show by looking at one Calvin Speedy Wilburn and asking you, sir,

(02:30):
how yesterday went trying to balance Valentine's Day coming up
tomorrow and your wife's five.

Speaker 8 (02:39):
Oh yeah, I'm fifty fifty. Well, the birthday stood on,
it's on? Was it nifty? She told me last night,
she said, I think this is the best you've ever done, honey.
And I'm like, really, hoy, hony, And I said, well,
you know it's fifty. I mean who celebrates forty nine
or fifty one? I mean not like fifty. You know,

(03:00):
you got you got your big numbers, right, you got
your forties. You know, you got your twenty one. Yeah,
you got your fifty forty and your fifty and sixty
and stuff like that. But yeah, sixteen and uh, but
we had a blast yesterday. I was able to grab
my boys and say, hey, cut a little video from mom.
I saw those, so I kind of timelined it on

(03:22):
my Instagram.

Speaker 3 (03:23):
It was a good story. I saw that.

Speaker 8 (03:24):
Yeah, and so you'll see that. We had a great
lunch and we I met her at an establishment.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
We talked about she's the star. She was the star.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
She was.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
We had a great time.

Speaker 9 (03:39):
Uh.

Speaker 8 (03:39):
You know, they have a Bama in an auburn room.
I don't know if y'all seen those, Yeah they could.
They were saving in there many times, you know, on
the side door, and you have your own little room
and stuff. But it was, it was. It was a
great time. And together took pictures in the lobby Rick
to put on my Instagram.

Speaker 4 (03:57):
Storre, you told me we had to do that.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
You have to do that.

Speaker 8 (04:00):
And then and then so we just kind of roll
through the day and I had a birthday cake ready
for and it was just small birthday cake, and she
opened gifts, and then for dinner, we were like, there
we go for dinner. We were like, well, what do
you want to do? We'll go anywhere, do anything. But

(04:20):
I knew that she had a full day at work.
She goes into the office a couple of days a week.
There's some days that she works from the house, and
yesterday was an office day, so she didn't get home till,
you know, right at dinner time. So I'm like, so,
I didn't want to plan something. You're finally home. We
had a big lunch and then now I'm like, okay,
let's get right back out and go downtown or something.

(04:42):
And I said, so I didn't want to overstep and
do that. She's like, you know, I kind of have
an idea where I want to go. And I was
like really, And I was pleasantly surprised that she picked
Chub Fathers, which is excellent when it comes to seafood
and stuff like that. Oh yeah, YEA never heard of this?
Then then you're miss you're missing out.

Speaker 6 (05:02):
You haven't heard from it.

Speaker 4 (05:03):
I've never heard.

Speaker 8 (05:04):
It's an Alabaster Alabama, never heard and it is delicious?

Speaker 4 (05:08):
Is it? Is it?

Speaker 3 (05:09):
Is it a chain or is it a solo.

Speaker 8 (05:11):
It is solo. It's a solo and they specialized. You
could have anything from uh rick you they had like
last night they had hamburger steak with gravy that was
especially for the day. Or you can have a shrimp
po boy or some type of seafood you.

Speaker 4 (05:26):
Never heard of it delicious. You just messed up.

Speaker 3 (05:29):
You just messed up talking about that on there.

Speaker 8 (05:31):
I know, I'm sorry, uh and the I think we've
even heard that. I've met the owner a few times.
You'll never get in there now, But but I was
she when she I was like, I was not expecting that.
Pleasantly surprised, but not expecting. I'm like, where did that
come from? Because we hadn't been there in a month
or two?

Speaker 4 (05:47):
Like that?

Speaker 3 (05:48):
She said, I just I've kind of.

Speaker 8 (05:49):
The burgers are very that the uh the the burgers
are very good. Actually, ree Reese was actually in town.
He's back out headed north to work, but he knew
we were going there and he had, Hey, if you
don't mind it to go order for me please, I.

Speaker 4 (06:06):
Think and I may be wrong. You remember when we
did the high school football picked for Thompson. Sure you
do it once a year and they would feed us before.
But I know at one time that was I.

Speaker 3 (06:18):
Bet you're right.

Speaker 4 (06:19):
I bet somebody put something on the text line that
that I knew anyway.

Speaker 10 (06:24):
M hm.

Speaker 3 (06:25):
And that is that it's inexpensive.

Speaker 4 (06:28):
Well, nothing is.

Speaker 3 (06:30):
Somebody just put it on there. Yeah, you eggs.

Speaker 11 (06:32):
Oh, they got fish chacos at chub Fathers too, a
cage and horse radish sauce on a burger.

Speaker 3 (06:38):
It's everything, to be honest with you, it's everything we like.

Speaker 4 (06:41):
Uh.

Speaker 8 (06:41):
And so I was. I was really happy with her decision.
And I told her. I was like, hey, I'll go
get something. Uh, we'll do carry out delivery, We'll go somewhere.
This is this is your pick what whatever you want
to say a shocking pick and uh.

Speaker 3 (06:56):
And when she said that, I say, are you serious?
Because we we love to go there when we can.

Speaker 8 (07:02):
Uh and very good and so yeah, so that's kind
of how we wrapped it up. Then we came back
and had birthday cake. Uh and uh, she opened presents
and and all that. So it was it was a
really it was a good day and it stood on
its own and uh.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
And so do you have the energy for Valentine's Day?

Speaker 4 (07:20):
Now? I do?

Speaker 8 (07:21):
I went ahead and when I was grabbing birthday card,
I went ahead and said, I'm grabbing Valen's Day Valentine's
Day card, because there's nothing worse than on Valentine.

Speaker 4 (07:31):
Morning, a VAL's Day card, Valentine's Day.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
Uh, and it's just too much.

Speaker 8 (07:36):
There's nothing worse than the night before or the day of.
And you see there and you see all the guys
standing in.

Speaker 4 (07:42):
The I'll be that guy, and you're like, hey.

Speaker 3 (07:45):
You're back this year to say, actually was good to see.

Speaker 4 (07:49):
But it's like, how you doing. You did it good?
How you're doing? What you're looking at?

Speaker 3 (07:52):
You see a good one?

Speaker 4 (07:53):
You're going.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
I went ahead and grabbed that funny. I think it
was one of y'all.

Speaker 8 (08:00):
A one of my friends said a good secret to
grabbing gifts is to go to the Amazon account and
see if there things that they've saved or that's in
the cart but hadn't been bought. And so a couple
of days ago I did that and I saw two
things that she had been talking about, and so I
went ahead and got them delivered today for Valentine's That's

(08:21):
that boomt on that.

Speaker 4 (08:23):
I'm sorry, I don't understand the concept of anything that's
out there that they just wanted but not balked. Well,
I've never experienced with I never never experienced these things
in limbo as I'm bringing five packages yesterday. Yeah, but
but the Yeah, it's a good idea.

Speaker 8 (08:41):
But yeah, it was kind of funny though. If you so,
I have Tyler, you know, grown adult family, you know, husband, father,
on his own, j C almost on his own, his
last year of college. And then you have Reese who's
on it, who's on his own, but not on on
his own because you know, he's twenty You forget that

(09:02):
sometimes but he's working and paying bills and all that.
But trying to get the three of them to send videos,
it's different. Tyler was boom, he's quick because he's he's
he's you know, he's a man.

Speaker 4 (09:12):
On the movie.

Speaker 8 (09:12):
Yeah, JC, I got him walking in the rain headed
to class.

Speaker 12 (09:17):
Know.

Speaker 8 (09:17):
Reese, however, got Terry pretty pretty tickled because he claimed
in the video that we could play that she's she's
made it a long way.

Speaker 4 (09:26):
Or something made it. Hey mom, wow, I'm surprised you've
made it a long way. But but if you.

Speaker 3 (09:35):
Think back when you were twenty, oh, if somebody was fifty.

Speaker 4 (09:38):
You thought they were all no, no, well let me
let me what's all about the perspective of where you are.
Let me just tell you somebody, it's a decade down
the road. If you think everybody says that to you
at fifty. Yeah, I remember my sixtieth birthday. People almost
looked at me like, well how about you? Good for you? Yeah,
And I'm not knocking on that. I don't think anybody
to see me. It's like for another one, Mom, I'm

(09:59):
proud of you. It is the fifty.

Speaker 1 (10:02):
This is the Rick Burgess Show. This is what Trump

(10:22):
had in mind when he sought to make America great again,
The Rick Burchers Shows.

Speaker 4 (10:29):
Doing just doing our part, just doing our part. Okay,
h a lot to unpack again today. Thank you America
for taking time to be with us. Thank you for
all your feedback. Always fun. So it is Valentine's weekend
coming up tomorrow, Tomar's Valentine's Day, fellas Tomrs Valentine's Day.

Speaker 3 (10:56):
So as as as.

Speaker 4 (10:58):
Greg was saying, there's there's the Do I get a
mushy card? Do I get get a funny card? Do
you get both? You know it's it's it is, it's
it's tough. Yeah, you know it's and then well, I
was gonna give give away a dude secret, but I
feel like the guys will turn on me and say,

(11:19):
come on, you, you can't do that.

Speaker 6 (11:21):
Let's hear it.

Speaker 12 (11:23):
Now.

Speaker 4 (11:24):
Look I've done it.

Speaker 3 (11:25):
Okay, I mean I've done it.

Speaker 4 (11:27):
Do it. I don't want to betray our gender, you know.
I mean, but it's uh, does are you giving a
secret away? Like a big one?

Speaker 3 (11:38):
Well, I mean, let's.

Speaker 6 (11:41):
Just tell all the women to stop listening real quick.

Speaker 3 (11:42):
Okay, ladies, could you all find something to do?

Speaker 6 (11:45):
So talk about football only right now?

Speaker 4 (11:48):
Right, little football to coming your way? And right so
hunting yeah, yeah, something about.

Speaker 6 (11:56):
That and motor oil only viscosity of dish.

Speaker 4 (12:01):
I will just tell you that that this is going
to be a bit of a relationship hack, but at
the same time, it will be giving away way one
of our secrets. Okay, okay, So I'm going to help
some men, well, but I'm also gonna it's if it
could go either way, the the handwritten note versus.

Speaker 3 (12:23):
The storeball card. That is that's good. Now, I do
know to the car well, I do know.

Speaker 4 (12:32):
That is. Let me tell you listen, listen here, here, there, here.
The life hack is this, The live hack is this,
and then the truth the relationship hack is if you
mess up and forget the card, yeah, grab something doing
a handwritten note, and sometimes, unless she's savvy, she will

(12:57):
be touched and you can sell her own that you
cared so much that you took the time to write
your own message to her, versus going by in some card.

Speaker 1 (13:06):
Sure.

Speaker 4 (13:08):
Now, the truth of the matter is we do that
when we forget to buy card.

Speaker 3 (13:11):
Okay, we look at the card and act like we
made it right.

Speaker 4 (13:15):
Yes, right, yeah, that that's that's the part I didn't
want to let out most times. That really isn't the
man in your life you're caring more. It's really him
forgetting and that he came up with that at the
last minute, right, Okay, So so that but that can
be extremely effective, you know, especially if you'll really get
in there and go mush. And if you are stealing
the material off a card. Make sure there's words in

(13:37):
there that they know you will not yeah, yeah, yeah,
you better take those out. Yeah yeah, be careful not
using the word you're not sure if it's meaning yeah,
that's the one, or.

Speaker 3 (13:53):
Don't have to worry about that with mine.

Speaker 6 (13:55):
Like I will love you ceaselessly.

Speaker 4 (14:03):
Oh well, baby, did you you did not? You know?
I thought about getting you a card. I did, but
I thought to myself when I remembered that I'd forgotten it,
I thought about to myself, how much more to me
if I just sit there and wrote how I really felt.
That's it, Yeah, just a letter from you, like when
I used to write your love letters back before I
knew that you know, you would finally give a maror man.
You know, when when I was pursuing you and I

(14:24):
would write you don't and you know, but a lot
of times that that really it's effective, But let's be honest,
most of the time it's because we realized your running. Baby.
Thank you so much for this personal card you wrote
to me on a legal pant.

Speaker 12 (14:47):
Hey.

Speaker 4 (14:48):
I got inspired and I grabbed the first thing I
saw because I didn't want these words to leave. That's
the back of an envelope. Honey. I'm not trying to
say this took away a little bit. But from the
desk of Rick Burgess.

Speaker 11 (15:12):
Question is AI is what if I use a little
bit of help, this little helping You need help from
your heart I'm entering the prompt like, write a very
nice and kind Valentine. I'm starting already Valentine's letter from
my wife.

Speaker 6 (15:29):
I love her. Be funny, that's not too funny.

Speaker 3 (15:33):
Yeah, don't use ceaseless.

Speaker 6 (15:35):
Don't use ceasingly. Make it kind of stupid. Make it
kind of stupid. All right, we'll see how it goes.

Speaker 4 (15:46):
I give my wife a very kind note. That sounds
like someone who didn't do well in school.

Speaker 6 (15:52):
Given short. Yeah, it would not be long.

Speaker 8 (15:56):
I embarrassed my wife last night and didn't even know it,
but as we were leaving dinner, we look over and
she says, hey, that's our eye doctor.

Speaker 3 (16:04):
And I looked over and I'm like, oh.

Speaker 8 (16:05):
Yeah, I said like I had two of the kids,
two of her kids with her, and she was sitting
down at a booth and and so we go up
and and then when we stand up, she sees us
and we go, hey, how.

Speaker 4 (16:16):
You doing this?

Speaker 3 (16:17):
One?

Speaker 13 (16:18):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (16:18):
Oh and uh and I and she said, hey, how
are y'all?

Speaker 14 (16:22):
I said good, I said here we saw you and
so yeah, because she was our doctor, and I thought
it cracked her up.

Speaker 4 (16:37):
I thought I did.

Speaker 3 (16:40):
And it was it was raining, good night.

Speaker 4 (16:43):
It was raining.

Speaker 8 (16:44):
Of course I didn't run in the rain, but I
told her, I said, hey, let me go grab the truck.
She was holding a carry out and all I said,
let me go grab the truck.

Speaker 3 (16:50):
I'll be right back. So I didn't. I didn't run.
I got really wet even though that.

Speaker 8 (16:54):
By the way, there's a survey that if you run
in the rain, you actually get more wet than if
you just.

Speaker 4 (16:59):
Maybe Dad was just yeah, it was just being logical
and maybe he knew something.

Speaker 8 (17:03):
Everything splashing up on you and all that. So anyway,
I get back in. I get back in the truck
and she said, I am so embarrassed. And I said,
what do you mean you're embarrassed? She said, I cannot
believe you. You need to add this to your most
embarrassing moments. And I'm like what, I said, what do
you mean? She said, you said we saw you and
I'm like, yeah, I owned her. You know, it did

(17:23):
not so you see things differently.

Speaker 4 (17:25):
It did not on it. She was like.

Speaker 3 (17:29):
She didn't know what to do.

Speaker 8 (17:29):
Yeah, And I said, she said, then you left me
at the door, just standing there thinking about it.

Speaker 4 (17:34):
Look good, it looking right? See you later? Yeah, yeah,
And I was like thinking on it. She said, no,
her kids didn't even know what to.

Speaker 6 (17:42):
Do, knew what to do.

Speaker 3 (17:44):
Here's this old man.

Speaker 4 (17:46):
Why is this man making this? Is this what offward me?
She said, you? We we saw you. That's what you
went with? Terrible, that's terrible. Just said, hey, how you doing?
I thought it kind of got god thought it kind
of tickled her. She said that was not her being tickled.
That was her very uncomfortably not knowing.

Speaker 6 (18:05):
What to do.

Speaker 3 (18:06):
You just made her night awkward.

Speaker 4 (18:08):
Yes, you did.

Speaker 15 (18:10):
Back when.

Speaker 14 (18:13):
She said you and you and I, she said, you do,
Hey saw you?

Speaker 4 (18:18):
We saw you.

Speaker 3 (18:19):
Doctor person Sometimes less.

Speaker 6 (18:23):
You work with eyes because you're an eye dog.

Speaker 4 (18:26):
Terry had taught me and did not going back in
there and trying to make it better.

Speaker 12 (18:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (18:35):
Yeah, I hope you don't ever see Terry's kind of collegist.
All right, we'll be right now.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
This is the Rick Burgess Show, all right.

Speaker 4 (18:47):
So most Americans, Look, we've been aware of Anthony Fauci
since the COVID pandemic. I mean, we got so sick
of his little self. Uh, you know, it really took
off in twenty twenty. But doctor Richard Ebright, who is
a molecular biologist from Rutgers University has had Fauci on
his radar since two thousand and one on the anthrax scare.

(19:11):
You remember that, after which Dick Cheney empowered him and
the NIAID with the authority and the funding for biodefense
once reserved solely for the Department of Defense. Yes, I
didn't know all that, But the latest episode of Matt
Keebi's documentary series, The Cover Up, We're gonna he joins
doctor Ebright is he walks us through a series of

(19:35):
embarrassments that begins with the recreation of the deadly nineteen
eighteen Spanish flu and culminates with the coming of COVID nineteen.
So this has a much longer history than I ever realized.
But together Matt Kbi and Richard Ebright will connect the
dots and trace the funding, giving all of us the

(19:56):
answers we've been demanding for years about the dark research
and the fraud and the corruption around mister Anthony Fauci. Now,
right now, if you want to watch episode four, The
Cover Up, Smoking Gun on Blaze TV. They released that today.
If you want to become a subscriber, good time to

that be live or archive, all those options are at
Rick Burgess Show dot Com. All right, so I know
that none of us like to talk about taxes. It's
that time of year you're starting you know. You know

(21:42):
I've noticed too, that was talking to you know, big
time rush about this isn't there some sort of rule
that people are supposed to get all your tax stuff
to you by a certain day. I mean, you know,
you really can't even do your taxes and be responsible
and try to get them turned in early a lot

(22:03):
of times because you can get people to send you
what they're supposed to send you. Fact, do you ever
have any rolling in in March? And I'm like, March,
you're killing me. I thought I had all this ready
to go, but this also is a time for I mean,
come on, some of you. You're you're at odds with
the with the RS, aren't you. Oh what a terrible feeling,
What a terrible, terrible feeling. Well, here's two things you

(22:25):
don't want to do.

Speaker 3 (22:26):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (22:27):
You need to stop acting like a tax evader because
they they hate that. Okay. Also, do not contact the
I R S without an advocate of some kind. You
do not contact them directly. They'll they'll DeVore you.

Speaker 3 (22:40):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (22:41):
So here's what you want to do. Go to t
n USA dot com slash big vox.

Speaker 3 (22:48):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (22:48):
Also the link is at Rick Burgess show dot com.
Under sponsors. You can call them to one eight hundred
and nine five eight one thousand now let me let
me tell you about Tax Network USA. They have a
prefer direct line to the Irs. Okay, so they know
the deal, they know which agents you want to avoid,
and they know the ones that are a little more
willing to work with you.

Speaker 3 (23:09):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (23:10):
Now this is if you owe the Irs ten thousand
or you owe ten million, okay, anywhere or anything in between.

Speaker 12 (23:16):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (23:16):
They've already taken care of over a billion dollars worth
of tax issues for other clients, so talking to them
is free. There's no obligation, so you might as well
at least listen to what they have to say. Call
one eight hundred and nine to five eight one thousand,
and now they become your your advocate, their attorneys, their strategists.
They work to resolve this problem. So now you get

(23:37):
it off of you. You can stop all this. You know
that black cloud hanging over you. So go right now
to TNUSA dot com slash big Vox or go to
Rick Burgess show dot com under sponsors and just get
this done. Get this.

Speaker 3 (23:48):
You got all your tax stuff done?

Speaker 4 (23:49):
You not done?

Speaker 3 (23:51):
I mean in order? Have you got all your stuff?

Speaker 16 (23:53):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (23:53):
Yeah, I got pile of document adler. I knew I didn't.
You didn't have to answer.

Speaker 6 (23:57):
I got my receipts in a bucket right now.

Speaker 3 (24:00):
Are y'all good about it? Do y'all keep up? You
still pretty good?

Speaker 4 (24:03):
Are you neat? Are we talking? We were talking? Grocery bag?
What are we talking? No?

Speaker 1 (24:09):
No, no, no.

Speaker 4 (24:10):
Box, large envelope, red buckets, Manila.

Speaker 8 (24:18):
I go shoe box in a second, if you don't
watch really your shoe box, guy, Yeah, if I need
to just make sure it doesn't get lost, stay on
top of it, but don't get behind.

Speaker 4 (24:27):
Are your buckets?

Speaker 6 (24:28):
Yeah, okay, I recommend it's very messy.

Speaker 4 (24:30):
Yeah, Greg, your Manila folder. Okay, your shoe box.

Speaker 8 (24:35):
I'll go envelopes in a shoe box sometimes and then
sometimes I just in the safe. I just have a
stack of I know this like this stuff is taxes
for the year.

Speaker 4 (24:44):
As we keep up with it. Do you ever get
a little confused, like when there's like a certain deal
where they keep sending you so many things and you
think it's only one of these what the what the
the guy needs or the woman who does your taxes
or some of you I know can do your self. Yeah,
not something I would ever attempt. If there's anything that's
not my area, that'd be that.

