Speaker 2 (00:41):
This is the almost Famous podcast with iHeartRadio.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
Guys, Almost Famous podcast.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
Thank you so much for being here, Brian and Parisa,
thank you so I want to I want to say
this first of all, love the new look.
Speaker 4 (00:55):
Yeah, I love where you're going with this a lot
of shade. I figured I'll just stay in.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
The embraces, keep the hat, keep the hat, keep the
glasses on. So Parisa, you roll into Paradise. First of all,
let's point out something here. Parisa is a fellow Detroiter. Yes,
represent represent So I'm gonna make sure I take care
of you in this interview. Okay, But I do have
a goal for this interview, and I'm going to state
it right up front. I really want you guys back together.
(01:22):
I'm gonna figure it out. I'm getting to the bottom
of this today and I'm creating. I'm renewing a love connection. Okay,
because I liked you guys. There's a couple on the show.
So when Parisa and Ali Joe roll into the Paradise.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
Island, it is like a James Bond movie.
Speaker 1 (01:38):
Right, you guys are coming in, And I remember I
laughed about this out loud.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
I'm like, dude, Brian's head was on a swivel.
Speaker 1 (01:46):
It was just like a media like honest to god,
and it was like what And it was probably saying
what we were all thinking at home, like who in
the hell is this? Where are they coming from what
is going on, and you guys just sort of took
the island by storm, scared the hell out of everyone
that was already there, right. I think you were one
of the first like new uh well you were the
first new women that came out.
Speaker 3 (02:04):
Of the other anywhere.
Speaker 1 (02:05):
Yeah, and and so it just sort of like just
really sent some ripples right through the through the beach
obviously created a whole storyline for our boy Brian here.
Speaker 3 (02:15):
I mean, yeah, you were just getting shredded.
Speaker 1 (02:19):
But I mean it has to be it has to
be interesting because part of the beauty of Bachelor in
Paradise is that people go there to make love connections
and meet each other and everything, but there are also
always new people coming, and so it's like, yes, you
want to get to know the people that are there,
but if someone comes in that is more your speed,
right You You either have to make it, you have
(02:40):
to make a choice. Someone's either going to get their
feelings hurt or you know whatever. And Brian, I mean
you you kind of really drew a line in the sand.
I don't know if you guys notice why I did
their island and you do a line of the sand
right away you're like, okay, uh hi, Prisa, I'm Brian.
I mean it was immediate for you, it wasn't it.
Speaker 4 (02:56):
It was paradise paradise, And like, I don't understand what
people don't understand about that, right. It's we're in week
two and it's like opportunities are open, and like people
that are getting locked down immediately, like god bless Spencer
and Jess you know, lockdown immedia and love it first sight.
But aside from that, like like this isn't like let's
explore our options here, right, Yeah, So I didn't really
(03:19):
understand you know, the viewers' comments so to speak, right,
but you know, it's it's our own journey and we
have to live.
Speaker 1 (03:26):
It, right. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (03:27):
I made sure too, Like I knew, you know, stepping
foot onto that beach that there were probably already relationships established,
and so that was my mindset of you know, like
I'm gonna kind of scope everything out. I don't want
to go after someone who's like really locked in, like Spencer,
like that's no point there. But I I kind of
(03:49):
wanted to allow Brian to handle all of that because
it's like not I know, I'm sorry, Like it's not
my place to like now be the third one in,
you know, their personal conversation of like, okay, so what's up,
Like how's this going? You know, like I wanted him
to take care of all of that that was his
it was your business, yeah, you know, yeah, and then
(04:13):
just see what came next out of it.
Speaker 3 (04:16):
You know, I think that.
Speaker 1 (04:17):
I mean, that's almost the only way you can handle it, right,
Like what are you gonna do? Go walking over to
Zoe and be like, Hi, I'm here now, Yeah, you're
gonna do that, I know.
Speaker 6 (04:24):
And I was actually like watching everything back.
