Mark Gray, and the Boss the Skipper Rob Parker. Let's

Speaker 2 (00:34):
As the Mets and Nets battle it out over these
last twenty games or so to stay out of the seller.
Speaker 3 (00:39):
In the National League East, CJ.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
Abrams, shortstop for the Washington Nationals, is capping off a
very impressive second season, securing his fortieth stolen base on
Wednesday night. With that stolen base, he becomes the third
player in National's history to reach that mark. Abrams went
one for three with a walk in RBI and two
stolen bases and a three two victory over the Mets.
(01:03):
Abrams came up big in the seventh inning a two
out smack single that tied the score to two. The
young Buck followed that up with a swipeer second base
that was his fortieth of the season.
Speaker 4 (01:16):
Goes at first No.
Speaker 5 (01:18):
Throw check and steal of the night and number forty
for Cjabrams for.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
NLB dot Com.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
The second year player is the ninth MLB player since
two thousand to steal at least forty bags prior to
his age twenty three season. Woo. He ranks fourth in
the majors in that category and has added some pop
fifteen homers, fifty two RBI, sixty eight runs and a
not too shabby two forty five two ninety six to
(01:46):
four oh three slash over those one hundred and thirty games.
I mean, sky's the limit for this guy. Abrams is blossoming.
Number five is an issue and the Nats run to
come up.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
Who's look against c J. Abrams.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
He's catching all that Brookie slack. Now it's bad, it's placing.
He wanted to bring the city back. That's how we
do it.
Speaker 3 (02:21):
When CJ.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
Brock is fitted captain Nats a threp in DC, it's
time to bring the city back. Sixty three long and
lanky with the blister back the Bend of Bros. Got
the Nats myn elite system back to one solo trade.
Mike Grizzo wanted to fade you, not out far and
the GM hoop been nice for days. That's the leather
ball in the hole. Yeah, he getting that spinning on
(02:44):
his back. Make the throw yo, he roll for that.
Another Georgia boy employed to reckon destroy the MLB bro scene.
So high lights your boy average creeping up Homer's double digits.
The Nats are in the cut with the tunnel vision,
and as the team grows, so will Abrams game. This
ain't that team flow. Aprams already in the game, and
(03:07):
you see the progression as he's rising from thing. He's
learning to win walk offs, homers and missiles. This ain't
the next and Abrams. Joey don't double dripple. He hits
doubles and triples. The effected ripple number five is initial
CJ April. He's catching off that rookie slack that's bad
at placing. He wants to bring the city back back.
Speaker 3 (03:28):
How we do it?
Speaker 2 (03:29):
When CJ bactis fld it capta nots of reping DC,
it's time to bring the cifty back. Look at DJ Abrils.
He's catching off that rookie slack that's bad as placing.
Speaker 3 (03:40):
He wants to bring the city back. That's how we
do it.
Speaker 2 (03:43):
When CJ Boctus Fait the Captain, thats a rep in DC.
It's time to bring the city.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
It's the right.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
Well.
Speaker 6 (04:06):
It's those Classic Kids with David Grubby grow podcast.
Speaker 5 (04:13):
It's those Classic Kids with David.
Speaker 6 (04:17):
Grow on MLB ROW podcasts.
Speaker 7 (04:24):
What's up, everybody. I'm David Grubb and welcome to another
week of Classic Kids on the MLB bro Show podcast
The Mixtape. You can also catch my column Diamond Cuts
every Monday on mlbbro dot com. There are many players
in Major League Baseball history with the resume of Gary Sheffield.
