Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's time to catch a cheater.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Only on the Jubil Show.

Speaker 1 (00:05):
Timothy is on the phone today for to catch a Cheater,
and he thinks that his girlfriend of five years named
Tara might be messing around. So in a second, we'll
call her and see if we can catch her if
she is cheating. But first, Timothy, sorry, you have to
come on the show this way.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
What was going on?

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Why do you think Tara might be cheating?

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Man? I don't know. I just she just recently started
a job and she's been told late night. I don't know.
She just she's been like she's been less communicated to me,
and she says it's just like the project deadlines. And
I don't know. I just have noticed that she'd become distant,
like she's been the protective of her phone too. But

(00:43):
I don't know. Last week she claimed to be working late,
but her car GPS history showed that she was down
at a park, you know, near downtown. So that was
not good.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
And her car was parked downtown. Yeah, and she doesn't
work downtown.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
No, okay, so she said she was where did you
check the GPS because you thought something shady might be
going on or something?

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Yeah, exactly, and then when I brought it up, she
got all defensive and just she said that she needed
air and didn't want to argue, and yeah, so I
don't know. I mean, like we've been together for like
five years, like you, like you kind of brought up
and I don't know, we just started talking about moving
in with each other, and I just I'm freaked out
and I just want to know.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
So it's unlike her to be like this. Does she
ever had in the past. Has she ever had like
moments where she just kind of shuts down a little bit,
because you know, sometimes emotionally people you need to check
out a little bit. And it's not always cheating. But
you've been with her for five years, so you would
know if that's something that she would do.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Yeah, this does. Still it's still different.

Speaker 3 (01:45):
Is there anybody that you think it could be with?

Speaker 2 (01:50):
No, Honestly, I have no clue.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
Do you know her coworkers.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Not really just like you know, her mentioning them here
and there, but she's really hanging out with them like that.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Does her job require her to work late? I mean
you're saying she's saying she's working late, But like, what
kind of job would that be.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
No, she definitely doesn't. She never really worked late, Like
no that I'm talking about it. No, Okay, it's just
completely out of character.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
But now all of a sudden she is working late,
but when you check her GPS, it wasn't.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
Where her work is exactly. How is she with you?
Other than that one moment when you confronted her and
obviously she didn't want to talk about it, Has she
been acting normal?

Speaker 2 (02:29):
She's kind of like for the most part, Yeah, but
like there's just been like little like just moments where
I feel like, like I said, like she's been like
real protective of her phone and she's just been like
it's just been feeling like it's been harder to get deep,
like you know, connect people with her as recently.

Speaker 3 (02:46):
Okay, like she's somewhere else.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
Yeah, like she's somewhere else exactly.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
All Right, Well, we'll see if we can figure it out.
Then we'll play a song come back, and then call
her and pretend to be from the grocery store that
she's a rewards card remember at and say that every
single month, who's one lucky Rewards member who gets a
free gift from us, and it's flowers delivered from our
floor apartments to anybody that they want, and we'll see
if she sends that to you or somebody else.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
Okay, okay, sound good, I appreciate it.

Speaker 1 (03:11):
All right, we'll get you to catch a teater next
right in the middle of to catch a teeter and
if you're just joining us. Timothy is on the phone
and he thinks that his girlfriend, Tara of five years
might be cheating. So we're about to call her and
pretend to be from the grocery store that she's a
rewards card member at and say that every single month,
we choose one rewards member who gets a free gift

(03:32):
for being such a valued customer, and it's flowers delivered
to anybody that you want, and we'll see if she
sends those to her boyfriend Timothy or to somebody else.
But first, Timothy, why don't you recap your situation for
us real quick?

Speaker 2 (03:44):
Yeah, man, she's just been We're gonna get a play
her over five years. Like you said, she's just been
a little bit more distant and quiet. Well, she said
she was at work, and I just kind of felt suspicious.
It was real late that night, so I checked the
car's GPS and I said her car downtown and that's
not where she works.

Speaker 1 (04:02):
Yeah, all right, are you ready for us to call her?

Speaker 2 (04:05):
Let's do it.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
Okay, here we go. Hello, Hi, this is Corbo calling
from I was looking for our rewards member named Tara.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
This is Tara.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Hi, Tarah, Please don't hang up. This is not a
marketing phone call. I'm actually calling to say congratulations. You're
this month's lucky winner.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
Where do I win? I do? I've never heard of
this before. Oh.

Speaker 1 (04:38):
Every single month we choose one rewards member who gets
a free gift from us, and this month it's flowers
delivered from our floral department, absolutely free. It's thirty six
longstim red roses, a box of candy or chocolate, and
a card to be delivered to anybody that you want.

Speaker 4 (04:53):
Oh dangs, that's really nice.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
Okay, here we go. The first thing I would need
would be the first and the last name, and then
we'll get anything you want to put on the card
and the address and that's it.

Speaker 4 (05:05):
Okay, Well on the card, could you put Sometimes the
best escapes are the ones we don't have to explain.

