It is now January the twenty three here and welcome
into the grid on journ area is the Morning Line

as we look to get you up with just about
everything that happened overnight in the world of sports. And
it was a tornado of sorts that that hit New
Orleans last night. We'll get to the opening game of
Zion Williamson. It's right, Zion finally makes it, uh, only
makes it on a court here on an NBA court

this year, and how did he do? Taken on the
San Antonio Spurs. It was certainly one of the most
anticipated arrivals in the NBA. But would you be shocked
if I told you they sold more tickets in New
Orleans when Anthony Davis came back with the Lakers this year. Interesting. Yeah,

there were a lot of empty seats in that building
there last night. So will there be any more empty seats?
While it all depends on how Zion did. We'll let
you hear that in a second. We do have some
NFL news, of course, outside of the Super Bowl, and
we have an All Star Game. Don't forget this Sunday,
the Pro Bowl. We'll take center stage for the NFL.

Opportunities arise there for us to be able to profit
a little bit. There a couple of bets that often
work very well in the Pearl Bowl. We'll talk about
those UH ten days from the Super Bowl. That's where
we are right now. No major line movement in the
UH in that area just yet. Pretty much everything has
stayed status quo except reports of the money continuing to

flow in on the total and the over more than
anything else. So that over number continues to just continues
to get hammered, continues to see money coming in. How
high will it go? We'll have to wait and see.
I anticipate it's gonna continue to right up for the
next ten days. That number is going to continue to
(02:33):
rise and rise and rise, and we could be somewhere
around fifty six fifty six and a half before the weekend,
so it's certainly worth keeping an eye on. At some
point there is going to be some buy back. When
will that happen? If you are an under better I
would hold off there is that number is gonna get
up there and then give you some value, So hold
(02:55):
off on that. We do also now that a retirement
is going to happen, and it's right, there is a
there is somebody from the NFL that is going you
know what, it's It's been great, thanks very much. It
is time to move on to the next part in
the next phase of my life. So we wish him

we'll start, of course with Zion. How did it go
last night? Well, uh, why don't we start in the
fourth quarter and give you a little bit of a
taste of exactly what Zion Williamson sounded like in the
fourth quarter. There's a lot to say, finishes over the rosa.

What say, But look at you're Sion fort They wanted
Scion to get it. Here he is and Peronel book
gets sing gets ten pounds in just over a minute.
Persion Williamson why forest test threats of the night. It's
a curious again and Alvin sent over at the fense

cluster gets attack sudden for four for four. Yeah. It
took Zion exactly three quarters to uh to pretty much
figure out how to dominate in the NBA. And dominate
he did last night. Uh. That fourth quarter came guys
seventeen straight points, seventeen straight points. Uh. And he scored

or assistant on twenty three straight for the Pelicans in
that quarter. And he hit more threes in a quarter
than Ben Simmons has his entire career. Has that working
out for you? All right? Just to give you an idea,
we are looking at one to three four straight three
point shots. Now you are talking about a guy that
didn't necessarily a duke. He didn't unleash from behind the arc.

That was not his game. Most of what he it
all the damage was inside the paint, was by the rim.
The biggest shots that he took, hell, it weren't even
mid range jumpers. It was. It was less than mid
rage shoppers. So the fact that he came out and
just grooving threes from the from all over to the
top of the key, that was Shall we say a

bit crazy there last night, as he showed a little
bit of everything. Give you a little bit under the
net there in the paint. You know, a couple of
easy layosts, played good defense. But that fourth quarter came
and when he's either assisting or scoring on twenty three
straight points, that ladies and gentlemen, is the number one
draft pick. That is exactly why so much hubbub was

made about him. Now, it's only one game. Oh yeah,
and they lost. Keep that in mind. But the other
thing that happened is they right when the game was
getting when they had come back because they were losing
it halftime, and that furious comeback in the fourth quarter,
led by Zion of Corps, gave them an opportunity to
be able to overtake the San Antonio Spurs, who give

them credit. LaMarcus Aldridge comes out and dominates in that game. Uh,
San Antonio starting to put it together, starting heat up
here a little bit, and they all of a sudden,
he's stroking it right stroke, I mean four, he's got it.
Didn't make a difference where he was. The minute he
touched the ball, there was a good chance they were scoring.

And then all of a sudden. They took him off
the court, and they they ushered him out, and poor
Alvin Gentry, the look on his face when the call
came down from the medical staff saying get his ass
off the court. Now. In fact, they say that the
medical staff wanted him after he made the first three

point shot. The medical staff wanted him off the court.
Gotta go out, let's go, And Gentry kept looking at
him and tried to push it off as long as
he could. Finally, Uh, he gave up and he had
to call him out. He had to take him out
of the game. And the look of frustration, uh, not
only on on Zion, but of course on On Gentry
two was amazing. And once he left the court, the

Santy go into the US. San Antonio rather ended up
holding off and Uh and winning the game, but seventeen
Strain points in a span of three minutes and twenty
nine seconds in the fourth quarter tied for the most
points in the quarter in a player's first prey of
game over the last twenty season. Get ready for Zion,
it's coming. We'll have bore on that. What are his

Can't believe it, twenty third of January. You're already I'm
Joe n aryan Uh. It was of the good night
not only in the NBA, but also college hoops last
night on the hardwood, over fifty five games in total
last night. We're on there, a lot of top top

twenty five action. We've got another loaded night tonight. In fact,
three games in the NBA, fifty six college more basketball
games that will be happening. And do not forget we
are three days away from the Pro Bowl, yes, the
Pro Bowl, not to mention ten days away from the
Big Game. And again, looking at these totals right now,
(09:22):
I'm still seeing the Chiefs with roughly about two thirds
of the bets still remaining as a minus one in
a lot of places, still a couple of minus one
and a half across the market, as they remain the
favorite for the Super Bowl. Though I do, and I
have maintained and I will continue to maintain for the
next ten days, we are yet to see that San
(09:43):
Francisco money come in. It will come in on both
sides of the coast around this country, and there will
be this will be much closer to a pick them
before it uh or even the other way, much like
we watched and witnessed last year with the Ram and
the Patriots, as the Rams remained the favorite for most
(10:04):
of the the two week time period there, right up
until the end where all of a sudden it flipped
as that Patriot money came rolling in. I do believe
the same thing is going to happen here for the
forty niners. But right now, on average, minus one is
what we're seeing across the board, and that total opened
up in fifty one and a half and I'm seeing
(10:24):
fifty four and a half a lot of places, and
I'm continuing to see the money roll in on the over.
So that means a lot of folks still getting ready,
still rolling in here on the money is not slowing
down on the over as as more and more some
of the big bets continue also to roll in here.