Sheffield has been on the baseball map since he was
a kid, playing in the Little League World Series back
(04:44):
in nineteen eighty and then making his big League debut
for the Milwaukee Brewers at the age of nineteen. Chef
has been on the borderline for Hall of Fame induction
for some time after career that saw him a mass
nine All Star appearances, five Silver Slugger Awards, a Batting title,
and a World Series championship. He's one of only fifteen
players in Major League history to hit more than five
(05:04):
hundred home runs with a batting average of at least
to ninety but today on Class of kids were looking
at a couple of statistical anomalies that Sheffield accomplished on
the same day just a few years apart. On September eighth,
nineteen ninety six, while playing for the Florida Marlins and
facing off against future Hall of Famer Pedro Martinez, Chef
had a fifth inning home run that broke the big
League record for total round trippers in a season, which
(05:27):
had been set back during the nineteen eighty seventh season.
Twelve years later, same day, now with the Detroit Tigers,
Gary Sheffield put himself in the record books once again,
this time with a two home run performance, the second
of which being the two hundred and fifty thousandth home
run in Major League Baseball history. He would finish that
season with four hundred and ninety nine career home runs,
(05:48):
adding number five hundred next season with the New York Mets,
As usual, Chef had to be different. He was the
first player ever to hit five hundred as a pitch hitter,
and the first to do so in a Mets uniform.
With all of these career accolades and achievements, Gary Sheffield
still awaits his call to Cooperstown. Fortunately, there's still time
to make that wrong into a right.
Speaker 4 (06:09):
This has been classic.
Speaker 5 (06:10):
Kids. Now back to the mix.
Speaker 1 (06:21):
Going deep with og Mark Ray.
Speaker 8 (06:24):
Now that these crossed the four hundred home run threshold,
is gen Carlo Stanton trending towards the Hall of Fame?
It's your Boy the mlbog Mark Gray and I'm rocking
the mic for the mix tape when New York Yankee
slugger G and Carlo Stanton went deep for the four
hundredth time in his career. After another extended stay on
the entered list, his place in baseball his history remains
(06:49):
well Murphy at best. Consider Stanton's four hundredth flast came
in to win over the Detroit Tigers and mark reaching
the plateau and the board games played by any Major
League er in history. But the odd tests to your
boy doesn't seem to measure up. Maybe it's me, but
(07:10):
I can't think of a team defining moment to validate
his greatness when you think of great clutch performers who
have put a team on his back and carried them
to a championship. Unfortunately, my recollections of Stanton borrowing a
significant change in his injurious career will be more of
a guy who spent more time on his back from
(07:33):
injuries than he did being a catalyst to championship teams. Instead,
he was more of a pothole. Stanton figures to hit
more than five hundred home runs if he continues at
his current paste over the next three to four years.
But even if there's a plaque in Cooperstown and he
continues to spend as much time as he does on
(07:54):
the injury list as he does in the minor Stanton
faces the dubious possible disability. I don't remembered as one
who spent more time in the training room than he
did on the field. It's your boy, the mlbog Mark Gray,
and I'm going deep for the mix take.
Speaker 5 (08:16):
It's the Black A Report, the Black Age Report.
Speaker 6 (08:22):
It's the black Age Report, the Black Age Report.
Speaker 9 (08:27):
What's up, everybody? This is justin Perchirley with the Black
A Report on the MLB Bro Show podcast mixtape. Here's
where you get the latest on the melody that Mountain
marauders were shoveling with precision and popping out all across
the big leagues. So let's at the report time. One
Walker continues to argue, we have the best season of
his career. Walker pitched on September fourth against the Padres,
where he went five innings, giving up five hits and
(08:48):
four runs. Well not his best start, it was good
enough where he was able to pick up his fifteenth
win of the season, Now fifteen to five on the year.
Before the season, Walker had never won more than twelve starts,
and his seven fifty one percent is the best he's
ever had when he's played a full season. In his
last fifteen starts, the Phillies are thirteen to two and
he has a three point to zero ERA during that span.
(09:09):
After having his best start since returning from the sixty
day injured list, Hunter Green won the COVID nineteen injured
list on September first, requiring him to be there for
at least seven days and forcing him to miss at
least one start. The good news is that Green is
getting better from his COVID diagnosis, as the Reds look
to take him off the COVID list as soon as
he is eligible to be removed, and have named him
their probable started for Sunday, September tenth against the Cardinals.