Speaker 6 (25:06):
But I have to do so much.

Speaker 11 (25:07):
I don't do my own taxes, but I have to
do so much for them to do my taxes. I
almost feel like who's doing the taxes here? Whose taxes
are doing?

Speaker 6 (25:16):
Who's Texas?

Speaker 4 (25:17):
Right? Yeah? Right?

Speaker 3 (25:19):
So I was going to the grocery store and doing
self check out?

Speaker 6 (25:22):
Right, yeah?

Speaker 3 (25:23):
Should I just what's going on? Well, you don't like that,
do you?

Speaker 10 (25:26):
Greg?

Speaker 4 (25:26):
No? And like I say, if I got a couple items,
no problem, but I don't. I'm not hohle buggy. I'm
not doing it.

Speaker 11 (25:33):
If there's not a bagger at the you know, the
normal checkout, do y'all walk over to the side and
start bagging your own stuff or you just well you
just watch her do it.

Speaker 4 (25:42):
Most places where I go there, they're there on top
of it. As it comes off, they go ahead and
bag it. So you really, now if they let it
pile up, I'll jump around. You gotta jump around. No adler,
just talk that is, I know what you do speedy,
because I know you can't handle actually rings it up anything.
It's so awkward. Help you. But I will tell you.
This female cashier starts bagging your groceries and nobody's helping her.

(26:06):
That's a terrible feelings. And you're like, am I Am
I a BIP If I get involved right now, I
know what you like for me to, I always get in.
You know what I hate is when you're not doing
it because you don't know what to do and an
older man looks at you like you let me tell
you first. For me at my age, now it's hard
for me to hind up find an older man.

Speaker 3 (26:24):
But that's true. There was the older man.

Speaker 4 (26:26):
Yeah, now I'm the one. Now the young man are
looking at me, going, well, he's not doing it. Go
on Senior Citizen's Day because there's a lot in there
that you're actually since we're barely into that, we're like
the youngest one there. Yes. But now, back when I
was a grocery bagger. Oh, here we go. This is
back in the eighties. Youre talking about food world. There
was an art to it. First of all, the bags
were paper. Yeah, I missed them so much. There was

(26:49):
the paper bag. I mean there was a technique. And
once you got the technique down, oh, we were up
there like a final.

Speaker 3 (26:55):
Old machine and you would actually put things where they
go and.

Speaker 4 (26:57):
COEs together and everything. Would you if you could turn
it up side down, pull the bag off and it
stayed stacked.

Speaker 7 (27:02):
Right.

Speaker 4 (27:02):
Here's another one. What about when there is a bagging
person and they look at you, like with a carton
of milk, So you want me to put this in a bag?
Do you carry it out by hand?

Speaker 12 (27:11):
Or do you go?

Speaker 6 (27:11):
Of course I got to handle.

Speaker 3 (27:13):
I usually just say I'm fine milk.

Speaker 4 (27:15):
I usually bag, but like drinks, like you know, soft
drinks and stuff.

Speaker 3 (27:19):
I know, really, what what do you know? You walking
up with a holding.

Speaker 1 (27:24):
The bo.

Speaker 4 (27:27):
The plastic handle? What about deturgent? If they sit here down?
I don't bagg you don't you carried around?

Speaker 3 (27:37):
That's weird.

Speaker 6 (27:38):
Do I feel like the bag is going to break?

Speaker 17 (27:41):
Then?

Speaker 8 (27:41):
I said, well, I'll tell you sometimes I'll get it
bag because for some reason, I want to try to
challenge myself.

Speaker 4 (27:47):
Can I get it all in one take? When I
get and got, I've got stuff all the way up
to my handful, Like why not just to trip if
I have to take two trips? Like a look, yeah,
I start doing this, I get my hand, my fingers.
Before I was that guy you know you ever send
him go to a chicken house and catch chickens. They're

(28:07):
around the lad Yes, and they walk out. That's me.

Speaker 3 (28:10):
Have you ever had it where you messed up though?

Speaker 4 (28:11):
In the bags? A couple of them are too heavy
and it's really hurt your handbag. Yeah, but if I
have to go back two trips, I just feel like
a failure. Yeah, and I'll tell you talking about the cash,
you're doing it. Some of them put more in the bag. No,
you don't have to use that many. You find yourself
coaching since you were world class backer, you know I
am qualified back of the day.

Speaker 3 (28:30):
Are you you thinking you should pretty good at.

Speaker 18 (28:34):
See?

Speaker 4 (28:34):
We were just there, wasn't none of this sitting there
and all that. It came offline. By the way, I've
got a new thing that I'm doing because nobody expects
me to say yes when they ask if I want
them to walk to the car. I'm starting to say,
oh no, but God looks up. He's already looking to
the next person because you want me to have absolutely.

Speaker 2 (28:51):
Handle.

Speaker 4 (28:51):
Look, I'm just messing.

Speaker 6 (28:54):
Start doing that because they offer me. I'm like, buddy,
look at me. I'm fit. Okay, i am fit.

Speaker 8 (28:59):
I will tell you one line or cashier that has
like spooked me to where I won't even offer is costco.
I mean they have a system where you better step back.
I mean you better step back. And it's almost like
they're insulted if you even tried.

Speaker 6 (29:13):
To leave it. Leave it in the car, leave it
there in the car.

Speaker 4 (29:18):
Another place you have, you have no choices. The pig,
the pig, the pig, the car. Yeah back when again
my bagging days, we can actually if we took it
to the car, they would tip you, right.

Speaker 11 (29:30):
And then they started putting badges on people that says
no tips, please.

Speaker 6 (29:35):
Fell off.

Speaker 4 (29:36):
Let me tell you something down there by the farm
that there's no there's no sign that says no tips.
You've looked for it.

Speaker 3 (29:42):
No, No, I messed it, not messed up, because it
was it was whatever.

Speaker 4 (29:46):
You know. I could tell the kid and he just
I wanted to tip him in and I could have.
He just said, there there's no choice, I'm taking it. Well,
I didn't have. I was hoping i'd have like a
five or something like that. I didn't one. And so no.
On the other hand, I want well, now apparently the
words got out. Now when I shut up down there,
they all come out, follow me around. They're racing. Yeah,

(30:07):
and one guy was looking at you. I was here first,
and I was, no, not everybody thinks that they're I mean,
they can get a man. I was like, man, but
it's fine. I felt bad about the Walmart pick up
and it was like a rainy, cold day and I asked,
I said, are you all allowed to be TV?

Speaker 3 (30:21):
He said no, yeah, sometimes you get that.

Speaker 19 (30:24):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (30:24):
In fact, let me ask you this, are y'all have
y'all mastered? Have y'all mastered when you're going down and
you're ready to check out, making sure that you don't
get it behind the wrong person traffic. I can spot
the automobile that I don't want to be behind. Okay,
but but you know when you put to multiple and
you're here, you're here on a six lane road and

(30:45):
you had red light? Which car to get behind? The
grocery stories is very much like that. And I'll and
I'll just tell you I've got I've got I've got
a no no no rule. You know, I'm sorry. But
if you make the bad choice and you're like, dang it,
yeah about you tell about upon lady got out behind it.
The old guy one day Oh God love him. Oh
he had a gift card and it wouldn't enough on it.

(31:07):
They couldn't cover it with the gift card. So then
he had to dig in his pocket and he pulls
out a check book, starts writing, and he don't ride fast.
I thought, this worst case scenario. Put on my bill, Pops,
get out of the way, and I'll pick it up.
I've done that before. How much how much are we Seriously?
I do not have this guy do not pulling things

(31:27):
out of the out of the of the car. Please
know how much we talking? You know, usually I'll just say,
just put it on mine.

Speaker 8 (31:33):
I haven't brought this up. This happened to me, and
I thought about you, Rick. I was at the pharmacy
and we just needed something. We had something called in
and this lady in front of me, she was sobbing.
She was just like there was a problem with running
her insurance or something.

Speaker 4 (31:52):
She had everybody backed up.

Speaker 8 (31:54):
Oh boy, And I looked at the lady, I said,
how much we are we talking here?

Speaker 4 (31:58):
What are we doing? What's gonna do? Oh my gosh,
you must have been late. You have somewhere to be.
It's cold. We had been double header.

Speaker 8 (32:06):
I was done right, and she told me, I'm like,
that's what we're that's what we're doing.

Speaker 3 (32:10):
Back shut down, over there, We're over this.

Speaker 4 (32:13):
So you expected a big total, Yeah, I thought maybe.
I mean there was a major problem, a big toe
five bucks. She told me the price. I said, let's go,
let's go. I got it. I gotta go, We gotta go,
we gotta keep this thing moving. It's like the people
behind me were.

Speaker 3 (32:27):
Like, well, no, you almost felt like that you it's
a negotiation.

Speaker 4 (32:32):
You're a hostage. Yeah, and you're almost saying what what
would it take for me to be free? I just
wanted to know just how can I how can we
get this going again? I think we all have a
real problem with with the lines. I know, I think
we have to accepted there's times you have to wait. Yeah,
I just that's not a good situation for us. We'll
be ready back.

Speaker 1 (32:51):
This is the Rick Burgess Show. They are the uncles
your parents warned you about the rat Rgis show.

in your show as well.

Speaker 3 (33:35):
A lot of fun.

Speaker 4 (33:36):
Thanks for the feedback. It's always helpful and funny as well.
All right, So a couple of things to be aware
of yesterday's Wednesday Bible study. The archive is available on
the podcast and on the YouTube channel. We started the
Book of Job yesterday, and boy do we get up off.

Speaker 3 (33:55):
And running, off and running.

Speaker 4 (33:58):
So we dealt with the first twelve versus and one
of the most talked about and discussed and you know,
I don't know I would say debated, but I don't
know what you would be debating it.

Speaker 3 (34:12):
It's so crystal clear.

Speaker 4 (34:14):
You may be going, well, I see what's going on,
but dog going And I'm not sure I like it.
I guess you could do that, but I'm not sure
that it's that difficult to to follow. But it led
to a great discussion yesterday. If you missed that, go
catch that on the archives today. Also, I was kind
of put a little piece offering out today here. You know,

(34:36):
we got this ongoing thing about breakfast and how we've
had to rearrange that, and you know, we lost our
we lost our gig our deal of the free breakfast,
which is always a dandy hurt. Yeah, it lost weight. Yeah,
and you know you would have you would have thought that,
you know, since we got down to a smaller group
now that you know that would be there be savings.

(34:58):
But but anyway, we under stand, and so we've all
kind of teamed up on breakfast and uh really we
discovered that of all of us in a bit of
us a shocker, the most sting has been Gregg didn't
hear the speech on teaming up? Yeah, well, just Greg,
it's one of those things about like I don't know
if you heard have you ever heard the term a

(35:22):
joyful giver, you know where where you just you don't
give because people are telling you to give, You give
because it's just a good thing to do, you know,
it's not part of the rules. And uh so you know,
I know the thing that he really really likes. I
saw it in there. I'm not going to eat it.
And I went in there today and I brought some
of his favorite protein bars in and I just slid

(35:42):
one over on.

Speaker 3 (35:43):
His desk today.

Speaker 4 (35:44):
Does that mean you want Jimmy Ding? Maybe it does
give you one protest one jimmying. Well, you know how
you used to do. Remember we got you membery by
being the kids who took your lunch to school. Sometimes
you remember that, remember the lunch box days, and and
so you go there, chips, sometimes you sit. Now, let
me tell you one thing that it was my favorite,
my best trade ever made in no way, Mom's listening

(36:06):
right now, right, best trade I've ever made. I went
to lunch and for some reason, I don't know why,
but Scott Putt Chase, his nickname was put I don't
think we ever fully knew why, but I don't know.
And his mama had made him like a roast beef sandwich,

(36:27):
and like the roast beef they had it for dinner
the night before. Yeah, And I was over with Deli
lunch meet, and for some reason, I don't know what,
maybe his mama was was trying to get too many
days out of it and he was tired of it.
But I can still remember the taste of this sandwich.
I still remember. And I swapped I swapped a bide

(36:48):
off the rack Deli ham sandwich.

Speaker 12 (36:51):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (36:51):
There was no Delis in the grocery tours, and we
were growing up.

Speaker 4 (36:54):
It was just hanging there by Oscar Myer and all that,
and Mama grabbed some ham that was there and would
make us a ham sandwich, you know, because you know,
let's face it, Gentiles and southern Gentiles, we'll eat our port.

Speaker 3 (37:08):
You don't have to worry about our We covered the port.

Speaker 4 (37:12):
And so so I had the ham sandwich, and I
convinced Putt Chase to trade me his homemade roast beef
sandwich for for a ham sandwich that that came from
like Oscar Myers, they don't even make ham. I don't
remember what the brand was, Craft or something. I don't
remember it was. It was one of those brands. Yeah,
I can see it. And and I remember sitting there

(37:34):
eating that roastby sandwich, and I thought, what a great trade.
That's all I'm saying is up here we trade. Up here,
we trade you. But you have to want to trade
these two here we're on.

Speaker 6 (37:45):
Let's do around.

Speaker 4 (37:46):
You have to do around, Rob.

Speaker 6 (37:47):
And I've got some Italian sausage in my backpack.

Speaker 4 (37:50):
I don't, first of all, want nothing, did you say
I got?

Speaker 6 (37:52):
I just remembered I had brought some Italian sausage. It's
in my backpack.

Speaker 3 (37:56):
What you mean by Italian sausage?

Speaker 6 (37:58):
Italians like Italians sas.

Speaker 3 (38:00):
Like you got pasta with it?

Speaker 2 (38:02):
Is it?

Speaker 4 (38:02):
What are we doing?

Speaker 6 (38:03):
I just it's just sausage.

Speaker 3 (38:05):
Well you're not going to get and it's still in your.

Speaker 4 (38:11):
Refrigerator.

Speaker 6 (38:12):
Yeah, yeah, here you go.

Speaker 4 (38:14):
Somebody's eating that.

Speaker 3 (38:16):
I'm about to eat it eating Nobody wants that?

Speaker 6 (38:18):
Well, y'all just jealous. U.

Speaker 4 (38:21):
Yeah, I don't have a lot to bring to the
table other than I've got some really good protein bars. Yeah,
well I'm good.

Speaker 3 (38:26):
I have a have the granola, but that that seems
to be made fun of. Have a box of oatmeal
I've been going to You're more than welcome to.

Speaker 4 (38:35):
Have a cheese. Well you got cottage cheese and fruit?
What about Jimmy Dean Jimmy, Well, you ain't gonna throw
that out there though?

Speaker 3 (38:41):
Is it a single? You see?

Speaker 4 (38:43):
Why don't you bring more than one? Then people be
trying to get them.

Speaker 6 (38:46):
You don't try. This sausage is really good.

Speaker 4 (38:49):
Nobody's eating.

Speaker 6 (38:50):
I cut it into medallion.

Speaker 4 (38:51):
Nobody wants the medallions into medallions.

Speaker 3 (38:55):
I'll tell you, nobody wants that.

Speaker 6 (38:57):
I just ate something is good.

Speaker 4 (38:59):
Let me tell you, if you would have said I've
got an Italian sausage biscuit, oh yow, you'd have some takers.

Speaker 6 (39:06):
That's different.

Speaker 8 (39:06):
I will say this, I think we need a show
where everybody brings what they put, like what they brought,
and puts it right here on the counter, and we
just put it on the counter and.

Speaker 4 (39:17):
Then we shoot.

Speaker 3 (39:17):
We shoot baskets and then the winner gets to take.

Speaker 11 (39:20):
What they just breakfast ball bash that's, by the way.

Speaker 3 (39:25):
I like that a lot.

Speaker 4 (39:28):
I will say this.

Speaker 3 (39:29):
You get me working on a shot and the break
if if you think breakfast.

Speaker 8 (39:33):
If you think Jimmy Dane was hard to get, Don
Day brought peanuts, hey, and he has been tearing them about.

Speaker 4 (39:39):
And Don's a good man and a good peanuts Yeah.

Speaker 3 (39:42):
Hey, they're in his office on his desk, and.

Speaker 4 (39:45):
He looked like some of them.

Speaker 6 (39:46):
Greg Don's a good man, whether he brings peanuts or not.
I just don't forget that.

Speaker 4 (39:50):
That's what I'm saying. He happens to have peanuts. How
many years has he been doing that for? You spend
more th only here, we'll great, we've been to the
whole time we've been here.

Speaker 3 (40:05):
Now, yeah, you eat a lot of his peanuts and
what have you done for him?

Speaker 4 (40:10):
Uh, just enjoyed those peanuts. The top of the hour.

Speaker 1 (40:17):

(41:36):

had to have one of the T shirt ton yesterday.
Was that ye so anyway, So welcome back to a
brand new hour. We're glad that you guys are here.
We have much to cover coming up. Valentine's Day is tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (41:52):
So it is.

Speaker 4 (41:53):
We'll try to be sure we keep you posting on that. Yesterday,
the Gary Sings the Love Songs Get He tried to
call me a few times yesterday.

Speaker 3 (42:02):
I was tied up every time.

Speaker 4 (42:04):
I knew he was probably wanting to have a word
with me about that, so I just kind of avoided
him yesterday. Hey, what do y'all do? I mean, what
are y'all doing? I mean, nice people come up to
me everywary won't mean the same to him. What are
y'all doing? He needs to bring his keyboard and do
a couple of songs a lot. By the way, if
you want to meet Gary in person, you can meet

(42:25):
him at the Turkey Federation. This is the big national
gathering of Turkey hunters all over in Nashville this weekend. Yeah,
at the Opera Land Gaylord Hotel. There.

Speaker 8 (42:39):
I think he's only Friday and then he's leaving early Saturday,
but he won't be the whole time.

Speaker 4 (42:45):
He did.

Speaker 8 (42:46):
He did reply to my text because I sent him
the love songs that you know he sings and all that,
God Am Mighty, that's what he that's that's what he
that's that was all the time.

Speaker 4 (42:57):
And I keep telling him that he shouldn't say that.
He says, Hey, I ain't saying that. I'm saying gotta
g O T T a God of Mady And I'm
like you, but people think you is that where that
came from?

Speaker 6 (43:09):
And it's Lottie.

Speaker 3 (43:10):
Yeah, I don't know what that is. Yeah.

Speaker 8 (43:12):
So he's going to be at booth back to the
Turkey Federation Deal thirteen forty eight one three four eight.
That's the booth at the Gaylord Opperland show starts today,
goes through Saturday, and he'll be there Friday set doing that.

Speaker 4 (43:26):
Yeah. And for those of you that are emailing me
wondering about the next Man Church conference in Panama City,
is Gary coming to that?

Speaker 3 (43:35):
That answer is no. That'd be a new Hey.

Speaker 4 (43:37):
If y'all find I'm out and and there's planes following everywhere,
I mean, it wouldn't be nothing but a greasy spot
in a cann of Copenhagen. You remember I'm saying that.
So you know, he's made the declaration that he will
not get on the plane again. So he's not doing that,
so he's out, but so he will not be there.
I think that Gary basically came to the conference that

(43:59):
was nearest his home and complained about it not being
near enough. That's yeah, So anything if he complained about
driving to another county or two, you're not going to
get him to another state. That's so. So anyway, so
that that's not happening, all right. So I was noticing this,
you know, and and it came up. We had another

(44:24):
story about, you know, proper etiquette on an airline speaking
of flying. So this is this is kind of a debate,
and we've all known this, and of course, again Speedy,
anytime we have you an awkward situations, we know.

Speaker 3 (44:38):
It's it's this.

Speaker 4 (44:40):
This, this particular problem that is a story today has
gotten so difficult that I have actually changed the seat
that I'm picking.

Speaker 12 (44:50):
Now.

Speaker 4 (44:51):
There was a time when I was window seat guy
all the way. But as I as I've gotten older, okay,
as I've gotten old, we even deal with this when
we're doing conferences, the fact that older men tend to
go to the restroom more. Okay, you know, I'm at
that point now in my life, like if everything I'm doing,

(45:13):
I'm going there's a restroom over there in case I
need it, you know. And so I now have moved
to an all seat person for this problem alone. Because
this person is saying, I've noticed if you're a window
seat person and you're on a long flight and you
have to go to the bathroom. And what this person
was noticing, and it became this big discussion on Reddit,

(45:35):
is what's the etiquette here? Because you've ever been over
in that window seat and you need to go, and
you look and somebody's either asleep next to you, or
somebody's got their laptop open and they've got their doing work,
and you've got to say, hey, I'm sorry, train coming through.
Because you don't get up out of an airplane seat
and get out to go to the restroom smoothly, cause

(45:59):
we're all going to be we're all crowded here. And
the person said, for instance, they were on a three seater,
which is the worst. Now you got two people, they said,
the middle seat person seemed to be very accommodating and
actually stood up and backed up in their seat to
give me room. All person would didn't move, maybe work around,
maybe crawl over them and uh yeah. So now can

(46:19):
you imagine if say Dank is sitting next to you
the wrapper, of course i'd have the whole run up.
Of course, she'd want the plane to accommodate her. Look,
I'm glad that she's comfortable in her own skin. Well, frankly,
she's comfortable in ten people's skin. But I'm just saying, but,
I mean, but she still has got to has to
understand that the society can't just accommodate her on every move,

(46:42):
on the choices she makes. But in this case, yeah,
in this case, we're talking about a normal situation where
you're just sitting there. I mean, guys, you don't have
to be all that big. It's hard to get out
of these seats and get out there. You don't have
like at a ball game, when you try to get
up and go to the bathroom, you got to walk
in front and everybody has to stand down there.