Speaker 5 (05:17):
Thank you for understanding.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
That's the best escape.

Speaker 5 (05:22):
So and I'll be sending the flowers to Caleb.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
Got it great? Thank you so much. And now I'll
let you know that this is not a grocery store.
It's actually a radio show. Hi.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
I'm Nina.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
Hi I am Victoria, and my name is Jubal and
this is the Jewbil Show.

Speaker 5 (05:40):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
And we do a segment on the show called takatcha
Cheetah where if you think your significant other might be
messing around, you can see who they send flowers to.
And your boyfriend Timothy is on the phone, Derek Caleb.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
Who's Caleb? Here? The hell is Caleb? Kennothy? Like? What
cal him down?

Speaker 1 (06:02):
Like?

Speaker 2 (06:02):
Do you not trust me?

Speaker 1 (06:03):
Like?

Speaker 2 (06:03):
What? Karen just answered the question? Who the hell is Caleb?

Speaker 3 (06:08):
Is?

Speaker 2 (06:08):
Why whying to me saying that you needed to go
get air? Has you just been hanging out with Caleb
the whole time? Okay?

Speaker 5 (06:17):
Timothy, why do you think I'm cheating?

Speaker 4 (06:21):
Wait?

Speaker 2 (06:21):
What do you mean? Why? Why do I think you're cheating?
First of all, you're using whining to me and you're
saying or you're at someplace and you're not. I've checked
your card GPS and now you're now you're writing and
giving these flowers to someone named Caleb. You checked my cards? Yeah,
I checked it because you've been showy lately and you

(06:43):
said you were going to be at work and you
weren't at work, So what were you?

Speaker 4 (06:48):
Timothy?

Speaker 5 (06:50):
Caleb is my therapist, Okay, I've been seeing him since
the start a new job. That card wasn't what I
found him like. He's helped me deal with something anxiety,
and I didn't know how to talk to you about
it yet. There's just been a lot of in my
life and the job's been really chressing me out, and
I just I wanted to.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
Kind of keep this to myself. You've been seeing your
therapist a lay that night, and that's who you just
sent flowers to.

Speaker 5 (07:14):
I mean, yeah, he's been helping me out a lot.
I don't Yeah, yeah, but it.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
Was ten o'clock at night. What therapist works at ten
o'clock at night.

Speaker 5 (07:25):
Well, I can't believe you checked my GPS.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
That's good. Yeah, I had to check your GPS because
you were acting shady and it turns out you haven't
been where you said you were going to be, So
I'm glad I did check your GPS. I want to
know more about this Caleb guy. You are told you
who I was. He's my therapist. Yeah, it doesn't sound
like he's just your therapist. Are you cheating? How meny? Kara? No, Kara,

(07:49):
it was ten o'clock at night. There are no therapists
that meet at ten o'clock at night. What were you
doing at ten o'clock at night with this therapist named Caleb?
I don't get it.

Speaker 4 (07:58):
Well, we met up for dinner because he just wanted.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
To talk more. Okay, yeah, so you'll know what.

Speaker 5 (08:07):
No, he just wanted to talk more and he's been
helping me out through some stuff, and so I thought
this would be nice.

Speaker 2 (08:13):
Or is he your therapist?

Speaker 5 (08:15):
He's my therapist, Timothy, Are you not listening to me?

Speaker 2 (08:19):
But he wanted to meet up with you for dinner
so he could talk more. That makes no sense, Sarah.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
Don't don't you know take you out to dinner? No,
they're not allowed to you.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
Yeah, I don't think that they're like they're allowed to
take their clients out to dinner, Tara. So you're gonna
have to come up with a better one, man.

Speaker 5 (08:36):
I mean, I don't know the ethical code for you know,
a therapist, but like he's been helping me out I
don't know what you want to say. He just said
he wanted to, you know, get a little deeper into stuff,
and I understand what I've been going through.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
So yeah, this just all sounds like such both, Tarah,
why don't you just treming what's going on so we
could stop wasting each other's time. And also, that's right,
I remember, you know, going out of town next weekend.
I'm assuming that's what Caleb right talk.

Speaker 5 (09:06):
Well, yeah, but it's like a it's like a therapeutic retreat.

Speaker 2 (09:11):
What okay, you can just stay on that retreat. You
don't need to come back.

Speaker 5 (09:18):
Fine, you know what, maybe I will have fun on
the retreat. And even if nothing happened now, it's gonna
happen on the retreat, so I will have fun.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
Thanks.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
Hey, Timothy, she hung up care of them. I'm sorry, man,
Dang that sucks. Dude, she was messing around. I'm sorry, dude.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
Well, I appreciate you guys helping me out.

Speaker 3 (09:41):
Yeah, at least now, you know, well, at.

Speaker 2 (09:45):
Least now I have a new mission. Now I'm gonna
go find this Caleb guy and make sure he gets
his life he's taken away, because this is messed up.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
Ye who knows well, Good luck man.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
Thanks Guy The Jewell Show.

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