(09:31):
After spending more than a month in Triple A, the
race finally recalled rookie TODJ. Bradley and made his first
start since being recalled on Sunday, September third against the Guardians.
Bradley was terrific in his return, going five innings, allowing
three hits, one earned run, and seven strikeouts. It was
only a matter of time for Bradley to get recalled.
With Ray's ace Shane McClanahan done for the year and
with the race almost certainly playing in October, Bradley's going
(09:53):
to have to step in and step up. That's the
black As report for this week. This is JP the Brook.
Speaker 4 (09:57):
Now back to the mix. I dove soos down.
Speaker 2 (10:15):
I'm on the baseline. If you want to see me,
you better try face time. I'm on my ten brains
time swipe the base time coach keeping benching to try
and tip the face mind. I got the wheeling ability,
Plus my pops taught me the she's got the plate
and on the passing not suffy.
Speaker 4 (10:29):
I should get ticked off. My rock's fuffy. You just
bele to come on and I'm on my horse on down.
I'm in the earth song. But all I'm thinking I
trying to hit the first y'all, we got no runs
to here.
Speaker 2 (10:41):
Send me struggling coach talking out, don't run, keep bugging,
But myn damn, I'm on the first, y'all. The catcher
never had a chance to even throw the ball. Now
I'm going the third, scrambling and rambling. I slided the
whole like I'm on my belly. Hamilton met Thos, damn
my back at the plate. They've seen the legs. I
let me show them I can bring. That's what I
(11:01):
call my shaking bake double in the gap, Monster, the lake,
the banks at the plate.
Speaker 4 (11:06):
Black and Crab, flash and mass team.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
James Wood, j Ales and the logic Greenyon, Greenstone, gay
definite red fabric. I'm pushing back against the savage for
status definite.
Speaker 4 (11:17):
Boys make out.
Speaker 2 (11:18):
Automatic his head and the shift like the names on
the black pins shows at the girl starts Finn again.
It design and moments are playing man the linz so
damn the one.
Speaker 4 (11:28):
Can catch me.
Speaker 2 (11:29):
My work ethic give me jash is a back speed.
It's the ever be broke music Factory, the dirt picking fake,
the liquor black men strategy.
Speaker 4 (11:51):
Out Let me find it.
Speaker 10 (12:02):
Four wings opousa plus.
Speaker 11 (12:05):
Baseball is a game of stats. I'm Sebastian Ball, and
I'm the.
Speaker 3 (12:09):
Numbers man man.
Speaker 11 (12:13):
Devin Williams has been a dominant force ever since he
became an impact reliever in Milwaukee, and he could be
one of the most unhittable arms in the entire league.
With his consistently elite production and out of this world stuck,
it is no exaggeration to say that Williams is the
best reliever in baseball.
Speaker 12 (12:31):
So far.
Speaker 11 (12:32):
In twenty twenty three, Williams is putting up his second
consecutive season of at least fifty innings pitch and less
than an RRA of two, combining for three point seven
vangrass wins above replacement out of the bullpen across the
two seasons. As of September sixth, Williams is a skill
interactive ERRA of just two point ninety five and a
fielding independent pitching of two point seven to eight. This
(12:56):
is facilitated by out of this world changeup, which has
forty one drop in nineteen point eight inches of break
with a run value per one hundred pitches of two
point four. His changeup is one of the best pitches
in all of baseball. Williams is in the ninety nine
percentile in wig percentage, strikeout percentage and ninety eighth in
(13:16):
expected batting average against. With this consistent dominant form, Williams
is truly one of the most impactful arms in baseball,
and he's a huge part of the Brewer's push for
postseason success.
Speaker 2 (13:28):
That's Young Seba breaking it down the numbers Man Analytical
Wiz on MLB Bro Show podcast The Mixed Tape Episode
twenty three.
