more active than I thought it would be. And it's
a lot more interactive, especially like this company. They do
really well when it comes to K pop events. But
last time they did it was really good. I quite
enjoyed it.

Yeah, yeah, okay, all right, BTS, Monster X, Big Ocean
are all falling off of the cliff.

Speaker 3 (02:47):

them a own person for two days straight. And let's
just say they took my heart.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
So you've seen Big Ocean two times. You've seen Boomhan
one time. Boomhan and Big Ocean are on a cliff.
We're falling, about to die. You have one rope. Who
would you save?

Speaker 3 (03:28):

Speaker 2 (04:13):
What how often do you see like events like this
in Minnesota here?

Speaker 8 (04:22):
I'm gonna say not too often. But that's because I'm
not really like into K pop like that. Okay, So
I was kind of forced to come now, lie, Okay,
but I still I still love K pop. K Pop's great.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
Okay. What kind of music do you listen to?

Speaker 6 (04:38):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (04:39):

is on a cliff. Well as your first exposure to
K pop here in Minnesota, what did you think about.

Speaker 3 (04:59):
The whole exp Uh?

Speaker 8 (05:01):
I think it was great. I did come here right
after work, so I was only here for all the concerts,
but I wish I was here earlier for like all
the vendors and all that and so. But other than that,
the concerts was really good.

Speaker 9 (05:14):
WHOA, all right, I'm gonna pass the mic around one
more time, and everybody, if you could just introduce yourself
again in anything that you want to say to the audience,
or like anything you want to say to me, that'll
be that'll be amazing and.

Speaker 3 (05:30):
Wonderful if we could get that. So we'll start with you.

Speaker 5 (05:32):
Okay, Yeah, my name is Yolani.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
I liked the event.

Speaker 5 (05:39):
It was really nice. One thing they say you was
thank you for coming because it was nice. And I've
been trying to come to like if you had a
concert and I was like, come here, Come here, Come here.

Speaker 6 (05:53):
My name is Kia, and I would say that I've
been a big fan of you since your TikTok days
when you first started. So this is like a huge
manifestation from me too, so thank you for coming. It's
also thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
Okay.

Speaker 8 (06:12):
My name is Sujer. I want to say this concert
was really great, but this is my first time, like
you know, finding out who you are, and I I
really enjoyed it. And uh, you're definitely going to be
in my playlist starting starting from now.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
Yes, yes, yes, new fan.

Speaker 8 (06:38):
Yes. And and Laundry. If you guys know who that
is Laundry, Yes, Laundry you know, no Laundry, she's coming here.
I think she came here. Yes, yes, her nickname is Laundry.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
Oh, I do not know that. I'm a performative fan. Okay.

Speaker 4 (06:55):
My name is Shamara, and I want to thank you
for coming here. Even though it was like like last
minute I heard you. Really appreciate it. You made everything
so much better and for like other K pop groups
out there, come to the Midwest, especially Minnesota. We got
to hear your hype. We're hyped here, come here.

Speaker 3 (07:11):
The crowd was so amazing. Really the energy was something.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
I've I haven't felt in such a long time, So
thank you, h you could keep it.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
What is your favorite thing about K pop? The way
they have choreographies?

Speaker 4 (07:22):
They go full out a lot of other groups.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
Did you watch that new show K pop they had
like they had the Megan d' stallion trying to do
K pop choreography?

Speaker 3 (07:31):
I have, I have.

Speaker 6 (07:34):
Not, but I will.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
I will watch it check it out. Thank you for
your answer. What's your favorite thing about key pop?

Speaker 8 (07:40):
He has the choreography and definitely the stories in their
in their music videos. I love them so much, especially
I was I grew up with XO graul Well. I
love that there there is not the music video, but
there the story video. I don't know, I remember, I
don't remember what it's called, but it was really cool.

Speaker 6 (08:01):
Okay, I would say my favorite thing about K pop
is most importantly definitely the choreographies. They're really intense and
most are just fun. In general, they're really creative. And
then the music they're so like varied in different genres.
And also on top of that, it's like the community,
especially in the Midwest, our communities are very tight knit

(08:24):
and everything here and I just love that about the
K pop community in this area in Minnesota.

Speaker 5 (08:31):
Wow, my favorite thing is the choreography, but also the
storytelling that's behind each video and each sometimes each album.
But also just like he has said, the community is
very tight knit. Like all of us met based off
of K pop and listening to K pop. So it's
just it's it's really like we feel like we're family here,

(08:53):
and there's a lot of times like we look out
for each other also, or we'll do like community things
to help, like think an artist or something and posted
on social media. So that's just my favorite things about it.

Speaker 3 (09:03):
Wow, that's the wish.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
Thank you guys for your answers, and thank you guys
to the radio listeners.

