Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's time to catch a Cheater.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Only on the Jubile Show, Sophie is on the phone
today for to Catch a Cheater and she's been with
her boyfriend John for three years, but now she thinks
that he might be messing around. So hopefully we can
help her out and hopefully he's not. But Sophie, what's
going on? Why do you think John might be cheating
on you?

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Well, honestly, I just feel like he's been really checked
out lately, and he stopped talking to me about work,
about our Christmas plans, about anything really, and I just
feel like he's like halfway out the door emotionally, and
like he's giving me on the arm's length to soften
the blow, like he hasn't told me what's wrong yet,

(00:39):
and it's just been like a gradual thing, like little
by little.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Yeah, okay, that's hard.

Speaker 4 (00:44):
So recently, what is the thing that's going on that's
making you feel like there's somebody else in the picture?

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Well, okay, So normally this time of year, we limpings
flow down. We're like, we have coosing nights together, we
watch holiday movies, we just kind of eat into the holiday.
But everything has spelled off lately and we haven't been
able to do any of that. And then last week,
when I borrowed his phone to check on my Amazon package,
a text from the contact is just stages the letter

(01:12):
J and it said, this is our little secret. This
is so fun and I'd better see your hear tomorrow.
Winky face.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
WHOA.

Speaker 4 (01:22):
Okay, I'm like, how else could that? How else could
you take that? I mean, that feels like that's pretty
spelled out.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Right, And he said that it was just an inside
joke with his coworker Cake, And then I wouldn't get it,
except like I've been around his coworker dozens of times,
so I don't I don't get it.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Yeah, and he doesn't.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
Even have a coworker named Jay.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
Oh, then why would you say that You're making a
word for yourself, dude, Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:51):
I know.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
Just everything feels like a lie. And then like every
night for the past month he's been going Christmas shopping.
But I'm so confused. And then he says he has
to work late most nights too, but his job hasn't changed,
his routine hasn't changed. It's just him that's different.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Huh.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
And I know something's going on, So I just I
have to know what it is, because honestly, my heart
cannot take this anymore.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
And how did he act when you confronted him about
that text message? Was he super defensive or he just tried.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
To laugh at all like it was a joke. It
was awkward, honestly, Is.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
It normal for him? Did you Christmas shopping so far
in advance?

Speaker 5 (02:28):
No?

Speaker 2 (02:29):
Yeah, he's a dude Christmas Day pretty much. Yeah, that's
also surprising.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
That's why I asked. Okay, well, what did the text
say again?

Speaker 3 (02:40):
It said that this is our little secret, this is
so much fun, and I'd better see your act tomorrow.
Winky face.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Okay, yeah, that's pretty it's really bad.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
Yeah, all right, you already told us a one grocery
store he's a rewards card member at So we'll play
a song come back, and then call him and pretend
to be from the grocery store and say that every
single month, we choose one lucky rewards member who gets
free flowers delivered from our floral department, and.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
We'll see if he sends those to you or somebody else.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Okay, okay, all right, we'll get your to catch cheeter
right after this, right in the middle of to catch
a cheeter and if you're just joining us. Sophie is
on the phone and she thinks that her boyfriend of
three years named John might be messing around. So we're
about to call him and pretend to be from the
grocery store that he's a rewards card member at and
say that every single month, we choose one lucky rewards

(03:26):
member who gets free flowers delivered from our floral department,
and we'll see if he sends those to his girlfriend,
Sophie or to somebody else. But before we do that, Sophie,
why don't you break down why you think he's cheating
again for us?

Speaker 5 (03:37):
Real quick.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
He's just been really distant lately. He's always working late
or going Christmas shopping at really weird hours. And then
the text on his phone that said, this is our
little secret, this is so much fun and I'd better
see her tomorrow linky.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
Faith okay, And that part text was from somebody named Jay.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
Yeah. Just one letters, just one.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Letter Jay, Okay? Thanks? Well, are you ready for us
to call him?

