Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's time to Catch a Cheater only on the Table Show.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Ruby is on the phone today for to Catch a
Cheater and she's been dating her boyfriend Patrick for a
little over a year, but now she thinks that something
might be going on, so hopefully we can help her out. Ruby,
what's up. Why do you think Patrick's cheating on you?
Speaker 3 (00:17):
Yeah, I mean, you know, he's kind of like he's
kind of been one of those like puppy dog type
of guys, you know what I mean, Like he just
kind of does everything. He makes sure don't need anything
when I get home, and you know, he's like cleaned
my apartment for me. I was like he makes your Yeah,
(00:39):
like it isn't sweet. I get Mickey, So like he'll
just do things, make sure they're ready when I get
back from work. And yeah, so he's been really cool,
but like it's sort of, uh, stopped really suddenly, Like
he was going really really hot and it's been you know,
like about fourteen months now, and all of a sudden,
(00:59):
it just like stopped really suddenly.
Speaker 4 (01:02):
And you notice that when that happened.
Speaker 5 (01:04):
Of course, do you think that it was an intentional stop?
Like are you being thankful for all of the things
that he does, Like, does he feel not appreciated or
do you think that it has to do with something else?
Speaker 4 (01:18):
I yeah, Like, I.
Speaker 3 (01:19):
Mean I feel like I've always been really appreciative of it,
and I don't try to like force it.
Speaker 4 (01:23):
You know. It's not like I'm telling him like pure
in my apartment.
Speaker 3 (01:25):
You know, I don't do that, you know, and he's
he's allowed to just you know, like it's not like
I tell him I went and wipe me all the time.
Speaker 4 (01:34):
He's free to go wherever and do whatever. But you know,
he's he's choosing to do that.
Speaker 3 (01:39):
And now it's like he's choosing to be really distant.
He's choosing to like go out with his friends every
time I come home instead of being there he's and
then when he is there, he's like on the phone
all the time.
Speaker 5 (01:53):
Ju Well, you're kind of the puppy dog type too,
So what would make you stop doing things like that?
Would it be because you're doing it for somebody else?
Speaker 2 (02:03):
It would probably be the not appreciated thing, That's what
I would think. But is there is there anything else
going on?
Speaker 6 (02:10):
Ruby?
Speaker 3 (02:11):
I mean, like so I feel like that's enough, But
like I did have this moment where he was home
and he was on his phone, who was texting somebody?
Speaker 4 (02:22):
And I go in the room behind him, and so
I can see, like it's a girl's name. I can't
remember who it was, it was a girl's name.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
Then right when I'm about to say something to him,
she texted him antic, Oh.
Speaker 6 (02:39):
What this is a different story. Yeah, yeah, what'd you do?
Speaker 4 (02:44):
Well?
Speaker 3 (02:44):
I immediately was like, oh, excuse me, right, And so I
said that immediately, and he turns around and he's giving
me this full story about this was a friend of
his and she was messaging him like trying to hook up,
and she didn't know that he was taken and he
was going to message her right then and tell her that,
and and it's been and he's trying to tell me
(03:07):
all that. I mean, I feel kind of dumb now
saying this, but like, like I saw him texting her
right when he said that, but like I didn't go
and like read it, and I probably should have.
Speaker 5 (03:21):
Well, you want to be able to trust him, but
your guy is still telling you that's kind of strange.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
I mean, fourteen months is a long time. You would
think by now she would know that he was with somebody.
Speaker 6 (03:32):
That's a ad point.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
Yeah, I mean he was trying to say like like
she was like a new friend, so like they hadn't guided.
Speaker 4 (03:39):
To that point where they were talking about that stuff
yet or whatever.
Speaker 6 (03:41):
It was a lot of questions about your new female friend.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
Yeah, all right, Well we'll play a song come back,
and then call him and do the usual. You already
told us what grocery store he's a rewards card member at.
So we'll pretend to me from the grocery store and
say that every month we choose one rewards member who
gets a free gift from us, and its flowers delivered
from our floral apartment to anybody that you want, and.
Speaker 6 (04:02):
We'll see he sends thus to you or to somebody else.
Speaker 4 (04:03):
Okay, cool, great, thanks, all.
Speaker 6 (04:06):
Right, we'll get you to catch a cheater next.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
It's time to Catch a Cheater only on.