And I know there was a number a big money
bets that we're coming in. In fact, there are some
places right now let me see here, Um, the the
over continues just to keep in some places. Uh, it's
accounting for nearly of the money on the totals are
(11:06):
coming in on the over, which continues to push this
up and it will continue to go up. And the
estimations are one two, probably fifty six to fifty six
and a half before too long. And a lot of
bets came rolling in yesterday, in fact, couple of big
money bets from our friends over at Draft Kings who

apparently took a fifty thousand dollar bet last night on
the forty niners money line at plus one o eight.
So for those that want to do the math, I'll
let you know that a fifty thou dollar bet on
the money line at plus one oh eight would give
you a profit of fifty four thousand dollars if San
(11:52):
Francisco we're to win out right. And it's funny because
the money line market on this game so far is
a heck of a lot more evenly split than I
would have thought, especially with the early money coming in
pushing from a pick them to minus one and a
half for Kansas City. You'd have thought that maybe maybe
(12:14):
we would have seen a little bit more action on
the Kansas City money line as as that line continue
to push in their favor. I mean, let's face, why
would you You might as well play the money line
if you're gonna play anything, especially when it gets to
a pick them here, you might as well eliminate the
spread altogether. Just go ahead back them on the money line.
(12:35):
But the money line vets pretty evenly split here fifty
for instance, here at the Draft Kings are friends of DraftKings,
fift of the money looks like it's on the money
line on the forty niners while on the Chief. So
that's a pretty even split from a money line perspective
on this game. The craziness is as far as the
(12:58):
total goes with, it's just so lopsided. Not a lot
of folks buying into the under, although that will change
at some point once this continues to rise. I can
assure you that the the pros are just sitting there
waiting to see how high will it go. And then
of course once it gets back it there will be
a little bit of buy back here at some point.

So it's it'll be interesting to watch how this unfolds
over the next couple of days. Headed into the weekend again,
pro ball just a couple of days away, as a
lot of very frustrated Tennessee Titans are are they're getting
ready to play a game that they really didn't want
to play in because unfortunately they weren't able to beat
the Kansas City Chiefs. So it it hurts, they say,
(13:44):
And I know they talked to Tannehill and they talked
to uh Derrick Henry, and there's still a little, uh,
there's still a little beaten up about the fable. You
weren't beaten Kansas City anyway, So the reality is the
reality set in. It set in rather quickly apologized, but
it just wasn't gonna happened. But there were some other news,
of course in the NBA yesterday, and the big news

came in late in the afternoon letting us all know
that in fact, well we kind of all knew it
was gonna happen. It was just a matter of getting
the announcement that had happened. But yes, ladies and gentlemen,
the the legend that Mr Eli Manning has gone ahead
and called it a career UH and is hanging up
(14:29):
the cleats. UH. This should really not be a shock.
I know there was some thoughts that he wanted to
come back and he wanted to play, and UH, he
made it seem like he wanted to be a starter.
So maybe New York wasn't going to be the place
for him. But some people thought he'd come back in
an advisory role and kind of be a mentor to
Daniel Jones. But the truth is, and I don't blame
him in this aspect one way or together. What the
(14:51):
hell else do you have to prove if you are
Eli Manning makes absolutely no sense. And yes, after sixteen
seasons and two Super Bowl m vps, two Super Bowl rings,
he is hanging it up thirty nine years old, Eli,
that's right. Eli will go down in history as the
only quarterback UH to be able to UH take down
(15:14):
Tom Brady and Bill Belichick twice in the Super Bowl,
sticking it to them, especially in one of what could
have been the greatest single season in NFL history. And
I know Dolphins, Uh, there's a lot of members of
the seventy two Dolphins that love Eli Manning, cherish Eli Manning,
and continue to do it because nineteen and oh was
(15:36):
a distinct possibility that year. If it wasn't four Eli
and company taken down Tom Brady and Bill Belichick, they
would have went down with the single greatest NFL season
we've ever seen undefeated would have been nineteen and oh.
But unfortunately we weren't able to get it done against Eli,
so he finished his career. I mean, it doesn't get
(15:58):
any more mediocre. And this congratulations the definition of mediocrity.
If you look it up and you google it right now,
a picture of Elia will show up. That's how mediocre
he was. One seventeen and one seventeen he finished seventh
all time in NFL history in three categories. Uh, you've
got passing yards, t D passes, and completions. All three
(16:21):
of those categories. He is right there at number seven
in a little over fifty seven thousand yards, three sixty
six t D s, close to completions. Great career. The debate,
of course, will begin. Is he a Hall of Famer?
They're not a Hall of Famer? Dud he be in
a Hall of Fame? Will you be a first ballot
Hall of Famer? What do you do with Eli Manning?

And uh yeah, that question will continue to go on.
But I will say this for all of the accolades
that somebody like Aaron Rodgers continues again and continues not
to playing the big game. Manning is just one of
five players in NFL history with at least two Super

Bowl m v P s. Think about that, Joe Montana,
bart Star, Tom Brady, and Terry Bradshaw. You can add
Eli Manning in that list. That's right, Eli, and we
are talking about quarterback royalty there with Montana Star, Brady, Bradshaw,
and Manning, Eli, not Peyton, Eli as the only players

in NFL history with at least two Super Bowl m
v P appearances. Eli of nothing else. Forget about his
mediocre record in the big Game, in the biggest moments,
on the biggest stage, Demand delivered not once, twice, and
he did it against arguably the greatest franchise the NFL

has ever seen. During one of the best dynasties that
we have ever seen. So congratulations, been a hell of
a year. John Mara the press, as Uh said, you'd

worthy headlines from over the last twenty four hours. And
of course it wouldn't be well, it just wouldn't be

the the news here yesterday, breaking news in South Florida
where Antonio Brown currently lives in Hollywood, Florida. And we
had heard that, uh, there was a scuffle of sorts
at his home in a gated community, very wealthy and
gated community in Hollywood, Florida, a couple of days ago.