Speaker 12 (13:41):
Is he no.
Speaker 5 (13:46):
Young Kirt? He had to tell you about the bro Bombers.
Speaker 1 (13:49):
He had to tell you about Mo Drop.
Speaker 13 (13:50):
What's up, everybody? This is Young Kurt and this is
my wyknda of the biggest plays made by MLB bros
over the past seven days. This week come we get
at number five. We have Los Angeles Angels second basement
Kyron Harris, who made his debut last weekend and got
his first career hit and steel on Sunday in a
two to one loss with the Ames up. Next to
number four, we have Pittsburgh prior thurd base with key
(14:12):
Brian Hayes put up the stat sheet on Monday, then
get triple a home run, recording your run and getting
an RBI in a four two win of the more
off the Group group sitting in this spot if We've
got twins second basin Royce Lewis, if we see it
in Hot Street this week and capped it off with
another Grand Slam. It's third in the last eight games.
This time it came in route to a twenty to
(14:33):
sixth victory over the Cleveland Guardian. And at number two
this week, we have Dodgers outfitter Jason Hay who had
her monster week like an eight hit with the double,
two horm runs and six RBI. Finally number one on
Chris Countdown, we have Dodger star Mookie Betts who stepped
up to the occasion over the weekend and two home
runs on Thursday in the first game with a four
(14:53):
game set against the Atlanta Braves. Betts is in a
race with the bravest outfitter Ronald o'c clean Junior for
LMVP and this weekend performance this Seagle a long way
and determined who was the awards. That's it until next week.
I'm your k and it has when Krik's count Down
on the mv bro Show podcasts Now that is a miss.
Speaker 3 (15:18):
Taking a look at the NL East.
Speaker 14 (15:19):
Of course, Atlanta Bred is a number more team in baseball,
leading the MLB by large margin with most team home
runs with two sixty three, fifty more than the closest
team in the LA Dodgers. What about the other teams
in the division if you had a Philadelphia Phillies and
making a ton of noise. Taiwan Walker is having a
phenomenal season, being a big boost. He had some great
wins under his belt this season, posting a fifteen to
five record as a starter, third best working in MLB
(15:41):
for starting pitchers four fifteen. He already one hundred and
twenty three strikes with a one thirty two whips. While
the Marlins is sitting the half a game behind the
Reds for the last wildcard spot. This weekend three game
series starting tonight at seven oh five pm East of time,
Philadelphia Phillies versus Miami Marlins be a great moment for
the season. Jazz Chishom has a spark lit having a
pressure seven game run eleven hits, three home runs, eight RBI,
(16:04):
seven runs with a three fifty five bad average.
Speaker 8 (16:06):
Josh Bell's playing well.
Speaker 14 (16:07):
For the team also, It'll be a moment for the
Marlins at the playoff hope to be spoiled or not.
Marlins played last year in the World Series, running around
for Philadelphia Phillies this weekend, number one team in Atlanta
Breds next weekend. I'm not screaming spoiler alert, but if
Josh Beld Jash Chisel don't spark this show, there'll be
a game out of playoffs. As MLB brought out Commas
Summer and everything black and Brown and baseball as we'll
(16:28):
be serving it up all season long right here on
mb Bros Podcast, The Mixtape Up, Debond Cook Stay Hugging.
Speaker 3 (16:43):
Podcast, Get It on Apple Podcast. I heard.
Speaker 2 (16:52):
When I step up to the plate yacht up in
the fattest box, do mens fall off my waist yacht?
I got the game on padded VP. Mookie bests. That's
my ale, like a melanated king. So baby gets your

We believe in the minds. That mold plunge hit is
in rocking roll that rocks the soul with the exit
(17:13):

pole left the picture leaning like a junkie hoose. Snort
in dope. But this is the land, the whole being

I step up, took the plate yacht up in the

MVP Mookie best. That's my a of like a melanated king.
