Speaker 1 (00:01):
From Los Angeles, pH.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
And one and only.
Speaker 1 (00:17):
Why Hello and welcome to the Perez healthon podcast. I'm
Chris Booker, the guy that says things next to him.
How are you?
Speaker 2 (00:24):
I'm excited. I missed the days when pop stars would
beef with one another. I think it's back. I'll tell
you all about Miley Cyrus versus Taylor Swift.
Speaker 1 (00:34):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (00:35):
Also why a lot of Billie Eilish fans are upset today?
Plus this one aspiring pop star has a lot of
people divided. We'll let you know where we stand on
Addison Ray. A lot of people on our Patreon requested
that we talk about that, so we will also. Of course,
either you're looking forward to this or not. But there
(00:56):
are some Blake, Lively and Diddy updates the latest there.
But at first, how are you all good?
Speaker 1 (01:02):
I mean, it was quite the wild weekend here in
Los Angeles with all of the rioting happening. I mostly
stayed away from any of those areas of town, but
it is quite the shit show here I could attest
to that.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
You know what the craziest thing is is that, like
literally this week five years ago, my Facebook memories was
reminding me of all of the awful you know, craziness
that we were enduring back then, and it gives me
like PTSDs. It's like I want to remain detached from everything.
But even like, just before we went live, I saw
(01:38):
this one Australian reporter who got shot by a rubber bullet.
Speaker 1 (01:42):
I just watched that.
Speaker 2 (01:43):
Yeah, craziness, craziness, you know, real life things like that
make me grateful that my real life drama pales in comparison.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
Yeah, it's true. There's a lot of very heavy things
happening in our country, especially at the moment, and it's
got a lot of people to and uh, of course
that's what the administration wants. Chaos, utter chaos.
Speaker 2 (02:05):
I feel like I wasn't going to talk about my
real life drama, but it could be a good palate
cleanser for how you started the show.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
Okay, I gotta lower my.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
Voice a little bit.
Speaker 1 (02:13):
Uh oh, this is about Father's Day. I can tell
that's this weekend.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
It is yesterday. You know. We went to go celebrate
Father's Day early, great, wonderful, fabulous. Then I got home
from the buffet and I fucking slept ten and almost
eleven hours. It was the best Father's Day. I got
home by six point thirty. I was asleep at six
forty five.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
Nice.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
Then this morning, my mom like starts crying and I'm like,
what's going on. She's like, the girls left their purses
at the buffet and I'm like, oh, it's all good,
just call them. And they have cameras all over the casine.
She said she didn't want to call, she wanted to
meet it. I'm like, well, you can call. It's not
that difficult. Just fucking call. And then we got into
(02:56):
a fucking fight over her not wanting to call the
casino because the girls left their persons, and like, you're
guilt tripping me over something that you can easily do,
that you're capable of doing, and you're making me feel
bad for not for asking you to do it. Like
you bought them the purses, you were sitting next to
the so whatever. Yeah, that's my morning.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
And you ended up calling right No.
Speaker 2 (03:19):
I was like, fuck, that's the name of the casino
is South Point Casino. They have a wonderful buffet. I
was like, you don't even have to call, just go
there in person. She's like, I don't speak English, though
you speak English, just well enough okay.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
Just dwell enough.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
Anyway.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
No, maybe she's hung up about that, you know what
I mean, Like she can't communicate when she's stressed out.
I don't fucking know.
Speaker 2 (03:41):
Well, go there, show up in person, take the kids,
and the kids speak perfect English. True, Okay, She's like,
oh no, no, it's a it's like an hour of
my time. I'm like, okay, well whatever, I don't care, Like,
I'm not gonna let I'm not letting you make me
feel bad over this.
Speaker 1 (03:57):
Right, And you should have pulled the Father's Day card
right there. I would have said, hey, this was my
father's Day. Why are you putting this on me?
Speaker 2 (04:03):
Seriously? And then she was like, and my friends told
me that you were saying things about I was like, well,
I only spoke the truth. Well, sometimes you shouldn't tell
the truth.
Speaker 1 (04:15):
You guys are snitches. This is all I have to say.
Speaker 2 (04:18):
I know I'll probably get in trouble for this now. Yeah,
well all right, let's just get to it. Miley cyrus
a few Miley Stories today three in one show, starting
off with maybe people will be divided on this as well.
Miley had I think it was Friday Night, a screening
(04:38):
for her new visual album. It was in New York
and I don't understand how this. I don't know what
they billed it as. I didn't buy tickets, but people
bought tickets, and apparently there was some confusion at least
with some people there that were under the impression that
she was going to perform. Also, so she got heckled
(04:59):
by people in the audience saying, we thought this was
going to be a concert sing right, And then she
did sing a little, She sang a little bit of
the Climb. And was that inappropriate of some of those
people in the audience to heckle Miley at her own event?