Speaker 5 (04:27):
I remember you when Ellie Joe and I stepped onto
the beach, you know, we're kind of like talking everybody,
and then we get pulled into a conversation with Zoe
and actually, yeah, and you know we're talking, we're asking like,
what's you know low down here?
Speaker 6 (04:44):
Fill us in?
Speaker 5 (04:45):
And it was funny because before going into that conversation,
I had spoken Ellie Joe. I'm like, you know, I
have my eye on Brian. I think he's really cute.
I want to get to know him.
Speaker 6 (04:53):
What about you, Ellie Joe? And she was like, oh,
you know, I don't know yet.
Speaker 5 (04:56):
Maybe Dale, maybe Jonathan and I'm like, okay. So we
go into the com versation and the first thing is
always like yeah, like I'm talking to Brian and Dale
and then I look at Eli Joe and I'm like, oh, wonderful.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
But didn't she take it one step for like, so
stay away from them, Yeah, don't touch.
Speaker 5 (05:12):
And I look and then she goes, who are you
girls looking at? And I look at l Joe mcking nobody.
Speaker 6 (05:16):
Yeah, don't what.
Speaker 1 (05:17):
Are you going to do?
Speaker 7 (05:18):
I'm like, there's just no reaction to her. Was hilarious.
You and Ali Joe both are.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
Like, yeah, yeah, it was such good.
Speaker 1 (05:24):
You know. The union that's our franchise is that the
fact that is like the single greatest editor editors in
the world and they produce for Romance so well. So
I mean they always have, you know, and it's like
one of those things it's like, oh, so stay away
from my man.
Speaker 3 (05:38):
It's like all of a sudden, it's like.
Speaker 1 (05:40):
Oh, okay, you know, yeah, I'm not going to do
anything here on the beach, right.
Speaker 7 (05:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:45):
So did you guys feel an instant connection like with
the two of you just it seemed like you did,
like you almost kind of like gravitated to right and
that then you went on that date right where you
were like like the bar games that was pretty hot.
Speaker 7 (05:58):
That was awesome Games, well was it was?
Speaker 6 (06:00):
Actually, it was so funny. The car ride to the date.
Speaker 5 (06:03):
I guess we weren't supposed to be left unsupervised.
Speaker 3 (06:07):
And that goal the entire time.
Speaker 6 (06:10):
We just talked the whole time.
Speaker 5 (06:11):
I'm not getting to know him, not thinking like, oh,
we should probably save this or on camera during the date.
Speaker 6 (06:17):
But I mean we had an hour an.
Speaker 5 (06:20):
Hour in the car getting to know each other and
I'm finding out so much like he loves music, I
love to sing, and I'm like, oh my god, wow,
And it was amazing. Then we get to the date
and we're having fun, and then you know, we're set
at a table to talk and I'm like, I already
know him.
Speaker 6 (06:34):
I love this. This is like I don't know what
I like.
Speaker 5 (06:37):
I don't know, like I had my mind made up
already at that point, but everybody was off camera.
Speaker 7 (06:41):
It was a great car ride.
Speaker 4 (06:42):
We went over like so much and it was already
like we were just like connected.
Speaker 7 (06:47):
Already on the car ride.
Speaker 3 (06:48):
Well it's not your fault.
Speaker 1 (06:49):
They didn't film it, right, I mean, maybe they just knew,
like I know, that there's something here, right, and so
we're going.
Speaker 3 (06:55):
To keep minding this because I think that's good.
Speaker 1 (06:58):
So, you know, I I noticed today just to kind
of let let the cat out of the bag. Earlier today,
you guys said that you weren't currently together, and you said,
you know, I think I think Parsa said it very nicely.
Speaker 3 (07:11):
You said, well, life just kind of got in the way, right,
And I get it.
Speaker 1 (07:14):
I mean, Brian, you've been pretty candid about the fact
that you were kind of fully invested in your restaurant
and getting that off the ground and and everything, and
that can take a lot of time.
Speaker 3 (07:22):
I mean, the restaurant industry is no easy feet.
Speaker 7 (07:24):
It's awful, man.
Speaker 1 (07:25):
Yeah, but but you know, it's what you love to do,
and and you know, so there's gonna be those times.