Speaker 8 (47:01):
Yeah, yeah, sure, Normally you have to work with those
around you though. You can't just get up to your point.
You have to announce, Hey, I'm so big, but can
I get through please? I'm so sorry. Have you ever
done that? I am so sorry. I'm so sorry.

Speaker 4 (47:15):
Yeah, because, let's face it, guys, it's socially awkward for
another human to climb over you are for you to
climb over another human. Yeah, so I'm moving too the ouse.
Now I've moved to the ousea for this problem alone.
You can get up, then that's that's a much better
bathroom situation. You would get up and let them buy.
Are you are?

Speaker 3 (47:32):
You turn your legs person and let them buy. I'm
I'm an get up and let them buy.

Speaker 6 (47:36):
If you're in I'll get up. If you're in the middle,
maybe turn your legs. The rapper dank the most that.

Speaker 11 (47:44):
She's been posting pictures of herself in cars to prove
that she can get into cars, but people are now
pointing out that she's actually hanging out of most of
the car, mostly like halfway shoved into it.

Speaker 4 (47:57):
Okay, that's that'sn't count.

Speaker 11 (48:02):
They're saying, like Buckley's seat belt, girl, then we'll know
and I don't think that's happening.

Speaker 3 (48:07):
You will never get that door closed that she's standing so.

Speaker 6 (48:10):
Either like Plato coming out of one of those machines.

Speaker 4 (48:13):
Well, you know, well, you know what we're talking about.
Everybody's we've all had that that piece of luggage that
we that we thought we could get one more thing in.
Oh yeah, we're trying to get the trunk closed. Right,
we had that long trip, right exactly. So So anyway,
so the people are on this discussion for this very reason.
They're saying, Look, we're all starting to now the ale seat,
they're saying, is becoming the most sought after seat. Yeah, well,

(48:35):
I'm at the point like if I go to the movie,
I'm I'm I'm sitting on the last seat. Yeah. Really,
you know before you want to go into the middle
so you can see better. Yeah, no, I want to
be out there on the outside because of what you
just said. I hate that when you're sitting there in
the middle of the movie and you're like, I hope
I wish this movie right, here's a good time to
go to the restroom and you look at everybody's like, hey, thanks.

Speaker 3 (48:54):
We're all enjoying the movie.

Speaker 4 (48:55):
Now we now here you come, and we all got
to deal with your rear inn in our face because
worse are worse. You can't turn around and go the
other way. Well, I think we all would prefer the butt. Frankly, well,
a good choice I'm gonna ask you, are you rear
in or you turn around when I go out of
a place I'm rear ending. I don't want.

Speaker 2 (49:13):
I can't.

Speaker 4 (49:14):
I can't do that to them. No, well the traffic
stops and there good day. Sure just a second, that
are you doing? Yeah so? And then I'll even go
as far as to touch the top of the other
seats and shuffle and then leaning, and then I realize

(49:35):
now the person is sitting there. It's like, hey, thanks
for you just hit me in the back of the head.
So it's just a terrible situation. But I think what
this person is going. But don't we all feel an
obligation if we're a middle seat and I'll seat that
when window seat person needs to get out, don't don't
we all work in as a team.

Speaker 6 (49:51):
We got to it.

Speaker 4 (49:51):
And they're saying they're no, some people are just sitting
there going work.

Speaker 3 (49:53):
They find your way out. That's because everybody's so wrapped
up in their own little world.

Speaker 6 (49:57):
We're in society.

Speaker 20 (49:59):
We are.

Speaker 3 (50:00):
What about when it's not just once, but it's wise
and then you've declared the road.

Speaker 4 (50:04):
I'm sorry, I know this is the last time. I'm
so sorry. When you start having to announce it. Hey,
so sorry, sorry, yeah.

Speaker 6 (50:10):
And then you see your eye doctor in your eyes,
I see you back.

Speaker 4 (50:15):
We'll be right back.

Speaker 1 (50:19):
This is the Rick Burgess Show, the show that is

(50:42):
willing to search for the answer to why anyone would
drive slow in the left lane, The Rick Bircher's Show.

Speaker 4 (50:51):
We're willing to continue to try. We are thanks for
being with us today. All right, So let me point
you one of the things that should just be a given.
I'm looking at some of you on the text option,
and you're right, common courtesy is just a thing of
the past. You know, honestly, we're living in a time
now where just the basic people don't know how to

(51:12):
act just basic being appropriate. Now, I'm not even talking
about advance four hundred level, you know, how to act socially.
People just we seem to be raising a generation of
people that socially they just have no idea what's appropriate.
But one of the things that also should be a
given is peace of mind. You know, I wish that
we lived in a world where I didn't have to
worry about people breaking into my home or you know,

(51:35):
being on your property, or breaking into your office and
your business. I wish those things were not part of
our life, but unfortunately they are. So bottom line is
get peace of mind just having a great security system.
And no one does it better than simply safe, dot com,
slash big Vox.

Speaker 3 (51:54):
No one does it better.

Speaker 4 (51:55):
Okay, So when you go there, you're going to see
pretty quick that we're going to get you an opportunity
to get fifty percent off on a new security system.
Now that's going to be with one of their monitoring plans.
You get the first month of the monitoring for free,
but you want the monitoring.

Speaker 21 (52:11):
Now.

Speaker 4 (52:11):
This is that live guard protection where the people monitoring
your property, your office, whatever the case may be, they
can interact in real time with anyone that might be
breaking in. But you know what else is good. They
also can see, uh oh we got to pop this burst.
Uh oh there's a fire. We're detecting carbon monoxide in

(52:32):
the in the in the home or the business or whatever.
So oh there's a medical emergency, and they can be
doing this and get help quicker. Okay. So if you'd
like to find out more, go to simplysafe dot com,
slash Big Box. Let me just tell you something, there's
no one better right now there's no long term contracts,
there's no hidden fees. These plans to monitor twenty four

(52:56):
to seven about you know, around a dollar a day,
sixty day satisfaction guarantee. You can install them yourself, no
sitting around waiting on them, you know, installation crew. So
go to simplysafe dot com slash big Vox. Are just
used the link that they have at Rick Burgess Show
dot com under sponsored. There is no safe like simply

(53:17):
safe dot com slash Big Box safe. All right.

Speaker 3 (53:20):
So another thing, you know, this is just the world
that we live in.

Speaker 4 (53:24):
You know, our industry is ever changing, and you know,
and we always want to inform you now there there
is a certain amount of over the years that we've
all been in this industry. It would be kind of
cool if if there was maybe a benefit of doubt
based on you know, our character and the way we've
operated for decades, even before this new endeavor. But a

(53:49):
lot of you have been reaching out in a very
kind way, and appreciate that because it is important to
give us a heads up every time, because you are right,
this doesn't seem right. So when you're dealing with the
world that we live in. Now you've got you've got
your simple broadcast model that has been around, you know
since Marconi invented the spark gap, and that is you know,

(54:12):
we have local commercials that run on the radio affiliates,
then we have network commercials that run. Now, when it
comes to that, the network commercials, we have a say
in the local commercials that each affiliate runs, we have
no say in, okay, unless they ask us to voice it,
then we have a say. But clients that they sell

(54:32):
on their own that don't involve us, we don't have
a say in that, okay. Another thing is the new
world is streaming now that has really you talk about
a wild world. So in the world of streaming, that's
your YouTube, that's your tune in app, that's your podcast
archives every day. Now, when it comes to that, we're

(54:54):
part of a vast network of national spots that run
on multiple shows, multiple content everywhere. However, based on where
we are and you know, as far as our views
and our convictions, we put filters in that should keep

(55:16):
things that we would not want to be associated with
for running on our content. Now, as you can imagine,
just like when you go out to dealing with your
kids on social media and you put in all these
various blockers of things they can't you don't want them
to see or are be exposed to. These evil people
out there, they'll find ways to fool these filters and
move around them to get to them. You have to

(55:38):
always keep upgrading that same way with sponsors. So we've
had some of you give us a heads up lately,
and we sure are thankful that there's been some ads
that have dropped in. Of course, you know, you've got
to have a sense of humor, even yesterday on yesterday's
Bible Study archive, and they're completely inappropriate businesses that we

(55:59):
would not associate with, but the filters were in place
where those ads should not have been on our content.

Speaker 3 (56:06):
It's basically a Bible study.

Speaker 4 (56:08):
However, however, some of these people find a way to
call their spot something that it's not, to get around
the filter. So we had some clients lately that found
a way around our filters, but we have caught that,
we have addressed that and removed it. So thank you
for letting us know. If you see or hears something

(56:29):
that doesn't sound right now, I would love, which most
of you do, to think there must be something wrong here.
Let me inform them not they've decided to sell out
because they don't care about their convictions anymore. Yeah, yeah, right.
So as a matter of fact, the only reason why
there's anything on the Bible Study is because it's archived
in there with everything else it's archived. There's no one

(56:51):
that specifically we don't sponsor sell the Bible Study, but
the selling of our content. Just see it as content,
whatever it may be. So some of those do get
dropped in once the archive starts, so that those things
that you hear that don't sound right, they're not right.
Thanks for letting us know, but I want to explain

(57:12):
it to you. We do have filters in place, but
sometimes these people are not honest about what they're trying
to sell, and they call themselves something that because of
that name they put on them would get through. So
we're addressing that. It's going to be an ever changing battle.
But I will just tell you for survival and for

(57:35):
us to be around for years to come, the streaming
world is part of the game, and so it's get
involved in it or get replaced by it. But you know,
there's always a process of getting it all dialed in.
So thank you for the heads up on that. I'm
embarrassed that any ads like that guid on any of
our content.

Speaker 3 (57:52):
It shouldn't have.

Speaker 4 (57:53):
Even the people who are selling it, they did their job,
but the client was a little deviant on how they
tried to get around that. So so anyway, just wanted
to explain that to you. We were always open. You
certainly can ask questions, what appreciate if you'd ask them,
you know, in the right way, uh, and not not
not not accues before you get the information. But but

(58:17):
thank you for letting us know. And a lot of
you have been very helpful on that. So I did
want to get you an explanation in case you're somebody
that heard or saw those two and didn't let us
know and you kind of think, well, why the world's
out on there. We we always want to be an
open book and let you know, so just just bear
with us as we work through it. But that particular
one we have addressed. We have found the problem, and

(58:37):
thank you for letting us know about it.

Speaker 21 (58:39):
So there you go.

Speaker 4 (58:40):
And then Addler let us know about it recently because
he heard it yourself.

Speaker 2 (58:45):
Yeah, and.

Speaker 4 (58:48):
So we'll be back bottom of the hour. That's not
insurance wait a minute, that's not an insurance company. Bottom
of the hour. More of rick Burgers Show coming your
way right after this.

Speaker 1 (59:05):
This is the rick Burgers Show. The man who informed Dippin'
Dots that they were not in fact the ice queen
of the feature, Rick Burgess.

Speaker 3 (59:32):
Here we go, a brand new day. Thank you for
being with us.

Speaker 4 (59:38):
So actually, as we work our way back, a couple
of things to cover today. Boy this we got a
video to go with it. For those you are watching
in a story. For those of you that are listening,
you know, this is the it's a newly released video.

Speaker 22 (59:53):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (59:53):
And it has it's captured the moment the driver of
an suv escaped from the suv just before the vehicle
was smashed by a Utah Transit Authority passenger train.

Speaker 3 (01:00:09):
This is in Leyton, Utah. It's actually last week, but
we're just now seeing the video. It's out now. I
mean we're going to be inside the locomotive.

Speaker 13 (01:00:18):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (01:00:18):
And it shows the train barreling down on the tracks
toward the railroad crossing. So the train's gonna approach that crossing,
there's a white vehicle that could be partial it's partially
blocking the track and so that you can hear the
train guy the engineers like, hey, come on, come on,
come on, and started blasting the horn. But for some reason,

(01:00:39):
look this train track situation.

Speaker 3 (01:00:41):
I mean, we have we have the video.

Speaker 11 (01:00:45):
Yeah, my Speedy sent me the video that you're talking about,
and it's loading right now. It's like spinning for some
reason on on the website. But I do have the
I found it on Twitter also, so I've got that
red let me see. Yeah, it doesn't have he doesn't
have the inside the cab we see the guy jump out.

(01:01:05):
But you see the guy jump out and it's a
security camera, so like for some reason it doesn't have audio.

Speaker 6 (01:01:11):
But I was thinking I could I could.

Speaker 11 (01:01:12):
Just bring this symbol out here and then Greg, you
can hit the symbol right when the train.

Speaker 6 (01:01:19):
People on the radio get an idea for what it's like.

Speaker 4 (01:01:22):
Yeah, that's a great idea to bring it.

Speaker 3 (01:01:24):
But the deal is, why are we on the track, Greg.

Speaker 4 (01:01:28):
We've all got to get somewhere right.

Speaker 6 (01:01:31):
Then we can watch.

Speaker 4 (01:01:32):
Okay, so this one, this one has no sound, so
Greg will hit the symbol as Greg's gonna hit the
symbol as that's it.

Speaker 6 (01:01:40):
Yeah, just so you know, theater of the mind for
the radio. All right, so here it goes.

Speaker 11 (01:01:45):
Okay, Greg, you got some time because you can see
this guy tries to go under the rail.

Speaker 4 (01:01:50):
What is doing? He went under the.

Speaker 6 (01:01:53):
Track and then into the rail.

Speaker 4 (01:01:56):
Keep going, you might as well go.

Speaker 6 (01:01:59):
Then he backs into.

Speaker 8 (01:01:59):
The I'm so confused why he's doing Why did he go?
So the arms came down, he got in front of
the arms.

Speaker 6 (01:02:08):
There's no other arm.

Speaker 3 (01:02:11):
Well, I'm so here goes.

Speaker 4 (01:02:13):
Get ready?

Speaker 3 (01:02:14):
Get Greg, get ready?

Speaker 4 (01:02:15):
Greg?

Speaker 8 (01:02:16):
Oh my goodness, gracious, and here comes to Drakes.

Speaker 6 (01:02:25):
You guys get the idea.

Speaker 4 (01:02:26):
Yeah, I'm so. I don't know what. I don't know
what's going on here? Did he think here?

Speaker 6 (01:02:34):
Does he think that the arm the straight?

Speaker 4 (01:02:37):
How about this?

Speaker 3 (01:02:37):
If you're going to do what you're doing, just back
through the rail and get out of the way. He
just gave me, Well what is this person?

Speaker 4 (01:02:44):
Do you know what happened? When he didn't? All right?

Speaker 3 (01:02:47):
But why why didn't he just keep going forward?

Speaker 12 (01:02:50):
He had it?

Speaker 4 (01:02:51):
I'm so confused he had it.

Speaker 3 (01:02:53):
I think he don't get ready to get here it
comes again?

Speaker 17 (01:02:56):
All right?

Speaker 8 (01:02:59):
Yes, and if you're if you're the conductor for the train,
you're going you have nothing to do you're like, oh
my gosh, here we go.

Speaker 3 (01:03:05):
Did you see how far that tire flew?

Speaker 23 (01:03:07):
Oh?

Speaker 12 (01:03:08):
So far?

Speaker 4 (01:03:08):
Again? Why didn't drive straight? I guess he paniced, But
even when he backed up, keep going back, rail, just
keep going back through.

Speaker 3 (01:03:16):
How do you know?

Speaker 4 (01:03:17):
Were you a rail maker?

Speaker 3 (01:03:18):
They don't make a word to stop you. How do
you know this for people? Get dru here's the engineer?

Speaker 4 (01:03:22):
Surely? Oh okay, So now we're just we're just coming along.

Speaker 6 (01:03:26):
We can't do My goodness, there is did you hear me?

Speaker 4 (01:03:28):
He's like he's laying on the hord. You didn't. We
didn't need anything that, Greg.

Speaker 3 (01:03:35):
When did you start knowing everything about train rails?

Speaker 6 (01:03:41):
You had it?

Speaker 21 (01:03:43):
Just go?

Speaker 3 (01:03:44):
It's just this has been done on purpose? Is this
want insurance? Papers car?

Speaker 6 (01:03:48):
Did he want a new car?

Speaker 3 (01:03:49):
Well, it seems like you'd be the wrong end of
this insurance.

Speaker 4 (01:03:54):
Pushing through it?

Speaker 3 (01:03:55):
So stupid you won't drive forward? Push on backing up that? Yeah,
I didn't stopping And now that now the person gets out.

Speaker 11 (01:04:02):
Well, he didn't want to scratch his car, so he
didn't want to back through the rails. Greg, here he
comes to train again.

Speaker 3 (01:04:09):
The more we're running about this, I think the more
we learn about this, something's going on here.

Speaker 4 (01:04:14):
He may be right. I mean, I know there's in
the world, but come on, So it's a double arm.

Speaker 3 (01:04:22):
It comes down.

Speaker 8 (01:04:22):
For those of you can't see, it's it's two lanes
on both sides of four lanes total, with a meeting
in between.

Speaker 3 (01:04:29):
And and so the arms come down. He gets in
front of it, so he's on the track.

Speaker 8 (01:04:33):
There's no arms on the other side, of course, And
so instead of just going on through because he's got
plenty of time, he backs up and leaves his front.

Speaker 3 (01:04:40):
You know, two tires on the track. Everybody gets out.

Speaker 4 (01:04:43):
Everybody. The text line says the truck bumped him from
behind and pushed him forward.

Speaker 3 (01:04:48):
That let's not true.

Speaker 11 (01:04:50):
I'll wait a second. I'm reading something here that says
the guy's car was messed up. Look that the truck
is pushing him. Oh my goodness, the truck totally changes it.

Speaker 4 (01:05:04):
Is back. He can't go forward. He stopped the tree.

Speaker 3 (01:05:09):
He can't go forward, and he but he backed up.

Speaker 4 (01:05:12):
How could he do the stop?

Speaker 6 (01:05:14):
Just the reverse on his transmission was working, is what
I'm reading here.

Speaker 3 (01:05:18):
Well, i's case, you could have kept back.

Speaker 4 (01:05:19):
What kind of I drove. I drove for three years
with the automobile that had no no reverse. This had
reverse but no forward, right yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:05:27):
Yes, yes, but if it had reverse, were trying to
take it to a shop.

Speaker 3 (01:05:31):
Okay, that's what No, that's.

Speaker 6 (01:05:32):
What I'm reading.

Speaker 4 (01:05:33):
Look, he says it right there. I mean, you can
tell that's what he's doing. He's pushing him so he
can't go forward.

Speaker 6 (01:05:37):
He panicked.

Speaker 11 (01:05:38):
This is where he really messed up, is when he
panicked and slammed on the brakes right there.

Speaker 4 (01:05:43):
Yeah, I think the guy that would have pushed him
on through the intersection, if he just not put the brake.

Speaker 6 (01:05:46):
He could have rolled it. He could have rolled all
the way through and not.

Speaker 4 (01:05:49):
So he has reversed, but he has no forward.

Speaker 11 (01:05:52):
That's what I'm reading. The truck was pushing him to
a shop. He has reversed, but no forward because the transmissions.

Speaker 4 (01:05:58):
And guess what happened?

Speaker 3 (01:06:00):
All right, So let me ask you a question. These
cars are now so smart?

Speaker 4 (01:06:03):
Okay, like now you're no, I'm just saying, because you
kind of wonder you've hit.

Speaker 3 (01:06:09):
Reverse, why not keep reversing, you think?

Speaker 8 (01:06:11):
But the but the arm is sitting on the back
of the car, so sometimes that that break will come
on and it won't let you go back.

Speaker 12 (01:06:21):
To death.

Speaker 11 (01:06:21):
Although this doesn't clear him from doing it on purpose
though still because this almost adds to it, because you
find out he's got to jump out.

Speaker 4 (01:06:30):
He's gotta jumped out.

Speaker 10 (01:06:31):
Car.

Speaker 6 (01:06:32):
I just hit it with a train and get a
brand new one and not have to pay to fix it.

Speaker 4 (01:06:37):
Oh busted. But can I tell you? But can I
tell you?

Speaker 22 (01:06:42):
What?

Speaker 4 (01:06:43):
When I when I look at this, I think, I
think to myselfs I think to myself, So this person
is the kind of guys that I grew up with.

Speaker 3 (01:06:52):
They would have tried to push me to guys, what
do you do?

Speaker 4 (01:06:54):
You could have made it? Man, we're pushing it through.

Speaker 12 (01:06:59):
What do you do?

Speaker 4 (01:07:00):
You could have made it right?

Speaker 3 (01:07:02):
Just get to the other side because there's not a
train coming back.

Speaker 4 (01:07:05):
You have to admit he's not. He doesn't look like
he's in a hurry.