As a police once again we're descending upon his place.
There was there was an incident involved this trainer a
moving truck. Uh. Police had arrested the trainer. There was
an assault, and then Antonio Brown somehow disappeared and police
had been looking for him because they wanted to question
(21:47):
him about some of the events that happened right in
front of his house in this neighborhood regarding this moving truck,
and that quickly went from we want to question Antonio
Brown too, We are coming to arrest Antonio Brown, as
an arrest warrant for burglary with battery was issued uh
(22:10):
in Hollywood, Florida. Here the warrant includes no bond, so
according to court documents, they are saying that somewhere along
the line here, Antonio Brown hired a moving company to
take his belongings from California to Florida, and he had
(22:32):
agreed to pay four thousand dollars in moving fees for
this company to pick up his stuff and deliver it
to his house here in Florida. And of course, the
guy shows up at his house. The moving company shows
up at the house and Antonio Brown refuses to pay.
And that's where it gets real fund So he refuses
(22:56):
to pay, so the guy says, all right, you don't
want to pay. He gets back in the truck and says,
I'm out of here. You know, we'll just I'll take
off with your belongings. They don't. You're not getting the
belongings unless we get paid. So apparently, when the guy
was trying to leave, Antonio Brown picks up a rock
and whips it at the truck there, of course, causing
(23:18):
some damage to the truck. So the driver calls one
calls the police to report the damage. What we came
to find out a little bit later was that the
movie company ended up getting in touch with Antonio Brown
during this and he had agreed to yes, I'll pay
the four thousand dollars, just have him. Just have him
(23:38):
unload the truck and bring the stuff here. So he
gets there right the truck arrives, He pays the four
thousand dollars, but he won't pay one dime extra to
pay for the damage that he caused from the rock,
which he had agreed to do in the earlier phone
call with the company. Another argument ensues. Now all of
(24:00):
a sudden, guys like, you know what, I'm done with this.
I'm getting out of here. And that's when his trainer,
this guy Glenn Holt, comes in and pretty much assaults
the guy. They were trying to get the keys out
of the truck ignition. Uh so they end up running
rough shot over the guy. Caused cuts and scratches as
as they tried to prevent him from starting the truck
(24:23):
and pulling away. Now Halt, the trainer was arrested felony,
burglary and battery charge. He posted a twenty dollar bond
last night. So he is he is out. He is
a out of jail now along the line somewhere in
between that the arrest warrant was issued and what they
(24:43):
are saying is police have been at his house trying
to talk to him, trying to issue the warrant for
his arrest, and apparently he remains hold up in the
house and he's ignoring the phone calls from the police
and everybody else, and he's locked himself in his house
(25:07):
at this point in uh in Hollywood, Florida, just up
the road here. So as you can tell, things are
going really well for Antonio Brown. Uh. He is now
playing a game of chicken with the police who having
a rest waarrant for him, and he won't answer the
door apparently. So yeah, something tells me that in the
(25:31):
next I don't know, uh, twelve hours or so, there
will be another headline coming out. There will be choppers
somewhere flying up over ahead here of this where I'm
at here in Miami. There will be announcements, there will
be breaking news. They will they will tear gas that
house if they have to to rip his ass out
of there. Because the one thing I can tell about
(25:52):
the Hollywood Police Department is they have very little tolerance
for Antonio Brown anymore, zero tolerance In fact, uh so
does his neighbors who this is not exactly your run
of the mill community. This is a very wealthy, high
end gated community that yes, these people have paid a
(26:13):
lot of money for their homes not to have episodes
of cops show up in front of him every every day.
And ultimately they're probably gonna get the biggest show now
because if he does not turn himself in, if he
does not make himself available to get this warrant served,
I'm gonna assure you, um, they have a lot of
new gadgets in uh for that police department in Hollywood,
(26:35):
And yeah, they will. They'll bring in tanks, they will bold,
they will do they will make a spectacle of Antonio
Brown if he does not make himself available. So, uh,
hold hold onto your hat. It's just getting started here
with a B as he continues to make it seem
on social media in any place else that he's being persecuted.
(26:55):
But the truth is he agreed to pay four thousand
dollars to a moving company they delivered he didn't pay.
He then whips a rock at the truck, says I'm oh,
I'm sorry, I'll pay for the damage. I'll pay for
the four thousand, give me my stuff. They come back,
He pays the fourth thousand, not a dime more, and
then they beat the crap out of the driver, who
(27:18):
is like, I'm leaving again with your stuff. So it's just, uh,
it's nothing good is coming from this situation, and it's
only gonna get worse. And something tells me he is
not exactly going to make himself readily available. So congratulations.
Will keep an eye on that as as the world
(27:38):
turns with our boy a b here and boy get ready,
CNN will be the child you thought, the the o
J and the white Bronco wait, wait to see what
happens if he doesn't, if he doesn't answer that door,
answer his phone, and coordinate and get that warrant served.
So uh, Drew Rosenhaus was pretty correct when he had said, uh, yeah,

we've guy needs some help, and he needs some help
because he's about as unstable as they come, all right.
Taking a look here though, at at people who are
actually a little more stable and a little more getting
ready for some football. There is football this weekend and
it is the Pro Bowl, and because of the lack
(28:22):
of tackling, shall we say, the the Vanilla defenses the
very exhibition nature of the game with zero to play for,
although there is some you know, there is some change
there that that the winning team gets to play um.
The a f C is listed as a one and
a half point favorite. The total is forty nine and
(28:43):
a half in this game. Now, historically in the Pro Bowl,
there have been some edges to be had, certainly with
the dog. Uh. Dogs have gone twelve and four against
the number. That's since two thousand three. This includes both
balth the old school a f C NFC matchups, the
conventional matchups between the two divisions, as well as that
(29:06):
ridiculous three year stretch between two thousand fourteen and two
thousand sixteen where they had two different teams Team Rice
team Irving and they picked guys from both late. Yeah well, uh,
that includes all of that. So bottom line is the
underdog has been the most profitable side to be on
their twelve and four against the number since two thousand three.

And by the way, the dogs haven't just uh you know, wow,
they barely they barely got by No they have covered
the number by an average of almost five points, so
that means that if they are plus seven, they are
only losing by two points maybe two two and to
three points at most. So there is some value on
(29:50):
the dogs at least that's what history tells us here
in the Pro Bowl, and I listen, it's it's not
that there isn't any defense, uh that, or or tons
of when it comes to when it comes to the
Pro Bowl, the unders and the totals, that's where it
gets interesting. The under has gone nine seven over the

last over that periods in the two thousand three, but
Pro Bowl totals in the sixties, seventies and eighties. As
far as numbers, yeah, it's uh, it's gone up here, guys.
Total is uh. We've seen on an average total of
fifty four most recently. So I would say that over

the past three years under his hit the A f
C to seven, the total was fifty four point three.
So if you can see they're playing a little bit
more defense, it's a little bit a little bit less
of the a just run by me in spore touchdown.

road dog in that matchup Tulsa. Yes, a game that
we pointed out here for you yesterday, Tulsa at home
taking on number twenty Memphis. UH. They were a three
point home dog. They were plus one forty five on
the money line, and not only did they cover, they
won outright by a score of eighty to forty. Yeah.

Back to our point about the overvaluing of those UH
teams in the top twenty five against teams that are
unranked on the road, Yes, and proved to be very
profitable last night, as did Seaton Hall number ten, the
hottest team in the country. We've been telling you guys
that now for the last couple of weeks. To Seaton

Hall on fire, they laid nine. That was a push. However,

an absolute beast. Louisville had to come from behind another
game that we we called for you here. Louisville rallied
to beat a Georgia Tech yesterday and last night, or
rather six to sixty four. They were trailing by six
at halftime, and yes, trailing by six at halftime. It

was the ultimate letdown. Spot four Louisville who were laying
third teen and a half. Fourteen points in that game
didn't make any sense. Uh, they had just beaten Duke
in Cameron, or it didn't look like it was now
they came home and all of a sudden they were
gonna run over a Georgia Tech team. It it didn't
make any sense. But they did not cover as that

thirteen point thirteen point favorite. But of course they did win.
And everybody's favorite mid major number seven Dayton laying seven. Uh. Yep,
Dayton ends up winning, and so did number sixteen Auburn.
Uh and they beat the Bonnies I believe, Yeah, the St.
Bonaventure There, Dayton takes down Saint Bonaventure covers no problem

and number sixteen Auburn, who had lost a couple of
games in a row. Bruce Pearl and his kids, they're
regrouped at home taking on South Carolina laying eleven and
a half, and they were taking no prisoners last night
they put it, put one in the w column, got
back in the win column there and they did it
rather easy. Leave they win and they cover. So good night.

