Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
with iHeartRadio.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Hey, guys, welcome to the Almost Famous Headlines Today. Trista
is here with me and we're going to be breaking
down Bachelor headlines.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
And if you.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
Haven't already, just a reminder to go and vote in
the Almost Famous Podcast Awards yet you. Trista and I
both nominated. I think I am most like expressionful.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
I think I just made up that word. I have
the most expressed face.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
I know justin Glaize is definitely going to beat me
out of that category.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
It's really fun categories, guys.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
It's like who's your favorite lead, who is your favorite villain?

Speaker 3 (00:44):
Most memorable moment stuff. It's really great.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
If you're wondering how to vote, you got to go
to our socials and it will teach you exactly how
to cast that thing. All right, Trisa, let's get into
headline number one. It seems as if Lin Bristo is
soft launching her relationship with Zach Clark, Like you and
I totally have no idea what's going on?

Speaker 3 (01:07):
No, I have no idea.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
You guys know just went on a trip together, and
I know that you didn't talk about her love life
at all.

Speaker 4 (01:16):
No, not at all. We don't talk about love life
or any We didn't talk really about life at all.
We just looked at the beautiful ocean.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
That was her fortieth birthday party, right.

Speaker 4 (01:29):
Yes, well one of them. I feel like she was.
She celebrated her fortieth a few times. But she planned
this trip to Mexico with like her Canadian besties and
Kat from Nashville and Whitney, who I freaking love. We
were roomies and I just love her. Yeah, but yeah,

(01:51):
we got to go to Cabo and it was so
much fun. I just love myself some Caitlin. And yeah,
I'm not spilling any today about what we talked about,
but yeah, go on, you go, Okay, fine.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
So supposedly they were taking a very long, thirteen hour
road trip together where she sat in the passenger seat
and she actually passenger princess, napping, snacking and singing the
whole time.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
She was posting along the way, and.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
People feel like the arm that was present in the
driver's seat look a lot looks a lot like Zach's arm,
And they said that there's also like some people catching
a voice in the background sounds like Zach's voice. Another
person said, I know like a person that comment said,
I know that voice, I know it anywhere.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
And I think there was a watch too, wasn't there
a watch situation?

Speaker 2 (02:44):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (02:45):
I matched together?

Speaker 4 (02:48):
Yeah, like he there was a watch in a picture
of hers and they matched it. I mean, please, a
billion guys wear the same kind of watch, so you
know it is what it is. But yeah, I mean
I'm happy for her regardless of what's happening, because she
is very happy right now. And I am totally a

(03:11):
kind of person that would play detective and be like, hmmm,
is he wearing you know, a watch that looks like
something that he just posted. I would totally be the
detective person if I if I didn't know what was
going on. So I totally get it. I get why
people are interested in want to figure that out, but

(03:32):
I'll just leave it at I'm really happy for Kaitlin.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
I know that when Caitlin broke up with Jason that
her plan was kind of to never put another relationship
online until there was a wedding ring on her fingers.
He was like, not an engagement ring, ah, wedding ring.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
So we'll see if she sticks with that.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
But this was a little bit of a tease, a
jump in what we would like to think is the
right direction, and as far as relationship growth goes, not
as far as you know posting on Instagram.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
Yeah right, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
She seems very comfortable if this is in fact him
and if if they're in fact together or whatnot. Okay,
So then Daisy Kent reveals unexpected details about her life
living with her boyfriend Thor, which.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
I still can't get over.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
It's like a year and a half later that she's
dating a guy named Thor. If you guys don't know,
she and Thor had a kind of previous relationship back
in college and then they rekindled things after things didn't
work out with Joey on his season as a Bachelor.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
They moved to Las Vegas.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
They actually built the home together in Las Vegas, and
she was recently on Casual Chaos, which is Theresa Judice's
daughter's podcast, Gas Judaice, and she revealed that she and
Thor have separate toilets. That's the way they they designed
the house. I think this is a fantastic idea. She was,
we have a joined bathroom, but we have our own

(05:02):
sinks ones on my side, was on his side and
they face each other. There's a bath in the middle,
and then we have supper toilets, which I like. She
said that like they were joking that they had never
seen anything like this, but that they're like the setup,
and I'm like, duh, you like this setup? How nice
is that? That's the ideal situation. Actually, Jared's a tub guy.