Speaker 3 (01:07:07):
When he gets out, he's.

Speaker 6 (01:07:11):
Like, Yes, my plan worked. I gonna get a new
jeep chair.

Speaker 4 (01:07:14):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (01:07:14):
Everybody on the Texas screaming back up, Terry.

Speaker 4 (01:07:20):
What he does? Give him room unless it's something malfunction. Well,
I don't know why he put the brakes on because
I now, look, let's go back. The guy shouldn't have
tried to shove him through the intersection. But I mean
that's not very but but still just walking on. I
don't know what to do.

Speaker 3 (01:07:36):
Uh, is anybody a lot of folks are calling insurance fraud.

Speaker 4 (01:07:40):
That's what it looks like. What it looks like.

Speaker 11 (01:07:42):
I'm not saying that's what it is, right, So it's
a good great Greg, your timing is good.

Speaker 21 (01:07:47):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (01:07:47):
Yeah, so you really, Greg, You've been all over the
symbol over there. I got a summer he'son an expert
on train crossing.

Speaker 8 (01:07:54):
Yeah, we've all seen in NASCAR, you know, the emergency
guys they come and they they pushed the car to
get back around to pitt Row whatever.

Speaker 3 (01:08:03):
It's kind of what was going on with that that
white truck. But but man, let me tell you something.

Speaker 8 (01:08:08):
He hit it pretty good because it messed up the
back of the car him trying to get him through again.

Speaker 3 (01:08:12):
It wasn't a gentle tap. Now that this it's everybody
I hung out trying to get me to the shop.

Speaker 4 (01:08:18):
Would you put your rights on for berget? We pushed
you hard to never get through the intersection. I'm like,
maybe you shouldn't have pushed me through the trains.

Speaker 6 (01:08:25):
Or did he just get rear ended.

Speaker 4 (01:08:28):
That's what I'm wondering.

Speaker 6 (01:08:29):
I wonder he just got rear ended because look, you
can see right at the beginning he gets you a ball. Yeah,
like it's almost like that was that might have been
an accident.

Speaker 4 (01:08:36):
So people story about it.

Speaker 6 (01:08:39):
I'm just trying to read it as I figured it out.

Speaker 4 (01:08:41):
He was fully stopped and then got you. It looks
like you got pretty good rear ended.

Speaker 6 (01:08:45):
Into the train, saying this guy has been doing interrance
the whole time.

Speaker 4 (01:08:50):
Little bit right back.

Speaker 1 (01:08:52):
This is the Rick Burgess Show.

Speaker 6 (01:09:05):
I'm chied Chatta no busby. I tried Chatta no locusby. Yes, that's.

Speaker 1 (01:09:14):

Speaker 3 (01:09:22):

Speaker 21 (01:09:37):
We did this together.

So look for those details at the Manchurch dot com.

Speaker 4 (01:10:43):
All right, So I got you, Yeah, I think we're
by the way. I want you guys to know too.
Sidebar unless it you know Fallster or something. I have
a lunch today with JT. What oh can you imagine?
Really he's like.

Speaker 3 (01:10:59):
One we not haveing lunch, I mean, and he's taught,
so he must have some kind of health scare something
wants to talk to him definitely got.

Speaker 4 (01:11:05):
Yeah, I don't know what it is. And we said, hey,
yeah I will. So he's like, we gotta get together
have lunch and uh and I was like, yeah, he goes,
I mean, well to talk about so this thy meeting,
you know, because he's he's he's the ultimate hen. So
either he's got there's some corn good, there's some kind
of corn on the ground that he wants us to
get together and nibble, or he's having some help scare

(01:11:28):
he wants to ask.

Speaker 3 (01:11:28):
That's right, So that one or the one or the other.

Speaker 4 (01:11:32):
All right? So we go to to this the state
of Massachusetts. Okays, it is all right. So we've got
a town. We've got a town there. Uh and I
don't understand this either, and I can't pronounce. You know,
we have a hard enough time with massive Chusetts.

Speaker 6 (01:11:49):
Can you imagine living here?

Speaker 21 (01:11:50):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:11:51):
And it's called is it Worcester, Worchester, Worcester, Worcester.

Speaker 6 (01:11:56):
Say that five times, Worster something.

Speaker 4 (01:12:00):
Yeah, Massachusetts. The city council, now I want you to imagine,
have voted in favor of a resolution to become and
I love the drama we have today that is that
is completely unfounded.

Speaker 3 (01:12:14):
This in the fate world.

Speaker 4 (01:12:16):
Apparently this little city has been convinced there's a need.
Don't miss the need here for a sanctuary. I am
seeking sanctuary, I'm fleeing, I'm looking for safety, sanctuary city
for transgender and gender diverse people. Now has anyone no

(01:12:40):
matter how you feel on this topic, agreed, disagree, that's
that's irrelevant to this point. Where is the persecution? Where? Where? Where?

Speaker 3 (01:12:49):
What they're seeking sanctuary from?

Speaker 21 (01:12:51):
What?

Speaker 4 (01:12:52):
Yeah, you can, you can do it.

Speaker 11 (01:12:54):
Yeah, nobody's banning this, and nobody's trying to say we
should hurt these people.

Speaker 6 (01:12:58):
No, that's not happened.

Speaker 3 (01:12:59):
None of that's happening.

Speaker 4 (01:13:01):
Are they saying they want to go to a little
city in Massachusetts where biological males can compete against biological females.
Maybe it's like only in this city can that take.
But I don't understand banned from. Yeah, who's happen? We
need a place for them.

Speaker 8 (01:13:17):
If they claim they need a sanctuary city for safety,
then why did one of them stand up and say,
if this is not past, we're going to make this
a very unsafe place for y'all.

Speaker 3 (01:13:25):
Oh, I mean that that's what that's in the clip.
We're about to play with purple purple.

Speaker 4 (01:13:29):
And that's another thing if you want to address you know,
it's the slam on this council. It's hard for me
to take you serious. And this is whether your trends
or not. I mean, just could be a biological woman
walking with the same look, and I'd have the same
You know, it's time to take you serious.

Speaker 3 (01:13:44):
When you dressed, I don't see, I.

Speaker 4 (01:13:46):
Don't you're dressed like a cloud of man or woman.
A woman has nothing to do. No exactly. They're saying,
it's Wooster, Wooster, Massachusetts, Wooster Maschachusett, wos Wooster Rooster. But
wo yeah, Wooster, Wooster City, Massachusetts. Got it, got Worcester,
Worcesterster Wooster. Oh that's what some of you don't know

(01:14:08):
how to fanatic spell, because what you're putting up there
would be pronounced wood. What's now that you found it?
It says Worcester, Okay, like wools, like you're a woos.
I'm afraid well that that is what it says here.
But now some people say it's called Worcester.

Speaker 3 (01:14:25):
All right, Look.

Speaker 4 (01:14:28):
Is there anybody from Massachusetts. It's on our on our
text option. I mean, are these people likes No.

Speaker 6 (01:14:34):
Two o five area code?

Speaker 4 (01:14:35):
You don't know South Carolina?

Speaker 10 (01:14:38):
How do you know?

Speaker 4 (01:14:39):
Wooster? All right?

Speaker 3 (01:14:40):
Three, I'd like to three oh five. That's Florida, Tennessee.

Speaker 4 (01:14:44):
Y'all don't know. Is that where they make that sauce
you like? Greg Rooster share.

Speaker 6 (01:14:49):
I'm seeing Wooster A lot of Wooster.

Speaker 3 (01:14:51):
That's what I'm saying. Roosterharnounce what.

Speaker 4 (01:14:55):
Yeah, Worcester, which is good on on like beef.

Speaker 3 (01:15:00):
But listen to this. She is just the one we're
about to hear about what she's afraid of. I'm afraid
of that purple wig. So here we go.

Speaker 16 (01:15:08):
I need the city to protect me because the federal
government won't. And if you think you're afraid of Trump,
you should see how afraid of Trump I am. Yes,
I can't if you say that you're afraid of Trump.
And that's why you don't want city to be the
city to be a space save space for trans people.

(01:15:29):
You better prepare for trans people to make this a
very unsaved space.

Speaker 6 (01:15:34):
All right, I'm shaking right now. I don't want to
be here. I'm sorry, Am I taking too long pleading
for my life. You remember how many children I have
and how many, and that two of them are.

Speaker 4 (01:15:46):
Trans has both the B and the T in the LGBT.

Speaker 16 (01:15:54):
I'm multiply disabled. I have Ellers dan Loews syndrome, which
is a connective tissue disorder that causes me immense physical pain.
I'm on the autism spectrum and I have NARCOLEPSI and
I couldn't drive myself here, so I had to hide
from my driver that I was in drag, which is
not an easy thing to do in bread.

Speaker 9 (01:16:15):
I do not want to be here. It's my day off.
I do not want to be in your dms. I
do not want to be in your email in boxes.
I do not want my creativity writing disc tracks like Kendrick.
I don't want to spend an.

Speaker 4 (01:16:29):
Hour applying glitter on my face so.

Speaker 23 (01:16:33):
That you will hear and see me.

Speaker 6 (01:16:35):
Oh my goodness, I don't understand what's going on.

Speaker 3 (01:16:38):
I'll be honest.

Speaker 4 (01:16:39):
That Beard's got me looking at her. I mean she
wants to say her, you know, what are we doing here?

Speaker 17 (01:16:44):
What do we do?

Speaker 11 (01:16:45):
No, you didn't have to hide from your driver that
nobody cares. Nobody cares leave kids alone.

Speaker 6 (01:16:50):
That's really it.

Speaker 11 (01:16:52):
My goodness, nobody cares do whatever you weirdos want to do.
I don't care whatever.

Speaker 4 (01:16:57):
Yes, this is just I don't. So it goes back
to this whole thing when we saw the documentary Social Dilemma.
It's back to that again. The people have been drug
into a world in this case where they're being made
to feel like they're unsafe, and that just isn't true.

(01:17:19):
That's why we were talking about we're going to try
to do a show that continues to stay in the
real world. All of this is fantasy. All of this
is not true. You don't need a sanctuary city. No
one's after you if you want to say that. Society says,
we'd like to have set some boundaries up where we

(01:17:41):
all live together in harmony, and we'd rather biological men
not destroy women's sport. Okay, we're a little uncomfortable with
biological men having access to dressing rooms, and we just
have to take their word for it that they're identifying
as a woman.

Speaker 3 (01:18:00):
You know, we're just laid out a few boundaries.

Speaker 4 (01:18:01):
You have plenty of places to dress, plenty of places
to go to the restroom, plenty opportunities to participate in athletics.
I'm not sure that there's a need for a sanctuary city.
And then telling a city if they don't give you
sanctuary that you don't need in the first place, you're
now going to make their city unsafe. You're going to
become violent, and just listening, it's just it's really sad.

(01:18:23):
It really, it really is a sad presentation. It's just
because this is all so so unfounded and not real.
And so there you go, top of the hour. So
the city council did vote to become a sanctuary city

(01:18:46):
for transgender and what were they before the vote?

Speaker 3 (01:18:49):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:18:50):
This is the Rick Burgess Show. You better listen up.

Speaker 6 (01:19:10):
You know what we say, loss, I tell.

Speaker 4 (01:19:15):
You gotta find.

Speaker 1 (01:19:17):
Us the voice of Lisa in an Unreasonable World, The
Rick Burgess Show.

Speaker 3 (01:19:29):
Thanks for being with us as we roll into a
brand new.

Speaker 4 (01:19:33):
Hour out America. I hope you're doing well.

Speaker 3 (01:19:37):
The gang is all here, speedy, Greg and Nadler.

Speaker 4 (01:19:41):
We'll chat with you coming up this hour. Thank you
for all the feedback. We're already getting on the text
option for another day. The couple of items to start
the hour, got to do this one specifically for my
baby brother over there. Yeah, all might recall that, you know,

(01:20:04):
some of my breakfast choices have taken little heat, you know,
on my on me trying to do a little better.
By the way, had a texture earlier that was talking
about my commentary.

Speaker 3 (01:20:16):
I guess it was.

Speaker 4 (01:20:16):
I forget which show it was this week when we
talked about Jelly row and now Jelly's doing better and
and you know, I was talking about I'm not sure
you know that half marathon and claiming running a five
k and climbing a very big mountains. He's doing better,
and we complement it. And and this is where the
texture I don't think understands the reasoning here.

Speaker 3 (01:20:37):
Hey, just heard the.

Speaker 4 (01:20:38):
Jelly that comments from Rick. This is a guy that
finds ways of you know, in his workout to cut
his reps and stuff. And he's he's sitting there talking
about Jelly. No, no, what you missed in I'm an
expert on fat people. Yeah you're missing that.

Speaker 7 (01:20:51):
So the.

Speaker 4 (01:20:54):
Fact that I find ways around the workout, that just
makes me an expert that know that Jelly does the
same thing. Yeah you know, and you weren't acting like
you didn't. I'm just saying Jelly is doing great. I
just think some of the claims by Jelly may just
be a little bit of a little bit of what.

Speaker 6 (01:21:10):
A little bit of a stretch.

Speaker 4 (01:21:10):
More, we all want to see the mountain he climbed. Yeah, yeah,
and we want to see him run a five cases
he said, because he I never heard him make that claim.
Also in this study, was making this story, was like
making that claim, and now he's talking half marathon. But
you also found me tech, You also found me texture
being very supportive and encouraging to Jelly. Uh And in
that same commentary, I'm just saying I know the struggle.

(01:21:34):
I live the struggle. I know my people. Okay, I
know my people, I know how we are, and so
that's just me giving expertise. There's nothing, nothing inconsistent about that.
The fact that I do find ways to work through
a workout and need major accountability that enables me to
know that Jelly's in the same place. Okay, So yeah,

(01:21:56):
he's dropped over one hundred and that's good. So mister,
we're here and half marathon mountain. And I wasn't critical
of Jelly. I was just pointing out a few things.
Knowing my people yeah, and I'm gonna tell you this
right now. Cheating reps. It's talented. It takes talent, it
really does. I mean, Greg, you remember working together. Hey,
we don't want any heroes in this group. No, huh, No,
let me tell you something. We took it to another

(01:22:16):
level at eighteen twenty. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:22:19):
Yeah, and sooner.

Speaker 4 (01:22:22):
How about this?

Speaker 3 (01:22:23):
And sooner or later? Sooner or later. And my wife's
been very open about this.

Speaker 4 (01:22:29):
Sooner or later, she says, you always end up and
the others that were with me influencing me more than
I can influence you, you know, sudden You remember we
started out when Shary and I were working out together.
We had a little talentede over there, and then one
day we had a rough one and things got tough. Yeah,
and she started looking over to me for you know,
how do we get through this? I said, well, well,
it's a different day now, isn't it. Rep counter and no, hey,

(01:22:52):
let me tell you something. If I ever catch trainer
Sean and he I for just he's it's hard for
him to count both of us. If I ever see
him counting her reps, it means he can't count mine
at the same time.

Speaker 6 (01:23:06):
Yeah, it's those facts.

Speaker 4 (01:23:07):
Yeah. So if Sherry you'll do a ten, I'll do
an eight. Yeah right, you know I just didn't make
it too No, No, we're not talking just a little
just a little bit. And you know, and I understand
people go, well, you ain't hurt nobody but yourself. No, no,
not doing all of it sometimes hurts me too. Yeah right,
you know I think I've done nothing to do good.
How about this, I'm telling I'm taking care of myself. Right,

(01:23:29):
if I do fifty, I'm not hurting myself thirty nine.

Speaker 3 (01:23:33):
You're not hurting anybody but yourself. Rick, No, no, no,
myself was thanking me for it.

Speaker 6 (01:23:38):
Influence you're influencing Sherry a little bit.

Speaker 3 (01:23:40):
Rick, Well, there's no law.

Speaker 4 (01:23:42):
I'll tell you.

Speaker 3 (01:23:42):
I'll tell you this. It's been a long time since
I've had any tattletale.

Speaker 6 (01:23:46):
That's why you got to be careful of your circle.
You know.

Speaker 11 (01:23:48):
It's easy to pull somebody down off a cliff versus
pulling somebody up.

Speaker 3 (01:23:51):
Thank you for bringing that back. So yeah, and speaking
of the speaking my own words over here, did you
bring dumbells in?

Speaker 12 (01:23:58):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:23:59):
Maybe?

Speaker 6 (01:24:00):
Why is that?

Speaker 4 (01:24:01):
Why do we have dumbbells?

Speaker 7 (01:24:02):
And what?

Speaker 22 (01:24:02):
How?

Speaker 4 (01:24:02):
What Are they twenties?

Speaker 6 (01:24:04):
Yeah, but we can we can tell people that are
twenty five because they're bigger.

Speaker 1 (01:24:07):
Why are you?

Speaker 4 (01:24:08):
Why God?

Speaker 6 (01:24:10):
Why not?

Speaker 4 (01:24:10):
Why not?

Speaker 6 (01:24:11):
I actually I got a whole new set of dumbells.

Speaker 11 (01:24:14):
I've been piecing mind together from like garage sale dumbbells,
and I just got a whole set from five to
like thirty or forties.

Speaker 3 (01:24:21):
Sixty's over there like that. What's that over there?

Speaker 6 (01:24:24):
That's twenties, which is versatile.

Speaker 3 (01:24:27):
But you brought them in just in case, you know,
you want to for what reason?

Speaker 6 (01:24:31):
We can use them. We can use them. We're trying
to do a little bit better.

Speaker 3 (01:24:35):
Yeah, okay, I got you.

Speaker 11 (01:24:36):
I don't understand why I'm being accosted for adding to
the brightness of the place here.

Speaker 6 (01:24:41):
It's well, it's cool. We can pump iron. We can
give each other haigh fives, like in Predator.

Speaker 3 (01:24:45):
Come on Predator, by the way that that texture gets it?

Speaker 4 (01:24:50):
No pain, no pain, that's true, that's true. All right,
So on this too, Greg, listen to this, buddy. Doctors
discover a daily snack cuts cuts the risk of colon cancer.

Speaker 3 (01:25:06):
Guess what that snack is? What be yogurt?

Speaker 4 (01:25:10):
So there, so well, they said, second only to cottage cheese.
No harmful bacteria lining the gut. We all know about
all that gut health, and and how about this yogurt
helps it? So you know I'm not anti yogurt a
little bit. It's granola and yogurt combined. I tell you what,

(01:25:32):
I'm already planning, and I was working on it during
the break, and I'm really working on my shot. No,
no tomorrow are or even today. For tomorrow, you and
I are going to go in the burgess ball battle
and the winner gets.

Speaker 3 (01:25:45):
The Jimmy Dean tomorrow. I think I'm you're out what
you have to eat my breakfast week?

Speaker 4 (01:25:55):
Okay, so when you know, I'll go get some if
I have, when you're gonna go pass one leading. I
saw you working on your shot. I worked on mine too.
I had a pretty good run there in that last break.

Speaker 8 (01:26:04):
The loser, listen to me, The loser has to sit
right in front of the person eating Jimmy Dean and
watch like that, and the other person gets told BYuT
how good it is.

Speaker 3 (01:26:12):
Yeah, and you know, I'll go ahead and try to
cut down my risk of colon cancer.

Speaker 4 (01:26:16):
But you go ahead. And so if you win and
you get my Jimmy Dean. I have to eat your granola.
That is correct. I'll do that now.

Speaker 3 (01:26:22):
And if if you have yogurt, sometimes you can't just
have yogurt. You gotta put stuff in it.

Speaker 4 (01:26:26):
Greg, I like yogurt.

Speaker 3 (01:26:28):
Know I'm saying you put or maybe something.

Speaker 4 (01:26:30):
Else you're gonna do when that straight up, yeah, you don't.
You can't get any flavor, the straight up kind.

Speaker 13 (01:26:36):
You know.

Speaker 4 (01:26:37):
The bag, your granola bag is one of the worst
parts of it. It just looks like something that like
if you had a daughter and you were getting like
a snack bag and go to kindergarten. Looks a lot
like that, does it?

Speaker 21 (01:26:47):
What?

Speaker 3 (01:26:47):
What a bizarre analogy that was?

Speaker 12 (01:26:49):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:26:49):
Yeah, you went along way with that.

Speaker 4 (01:26:51):
Yeah yeah. The picture is skipping out of the car.

Speaker 6 (01:26:54):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (01:26:55):
I got you with his arms cross, which made it best.
It's fine. Have you been doing thirty ten?

Speaker 21 (01:26:59):
I have?

Speaker 4 (01:27:00):
Okay, you back running regular again?

Speaker 12 (01:27:01):
I am.

Speaker 4 (01:27:03):
A right all right, so let me tell you this. Okay,
we're going today by and here on that note, on
that note, yesterday, yesterday I sent out a group text
and I and you know, and these are men now, okay,
that was funny. That was funny how you said that.
So I'm a little concerned. To me, I am too.
So we're all going to be flying down to Panama

(01:27:26):
City next week for the Man Church Conference and the
group that's going that will be writing together. I sent
out this text. You were on this text thread due
to traveling via the plane to Panama City next Friday.
I need your birthday and your current weight. Don't be
a woman and live because we will run out of

(01:27:47):
fuel right now.