In the top twenty five for college More matchups here
today in college hoops, part of the fifty six games
on the card. The NBA last night favorites underdogs. They
split it up six game six and six against the
number you had upsets by the Pistons Detroit at home
taking down Sacramento. They were getting a point and a half,

they were a plus one oh five money line money
line home dog, and boy, they blew the pants off
of all of the Sacramento Kings. The Oklahoma City Thunder
continued to be devalued for some reason. On the road
against Orlando. They were getting two and a half, they
were plus one twenty on the money line, and they
they took it to the Magic no problem. They won.

The Atlanta Hawks uh in a game here that was
part of our picks from the Edge. We had mentioned
and talked about the the under in this game. Clippers
on the second leg of a back to back in Atlanta,
and they sat everybody. The Clippers did. But it doesn't
really make a darn bit of difference. They had plenty

enough firepower to still beat the Atlanta Hawks. They were
getting four and a half, they were plus one seventy five.
They lost, but they covered the Atlanta Hawks, so good
for them. Uh, that was a winning proposition. The Spurs
also one though plus three and a half plus one
forty on the money line, taken down Zion and the

and the Pelicans the Miami Heat laying ten. They won
in overtime. What a shock against the Washington Wizards, but
they did not cover. They win the game, did not cover.
The Wizards ended up covering that uh way too many points.
But the Lakers as well were another one of these
double digit favorites. They won at the Garden, but they

could not get past or blow passed rather by double
digits the New York Knickerbockers one two, I believe it
was the final there. Uh Lakers win, but they failed
to cover and the totals split down the middle six
apiece there. So tonight in the NBA, you definitely have
got yourself three games to look at. One of them

will include those uh, those Los Angeles Lakers. They now
traveled to Brooklyn on a back to back here the Brooklyn,
the Brooklyn Nets, they'll be in action. Dallas will be
taking on Portland's and the Washington Wizards, who went to
overtime last night against the Miami Heat and unfortunately weren't

able to put it together. They now traveled to Cleveland
to take on the Cleveland Cavaliers. Now this is another
this is a good shall we say, this is a
good moment to bring up a wagering you for you
regarding the NBA in betting on the NBA, And this

comes up a lot, and especially if you guys are
now going to start taking a look at some basket
ball here, both college and the NBA available to you.
But if you're gonna start looking into the NBA, understand
that eight percent of handicapping the NBA is understanding scheduling
(38:15):
and understanding the situational spots that NBA teams are in,
meaning back to back type situations, road road weary teams.
Uh most recent shall we say most recent form? What
are teams currently doing the past five games? What is
(38:37):
their schedule moving ahead? The Lakers, for instance, are an
interesting story right now because the Lakers, it started in
Houston five days ago with a big win on the
road in Houston. Then they traveled to Boston, got smoked right.
Then they came here now to New York, and they
got They got back on track last night, although close.
(39:00):
Now they're playing again tonight, So now we're looking at
four games in five days for a team from the
West Coast who, in all likelihood, there's gonna be some
sort of load management coming on here tonight against the
Brooklyn Nets, who have not played a game since Monday.
So betting, and I don't care if it's NBA, if
(39:23):
it's college, if it's baseball, I don't care what it is.
Betting is all about finding an edge and having an edge,
or at least believing that you do, and exploiting that edge.
If you don't know what the edge is, or if
you don't feel you have one, then don't bet the game,
all right, that's rule number one, especially in the NBA

and basketball, because again tonight college hoops alone, you've got
fifty six opportunities to lose your s, and that doesn't
make any sense. You're not gonna be able to handicap
all fifty six games, but you shouldn't be betting any
games if you're not able to identify what the edges.
And in the NBA, you've got three games here tonight.

Two of the teams playing tonight in those three games
have just played a ridiculous schedule coming off Washington, just
went to overtime in Miami last night. Now they're traveling
to Cleveland to take on the Calves. That's edge number one,
right edge number two. The Lakers on a rough stretch here,

and oh don't forget the Lakers. Now the next game
after tonight's game against Brooklyn is in Philadelphia, So the
gauntlet continues. So understanding travel schedules, Understanding where guys are
on the road. What are they in the middle of
a road trip? Are they in the beginning, are they
on the tail end? Who do are they playing ahead?

Understanding schedule in the n B A is of being
successful or at least somewhat profitable embedding it. So, understanding lineups,
understand ending rotations, Understanding who's playing who's not. I think
there is a good chance tonight keep an eye because
of this stretch and how many games they have played.

Definitely keep an eye on the injury report and if
somebody happens to pop up like an A D or
a lebron because they might have pulled something here. They
need a night off. Tonight might be the night it happens,
given the fact that the next game, pretty important game
there against the Philadelphia Six is important from the standpoint

of Uh, it's going to be one of the most
heavily watched games and Bead might be back, so there's
there's gonna be some intrigue in that game. Uh, not
a whole lot of intrigue about playing the Brooklyn Nets
after the New York Knicks. Edges is what you are
looking for. So if you are going to start dabbling
into the NBA, the first bit of advice and the

first thing you need to do is identify an edge
where it can be had and then do your homework
on the scheduling guys, because scheduling is what it is
all about, especially in the NBA and an eighty two
game season with teams who m uh you know, implement
load management and who realized that really I don't need

to go and defeat it. I just need to make
it into the playoffs. Who has something to play for?
Who doesn't? New Orleans last night, Congratulations, Zion Williams is back,
But did you really think the San Antonio Spurs we're
just going to roll over because Zion was in there.

Yeah no, but the public did, and the public overvalued
New Orleans, which is again why the value was all
on San Antonio last night, and San Antonio delivers. But
these are the types of things that will create edges
in the NBA situational travel scheduling. Keep an eye on that.
Understand that, guys, and you will absolutely begin to start

profiting in the n b A as we as we
head to the second half of the season. So that's
a good little, uh, little wagering you for you. I
know a lot of you guys have been texting in
and a lot of you guys have been reaching out
going all right, not a football is over. What do
I do? Where do I go? How do I how