So baby gets your slid up right. MLB Broke Show
(18:20):

it to the ballparks back to the field. Average judge
had sixty two bombs for real. We don't believe in.
Speaker 4 (18:32):
The lines that soul. We believe in the minds that
mold clutch.
Speaker 2 (18:35):
It is zip rocking roll that rocks the soul with

and slamming light Stanton taking soul from the horseman, fire rings,
starting riots, Kerosene the rundown Supreme. The bros know what
(19:18):
I mean.
Speaker 10 (19:22):
This is Rachel Hill and I'm taking you from first
to third with Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Mookie Bets. When
Mooki isn't mashing home runs, doing dances, beating his opponents
with his exciting play on the field, or beating others
in ping pong, he is tending to his charity, the
Fifty to Fifty Foundation that he started with his wife, Brianna.
The Fifty to Fifty Foundation believes in every kid's incredible potential.
(19:46):
They're committed to breaking the barriers that hold them back,
especially when it comes to their medical and financial needs.
The Fifty to Fifty Foundation empowers the next generation to
make the most of their lives and make a bigger
difference in our world. And partnershi with UCLA Health, the
Fifty to Fifty Foundation has created the bets on Us Funds.
Bets on Us is a program to work with local
(20:06):
hospitals and paying medical expenses for children who cannot afford
the burdening cost of care. In addition, each quarter, the
Fifty to Fifty Foundation will organize a toy drive that
will aid a spreading joy throughout local hospitals. Team Mooki
has established a grassroots youth basketball programming to compete and
travel throughout the United States since twenty twenty one. The
(20:28):
organization creates cultural enrichment, scholarship, and educational advancement opportunities for
inner city at risk youth from the Metro Nashville area.
As a kickoff event for the charity, Mooki and Breonna
Betts hosted the first annual bowling event through their Fifty
to Fifty Foundation with friends, family, and bands participating at
Lucky Strike in La Life. It's huge betset of the
(20:50):
night to help raise awareness and resources for children in need.
When I initially got here was COVID, so I wasn't
familiar with any of the territory. But now that it's
opened up up, I'm able to get out and set
my sights on where we can help kids is our direction.
Along with the bone tournament that Bets participated in, the
night included a silent auction that featured autograph memorabiliar from
(21:11):
Sandy Kofax, Tom Brady, and more sports icons. Mooki also
volunteers with the Dodgers and their various charity initiatives.
Speaker 4 (21:19):
Mooki, you are the man. Keep doing what you're doing.
Speaker 2 (21:28):
That Mookie Bets had a heck of in August Historic
even but Jose Altuve's recent home run purge three home
runs in three innings, four home runs in four.
Speaker 3 (21:40):
Consecutives at bets.
Speaker 2 (21:42):
Is it foul affair to say that Jose Altuve's recent
offensive explosion is the best of any player this year
in MLB? Despite Mookie's August fair, Jose Altuve hasn't had.
Speaker 3 (21:57):
The best season.
Speaker 2 (21:58):
But then again, October is coming in future Hall of
famers and multiple World champions like Altuve, who's also battled
aging and injuries this year. When they are locked in,
you tend to give prolific streaks like this one that
only great players provide. You can't be fluky and mashed
like our tuove and have a tear like this. It's
(22:20):
just the credit to his professionalism, as he said, he
approached every at bat the saying this year, regardless of
whether or not he was one for thirty or on
a tear like he is now his recent woodwacking exhibition.
So Bookie Betts had an historical month of August and
that can't be denied, becoming just the third person in
(22:42):
history to hit at least four fifty with fifty hits
and ten homers. But check this out, Altuve had homer
in four consecutive at bats, going back to houston thirteen
to six win in the series opener on Monday that
ended with the groundout in the fifth inning. He tied
the MLB wrecord with five homers in a two game
(23:04):
span and is the first player since nineteen sixty one
to homer in four consecutive innings. According to the Elias
Sports Bureau at MLB dot com, that's Reggie Jackson's stuff.