Speaker 3 (04:05):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (04:06):
Okay, here we go.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
Hello, Hi, this is Corby calling from grocers. I was
looking for our rewards card member named John. Yeah, Hi, John,
Please don't hang up. This is not a marketing phone call.
I'm actually calling him with a big congrats. Here this
month's winner, thank you so much for shopping with us.
I'm not sure if you can hear us all clapp
in here. Thank you very much for your business and
being such a loyal customer.

Speaker 5 (04:41):
Yeah. Thanks. What do I win?

Speaker 1 (04:45):
Oh? The flowers? Maybe you didn't know.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
Every single month we choose one Lucky Rewards card member
to say thank you very much for shopping with us.
You've just won thirty six long stim red roses, a
box of candy or chocolate, and a card to be
delivered to anybody that you want, absolutely free. It's a
three hundred sixteen dollars value actually, oh wow, and there
is no purchase necessary. I will not ask you for
any credit card information. It's just our little way of

(05:08):
saying thank you very much. And it's very simple too.
I can take down the information in just a few
minutes over the phone. I'm prepared to do that right
now if you already knew who you wanted to send
them to. I can also set up a time and
call you back, or you can always come down to
the store and stand in the customer service line and
just wait a little bit and then fill all the
farms whatever is easier for you.

Speaker 5 (05:28):
Yeah, no, I can. Yeah, I can send them to
someone here.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Oh great, do you want to do it now?

Speaker 5 (05:34):
Sure? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (05:35):
Okay, perfect, And like I said, you'll get confirmations in
your email on all of this before we're even off
the phone. The first thing I would need from you
would be the first and last name of the person
that you want to send them to, and then anything
you want I might want to put on a card,
and then we'll get the address, and that is it.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
Be good to go. Thank you again for your business.

Speaker 5 (05:54):
Yeah. Sure, let's send them to Katie.

Speaker 1 (05:59):

Speaker 5 (07:08):
Sophie, It's okay, it's not what you think it is.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
It's okay. It's probably.

Speaker 5 (07:15):
What am I supposed to think.

Speaker 3 (07:16):
You've been playing away for a week, You're hiding your phone,
you're sending who is Katie?

Speaker 5 (07:21):
Okay? All right, it's not I know what this looks like.
It's not what it is. Okay, then tell me who
Katie is?

Speaker 3 (07:30):
Right now, I feel like I don't even know you anymore?

Speaker 5 (07:32):
Like who is she? Okay, Sophie, calm down, calm down?

Speaker 3 (07:38):

Speaker 5 (07:49):
First of all, I'm not cheating on you.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
And what are you doing?

Speaker 5 (07:54):
That's crimlin stuff and I don't want to tell you.

Speaker 3 (07:57):
Yeah, that sounds like a bunch of bullsh because you've
never done Christmas stuff before and what does that even mean?

Speaker 5 (08:03):
Okay, well maybe once, just for once, I'm trying to
do things early, and you can set it all up.
Katie is somebody? She works it. Oh god, I'm Katie

(08:23):
is a salesperson at the dealership because I'm buying you
a sheep for Christmas, and I've been working late because
I'm trying to afford this jeep because I didn't have
a down payment, and Katie has been hiding it from
other customers so that they didn't take it. So Merry Christmas.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
Wait what.

Speaker 5 (08:47):
Yeah, and Katie could have lost her job because you're
not supposed to do that to hide it from these
other customers, because there was a bunch of interested people
in this friggin jeep. So like, really, really, Sophie, Oh well.

Speaker 3 (09:04):
I guess I like Katie. Why don't you tell me?

Speaker 4 (09:10):
But I mean, really, in Sophie's defense. So that was
some sketchy stuff. And you gotta love that she loves
you so much that she'd be mad if you were cheating.

Speaker 5 (09:16):
Yeah, oh, if you know, I would never cheat on you.
I mean, well, now you know what your Christmas gift is.
I'm supposed to pick it up next week. I just
wanted it to be a surprise.

Speaker 1 (09:30):
Still a surprise.

Speaker 5 (09:31):
I'm not trying to be surprised.

Speaker 3 (09:34):
This is actually the best person ever, because I thought
you were cheating on me and now I'm getting a
new car.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