And it's simple, just start with the scheduling. Just like tonight,
three games. You don't have to last night you had
twelve games. There's no real you don't have to. You
don't have to handicap twelve games. Guys, nobody's got that
kind of time here. If you're looking to do it
recreationally or have some fun doing it. Start with understanding

where teams are in the schedule and what have they
done most recently, And I think it'll give you a
good launch off point there to figure out some of
the games you should be honing in on. And those
are two games tonight I will absolutely be looking at
because of and it's not the end all be all
just because they're on a back to back with Some
teams operate a lot better on zero days rest, other

teams do not. And I'll be looking at that Lakers
Brooklyn matchup as well as the Cleveland I can't even
believe I'm saying this, but the Cleveland Cavaliers, Yes, and
the Washington Wizards do not. Think because a team is
total hot garbage like Cleveland and Washington for that matter, Uh,
that doesn't mean there isn't profitability available for you. The

worst the team, the more underrated the team, the perception
of that team that equals profits. Guys. Profiting Uh in
all of sports doesn't go from backing minus six D
favorites and uh, you know, chalk, You want to profit,
You want to make some decent money. Understand that, Yes,

bad teams playing good teams. Yeah, there's there's an opportunity
to cash there on the underdog, So uh, there is
much of that going to be happening here over the
next couple of weeks, but limited card tonight in the

Zion Williamson. It's right, Zion finally makes it, uh, only
makes it on a court here on an NBA court

this year, and how did he do? Taken on the
San Antonio Spurs. It was certainly one of the most
anticipated arrivals in the NBA. But would you be shocked
if I told you they sold more tickets in New
Orleans when Anthony Davis came back with the Lakers this year. Interesting. Yeah,

there were a lot of empty seats in that building
there last night. So will there be any more empty seats?
While it all depends on how Zion did. We'll let
you hear that in a second. We do have some
NFL news, of course, outside of the Super Bowl, and
we have an All Star Game. Don't forget this Sunday,
the Pro Bowl. We'll take center stage for the NFL.

Opportunities arise there for us to be able to profit
a little bit. There a couple of bets that often
work very well in the Pearl Bowl. We'll talk about
those UH ten days from the Super Bowl. That's where
we are right now. No major line movement in the
UH in that area just yet. Pretty much everything has
stayed status quo except reports of the money continuing to

flow in on the total and the over more than
anything else. So that over number continues to just continues
to get hammered, continues to see money coming in. How
high will it go? We'll have to wait and see.
I anticipate it's gonna continue to right up for the
next ten days. That number is going to continue to

rise and rise and rise, and we could be somewhere
around fifty six fifty six and a half before the weekend,
so it's certainly worth keeping an eye on. At some
point there is going to be some buy back. When
will that happen? If you are an under better I
would hold off there is that number is gonna get
up there and then give you some value, So hold

off on that. We do also now that a retirement
is going to happen, and it's right, there is a
there is somebody from the NFL that is going you
know what, it's It's been great, thanks very much. It
is time to move on to the next part in

last night? Well, uh, why don't we start in the
fourth quarter and give you a little bit of a
taste of exactly what Zion Williamson sounded like in the

that quarter. And he hit more threes in a quarter
than Ben Simmons has his entire career. Has that working
out for you? All right? Just to give you an idea,
we are looking at one to three four straight three
point shots. Now you are talking about a guy that
didn't necessarily a duke. He didn't unleash from behind the arc.

That was not his game. Most of what he it
all the damage was inside the paint, was by the rim.
The biggest shots that he took, hell, it weren't even
mid range jumpers. It was. It was less than mid
rage shoppers. So the fact that he came out and
just grooving threes from the from all over to the
top of the key, that was Shall we say a

bit crazy there last night, as he showed a little
bit of everything. Give you a little bit under the
net there in the paint. You know, a couple of
easy layosts, played good defense. But that fourth quarter came
and when he's either assisting or scoring on twenty three
straight points, that ladies and gentlemen, is the number one
draft pick. That is exactly why so much hubbub was

made about him. Now, it's only one game. Oh yeah,
and they lost. Keep that in mind. But the other
thing that happened is they right when the game was
getting when they had come back because they were losing
it halftime, and that furious comeback in the fourth quarter,
led by Zion of Corps, gave them an opportunity to
be able to overtake the San Antonio Spurs, who give

them credit. LaMarcus Aldridge comes out and dominates in that game. Uh,
San Antonio starting to put it together, starting heat up
here a little bit, and they all of a sudden,
he's stroking it right stroke, I mean four, he's got it.
Didn't make a difference where he was. The minute he
touched the ball, there was a good chance they were scoring.

And then all of a sudden. They took him off
the court, and they they ushered him out, and poor
Alvin Gentry, the look on his face when the call
came down from the medical staff saying get his ass
off the court. Now. In fact, they say that the
medical staff wanted him after he made the first three
(06:46):
point shot. The medical staff wanted him off the court.
Gotta go out, let's go, And Gentry kept looking at
him and tried to push it off as long as
he could. Finally, Uh, he gave up and he had
to call him out. He had to take him out
of the game. And the look of frustration, uh, not
only on on Zion, but of course on On Gentry
two was amazing. And once he left the court, the

Santy go into the US. San Antonio rather ended up
holding off and Uh and winning the game, but seventeen
Strain points in a span of three minutes and twenty
nine seconds in the fourth quarter tied for the most
points in the quarter in a player's first prey of
game over the last twenty season. Get ready for Zion,
it's coming. We'll have bore on that. What are his

not only in the NBA, but also college hoops last
night on the hardwood, over fifty five games in total
last night. We're on there, a lot of top top

twenty five action. We've got another loaded night tonight. In fact,
three games in the NBA, fifty six college more basketball
games that will be happening. And do not forget we
are three days away from the Pro Bowl, yes, the
Pro Bowl, not to mention ten days away from the
Big Game. And again, looking at these totals right now,
(09:22):
I'm still seeing the Chiefs with roughly about two thirds
of the bets still remaining as a minus one in
a lot of places, still a couple of minus one
and a half across the market, as they remain the
favorite for the Super Bowl. Though I do, and I
have maintained and I will continue to maintain for the
next ten days, we are yet to see that San
(09:43):
Francisco money come in. It will come in on both
sides of the coast around this country, and there will
be this will be much closer to a pick them
before it uh or even the other way, much like
we watched and witnessed last year with the Ram and
the Patriots, as the Rams remained the favorite for most
(10:04):
of the the two week time period there, right up
until the end where all of a sudden it flipped
as that Patriot money came rolling in. I do believe
the same thing is going to happen here for the
forty niners. But right now, on average, minus one is
what we're seeing across the board, and that total opened
up in fifty one and a half and I'm seeing
(10:24):
fifty four and a half a lot of places, and
I'm continuing to see the money roll in on the over.
So that means a lot of folks still getting ready,
still rolling in here on the money is not slowing
down on the over as as more and more some
of the big bets continue also to roll in here.