(05:24):
So back before we had kids, I was like obsessed
with designing our house. I definitely thought like it was
time to build off forever home. And then you have
a kid and you're like, whatever we'll do right now, whatever.
I will live in the fineness, happiness, contentness until like
they're in upper elementary school, right and then I can

(05:44):
be a moment to think about this, decorate it and
not get destroyed.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
Glad it actually didn't happen. But my dream situation was.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
To have our bedroom and then to have two bathrooms
coming off the main bedroom.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
I wanted whole.

Speaker 2 (06:01):
Separate bedrooms because Jared's a tub guy, and I was like,
I want to take a bath without having his grime
and all his little body hairs on the side of
the dub once it drains out.

Speaker 3 (06:17):
That's so true.

Speaker 4 (06:18):
Neither of us are really big bath people. But I
totally get that because Blakesley will use our bathtub every
now and then, and yes, the grime that's left in there,
and even if it's just from the bubbles or whatever,
it's just kind of grue. So yeah, I totally get that. Yeah,
but I love that they. You know, we had in

(06:38):
our house and Veil, we had separate closets, and I
will always if there's a house that has separate closets
and it's in our budget, that's the house I want.
You know, that's a priority. We share a closet now
and it's big enough for us to share it. But
the bathroom situation, I've never really thought about separate bathrooms. Clearly,

(07:00):
separate sinks are a necessity if if that's something that's
in your budget, Like, oh, it's a game changer. I
feel like for any relationship, if you can have a
separate sink, it will save your marriage.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
Yeah, that's a big one. So that's where you start.
And then I would say step number two, separate toilets
is pretty nice, and step number three whole separate.

Speaker 3 (07:24):
So Daisy, we understand you. This is not weird.

Speaker 4 (07:27):
And I actually have to say that. We were just
in Tahoe together her Daisy was there for pickleball tournament,
which we missed you at. But yeah, so we were
talking about how she wants to write another children's book,
possibly in the future, and I was like, oh, you
need to put Thor in the book, like maybe make

(07:50):
him like a little you're, like pet dog or something.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (07:58):
I was like, you even put Thor, But yeah, you're
write that name Thor. It's so interesting to me. I know,
I don't know where.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
It is because he doesn't look like a Thor either,
because you just obviously imagine Chris Hemsworth.

Speaker 4 (08:10):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
Yeah, so Lauren Lyondyke she had a pajama baby shower. Well,
how about your first thought about a baby shower for
your fourth kid. My thought, I'm pretty much assuming here
that what happened was she they had a asex me,
like they biologically said, we're closing the door on this.

(08:35):
So if they did it to his body, they definitely
did it to the stuff in the house, so they
probably got rid of everything.

Speaker 4 (08:43):
And so right, yeah, well I think also, you know,
when you're having a baby shower or wedding shower, it's
like a way to get started with all the basics
and for people to shower you and spoil you and
all of that stuff. And it doesn't seem like Ari
and Lauren are are struggling financially. Yeah, so that would

(09:08):
be the thing that I feel like people would have
the biggest problem with is really, you're having a baby shower.
But I feel like, more so baby showers are just
a way to get together with your girlfriends or your
family or whatever and celebrate, you know, a new baby
is coming. It's not like I don't think that Lauren
was probably like here is my wish list, get me

(09:29):
all of these.

Speaker 2 (09:30):
Things between brand partnerships, brand gifting, whatever they have in
the house from the kids. Like I'm sure that it
probably said something like no gifts or like bring a book.
That's like a lot of things for a sprinkle is
bring a book, or like bring a diaper or something
like that.

