It's time for Nina's What's Trending.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
Vogue's December cover has just been released, and people are
calling it the worst cover they have ever done. These
comments are ruthless. I'll tell you why and who is
on the cover coming up in just a second. But first,
there's this Japanese aquarium that's trending big time right now
because of one of the exhibits they just have or
just had. The aquarium says, this exhibit is meant to

(00:23):
teach people about how animals you smell to communicate with
each other and to figure out things like health and mood.
This cracked me up so much because Jubile's instincts are
absolutely what this exhibit is all about. That remember who
we took a picture next to a statue of dog.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
Oh yeah, and what did you do?

Speaker 3 (00:46):
I smelled the dogs the statues. But because that's what
dogs do, no reason. That's how they introduce to each other.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
So that's okay.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
They tells a story, you know, that's how they learn
about everything about the other dogs exactly.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
And this Japanese aquarium is really leaning into that and
has created an exhibit where people get to show up
and walk through and there's all of these pictures on
the walls of different animals like penguins and whatever else, hippos, tigers,
koalas you name it. And then there's like a little
peep hole, but that's where you smell.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
Can you see what they smell?

Speaker 2 (01:18):
You see what they smell?

Speaker 3 (01:19):
Like?

Speaker 2 (01:19):
Want to, I don't know, so that people can understand
how they communicate with each other. The funniest part about
this and why it's trending so hard right now, is
because there's photos of people that are attending this exhibit
starting to pop up all over social media where you
see these people just leaning into.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
A hippos butt.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
Yeah, like I wouldn't want to do it one because
probably smell doesn't smell good, but also what if it did?
And what if, like now, all of a sudden, you
just love smelling rhino bum. Keep that's tough. That's a
tough thing to like, you know, that's a tough craving to. Yeah,

(01:58):
it's like, you know around hippos a lot, and if
all you want to do now it's like I wouldn't
want to get a hankering for hippo bum You do it?
So the next thing, you know, and then I'm like,
I'm spending all my money taking tricks to Africa or
wherever hippoles are, or breaking into zoos.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
I'm getting in trouble for breaking into zoos. I'm making
the news because I'm the hippo.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
Smelling guy taking sounds pretty cool. Well yeah that'd be
you have no more money at the end, but toy.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Yeah, I'm taking safaris just to smell hippo bums. Though,
like I'm not looking at anything else. It's like I'm
just like it's my thing now. I don't want that
to happen.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Oh man, that's really funny because all I seeesy wy.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
I need it. I need it. Yeah, exactly to fix the.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
Thing is if you go to Africa to do it,
I don't think you're gonna last very long because like
the second you go try to smell like sniff one
of those those things are vicious. Yeah, you're gonna get
He is fast, though, to his credit, he's.

I don't know if you're that fast. I don't know.
Not hipps are fast. Hippos are fast.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
Then they're mean they're super I know they mean, yeah,
they're also so cute.

They're way faster than anything for sure, hear me. I
wonder how fast the hippop can run.

What if it's a pigmy hippop like those little cute
the little cute one Moodang, I feel bad for bothering them.

These are so cute.

I don't want to see That's what I mean though.
What if you've went to the museum and then you
smelled the bum and you're like, I can't help it now,
that's all.

I want to do is smell hippo bum.

You just see this need to run faster for at
least ten seconds.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
Yeah, and then it was like, damn, oh I forgot
I'm a hippo, run real quick.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
Timothy shallow May is the guy on the cover of
the new Vogue magazine for December, and he's getting roasted.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
Not him so much, but the way that they did
the shoot. So it's him on the cover.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
He looks actually pretty good, and the whole thing is
the universe according to Timothy, so it looks like he
has his foot on Earth and the whole thing is
like photoshopped like AI background.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
I don't think it's as terrible as everybody's saying. But
why they hate it so much?

Speaker 4 (04:10):
I feel like that kind of gives like, what's the word? Like,
I never mind, you keep going.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
So they're calling it a silly hack job, the worst
cover ever. Others said it sad, garbage, something you'd see
from a kid who just discovered photoshop.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
Oh, it's done really poorly according to these people. I'm
gonna look it up. I don't think it looks that bad.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
So you take a look at it and you can
decide if it's the worst cover you've ever seen. I
think most people are going to be distracted just by Timothy,
so the back part may not matter as much.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
Yeah, it doesn't bother me. It looks kind of like
an artist representation of what space would be like or whatever,
and the.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
Universe according to Timothy, you know, I don't know, kind
of cute, but others not so happy about it.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
Yeah, that's interesting. That is what's trending, which is a
weird photo.

Speaker 2 (04:54):
Right.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
Yeah, but it doesn't bother me, Like I wouldn't be
angry about it, woudn't ruin my day. The only thing
to ruin my day is if I don't get the
smell hippos, but well they might grew in today. Absolutely,
just tune in right at that moment.