Speaker 1 (05:15):
Yeah, absolutely, unless it says a concert with Miley Cyrus.
Clearly this sounds like a promotional event where they're out
there showing something of the album. There's no guarantee that
she's gonna sing, but you know, Squeaky Wheel gets the grease.
I guess it kind of made her perform a little bit.
I saw that her, you know, kind of doing an
a cappella the Climb.
Speaker 2 (05:36):
I sent you that, and that was before I saw
the full clip that happened after they heckled her. Oh yeah,
And then I complained to you look at her. Then
again one more time. She's fucking talking through the song.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
You're right, she was talking.
Speaker 2 (05:49):
That if you missed our Patreon. I brought up this
point that like every single performance that Miley has done
over the last twelve months, every time from the Toe
Marma to wherever to. She had another performance in New
York at the Carlisle Hotel, She's talking through all the song.
It's just so annoying to me.
Speaker 1 (06:10):
It's distracting.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
Beyond distracting, I think it's unprofessional. There we go, So
that happened.
Speaker 1 (06:15):
I listen to the album by the way.
Speaker 2 (06:17):
I like it.
Speaker 1 (06:17):
I really like it. I think there's a couple of
really good songs on it.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
It's fine. It's just a B album. Though I like it.
You're like, it's kind of like you're forcing yourself to
like it, like you really want to like it. Oh
shut up the way.
Speaker 1 (06:30):
I like her.
Speaker 2 (06:31):
I like her too, But the album is just a
bee it is.
Speaker 1 (06:34):
I don't think everything that my ears are subjected to
has to be an a but I think over time
those songs will definitely grow on you. There's a couple
of really good songs on No.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
There are some nice, really pretty ballads, but there's still
b ballads and it's like you can appreciate it because
she sounds great, Like Wow, what a great vehicle for
her to showcase her voice. Absolutely that you could still
showcase your voice and have a fucking a song. They're
just bees in my opinion, I could be wrong, but
actually I don't think I'm wrong because the final numbers
(07:03):
are in and Miley's album debuted at number four unfortunately
on the Billboard Hot one. That is not bad on
the Billboard Album chart, not the Hot one hundred, the
Billboard two hundred.
Speaker 1 (07:13):
It's not bad when you look at like a Jlo
that puts something out that doesn't even debut in the
top one hundred, it's really good.
Speaker 2 (07:19):
That's true. That's true. Scissa's album, though that's been out
for a while, did better than Miley, that came out
at number three. Miley was at number four with forty
four thousand units. Number two was a K pop act
Congrats to Them seventeen. They came in at number two
with forty eight thousand units, and then number one again
was Morgan Wallen with the biggest album of the year.
(07:40):
It's third week at number one, moving a two hundred
and forty six thousand units, already over a million units,
which is major in this day and age. Sure and congrats. Also,
the Taylor Swift reputation was just behind Miley. It was
so close it was neck and neck. Reputation had forty
two thousand units, so number five. So speaking of Taylor
(08:01):
Swift and Miley cyrus So, Miley was a guest on
the Every Single Album podcast and she was talking about
her album Plastic Hearts and how her label forced Dua
Lipa on there. She didn't want Dua on the album.
She thought that Dua would have made more sense on
her last album, Endless Summer Vacation. And you know, she said,
(08:23):
no diss to Dua, it just didn't make sense. That
just felt a little shady. She literally said, that wasn't
my idea, and no shade to Doua Lipa. It just
isn't cohesive with the album.
Speaker 1 (08:34):
I don't have any problem with that. I mean, her
point is well taken. I'd rather have her on the
party album than the experimental album because Dua Lipa is
not really the experimental artist.
Speaker 2 (08:43):
What's crazy is the song with Dua Lipa was the
best song on that album. And part of it could
be because dua made it extra special. Prisoner. She's also
a little diluded, you know, like that was not a
rock album. That was a pop album.
Speaker 1 (08:58):
Okay, I mean even Prisoner. I mean that's you know,
Stevie Nick's knockoff, and that was pop music. That was
not rock music. That was a Fleetwood Mac rock band.
That was her doing her pop radio.
Speaker 2 (09:10):
Yes, so I do think it is shady in my opinion.
She said that, you know, the label thought the album
wasn't good, so they'll spray some dua on it.
Speaker 1 (09:20):
Well, the duo was the best part, I guess it was.
