Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
with iHeartRadio.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
It's almost Famus podcast.
Speaker 3 (00:07):
We're here today with headlines, but I think the most
interesting exciting story of the week is a girls trip
that happened. Yeah, Nashville, Tennessee. Wonderful place, beautiful place, and
luckily we're bringing in a really special guest today to
talk about the weekend.
Speaker 2 (00:26):
Who was there herself? Ashley? What's up? Hi?
Speaker 4 (00:32):
Yes, we had the best weekend ever.
Speaker 5 (00:34):
We stayed at Caitlin's house. So it is Caitlin Carly,
who's also a Nashville native.
Speaker 4 (00:40):
Becka. I don't know if I need Do I need
last names here?
Speaker 5 (00:44):
Do you think the Almost Famous podcast they know everybody
by first.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
Name, Jade and Me and Whitney.
Speaker 5 (00:52):
And it was so great. It was like the it
was the perfect girl's weekend. You know, girls out there
know a lot of the times you'll get your girls
together and there'll be someone who's like bringing down the
bunch or someone that you're talking about like when they
leave the room, or like the event about when you
leave the trip.
Speaker 4 (01:12):
This was one hundred percent positive.
Speaker 5 (01:15):
I was only calling like my sister to like tell
funny stories and be like you wouldn't believe what the
story that's.
Speaker 4 (01:22):
So and so told.
Speaker 5 (01:23):
And it was the greatest, most like heart filling girls
trip together. Collectively, we haven't seen each other like that
in eleven years since we filmed the show. I have
obviously seen I see Caitlin probably at least once a
year in person, and then I beca at least once
a year in person, and Jade's same, Carly I see
(01:45):
like every year or two, and then Whitney I actually
don't think i've seen since, like maybe in person since filming.
We've done podcasts with her together. But it was so
fulfilling heart and soul. It was great, and Caitlyn was
the hostess with the absolute mosess like she has a
(02:05):
guest room for all of us. We all had our
own room, and then she had a private bartender come
the night of that we got there.
Speaker 4 (02:15):
We had.
Speaker 5 (02:15):
What I loved about this was that it wasn't like
a high glam thing like the and it wasn't overly done.
Speaker 4 (02:23):
It was just perfect.
Speaker 5 (02:26):
She had a bartender com for just the six of
us as we dressed up like witches, just for the
six of us, and then.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
We had she had catering. She had sushi chefs come over.
Speaker 5 (02:39):
It was as if we were like staying at a resort,
but it was Caitlyn's house and she had little goodie
baskets in each of the rooms.
Speaker 4 (02:47):
She was such a fantastic host.
Speaker 5 (02:48):
She booked a private Pilateus class for us on Saturday morning,
and then we went and got like Caesars and fries
and had like the nicest girl's bride that is.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
The gliest, by the way, hold up, time out.
Speaker 4 (02:58):
The gurliest thing ever.
Speaker 3 (03:00):
Just the idea that that was a thought is one
hilarious too.
Speaker 2 (03:05):
It's like my favorite meal, but mine's a cops out.
It is the best.
Speaker 4 (03:08):
Okay, it's the best meal.
Speaker 2 (03:09):
That made me laugh. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (03:12):
Then it was Carl's fortieth birthday, so we decorated cowboy hats.
This place called Wrestler and then we decorated that sounds
like a gurly project. I thought it was gonna be
a Gurly project. It's actually like pretty straight up cowboy.
And then we went to a rooftop for drinks, and
then we went to dinner and then we went home.
And let me tell you a lot of times making
(03:34):
Instagram content and seems like fun. When you're watching and
you're scrolling on Instagram, it's usually a lot of work
and there's not a lot of fun to it. We
did these Instagram these trends. It actually the whole weekend
started because of a trend Caitlin. This isn't a girl
chat group that we normally have going on, but she
(03:55):
had texted a group of us.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
Saying we should do this trend.
Speaker 5 (04:00):
And she just meant we should all send in like
our own clip of us, just you know, from Chris's season,
and then a clip of us from now and she's like,
and I'll compile them.
Speaker 4 (04:12):
And I was like, well, what if we do it
in person?
Speaker 5 (04:14):
And then I was like, I'm available this Like I
picked a weekend that I knew would be very free,
and then Carly was like, that's my fortieth birthday weekend
and she was like, and I just broke up with
my fiance and I could really use this. And that's
how the plans got out of the group chat.