Speaker 4 (09:47):
And I love that the whole Ari I was following
along with his the Hatcheler mansion, the whole chicken coop
that he made he made from scratch, Like it's actually
really satisfying to watch those videos, like how he does
like a time lapse of like how he built the

(10:08):
whatever he's building at the time. He is really becoming
very handy, and I loved seeing him create that like
little backdrop for the for the shower too. It's it's
kind of amazing that he's got that talent.

Speaker 3 (10:22):
Sometimes I'm like Ari, like, wow, do you do all this?

Speaker 2 (10:25):
How are you like a master reeltor you're selling multimillion
dollar houses, you have your social media influencer life, you
know work, Yeah, she's doing that. You have three kids
with the four on the way, and then you're just
in your spare time making Hatchler mansions for the chickens.

Speaker 4 (10:44):
They have to have a nanny.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
Well, their kids are in school now.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
That's what they told us when we were like when
they were trying to get pregnant again and we're like.

Speaker 3 (10:54):
Really like, how like we are so like we can't
do more than two? How could you do full?

Speaker 2 (11:00):
And they were like, well, that's because of where you
guys are right now. Because when your kids are like
three and a half plus and they're in school like
for a lot of the day, then you realize that,
like you're look, you have so much more time than
you had had for the past like three four years,
And that's when you're gonna have like the sadness.

Speaker 3 (11:20):
I'm like, okay, well we'll see. I'm not there yet.

Speaker 4 (11:22):
Oh girlfriend, the sadness. I just uh, I just took
my last first picture of Max. It was his first
day of senior year. Oh my god, today, like I
mean day today. Yeah, it was their first day of school.

Speaker 3 (11:39):
Do you have one from every first day of school?

Speaker 4 (11:43):
I literally did that earlier. I went back and I
lost a bunch of pictures because I had like a
what do you call it, a hard drive where he's
or burnt up or whatever. So I lost a crap
ton of pictures, which was very sad. But I do
have some very devastating, like tens of thousands of pictures.

(12:07):
I try not to think about it, but anyway, yes,
I went through. I went through pictures and I found
I'm not going to post this on but I'm just
going to show you because this was his very first
day of preschool. Ryan's walking him to preschool. How tiny

(12:28):
he is. I'm literally like, you have to use this
like when we say goodbye to him, to when he
goes to college or whatever he does.

Speaker 3 (12:36):
After school, Like that's my baby.

Speaker 2 (12:40):
Anyway, I can't believe it goes very yes, so, I
mean Jared n I'm married six years now. Dawson's even
just saying Dawson's three and a half, which means I
was pregnant with him four years ago. It's like, everything's crazy.

(13:05):
I wanted to talk more about Ari though in his building.
So yeah, he's been showing off a lot of his
handyman skills on social lately, and we.

Speaker 3 (13:12):
Just can't help her wonder that maybe he's trying.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
To get the attention of HGTV for the new Bachelor
mansion renovation show.

Speaker 3 (13:21):
What's your take?

Speaker 4 (13:22):
Yeah, duh, I mean it's a smart move. I love
that whole Stu. I mean Ryan and I think this
is a little known fact. We did a show for
HGTV called Rocky Mountain Reno. It was a it was
just a pilot. They didn't pick it up. But I
love that whole space. It is so fun. I'm always

(13:44):
watching Jojo and Jordan's videos. She just bought this new
like house to you know, renovate and put on the
market to rent, and I want to be her, Like,
I want to do that so badly. It seems so fun,
even though so gross at the same time. But so fun.

Speaker 2 (14:02):
See I think that Jojo and Jordan would be the
most obvious pick for that because they're the most modern
relevant Bachelor couple. That that's where she that's where she started.
That was her first job, so she was doing what
she was on Ben's season. So yeah, I think that.
But they're so busy. Oh Tyler, I think Tyler. Tyler

(14:24):
is going to announce that he has a new show
with Ryan see her. You know Ryan from Million Dollar Listing. Yeah,
I'm pretty sure Tyler is going to be on a
million dollar Listing type show.

Speaker 3 (14:36):
That's I think you batate GP TV for him. What
would you do it? Would you do it?