Speaker 2 (09:23):
And then also a prior album to that, her twenty
thirteen album Bangers, her biggest album ever, the label would
not let her do this one music video that she
wanted to do. I guess she didn't have enough power
or control back then, and I guess it makes sense
now she can do whatever she wants. But there was
a song off Bangers called four by four and she
wanted to do a bad blood type video with like
(09:46):
a girls squad on it. On the on it her friends,
she said this was she said, I had everybody lined up.
Nelly Madonna was down to do the video Miranda Cosgrove
from Fucking I Carle. This was before Taylor had a
lot of famous people in her crew. I was friends
with the famous people first I wanted to do that.
(10:07):
I had a fucking squad, and my squad was very
very cool. Yes it's a little playful, but it's still shady.
I think now that's playful. Come on, I think it's shady.
I think it's shady.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
You think everything's shady. Like she's just saying she had
an idea and she couldn't make it happen daylor Swift did,
and she was just laughing about it. I don't find
that to be shady.
Speaker 2 (10:28):
She says. Madonna was down to mud wrestle with Miranda Kerr.
I was like, I'm gonna get all these girls, all
these supermodels, all these victorious secret models, and all of
these pop icons to come to my dad's farm, get
in the back of four by fours, and we're gonna
mud wrestle, and we're gonna go out and do donuts.
But the label did not want that as a single,
and actually I agree with the label. It wasn't like
(10:49):
a hit song.
Speaker 1 (10:50):
Well, the label didn't want to spend the money.
Speaker 2 (10:52):
But it was her money. You know, she could have
done it anyways.
Speaker 1 (10:55):
Well, that's not necessarily her money, it's her budget.
Speaker 2 (11:00):
She could have done it on her own dime.
Speaker 1 (11:02):
That's true, But you know, it sounds like it was
just a very expensive video with a lot of names
that you're gonna have to pay and accommodations and.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
Oh and oh yeah, yeah Madonna, just getting Madonna there
at least yeah, one hundred of thion dollars. Yeah, exactly crazy.
In that same podcast interview, Miley talks about when she
released that awful Dead Pets album of hers. She reveals
that she was doing a lot of drugs, then how much.
(11:30):
She says that she ended up spending close to fifteen
thousand dollars that year in drugs, which I guess is
not that much, or some people might consider it to
be very a lot. And her accountant kept asking why
she was spending so much on vintage clothes. That was
her code name for all the drugs she was buying,
vintage clothes. Nice, Yeah, she says, I'm so glad I
(11:52):
survived that time in my life. I would definitely not
encourage anyone else to go this hard, but the fact
that I got through it. I'm very glad I got
to do it. Okay, no regrets for Miley, all right.
In more music related news, another week down with the
Ditty trial, and you know this is so I understand it,
(12:17):
but I hate it. Also, like the last couple days
on the stand were mainly made up of this one
ex girlfriend of Ditty's, well not even X. In shocking
bit of testimony, she revealed that Diddy for the last
many months actually has continued to pay for her house,
(12:38):
perhaps hoping to buy her silence or loyalty. I'm guessing
I don't know if he's going to keep paying that now.
Speaker 1 (12:45):
Yeah, I think that check's going to be stopped as
of tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (12:48):
Yeah. She is a star witness for the prosecution. Based
on her testimony, people have been some people have been
able to deduce who she is. She even referred to
herself as an influencer, and she even gave certain information
like oh, I had a baby with one of his rivals,
(13:10):
So it wasn't that hard for a lot of people
to deduce who it was. But still, like, even on
some of the videos that I made, people were doxing
her and revealing her name, and I think that's so lame.
Speaker 1 (13:21):
Well, I didn't want to say it out loud, but
I'm going to say it. It's Addison Ray.
Speaker 2 (13:24):
Shut up, well talking, We're talking about her next. She
never dated She never dated Diddy, damn it. You know,
she was given anonymity by the court for a reason
to protect her identity if she wants to come forward
in the future. And actually I think she fucking should
write a book about it.
Speaker 1 (13:43):
Yeah, she might have an exactly sure. I would think
anybody that works for him probably does sign this.
Speaker 2 (13:49):
Yeah, she probably did. But is that enforceable if he's
that's a good question. If he's on trial.
Speaker 1 (13:55):
I took the money. I don't know if the estate
could still sue you after the fact. If the state
is still well in a state.
Speaker 2 (14:01):
That's a good thing. Let's let's ask if any of
you our lawyers were in the legal field. Eight hundred
and seventy five. I think if crimes are committed, I
don't think an NDA is enforceable.
Speaker 1 (14:12):
Yeah, I don't know. I know you're not allowed to
make money off of a crime.
Speaker 2 (14:15):
If you're the criminal.
