd that hopefully is on its way out the door.

Speaker 2 (32:35):
Of course, Levin supports the gas tax increase. He wants
to do a new mileage tax. He wants to ban
natural gas appliances. He's all four housing first, which are
these drug den public housing projects down the street from you.
This is a guy who is full tilt, far left,
but he represents a purple district and he's always been

(32:56):
able to get away with it because he hasn't really
had a very good competitor. I think you are the
best competitor running in this seat since Daryl Isia packed
his bags and gave it up back in twenty eighteen.

Speaker 3 (33:11):
What is your what is your strategy to win?

Speaker 5 (33:15):
Well? Two thirds of this district is in San Diego County,
one third in Orange County, And unfortunately, the last couple
of people that ran in this race were Orange County,
from Orange County, and they weren't able to make, you know,
tie the deal or get it done in San Diego County.
I already currently represent about two thirds of that district
here in northern San Diego County I've been elected twice.

(33:38):
I think the voters have already checked the Jim Desmond
box a couple of times. And I think having that
name recognition already being a sitting incumbent county supervisor with
a reputation of trying to get things done. You know,
I've been working on this Tijuana sewage issue. I stood
up for businesses during COVID. I stood up, you know,
against the immigration people being dumped off in San Diego

(34:01):
County when mister Levin did nothing on how they and
these things. So my strategy is, you know, get out there.
I've been working hard, raising money, getting endorsements, but the
key is to winning San Diego County, and I think
I've got that advantage.

Speaker 2 (34:16):
Well, you got my full support because you've been a
fighter in San Diego County on all the issues that
we care about, and you, I think are our best candidate.
What's your website so people can check you out and
ship in a contribution.

Speaker 5 (34:29):
Hey Desmond for Congress dot com.

Speaker 2 (34:32):
That's des M. O. N. D. Desmond for Congress dot com.
Jim Desmond, thank you so much. I'm proud to support you,
and we're going to do everything we can to get
you into Washington to help secure the House majority. All right,
that does it for me, Carl Demayo. We've got a
lot to get you tomorrow again. That insurance scandal that
nobody in the media is covering. The real follow the

(34:54):
money reason why politicians in California are okay with your
insurance rates skyrocketing.

Speaker 1 (35:01):
Hire.

Speaker 2 (35:02):
We will cover that tomorrow, so tune in. But first
let's get to some news with Michael Krozer in the
KFI twenty four hour newsroom.
