Speaker 1 (00:00):
I was in which shock, as anybody else would be
when you see the person they're looking for, like standing
right in front of your mailbox. I look out the
bay window and to my surprise, here's the guy that
they're looking for, and like in front of my mailbox.
He was pushing the bike at this point because I
think he was already tired trying to get up the
seel here. I told him to get his hand, get
down police, and he said, I'm not going to run
anywhere he goes. I'm tired of run in I'm just

(00:21):
gonna lay here.

Speaker 2 (00:22):
Yeah, that's a story out of Tennessee where an inmate
who escaped prison tried to get away on a little
girl's bike.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
Didn't make it that far. He didn't make it very
far at all. No, very hard to write a small bull.
Hey for effort.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
And if you haven't seen the latest inmate, the inmate
that's going viral that has everybody saying he might be
the worst criminal.

Speaker 3 (00:40):
Ever, I want to tell you about it right now.

Speaker 4 (00:43):
I love these people, me too, my favorite, very great.
They make you feel better, they never give up.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
And normally when an inmate is going viral in this country,
it's because people think that they're hot and want to
date them. And then they get out of prison, and
then they go on for a modeling career and they
make millions and millions of dollars and then probably commit
another crime.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
And they go back to jail. But who cares we
get another.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
But there is one in an inmate going viral and
making international headlines this morning because he was scheduled for release.

Speaker 3 (01:11):
In just two days. Okay, he did not do anything
yet two days.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
An inmate who was set to be released in two
days couldn't wait, so he allegedly escaped in Nashville.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
He couldn't wait.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
How Nashville police say, Tyreek Harris, who apparently didn't think
things threw, walked away from an approved work release sight
just two days before he was set to be a release.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
So he escaped two days before he was set to
be released.

Speaker 4 (01:40):
So he's like doing work release, so he was like
he was even doing well enough in jail to be
able to like go pick up trash or go do
a thing.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
And eight hours two days long.

Speaker 5 (01:54):
Because it's like he'd already been there for however long
just two more days and you just got crazy about it.

Speaker 4 (01:58):
And if it was any more than two days, then
it's like, I get it. If he escaped in the
first twenty four hours, he's like, I can't do this.
But it was definitely more than two days if he's
on a work release road him.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
So he was originally jailed for a probation violation, but
now he's back in jail on new charges for escape.
Escaping jail when he just had two days to go.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Maybe he really liked it, so he just didn't want
to leave. That's a real thing.

Speaker 2 (02:26):
Though, that is a real thing. We'll get institutionalized and
I want to go back. But because of that, the
internet is also sharing a bunch of stories of the
dumbest attempts at escaping prison ever. Oh good, So these
are fun over some of them right now. But an
inmate drug an dug a tunnel for months trying to

(02:46):
get out of prison.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
Where was he digging?

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Except they didn't check where it was going and they
popped up inside the guard's break room where the guys
were literally playing cards when they burst through.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
The That's a movie scene. That's awkward.

Speaker 5 (03:03):
I feel like the digging tunnels is more in the movies,
but people actually do this. How do you even need
man into that space and where's your shovel?

Speaker 3 (03:11):
They don't want to be I've got these. I've seen
people use spoons in movies. I don't know what they
actually used by. People use spoons and knives, and it
seems to be surprisingly easy to escape.

Speaker 6 (03:20):
I was watching a random documentary the other day and
these guys got out through like the pipes or whatever,
like through the area through the pipes, but like, yeah,
they pulled their toilet off the wall and just like
kind of got in the wall and then just kept
going and they were outside.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
It was like an accident. Does seem to be pretty
easy to escape? Like, what is going on here?

Speaker 2 (03:39):
We're going over a thread this going viral on the
Internet of people sharing stories of the dumbest attempts at
escaping prison ever. Because one guy was two days away
from getting out of jail and then he decided to
try to escape two days before, and now he's back
in jail on charges of attempting to escape jail, which
will be there for a longer time.

Speaker 4 (03:58):
This is why I love them, though, because he knew
that if he did it, he was going to be free.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
Forty eight hours earlier, he beat the system. He was
not going to give up right.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
Another story was shared from a prison guard out of Nebraska.
It says an inmate an inmate made a fake mustache
out of toilet paper and shoe polish, thinking that he
would look like a different person when they did the lineup.
The prison guard added that he looked like a Sad
Mario character instead.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
Okay, that's creative points right there.

Speaker 5 (04:33):
You're using your resources to really try something different.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
I need some glasses and some toilet paper. This is
gonna work.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
Another prison guard shared a story that says that one
guy thought that he could dig his way out with
a spoon, but he was trying to dig through reinforced
concrete the whole time.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
He says.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
They finally found out that he was doing that after
a year of trying, and they noticed the small dent.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
The concrete. He's like, again, never get it out, give off.
We can take some lessons from these people. It's like
a workout for your wrist on that one.

Speaker 2 (05:12):
Another prison guard, this was out of South Dakota, said
one prisoner thought he could slip through the bars by
covering himself in butter and soap.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
Ooh, that's kind of smart. I don't see any problems
with the so far smart.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
It says that he got stuck between the bars, naked,
buttered up and screaming, and had to be cried out
by the guards.

Speaker 7 (05:37):
He couldn't stop laughing now

Speaker 3 (05:51):
Screaming naked