Speaker 4 (14:44):
Oh my gosh, hell yes, sign me up.

Speaker 3 (14:46):
I would.

Speaker 4 (14:47):
I would do it in a heartbeat. Without the interior design, well,
I mean it will. It would depend on schedule because
you know, the kids and whatever and Ryan and I
can't just leave my dog. Yeah, but if no one's
watching him, But yes, I would love that. I love

(15:07):
renovation shows so much fun, and to renovate the Bachelor
mansion that is iconic and epic and will live in
history for all time, So I would love to be
part of it. Pardon me, I'm having a having a
hot flash.

Speaker 3 (15:23):
Oh great, that's hot flash.

Speaker 4 (15:25):
Oh yeah, so fun.

Speaker 2 (15:26):
Our first bachelorette is having hot flashes.

Speaker 3 (15:29):
So time goes by fast.

Speaker 2 (15:35):
I always like to remind myself of this terrifying fact
that I went to a Jonah. My first Jonah's brother's
consulort was in two thousand and eight, which means that
it was I'm really good at math, like seventeen years ago,
you know, sixteen seventeen years ago.

Speaker 4 (15:50):
Uouanteen because my son was born in two thousand and seven.

Speaker 3 (15:53):
Okay, it's twenty twenty five, so Jesus Christ.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
So my first jone is probably it was eighteen years ago,
and that met in eighteen years from now, when I am.

Speaker 3 (16:08):
Fifty sucking five. Yeah, I'll be through menopause.

Speaker 2 (16:14):
So like the amount of time from my first show
on the PROD concert too, I think that why you know.

Speaker 3 (16:19):
Yeah what?

Speaker 4 (16:20):
Oh yes, girl, Oh yeah, I'm fifty two right now,
so I right in there.

Speaker 3 (16:24):
Oh yeah, yea. It's all right, everybody, don't make fun
of my math. I know that my numbers are a
little off there.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
I'm very very tired, guys, and that's where I'm going
to leave it.

Speaker 4 (16:36):
Give yourself some Grace.

Speaker 3 (16:37):
Yeah, moving moving on.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
Sam McKinley and Ali Joe Hanks. You guys know them
from the past two seasons of The Bachelor and Bachelorette,
and you know both of them from this season of Paradise. Well,
they're revealing now if they'd ever talked before going on Paradise.
Now you may not remember this little nuance, but while
they were both on this season, they never overlapped in time,

(17:04):
so they missed each other by one week, just days really,
and now they are dating in real life. Their like
launch posts was saying that they put it into their
own hands. Sometimes you had to put into your own hands,
and they are admitting that. He she reached out to
him a couple months ago during Grant seasons airing, and

(17:25):
she messaged him and said, I actually just got compared
to you on the show, like right after the episode,
after the basketball date, and we started chatting for a
little bit. And then a couple months later I posted
a photo and he DMed me and then we started
talking about Paradise. We both didn't know if we were
going to go or not. And then he answered me

(17:46):
and I stopped answering his messages.

Speaker 3 (17:49):
Good job, good job.

Speaker 2 (17:50):
She says that if they both went that he would
be someone that she wanted to meet in real life
and explore relationship in paradise, So she did not want
to keep the conversation going via DM and get all
those questions on the beach. She wanted to happen. It
had to happen organically. Obviously that did not happen, But
they were gonna make stuff happen themselves, and they didn't

(18:11):
need TV. They didn't need TV to book a plane ticket,
That's what he said. And once he found out that
she wasn't there and he was going home, he was like,
all right, that's fine. And then they started messaging each
other again and got a phone call, got a number,
before you know it, got on a flight.

Speaker 3 (18:33):
That's it. Pretty love it? Yeah, why not?

Speaker 4 (18:37):
Like I mean, just just the idea of pat of
Paradise and them going to Paradise. I think probably sparked
the conversation even more, that made maybe had already started
for them, So why not, like, you know, go for it.
Even though they're a long distance, they're they're still young.
I think they're a really cute couple, and I think

(19:00):
it's great, you know, super cute I think that. Did
I talk about this with you, because I know Jade
came up with the idea. I'm not sure if we
talked about it, but she said that it would be
a good idea if Paradise like kind of had everybody
there at once, yes, where there was no entrances, because
then like everybody could see, hey, of this group, will

(19:20):
there ever be anyone for me?