And I know there was a number a big money
bets that we're coming in. In fact, there are some
places right now let me see here, Um, the the
over continues just to keep in some places. Uh, it's
accounting for nearly of the money on the totals are
(11:06):
coming in on the over, which continues to push this
up and it will continue to go up. And the
estimations are one two, probably fifty six to fifty six
and a half before too long. And a lot of
bets came rolling in yesterday, in fact, couple of big
money bets from our friends over at Draft Kings who
(11:30):
apparently took a fifty thousand dollar bet last night on
the forty niners money line at plus one o eight.
So for those that want to do the math, I'll
let you know that a fifty thou dollar bet on
the money line at plus one oh eight would give
you a profit of fifty four thousand dollars if San
(11:52):
Francisco we're to win out right. And it's funny because
the money line market on this game so far is
a heck of a lot more evenly split than I
would have thought, especially with the early money coming in
pushing from a pick them to minus one and a
half for Kansas City. You'd have thought that maybe maybe
(12:14):
we would have seen a little bit more action on
the Kansas City money line as as that line continue
to push in their favor. I mean, let's face, why
would you You might as well play the money line
if you're gonna play anything, especially when it gets to
a pick them here, you might as well eliminate the
spread altogether. Just go ahead back them on the money line.

But the money line vets pretty evenly split here fifty
for instance, here at the Draft Kings are friends of DraftKings,
fift of the money looks like it's on the money
line on the forty niners while on the Chief. So
that's a pretty even split from a money line perspective
on this game. The craziness is as far as the

total goes with, it's just so lopsided. Not a lot
of folks buying into the under, although that will change
at some point once this continues to rise. I can
assure you that the the pros are just sitting there
waiting to see how high will it go. And then
of course once it gets back it there will be
a little bit of buy back here at some point.

So it's it'll be interesting to watch how this unfolds
over the next couple of days. Headed into the weekend again,
pro ball just a couple of days away, as a
lot of very frustrated Tennessee Titans are are they're getting
ready to play a game that they really didn't want
to play in because unfortunately they weren't able to beat
the Kansas City Chiefs. So it it hurts, they say,

And I know they talked to Tannehill and they talked
to uh Derrick Henry, and there's still a little, uh,
there's still a little beaten up about the fable. You
weren't beaten Kansas City anyway, So the reality is the
reality set in. It set in rather quickly apologized, but
it just wasn't gonna happened. But there were some other news,
of course in the NBA yesterday, and the big news

came in late in the afternoon letting us all know
that in fact, well we kind of all knew it
was gonna happen. It was just a matter of getting
the announcement that had happened. But yes, ladies and gentlemen,
the the legend that Mr Eli Manning has gone ahead
and called it a career UH and is hanging up

the cleats. UH. This should really not be a shock.
I know there was some thoughts that he wanted to
come back and he wanted to play, and UH, he
made it seem like he wanted to be a starter.
So maybe New York wasn't going to be the place
for him. But some people thought he'd come back in
an advisory role and kind of be a mentor to
Daniel Jones. But the truth is, and I don't blame
him in this aspect one way or together. What the

hell else do you have to prove if you are
Eli Manning makes absolutely no sense. And yes, after sixteen

worthy headlines from over the last twenty four hours. And
of course it wouldn't be well, it just wouldn't be
fitting if we did not have more Antonio Brown news
to deliver you. And uh, it's it was all over

the the news here yesterday, breaking news in South Florida
where Antonio Brown currently lives in Hollywood, Florida. And we
had heard that, uh, there was a scuffle of sorts
at his home in a gated community, very wealthy and
gated community in Hollywood, Florida, a couple of days ago.

As a police once again we're descending upon his place.
There was there was an incident involved this trainer a
moving truck. Uh. Police had arrested the trainer. There was
an assault, and then Antonio Brown somehow disappeared and police
had been looking for him because they wanted to question
(21:47):
him about some of the events that happened right in
front of his house in this neighborhood regarding this moving truck,
and that quickly went from we want to question Antonio
Brown too, We are coming to arrest Antonio Brown, as
an arrest warrant for burglary with battery was issued uh
(22:10):
in Hollywood, Florida. Here the warrant includes no bond, so
according to court documents, they are saying that somewhere along
the line here, Antonio Brown hired a moving company to
take his belongings from California to Florida, and he had
(22:32):
agreed to pay four thousand dollars in moving fees for
this company to pick up his stuff and deliver it
to his house here in Florida. And of course, the
guy shows up at his house. The moving company shows
up at the house and Antonio Brown refuses to pay.
And that's where it gets real fund So he refuses
(22:56):
to pay, so the guy says, all right, you don't
want to pay. He gets back in the truck and says,
I'm out of here. You know, we'll just I'll take
off with your belongings. They don't. You're not getting the
belongings unless we get paid. So apparently, when the guy
was trying to leave, Antonio Brown picks up a rock
and whips it at the truck there, of course, causing
(23:18):
some damage to the truck. So the driver calls one
calls the police to report the damage. What we came
to find out a little bit later was that the
movie company ended up getting in touch with Antonio Brown
during this and he had agreed to yes, I'll pay
the four thousand dollars, just have him. Just have him
(23:38):
unload the truck and bring the stuff here. So he
gets there right the truck arrives, He pays the four
thousand dollars, but he won't pay one dime extra to
pay for the damage that he caused from the rock,
which he had agreed to do in the earlier phone
call with the company. Another argument ensues. Now all of
(24:00):
a sudden, guys like, you know what, I'm done with this.
I'm getting out of here. And that's when his trainer,
this guy Glenn Holt, comes in and pretty much assaults
the guy. They were trying to get the keys out
of the truck ignition. Uh so they end up running
rough shot over the guy. Caused cuts and scratches as
as they tried to prevent him from starting the truck
(24:23):
and pulling away. Now Halt, the trainer was arrested felony,
burglary and battery charge. He posted a twenty dollar bond
last night. So he is he is out. He is
a out of jail now along the line somewhere in
between that the arrest warrant was issued and what they
(24:43):
are saying is police have been at his house trying
to talk to him, trying to issue the warrant for
his arrest, and apparently he remains hold up in the
house and he's ignoring the phone calls from the police
and everybody else, and he's locked himself in his house
(25:07):
at this point in uh in Hollywood, Florida, just up
the road here. So as you can tell, things are
going really well for Antonio Brown. Uh. He is now
playing a game of chicken with the police who having
a rest waarrant for him, and he won't answer the
door apparently. So yeah, something tells me that in the
(25:31):
next I don't know, uh, twelve hours or so, there
will be another headline coming out. There will be choppers
somewhere flying up over ahead here of this where I'm
at here in Miami. There will be announcements, there will
be breaking news. They will they will tear gas that
house if they have to to rip his ass out
of there. Because the one thing I can tell about
(25:52):
the Hollywood Police Department is they have very little tolerance
for Antonio Brown anymore, zero tolerance In fact, uh so
does his neighbors who this is not exactly your run
of the mill community. This is a very wealthy, high
end gated community that yes, these people have paid a
(26:13):
lot of money for their homes not to have episodes
of cops show up in front of him every every day.
And ultimately they're probably gonna get the biggest show now
because if he does not turn himself in, if he
does not make himself available to get this warrant served,
I'm gonna assure you, um, they have a lot of
new gadgets in uh for that police department in Hollywood,
(26:35):
And yeah, they will. They'll bring in tanks, they will bold,
they will do they will make a spectacle of Antonio
Brown if he does not make himself available. So, uh,
hold hold onto your hat. It's just getting started here
with a B as he continues to make it seem
on social media in any place else that he's being persecuted.
(26:55):
But the truth is he agreed to pay four thousand
dollars to a moving company they delivered he didn't pay.
He then whips a rock at the truck, says I'm oh,
I'm sorry, I'll pay for the damage. I'll pay for
the four thousand, give me my stuff. They come back,
He pays the fourth thousand, not a dime more, and
then they beat the crap out of the driver, who
(27:18):
is like, I'm leaving again with your stuff. So it's just, uh,
it's nothing good is coming from this situation, and it's
only gonna get worse. And something tells me he is
not exactly going to make himself readily available. So congratulations.
Will keep an eye on that as as the world
(27:38):
turns with our boy a b here and boy get ready,
CNN will be the child you thought, the the o
J and the white Bronco wait, wait to see what
happens if he doesn't, if he doesn't answer that door,
answer his phone, and coordinate and get that warrant served.
So uh, Drew Rosenhaus was pretty correct when he had said, uh, yeah,