Speaker 4 (04:32):
As they say, I.
Speaker 3 (04:33):
Mean, it's absolutely spectacular. I think this is so fun.
I love personally. One of my favorite things to see
on social media and to see with my friends is
like people coming together around a table again, right, celebrating, sharing,
just reminiscing. This seemed like the perfect weekend for that. Now,
(04:54):
were you able to enjoy yourselves without social media or
was this overly social media load?
Speaker 5 (05:00):
No?
Speaker 1 (05:00):
I I.
Speaker 4 (05:02):
Didn't finish my thought there.
Speaker 5 (05:03):
But the reason I say that like, sometimes it looks fun,
but it's usually not.
Speaker 4 (05:08):
It's usually actually work.
Speaker 5 (05:10):
We had the greatest time making these instagrams and TikTok,
some of which haven't been out yet. It was like
a creative outlet for us, and it felt as if
we were in nineteen ninety eight being like ten to
twelve year olds making Spice Girls music videos.
Speaker 4 (05:29):
Like that's what it felt like.
Speaker 5 (05:31):
We were watching back footage twenty four hours after filming.
Speaker 4 (05:35):
Something, and we were actually like on the floor.
Speaker 5 (05:38):
I was holding my foot to like my crotch to
make sure I didn't actually pee my pants because we
were laughing so hard. It hurts watching this stuff back.
So it was great. It was absolutely like the most fun.
And then I would never do a dance TikTok. But
then I got like the mirror Ball Trophy winner teaching
(06:00):
you how to do a TikTok dance, and she's just
like having the time.
Speaker 4 (06:02):
It was just the best. It was so much fun.
Speaker 5 (06:04):
And no, I wasn't like we were doing social media
the entire time. It was an asset to the weekend
and it was only a few hours.
Speaker 3 (06:11):
Okay, some rapid fire questions for you. Okay, did you
call chrys Souls?
Speaker 4 (06:16):
No, that would be weird because Whitney was there.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
You know, if is that weird? I don't know.
Speaker 5 (06:21):
Yes, that was not like, you know, would Laurene call
you in a group situation.
Speaker 3 (06:28):
I think if all the other girls were like, can
we let's do it, that'd be funny. I think she'd
be like whatever, I don't care, Like he's not gonna.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
I don't know. I don't know.
Speaker 3 (06:36):
Maybe no, I don't think i'd be Okay, was there
any competition like that was brought up from eleven years
ago back at this house, like did you stare one
of these girls down? Like, hey, you made it farther
than me, but look at me now.
Speaker 4 (06:53):
I don't think so.
Speaker 5 (06:55):
No, but I do say and I'm echoing the sentiments
of a lot of people in the comment section of
our last Instagram reil that went up where it was
like eleven years ago versus now and like pretty much
everyone glowed up.
Speaker 3 (07:08):
I was going to say, I saw the picture pretty
flirty and thriving. Yeah, I think you all. I mean,
I think you were beautiful back then. I think it
was a great season, a great cast. I saw them, yeah,
like the side by sides, and I was like, all
these women look like so like better, which is crazy. Yeah,
I don't know why, but it's like going against.
Speaker 4 (07:32):
Good skin treatments. I don't know.
Speaker 3 (07:33):
Yeah, was it every? The final question for you? Was
it everything you wanted to be and more? I mean,
I know we had talked about this for a couple
of weeks leading up to it. This was an exciting day.
I was excited for you guys. I was pumped that
you're doing this.
Speaker 4 (07:47):
I know, like you kind of like Wishy were there.
Speaker 5 (07:49):
We should have like a third guy the third day,
for some of our favorite guys to show up.
Speaker 2 (07:53):
Yeah, I would just come and hung out. Plus I've
been to Kaylin' Soun's so cool sick.
Speaker 4 (07:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (07:57):
Yeah, was it everything you wanted to be?
Speaker 5 (07:59):
It is beyond everything we wanted it to be. We're
going to We're trying to make plans to do it
now once a year, like we're actually trying to like
form up a week for next year.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (08:10):
Now, this is like a guy's golf trip, right, Like
guys have this thing, or at least my buddies where
it's easy because you have to book golf trips in advance.