Speaker 3 (19:22):
And it could create more couples.

Speaker 4 (19:24):
I think it'd be great. Like, I don't I get
that bringing people in.

Speaker 3 (19:29):
Is like exciting.

Speaker 4 (19:31):
Yeah, like people are like who's coming, and it's the
what who knows? And what ifs and all of that.
But I do think it would be awesome to have
everyone there at the same time. They'd still have a
ton of content. You know, it might not be as
exciting with the arrivals, but you could still make it
exciting somehow. I don't know. Yeah, I think I think

(19:52):
that would be fair. You know, so if you're going
to be on Paradise, then you have the chance to
meet all of these people. And I have a question
for you. Were there less people this season?

Speaker 2 (20:06):
Yeah, they were like significantly less people because of the
Goldens being there.

Speaker 4 (20:10):
Okay, that's what I was wondering.

Speaker 2 (20:12):
Yeah, they also usually bring people in a little bit
longer into the season. But I think because they wanted
to do the competition, they didn't. Yeah, right, they did
without that, which makes sense and is good because those
people that always come in the past the last couple
of weeks, they never have a chance anyway. So I
think that because they always get the complaint of why
is there even people coming in now there's not a

(20:32):
chance for them, They're like, all right, well, we'll do
without that. In sad news, I'm so sorry.

Speaker 3 (20:40):
I feel so bad for them.

Speaker 2 (20:42):
Nick and Natalie have revealed came out today on their
episode of Vile Off Files that she is currently going
through her third miscarriage this year. He said, as you
can see, Natalie is not with us. There's no easy
way to talk about it. Sadly, Natalie experienced another miscarriage.

(21:03):
It's her third this year or third this year, and
there's really no way good of saying it, like it
just sucks, and she's obviously at home resting and healing
it both emotionally and physically, and it's just.

Speaker 3 (21:16):
It's so sad. I feel awful for them.

Speaker 2 (21:19):
He said that it's a bit of a scary time
for him and Natalie because they experienced the previous two
miscarriages this year and this is it's just it's far
less normal to have two or three back to back
now there. He said that we're in kind of that
scary process of running tests and finding out more to
know about ourselves, you know, biologically. And the weird thing

(21:40):
is that if you want them to find something, like you,
you want them to find something, but then you don't
want them to find something. It's like that weird uncharted
territory of fact finding. That's what they're going through right now.

Speaker 4 (21:53):
Oh I hate, I mean, I know, heartbroken for them.
It makes me want to cry. I feel that the
not knowing part because when Ryan was really sick, you know,
we we just wanted answers. It took forever to find
an answer. I mean to the point where I was

(22:14):
like hoping that he had cancer. It got that bad
because I wanted I just wanted to have some way
of focusing our energy more on getting him better. And
without the information, you know, of what was going on,
you couldn't do that. So yeah, part of me was like,

(22:36):
I think both of us have said this, you kind
of wish for something that is known so you can
attack it. Yeah. So I totally get the unknown. I
totally get hating the unknown and why this is happening
to them, and my heart just goes out to him.

Speaker 2 (22:52):
Yeah, and then sometimes it's like, okay, well, if we
get task and finds out there that there's something is wrong,
at least we like can know, right if there's a
way to fix it, and we can like take action.

Speaker 4 (23:04):
Exactly exactly, yes, right.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
Another Nick news he's clarifying the nuptial clause in the
Bachelor contract. Nick said that he was offered insight on
how the Bachelor franchise weddings are negotiated.

Speaker 3 (23:28):
And this is something that you might you might know of.

Speaker 2 (23:31):
There's something in our contracts that we sign where it's
like if they give a crap about your relationship and
you want to get married on TV, it's already a
kind of pre arranged thing in your contract.