Speaker 6 (04:13):
The Tuble Show.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
Right in the middle of to Catch a Cheater and
if you're just joining us, Ruby is on the phone
and she's been with her boyfriend Patrick for about fourteen months,
but now she thinks that he might be cheating. So
in a second, we're going to call him and pretend
to be from the grocery store that he's a rewards
card member at and say that he's this month's lucky
winner of free flowers delivered from our floral apartment, and
we'll see he sends those to his girlfriend.
Speaker 6 (04:32):
Ruby or to somebody else.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
But before we do that, Ruby, why don't you break
down your situation for us one more time real quick.
Speaker 4 (04:38):
Yeah. So we've been together over a year and he's
been really really good, really.
Speaker 3 (04:45):
Nice to me, doing all these things for me, and
all of a sudden, he's just completely switched.
Speaker 4 (04:50):
You're not doing things for me anymore. He's on phone
all the time.
Speaker 3 (04:53):
And lately I saw where a girl sent him a
picture of her and he seemed to have a good
excuse for it, but.
Speaker 4 (05:02):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (05:03):
Yeah, it's weird saying it's a new friend that didn't
know that he was in a relationship. That is weird. Yeah,
especially after fourteen months. Are you ready for us to
call him now? Oh?
Speaker 6 (05:12):
Yeah, okay, here we go.
Speaker 4 (05:22):
Hello.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
Hi, this is Corbett calling from I was looking for
our rewards card member named Patrick.
Speaker 4 (05:29):
Yeah, I'm Patrick Patrick.
Speaker 6 (05:30):
Hi.
Speaker 2 (05:30):
Please don't hang up. This is not a marketing phone call.
I'm actually calling to say congratulations, you're this month's lucky winner.
Thank you so much for being a Rewards Card member
with us. You're clapping forty here in the offices and
everything so mean.
Speaker 6 (05:43):
Maybe you don't know.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
Every single month we choose one Rewards Card member who
gets a free gift from the store just for being
such a valued customer. And this month it's free flowers
delivered from our Florida department to anybody that you want
within the fifty United States of America, absolutely free.
Speaker 4 (05:58):
Oh what kind of flowers?
Speaker 6 (06:00):
Well, good question.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
It's thirty six long stem red roses, a box of
candy or chocolates, and a card.
Speaker 4 (06:05):
Okay, yeah, okay.
Speaker 6 (06:09):
Okay, great.
Speaker 2 (06:10):
So the first thing I would need would be the
first and last name of the person, and then we'll
get anything you want to put on a card, and
then the address and we should be good to go
and you'll get confirmations on all this stuff.
Speaker 4 (06:22):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (06:22):
Yeah, so the name is Regina.
Speaker 6 (06:27):
Got that, okay? And anything you want to put on
a card?
Speaker 1 (06:30):
Yeah, yeah, I do roses for my baby.
Speaker 4 (06:34):
Thank you for.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
Believing in me.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
Great, then I will get the address from you. Never
I don't.
Speaker 5 (06:42):
Understand, well, Patrick, this is actually The Jewbell Show. It's
a radio show. Yeah, Hi Patrick, I'm Nina. Hi, I'm
Victoria and my name is Jewbell. We do a segment
on a show called to Catch a Cheeta where if
you think your significant other might be messing around, you
see who they send flowers to, and your girlfriend Ruby's
on the phone and probably wants to know who Regina
is boopy?
Speaker 1 (07:00):
Well you Ruby set this up?
Speaker 4 (07:02):
Yeah? Ruby set this up? Yeah, Hi, real quick.
Speaker 3 (07:06):
I'm so sorry to you guys, because I knew more
than I said I knew.
Speaker 4 (07:12):
But yeah, I absolutely knew he was cheating on me.
Speaker 3 (07:15):
Absolutely because who completely goes me and ducks my calls?
Speaker 5 (07:20):
What?
Speaker 4 (07:21):
Yeah, like you can go forever? Like I absolutely know,
Like there's somebody else.
Speaker 1 (07:26):
Come on, I've been busy with work, and I told
you that I was going to be doing a project
and that I wasn't going to be around.
Speaker 6 (07:31):
I told you that. Are you in a relationship.
Speaker 4 (07:37):
I'm in I'm in something which which woman?
Speaker 6 (07:40):
Ruby or Regina.
Speaker 1 (07:43):
I'm not even talking to people on the on the
radio about this, okay.
Speaker 6 (07:47):
I mean you don't have to think about the radio party.
Just a question.
Speaker 1 (07:50):
Look, I'm I'm doing my music right now Okay, I
don't know what's funny. Yeah, yeah, okay, I said, I've
been busy with work. I'm working on.