Since you've been back here, I mean you had to sit,
like you know, I think the chairs might have been
a quarter of an inch apart all day, right, you
guys sat there for several hours. I mean I forced
you to sit really close on this couch. Is this
something that makes you, guys kind of feel a little reconnected?
(07:46):
I mean, is there anything that you've like you noticed that,
you know, oh yeah, these are things I really liked
about him that maybe you know, got a little off kilter,
you know, after being in feathers and stuff on a
whole day and a long day for everybody.
Speaker 3 (07:57):
But I mean, it was it ever like that moment
where you're like, you actually do.
Speaker 1 (08:00):
Have fun with this guy, and and where you're thinking, man,
you know this is this is a lot of fun.
Speaker 3 (08:05):
I enjoy spending time with her.
Speaker 4 (08:08):
We we went about four weeks without speaking, Yeah, and
we saw each other last night and the lobby and
she wouldn't make eye contacts with me.
Speaker 7 (08:21):
Yeah, And I was like, let me play it for
a chat.
Speaker 1 (08:25):
It could have been hard because you can't see your
eyes with those damn shades, do you know? She doesn't. No,
So so it was like you got so you you
you kind of you. You just decided to just saddle
up and be like, hey, can we please talk?
Speaker 7 (08:38):
It had to be done.
Speaker 4 (08:39):
Yeah, And it's like once we started talking to each
other again, it was like like now, like I totally
realized why I was attracted to this person and why
I had a connection with this person. And a piece
of it said and a piece of it is very
very real.
Speaker 5 (08:56):
Yeah, yeah, I can see how Like in paradise it
is such a fixed environment where you don't have any
of the outside noise to get in the way.
Speaker 7 (09:08):
Yep.
Speaker 5 (09:09):
So like in a perfect world, you have paradise to
build that foundation in the relationship and then afterwards you
take it outside and then you allow it to grow
even more in.
Speaker 3 (09:21):
The real world.
Speaker 1 (09:22):
Right.
Speaker 5 (09:22):
But I guess in our circumstance, it was just the
different schedules his career, my career. It was just all
so much, and then on top of that the long
distance where it just was not the right environment for
our relationship to grow.
Speaker 2 (09:40):
Sure, okay, I have to put you on to these
leggings I've been obsessed with lately. They're from this brand
called Tona, and get this, the designer behind them also
created Lulu Lemon, and so they know what they're doing.
(10:02):
These leggings are next level think butterysoft, super flattering and
very comfortable, but they're also very supportive in the right places.
So I started wearing them when the kids and I
go out to play, and now I'm basically living in
them twenty four seven. And here's what makes them even better.
With every payer you buy it helps fund a mental
(10:26):
health counseling session for a teen in need. Isn't that
so awesome? Tona is on a mission to end teen
suicide and self harm, which we think is so important
and so incredible of them, So we partnered with Tona
to give you twenty percent off your order and free shipping.
So head to tonaactive dot com that is tnaactive dot

(11:15):
awaits at Wetzels dot com. You know, I mean, and
there's something that you said too, Like, you guys were
in Paradise for a couple of weeks there and it
wasn't the easiest.
Speaker 3 (11:26):
Time for Brian, right.
Speaker 1 (11:28):
I mean, every time you turned around, you know you're
kind of stepping into it a little bit, not necessarily
as a viewer. So you were doing the right thing
sometimes and you're getting grief for it, you know, And
so in those circumstances that probably made it hard for
you guys too, because there's like conflict and you're hearing
about it and he's feeling attacked, I'm sure at times,
and it's like, what the hell can I I can't
(11:49):
do anything right? You know, And granted I get it,
there can be personalities that you'll come into play, but
now having some time to look back on it and
spending time like you are here where it's sort of
a little lighter, not as aggressive. Five hundred grand's not
up for grabs, you know, there's not people getting engaged
all over the place. I mean, I feel like I
(12:09):
sense that there's a connection here. I'm just saying I
feel like, perhaps, you know Detroits in New York.