Speaker 3 (23:44):
He said.

Speaker 2 (23:45):
It's more free wedding rather than you get paid. Do
you remember this?

Speaker 4 (23:52):
So no, because we are the first ones to negotiate it.

Speaker 2 (23:55):
Okay, So so after you they started putting it in
the contracts.

Speaker 4 (24:00):
Yes, because they were like, we're not going to pay
everybody a million.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
Dollars, right, Okay, so once you negotiated and you got
the money, they were like, okay, and.

Speaker 3 (24:10):
Now there, we're not doing that again.

Speaker 2 (24:14):
We really wanted that, we wanted it enough for a million.

Speaker 3 (24:17):
Dollars, but we're never gonna want it that bad again.

Speaker 2 (24:20):
Yeah, all right, And I'm sure Nick is referring to
Bachelor and Bachelor atte lead contracts. There is something in
the nuptial contract for just like a regular cast member,
and I really yeah, or paradise or something, because it
makes sense because like if you're marrying the lead, like

(24:41):
then totally okay. So he's saying, if they care about
your relationship and if you want to get married on TV,
then it's like, okay, here's your free wedding, no paycheck
or minimal paycheck.

Speaker 4 (24:53):
I'm sure that's what it focuses on, Like we're not
paying you, but we'll give you a free wedding.

Speaker 3 (24:57):
Yeah, they're not mandating you to have have a wedding
on TV.

Speaker 4 (25:01):
Now, no, no no.

Speaker 3 (25:02):
No no no no no no.

Speaker 4 (25:05):
I would think not because there have been plenty of
people who have gotten married without it being on telephone.

Speaker 2 (25:10):
Well, they also didn't want it to be of like
a lot of people wanted it to be on TV,
but it wasn't and people.

Speaker 3 (25:17):
Are gonna be like that. I actually probably wanted hers
on TV.

Speaker 2 (25:20):
I can firmly tell you I did not want my
wedding on TV. I had been to Bachelor weddings before,
you know, many actually, I think three by the time
Jared and I were planning our wedding, and I was like,
I don't want to not have full control of my wedding.

(25:42):
I want to be my style with my guests. I
don't want it to be an orchestra event. I feel like, again,
with you having your for the first wedding, you probably
did get to have like all the.

Speaker 3 (25:56):
People that you ever wanted at your wedding, right.

Speaker 4 (25:59):
Yeah, yeah, yes, I had total control, not control necessarily,
it's not the right word, but input and and my
input was heard, you know, and and executed. It wasn't like, oh, well,
I'd really like to have badly Mishkad do my my

(26:19):
dress and they would be like, okay, well, whatever, We're
not going to do that. They like actually listened and
implemented pretty much all the things that I that I
wanted to do. I mean, Mindy Weiss was in charge really,
and I just kind of was like, I was like,
whatever she wants to do, you know, I like pink,

(26:43):
and so you just roll with that. Yeah, there are
things looking back that I really wish I would have done,
But that wasn't like because it was on television. It
was it was more like, you know, little little moments
that I wish I would have done. But yeah, I
feel very lucky still that we had the wedding that

(27:05):
we did.

Speaker 1 (27:06):
Right.

Speaker 2 (27:06):
There was so there was reasons beyond just aesthetic choices
for me and guest choices. It was like, yes, you
never get it, they're gonna do with the edit of
your wedding. Like I just think about Jade and Tanner
or like some of our best friends. I'm just like,
I'm so sorry that I was any sort of character crying.

Speaker 3 (27:26):
Over a boy at your wedding.

Speaker 2 (27:31):
And that it aired that way, and that our storyline
was like as prevalent as your wedding was.