You have to commit to them, and we you know,
traditionally have done that year every year or year because
we have to hold this date out because the course
needs to know we're coming. I've heard this often times
with women. This has actually been a conversation that came
(08:33):
up with mom. Con It's come up in my own household.
It's just seems to be a thing for whatever reason.
I think a very interesting thing right now is women
are were having a hard time as they get out
of college and into their thirties and forties finding a
hobby they you know, like a hobby they call it
so like something to do with friends, something to do
to helps them gather. Guys have golf, right. I think
(08:55):
that's my thing, and so I'm a big proponent of
like these pick a weekend, have it every year, like
you don't block it's blocked off.
Speaker 2 (09:04):
You have to get together.
Speaker 5 (09:06):
Yeah, I know, it's definitely a little anxiety and being like, Okay, so.
Speaker 4 (09:11):
This is the day.
Speaker 5 (09:11):
So like, if I to get any opportunities this week,
I guess I know, guys, I know to it.
Speaker 2 (09:17):
I mean it is.
Speaker 4 (09:18):
Yeah, it is life.
Speaker 5 (09:20):
I was going to say that actually during the trip,
I was like, I feel bad for guys, Like I
feel bad that Jared doesn't have a group like this
where I do feel like girl talk is so much
more intimate and soul filling than guy talk. It's like,
I know that you guys need that outlet, but I
don't know that you ever have it the way that
(09:40):
and you get it through golf trips and such, but
you don't like you talk about sports and stuff like that.
And like we talked about everything that we're feeling.
Speaker 2 (09:52):
That's hilarious. Well healthy, Yeah, it's good.
Speaker 4 (09:54):
It's so good.
Speaker 2 (09:56):
There was a witch night. I heart is very interested
in what this witch it was.
Speaker 5 (10:01):
Oh, it was like, just like we just said it,
wouldn't it be funny if we like all dressed up
as a witch, you know, being Halloween, and we just
all picked one that resonated with us.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
So there was six of you total, six of you
total at this house.
Speaker 3 (10:17):
Well, Ashley, I think this is such a fun thing.
I was so happy to watch it. I think Chris Soles,
it's interesting for me. I don't know Carly very well.
Speaker 4 (10:28):
Yeah, I guess you and Carly never had any run ins.
And also just.
Speaker 5 (10:31):
Shout out to Caitlin's assistant who was there helping with
everything and being our videographer.
Speaker 4 (10:37):
She was absolutely fantastic.
Speaker 2 (10:40):
Sure she loved it.
Speaker 3 (10:40):
What better role is it to be than one on
the other side of the camera just enjoying the people
making pools of themselves on the other side. Yeah, but
all those women are so cool, like they are, They're
so great. I think that's something that we need to
say because oftentimes we come on here and we talk
about the villain, we talk about the thing that's dramatic,
we talk about the people that have maybe caused the
headline which you're going to just the second, and those
(11:00):
headlines typically aren't great. The women that were in that
house with you, and there was many others on your
season and I also think were great, But that was like,
this is a solid group of women that I always
enjoy being around, and I know my wife really loves
being around. They're some of the best. Yeah, in eleven
years twenty two seasons. How you know of the show
(11:24):
like still some of the best that people relate to
love and they deserve it because you guys are are awesome.
Speaker 5 (11:30):
Oh well, thank you, Ben, You are shining star in
that in that group.
Speaker 3 (11:36):
You don't have to come back to me with anything.
I was happy to see it, Ashley. I'm sure you're tired.
Speaker 5 (11:41):
Yeah, I'm good. No, actually not tired, to be honest.
Slept better than I've slept in years.
Speaker 3 (11:47):
Yeah, I was thinking, I uh yeah, that's actually probably funny.
Speaker 2 (11:52):
You didn't have video in eruptions.
Speaker 5 (11:53):
It was a child free house. I had the luxury
of waiting. I woke up at eight and then I
was like, you know what, I'm just gonna like sit
in bed, scroll on the phone, day dream a little bit.
Speaker 4 (12:04):
And then you know what I did. I fell back
to sleep till ten thirty.
Speaker 5 (12:07):
And that is something that has not happened in a
very long time.
Speaker 2 (12:12):
This is so good.
Speaker 3 (12:13):
Oh, this is so you're right, because you just yeah,
your boys love to get you up.