Speaker 1 (14:17):
Yeah, right, But I don't know how it goes on
the other side.
Speaker 2 (14:20):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (14:21):
If a lawsuit negates your your word, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (14:24):
I don't think he has anything to do with the law.
I think if a crime is committed, and now if
he if he's found guilty, then a crime was committed,
then the NDA is not enforceable. I believe.
Speaker 1 (14:33):
Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (14:34):
Thankfully, we are past the halfway mark. The trial is
expected to wrap up in less than a month. By
fourth of July. We heard from a lot of other
people testimony about from assistance about cleaning up after him.
This poor woman, she'd be puking and he would still
make her perform, and everybody's talking. It's just it's just crazy. Yeah,
(14:55):
all right, let's keep it light. Moving on to Addison Ray.
Holy hell. I don't know exactly yet where it's gonna land,
but the former TikToker turned pop star. Her album is
streaming well. It's on its way to a big first
week debut. I sent you or you sent me some
(15:15):
clips of this performance that she did to celebrate the
album release. And what did you say? Something about like
a nurse or something.
Speaker 1 (15:22):
I don't know. I was drunk, I care about You're
a drunk.
Speaker 2 (15:25):
You did not like it, you were not a fan.
I gotta say, I could not stop listening to this
album all week and long.
Speaker 1 (15:33):
I think people like it. I've heard that it's good.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
But does that shock you.
Speaker 1 (15:37):
She has more money than God as a as an influencer.
She can buy whatever hits and whatever sound you want.
If you're gonna do it, you may as well do
it right. It doesn't mean you have an ounce of
talent in your body, but it just it just means
that you can go out and you have the means to,
you know, make a good album.
Speaker 2 (15:53):
But that's not what she did. She didn't work with
the hit makers. She didn't work with a single hit maker.
She worked with an all female crew, which is I
think is really cool, and it's a very girly female album.
Speaker 1 (16:05):
Yeah, but I'm just saying, these people aren't newbies, you
know what I mean, Like they're they're in the business.
These aren't a bunch of amateurs that got together and said, hey,
let's make an album. That's all I'm saying. It's too
professional sounding to be that.
Speaker 2 (16:16):
I saw a comment recently that I think checks you.
Somebody said something along the lines of taste meaning, okay,
sure she might have money to work with the best
people in the label or whatever. But you might not
have an ear right, you might not have taste. You
might not be able to curate a great album. Taste
beats talent every time. When talent has no taste.
Speaker 1 (16:41):
That doesn't make any sense at all.
Speaker 2 (16:42):
Yes, it does, it doesn't. You might be the best singer,
you might be the best vocalist, but if you have
no taste, you're not going to release a good album.
Speaker 1 (16:51):
Okay, what do you mean? Okay, I'll take talent any
day of the week, because talent last forever. Taste is
some bullshit that you can pay for. Now do you
think if you're telling me, if you're saying, well, I
can tell if a song's good. I can tell if
a song's good. Okay. I don't think that that's some
big skill that I have that other people don't have.
I think a lot of people have that skill.
Speaker 2 (17:13):
I think she has got talent. I think she has talent.
Speaker 1 (17:15):
Okay, then maybe she does.
Speaker 2 (17:17):
I've always thought that, even when she was just on TikTok,
I was like, there's something special about this girl. There's
videos of me.
Speaker 1 (17:22):
Saying that, Well, there's that. I mean, there are people
that have it. There's so many people running around Hollywood
that have it. But that doesn't mean that their talent
is great. It just means there's something about them that
you go, Wow, there's something to you. It's very rare
when you get everything, When you get the it and
you get the talent and the packaging, it's a you know,
(17:43):
it's a unicorn.
Speaker 2 (17:44):
Well she wrote those or was involved in the writing
of the song involved, Yeah, I love that word involved. Well.
Speaker 1 (17:51):
I was in a room when somebody knows what they're
doing and I, you know, throw a word in it
here and they're.
Speaker 2 (17:56):
Not just crediting it.
Speaker 1 (17:57):
I'm just telling you how it happens, and you know
how it happens. That's how it happens with a new artist.
Speaker 2 (18:02):
Would you say the same of it as a male artist.
I don't think you're gonna tell me.
Speaker 1 (18:06):
Some of these K pop kids know what the fuck
they're doing. They have no idea, they're cheerleaders. Give me
a break.
Speaker 2 (18:10):
Well, if you like Laana del Ray this album, it's
like if Lna del Ray and Marina had a baby,
it would be this. Well I like that description. Do
you know Marina Marina the Diamond? Yeah, yeah, yeah, well
now she just goes by Marina Marina.