So there's been some great offensive feats this season, but
as far as power surges go, the diminutive OUTTU eight
(23:25):
takes the cake.
Speaker 4 (23:27):
Go figure.
Speaker 10 (23:37):
This is Rachel Hill, and this is my two cents
on Aaron Judge, outfielder for the New York Yankees. Aaron
Judge is changing the game of baseball by being a
six foot seven slugger who is the all time ALE
single season home run leader, but snacks would be home
runs from batters due to his height. Right now, as
it appears, the Yankees will not be making the playoffs,
but Aaron Judge is winning off the field with this
(23:57):
All Rise Foundation. The All Rise mission is to inspire
children and youth to become responsible citizens by engaging them
in activities that encourage them to reach unlimited possibilities. Have
you heard this story about the little boy who grew
up in Lending, California and is now the right builder
for the New York Yankees. Did you know that this
little guy is now six foot seven inches and is
looking for support to encourage children and youth in our
(24:19):
communities to become responsible citizens. Many of our communities are
facing problems related to our children and youth demonstrating underdeveloped
citizenship and a lack of possessing hope for their future.
And that's where the All Rise Foundation and their mission
comes into play. Since the launch in twenty eighteen, they
have had tremendous opportunities to engage in their hometown of Lynden, California,
(24:40):
and more recently in Fresnel. Some foundation and highlights include
the All Rise Foundational Baseball Pro Camp. This camp was
free of charge for students ages nine through fourteen. All
Star Evening fundraisers include a reception, dinner, a program including
a message from the Founder, Aaron Judge, silent auction, and
live auction. All Rise was proud to send one hundred
and eight teen students of Lending Unified School District fifth
(25:02):
through twelfth graders to leadership conferences in two thousand and
nine as part of the All Rights Aspiring leaders Program.
I Fuel Up to Play sixty as a leading in
school nutrition and physical activity program in the country, launched
by the National Dairy Council and NFL. I can help
is to support and participate in the Yankees Bronx Educational
All Star Day design and celebrate academic success, community service involvement,
(25:26):
and leadership skills of nine thousand BRONC students and fifth
through eighth grade. Thank you to the All Rights Foundation
for everything that you do.
Speaker 2 (25:41):
I mean, we're doing this for them.
Speaker 3 (25:44):
They need a movement.
Speaker 2 (25:46):
It's like the pipeline is flooded with players for advanced
and pass certain levels like coup beating against Mike Tyson
and Mike Tyson punch out that I'm saying, the Water Temple,
the Legend of Zelda level. So we had to pour
into these plays and promote them as much as possible
with our talents. I love for the game a better
(26:06):
reason where we played the dream, we see through the
talents of our sons and daughters, we get these black
players a chance to be heard and seen. Because despite
the push for diversity in the game. Number's at the
NLB level of doing list, so nobody should be walking
around thinking they don't need our help. We are frontlining
this Black baseball movement. If you're black and you play
(26:29):
baseball or culture, manage and hold a position where you
influence the future of the game, that you owe it
too the community to help nurture the black generation of
baseball players. Same way we do a mb BRO with
our staff for over sixty young people between the ages
of eighteen and fifty five. We have every generation covered
and our mission is to help shine a light on
our mess, talents, and struggles and triums to black baseball players.
Speaker 11 (26:51):
Man.
Speaker 2 (26:52):
Come on, man and normalize the culture so that we
can support not only players diverse and colors, but diverse
and Personalities's interesting upbringing. We gotta win. We gotta win
me and we're gonna be the mouthpiece and I'll be
bro that brings attention to greatness. They just gotta step
(27:13):
away from it every day and tapping.
Speaker 6 (27:16):
I was a kid playing in the back streets almost
every day, and.
Speaker 5 (27:22):
I made my way.
Speaker 6 (27:24):
Baseball is the game to play, hit the field and
take a cutup of swing, stole and base.