Speaker 4 (08:03):
This with what work? He does not have a job?
Speaker 6 (08:06):
Is Ruby your girlfriend? Patrick?
Speaker 1 (08:09):
Ruby has been a girlfriend to me?
Speaker 6 (08:11):
Okay? What is she now?
Speaker 4 (08:15):
Ask her?
Speaker 5 (08:16):
She said, you're her boyfriend. Are you've been cheating Ruby?
Is he your boyfriend? Or did you lie to us
about that part?
Speaker 3 (08:23):
Up to this moment, I still considered him that even
though I knew that he was pulling around on me, hmmm,
because I was hoping to call him out on symbols
here and it sounds like he's really full of it today.
Speaker 4 (08:37):
So what kind of work do you have? Girls?
Speaker 1 (08:39):
So we've we've never we've never like walked around with
like an official title because we both have always just
been in something with each.
Speaker 4 (08:47):
Other and so your situationship, Yeah that's what you want
to call it.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
Yeah, that's what we've been.
Speaker 4 (08:53):
Yeah, Okay. The problem is is that, I.
Speaker 1 (08:56):
Mean, look, Ruby doesn't believe in anything I do. She
doesn't care about any things that I care about. In
my life. It's always been who I am to her.
So whatever I am to her is the first time
in life for her.
Speaker 3 (09:08):
So okay, So like if you want anything to me,
even like, how come I gave you a key to
my apartment? And how come you took a bunch of
my stuff When you took your stuff, I.
Speaker 1 (09:18):
Mean because you like, because you like the food that
I make, and I take care of the area.
Speaker 4 (09:23):
Tools with you. You took all your stuff with you, and
you took my external hard drive with you.
Speaker 6 (09:29):
So it sounds like he moved out or moved in.
Speaker 1 (09:34):
Yeah, it's it's been like this break the last two months.
Speaker 3 (09:38):
I let this man move into my apartment two weeks
after I knew him. He has been mooching off of
me for over a year, free rent, free places, say,
free place to work on the music that he supposedly
has some kind of work with or whatever, which is
a la about I know, take my stuff with him
(09:58):
when he leaves and say that I'm the one that
was in it, fir stuff.
Speaker 4 (10:01):
You gave me that hard drum.
Speaker 1 (10:03):
By the way you gave you told me, You told
me you Look, this is the way situationships work. You
know that something's over, but you we still hooked up
a couple of times, but we both knew that this
was done. I moved out, the stuff has been separated.
And now you're wondering if I'm talking to somebody else. Yes,
I'm talking to somebody else who believes in me and
(10:23):
who supports me, and who's interested in what I do,
and I'm interested in what she does. It's called a
mutual respect and a mutual support.
Speaker 4 (10:32):
Okay, what does she do to support you as well?
That's what I just said. Yeah, yeah, I thought, okay.
Speaker 2 (10:39):
Okay, Well it's so like you guys have been broken
up for a minute anyway, Ruby, So I don't know
you're confirmed what you're trying to do.
Speaker 4 (10:48):
Well, now that I know that you're cheating, you know what.
We are broken up because I'm breaking up with you.
That's it. We are so done. You have all the
space in the world now, that's fine. I broke up
with you two months ago.
Speaker 6 (11:02):
I told you to.
Speaker 4 (11:03):
We know you did that.
Speaker 3 (11:05):
We were together, and I'm breaking up with you because
you are a freaking cheater.
Speaker 4 (11:09):
That's what I'm doing. I said, this is not working.
I'm the one thing that work. And because it's not
on your term, I believe you just now that it
was not working. I told you it wasn't working. And
then you come in with the whole like it's not working. Yeah,
because I just said that you could like have no
idea you know what, you know what official record you
(11:30):
broke up with me. I'm going to let you have it. Okay, fantastic.
Now give me my drive back? What today? See?
Speaker 1 (11:39):
Now?
Speaker 4 (11:39):
You being this is what's called being bitter.
Speaker 1 (11:41):
You don't have anything on that drive. You have like
there was two files on there and there's no data
on there.
Speaker 3 (11:48):
You're saying that it's better damn well, still be on
there because my brother has no problem going back to jail.
Speaker 1 (11:55):
Oh, I will give you your drive back later this afternoon, Okay,
between five and six. I will put it in your
mailbox tonight when I get done offloading all of my music.
So you're gonna wait a few hours.
Speaker 4 (12:12):
You can do that and I can get my laird.
Speaker 1 (12:14):
Oh well yeah, okay, good good, Good luck with that