Speaker 1 (18:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (18:25):
I love the Addison Ray album. It's like, literally there's
not a single song on there that I'm skipping, like,
I've been listening to it NonStop. So good.
Speaker 1 (18:34):
Maybe it's good.
Speaker 2 (18:34):
I like the Addison Ray album actually better, but I
still love Marina and it's a good album. Also, Mariah
Carrie released from Marina to Maria. Mariah released a new song,
Dangerous Type, and uh, it's a solid be It sounds
like it could be on her Emancipation of Mimi album.
So there's just something about it feels like they're trying
(18:55):
to replicate something, but it was done well, if that
makes sense.
Speaker 1 (18:58):
So they're trying to just cover an exactly.
Speaker 2 (19:01):
They're trying to like revisit that early two thousands, like
Mariah pop R and B.
Speaker 1 (19:05):
And that was fun. I like that Mariah, so okay,
I'll take a listen to that.
Speaker 2 (19:09):
Yeah, it's like it's not an A, but it's a
B plus actually, because if I said the Miley Album's
a B, this is a B plus, so B plus. Also,
Ed Sheeran released a new song called Sapphire and I
just think he's over sadly. I love the song. Actually,
I think it's a great song. But I'm like, I
don't know why people have stopped caring. I don't know
why they turn I don't know what happened.
Speaker 1 (19:29):
You just get tired of a sound, is what it is.
I mean, even someone's voice, going back to Miley. I'm
like listening to the album and I'm like, I feel
like it happened to Katie Perry too. Like you just
get tired of someone's voice sometimes, and you feel like
you've heard it do everything that they're still doing, like
you're just kind of doing the same thing over and over.
Speaker 2 (19:48):
Yeah, I get that. Taylor is like the unicorn.
Speaker 1 (19:52):
There's a few. I mean, Gaga can still there. For
a minute, it looked like Gaga you could throw her
in that pile as well, But she's really kind of
turned it around.
Speaker 2 (20:01):
She has, although in a way, she's become bigger. It's
like Beyonce. Gaga and Beyonce are bigger than hits. And
actually maybe the next Taylor album might not have like
a hit single, but it will still be a huge album.
Speaker 1 (20:12):
You know, she's gonna do a couple hits this time.
Speaker 2 (20:15):
I think I hope so, but yeah, you're right, it's
the new Sapphire song from Ed Sheeran. It's like more
of the same, but it's good. I don't like I'm
not mad at it like I like it.
Speaker 1 (20:26):
Divide's still one of my favorite albums ever.
Speaker 2 (20:29):
Speaking of British people, from Ed Sheeran to King Charles,
a new report about his health. Apparently his cancer is
considered incurable but treatable. He still has not disclosed what
kind of cancer he has, but if you had to
speculate on that, my guess is prostate cancer because for
(20:50):
guys that's pretty much after a certain age too, or
like even with Joe Biden too, he's got prostate cancer
after a certain age. It's just they don't even treat
it after a certain age for some people. For yeah, yeah,
so Prince William might be King William sooner than later.
Crazy all right over here in the US, Blake Lively
(21:11):
has had a little encounter with a fan, and a
fan went viral on TikTok talking about Blake being rude
at this one store where she saw her, asking like,
it's so ridiculous. They were at this store and they
were like putting patches on a purse. It's like a
customization store, right, It's like, oh, you can like personalize
(21:34):
this and personalized. She's like, oh, do you have any
untouched ones I need? I want new ones. I'm like,
you need new patches?
Speaker 1 (21:42):
Who the fuck cares?
Speaker 2 (21:43):
Then at like one point, she's like, do you have
a private bathroom re could use? Like, but what's interesting
is that girl's TikTok video was taken down real and
I wonder why that happened. She didn't say anything, mean,
there was no bullying, harassment. My guess is either Blake's
people reached out and said take that down, making either
(22:07):
threats or maybe giving payment, or Blake has a team,
and you know, her team just like kept on reporting it.
Like you know, she's got like a digital team that
like can false report a video for harassment even if
it's not harassment.
Speaker 1 (22:21):
Yeah, if you were on somebody's property, But she wasn't
filming in there.
Speaker 2 (22:24):
She was filming outside talking about what happened.
Speaker 1 (22:27):
Oh that's interesting then yeah yeahah, because if you're outside
in filming in, that's a different story.
Speaker 2 (22:32):
But if you're inside, no, she wasn't even filming in.
She just said what happened.
Speaker 1 (22:37):
Okay, so she wasn't even like providing live coverage.
Speaker 2 (22:40):
Or any No, no, no, no.
