Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's time for name is what's trending. Turns out we

(00:02):
may have a song of the Summer after all.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
No, we don't.

Speaker 1 (00:04):
What do you know about k pop demon Hunters? Will
go thinking you go it, say there you know it?

Speaker 3 (00:14):
We're going at I don't know it, but I do
know that I've heard a lot about k pop demon Hunter.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Ially know what that means.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Really, isn't it like an animated kid show?

Speaker 1 (00:25):
I'm so into it. Yes, the song right here is
called Golden. Oh so good. I'm so seeking. My nephew
told me this week and he goes, if you guys
want to be number one on the radio, you need
to play k pop demon Hunter. I was like, all right,
that cruisy, you're right, Well, just for you. But it

(00:46):
is streaming on Netflix and it appears to be the
number one box off title that Netflix has just earned
and it's eighteen year history. They also released it into
select theaters over the weekend and it ended up crushing it.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
It's a movie or a show.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
It's a movie, okay, yeah, it's a movie.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
It is it animated? Is it anime?

Speaker 1 (01:07):
Yeah? Anime? Okay, yeah, yeah, it's animated. It's so cute,
like my niece and nephew already want to be that
for Halloween, and there's just all this fun stuff. And
then I was the cool anti because I knew about
it already. So I have a bunch of nieces. Enough.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
She started watching this Demon Hunter anime series. But it's
not the K Pop one.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
This one's better. The soundtrack is so good.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
This one doesn't really have music. It's just the guy
you know on demons and stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
Like what brought you there? I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
I saw it and I was like, I want to
check out some anime. Wait, so I was like, which
would be a good one. It said the Demon Hunter.
I think it's just called the Demon Hunter, I know,
But anyway, yeah, so I started watching it. Yeah, but
it's not the K Pop one. You'll like it a
little more fun.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
The soundtrack is actually so legit. I think the whole
thing is so like genius. Really, when I played this
in the car with the kids in the back and man,
we were jamming. It's so good. So anyway, congratulations this
to Netflix. And if you know, then you know, is.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
That what anime technically stands for?

Speaker 1 (01:58):
Animated? Yeah? Right? I think so it's also a style.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
I was very confused. But right now I just thought
about I was like, wait, anime animated? That what it is?

Speaker 1 (02:07):
It's animated, But I feel like anime is also a style.
I don't know, because people are really serious about it.
So for those of you anime enthusiasts, while he asked
the internet, I will tell you about the new dating
trend term that you need to know. Man, there have
been a lot of these over the past few weeks.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
Let's just not use any of them.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
How about that?

Speaker 2 (02:25):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
I think it's kind of fun to define them. Even
though all of these things have been done. Now you
know what you're doing, Like right now. The next one
is called shrekking. This is when you date an ugly
person and you hope that by dating down they're going
to treat you really well, but then they end up
being a jerk anyway, so now you're dating an ugly jerk,
so you just shrecked.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
Real people actually date someone like that they consider not
attractive because they think they're not going to be a jerk.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
Yes, yeah, that makes me really sad. As I was
reading this, that makes me sad. I mean not like
if you're attracted to them. I don't know. I don't.
I don't like calling people ugly, but like you can
have an ugly soul, I don't. Yeah, people do their
holes come in all shapes and size. You're right, they
really do.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
I think.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
I think sometimes people just want to know that they
have the upper hand in the relationship and then that
person's going to be nice and really love them.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
They're hoping that they'll be like a puppy dog because they're.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
Hot and they're not or something like that. Yeah. Is
there something technically not wrong but not great with that,
because you just want to have an upper hand in
a relationship when it's supposed to be kind of that's
probably a red flag right there. I think there's a
lot of self esteem issues going on here. Yeah, but anyway,
we'll come back. Well that's that, But before we go,
did you find the answer to anime? Oh?

Speaker 3 (03:39):
Yeah, there's no single official definition of anime, but viewers,
but most viewers outside of Japan considered it to be
animation produced in Japan. Oh, so, I guess that's what
anime is. Animation produced in Japan.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
Thank you. That is well trending