Speaker 3 (12:16):
I did that. I did that for three years with
a relationship.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
And I'm just gonna say, you know, it ended up
working out all right, you know, And then I did
you tried to La even worse.
Speaker 7 (12:27):
It's terrible.
Speaker 5 (12:28):
Yes, when it's the right person, you have those feelings
for them, you will do anything to make it work.
Speaker 1 (12:36):
Yeah, but sometimes you got to go through challenges to
get to the other side to realize that right person
might be right under your nose. I'm just saying, Okay,
enough about my pontificating here.
Speaker 3 (12:47):
So I thought it was interesting tonight when we were
in the.
Speaker 1 (12:52):
Earlier interviews and stuff where Kathy where Brian you you
got a little fired up a cat right, and you said, uh,
you know, you basically said to her, You're like, you know, well,
if it wasn't about the money, why'd you vote us off? Right?
And I thought it was really interesting because I love
Kathy and Keith like I adore them. I've done a
ton of events with them, interviewed them both a billion times,
(13:16):
and I loved Kathy's kind of she has like a maternal,
you know, nurturing thing for you. And it was interesting
cause I asked her earlier, I said, you know, well
that when that popped up, you know, what was that
all about? Because we didn't really see that on camera,
you know, And she even said she's like, She's like, well,
I thought that if they got out of that environment
that they might be able to make it work. She's like,
(13:36):
because I did like certain things about their relationship. And
so when you got Kathy's vote of confidence, I mean,
you know, you got another.
Speaker 7 (13:44):
Stuff in there.
Speaker 1 (13:44):
But I think it's really sweet that you guys see
and you guys gave each other a big hug out there,
and like, we're so excited. She was crying when she
saw you. I mean, there's something special for you too
as a friend.
Speaker 3 (13:53):
Isn't there.
Speaker 5 (13:54):
Yeah, when we keep in touch, we talk all the time,
even during that time in Paradise when all this was happening,
Like she was telling me way before the voting, And
I'm not sure. I don't know if I've shared all
of this with you during that time there, but I was.
I would go to her all the time, and I
would vent to her.
Speaker 6 (14:14):
I would ask for advice.
Speaker 5 (14:16):
She knew I wasn't doing well, and I told her too,
I mean me personally, I didn't sign up for this paradise.
I sign up for the old paradise. I wanted that
time alone on the beach, at the possible engagement at
the end. And so now with the money mixed in
and the stress of voting, I couldn't take it. I
really couldn't do it anymore. And I told her, I'm like,
(14:37):
I'm not here for the money. I love the challenges.
The challenges I thought were so good for us because
we worked together, and it just also like again I
kept saying, it shed all these layers for us.
Speaker 3 (14:50):
And I wanted you to be a good team too.
You know you really did.
Speaker 5 (14:54):
It was so it was so funny. The challenge is
something the walkie talkie want.
Speaker 6 (14:58):
I thought that was so hilarious.
Speaker 7 (15:01):
We were very patient with each other.
Speaker 6 (15:02):
We're very patient.
Speaker 3 (15:03):
Well, I heard working half the time, and we caught
onto that.
Speaker 6 (15:08):
Quick, and so I would be I would the whole
Bangal thing. I was like, Bengal be as in, boy.
Speaker 4 (15:12):
Bengal, what are you talking about?
Speaker 7 (15:23):
I got it?
Speaker 3 (15:24):
Okay, yeah, Bangel, Okay, so you learned something new.
Speaker 5 (15:27):
It was hilarious and like I totally forgot that that
challenge was timed.
Speaker 6 (15:30):
And then they're like, okay, times up.
Speaker 5 (15:31):
I'm like, oh we were times Like I totally it
was just so much fun.
Speaker 7 (15:34):
We did have so much fun.
Speaker 5 (15:37):
So I wish Paradise, the whole promise of it. I
wish it changed. I wish it was just the challenges
to bring us closer and you know, to overcome obstacles
together instead of the whole voting.
Speaker 6 (15:49):
The voting that that's stress. That was just horrible.