Speaker 2 (12:17):
They just love life. They want to get you up,
get you going. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (12:20):
I mean they wake up late, which is nice, but
like I don't get like once I'm out of bed. Yeah,
out of bed, Like once you hear them on the monitor,
your bedtime is over.
Speaker 3 (12:31):
I was thinking about the season of Caitlyn season that
I was on and the guys that would get together
from that. Jared would obviously be like my number one call,
you know, the Tamers of the world, and so I
just don't have close relationships to a lot of those guys.
Speaker 2 (12:46):
Jared, Jared is the one. I mean, Nick was on
that season.
Speaker 3 (12:52):
I do talk to Nick, but Jared is the one
dude that I and I like a lot of them,
like I love them at the Golden Wedding having dinner
with Tanner. I mean, he's it's not not seeing these
guys aren't great.
Speaker 2 (13:04):
We just don't talk Cupcake. I don't talk to Cupcake.
Speaker 4 (13:08):
I love Cupcake so much.
Speaker 2 (13:09):
He's a great dude.
Speaker 4 (13:10):
He's actually a friend of mine.
Speaker 5 (13:11):
That's very similar to those girls, where it's like I
could go a couple of years without seeing him and
it's like not weird at all when we see him,
and we.
Speaker 4 (13:19):
Could just like blah blah bla blah blah blah blah blah.
Speaker 2 (13:22):
Chris Strandberg to be proper. Yeah, I'm just laughing at
the fact that his name's Cupcake. Like, how a poor guy.
He's like thirty eight years old and he's still known
as Cupcake.
Speaker 4 (13:32):
I know, like I can't believe that's stuck so.
Speaker 3 (13:34):
Hard they did. But yeah, I mean there's great guys
on the season. I just don't necessarily have their friendship
with all of them close enough to be like, hey,
let's all get together again, all.
Speaker 2 (13:55):
Right, should we dive in the headlines.
Speaker 4 (13:56):
Let's do it.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
Big headline coming out of.
Speaker 3 (13:58):
Last week actually was The Bachelor's Melissa Ryecroft says she's
struggling after a rest.
Speaker 5 (14:07):
I mean, yeah, yeah, not laughing at this, but yeah.
Speaker 3 (14:12):
No, but like what a headline like this is the
best head that they could come up with, is she's
struggling after their arrest.
Speaker 2 (14:19):
Yes, like that makes sense.
Speaker 5 (14:22):
Our podcast producer Hither and I were on the podcast
together doing these headlines last week, and I was like, oh, man,
were we like No, I I guess we weren't like
too hard on Melissa and we're talking about the mugshot
and how rough she looked at it.
Speaker 2 (14:39):
She did she did drink and drive, so you know,
it's a long night.
Speaker 5 (14:47):
So what happened was people were talking about on Instagram.
She posted an inspirational message or she posted something on
Instagram and then people were commenting under eth it. Some
shared it inspirational quote, some are like I made the
mistake as well. Somebody said, no excuse, but it happened.
(15:10):
Don't forget that you are beautiful, loved, blessed, and Melissa.
Speaker 4 (15:14):
Ro underneath it and she said, thank you.
Speaker 5 (15:16):
Life really sucks right now and I am struggling, but
I'm trying to march forward. But thank you for the
sweet words in what seems to be a world of negativity.
And that's our update from her. Obviously, she's like not
going to post be like well, I don't know. Everybody
does their own thing, but.
Speaker 2 (15:34):
She's not going to post to be like Chris.
Speaker 4 (15:36):
Was my mug shot when I drink and drive.
Speaker 3 (15:39):
Yeah, she's not gonna be like this is life is great.
Everything's clicking how I've always dreamed. It's be clicking like
this is a tough season. There's a lot to learn,
a lot to grow, a lot of like different feelings
that you know, I think in life, mistakes happen, and
like people said, it's a mistake that happens. But shame
(16:00):
and guilt do not do a human well. But I think,
you know, changing course, adjusting, making it a part of
your story, teaching others about, you know, how these things
can happen and how quickly it can happen. I think
that's where we hope she goes. But yeah, this is
a tough season of life for her. And the mug
shot was not great, but goodness great sious. It's not
(16:21):
like it was a glamour shoot. Like she's standing against
a brick wall in a jail. It's not gonna look awesome.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (16:28):
Actually, a few weeks ago we talked about this new
thing happening on social media and I'm actually very concerned
about it.