Speaker 1 (01:27:49):
I'm looking.

Speaker 4 (01:27:50):
I'm looking at these weights and yeah, and I'm not.
I'll tell you who I think is fudging a little
on the list. Okay, Greg, I'm not sure I believe
you're two hundred. I am absolutely two hundred on the nose.
On the nose. Sometimes I go to one ninety eight,
but I'm just not there. I almost went one night. Yeah,
but I'm not consistent enough. Yeah right, let me tell

(01:28:12):
you it's not staying there. But I am. I am, Yes,
I mean, I am no two hundred.

Speaker 3 (01:28:16):
No doubt Wing goes fudging. You think, yeah, Wing goes.

Speaker 4 (01:28:19):
He's if he if he's a pound, he's too forty.

Speaker 3 (01:28:22):
No, he's putting nine or two thirty five.

Speaker 4 (01:28:25):
Have you seen how he does it. Sweets well, then muscle.

Speaker 3 (01:28:28):
Round up a few pounds forever, yeh in a weird.

Speaker 4 (01:28:30):
One, in a weird one and a weird one. I
think Bones is lying the other way. He's presenting himself
as more heavy.

Speaker 3 (01:28:37):
Yeah yeah, I think you're right.

Speaker 4 (01:28:40):
There's no way Bones weighs one seventy five. No, no way.

Speaker 6 (01:28:44):
Now he's six seven and he's one fifteen.

Speaker 4 (01:28:46):
So now we're gonna have too much fuel because Bones
is like but maybe Bones exaggerating his trying to be heavier.
That'll all that'll that'll cover for Greg who claims he's
two hundreds. No, that's fine, almost went on. Do you
feel good about one ninety two?

Speaker 12 (01:29:03):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:29:03):
Yeah, pretty good?

Speaker 3 (01:29:04):
Strange number.

Speaker 4 (01:29:05):
Would you said be accurate?

Speaker 3 (01:29:06):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (01:29:07):
I mean not, I mean I didn't know about being acurate.
I hope they're not cutting it that close.

Speaker 6 (01:29:11):
Speedy you you're saying you weigh less than Greg?

Speaker 4 (01:29:14):
Oh yeah, yeah it always as so if if I
hope these are accurate.

Speaker 24 (01:29:21):
Here I mean getting strong fi exactly muscle strong or.

Speaker 4 (01:29:33):
We'll be back.

Speaker 1 (01:29:36):
This is the Rick Burgess Show. Okay, are you ready
to bring something to the table?

Speaker 6 (01:29:55):
Cool?

Speaker 1 (01:29:55):
No, and get on the show one at Sick Big Buck.

Speaker 4 (01:30:01):
Right here we go much to discuss. We've run through
good Night, two and a half hours worth of stuff.
You can comment now eight eight eight the number six
big box. Greg is taking phone calls right now and
you can get in. He's ready to go, by the
way him giving me a hard time about things that

(01:30:25):
I'm eating. And he has stowed away those little tangerines
that are called quties. Yeah, Greg's drink eating cuties.

Speaker 21 (01:30:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:30:35):
Can you imagine when he was working for the Alabama
Power Company. You think you think he would ever looked
over Creeper Jones says, want some of my cuties? Yeah,
I mean you are to be embarrassed about that. Yeah,
give me a hard time about anything. Creeper Jackson, not Joanes,
Creeper Jackson. Qts. Greg, you're such a cutie. I just
called it a small orange. No, it's not cuty. What's

(01:30:58):
the name of those in the store. Well, you go
Halo's and you got cuties. Just depends on which one. Okay,
thank you, well, thank you little angel cutie. Those Yeah,
walking around eating that?

Speaker 8 (01:31:08):
He said, hey, you can have one if you want. Yeah,
and where are they? And I said, well, where are they?
And I had to ask him three times and the
third time he was acting like my wife. He's acting
like you didn't hear me.

Speaker 3 (01:31:19):
And he said, there's one left in the in the
sandwich bag. And I said, one who brings just what what?

Speaker 10 (01:31:25):
He goes?

Speaker 4 (01:31:25):
One of the one to bring too many? You eat them? Well,
I got to get to work.

Speaker 3 (01:31:28):
Y was stingy and cutie.

Speaker 4 (01:31:30):
Okay, well let me tell hey, let me.

Speaker 3 (01:31:32):
Tell you something.

Speaker 4 (01:31:32):
I've been working on my sh I'm working on it.
I'm going to be you so bad. Yeah, at Burgess
Ball and take that Jimmy Dean that's coming. How about
this if he if Greg makes one shot, I'll be disappearing.
I want to do it the format where we go
who can score the most in thirty seconds? Yes, so
I can trash talk him while he shoot.

Speaker 6 (01:31:50):
Praying that you win. I'm praying for you, right, I
am too.

Speaker 8 (01:31:53):
I really want this to happen, and I wanted I
want you to take us back to you when y'all
were kids.

Speaker 4 (01:31:57):
How you used to get in his head.

Speaker 6 (01:31:58):
Yeah, you got to do it for the cold.

Speaker 4 (01:32:00):
I'll be talking about how the arms. I don't even
know how you're raising your arms, Chris. Welcome to the
Rick Burgess Show. Go ahead, Hey Chris, build up, Hey,
heybody go ahead. Yeah.

Speaker 17 (01:32:13):
Yeah, my parents moved to Wooster four years ago. They've
lived in Birmingham their whole life, and they've been lifelong,
lifelong Democrats. But down here they don't have to live
with the ramifications of the way they vote.

Speaker 4 (01:32:26):
Amen, So they move up, move up to Wooster.

Speaker 17 (01:32:29):
And they thought they moved into a nice apartment build
and it turned out half of it was hud or
Section eight or something, and it was just a disaster.
That place has been nothing but nightmares for him. They
finally moved back and he just commutes as he needs
to a couple of times a year.

Speaker 4 (01:32:46):
Yeah, we've noticed no fence to your parents, but you
made the good point. We've noticed that people who lean
to the left, they enjoy all that unless they have
to face, as you just said beautifully, the ramifications of
what their vote actually does, if it ever was implemented.
And you see it there. When I went to Massachusetts,
I guess it was back in August, it was like

(01:33:07):
another country. I mean, it was like I was in
a completely different land. So so I'm glad that your
parents are back.

Speaker 17 (01:33:15):
Yeah, but now that bird sanctuary I went to one
time was pretty neat. If they do the trans sanctuary
the same way, I think it could be pretty interesting.

Speaker 21 (01:33:25):
Uh you could.

Speaker 17 (01:33:26):
You could walk around and look at all the trends
in their natural environment, just as colorful and just as
loud and screechy as the bird sanctuary.

Speaker 3 (01:33:37):
Yeah, well you know that this this they are.

Speaker 4 (01:33:40):
This word sanctuary. We just throw it around so recklessly. Uh,
let's go to Will in the Free State of Florida. Will,
welcome to the show. Go ahead, Hey buddy, Will.

Speaker 12 (01:33:53):
Hey, what's up? Guys? Hey buddy, Hey, A couple of things.
On that flight time, It matters what time of the
day you're gonna fly, because everybody is three to four
pounds later after they peede first thing in the morning.

Speaker 1 (01:34:05):
Good point.

Speaker 12 (01:34:06):
Also, also, daily clothing versus nude versus accounts for three
or four pounds, so it matters if you're flying a
nude or with clothes on.

Speaker 3 (01:34:15):
Yeah you're golo. Yeah, we're gonna go close.

Speaker 4 (01:34:18):
That's a fact.

Speaker 3 (01:34:19):
Now, I will say this, That weight that I gave
you was morning weight. Yeah I wasn't.

Speaker 4 (01:34:23):
Yeah, yes, yeah, Will makes a great point. And hey,
that day will kick in here in just a minute. Yeah,
all right, so let's listen.

Speaker 3 (01:34:35):
Try some alderberries too, honey, laming ginger, fill the greens.

Speaker 6 (01:34:42):
Sure, I'm going to the doctor today. On that note,
I'm going to the doctor too.

Speaker 4 (01:34:45):
Dam Yeah, you're look, you're fine. Now you're only two
weeks behind. Yeah, wait a little longer till we all
have it. Yeah, please, uh brains, let's go to Pete
in Birmingham one O four seven w z z K Pete.
Go ahead. Hey, guys, that time you were talking about
in Massachusetts, it is called Wooster. Okay, that's about the
third different appronunciation. Yeah, so have you ever lived there?

Speaker 18 (01:35:07):
I grew up in Boston. Yeah, I grew up in Boston,
about less than an hour from there.

Speaker 21 (01:35:11):
And uh, you don't pronounce he and hard though, you
got to drop an A and h on the end.

Speaker 4 (01:35:16):
So it's Wooster, Woolster, Woolster. Welcome to Woolster, Wooster. I
came there in my car. I'm in my car at
the Haiber Wooster. Okay, I got, I got.

Speaker 8 (01:35:27):
Okay, it easier. It's easier to do when you holler
it is. Yeah, wo go to Woolster in your car.

Speaker 4 (01:35:34):
I'll meet you at the Hiber Wooster Woolster Wooster o
Wooster cock a doodle dough.

Speaker 3 (01:35:42):
Uh, Hollis, welcome to the rick Burgers Show.

Speaker 4 (01:35:44):
How are you.

Speaker 17 (01:35:47):
Good?

Speaker 11 (01:35:47):

Speaker 18 (01:35:48):

Speaker 1 (01:35:55):
I've been listening to your six kindergarten.

Speaker 17 (01:35:59):
I can't get an that for this show.

Speaker 4 (01:36:01):
Well that's goodness. So how old are you now? I'm
you're eleven?

Speaker 23 (01:36:07):
Wow?

Speaker 4 (01:36:09):
Well, thank you very much. So you were with the
h the old show, and now you're with the new show.
As you continue to grow up, won't belong to you'll
be driving?

Speaker 22 (01:36:19):
Yeah, just be specific.

Speaker 25 (01:36:24):
I'm calling from calhaun County.

Speaker 4 (01:36:25):
Oh you are to be more specific. And Old hatcheye Okay,
Old Creek Bank, and you know that's that's where Greg
and and and me. That's where we're from. Did you
know that?

Speaker 3 (01:36:36):
Not Old Hatchey but Calhoun County. Yeah, we're from Oxford.

Speaker 4 (01:36:39):
You know where that is?

Speaker 12 (01:36:41):
Oh? Yeah, I love that?

Speaker 3 (01:36:42):
Yeah, I bet you.

Speaker 4 (01:36:44):
Yeah. All right, Well, thank you for calling, Hollis, and
I hope you'll you'll continue to listen to the show.
I'm glad you can't get enough of it. Okay, thanks buddy,
see you bye bye? Do you love me? Saying I
can't get enough? You can't get it? A little stopped up.

Speaker 6 (01:36:57):
That's all right, Joe, go ahead, Good morning, gentlemen.

Speaker 19 (01:37:01):
I just wanted to take time to congratulate you on
the new endeavor on the new show.

Speaker 21 (01:37:07):
And then would also a couple requests if I could.

Speaker 19 (01:37:11):
I know, forget Gary's love songs. There's a Reo Speedwagon Amanda,
but instead of Amanda, we replace it with a subtle Gwin.

Speaker 3 (01:37:21):
Okay, I think Boston did Amanda, but you're okay, go ahead.

Speaker 19 (01:37:24):
And se I'm sorry. And second, could we get Greg
to extend the personal invite to Dank the rapper for
Big Voxy.

Speaker 3 (01:37:33):
That's good stuff.

Speaker 4 (01:37:35):
She would be the only person I think we could
let him the time. We'd have to take the armrest off.

Speaker 1 (01:37:38):
I'm gonna tell you that this is the Rick Burgess Show.
The Mandu pointed out that there is no such thing
as bootless wings. Rick Burges, I.

Speaker 4 (01:38:01):
Don't know why everybody else was silent about that. So
here we go.

Speaker 3 (01:38:04):
Thanks for being with us today. Much to do, Much
to do.

Speaker 4 (01:38:09):
Relief Factor already had packet number one already had Packet one.

Speaker 3 (01:38:16):
And loving loving this. It has been a game changer.

Speaker 4 (01:38:21):
If the problems that you're facing or tied to inflammation,
Here comes old game changer, Relief Factor, all natural four botanicals.
Hello Ellen in the beautiful state of Kentucky. Here's what
she said, thanks to y'all, I received my Relief Factor
a few weeks ago. I'm only fifty seven years old.
But as you guys know firsthand, things don't seem to

(01:38:42):
work the way they once did. Lol. But anyway, my
pain was only getting worse to the point where I
was walking was even a problem, and I wanted to
know that. I know I'd like to get back to
walking proud normally again. So she says, not only am
I walking normally again thanks to Relief Factor, sing the
music and started with the first few days, she said,

(01:39:04):
I went ahead and did three package to kind of
get out ahead of it. But now I'm back to
only two because it has gotten so much better. I'm
basically on maintenance now, and it's This product does not
mask pain temporarily. No, it goes to the root of
the problem. If it's inflammation, it will get rid of
it completely. Naturally called one eight hundred four relief or

(01:39:26):
go to relief factor dot com. That's one eight hundred
four relief or relieffactor dot com. There's also a direct
link at Rick Burgess Show dot com under sponsors. Don't
think I didn't see you practicing in the break Greg
on basketball? Yeah right, the whole Yeah. Well, first of all,
you know, I'm also I'm also disappointed in the in

(01:39:50):
the texting people who are always ready to just have
any reason to get on this. Greg. And I basically
like that our mother dressed us. Our mother dressed us today,
and that just like we were little boys that were
at work today with the same the same style, styles
a little different. We both have zip ups and they're

(01:40:11):
almost the same color. I only have like three shirts
that I wear, right, So I mean, so I'm gonna repeat,
I'm going out with my little baby brother. Mama dressed
us for the day. We are going for school pictures today.

Speaker 8 (01:40:27):
So how are you under pressure though, Greg? Because you
look real comfortable in the break Let me tell you
about when big brothers in your year.

Speaker 4 (01:40:33):
Well, it's a win when he gets to eat breakfast.

Speaker 3 (01:40:35):
I feel sorry for him.

Speaker 4 (01:40:36):
He's been eating that, you know all that mass.

Speaker 8 (01:40:39):
These are preparing for the lost, right right, These are
preparing for the losing as good as what you think.

Speaker 4 (01:40:43):
Yeah, you can have me. Let me tell you. I'm
going to be in your head so much when you're shooting.
I mean, I'm not going I won't be quiet to
ask you this we're doing. We're doing that by side. Nope,
we're doing you shoot for thirty seconds, get the most
points you can. I shoot for thirty seconds. I get
the most points I can. So we can trash talk
each other when we're shooting.

Speaker 6 (01:41:02):
Oh, y'all going to flip a coin for who goes first?

Speaker 4 (01:41:04):
Now I let him go first. He's older.

Speaker 3 (01:41:06):
Oh wow, do you want to go first?

Speaker 4 (01:41:08):
Ricky might be doing I think we need to flip
for it. And then then the winter pick. It's like,
I don't know what you got. Well, it doesn't something
like yeah, overtime, here's what's serious. Here's what I will
allow to because I'm the same way.

Speaker 3 (01:41:21):
Don't you agree?

Speaker 4 (01:41:22):
When you first get up, I think we should be
allowed maybe maybe ten to fifteen seconds of warm up,
kind of get your ready to going sure, and then
sometimes against I don't like that.

Speaker 3 (01:41:34):
Right, Here's here's what we'll do. I'll get the tuber hat.

Speaker 8 (01:41:38):
It's got ten it's got numbers in it already, and
y'all pick each pick and whoever has the highest number
gets to go first.

Speaker 3 (01:41:44):
He can go first or second. They pill for the
highest number.

Speaker 4 (01:41:48):
And people are saying, people are saying that if Greg wins,
is kind of what you do to addler. So he
just gets to eat his own breakfast. So I will
put something on the table, because that is true.

Speaker 3 (01:41:56):
That's nothing for you.

Speaker 4 (01:41:57):
And if that protein, if you well, if you win,
you get one of my protein bars.

Speaker 3 (01:42:01):
Okay, okay, And I told you could have one of
mine all week, but he loves that. He wants my
protein bars?

Speaker 12 (01:42:06):
Bad?

Speaker 3 (01:42:07):
Did you bring the same kind?

Speaker 12 (01:42:08):
End?

Speaker 21 (01:42:08):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (01:42:08):
Yeah, you know why I feel bad. Let me let
your secret. I had a case of fourteen in my
office when we first started coming back, and I didn't
share any I ate all fourteen of them. Wow, I
didn't hide them, but they were in my office.

Speaker 6 (01:42:21):
That's called hiding. We didn't even see what do you
call that?

Speaker 4 (01:42:25):
That box is?

Speaker 16 (01:42:29):
That?

Speaker 3 (01:42:30):
Is there another name for what you just did? I'm
not aware of.

Speaker 4 (01:42:33):
I just brought a little box in and said.

Speaker 6 (01:42:35):
Greg, you can have one if you won't.

Speaker 4 (01:42:36):
Yeah, that's why I didn't take it. Greg. You just
said I'm not you know what you just said, Greg,
You just said I hid them, But I didn't hide them. Yeah,
that really had them, and you had to look for
him to find. So Peters and Bars are in there. Yea, yeah, Jimmy,
let me tell you what I'm picking up day first
fourteen days of the show. Listen, let me let me
let me pick up something in general, not a big share.

Speaker 10 (01:42:59):
That was.

Speaker 4 (01:43:01):
He's I was told every man for himself.

Speaker 3 (01:43:04):
That's not that's not doesn't like anything that sounds remotely
like socialism.

Speaker 4 (01:43:08):
Well, I'm just saying, yeah, I was told on your own, fellas,
you need to starve and you can bring yourself something
if you don't like that out. That's what he's got
you saying, that's fine, you know, perfectly fine. We live
in a society that has walls. Yes, peanuts to you.

Speaker 3 (01:43:29):
Uh, by the way he complains about the way the
peanuts are.

Speaker 4 (01:43:34):
No, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:43:36):
The m bag.

Speaker 4 (01:43:38):
He just saidn't know why the m bag is still coming.
And I'll tell you why. For others that y'all, y'all
more than welcome to the mbakcuse we have to. We
have to have access to it because we know you're
not hiding it while you hide it. By the way,
just got a text from uh Dan Moultrie, Okay, Uh
he's there in Nashville with the National Wildlife Federation, Turk

(01:44:00):
whatever this thing is there and and he spoke and
he's he's saying that they're they're trying to get a
Gary siding. And he says that rumor is he's there,
but he only brought four calls. I don't know, go
to where he see a line of women because they
know he's woman's pet and a man's regret.

Speaker 12 (01:44:18):
Greg.

Speaker 4 (01:44:19):
So I think probably we're likely people want to hear
from Gary as he goes. That's probably tomorrow, because I
don't think Gary will go to it tomorrow. I mean
I can't. I got too much to do. What's going on. Yeah,
I just got too much to d Maybe he'll sing
a little.

Speaker 8 (01:44:34):
We need to hear from them, Dan, because somebody when
they see Gary, y'all need let us know.

Speaker 4 (01:44:39):
It make him sing? All right? So apparently Greg, we've
saved this video for you so to show you that
we do care about you. Okay, we want to see
your reaction to it. Without knowing anything about this. Oh boy.

Speaker 2 (01:44:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:44:49):
So apparently in Texas they have you know, kind of
like you go to an air show and they bring
back old yeah aircraft, even though it's no longer new.

Speaker 3 (01:45:00):
They do like a tribute to the Pony Express.

Speaker 4 (01:45:03):
I had a caller and asked me about it. I
told him, I said, I think we're gonna we're gonna
write so that they do they reenact the Pony Express.

Speaker 3 (01:45:09):
It's got police, you know, on the road to kind.

Speaker 6 (01:45:11):
Of protect everybody, and they're going fast.

Speaker 4 (01:45:14):
So the Pony Express, you know, when it was moving
the mail, it really it really got after it. So
I'm just gonna let you watching in real time. Now
keep in mind, don't miss because this is crucial. There's
a lot of uht's, like County. I don't know what
the lad is. If it's sheriff protecting the rider from
any dangerous traffic, Okay, don't finish that.

Speaker 3 (01:45:34):
He's running kind of on the ground.

Speaker 4 (01:45:37):
But maybe there's one thing that they didn't think would
be an issue, but apparently it is. Okay, so you're
going to have a guy riding a horse wide open,
pretending he's part of the Pony Express and memory, yes,
and memory of the Pony Express.

Speaker 3 (01:45:51):
And this is just a passer by.

Speaker 4 (01:45:52):
That's rolling video. Somebody's okay now now in the car,
and they want their kids to see it. Look at
this Pony Express all that. Oh kind of see him,
see him running. He's going fast, he's really going and
got the police to keep cars off of him.

Speaker 6 (01:46:11):
You hear it sounded like a card good night.

Speaker 4 (01:46:16):
He hit He hit a street sign with his head again.
I forget about the escorties. That's the key. The key
is they're there to protect him, don't so. They didn't
think they had to protect They didn't think they had
to protect him from signs. They give me some volume here.
Oh yeah, that's his team. His face is gone.