we've guy needs some help, and he needs some help
because he's about as unstable as they come, all right.
Taking a look here though, at at people who are
actually a little more stable and a little more getting
ready for some football. There is football this weekend and
it is the Pro Bowl, and because of the lack
(28:22):
of tackling, shall we say, the the Vanilla defenses the
very exhibition nature of the game with zero to play for,
although there is some you know, there is some change
there that that the winning team gets to play um.
The a f C is listed as a one and
a half point favorite. The total is forty nine and
(28:43):
a half in this game. Now, historically in the Pro Bowl,
there have been some edges to be had, certainly with
the dog. Uh. Dogs have gone twelve and four against
the number. That's since two thousand three. This includes both
balth the old school a f C NFC matchups, the
conventional matchups between the two divisions, as well as that

ridiculous three year stretch between two thousand fourteen and two
thousand sixteen where they had two different teams Team Rice
team Irving and they picked guys from both late. Yeah well, uh,
that includes all of that. So bottom line is the
underdog has been the most profitable side to be on
their twelve and four against the number since two thousand three.

And by the way, the dogs haven't just uh you know, wow,
they barely they barely got by No they have covered
the number by an average of almost five points, so
that means that if they are plus seven, they are
only losing by two points maybe two two and to
three points at most. So there is some value on

the dogs at least that's what history tells us here
in the Pro Bowl, and I listen, it's it's not
that there isn't any defense, uh that, or or tons
of when it comes to when it comes to the
Pro Bowl, the unders and the totals, that's where it
gets interesting. The under has gone nine seven over the

last over that periods in the two thousand three, but
Pro Bowl totals in the sixties, seventies and eighties. As
far as numbers, yeah, it's uh, it's gone up here, guys.
Total is uh. We've seen on an average total of
fifty four most recently. So I would say that over

C to seven, the total was fifty four point three.
So if you can see they're playing a little bit
more defense, it's a little bit a little bit less

road dog in that matchup Tulsa. Yes, a game that
we pointed out here for you yesterday, Tulsa at home
taking on number twenty Memphis. UH. They were a three
point home dog. They were plus one forty five on
the money line, and not only did they cover, they
won outright by a score of eighty to forty. Yeah.

Back to our point about the overvaluing of those UH
teams in the top twenty five against teams that are
unranked on the road, Yes, and proved to be very
profitable last night, as did Seaton Hall number ten, the
hottest team in the country. We've been telling you guys
that now for the last couple of weeks. To Seaton

Hall on fire, they laid nine. That was a push. However,
sixty four. They beat Providence at home last night and
they continue to roll. UH. Miles pal continues to be
a name that you guys should be very familiar with
moving into as we get closer to March. One of

the top five players in the country. The kid is
an absolute beast. Louisville had to come from behind another
game that we we called for you here. Louisville rallied
to beat a Georgia Tech yesterday and last night, or
rather six to sixty four. They were trailing by six
at halftime, and yes, trailing by six at halftime. It

was the ultimate letdown. Spot four Louisville who were laying
third teen and a half. Fourteen points in that game
didn't make any sense. Uh, they had just beaten Duke
in Cameron, or it didn't look like it was now
they came home and all of a sudden they were
gonna run over a Georgia Tech team. It it didn't
make any sense. But they did not cover as that

thirteen point thirteen point favorite. But of course they did win.
And everybody's favorite mid major number seven Dayton laying seven. Uh. Yep,
Dayton ends up winning, and so did number sixteen Auburn.
Uh and they beat the Bonnies I believe, Yeah, the St.
Bonaventure There, Dayton takes down Saint Bonaventure covers no problem

and number sixteen Auburn, who had lost a couple of
games in a row. Bruce Pearl and his kids, they're
regrouped at home taking on South Carolina laying eleven and
a half, and they were taking no prisoners last night
they put it, put one in the w column, got
back in the win column there and they did it
rather easy. Leave they win and they cover. So good night.

In the top twenty five for college More matchups here
today in college hoops, part of the fifty six games
on the card. The NBA last night favorites underdogs. They
split it up six game six and six against the
number you had upsets by the Pistons Detroit at home
taking down Sacramento. They were getting a point and a half,

they were a plus one oh five money line money
line home dog, and boy, they blew the pants off
of all of the Sacramento Kings. The Oklahoma City Thunder
continued to be devalued for some reason. On the road
against Orlando. They were getting two and a half, they
were plus one twenty on the money line, and they
they took it to the Magic no problem. They won.
(35:48):
The Atlanta Hawks uh in a game here that was
part of our picks from the Edge. We had mentioned
and talked about the the under in this game. Clippers
on the second leg of a back to back in Atlanta,
and they sat everybody. The Clippers did. But it doesn't
really make a darn bit of difference. They had plenty
(36:08):
enough firepower to still beat the Atlanta Hawks. They were
getting four and a half, they were plus one seventy five.
They lost, but they covered the Atlanta Hawks, so good
for them. Uh, that was a winning proposition. The Spurs
also one though plus three and a half plus one
forty on the money line, taken down Zion and the
(36:29):
and the Pelicans the Miami Heat laying ten. They won
in overtime. What a shock against the Washington Wizards, but
they did not cover. They win the game, did not cover.
The Wizards ended up covering that uh way too many points.
But the Lakers as well were another one of these
double digit favorites. They won at the Garden, but they

could not get past or blow passed rather by double
digits the New York Knickerbockers one two, I believe it
was the final there. Uh Lakers win, but they failed
to cover and the totals split down the middle six
apiece there. So tonight in the NBA, you definitely have
got yourself three games to look at. One of them