Speaker 2 (16:37):
I think.
Speaker 3 (16:39):
The path forward will only get worse with AI with
the ability to create and make things look so lifelike.
And it's scary for anybody, the public eye or not.
It's scary. And we talked about this well. Trista Sutter
was also a victim of this fake news that's going around.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
Remember we talked.
Speaker 3 (17:03):
About a few right, Yeah, well, she also is a
victim of the fake news. This fake news claims she
was going to be a grandmother. She has two kids
with Ryan, both young, both still in high school.
Speaker 4 (17:18):
I mean ones, I guess starting college now.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (17:21):
Yeah, I don't love I mean I have said I'm
very concerned about where this goes going forward for anybody.
But I don't love that the fake news that's been
a coin term over the last you know, ten years.
I don't love that there's like actual fake news that's
fake news, like created fake news just to spark a
(17:41):
debate that could really hurt people.
Speaker 5 (17:44):
So I was a little confused by this. I saw
when Trista posted her video there was speculation that her
eighteen year old son Max was going to be a dad,
And I don't really know. I don't really understand how
they they manipulated the pictures or the people put headlines
or the pictures to say that the pictures of them
(18:07):
like him and his ex girlfriend, have been used for clickbait.
She said, have you heard the news because I did
last night. My first reaction was laughter. My second reaction
was anger. Biggest reason for that it is all a lie.
The one thing, it's one thing. If it's about me,
I could just ignore it, but it comes with the territory.
(18:28):
It's not I think it's about my children. She said,
I'm very much looking forward to becoming a grandma. Of
course I would support my children, but hoping that's a
little bit further down the road. But the bottom line
is basically one of these like fake news outlets, like
the clickbaity sites, not like an US weekly, not like
a People magazine, but like there's other weird things out there.
Speaker 2 (18:49):
Took photos of.
Speaker 5 (18:50):
Her son Max and his ex girlfriend and alluded to
the fact that they were having a child.
Speaker 4 (18:57):
And that's what it is. That's crazy.
Speaker 3 (19:01):
It's just fake. It's it's made up stuff. It's gonna
happen more and more. I don't like it. It's not Trista
is one of many who have been kind of focused
on from this. I think we're going to see a
lot of people pop up. Here's here's what I would
say to anybody that happens to in the public eye.
Are not because I think this is going to happen
(19:21):
to everyone at some point. Is clear things up with
the people that are close to you. But then don't
bring attention to it because nobody's actually reading this stuff.
I mean, if maybe a bigger like like a People
or something, would pick it up, they would have to
call you first. And if they did share this information,
you're gonna get really rich on them sharing this information
(19:43):
because it's fake. And so I just I think it's
it's worth ignoring because the more clicks, the more money,
and the money is what's driving the ability for this
to continue to happen, because it's just it's it's it's
like a it's a machine that won't stop. It's a
snowball effect. And the more and more people click, the
(20:05):
bigger these get, the more often they come out, and
it's going to be the craziest things. And we'll probably
be spending the next many years on the show during
headlines saying that was fake. That isn't real. This was
a headline. If you saw it, it's not a real thing.
And that's just I don't know, it's bogus. I'd much
rather talk about cooler stories like Joe and Serena. Joe
(20:26):
teases Serena that they should probably think about having a
kid soon. But here's the other crazy part about Joe
and Serena. I've been following Joe. I love Joe, He's
loved Joe, great guy. Serena is awesome, both incredible. I
know Joe Better. He was at the Ryder Cup and
then he goes from the Ryder Cup to like Soul,
(20:48):
South Korea, and then they go from Soul, South Korea.
I see that they're back, and then yesterday posted they're
at the airport on their way to Tokyo, Like, yeah, why.
Speaker 4 (20:57):
Would you do that?
Speaker 2 (20:58):
I have no idea, but what why would you come back?
Here's my judgment towards them.
Speaker 3 (21:03):
If you want to have a kid, stop traveling across
the world back and forth all the time.
Speaker 5 (21:08):
I think what they're doing right now is doing their
last hurrah before they hurrah.
Speaker 2 (21:16):
I mean this is like, this is like shock. I mean,
we've seen people.
Speaker 5 (21:19):
This is a well planned hurrah. Though, this is definitely
what they're intentionally doing.