Speaker 1 (22:41):
Yeah. My guess is Blake's team reached out and kindly
asked her to take it down, followed by a nice check.
Speaker 2 (22:48):
And the girl was in there first before Blake Lively
got there. But what's interesting is she said after she left,
Blake Lively's bodyguard stood outside, that there was nobody else
in there except for this one girl and Blake Lively
and her sister, and Blake Lively's sister and her niece.
After this girl left the store, Blake was still in there.
And then Blake's bodyguard stood in front of the store's door,
(23:11):
preventing anybody else from going inside. Wow, so that Blake
could shop in private.
Speaker 1 (23:16):
Listen, if Blake was that big of a deal, I
get it. Look, I've been with Ben and Jen shutting
down Gucci in Vegas and being like a fish and
a fish tank on the inside and witnessing that. But
that was Ben and Jen and the height of Ben
and Jen. She's fucking Blake Lively. She could be in
the store with nine hundred people, no one would give
a shit.
Speaker 2 (23:34):
Well, I would understand her being afraid now give and
everything like there's nut jobs.
Speaker 1 (23:39):
Then stay home is what I would say. It wasn't
like this is Gucci. It's not like we're in a mall.
Speaker 2 (23:44):
Like, come on, this story is going to blow up.
Oh my god, I just I don't even know why
I didn't talk about it. This story is going to
be huge news all day today and tomorrow. Last night,
two people were murdered on the Las Vegas Strip because
two YouTubers we're beefing. Really, there's like this whole subgenre
(24:05):
of live streamers, right, they just walk up and down
the Vegas Strip and they walk all around Vegas. And
these two Vegas live streamers they don't even make content.
I mean, that is their content. Their content is live streaming.
These two Vegas live streamers were beefing and one of
them ran into the other guy and then shot two
people fucking shot him dead, and now the guy's on
the run, and it's just like wow, yeah, I literally
(24:28):
just saw it before going live. It's gonna be a
huge story today. Wow, that's insane social media beef and
ends up you're fucking killing people.
Speaker 1 (24:36):
They're protecting their turf or something.
Speaker 2 (24:38):
Yeah exactly, Yeah, so stupid so crazy.
Speaker 1 (24:41):
Everyone just rips off everybody on social media. You see
one person doing one thing, You're like, oh, that's a
good idea. Then you keep scrolling, You're like, oh, we're
up to fifty two people doing the exact same thing.
Breaking news. Everyone they start off with that, You're like, oh, god,
shut up, this justin, Yeah, this just in? Shut up?
Speaker 2 (25:00):
Oh great, great, all right, some TV news. Very exciting.
Rachel Zoe is returning to reality television. She's going back
to Bravo. She had her own show on Bravo a
while ago. Now it's been a bit for a few years,
and Brad Geretzky was on there. But now she's going
to join the cast of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
(25:22):
Congrats to her. That show I think could use some juice,
so hopefully she brings it.
Speaker 1 (25:29):
That whole franchise could use a little bit of a
jolt of energy.
Speaker 2 (25:33):
I think it's time to cancel it. I think they've
all been on for so long.
Speaker 1 (25:37):
Take a break, take these shows off for you know,
a fucking year, two years or something, and make people
miss them, and come back swinging with a hot cast.
Speaker 2 (25:45):
You know. Speaking of reality TV stars, Kristin Cavalieri revealed
on her God, it's such a good for her. I
am a little jealous. I can acknowledge it. She got
a fucking show on E about doing podcast tour. They
gave her a reality show about doing her podcast on
(26:05):
the road.
Speaker 1 (26:06):
Well, six to seven people watch EE, so no big deal.
But she got the money.
Speaker 2 (26:10):
I would do a show on E.
Speaker 1 (26:11):
You know, she's not making anything, so people seem to
think that, you know, you get a TV show that
people care. I don't think anybody cares. This is the
first time I'm hearing about it.
Speaker 2 (26:19):
Maybe the second season could do better. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (26:22):
I'm predicting cancelation.
Speaker 2 (26:23):
On this show. She revealed that she hooked up with
Glenn Powell not even up and coming. He's like a
A minus.
Speaker 1 (26:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (26:32):
Yeah, she hooks up with everybody and talks all about it.
Speaker 1 (26:36):
Yeah, And let me tell you something, it's bullshit. It's sexist.
If a guy went out and like said, hey, I
fucking banged Kristen Cavaleri last night, you know, the fucking
Internet police would have this person shut down and how
dare you talk about you know, somebody else or whatever?
But women go on like you know I banged this dude,
and it's like, oh, it's okay. It's a double edged,
fucking sort of sexism.
Speaker 2 (26:55):
If you ask men start talking.