Speaker 5 (15:52):
And but yeah, I told all that to Kathy, and
I told her that like, I can't take it.
Speaker 6 (15:58):
I can't do it anymore. I don't want the money.
Speaker 5 (15:59):
And but that was again there's other couples that are
there for the money, and they are there for all
of that. So she told me, she was like, you know,
like I see something between you guys, and this environment
here might break you.
Speaker 1 (16:12):
It s could be caustic, right, I mean, some of
those moments can like fuse people together and some of
them can split them apart. It might have nothing to
do with what you could have outside of that environment.
You know, it's just saying, guys, just one more time
and then and the thing on the head there, So
to that point, you know, when you're talking about the voting.
I remember this episode or the scene of the episode,
(16:33):
which I thought was hysterical by the way, when Sean
is out there throwing together the Parliament paradise and it
looked like Brian, it looked like you were from like
me to Easton like five feet away, and he's like,
so here's a deal. We're going to vote off Brian
Frieze and You're like, I'm like, does he not see
him there? But the way that was shot, I'm like what.
Speaker 6 (16:56):
And I'm like, whoa, no, no, yeah.
Speaker 3 (16:58):
I mean it was kind of shot sucking.
Speaker 1 (17:00):
How close he you seemed like you were like it
looked like you were totally listening in.
Speaker 7 (17:04):
I was from Oh God.
Speaker 3 (17:07):
So it wasn't as it was as bad as I
thought it.
Speaker 5 (17:10):
A few times. It wasn't just that scene. It happened
a few times with him.
Speaker 7 (17:14):
Come take a walk with me.
Speaker 6 (17:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (17:16):
No, I loved it.
Speaker 4 (17:16):
I loved him talking to him and he's just lying
to my face and I'm like, I love it.
Speaker 3 (17:20):
They're flashing back.
Speaker 4 (17:21):
He's like, no, yeah, Brian, Yeah, not much I could
really do about it.
Speaker 1 (17:28):
Well, you know, we talked about that a little bit
tonight too. I think, you know, Parsa, you could tell
that you were you. You had some things you wanted
to say tonight, and you said them without creating more conflict,
which I think is a pretty interesting, remarkable trait. Right.
It's like, and I think also Brian, you in particular, Uh,
(17:51):
there were a couple of moments where I'm sure you
wanted to fly off the handle, and you know, I mean,
come on, you're in New Yorker, buddy, New Yorkers in
Detroiter's were we're not that far apart, but action times
on things, and but you held it back too, And
I'm interested if if that was something that you liked
seeing in him when he you know, because I'm sure
there were some buttons that you knew were being pressed
(18:11):
by things. Some people were saying he didn't take the bait,
which you know can happen. Was that something that you
found to be a redeeming quality because I know, like
you guys said, you didn't talk for like a month
and then you came in here and reconnect.
Speaker 6 (18:23):
Yeah. Well he did that a lot too. During our
time on the show.
Speaker 5 (18:26):
There were moments where he would get really upset and
he would just like hurl his lip.
Speaker 1 (18:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (18:32):
I could hear him.
Speaker 3 (18:33):
Swallow and then his tongue.
Speaker 5 (18:35):
Yeah, And I could tell, like we would talk about it,
you know, things that bothered him. And but yeah, I've
always acknowledged that and praised him for you know, that composure,
And yeah, you did it again today, and you know
it's you brought up you know, like avoiding conflict. It's
something that it's sad that in today's world, it's like
(18:58):
we avoid bringing up something that bothers us because we
do not want the conflict right, and when we feel
this need to, it's like, okay, I have to move
on from this. I have to bring it up. All
that it does is just create more complex.
Speaker 1 (19:12):
Yeah, make sure the villain all of a sudden, Yes
you said that tonight. Yeah, yeah, I thought that was
really eloquent said.
Speaker 6 (19:18):
During the show like I did.
Speaker 5 (19:19):
I had, you know, some moments where I wanted to
speak up so much, like it was killing me. But
then I'm like, well then I'm just going to be
made at the aggressor, so why even speak up? Like
I'm capable of brushing things under the rug and moving on,
so why why don't I just do that?