Speaker 2 (21:23):
I don't think it's a well planned hurrah. They were
in South Korea and they you know what they're doing.
Speaker 5 (21:31):
They're flying first class because nobody flying coach would ever
do that.
Speaker 3 (21:35):
Well, yes, I would imagine that the two of them
are flying first class. They do have another bachelor podcast
that they host. I'm sure they're just cranking in the dough.
They're flying first class, they're drinking champagne, their feet are
kicked up, It's easy, it's breezy still.
Speaker 4 (21:49):
Why, oh my gosh, So this is funny.
Speaker 5 (21:52):
So Joe said as he was getting this eighteen step
Scout massage treatment in Sewol. He said that I have
realized that I have way too much time in my
hands and I should probably think about having a kid soon.
I would say, is this the him teasing that they
are having a kid soon? But I also don't think
(22:12):
that Serena's going to be going in her first trybuster
to South Korea or Tokyo all in one month. And
then the caption was great. I did love the caption.
I did not respond, but I was like, this is
the kind of moment in which you do realize that
you should have a kid. I'm like, I am that barn. Now,
(22:33):
that's just like, don't you think that you should have
a kid? I have turned into my mom. It's a
wonderful life. Come over here and join it. And yeah,
when you do find yourself doing like lots of SPA
treatments and just like having the just relaxing all the time,
you should shake.
Speaker 4 (22:52):
It up a bit.
Speaker 5 (22:53):
Kidding, I'm a little jealous. This is coming from a
little bit of a place of jealousy for sure. And
then my husband to row underneath the comment in the
comments he said, just join the club already. I promise
it's not that stressful, in which he's definitely joking, but
I actually say, in hindsight, having one is really not
that stressful. It doesn't shake up your life. As in
(23:16):
our perspective, having one was a lot different as far
as was like life flexibility and being able to do
things like eighteen step scalp treatments, which I have done
a scalp treatment over the past few months. It was
a nice, luxurious treat that I gave myself as a mom.
(23:36):
I'm just rambling here, but I but I also think
that you know, when you have the one, you can
still do things like that. And then Natalie Nick's wife said,
I've literally been telling you this.
Speaker 4 (23:50):
Ben comments Jes went.
Speaker 2 (23:53):
I like how you go of just rambling and then
you keep going.
Speaker 4 (23:55):
That's that's a classic man.
Speaker 2 (23:59):
Oh Ash, I love doing this with you.
Speaker 4 (24:02):
Do you really?
Speaker 5 (24:03):
I think you probably just like get off and be
like wow, that woman doesn't shut up sometimes.
Speaker 3 (24:06):
Never said that, never said it, never thought it, never
it would feel it.
Speaker 2 (24:11):
I just love it.
Speaker 3 (24:12):
I just I find it humorous sometimes and you're like,
I'm just rambling and then you're like that, let me
keep going.
Speaker 2 (24:18):
The uh.
Speaker 3 (24:20):
Jess went to a baby shower last night and it
was her first night away from Wanona since Wanana's well
since she's been pregnant with Wanona.
Speaker 4 (24:28):
Whoa well, first night away, that's anxiety and do.
Speaker 2 (24:31):
Yeah. She was struggling with it and we talked about it.
Speaker 3 (24:34):
I was like, here's the deal, one night away, Like
we know you rip the bandit off, but here's the
other side that we kind of came to the conclusion of.
One of the roles I think for you now at
a baby shower, because there you remember the feelings for
your first is to tell people how great it is.
It's not like easy, but it's great. It's so much better,
(24:55):
And to like relieve the stress of oh my gosh,
this is such a daunting idea. Yes it is, and
it should be. You're bringing life into the world and
you're now responsible for keeping this life alive. However, it's
so much more amazing than you can ever imagine. Here's side.
Here's my second point to this. It's funny, Ashley. I
don't know if you feel this way, but you know
(25:18):
Jessica travels with Wenona more than I do. You know,
she kind of brings her anywhere she can.
Speaker 5 (25:24):
Yeah, I've done it alone too, And Jared hasn't done
it alone. Not that he's fully capable and you would
do a great job, but he's been on a plane
alone with him.
Speaker 3 (25:31):
But when you're alone at your house now, it's so
boring and it's great for like a day, two days,
day three, You're like, I don't know what to do,
Like what did I do with myself when there wasn't
a wife and a kid?