Speaker 5 (27:34):
Culture. But I was a part of Don't take it away.
Don't take it away. That's baseball part of me. Don't
take it away, take it away.
Speaker 3 (27:50):
It's a part of me.
Speaker 2 (27:51):
Yo, you can't take baseball from me. It's a part
of me. You got damn dummy. Some have tried and
something to hit. This is the rundown. Next is the
classic hits. George Springer had five hits on opening day.
Dave Roberts keeps winning like he's supposed to be Great
Jazz Chisholm has a vision for changing the game through
(28:12):
the prism of strategy. We making our way five two
bombers with the ghetto persona, putting ketchup on Earth things,
street fighting pajamas, I swear to your honor, the Rosby spasm.
Don't need NBA two K for a night or Madden.
Just get to the captain, some late night heroics a
night been in triple just to save of the moment
(28:33):
baseball was live, when Jimmy Rollins was holding Royce Lewis
still waiting for his superstar moment.
Speaker 3 (28:39):
Doctor Sticks had big plans to.
Speaker 2 (28:41):
Pro bamb on the league. But this golden gnam is
suffering from fatigue. He'll be back soon, Like I love
for twists and faking the awful doctor stadiums with movies blazing,
Take me.
Speaker 6 (28:51):
Your way way, take it away the baseball part of me, ju,
don't take it away.
Speaker 5 (28:59):
Don't take it away, just part of it. Baseball always
a part of me.
Speaker 2 (29:16):
Like fighting against this is the Billdor oppression and being
selective about the kind of black folks you want in
the game, Like for the stick Hills of Memphis and
Georgia where Yo got here and Killer Mike rose out
of inhumanly oppressing situations to become business mobiles and feel
the dreamer of a talented people.
Speaker 3 (29:37):
Of color the streets in the eighties.
Speaker 4 (29:41):
You know what I mean with dudes like Eric Davis.
Speaker 2 (29:44):
The Downs Doorbay rose up out of poverty and it
just started because they were giving a chance and allowed
to be themselves. I mean, baseball should legislator swag man.
It's a beautiful game with enough room for anybody and
what they bring to the.
Speaker 3 (29:59):
Game, you know, I mean, buy me that baby.
Speaker 12 (30:07):
Gen. Carlos Stanton hit his four hundredth home run this week.
What a monumental statistic in a major league player's career.
Four fastest in the history of Major League Baseball to
get the four hundred. And let me tell you he's
gonna get to five hundred. And not only is he
(30:27):
gonna get to that magical number, he will get my
Baseball Hall of Fame vote. Five hundred is a magic number.
If you get five hundred home runs, I vote for you.
If you get three hundred wins as.
Speaker 4 (30:39):
A pitcher, I vote for you automatically.
Speaker 12 (30:41):
If you get three thousand hits in a career, I
automatically vote for you. And for people to say, well,
Gen Carlos stan has been hurt too much, and this
and that. You got to break down the numbers. If
he wasn't injured the last few years, he might be
at five hundred already. And I'll tell you this. On
the top ten list of the most home runs per
(31:03):
at bat, he's the third with home runs per at
bad for right handed hitters. The number one and two
are Mark McGuire's number one, Aaron Judges number two. And
how about this, so I know people look at the injuries,
here's another thing. He shows up in the postseason.
Speaker 8 (31:22):
Twenty seven postseason.
Speaker 12 (31:24):
Games, he has twenty five hits, eleven home runs, and
twenty four RBI. That's in twenty seven postseason games.
Speaker 8 (31:35):
Listen to what I just said.
Speaker 12 (31:37):
Twenty four RBIs in twenty seven postseason games.
Speaker 5 (31:42):
G and Carlos Dan.
Speaker 12 (31:43):
If he gets to the magic five hundred, which I
believe he will, He's a Hall of Fame. I'm Rob
and that's my Ran.
Speaker 2 (32:00):