Speaker 2 (19:34):
Then?
Speaker 1 (19:35):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (19:35):
And then in the end though.
Speaker 5 (19:37):
When I start seeing how things are played back, then
it's like, Okay, I just silenced myself to keep peace.
Speaker 6 (19:42):
Is that worth it?
Speaker 1 (19:43):
Is? That is?
Speaker 3 (19:45):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (19:45):
Is that worth it?
Speaker 3 (19:46):
Especially if you're carrying it with you.
Speaker 1 (19:47):
So it's like, you know, when you have to watch
the show back and you see how it's edited, and
you know, there's, like I always used to say, when
people be like, oh, well you.
Speaker 3 (19:54):
Got a good at it.
Speaker 1 (19:54):
That's why everyone you know thinks you're so nice, I'm like, well,
if I didn't say stuff, they couldn't use it.
Speaker 7 (19:59):
Right.
Speaker 3 (19:59):
It wasn't that I I didn't think it. It's just
I didn't say it, you know.
Speaker 1 (20:03):
And so there's a certain part of that I'm sure
plays into that, especially on a show like this that,
let's be honest, this this, this, this new format of
Veteran in Paradise was put together I think to create
more tension. Yeah right, I mean, you know who we
cann't write it does when you introduce money, you introduce
these contests that you know, and then and then you're
in a situation where it's like, all of a sudden
you're looking at each other like, oh my god, do
(20:25):
I want the money? Do I want this person?
Speaker 3 (20:26):
I don't know?
Speaker 1 (20:27):
And there's there's that element that I think is pretty fascinating.
Speaker 3 (20:30):
So yeah, I think there's a.
Speaker 1 (20:31):
Lot to think about there. But I thought you guys
handled yourself very well.
Speaker 3 (20:35):
It was my point. You're very welcome with pink Berry.
Speaker 1 (20:44):

the tweet. Let's talk about the tweet, right. I know
it's probably you're sick of talking about it, but the
tweet that started World War iree, it seemed out there
tonight for the conversation when about the whole you bringing
(21:28):
up to Zoe the whole thing or the Bailey rather
sort you brought up to Bailey what Jeremy had said
about Susie, right, and that became kind of a big thing.
And then it seemed like there was a lot of
lobbing back and forth, and to that point, Brian didn't
say a word about it. You sat there tonight like silent,
while the other two parties were kind of going at it.
Speaker 3 (21:49):
Why was that?
Speaker 4 (21:50):
So It's like when something like that occurs, it's like,
let them speak up first, digest it, and then you
could respond. Yeah, And I just watched them where Bailey
went after Alex and then she went after Andrew, and
then Kat got involved, and it's like, okay, now you
see how they're getting involved. It's funny because when we're
at the Row ceremony, none of you people were even
(22:12):
spoken about the number one target, and she was my
number one attorney defending me and my partner defending me
throughout the and that's why then I spoke up afterwards
and I'm like, it's interesting how this energy has now
shifted after viewership has watched this back and shown you
all that you guys.
Speaker 7 (22:29):
Are wrong, right, Yeah, and now you.
Speaker 4 (22:31):
Guys are pointing fingers at people that Kat said twenty
four hours. You guys have known this for ten, twelve,
fourteen days. What was going on? Yeah, and no one
spoke up about it, and now you're all turning on
each other in front of us right now at the reunion.
Speaker 7 (22:44):
I'm just gonna sit back and watch And I was
literally didn't joke.
Speaker 4 (22:47):
I was like, I'm just gonna sit back and watch
this and not say a word but I'm gonna chime
in afterwards and be like where was this energy then?
When I became target number one and her and I
were like literally on the chopping block for like three
ceremonies in a row after and it's like, oh, we
can't trust them, we can't trust them.
Speaker 7 (23:02):
Trust me about what? Like what do you guys have
to hide? Like there's you know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (23:06):
Like I'm the ones interesting, right, It was.