Speaker 4 (25:44):
We as that all the time. I guess I watched
a lot of TV.
Speaker 2 (25:47):
I have no idea. It's so boring.
Speaker 3 (25:49):
So it's like so much different, and so now I'm like,
I don't even remember how I functioned as an adult
without these types of gifts and responsibility.
Speaker 2 (26:01):
I would never go back.
Speaker 5 (26:02):
That's so Ben exactly. And I have so many friends
that are in there. Okay, when I say so many,
I have three in my head that I can think
of that are really going back for that really are
just like I'm not sure.
Speaker 4 (26:15):
I don't know. I don't know, Like I love my
life right now? Do I want to mess it up.
Speaker 5 (26:19):
And my first of all, you're not messing you would
not mess it up, And yes you should. I'm always like,
if you're in debate of it, I feel like.
Speaker 3 (26:26):
You should hundred percent. So great, so wonderful. I had
Winnie last night, belly laughing, just her and I, you know,
Jess wasn't there, and it was just Wennie wayala night
and she was belly laughing, and I was like, I
put her to bed and I laid back in our
bed and I was like, oh my gosh, Like what
(26:48):
a life, like, what a dream?
Speaker 2 (26:50):
This is so cool?
Speaker 3 (26:51):
Hey, Gabby l Nicky gets engaged a long time boyfriend,
Zach now Ashley. If I remember right when Gabby came
on our show, she kind of hinted or talked about
this relationship fairly open lee, but they hadn't necessarily been
public yet and there wasn't a lot of information out
there on them. But she thought at the time it
was the real deal. She was very excited about this relationship.
(27:12):
Well now we see it come full circle with the engagement.
Speaker 5 (27:16):
She definitely made it seem like this would be in
their future. We're very happy for them.
Speaker 4 (27:21):
She posted.
Speaker 5 (27:22):
The engagement photos are so cute, So the luckiest girl
in the world.
Speaker 4 (27:27):
They're very cute.
Speaker 5 (27:31):
So good congratulations to that too beautiful, like right there
on the ocean with the waves, it's so gorgeous.
Speaker 4 (27:40):
She said that it was perfect.
Speaker 5 (27:44):
It was totally unexpected and so full of love. And
she said that her sister Chloe helped him. His name
is Zach ironically, which is absolutely hilarious because she was
second place on Zach season had organized family photos for
the group and led her to think that, like, the
entire thing was nothing unusual because I did it in
(28:06):
like you know, they're saying, oh, we're doing family photos
by the ocean, and then he did it in a
turn into an engagement shute, So.
Speaker 3 (28:12):
Great congratulations to the two of them. Big news that
we've been following the Bachelor alum Katie Thurston is feeling
this word is great, optimistic amid her stage for cancer battle. Ashley,
(28:39):
I know you have an update via social media about
where Katie's at and all this. I think listeners will
want to know we've been falling along rooting for her.
Speaker 5 (28:48):
I wish I did, but she actually put on her
booby broadcast yesterday that she'll be getting the results today
Monday afternoon, she said, I've shared experiences and advice and
words of encouraged. The shared experiences of advice and wards
of encouragement have meant so much to me. I'm manifesting
(29:10):
there'll be no evidence of active disease in celebrating with
you all soon. So we are waiting with baited breath
to get those results today.
Speaker 4 (29:21):
It's the six month scan. She says, she feels optimistic.
Speaker 5 (29:23):
About it, and again in this article she's just talking
about how grateful she's been to have her husband along
her side for this entire thing. She can't face cancer alone.
You really have to rely on your friends and family
and to have somebody who's your partner and who's right
there every step of the way, and all this has
meant so much to me.
Speaker 3 (29:44):
It's something that will continue to follow rooting for Katie here.
Jojo Fletcher and Jordan Rogers share bucket list moment with
Becca Tilley ahead of baby's arrival.
Speaker 5 (29:55):
So yes, I talked a little bit about about JoJo's
pregnancy with Back this week, and she was like, Jojo
has been so like unaffected by this pregnancy.
Speaker 4 (30:06):
She's like one of the rare people that are fully
enjoying it.
Speaker 5 (30:08):
She's had like no sickness, no real symptoms bringing her down.
Good for you, Jojo, jealous and honestly very happy for you.