Speaker 1 (26:58):
Yeah, I'm gonna start talking. I didn't to say anything,
but I fucked Addison Ray. Oh god made that up?
Oh God, I'm not even sure I could point her
out of a light up.
Speaker 2 (27:07):
I would maybe fuck Addison Ray.
Speaker 1 (27:09):
Whatever video I sent you, I was kind of shocked
to see that was her, but pleasantly surprised.
Speaker 2 (27:16):
What do you mean, why were you shocked?
Speaker 1 (27:18):
Well, I think a lot of these online influencers or
whatever that I see in my feed are so made
up and so put on and whatever performance I sent you,
she I don't want to like down. She's a very
pretty girl, but she's not like she's not like these
a lot of these influencers with a lot of the
(27:39):
makeup and whatever. She seemed like almost to be a
normal girl ish.
Speaker 2 (27:43):
Well, that's for the aesthetics she's going for, like not grimy,
but she's going for like a very specific esthetic.
Speaker 1 (27:49):
Yeah, and that's one I seem to like more than
the fake put on Haley Bieber of everything.
Speaker 2 (27:55):
She's going for raw. That's the word. I was looking
for raw.
Speaker 1 (27:58):
I guess I kind of respect.
Speaker 2 (27:59):
That, Like, actually that did annoy me, Like there's either
I think a few times she talks about I hate
when people talk about smoking cigarettes in music, and she
does that I needed my cigarettes or whatever the fuck, like, oh, gross,
gross gross. All right, speaking of music, actually this has
gone super viral Billy eilish. For a while now, it
(28:22):
had been rumored that she was dating fellow musician and
actor Nat Wolf. He used to be in a band
with his brother. He still is in a band with
his brother, but they rebranded. They used to be called
the Naked Brothers brands. Now they're called I think Alex
and Nat Wolf or Nat and Alex Wolf. Not the
best name, but whatever. They even opened for Billy on tour,
and they've been friends for a while. But now they've
(28:44):
finally gone not even social media official, they've gone real
world official. Billy and Nat were in Venice, Italy, and
the paparazzi got photos of them on a balcony there.
They were taking pictures with like an old school camera.
They were drinking champagne, cheersing each other, kissing, He was
caressing her face, hugging. Definitely not friends, definitely blinking. It's
(29:10):
so weird.
Speaker 1 (29:11):
I mean, I've known this since she was a kid,
like she was fifteen. I think i'd better.
Speaker 2 (29:15):
Yeah, and some people, some fans are very upset for
a few reasons, Like one, they're just the crazy fans
that like don't want her hurt everything. Yeah. But then
there's other fans that are upset because she made this
big deal about her being by maybe even a lesbian,
but not. She never said she was a lesbian. She
just said she was into girls too well.
Speaker 1 (29:35):
She put out the song Lunch.
Speaker 2 (29:37):
Yes, she didn't make a big deal about it on
her last album. And then it's like, oh, now you're
dating a guy. So a lot of people are upset
at her. They're upset at Jojo Siwa. They're like, this
is why bye girls get a bad rap and that
is like whatever, I wish. I wish I could be
fluid like that. How lucky are they? They're lucky. I
(29:58):
think I.
Speaker 1 (29:59):
Really think it's it's just a product of this generation.
I cannot tell you how many kids that I see
or I have friends that their daughters are at the
Pride parade this weekend. And then you'd find out though
she used to date that boy or whatever, and I
was like, oh, I thought that she was gay, and
well sometimes, and you know, I think it's a very
fluid generation with the girls. With the girls, I don't
(30:20):
think it works that way with the guy.
Speaker 2 (30:22):
Oh I wish, I wish.
Speaker 1 (30:24):
I never accidentally blew a dude when I was a kid.
I'd never have.
Speaker 2 (30:28):
Speaking of musicians, Nick Jonas is gonna be starring in
a big movie. He is gonna be playing Kiss lead
singer Paul Stanley.
Speaker 1 (30:39):
Yeah, that's a weird.
Speaker 2 (30:41):
I don't know anything about Paul Stanley. Gene Simmons is
like the big personality. Is Paul Stanley a big personality?
Speaker 1 (30:47):
Paul Stanley is the lead singer. His sexuality was always
very ambiguous. Oh I met him out before at a show.
He's the nicest fucking guy, But no kisses. If you're
a kiss fan, you care everyone. I mean, you like
Peter Cris, you like everybody. So yeah, it's it's a
big deal for people that will enjoy his story, however
(31:08):
they portray it. So I'm interested to see how what
it's going to be. But an interesting casting if Y
ask me.