Speaker 4 (23:09):
Like I'm not a snitch around a rat like whatever
you want to call it, Like, I'm Bailey is like
an amazing person. She's the most well rounded, probably the
most well rounded individual out of our entire group. I
think a lot of people would say that about her.
So I just the energy shift.
Speaker 7 (23:25):
I just had to watch it.
Speaker 3 (23:26):
Yeah, it was. It was interesting to watch talking what's
going on? He was like public good.
Speaker 7 (23:34):
To watch because I'm like, I don't even think I've
ever been.
Speaker 4 (23:38):
In a more intense moment that Rose ceremony because I
walked into it thinking was like, you know, something might
happen tonight, like because of what I said. But it
was intense, like Andrew attacking me, Spencer attacked me them,
like judging our relationship without contact. Even Spencer I mentioned it, like,
you know, it's twelve things, twelve roomors said, Oh day,
I don't know which one's true. Well, that night you
(23:58):
knew every single one which was true, which was not true,
And he was just assuming everything even when he was
saying and portraying today he was guilty of in that
moment during that row ceremony, which he did kind of
pay homage and like respect me. Later he's like, listen,
takes so much heat that night.
Speaker 1 (24:13):
Idea.
Speaker 7 (24:14):
Yeah, that like I got to give you a lot
of respect.
Speaker 3 (24:16):
You never got defensive, right, and.
Speaker 1 (24:19):
That's that's not an easy thing to do, right. I
mean I get defensive about everything. I mean, looking at me,
call me fat.
Speaker 3 (24:27):
Yeah, no, I thought.
Speaker 1 (24:27):
I thought it's gotta be hard because I've had a
situation in my life too where you're expected to have
a bro code, right, And it's like, why if by
bro does something dumb and it's going to hurt someone,
I'm supposed to somehow protect him so this person gets hurt.
I don't.
Speaker 3 (24:45):
I don't necessarily agree with that, you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (24:47):
So I think there's a certain line that can happen
where you're going to be like, you know, I'm not
sure how I feel about that, and I think you
handled that well. So all right, last question saw in
the VIP lounge, I didn't even know what we were
talking about tonight until that came up. And the favorite
color thing, which I thought was really kind of funny
that you you chose magenta. Is it show that in
(25:15):
retrospect now it looked like you you kind of recognized
that you handled that situation poorly for sure?
Speaker 3 (25:22):
Did that mean anything to you, Teresa?
Speaker 1 (25:25):
Well?
Speaker 6 (25:25):
He also he recognized it that night.
Speaker 5 (25:27):
Later that night too, we talked about it. It was
hours later, like he I can't I don't know even
know if I was like in the kitchen in the suite,
he like walked in, he was like, look, I'm really
sorry about all that, and he explained I knew like
he was hot, tired, hungry, and.
Speaker 3 (25:45):
Like you said, you were all hot, tired and hungry.
Speaker 5 (25:47):
Yeah, no, I know, it was more I understood where
it came from. Yeah, And it was more my point
of it was exactly that, like we all were, but
like I adapted to the situation and I knew if
I just smiled and like, you know, gave the.
Speaker 6 (26:04):
Producers that last shot.
Speaker 5 (26:05):
That's all they want, that lash out of us walking
in and like, you know, talking about how excited we
are to have this night together. I knew then that's done,
they're gone, and we have the whole night to just
enjoy what we worked hard for to win. Yeah, and yeah,
it was just we talked about it. It was just unfortunate
that like in that moment in the beginning, he just
(26:27):
had a hard time just like adjusting.
Speaker 7 (26:30):
I felt a little short.
Speaker 3 (26:31):
Yeah, yeah, and it can happen, right, Yeah, and it does.
Speaker 5 (26:34):
And that's what I was saying too, like when we
brought it up again, I don't want one low moment
to be something that's so big that labels him. Sure,
you know, it's like we all have moments like that,
you know. And it's again, it was just unfortunate that
it happened during that time. But I don't think that,
you know, after producers left, the cameras left, like that
(26:56):
wasn't the rest of our night, right, it wasn't. And
so it's yeah, it was just like you know, like
we're all good. It's probably gonna happen again one day
in the future too. It's like, you know, you catch
them at the wrong time when they're hungry and hot
and irritated, you know, like we're not perfect. It's going
to happen. But he recognized it that night and we
(27:17):
talked about it.