will include those uh, those Los Angeles Lakers. They now
traveled to Brooklyn on a back to back here the Brooklyn,
the Brooklyn Nets, they'll be in action. Dallas will be
taking on Portland's and the Washington Wizards, who went to
overtime last night against the Miami Heat and unfortunately weren't
(37:33):
able to put it together. They now traveled to Cleveland
to take on the Cleveland Cavaliers. Now this is another
this is a good shall we say, this is a
good moment to bring up a wagering you for you
regarding the NBA in betting on the NBA, And this
(37:54):
comes up a lot, and especially if you guys are
now going to start taking a look at some basket
ball here, both college and the NBA available to you.
But if you're gonna start looking into the NBA, understand
that eight percent of handicapping the NBA is understanding scheduling
(38:15):
and understanding the situational spots that NBA teams are in,
meaning back to back type situations, road road weary teams.
Uh most recent shall we say most recent form? What
are teams currently doing the past five games? What is
(38:37):
their schedule moving ahead? The Lakers, for instance, are an
interesting story right now because the Lakers, it started in
Houston five days ago with a big win on the
road in Houston. Then they traveled to Boston, got smoked right.
Then they came here now to New York, and they
got They got back on track last night, although close.
(39:00):
Now they're playing again tonight, So now we're looking at
four games in five days for a team from the
West Coast who, in all likelihood, there's gonna be some
sort of load management coming on here tonight against the
Brooklyn Nets, who have not played a game since Monday.
So betting, and I don't care if it's NBA, if
(39:23):
it's college, if it's baseball, I don't care what it is.
Betting is all about finding an edge and having an edge,
or at least believing that you do, and exploiting that edge.
If you don't know what the edge is, or if
you don't feel you have one, then don't bet the game,
all right, that's rule number one, especially in the NBA
(39:44):
and basketball, because again tonight college hoops alone, you've got
fifty six opportunities to lose your s, and that doesn't
make any sense. You're not gonna be able to handicap
all fifty six games, but you shouldn't be betting any
games if you're not able to identify what the edges.
And in the NBA, you've got three games here tonight.
(40:04):
Two of the teams playing tonight in those three games
have just played a ridiculous schedule coming off Washington, just
went to overtime in Miami last night. Now they're traveling
to Cleveland to take on the Calves. That's edge number one,
right edge number two. The Lakers on a rough stretch here,
(40:26):
and oh don't forget the Lakers. Now the next game
after tonight's game against Brooklyn is in Philadelphia, So the
gauntlet continues. So understanding travel schedules, Understanding where guys are
on the road. What are they in the middle of
a road trip? Are they in the beginning, are they
on the tail end? Who do are they playing ahead?
(40:48):
Understanding schedule in the n B A is of being
successful or at least somewhat profitable embedding it. So, understanding lineups,
understand ending rotations, Understanding who's playing who's not. I think
there is a good chance tonight keep an eye because
of this stretch and how many games they have played.
(41:09):
Definitely keep an eye on the injury report and if
somebody happens to pop up like an A D or
a lebron because they might have pulled something here. They
need a night off. Tonight might be the night it happens,
given the fact that the next game, pretty important game
there against the Philadelphia Six is important from the standpoint
(41:30):
of Uh, it's going to be one of the most
heavily watched games and Bead might be back, so there's
there's gonna be some intrigue in that game. Uh, not
a whole lot of intrigue about playing the Brooklyn Nets
after the New York Knicks. Edges is what you are
looking for. So if you are going to start dabbling
into the NBA, the first bit of advice and the
(41:52):
first thing you need to do is identify an edge
where it can be had and then do your homework
on the scheduling guys, because scheduling is what it is
all about, especially in the NBA and an eighty two
game season with teams who m uh you know, implement
load management and who realized that really I don't need
(42:13):
to go and defeat it. I just need to make
it into the playoffs. Who has something to play for?
Who doesn't? New Orleans last night, Congratulations, Zion Williams is back,
But did you really think the San Antonio Spurs we're
just going to roll over because Zion was in there.
(42:33):
Yeah no, but the public did, and the public overvalued
New Orleans, which is again why the value was all
on San Antonio last night, and San Antonio delivers. But
these are the types of things that will create edges
in the NBA situational travel scheduling. Keep an eye on that.
Understand that, guys, and you will absolutely begin to start
(42:55):
profiting in the n b A as we as we
head to the second half of the season. So that's
a good little, uh, little wagering you for you. I
know a lot of you guys have been texting in
and a lot of you guys have been reaching out
going all right, not a football is over. What do
I do? Where do I go? How do I how
do I get involved in the n b A uh
(43:16):
And it's simple, just start with the scheduling. Just like tonight,
three games. You don't have to last night you had
twelve games. There's no real you don't have to. You
don't have to handicap twelve games. Guys, nobody's got that
kind of time here. If you're looking to do it
recreationally or have some fun doing it. Start with understanding
(43:37):
where teams are in the schedule and what have they
done most recently, And I think it'll give you a
good launch off point there to figure out some of
the games you should be honing in on. And those
are two games tonight I will absolutely be looking at
because of and it's not the end all be all
just because they're on a back to back with Some
teams operate a lot better on zero days rest, other
(44:00):
teams do not. And I'll be looking at that Lakers
Brooklyn matchup as well as the Cleveland I can't even
believe I'm saying this, but the Cleveland Cavaliers, Yes, and
the Washington Wizards do not. Think because a team is
total hot garbage like Cleveland and Washington for that matter, Uh,
that doesn't mean there isn't profitability available for you. The
(44:25):
worst the team, the more underrated the team, the perception
of that team that equals profits. Guys. Profiting Uh in
all of sports doesn't go from backing minus six D
favorites and uh, you know, chalk, You want to profit,
You want to make some decent money. Understand that, Yes,
(44:46):
bad teams playing good teams. Yeah, there's there's an opportunity
to cash there on the underdog, So uh, there is
much of that going to be happening here over the
next couple of weeks, but limited card tonight in the
n B A huge card in uh in the college
hoops Arena. In fact, we'll dive into a lot of

those matchups here. We've got some good plays, just like
Tulsa last night, Memphis cash for you. We'll have more

down Tom Brady and Bill Belichick, they would have went
down with the single greatest NFL season we've ever seen

finished his career. I mean, it doesn't get any more
mediocre than this. Congratulations the definition of mediocrity. If you
look it up and you google it right now, a

picture of Elia will show up. That's how mediocre he was.
One seventeen and one seventeen, he finished seventh all time
in NFL history in three categories. Uh, you've got passing yards,
t D passes, and completions all three of those categories.
He is right there at number seven in a little

close to completions. Great career. The debate, of course, will begin.
Is he a Hall of Famer? They're not a Hall
of Famer due to be in the Hall of Fame,
will be a first ballot Hall of Famer. What do
you do with Eli Manning? And uh yeah, that question
will continue to go on. But I will say this
for all of the accolades that somebody like Aaron Rodgers

continues again and continues not to playing the big game.
Manning is just one of five players in NFL history
with at least two Super Bowl m v p s.
Think about that, Joe Montana, bart Star, Tom Brady, and
Terry Bradshaw. You can add Eli Manning in that list.

That's right, Eli, and we are talking about quarterback royalty
there with Montana, Star, Brady, Bradshaw, and Manning, Eli not
paid and Eli as the only players in NFL history