Speaker 3 (27:38):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 4 (27:38):
I mean, yeah, it definitely affected you. I totally understand.
You have every reason to feel like that, especially because
it was Jade and Tanner. Yeah, I mean, and it
was a beautiful wedding, and for them to not just
solely focus on that is is a bit sad, and
it is weird because I mean, we took over an
entire resort in Palm Springs. It was ranch On and

(28:00):
now I think it's the Ritz. It's the Ritz Carlton now.
But so we had the entire resort there were there
was nobody else there, and a lot of the rooms
were for executives and people we had never met before.
You know, they're behind the scenes at Disney or ABC
or Warner or whatever, and so that's weird. But it

(28:22):
really didn't affect me like I was. I was happy
that it was like of a resort that was full
of people that were all there to to celebrate the
love that Ryan and I had for each other.

Speaker 3 (28:34):
So yeah, it was great.

Speaker 2 (28:37):
Our final headline of the day is Rachel Rechia given
the real deats behind why Clayton broke up with her
for the second time, really broke broke up as a
really heavy term here, I'm just using it for the
gist of it all. On Perfect Match, there was like
twelve hours where they were going to maybe like try
to recogn like rekindle something, and then right before he

(29:01):
had to like go into the boardroom. If you watch
Perfect Match, you understand what I'm talking about. He kind
of went to her and said, hey, never mind, don't
think that we're sued for each other because he wanted
to go on a date with a fresh person and
on the show, uh, he talked, you know, he gives
like certain reasonings, but Rachel says that the real reason

(29:23):
is because because he was saying that it was his intuition,
my intuition is saying no, and she's she's saying what
didn't make the cut is that he wants a gym
girly like he wants a real gym rat of a girl,
because he has he has used the gym as like
his outlets since he was twelve years old, and he
made sure that it is such a big part of

(29:45):
his life and he needs somebody to understand that and
share in that time with him. So so there's that
and that, and then today he he he posted something
on Instagram about his daily workout routine and said, just

(30:05):
letting you guys know that Rachel and I have spoken
multiple times this week and we both agree that we're
just not compatible for multiple reasons.

Speaker 4 (30:15):
So and didn't he say something else in the like
on that story that he shared today. Hold on, I'm
gonna pull it up.

Speaker 3 (30:26):
Here it is, he said.

Speaker 4 (30:28):
And by the way, Rachel, maybe you said this already.
Rachel and I have spoken on the phone twice over
the last week. We both agree that we have different
lifestyles and that's perfectly okay. We respect that about one
another and just want the other to be happy. We
also both agree we make a mess on reality TV
together and need to quit doing that. Which, yeah, I

(30:49):
feel like being married for almost twenty three years, you know,
hindsight's twenty twenty, of course, and I've been through a
lot of years of marriage. But even when I was
looking for someone to be tied to forever, you know,
to be with together forever, I wasn't if there was

(31:15):
something that was that I was passionate about, I wasn't
expecting that person to like share in that passion exactly
as I do, do you know what I mean? So
I love hanging out with my friends and I'm not
expecting I wasn't expecting the person that I chose to

(31:37):
be with forever to like come join me with my friends.
I just wanted him to respect that I love hanging
out with my friends and give me that time. Now.
I do understand that you want to share your passions together,
and that's that's great. Of course you want to be
compatible with someone. But I feel like, is he at
the gym for like fifteen hours a day? Probably not.

Speaker 2 (32:01):
I think that's why he wrote it all down, like
showing how much of a time commitment it is. But
also I think that this is just one of the
things that he said just to make her feel better
to him, to feel better because he knew that if
he were to walk into an actual relationship with Rachel
when it was like more like dazing versus like a

(32:23):
few hours, he was gonna get in trouble. He was
gonna find himself in trouble because if he started again
and it didn't end well again, it'd be like ah.
And you know, and for Clayton, it looks like this
this show isn't really making him look the best. I
haven't watched much of it yet, but I know that
he doesn't love the way that he's being portrayed on it.

Speaker 3 (32:44):
Oh really Yeah, So I.

Speaker 2 (32:46):
Feel like.

Speaker 3 (32:49):
He messed up either way.

Speaker 2 (32:51):
But he also says in the post that, like, both
of them are very messy on reality TV and they
don't plan on doing a dating show again. I don't
want to throw Rachel onto the bus with this. I
love Rachel on my TV. She's such a beautiful personality
and a beautiful face at that too.