Speaker 2 (31:14):
Yeah, definitely. Speaking of casting, news Denzel Washington is going
to be in Black Panther three.
Speaker 1 (31:21):
That's badass.
Speaker 2 (31:22):
Yeah, I'm excited for that. Also, congratulations to Nicole Scherzinger
took comb Best Actress in a Musical last night at
the Tony Awards. And also congratulations to Darren Chris. He
took homb Best Actor in a Musical. Huh and what
a great night. Both of them are of Filipino descent,
(31:45):
partly Filipino, each of them. What a historically truly a
historic night, the first time ever that Filipino actor and
actress won in that in those categories and on the
same night. Major No no, that's not true, no no, no.
Leah Salonga previously won, but they both won together is
what I meant. Anyways, congratulations to them. Also congratulations to
(32:09):
Eliza Dushku. She's retired from acting but has totally transformed
her life and is now a therapist. She just graduated
with a master's degree in mental health counseling. So good
for her.
Speaker 1 (32:26):
Huh. Yeah, she was the shit back in the what
late nineties? Oh yeah, I was obsessed with her. She
was just like the most beautiful thing.
Speaker 2 (32:33):
Yeah. Also, congratulations to Sir David Beckham as of this week,
once the ceremony is held in Buckingham Palace, David Beckham
will be knighted by King Charles and henceforth he shall
be Sir David Beckham. And yes, that means that his
wife will be Lady Beckham. Wow, posh is officially a lady.
Speaker 1 (32:55):
Now that's cool.
Speaker 2 (32:57):
And finally, Tom Fellon, who played Draco Malfoy in the
Harry Potter movies, has gotten a lot of criticism for
a response that he gave about the anti trans rhetoric
that J. K Rowling has been spewing for many years now,
and he said, I'm not really attuned to all of that.
(33:20):
It doesn't affect me. And he actually went on to
praise JK Rowling, which is breaking. What do you say
when like the other two breaking ranks, breaking ranks. I
guess breaking ranks. Yeah, he's breaking ranks with Daniel Radcliffe
and Emma Watson and Rupert Grint who did speak out
against JK Rowling and her anti trans rhetoric. But Tom
(33:41):
Felton doesn't make as much money as them, obviously.
Speaker 1 (33:45):
He needs those checks.
Speaker 2 (33:46):
Actually, it was just announced that he's still part of
the Harry Potter Universe. He's going to play Draco Malfoy
in Harry Potter the play on Broadway, which is pretty
cool actually if you're a big Potter fan. He's the
first of the actors to return to the role that
he made that made him famous.
Speaker 1 (34:05):
And he was great at it too.
Speaker 2 (34:06):
Yeah, he's making sure not to piss off the big boss.
Speaker 1 (34:10):
Don't fuck with the purse.
Speaker 2 (34:12):
Let's take a couple of calls.
Speaker 3 (34:13):
Hey, Perez, Hey Booker, It's Melissa from Illinois. I was
actually just sharing some tea. I really don't have a
question or anything, but Perez, I don't know. If you
listen to the Dear Chelsea podcast with Chelsea Handler, I
know you usually say any exposure is great exposure for you,
but man, she was really roasting you. He was saying
(34:34):
you were the worst and so negative and toxic and
she wishes you would go away. Let me tell you
that did not leave the best taste in my mouth,
because I absolutely adore you and I love your podcast,
So I don't know, she kind of deterred me from
her own podcast now, So I just wanted to share
that in case you haven't heard about it, or if
any if no one else told you. All right, guys,
(34:55):
love you, haven't I say.
Speaker 2 (34:57):
No what else had told? Thank you for letting me know.
I kind of don't want to go give her a
listen now because I don't want to help her. But
if anybody wants to send me a clip, I would
love to share it.
Speaker 1 (35:09):
It's just so weird because you kind of light up
a little bit. My first instinct is to excuse me.
Something was in my throat. I love it, but you
just kind of roll with it.
Speaker 2 (35:19):
Oh, I love it. I want to know exactly what
she said now, Oh, I mean back when I was
at sea next Tuesday.
Speaker 1 (35:26):
Some people still are apparently.
Speaker 2 (35:27):
Yeah. I think I accused her of lying about her age,
which is not shocking. Like I think she looks a
lot older than she claims to be.
Speaker 1 (35:44):
These are perfect snapbacks.
Speaker 2 (35:46):
Like she says she's fifty years old, she does not
look fifty. Okay, I'm almost fifty. She looks at least
fifty five. Let's be honest. That's not a did that's
just honesty.
Speaker 1 (35:56):
Right, Let's wrap it up. This was fun. I think
this is a high note to leave all.
Speaker 2 (36:00):