Speaker 6 (01:46:39):
I think that guy's face is broken.

Speaker 3 (01:46:41):
The horse got nothing.

Speaker 4 (01:46:45):
The horse is good. It's an annual pony expression, not
since the census. Cowboy, Okay, you're going slow mover, yeah, yeah,
don't miss. There's wide open space all around it. And
they're bragging about it. And he hits a highway sign
looking at that point, thanks sharp, Oh boy, you want

(01:47:08):
to know what they were doing.

Speaker 3 (01:47:09):
They were going to ninety west that's a sign of
hitt ask you this.

Speaker 4 (01:47:13):
Anybody got a report on how he's doing. Here's from
the story, the written story. The writer's condition has not
been officially confirmed. We certainly hope he's recovering. What we
all do?

Speaker 3 (01:47:23):
You know when you throw something in a road some
when you was a kid out the window.

Speaker 4 (01:47:27):
Yes, here's where I would disagree with this is not
whoever wrote the story should take this line out.

Speaker 3 (01:47:35):
I bet it'll be a moment he will never forget.

Speaker 4 (01:47:37):
I disagree with that. He's completely forgotten and he's not
going to remember. Not just that he's he forgot the
entire day, right, Yeah, that's he is. He is galloping.
This is so very excited about it. Y'all listen, how
does that? We don't even need the symbol. We don't
even need the symbol. We don't even need the symbol.

Speaker 3 (01:48:01):
The way hat came out, Oh my goodness, that hurt.

Speaker 6 (01:48:08):
He's super slow boy.

Speaker 1 (01:48:10):
What happened?

Speaker 4 (01:48:15):
Rail got him?

Speaker 6 (01:48:17):
He laid on his head.

Speaker 3 (01:48:18):
Why why did he lay over to the right.

Speaker 4 (01:48:20):
He must have to get something out of this, like
a pouch over there than he was gonna get under.
I don't know to think about them I don't know.

Speaker 1 (01:48:27):
This is the Rick Burgers show. The people who don't
like this show, you wouldn't like anyway, the Rick Burgess show.

Speaker 4 (01:48:47):
Yeah, come on, it says more about them it does
about the show, right, I mean he won't speak with
these people, all right, So as we work our way
through another day. Hey, so, I love the best text
I've seen so far on the Pony Express guy. They say, look,
in all fairness, when the original Pony Express ran through there,

(01:49:09):
that that sign wasn't there. That's a good point.

Speaker 1 (01:49:12):
That's good.

Speaker 4 (01:49:13):
That is a good Would we rather have the injury
of the Pony Express guy or duct tape guy? I
gotta go with Pony Express guy. Oh yeah, that still
a tough guy. I mean he really broke his neck. Yeah,
his eyes he was gone. Yeah, no, I.

Speaker 6 (01:49:29):
Don't know all that horse guy landing on his head,
he was he was going fast. A horse can run
faster than a man.

Speaker 3 (01:49:35):
Yeah, we don't have any.

Speaker 4 (01:49:38):
Here's a good point, buddy.

Speaker 8 (01:49:40):
Here's an update here via text says he required over
thirty stitches to his face. I bet a paramedic was
part of the entourage that was with him. Now, that's
according to someone.

Speaker 6 (01:49:51):
Dirty in his face. I thought twelve was a lot
in my eye.

Speaker 3 (01:49:55):
Yeah, it is dirty. Is a big number.

Speaker 4 (01:49:58):
I had like fifteen in a cheek.

Speaker 6 (01:50:00):
Oh yeah you hook build yourself?

Speaker 3 (01:50:02):
Yeah how bad that hurt?

Speaker 4 (01:50:04):
It hurt skin and weird?

Speaker 3 (01:50:06):
Oh how bad you bleed?

Speaker 6 (01:50:09):
He's got scars from Oh yeah, you come down?

Speaker 4 (01:50:13):
How many? It was like fifteen? Wow?

Speaker 3 (01:50:16):
I know that was that underneath your go to there
you got yourself.

Speaker 4 (01:50:20):
Good little scr Yeah a little bit, you know that scar,
Like that's cool. I'm not gonna one. Did it really good?
It was a good clean. Yeah. It's funny to the difference,
like I've noticed. I know if any of you had
your wives like cut themselves to where it requires stitches
and all that. So and so, you know, Cherry just
did that back in uh during December, and they're like

(01:50:42):
really worried about how their scar turns out.

Speaker 3 (01:50:45):
And of course we don't care.

Speaker 4 (01:50:46):
What I would say, what are you working on that
scar forcause well I don't want it to be like
you know prom And I got this big scar on
my knee now and I'm like the scar is awesome.
Year I said, we'd like to have a scar? I said,
really one on the face is really cool. She goes,
you want to scar on your face, and I'm like,
not a real bad one. I've got a couple of
little ones I kind of did. Yeah, yeah, yeah. When

(01:51:07):
j c was uh, women don't embrace scars. When Jace
was younger, I've told the story.

Speaker 8 (01:51:12):
It's been years though, but he was jumping from like
one bed to a fold out bed and he misjudged
it and he hit the side and it got him
right here around the lip that it requires ditches. And
we were in a small town and so we went
to the to the hospital. Hardly anybody's there, and he
goes back and of course, you know, he's young, so
he's he's fidgety, and he don't know too much, and

(01:51:33):
they got to numb it and all that. So they
asked for the parents to help. They said, could y'all
kind of help calm him and everything. They had nurses,
but just you know, so Cherry, Cherry goes over and
she's leaning over trying to help, you know, Sue that
you know his emotions and it's gonna be okay, And
all of a sudden she sees that needle.

Speaker 4 (01:51:50):
Come out and she starts getting queazy and so and
she goes down.

Speaker 8 (01:51:54):
So before I know it, I have jac in a
bed and Terry in a bed, both in the mercy
room where she had passed out crazy.

Speaker 3 (01:52:02):
She was like, oh, make it, but you don't want
to the comfort.

Speaker 4 (01:52:08):
You don't want shaky hand coming at you, look, shaky
needle around and all they do. And then that was
the thing I was with Sherry in the emergency room.
And then then I'll tell you another one. That's funny
you were talking about with with the kids, because you know,
if you have enough kids, this is gonna happen. But
it's like, and I felt so bad for sharing. And
she's you know, when she she played you know, rough

(01:52:30):
as a kid, so she she just didn't remember. And
so because she you know, had some cuts and stuff
as a kid. But so she was like, they were
all right, we're gonna you know, numb it. And so
they do that shot on each side of the cut.
She was like, oh, that's not so bad, and I
was just baby, hang on, they're not done. And then
there's that shot that goes right in the cut. Is

(01:52:57):
what about when they just called it it's gonna be bad, Yeah, bad,
And boy, we're gonna have to really clean that out.

Speaker 6 (01:53:02):
But you're about to feel this.

Speaker 4 (01:53:03):
But the one talking about kids where you're supposed to
be the comforter and then you and you blow it. Yeah,
So it was which one. I'm trying to think which
one it was. I think I think, yeah, it was Brooks.
It was Brooks. He we had some plaything in the
backyard and you know, they get hurt on things. Okay,
So he hits the top of his head and he
just he just cuts the top of his head down
in the hair on the and so I'm taking him

(01:53:26):
to the merching room and you know, I'm I'm you know,
and he just look and I say, it's gonna be fine,
It's gonna be all right, it's gonna be all right.
Everything's fine, and I'm doing no calm, you know. The
dude would go in there and the doctor's talking to me,
and he goes, I think, really honestly for this, and
where it is, I think Staples and uh, and I said, okay, well,
and I was I was like, hey, son, this is

(01:53:46):
no bad You're going You're just gonna get You're just
gonna get Staples and really good. So they're sitting there
and They're working on top of his head, and I'm
like saying, nothing to it, nothing to it. I just
bring up that big state. And when they did on
top and I was like, no, no, no, no, it's fine,
it's fine. I had a few more to go. I

(01:54:08):
had an uncontrouble.

Speaker 6 (01:54:11):
There's a screen his head skirting.

Speaker 4 (01:54:16):
Goods.

Speaker 6 (01:54:19):
Stop.

Speaker 3 (01:54:20):
This is not homeworn, you know it's But I wasn't
prepared for the.

Speaker 11 (01:54:26):
Stables hurt more than in the aftermath, also than stitches
to me, because I've had stables.

Speaker 6 (01:54:30):
In my knee and they don't stretch, they don't give,
they don't move.

Speaker 3 (01:54:34):
I guess that's why they wanted to use them, because they.

Speaker 4 (01:54:37):
They're not worried about scarring or anything.

Speaker 8 (01:54:39):
But how about when you feel like you're going out
but you tried to deny honey, you okay, it's okay.

Speaker 4 (01:54:47):
You get that little cotton mouth about you, dry, dry mouth, pale,
feeling such a big needle, honey, are you going down?
Suddenly I'm holding I'm holding Harry, and Jac's looking out
of the corn of his eye like did you catch mom? Yeah?
Oh goodness.

Speaker 3 (01:55:06):
And then when they don't numb it real good, and
you start to feel it.

Speaker 4 (01:55:09):
Can you feel that you have you ever been in
a situation hospital you keep announcing, I can still feel
still fail, I'm.

Speaker 6 (01:55:17):
Still you know those are those nerves are very much alive.

Speaker 4 (01:55:22):
Right easy now. And yeah, when you have the when
they announced something's gonna be bad, that's the worst. And
when it's your kid, because all you're doing is it's
gonna be fine, don't hate, it's gonna be people. This
happens to people all the time, thinking about all the people,
you know, I always try that approach.

Speaker 8 (01:55:38):
Somebody said here they had one time fifty seven stishes stitches,
seven inside and outsidey and what happened? He was hit
see job with the tire iron when he was twenty one.

Speaker 4 (01:55:51):
It's been a good one.

Speaker 6 (01:55:52):
Oh, somebody broke his jaw with a tire iron.

Speaker 4 (01:55:54):
That'll do it, Yes, it will.

Speaker 6 (01:55:57):
Sorry about your job, buddy, Thanks for listening to the show.

Speaker 4 (01:56:01):
Did you just throw a sorry about your jaw buddy?
Thanks for listening. Yeah, isn't Yeah.

Speaker 11 (01:56:07):
I had I guess like five on the inside and
then seven on top of my eye when I smacked
it on the ground with skateboard.

Speaker 4 (01:56:14):
I remember that, Yeah, I remember that. That happened on
the show.

Speaker 11 (01:56:18):
Yeah, people say I look like Jason Momoa now though,
because that's cool.

Speaker 4 (01:56:24):
People do say that.

Speaker 6 (01:56:24):
Yeah, people say that all the time. Whoa is that
Jason Momoa? Oh no, that's Adler, Aqua. Man, he's got
a major one on his He looks like he got
hit by an axe.

Speaker 4 (01:56:36):
You're comparing your shift to the guy, not.

Speaker 6 (01:56:38):
Me, other people all the time, Aquaman.

Speaker 3 (01:56:41):
Look at that one, Rick, what does that one say?

Speaker 4 (01:56:43):
Also, the rocky from my Body partially woke up towards
the end of a sea set.

Speaker 2 (01:56:50):
Aaron.

Speaker 6 (01:56:50):
Aaron had an entire sea section with only half of
the whatever working the block. Half of the block was working.
She felt for her who left side with root. Yeah, no,
not a good day.

Speaker 4 (01:57:03):
That was the first time around.

Speaker 6 (01:57:04):
The second much smoother.

Speaker 4 (01:57:07):
No, does that mean that she's tougher than you or
just much Okay, there's no way we could do that,
no way. No human beings would already be done. They
wouldn't even exist anymore. The birthright to the top of
the hour.

Speaker 1 (01:57:23):
This is the Rick Burgess Show. Big Box Entertainment presents
The Rick Burgess Show with Speedy, Greg Burgess, Edie Van Adler,

(01:57:50):
and Rick Budget we're back.

Speaker 4 (01:57:53):
Thanks for being with us. Okay, brand new hour, as
you heard from the Great cannot friend. Everybody's here, Okay,
text people, text option people. Okay, watch the pictures now
of injuries. Hey, come on, I mean we we we
don't need to see pictures of your injuries. Let's let's

(01:58:14):
come on now, help us. Uh, it's like right there,
I'm trying not to look at some of these awful ends. Watch,
don't look down, don't put that out there. All right,
so we start a brand new hour. Thank you for
being with us. Uh, two boys six?

Speaker 3 (01:58:34):
All the staples I've lost.

Speaker 4 (01:58:35):
Count Yell, look at that guy's ahead. All right. I
can't look at this. I don't need a bunch of people.

Speaker 12 (01:58:43):
Let me.

Speaker 3 (01:58:43):
Let me tell you one thing that I know. I
was not designed for working in the emergency room.

Speaker 4 (01:58:49):
I can't do it. No, I have the tendency to
want to go the other way. I know, I looking
at that kind of stuff. You know, and you've talked
about this, Greg for years and and I'm I mean,
you are one hundred percent correct. What is this thing?

Speaker 3 (01:59:02):
If people want to show you, I don't.

Speaker 4 (01:59:03):
Know, they're there grows surgery scars and they get they
pull up and show.

Speaker 3 (01:59:09):
You know, none of us want to see that. I
don't want to see it.

Speaker 26 (01:59:13):
You can.

Speaker 3 (01:59:15):
You can simply tell us it was a bad injury.

Speaker 4 (01:59:17):
We don't have to see it. You can tell us
it was a rough surgery.

Speaker 3 (01:59:20):
We don't have to see it. Please don't show us.
We don't need visuals.

Speaker 4 (01:59:23):
I'm gonna go ahead and say, if anybody's listening that
thought about showing me that where they're cut open, just don't.

Speaker 3 (01:59:29):
I really don't want to know you.

Speaker 4 (01:59:32):
Yeah, but I don't want to have to look at
this car, and I'm going to try to eat later
that day. I don't want to see it flash back
in my mind. And then there's the other one. I'll
go this far. I can tell that you lost weight
without you showed me a picture of yourself and your
underwork that we can tell.

Speaker 3 (01:59:47):
We don't have to see all that.

Speaker 6 (01:59:48):
We're regular clothes.

Speaker 8 (01:59:49):
Yeah, we don't have to We don't have to see
all that. I know we all have nurses in our family.
Some way it takes. It's y'all are special. I don't
really I don't know how you do it.

Speaker 4 (01:59:58):
I'm glad you're here.

Speaker 3 (01:59:59):
I'm glad that you're here.

Speaker 4 (02:00:00):
And I'm like, how do you how do y'all look
at this? Bother me? It's good.

Speaker 3 (02:00:04):
Don't you think that people are here? Don't you think
they have a gift? Yeah, not to bother them, I do.

Speaker 4 (02:00:10):
I mean, now, look and you get down to emergency
situation where now you know it, it's got to be intense,
you know, and and you need help, no doubt. But
my job usually is to try to find people who
can give you the help. Yeah, you know it's because
But but as far as me saying, this is my
job and I'm here, I'm here today and all day long,
I deal with difficult things and see difficult things. I

(02:00:32):
think you have to have a gift for that, I think,
so yeah, I think I'm glad all of you do.
So thankful for them, so thankful now, you know. I
do know that, like everything else, we're trying to build
back up to excellence. And some of y'all need to
maybe have a few more run throughs on the IVY
before you're you know, put on the floor.

Speaker 6 (02:00:49):
But that's all right, yeah, let me know, let me
know if you're practicing.

Speaker 8 (02:00:53):
Right, Yeah, And I will tell you this though, some
of them, I love the I love the fact you
just announced, hey, let me go grab what's your name
or what's his name?

Speaker 3 (02:01:02):
That they're the best we got here. I thank you
for that.

Speaker 4 (02:01:07):
My vein, let's go, let's go get Arlene, bring her
in her now.

Speaker 3 (02:01:10):
My veins are easy. Yeah, lasers are non Whoever has
to do hers.

Speaker 4 (02:01:15):
They're like, this is hard. They get them the baby
things they have to use. But anyway, I have only
had one nurse miss on me ever, and I told
her I'm not being mean, but you're the only person
who's ever missed. You had to tell her that.

Speaker 6 (02:01:30):
I have to tell her that.

Speaker 4 (02:01:31):
Well at better, I thought, saying, you must really not
be good at this, because I mean, I've had some
like one.

Speaker 3 (02:01:39):
Eye that's not very encouraged.

Speaker 4 (02:01:41):
One eye. Just had somebody with one eye. They got it.
That one look like at least the wonderer. He couldn't
know I had. I couldn't have. But it came out
with massive, boy, you don't whatever missed on the mind,
but short, you must really suck it's not short imply

(02:02:02):
it was another example of rude tone. Yeah, I did
kindly ask the guy to go get somebody else one
time at getting it. I did, And I mean I
could tell he came in shaky. He did not look confident.
He was kind of fumbling around when he was opening
up the needles and trying to get everything ready. He
didn't seem confident. He didn't seem smooth. And after he

(02:02:23):
missed for about the third time, and I'm like, you,
I don't I don't really have that trouble. I said, hey, man,
you knew at this, and he was like, yes, sir,
And I say, hey, nice effort. But I got to
tell you, let's go get somebody. We're not gonna stick
me again. Okay, I consider that the last I've been
real patient to the first three and and only once

(02:02:45):
I had to look out the window and think of
my childhood.

Speaker 6 (02:02:47):
So keep going in and backing up and going in.

Speaker 4 (02:02:50):
So if you'd go out there, surely out there at
the day, there's somebody else. Yeah, and they they for
I have an addiction, because I've got holes all in,
And he did, and they brought somebody else in. Of
course she had no trouble, but yeah, and he was new.
He was a rookie. They guy, they got to start
someone like me though, if you had you know, a
history of having. But when I'm like you, I've never
had anybody man set one person.

Speaker 3 (02:03:10):
No, this guy was just nervous. He was he was
he was new at it. This is are horrible.

Speaker 4 (02:03:14):
They'll check her and they'll go oh, oh, yeah, they
get so and so and you know, and then then
you get to the point where they get one to collapse.

Speaker 6 (02:03:22):
Yeah, the tennis ball, let's try that. You know, they'll
have you squeezed something.

Speaker 4 (02:03:29):
Yeah. Somebody, somebody said shots in the big toe with
the worst. I would think I would think I would
they talking knuckle of the big toe or the tip
of the toe nail. I think they said, oh, I
would say that the worst I ever had was a
heel shot in the hill.

Speaker 3 (02:03:45):
You know, that's one of those things.

Speaker 6 (02:03:46):
A lot of a lot of nerves there.

Speaker 4 (02:03:48):
No, it's some positive. Just your regular shots. Now they've
came so long. I don't I don't hardly feel them.
When I was a kid, I don't know if the
needles are different. I was just fanicking. You were just
a kid. But no, but I just remember pain. They've
hardly any pain at all. Now they're really good at it. Now,
it's not not a problem. The I told you all
that story. Yeah, I told you that story. Tell me

(02:04:11):
when you start and they're done, oh yeah, yeah, yeah,
they're wiping you with alcohol.

Speaker 3 (02:04:15):
Easy, it's easy.

Speaker 4 (02:04:18):
Why you Why don't you have to act it? We
know what it looks like when they wife forget to
get that little band on you getting a showering the
uh but you know when you're gonna leave me more?

Speaker 11 (02:04:30):
Ye?

Speaker 4 (02:04:37):
Oh god, shut the text. Oh that's so much bone.
Oh my gosh, why is that being a man?

Speaker 3 (02:04:58):
Whoever said the only man look at grow things?

Speaker 4 (02:05:00):
I never heard that before. Look just one time, just
like Wick, no one, Mississippi. Look, I'm not looking. I
don't want to see it. Please stop. Well they mercy,
I'm yelling mercy.

Speaker 3 (02:05:11):
Who takes a picture of an open wound?

Speaker 6 (02:05:14):
That was like an axe wound?

Speaker 4 (02:05:16):
How about I would not want to see that if
it was me, I'm danger don't want to picture.

Speaker 3 (02:05:21):
I wouldn't want to remember it.

Speaker 4 (02:05:22):
That's so much they were sharp. If somebody has the
worst one, yes, of course, what I mean you don't
know about the human concept?

Speaker 3 (02:05:30):
That ain't nothing.

Speaker 4 (02:05:30):
Look at this, I want it.

Speaker 3 (02:05:33):
Right, that's scroll I'm not looking at that scrolls.

Speaker 4 (02:05:37):
It's at the bottom.

Speaker 6 (02:05:38):
It won't scroll.

Speaker 3 (02:05:38):
Somebody takes something else, you'll start text somebody. Just start
turning it off. Just turn just turn the whole thing off.

Speaker 4 (02:05:45):

Speaker 3 (02:05:47):
Okay, now, okay, looking at I want to sleep again.

Speaker 4 (02:05:59):

Speaker 4 (02:06:01):
Okay, good, thank y'all.

Speaker 3 (02:06:03):
Please stop now, please, that's enough.

Speaker 4 (02:06:06):

Speaker 3 (02:06:07):
Looked like a file at Who takes a picture of
their open wound?