Speaker 1 (27:19):
Okay, I was lying, I have one more question. Actually
I have two more so and then then we have
to wrap it up. I know we're running out of it.
We're running out of tape apparently. So was this your
first time seeing each other since you guys broke up?
Speaker 3 (27:32):
First of all. Secondly, how are you guys feeling right now?
Speaker 1 (27:36):
Like cause I feel I don't know if I'm the
only one I feel the love in the room.
Speaker 3 (27:42):
I do I feel it.
Speaker 7 (27:43):
I just do.
Speaker 3 (27:44):
I like you guys together, and I.
Speaker 1 (27:45):
Think that, you know, sometimes you need that balance of
he can be a hothead. Yeah he needs somebody like
you to keep him kind of in check, and then
maybe she can get emotional or maybe actually would probably
be maybe you might be too nice sometimes I'm sort
of seeing that because I weedy traders have that same vibe.
Speaker 3 (28:02):
So we need this guy.
Speaker 1 (28:03):
To come in and kind of, you know, be like,
let's go, let's move it along. I don't know, I'm
just putting out there, But is this the first time
you guys saw e show us as a breakup and
what are you?
Speaker 3 (28:10):
Where are your heads right now?
Speaker 5 (28:12):
So in like right after we got back from Paradise,
I went to New York and saw him and it
was nice. It was a good weekend. But then it
was like that was it. We went back to work
and like then yeah, you know, like his work schedule again,
like he.
Speaker 6 (28:31):
Just was just not available.
Speaker 5 (28:34):
And again I'm not holding that against him at all,
Like this is like we're going to have times in
our lives where our career is just it has to
be number one priority, sure, and it it just was tough.
Speaker 1 (28:46):
And so the timing was tough, right, you come off
the show where you want to be together more. But
he's also got to bury himself in this thing. He's
thrown everything he's got into his.
Speaker 4 (28:55):
Career literally just opened. I came back and we just
open the doors.
Speaker 3 (29:01):
Brian, where's your head? Like where's your where are you?
Where are you at right now with this relationship? Better
not be what your hat says.
Speaker 4 (29:12):
This is just fun that like the season's over and
you know it's it's lighthearted. Every all of us cast,
We all love each other. As deep as it may seem,
it's not that deep. And I think she's an amazing
person and she's a lot of fun to be with,
a lot of fun to talk to, and she's super supportive.
Speaker 7 (29:33):
And it's.
Speaker 1 (29:36):
You know, it's is the door open, is all I
guess look at each other.
Speaker 7 (29:40):
It's like.
Speaker 4 (29:43):
Well, and it's like almost like where we were in
Paradise again.
Speaker 3 (29:49):
I like that.
Speaker 7 (29:50):
I think I think it's interesting.
Speaker 3 (29:52):
I think I might buy you, guys from Margarita's tonight's
expense to count here at my heart.
Speaker 1 (29:58):
I don't know if you guys do that. I don't
know if I even if they even know I have
an expens account. I'm gonna use MYHR.
Speaker 3 (30:03):
Credit card tonight.
Speaker 1 (30:04):
All right, you guys, Well, I happen to really like
the two of you. I think that I I don't
know why I feel a kinship with Prisa because we're detroiter's.
I did have a family member from Massapequal Park, so
I know Long Island. But I wish you too so well,
and I hope that this could potentially turn back into
(30:25):
something for you guys. But thank you for coming on
Almost Famous podcast with us. Thanks for sharing your lives, listen,
and where things are. I wish you both the absolute best,
and I'm gonna definitely come out to your restaurant.
Speaker 3 (30:34):
And I don't expect to be fully comped. Yeah, I
do expect at least I'm our teamier tip. All Right,
you guys, thank you so much. You have a great
rest of your night.