Speaker 3 (09:12):
This is the.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
Okay, okay, okay, all right, okay, thank you guys for
your answers. Thank you for participating in the podcast. And
I think that this podcast is doing something special. Someone
came out to me today and it was like a dad.
He was like, Yo, thank you so much for the
K factor. I listen to your podcast every week and

(09:35):
it helps me connect deeper with my daughter.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
I'm like, WHOA, So you guys are like adding.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
To that experience for someone so thank you and thank
you for your stories and.

Speaker 3 (09:44):
If possible, thank you guys. Can we get a round
with Blaus before our Yeah, hey, hey, hey, don't leave yet.
We have big news for you.

Speaker 6 (09:57):
Bullhawk's nes.

Speaker 3 (10:00):
Dancing on the Light is now released. Take a look
at the hot new video.

Speaker 5 (10:05):
On YouTube or you streaming on the iHeart app, Apple
Music or Spotify or wherever in your music.

Speaker 3 (10:18):
Now, come on over.

Speaker 2 (10:19):
I don't buy I don't buy it today. All right, Well,
I know you, but the for the listeners, can you
please introduce yourself absolutely.

Speaker 10 (10:30):
I'm Andrew Malandas. I'm the CEO of Minnesota k Pop
Connect and we had the blessing and the opportunity to
host you today and thank you so much for being here.

Speaker 3 (10:39):
It was so it was.

Speaker 2 (10:40):
So much fun and thank you for having me. You
can keep it, okay, I think it catches me.

Speaker 8 (10:43):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (10:44):
Yeah, and Loki, I'm like super loud.

Speaker 2 (10:45):
Okay, and this as I see you right now as
like the person who's kind of like leading the way
and like opening up all these opportunities for people to
come to Minnesota and spread kpop and really your hospitality,
your energy, like things are going to blow up here.
If you keep on doing what you're doing. Thank you
for allowing me to be a part of it. And like,
I have a question, how do you see the Kibok

(11:07):
community in Minnesota right now?

Speaker 10 (11:09):
As it is growing every day. So we started this
and we started hosting events, we'd have ten fifteen people there.
Now our events average five six hundred. And then thank
you for being such a big part of our first
convention here in Minnesota. I think you helped prove that
we have thousands of fans here that want to be
a part of it. So we don't have to go
to LA and we don't have to go to the
East coast to get big events. And we'd love to

(11:29):
keep bringing it back.

Speaker 6 (11:31):
Yeah, thank you.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
Okay, so where do you see this going in the future.

Speaker 10 (11:35):
Yeah, we strive to be as big as Kekan, La.
I think that's our ultimate goal. We are in St.
Paul right now, which is the smaller of the city.
Maybe next year we move over to Minneapolis, the bigger city,
and we keep bringing bigger events. We know we want
to make it a multi day event next year, so
instead of one long day, we'll do a couple of
shorter days.

Speaker 2 (11:53):
Okay, Okay, that was a lot of fun. What was
your favorite part about today?

Speaker 10 (11:57):
It's always the community, right, I mean you're seeing the
community of people and just all the people that came
here as that didn't know each other, and they all
left as friends we continue to see all day. Uh,
and then watching their faces as they watch people like
you perform and you guys as amazing performers and you
put on a phenomenal show.

Speaker 6 (12:12):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
Yeah. So to all the parents watching who was thinking about,
like maybe I should bring my kid to a K
pop concert and I don't know, they're begging.

Speaker 3 (12:19):
What would you say to that parent?

Speaker 10 (12:21):
Oh, I think K pop is the best community and
the best good, clean fun you can have. And every
time we come to events, it's always a family affair.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
So I see that people are really like driving people
like six hours to come here. Yeah, that means you
really really put on a good show. So like, good job, man.
I really hope I can be.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
Part of this as long as her and like this
is this is something amazing.

Speaker 10 (12:41):
Yeah, we will happily have you back. We had fourteen
states represented so here in the in this and we
had people from the UK come over and all over,
so you were welcome back and anything.

Speaker 3 (12:50):
I saw her at the airport, he said, I came
from the UK. I said, oh, I said for what
she said mean me? God?

Speaker 6 (12:57):
OK, that's awesome.

Speaker 3 (12:59):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (13:00):
Is there anything that you would like to say to
the radio audience or anybody listening today.

Speaker 10 (13:03):
Keep listening to K Factor, Thank you so much to
go home, keep listening to him and keep supporting K pop.

Speaker 3 (13:10):
Yeah all right, thank you man, Thank you so much.
Lovely appreciate he studio audience.

Speaker 2 (13:23):

Mini Con, and I have so much fun. God bless
everybody here, God bless the energy. And I'm so excited
to be back here. And if you guys are listening here,