Speaker 4 (33:07):
So yeah, agreed. And for him to say, like because
she doesn't go to the gym that she's not beautiful
or for me, I don't know. I mean, to each
their own right, to each their own. And if that's
something that's really important for him to have in a relationship,
someone to go to the gym with him, then to

(33:27):
each their own. But I think maybe just in terms of,
you know, unsolicited advice, I do hate unsolicited advice, so
I hate that I'm even saying that. But if he's
looking for a solid foundation of a relationship, I think
it's more about respect for each other's passions and not
holding it against them that they don't share the same

(33:49):
pas exactly exactly.

Speaker 2 (33:51):
Well, Clayton, we're sorry, but we're sorry too, you know, yeah,
to get you a little bit, poor guy.

Speaker 3 (33:58):
He gets dug out a lot.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
And he is going to come back on our podcast
to talk more about his experience on Perfect Match.

Speaker 3 (34:07):
He did. Just come on.

Speaker 2 (34:08):
If you guys haven't listened to recap episode two, this
is before Rachel enters the villa, and you can listen
to how he feels about that episode, about the prior episode,
just how he fit in amongst the cast, and how
his portrayal is.

Speaker 3 (34:24):
But then we'll get.

Speaker 2 (34:24):
Him on more to talk about his relationship with Rachel.
Give him that opportunity since she just had the opportunity
on next podcast to talk about her experience with Clayton.

Speaker 4 (34:32):
Yeah, and that well, And can I say really quickly,
I feel like I don't feel like we're taking a
dig at him necessarily. I think that he has said
what he's said. And if you are on reality television,
you know there's that part of you if you speak
about someone and you we share the same feelings about Rachel,

(34:55):
I adore.

Speaker 3 (34:57):
I love her so much, gee, I love her.

Speaker 4 (34:59):
She's She's one of my favorite people from Bachelor Nation,
and we have a great time when we're together, and
I will go to bat for her every day of
the week and twice on Sunday, you know what I mean.
So I don't think we're taking a dig at him.
I think that it's just knowing what I know about
marriage and how hard it is and just what to

(35:24):
look for when you're looking for a solid foundation. I
just feel like maybe possibly rethinking, you know, things, because
maybe the gym is not what you should be focusing on,
you know. So I don't think that's a dig I
think that's just advice for anyone if you're looking for

(35:44):
a relationship, like get to know what people that you're
hanging out with are passionate about, but just don't hold
it against them if it's not something that you don't
necessarily like to do. So anyway, Yeah, we we wish
Clayton all the best, all the best, as as in

(36:06):
everybody who's on Bachelor Nation. It's always I try to
like look at everyone and think positively. But when you're
saying certain things that don't necessarily make sense, we just
have to like address it and then we can move on.

Speaker 2 (36:21):
Yeah, you know, you just should have been like, you
know what, Rachel, this is gonna be sloppy.

Speaker 3 (36:27):
Let's let's not do this. It's gonna be sloppy. I
just say that. That's the honest answer.

Speaker 4 (36:32):
Like there doesn't even have to be a reason you're
so right, there didn't have to be a reason. I
think he was. He was looking for a reason. And really,
if your intuition is telling you that that's not the person,
then that's not the person. You don't have to have
a reason.

Speaker 3 (36:45):
Well.

Speaker 2 (36:45):
I feel like Clayton probably got both ways. You know,
he got now for saying she didn't go to the gym.
He got for saying it was intuition. So yeah, right,
poor I can't win.

Speaker 3 (36:56):
But you can't win. You can't win.

Speaker 4 (36:59):
Sorry, Clayton.

Speaker 3 (37:00):
This is always so fun with you, Trista.

Speaker 2 (37:02):
And I know that Ben is going to Italy soon,
so you and I will probably be doing this again
and I can't wait for it.

Speaker 3 (37:09):
But until next time, IB and Ashley.

Speaker 4 (37:12):
I've been Trista.

Speaker 3 (37:13):
Bye.