Speaker 4 (02:06:11):

My goodness, Oh my god, I was gonna go eat.
That's two times I've tried to bring up this John
Rocker thing, and I think I update on Who cares
about that?

Speaker 6 (02:06:32):
Somebody said an old classic car. There's a picture of
their kid.

Speaker 4 (02:06:35):

Speaker 3 (02:07:29):
All right, So, Field of Greens, Field.

Speaker 4 (02:07:32):
Of Greens is I had a text earlier saying all right,
and I was saving it till we actually talked about
it today. What do I need to mix with the
Field of greens powder? So I will say this, orange
juice will never fail you. Now, if you don't like
orange juice, then you can go to something else. But
orange juice will never fail you. And then they asked

(02:07:55):
me which flavor I just I like the green, the
original green.

Speaker 21 (02:07:59):
I like it.

Speaker 4 (02:07:59):
But they have what is an adder? They have the berry,
the wild berries. I think there's a yeah, wildberry.

Speaker 6 (02:08:06):
They got strawberry lemonade, they got lemon.

Speaker 4 (02:08:08):
Lime, yeah yeah, and those are those are all good.
But if you're looking for something to mix it with,
if you don't just like it with water, orange juice
is great. If you're somebody who likes a cranberry juice,
that works great with it. So if you have not
started Field of Greens. This is the most logical decision

(02:08:29):
you could make. This product makes sure that you and
of course I take it me us that we're getting
the proper nutrition.

Speaker 3 (02:08:39):
Doctors. These are all scientifically researched.

Speaker 4 (02:08:42):
These are the fruits and the vegetables that the body
needs to work peak efficient. I mean, we're talking about efficiency,
the way the body's supposed to work. This is the fuel, okay.
And we're talking about things like your heart, your liver,
we're talking about your kidneys, we're talking about your immune system.
Everything the body does, it does it better if it's

(02:09:04):
getting the proper nutrition. And you can go out and
you can exercise, and you certainly need to. But I'm
just going to tell you from experience, you'll never outwork
bad eating. And sometimes it's hard to get this done
in your own diet, okay, So make sure that Field
of Greens is part of your routine. It is a
game changer. Your doctor will notice the results. Mine certainly has.

(02:09:24):
If your doctor doesn't notice an improvement, they will refund
the money. So Fieldofgreens dot com save twenty percent using
our code big Vox, or just go to rickburgesshow dot com.
Under the sponsors all right, So I really would hate
to have to turn the text option off.

Speaker 3 (02:09:42):
I'm closed, but we just can't.

Speaker 4 (02:09:44):
We just can't do that.

Speaker 3 (02:09:46):
We can't do that. Let's talk about this. Just please
show show mercy.

Speaker 4 (02:09:52):
I know some of you that you love to show
your injuries to people and your horror, but please don't.
We don't, none of us. We don't want to see that.
Speedy's all right, but hold it together. I've seen Speedy
nearly pass out twice.

Speaker 3 (02:10:05):
Yeah, that's disgusting.

Speaker 4 (02:10:07):
And I just saw him. I think people are just googling,
you know, yeah, nasty injuries and sending it to Yeah,
and I just watched Speedy go put his his his
oatmeal up. You can't eat it?

Speaker 2 (02:10:16):
No I did.

Speaker 4 (02:10:16):
I had two bites left. If you if you got.

Speaker 6 (02:10:20):
Bit by a bear, we don't want to see it.

Speaker 4 (02:10:23):
Can I tell you this?

Speaker 3 (02:10:24):
Here's what I would like. Let's try this.

Speaker 4 (02:10:26):
I wouldn't have minded to hear the story about the tireron?

Speaker 3 (02:10:31):
What happened?

Speaker 2 (02:10:31):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (02:10:32):
Who hit you with the tyron?

Speaker 6 (02:10:34):
The story?

Speaker 3 (02:10:34):
I wouldn't mind.

Speaker 4 (02:10:35):
I just don't want to. Can I turn this off? Yes?
I don't know what to do.

Speaker 8 (02:10:38):
I'm turning it off Okay, so it's just a mangled
hand was just sent to us. Seriously, it looked like
ground chuck you would get in a grocery store.

Speaker 6 (02:10:49):
Okay, all right, eighty twenty Yeah it was lean.

Speaker 4 (02:10:53):
I'll give it that. I know you didn't go with
just ground B for ground shout, quite a ground round.
It's like, all right, so somebody helped me with this
John Rocker. Why why does John Rocker and Patrick mahomes
Dad hate each other? What happened the story? Listen and
you can back me up maybe on Adler and I

(02:11:13):
halfway read the story, guys, which is basically the story
of this show. Yes, well, I don't want to do
it any other way. They're they're going to have a
celebrity fight portnoy from a barstoo. Yes, am I right
about this?

Speaker 6 (02:11:27):
Yes, that's what I've heard.

Speaker 4 (02:11:28):
There's some kind of fight that there was that all
set up to promote. Wonder Now, why do I want
to watch John Rocker fight Patrick mahomes Dad. I don't know.
Isn't this like the famous Greg the movie We Love
Used Cars? You know bo Bice's brother Eric? Yeah, because

(02:11:48):
John Rocker is not boxing Patrick mahomes No, Mahomes his dad.

Speaker 3 (02:11:54):
That's not the same.

Speaker 4 (02:11:55):
I agree, yeah, so, but it's something I didn't get
the details. It's some kind of am I wrong about that?
It's some kind of beef. Now that he claims that
they've never liked each other, I guess their careers actually crossed.
They act like they did.

Speaker 6 (02:12:07):
Yeah, they both played in the majors.

Speaker 4 (02:12:09):
Yeah, but I thought they were a different are from
maybe there.

Speaker 6 (02:12:11):
I think you're right. I think Pat Mahomes's dad is
a little bit older, but.

Speaker 4 (02:12:15):
Maybe any of his careers starting the Rockers. I don't know,
but I keep hearing there's supposed to be some like fight.
All right, So then that is that what this post means, then, Adler,
because we have we have Rocker posting day one of training.
There's limping complete Pat Mahomes Senior will wish he never fed.
Well excuse me, yeah, you can't read it. Never mind,

(02:12:37):
Thank you, Ron Burgundy.

Speaker 3 (02:12:38):
I thought that said. I'm glad. I'm glad I didn't.
He's not feeling right.

Speaker 4 (02:12:43):
I've never okay, Anyway, after April the eighteenth, he'll regret
ever messed with me.

Speaker 3 (02:12:48):
So they're gonna fight on the eighteenth th April.

Speaker 11 (02:12:51):
It looks like I see a tweet from Portnoy that
says it's official paperwork was signed Mahomes Senior versus John Rocker,
April nineteen.

Speaker 3 (02:13:00):
Yeah, then that this has to be something.

Speaker 4 (02:13:02):
Okay, this would get it off Rockers.

Speaker 6 (02:13:06):
Rockers a thick boy like speedy.

Speaker 4 (02:13:08):
Yeah, but by some muscles. I don't know why you
say that, right? And I notice how that the same
problem I do.

Speaker 3 (02:13:13):
He does, Actually, he certainly does.

Speaker 4 (02:13:18):
Since we're updating stories, I got a little updated on
the plane crash Vince Nils. Oh do you okay?

Speaker 21 (02:13:22):
Great?

Speaker 4 (02:13:23):
It was plane hit, his plane hit Vince Vaughn's. No,
Vaughn's uh plane was parked No, and that they're playing
the landing gear came down, crashed Vince Nils plane crashed
into Vince Vaughn's plans. What I read, Okay, Vince on
Vince crime, what side of that?

Speaker 3 (02:13:42):
I tell you?

Speaker 4 (02:13:43):
What that that what y'all checked me on that?

Speaker 11 (02:13:45):
No?

Speaker 6 (02:13:46):
I think you're right.

Speaker 4 (02:13:46):
I read that right.

Speaker 3 (02:13:47):
And horrible that the pilot died. Okay, so let's that's
nice for you.

Speaker 6 (02:13:52):
Horrible.

Speaker 4 (02:13:53):
But what I'm saying is, but think about if you're
Vince Vaughn, would a bip. That is that that now
your plane's been first.

Speaker 3 (02:14:03):
Little beer.

Speaker 4 (02:14:04):
It does. But what are the odds? Not only two celebrities,
but two celebrities named Vince happened to have their private
jets crash into each other at a at an airport.

Speaker 3 (02:14:14):
I mean odds, not odds. I'm very high with all that. Now,
So are we now? Is it official?

Speaker 4 (02:14:19):
The landing gear didn't lock, didn't lock, I think, and
that's what happened. Lapsed. Yeah, let me tell you if
I'm that That thing about the landing gear locking, that's
a big one. Yeah, yeah, it's I know some people
that have been in a situation where they weren't sure
if it was locked or not, and they were trying
to fly by the tier can you tell? We really
can't tell. Got to bring it on down anyway, and

(02:14:41):
they had to get ready for a belly landing. Uh,
you gotta fly around burn all you feel. Thank thank
the Lord it did. It was locked, but they couldn't tell.
You know that the indicator was. It was kind of
kind of iffy.

Speaker 23 (02:14:51):
Uh huh.

Speaker 4 (02:14:52):
So uh well it's not it's awful. And so now
we know that John Rocker is going to fight Patrick
Mahomes's dad. I didn't know we all wanted that. I'm
not sure what do we have the big puffy gloves
on like they did in a celebrity fight, and we
know that Vince Neil's playing hit Vince Vaughan's play. Yeah, well,
these are important updates today, some famous Vince's. Yeah, but

(02:15:15):
I'm still back to the original thing we were talking
about that led to that update. When did we start
caring about a dispute? Yeah, between John Rocker and Patrick
Mahomes's dad. Okay, he like you said, I got a
celebrity fight. I'm trying to how do you come to
that pair? Yeah? First of all, you got to deal
with who they are. Okay, Now, who's gonna fight who?

(02:15:36):
You remember John Rocker and somebody might say not really, Yeah,
you do you remember John Rocker kind of controversial play.
Baseball did an interview. Yeah, kind of all right, you
don't know who Patrick Mahomes says, Yeah, he gonna fight
Patrick Mahomes. No, he's gonna fight his dad. Okay, I
don't know anything about his dad. You know major League
Baseball broers. I think he'll get a DUI if you

(02:15:57):
don't watch it.

Speaker 6 (02:15:57):
Yeah, he said three. Patrick hald Senior is fifty four.
John Rocker is fifty so at least they're in the
same decade.

Speaker 4 (02:16:05):
Yeah, so their careers did call. Okay, Bill Belichick, so
that sounds a little young for me. We'll be back.

Speaker 1 (02:16:14):
This is the Rick Burgess Show. This is where Logic
Beats left, the Rick Burgish Show.

Speaker 3 (02:16:36):
Yeah, thanks for being with us. Our number we'll get
to some of your phone calls.

Speaker 4 (02:16:40):
Eight eight. Ah's the number six the big box.

Speaker 3 (02:16:45):
So I guess.

Speaker 4 (02:16:50):
Greg, if you want to, I mean, we could do
Burgess Ball and get this over with. I know you've
been thinking about it. It don't matter, man, come on.
So so this here's here's what we're playing for. Okay,
we're doing this. Yeah, sure, we're going to be playing for.
If I beat Greg, then he can no longer hide
his Jimmy Dean instant breakfast for what was it called
Jimmy Dean?

Speaker 3 (02:17:07):
You get one, I get one Jimmy Dean.

Speaker 4 (02:17:09):
Okay, and torow No, you will do it tomorrow? Yeah, tomorrow, Greg,
because I mean if I win today, then tomorrow and
then you're playing to have one of the protein bars
that I really like that you for some reason bought
fourteen of them and hit them from us.

Speaker 3 (02:17:25):
But then right, you could have seen you. Yeah, but
I think so we can enjoy That's what this is.

Speaker 4 (02:17:31):
So we can enjoy giving each other a hard time,
which is I mean why I have a brother if
you can't do that?

Speaker 3 (02:17:36):
And that we shoot separately.

Speaker 4 (02:17:39):
So you'll have thirty sexons to score as many points
as you can, and then I'll have thirty seconds to
score any as many points as I can, and then
the winner.

Speaker 3 (02:17:47):
You know, this will be a burgess ball breakfast battle. Yes, okay,
give me your numbers one. Mine's eight.

Speaker 4 (02:17:55):
Okay, so you're the highest, Okay, I'm gonna go second.

Speaker 6 (02:18:00):
He's the highest, so he gets to choose what if
he was the lowest?

Speaker 4 (02:18:05):
Speedy? That wasn't the rule?

Speaker 3 (02:18:07):
Adler heard that the highest number gets to pick a
couple of second.

Speaker 4 (02:18:11):
Wouldn't it be?

Speaker 6 (02:18:11):
Wouldn't it be? He's number one? So he gets I'm just.

Speaker 11 (02:18:16):
What is this?

Speaker 4 (02:18:17):
What do you think?

Speaker 3 (02:18:17):
This is a dirty sandle?

Speaker 8 (02:18:19):
That would be like two people standing beside each other
saying the shortest one wins.

Speaker 11 (02:18:22):
Yeah, Oh I'm sorry, Oh that's not even would be
like the person with the longest hair wins.

Speaker 4 (02:18:27):
Okay, so here we go.

Speaker 6 (02:18:31):
Number one one player just.

Speaker 3 (02:18:33):
Hit our play play plight, so Greg our play play play?
All right, so Greg, which one window?

Speaker 4 (02:18:42):
Oh it is that one? Yes?

Speaker 3 (02:18:44):
Oh no, I hate shooting over there.

Speaker 4 (02:18:46):
I can change it for real, says hey Greg, Greg, seriously,
how are you shooting with that? With that, with that
tight shirt on?

Speaker 6 (02:18:54):
Greg missed like six seconds.

Speaker 4 (02:18:57):
He just shot over on the other one. All you've
already beat your Greg watching.

Speaker 27 (02:19:02):
Greg, your grand kids are watching, grand kids are watching.
Your grandkids are watching bread. Don't you damn miss another?
He's got the team going for Leila for Ley.

Speaker 4 (02:19:14):
Really, he's on the road. Twenty two. He got a
p R. Twenty two is good. It's pretty good with you.
That's a good job. But that's a good job.

Speaker 6 (02:19:27):
Twenty two.

Speaker 4 (02:19:29):
What if it's a tie?

Speaker 6 (02:19:30):
What if it's a tie?

Speaker 4 (02:19:31):
No shoot, no bricks, no bricks now overt Yeah we
got hey, what if it's a tie.

Speaker 6 (02:19:39):
What if it's a tie? Let me wrestle over time
arm wrestling, arm wrestle.

Speaker 4 (02:19:45):
Okay, what.

Speaker 5 (02:19:48):
You cheers?

Speaker 2 (02:19:50):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (02:19:50):
What alright?

Speaker 16 (02:19:51):
Go?

Speaker 4 (02:19:57):
Actually, never got full you'll never get back up second
that way.

Speaker 6 (02:20:02):
Not look at the rim, not the clock. Look at
the ram, not the clock. Well boy, oh wow, he
destroying it.

Speaker 4 (02:20:09):
I'm sixteen eighteen. Oh wow, oh.

Speaker 6 (02:20:14):
Ten seconds left, one points, twenty one, twenty twenty.

Speaker 4 (02:20:28):
There was at least five seconds off the clock before
I ever show. Well that's one, and you act. Okay,
Now that's my fault. Y'all looking at me. Wait up,
and I'm waiting. Well, you can go again.

Speaker 12 (02:20:42):
I may.

Speaker 6 (02:20:43):
Let's do this again.

Speaker 4 (02:20:44):
Let's do this exactly. Is he always complain with you?

Speaker 21 (02:20:46):
No?

Speaker 4 (02:20:46):
No, no, no you win? No, no, no, gonna get him?

Speaker 6 (02:20:48):
No, no soon?

Speaker 3 (02:20:49):
Straight up, straight up.

Speaker 4 (02:20:51):
Let's take my twenty four and then you beat If
you can beat it, you win. No, I'm not shooting
again because yeah yeah, let him go far square Tom Firsday.

Speaker 3 (02:21:00):
You said it about the ruler of the game.

Speaker 19 (02:21:01):
I just hit.

Speaker 4 (02:21:03):
This is your game. You hit twenty two.

Speaker 6 (02:21:06):
Greg didn't go Frankly, I don't know why didn't.

Speaker 4 (02:21:09):
He was he was talking about a microphone. I thought
we were waiting only one by two points. So if
you want to be you have three points, you could win.
He got twenty four, right or twenty two? I want
what did you get you? Twenty two?

Speaker 21 (02:21:20):
No?

Speaker 4 (02:21:21):
I want this to be this.

Speaker 6 (02:21:23):
Let's there's no way show twenty seven twenty seven? Right, yeah,
you kept shooting?

Speaker 4 (02:21:27):
Yeah yeah, So go again.

Speaker 3 (02:21:28):
It's if you be twenty seven, you beat twenty seven.

Speaker 4 (02:21:30):
I wanted to be clean. We do not have any
We can't have this, no questions.

Speaker 6 (02:21:35):
I'll hear this the rest of my life, no questions.

Speaker 4 (02:21:38):
So you beat twenty seven, you win? Straight up? Here
comes yeah, Greg, Wait a minute, how are you even
lifting your arms in that shirt? How's your arms even lifting?
Can you great lift your arms and then like you
can pick them up? Dude? You all right?

Speaker 6 (02:21:54):
Now go now, go go go, don't go Greg, go.

Speaker 4 (02:22:00):
Greg. By the way, he's lost room. He's not room
in your head right now. I'm enjoying being in your
mind right now. There's so much room in here.

Speaker 6 (02:22:08):
He's got ten, he's got my.

Speaker 4 (02:22:11):
God, he's he's got sixteen with ten seconds. Well, oh
my gosh, he's got twenty two.

Speaker 6 (02:22:19):
Oh my gosh, he's got twenty five. Shirt missed the
whole thing.

Speaker 4 (02:22:40):
You missed the whole thing. He took the whole thing off.
Got straight up right there because I would have heard
it forever shirts and skilled obtaining it.

Speaker 3 (02:22:49):
Okay, let's go one more time? You were a sore
loser one he won match.

Speaker 4 (02:22:57):
I just wanted to show that everything so so much?
Why don't we do this?

Speaker 12 (02:23:01):
Rick?

Speaker 6 (02:23:01):
Could you get another go?

Speaker 4 (02:23:02):
Can I believe you missed his shirt off?

Speaker 6 (02:23:04):
I didn't know he was popping.

Speaker 3 (02:23:06):
I mean we shout out.

Speaker 4 (02:23:08):
I think I've had my shirt off. Nothing on the show.

Speaker 3 (02:23:10):
By the way, that that forward menwalk ut been looking for.

Speaker 4 (02:23:12):
I was doing it.

Speaker 19 (02:23:14):
I saw it.

Speaker 4 (02:23:16):
Why don't we do that? Look, you won the man?
Why don't we do this? Why does everything got so
much drama?

Speaker 3 (02:23:22):
He won the match, Let's do this.

Speaker 4 (02:23:25):
You were twenty seven, I was twenty two.

Speaker 3 (02:23:26):
I probably wouldn't make I'm gonna scored, if you want
to be fair.

Speaker 4 (02:23:29):
If you were twenty seven and I was twenty two,
whatever time I missed, there's no way I could have scored,
even if I hit every one of them.

Speaker 3 (02:23:36):
Well, I'm glad you beat me to that. That's true,
but who knows. Now here's what's gonna happen. Here's what
I'm gonna do side, Here's what I just.

Speaker 4 (02:23:45):
Wanted to look controversy because I'm gonna be honest with
you growing up. If we competed. Nothing ever happened without controversy.
The end result was questioned every single time. Okay, am
I wrong? Unless it was just well, oh no, you're right,
matter of fact that that was a side of me
just a little bit. I thought, well, here he goes again,
Here we go again. When we were younger, he wouldn't

(02:24:07):
give in, and it would end with me taking a
ball and throwing it at a t that's and would
open the door and tell me to come in the house.
I'm going to get some Jimmy Dean today.

Speaker 3 (02:24:15):
Okay, any meat lovers.

Speaker 4 (02:24:19):
All let me take it? Can I take a look?
Ause I won't say that's one I want? Yeah, hold
on them, but no, who's going to eat it.

Speaker 3 (02:24:23):
Well, here's what we're gonna do. Here's what I propose.
I think that's here's what I would propose.

Speaker 4 (02:24:28):
Adam. Do you have your judge stuff?

Speaker 3 (02:24:30):
I know this is an official Yeah, I got them,
but you gotta be careful verdict.

Speaker 4 (02:24:35):
Uh yeah, I can't.

Speaker 3 (02:24:37):
He's no, he's not a non parcel judge. I can't
have to. You're his you're his rule of law.

Speaker 4 (02:24:42):
Yeah, I propose, since it's under controversy, I propose that
Greg has to give me the Jimmy Dean Simple Scrambler's
Meat Lover's Edition, and I also have to give him
a protein bar.

Speaker 3 (02:24:56):
We just switched breakfast. Okay, yeah, that's great. That same fair.

