I never started off wanting to become a secessionist. This
is Marcus Ruiz Evans. He's an author from Fresno, California,
and back in twelve he had a big idea, what
if it's time to end the United States as we
know it. America's entering a period of extreme kickoffs and

(00:24):
we're gonna reach some kind of breaking point for Americans
across the country to ask themselves, is this something that
we want to continue? And I think it is time
to start asking should America begin again? The United States
is more divided than ever, which has led a group
of activists in California to make a radical proposal to leave.

(00:45):
They called their movement cal Exit. So I really see
California as this kind of life raft. We can escape
the sinking empire. We don't have to go down in
the ship. We have to get connected as California's and
push for cal Exit before they take away and are right,
because this isn't gonna stop. Cal Exit was started by
Marcus and a friend, Louis Marinelli, exploded in size, but

as the movement grew, so did the concerns. The guy
who's leading the California Independent Woman is sitting in Moscow
next to this guy who's we know is funded by
the Kremlin. He was taking orders from THEFS feed with
the intended purpose of destroying America, and that showed me
how crazy he was. Could Kyle Exit be a solution

to America's problems or could accelerate the breakdown of our democracy?
The most violent civil wars are the ones over succession.