But she said that right now they're trying to check
off bucket list moments. And so the three of them.
Speaker 4 (30:25):
Was Jordan with them. You didn't realize that Jordan was
with them, Okay, okay.
Speaker 5 (30:29):
So they went to the desert and they went to
Rise Festival and that's where you kind of like lift
up your floating lantern into the sky. That's like it's
a whole bunch of music and other things. Now, but
this was why Jojo and Beca wanted to go. And
you kind of like put your wish into the world, as.
Speaker 4 (30:46):
My friends and I say. And she said that.
Speaker 5 (30:50):
It was a bucket list moment to be there, and
she had her new liquor company there, her new saltzers,
and she said that, you know, being with Becca and
experiencing this it's the rainbow baby surrounded by so much light, is.
Speaker 4 (31:04):
Something that she'll never forget, you know, this is a forever.
Speaker 5 (31:07):
Memory for her. And she said that she's very emotional
and happy that think I'll got to experience it together.
Speaker 3 (31:12):
It's really great. And her Seltzers are really good, by
the way. Yeah, they're apparall sprits Seltzers. I don't know
the name, but they're great. We've enjoyed them here after Italy, especially.
They keep our desire going back, all.
Speaker 2 (31:30):
Right, Ashley.
Speaker 3 (31:31):
Final headline of today is headline of Somebody You're Just With.
Becattilli reveals plans to propose to fiance Haley Kyoko.
Speaker 5 (31:41):
Well, you know, we didn't really get any tea on
when Becca's going to do this.
Speaker 4 (31:47):
I know what. I didn't really pull and pry about
when she's going to do it.
Speaker 5 (31:51):
I just said, you are going to do it, right,
and she said, yes, this is And then and Kaylee
knows this. It's not like it's surprise or anything. And
in this video that was up on Instagram this week,
she's just like, I honestly love being engaged with you,
which is kind of cute. And I love waking up
(32:12):
and seeing the ring on your finger and your smile.
It's so fun. This is Haley to Becca. And then
Becca said that she's planning on proposing to Haley as well,
and she said, it's so fun. I'm really excited about
the proposal. She said that she is going to have
to be very sneaky to pull off a surprise because
(32:35):
she feels like she just got it so good from Hailey.
It was such a surprise to her. She needs to
figure that out. But they keep talking about glowing and
glowing because it was maybe a sponsored video that they
posted about this, but also at the same time, they
really truly are glowing.
Speaker 2 (32:52):
They are.
Speaker 5 (32:53):
I was like, you guys are constantly like in why
do I feel like you are just seven years in
and basically in the honeymoon stage still like they are
so lovey dovey with each other, and she said that
is true. She goes, it doesn't mean that like we
don't fight, but like we do, we are very romantic.
Speaker 4 (33:11):
With each other.
Speaker 3 (33:12):
It's it's really special. Yeah, And obviously we love Becca
so much. She is one of, as I said, the
coolest and greatest people to come from the franchise definitely.
Speaker 2 (33:26):
Always has been.
Speaker 3 (33:28):
Well, that's all the headlines we have for you today.
The only other headline I wanted to bring up was
that Jared Hayman is a part of the DC universe,
making his appearance in the show Peacemaker. He does a
great job, really good acting, incredible execution on his part.
Speaker 4 (33:47):
Thank you on his behalf.
Speaker 5 (33:49):
Yeah, yes, Jared a friend of ours. Yeah, Dawson can't
see it. It's very it's a kind of a graphic scene.
Speaker 3 (33:57):
Yeah, He's like, like, I don't think it's Yeah, Jared
has never done cocaine in his life, but when James
Gunn says you should snort some fake coke, he.
Speaker 2 (34:06):
Does it, and he does it well. He looks like
you've been there before. Yeah, Jared gets to say that.
Speaker 5 (34:12):
He has been part of the DCU and that James
gun directed him. So that is truly one of the
top things on his bucket list. And thank you to
a great friend he was able to set that experience
up for him.
Speaker 3 (34:26):
Oh so fun. Well, hey, that is all the headlines
we have for you today. It's great to be with
you again. We got a big week ahead of us
with the Golden Bachelor. Obviously more news coming out on
the Bachelorette. We'll have some great interviews, so stay tuned
to the almost famous thread for everything good happening in
and around Bachelor Nation.
Speaker 2 (34:45):