Speaker 4 (02:25:01):
I bet I amiding I'm wrong word, But see you
are losing something because I am getting to Jimmy Dean.
But you did, and but you came back and proved
that you could score twenty eight. Yeah what should you did?
Prove a good gamer there? Yeah? It was wow? And
so I will let you have one of my protein
bars for the for the twenty eight, and then I
still get Jimmy Dean for winning the original match. How's

(02:25:23):
that feel? Then you'll get hooked on Jimmy Dean and
you won't. Then I'm gonna be Then I'm gonna be
like some heroin attic and I'm gonna be asking for
Jimmy Dean meat love every day until Trainer Sean slaps
out of my hand. I thought it was I want
to eat in that. Well, that's what I want. He
would only have to eat that if he lost. When
he came back and scored that twenty eight, it's almost
to get canceled. The yoga, and now he is he

(02:25:44):
is more susceptible to colon cancer than me. But I mean,
besides that.

Speaker 6 (02:25:49):
I think that's fair and I will rule on that
if that's good.

Speaker 4 (02:25:51):
With you guys.

Speaker 3 (02:25:52):
Okay, yeah, what is your wig?

Speaker 6 (02:25:54):
Cord? Is in session?

Speaker 4 (02:25:55):
Where's your wig?

Speaker 6 (02:25:57):
A cord?

Speaker 1 (02:25:58):
Is a jerk?

Speaker 4 (02:26:03):
It's like he's been giving the gavel. He's not he's
not sure with with Stein. With Stein, Well, that's not
even that's not how you use that. We come back,
we talk to the people. Next, Speedy goes to the phones.

And the good news is he absolutely is going to
be on here as soon as we can get him
back on.

Speaker 3 (02:27:24):
He had he had to.

Speaker 4 (02:27:27):
Make other arrangements today because his brother just passed away,
and his brother has gone through a lot of rough,
rough health issues. And but you know, when you're when
you're doing, you know, thankful that the suffering is over.
But anytime you're dealing with the earthly death of you know,
anyone close to you, especially your brother, you know, and
this also means that, uh, you know his wife, Suzanne,

(02:27:50):
that's that's her husband. He's got a daughter and a Catherine,
and their son Will had already passed away here recently
as well. So so just would the Grosky family be
praying for them? They they are people of faith, They
certainly understand all of this, but they they've been through
a lot lately. You know, Scott's father passed away not

(02:28:11):
too long ago as well, so they've been going through
a lot. So just those of you that were kind
of asking, hey, I thought we were going to get
what's eaton Scott Groski today, you are correct that was scheduled.
But I just heard from Scott and he gave me
permission to go ahead and let you guys know why
he couldn't be here today. So just to remember their
family and your prayers as they grieve. To the phones,

I know what it's like to go over to where
all the Valentine's Day stuff and everybody's putting them in
the bags and you're not having one in there, you know.
I mean it's uh. Remember you had that one girl,
you'd have a crush out and you wanted to get
one from herders that beat my Valentine. Yes, I thought
she ever worked out. I thought she really was goofy

(02:35:40):
for me. Only to discover that there were cards that
their parents bought from Disney. I thought was goofy for me.
I didn't realized there was just Disney cards that anybody
could get, And basically her parents told her to be
nice and give everybody in the platform.

Thank you for being with us as we start a
brand new hour much to do on the old program today,
and you can join us. Speedy, Greg and Adler are
all here. If you missed any of the show today,
you have missed a lot. Go back on the daily
archives and enjoy those on the YouTube channel or our

(02:38:37):
podcast channel. Yesterday's Wednesday Bible Study archive is there. Now
we start the first installment from the Book of Joke.
All right, So as we start this hour, and I
don't want to get back. I do not want to
get back to this, Okay, So I'm not going to
open this door. But Greg, you drew my attention to it, Okay,

(02:39:02):
So I asked, I don't want to go back to it.
We got to talking about injuries earlier in the program,
and I'm not going to go back to that. Okay,
Please don't. Let's don't do that again. We had moved on,
but I know we please No, I'm just saying no,
but we did ask I said, I tell you what
I would like to hear. I would like to hear
how the guy got his face bashed by tire iron.

(02:39:24):
What happened? Now we have the story, Yeah, the story,
and it's not a good one. And so it and
Greg had saying his picture wasn't that gross?

Speaker 3 (02:39:32):
Really, no it was, but I cooked jaws. I was
just saying I was interested in that story.

Speaker 4 (02:39:36):
You know what happens?

Speaker 3 (02:39:38):
Did you get hit with it with a tyre iron?

Speaker 10 (02:39:40):
And uh?

Speaker 4 (02:39:41):
It is a listener from Pennsylvania, and I'll leave it
that my cousin and I were camping in a campground
with the ladies.

Speaker 3 (02:39:50):
Yeah, when we were young.

Speaker 4 (02:39:52):
Had a bonfire. Yeah, four dudes came into our campsite
from the woods, not good in the backwoods of Pennsylvania
because they they were stuck in the mud and wanted help,
is what they told us. Oh no, we said no,
thank you, not happening, and they jumped us, uh, rather
than back in the woods near their truck. I was

(02:40:15):
hit first and it broke my jaw. My cousin was
hit twice in the back of the head. The guy
who hit us got two counts with assault with the
deadly weapon. Sorry for the picture of my jaw face
yours wasn't that bad. Didn't mean but here's what he said.
He's not apologizing for that because it wasn't bad. I
seemed like I may have kicked off what everybody else did.

Speaker 3 (02:40:34):
Yeah, he's gonna have to.

Speaker 4 (02:40:37):
I want to know what happened after that? Did they
you know, how you get help to them? Did those
people basically they got jumped, I know, but it end well,
he said that, like, why did they ever get these
people arrested? I got hit with a tyron.

Speaker 3 (02:40:53):
It sounds like they leave.

Speaker 4 (02:40:55):
Then we just found our way out of the woods.
They robbed us. Yeah, hey, I wantn't I want to
know they was up? And how do we find out
who they were? And I know that we all you
know how sometimes and I'm going to acknowledge this sometimes,
as Greg and I have said many times, and Adler
was sent here by God to give us some shed
some light on it that Greg and I thought that
we were raised normal in a normal father son's relationship.

(02:41:20):
To discover that our relationship was quite unique in many ways.
It wasn't bad. So sometimes when I think that, it
seems like that people don't and I think this is
good that it really at one time wasn't all that
uncommon for there to be a fisticuff among young males,
and maybe there's more that. And I realized, I just
don't run in those circles anymore. Is it that we

(02:41:42):
were running in circles where that stuff was more prominent?

Speaker 12 (02:41:45):
We had a.

Speaker 4 (02:41:46):
Neighborhood full of kids, and I believe I've punched and
got punched by every friend I ever had. In that
great that statement right there, let's let's just can we
just rest on it for at some point, at some point,
every them and they punched me, but we've pushed each
on the face, every one of us. Yep, you had

(02:42:07):
not one that wasn't punching the foot. Greg just said
I punched every friend ever had, and every friend ever
had punched more pretty much well in the neighborhood. That
was true now as we became, as we got bigger,
when we got a big younger, bigger males, but we
could find ourselves in these situations and much different. Not
as cute, no situations exactly, not near as cute. That's
the email of Colin right there.

Speaker 3 (02:42:28):
Okay, to finish the rest story, Okay, all right, so it.

Speaker 4 (02:42:32):
Is Jeremy, it should be yeah, Jeremy. Uh, so you
gave us, You gave us kind of the the out.
We got the basics of the story. Sorry that happened.
But so like, how did y'all get medical help? How
was this?

Speaker 3 (02:42:45):
Did they run off and then get arrested later?

Speaker 1 (02:42:48):
What happened?

Speaker 2 (02:42:49):
Yeah?

Speaker 18 (02:42:49):
They did the all corn I saw the one guy
that hit tiring, he threw it in the woods, you know,
and all corps ran off. But my cousin's girls and
spotted one of them and knew his name, and then
the state the state police went to his house and
then he gave up the story of who hit who

(02:43:11):
and what happened, and they I think he got like
thirteen years, but the DA told me that he'll probably
only serve me to that. But like I said, that
was when I was twenty one and I'm forty seven now,
So that was Did.

Speaker 4 (02:43:27):
They want to rob y'all? Were they trying to rob me?

Speaker 13 (02:43:29):
Man?

Speaker 4 (02:43:29):
Because you wouldn't let him get out of the money?

Speaker 6 (02:43:31):
What?

Speaker 21 (02:43:31):
What? What? What?

Speaker 3 (02:43:32):
Were they angry?

Speaker 21 (02:43:32):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (02:43:33):
What was their motivation?

Speaker 18 (02:43:36):
I honestly don't know because they never really stole anything
other than the tech out of us.

Speaker 3 (02:43:41):
And uh was one of the originally, did y'all take
somebody's lady?

Speaker 18 (02:43:47):
No, not that unless my cousin lied to me.

Speaker 21 (02:43:50):
But mine, mine's actually my.

Speaker 18 (02:43:52):
Wife still today.

Speaker 4 (02:43:53):
So they all right, wow, well that was a camp
camp out that counted last date, right, So your cousin
who got hit in the back of the head twice,
how bad were his injuries?

Speaker 18 (02:44:06):
But it actually split him open. It didn't actually break
the skull, but he had that It was kind of
weird imember standing like they had like a wire where
they stitched it back together. It was like one long
piece of blue almost looked like electric sensing.

Speaker 21 (02:44:19):
Yeah, yeah, he uh.

Speaker 18 (02:44:23):
I think he had a pretty bad concussion, but it
actually just breakall Yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:44:26):
In those days, though, people weren't so dramatic about concussions.
All right, So let me you guys were camping out.
You told us that got jumped by guys who claimed
they were stuck in the mud. They beat you guys
up bad with a weapon, a tyre iron, and then
ran off, and you never knew what their motivation was.
You said that you told them you weren't going to
help them get out of the mud because you thought

(02:44:47):
they were trying to jump you.

Speaker 18 (02:44:50):
Yeah, I think that's what their plan was. They were
going to take us back there and then probably maybe
just beat.

Speaker 4 (02:44:55):
Up the well they were won't row you and tried
to take you.

Speaker 21 (02:45:00):
Well, we'll do it right here.

Speaker 3 (02:45:01):
Yeah, yes, wow here, Okay, thanks man, appreciate that.

Speaker 21 (02:45:04):
Thanks. Oh I just had to say one more thing.
I'm the guy that made the gabble for you guys.

Speaker 4 (02:45:09):
All right, that's a weird irony, A strange irony.

Speaker 3 (02:45:13):
That the same guy, a strange irony.

Speaker 6 (02:45:16):
Thanks, Jeremy the man.

Speaker 4 (02:45:18):
You basically made a weapon for Adam, so there he
just used it a few minutes ago, did Thanks Jeremy.

Speaker 3 (02:45:25):
Wow, how about that?

Speaker 6 (02:45:26):
That was a great call.

Speaker 4 (02:45:28):
Wow, thank you?

Speaker 6 (02:45:29):
I ruled out a good call.

Speaker 4 (02:45:32):

Speaker 3 (02:47:46):

you take that down.

Speaker 4 (02:47:51):
Help us. You know what you do when you come
in on Valentine's Day? You can come in whatever you
got Lee Lee, and say it's beginning to feel a
lot like Chris Ellentines is he? I love you, little
Lee Lee? So there you go. U. You were just
staring at me, she would, she would, Then you start

(02:48:14):
dancing like, yeah, looking at there. You've heard of it, right, sure,
you know it's just shere has been after me all week.
I'm like, way too Valentine, gracious, too much information. I
didn't know that. Okay, somewhere there's a lot of wives

(02:48:35):
with their eyes rolling around. Oh yeah, right, okay, so
let's talk about we were we were riding from the
supper last night and and and Terry.

Speaker 8 (02:48:49):
I was just kind of, you know, elbow rested my
hands in there she went and she grabbed my hand
and I said, hell now, I said, honey, I'm driving.

Speaker 4 (02:48:58):
She just looked there like, what's wrong with you? Spend
a wonderful day? You ever do this when it's holiday
or or birthday. I'll tell you what you play cards run?

Speaker 23 (02:49:08):
Thank you for that.

Speaker 4 (02:49:11):
Wow, but speeding throughout. You know, A much more broader
point is women actually think that sometimes just a little
you know, like that a hand touch, it just means
I'm being sweet.

Speaker 3 (02:49:23):
And I really enjoyed spending time with We always.

Speaker 4 (02:49:29):
Easy. All just can't go outside.

Speaker 3 (02:49:42):
Everybody stopped, Okay, stop.

Speaker 4 (02:49:45):
I don't know how you make this transition to government waste,
but I'm gonna try. It's there, hand in hand. So
it's funny watching a lion just upset everybody. And we
kind of wish his kid wouldn't pick his nose, uh,
wouldn't pick his right and wipe something on the president's desk.
But anyway, but we here he is announcing Trump's gonna

(02:50:07):
come into eline for everything he's done. And then he's
gonna say, hey, we just getting started in boy, are
they finding some government waste? We'll run And I don't
know why anybody is pro government waste of our tax dollars? Crazy?
And can we come together? I keep saying this every day.
Surely we can come together on this one. But here
here's Trump commending elon.

Speaker 22 (02:50:27):
Tremendous fraud is tremendous fraud, and it's hard to believe
that you can have that kind of fraud you're talking about, like,
are you talking about what?

Speaker 4 (02:50:37):
Wait?

Speaker 22 (02:50:37):
Wait, wait, are which are you're talking You're talking about
with regard to all of the investigations that are going
on about this stupidity. What we're going to do is tomorrow,
I'm having a news conference. I'm going to read to
you some of the names that hundreds of millions and
even billions of dollars have been given to. And if
you tell me that we should be giving money to
those things, those entities, I think you'll probably have to

(02:51:01):
leave as a reporter because you're not very talented. When
you look at the kind of money, billions and billions
of dollars being thrown away illegally, and there's no there's
no chance, I mean, I say, in in front of
our our Attorney general, there's no chance that there's not
kickbacks or something going on. When you give millions and
millions of dollars to somebody that stands to look at

(02:51:23):
something for fifteen minutes and walks away with millions of dollars,
that money's coming back in some form. And that's only
one form of corruption. The biggest thing is what they
do to our country. They're taking massive amounts of money
and spending it on items. I went through a list
of two hundred expenditures that were made, and I found

(02:51:45):
three that looked like they were reasonable.

Speaker 6 (02:51:48):
So he went on in and Dan, he said, I
command you long for doing that.

Speaker 4 (02:51:51):
What side are you on? What side are you on?

Speaker 3 (02:51:56):
I here's Elon's son. Do we have to see this?

Speaker 6 (02:51:58):
Oy y'all?

Speaker 3 (02:51:59):
I mean.

Speaker 4 (02:52:03):
That son, he's got a bunch of it.

Speaker 6 (02:52:05):
He's trying to raise that one up right.

Speaker 4 (02:52:07):
I mean, there's nothing wrong with well, we've all kids,
We've all I've seen adults do that.

Speaker 3 (02:52:17):
Kid, he's a kid, and.

Speaker 6 (02:52:20):
You know what, you're going to have that worst things happened.

Speaker 21 (02:52:27):
I did.

Speaker 16 (02:52:28):
So.

Speaker 3 (02:52:29):
Now here's the watching the Democratic Party.

Speaker 4 (02:52:32):
It's like even even people that are that are like
kind of in the celebrity world that are Democrats, that
will that will talk straight, they're saying the Democrats are
doing nothing to fix their problem.

Speaker 3 (02:52:42):
No, they just continue to act the exact way that
got them beating there.

Speaker 13 (02:52:45):
They got a question, what said, so here we go,
I'm going to be quick, because I want to send
a message to somebody.

Speaker 6 (02:53:01):
Oh boy, Democrat out of.

Speaker 13 (02:53:05):
Take your musty millions and mustard Moscow rights.

Speaker 4 (02:53:11):
To the moon. Yea, that made no sense because if
you don't, we're going to stand up.

Speaker 7 (02:53:19):
We're gonna speak out, We're gonna march, We're gonna do
anything we need to do to make sure that the
people of this country understand that the SEPP is for them.

Speaker 4 (02:53:30):
You get your mustard hands off of our money. Or
go on, Mouthtown, you you Mustard Moon.

Speaker 19 (02:53:36):
Move?

Speaker 4 (02:53:37):
Where are you going?

Speaker 3 (02:53:47):
Economy walks the stage? You know his buddies you go
with move? You didn't.

Speaker 4 (02:53:51):
You were saying moon and just went to move at
one point. This is this typical thing, Mouthtown, you you
Mustard Moon to mask out? Well, never lose again.

Speaker 3 (02:54:07):
Yeah, let me lift this much that.

Speaker 4 (02:54:09):
I know you're trying to sound like maybe Martin Luther
King junior, but he had so much more to say that.

Speaker 3 (02:54:14):
Yet that you're you're just just because you said it
that way.

Speaker 4 (02:54:18):
You still said, Moumo moves to mask out. In your
mask out, go to mask out, just grout.

Speaker 11 (02:54:30):
So he's the CPB, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

Speaker 6 (02:54:34):
Yeah, I don't think they're doing a good job, and
I think they should be cut just from that speech alone.

Speaker 4 (02:54:39):
Do you remember when we said, if you want to
see if somebody's addicted to something like a phone, try
to take it from them.

Speaker 3 (02:54:44):
If you want to see if they didn't have it.

Speaker 21 (02:54:45):
Good.

Speaker 3 (02:54:46):
Look how they're acting when we're finally exposing.

Speaker 23 (02:54:48):
What they're doing.

Speaker 1 (02:54:49):
This is the Rick Burgess show, the man who informed

(02:55:18):
giveing duds that they were not, in fact the ice cream.

Speaker 4 (02:55:23):
Weak. It's just incorrectly blaming, all right. So a couple
of things. We've lost one of the basketballs from Burgess Ball.

Speaker 3 (02:55:37):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (02:55:38):
That's not possible, but I can't find any. But we
can't find How can we How we lost one of
the basketballs? How's that even possible? I think Greg, when
he got beat by me, he threw it. That's Greg.
So I don't I shot that the redo. When I
went back, there was only three there. Then there were four,
like when the show started, you lost it.

Speaker 3 (02:55:57):
I didn't mind.

Speaker 4 (02:55:59):
Can you underneath the go and see if it's under that?

Speaker 6 (02:56:01):
I well looked everywhere. It's not behind the curtain.

Speaker 4 (02:56:04):
Where is it there?

Speaker 6 (02:56:05):
So I told you, are you serious?

Speaker 4 (02:56:07):
I looked there and apparently not very good.

Speaker 6 (02:56:10):
No, not very good. Ohhh okay that's why. Okay, all right,
you see all that goal buddy.

Speaker 4 (02:56:18):
Wow, I've been a little rough with that, speedy so
looking at we were finishing up the the government waste thing. Okay,
I don't know that we're going to get better than
the Moscow Move move guy. You know what I've noticed too?
Do you remember one of the things that we heard
from the all loving, all caring, all emotional follow your

(02:56:39):
heart left. What did we hear? Trump shouldn't be calling
people names?

Speaker 21 (02:56:44):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (02:56:44):
Yeah, he calls people names. And let me tell you,
when they when they get mad, they'll call the people names.
And second there's name calling going on a lot of
a lot of mean name things. So so there we
go to go to the moon. What's side?

Speaker 3 (02:57:03):
So we uh look, yeah, the that it was just
over there? We're speedy. Was that mic over there?

Speaker 10 (02:57:10):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (02:57:10):
You know it's been in here? Yeah? Oh has it?

Speaker 3 (02:57:13):
Okay, Well I don't know that.

Speaker 4 (02:57:15):
Yeah, what side are you? Yeah? What side?

Speaker 21 (02:57:18):
Now?

Speaker 4 (02:57:18):
That may be somebody that's like you know how people
run behind. We did have the production room mic on
for a little while. Okay, what what side are you.
But here's here's a little more if you want to
hear a little more of this again, name calling. Uh,
I love it. We're we're going to there's always these

(02:57:39):
weird claims, you know, like this, Uh, you know, we
love the phobic thing. If you disagree with anyone, they'll
immediately go into identity politics and claim that your phobic
are afraid of something just because you disagree with them.
When it comes to, you know, ideology, can you just yeah,
I think I can have a different ideology. It has

(02:58:02):
nothing to do with your skin color, your gender, you,
your choices whatever.

Speaker 3 (02:58:07):
We've lost our ability to debate.

Speaker 4 (02:58:09):
Maybe I have. Maybe I just disagree with you. Maybe
I just I'm not afraid. I'm not phobic.

Speaker 3 (02:58:14):
I just disagree. So here we go again.

Speaker 4 (02:58:17):
Here's Representative Watson Coleman, who's also upset about all this
accountability with what with what they do with our tax dollars.

Speaker 21 (02:58:25):
Here we go.

Speaker 25 (02:58:26):
Black excellence scares Donald Trump, it scares Steven Miller, and
it scares Elon Musk because you know what, deep down
they recognize their own mediocrity, and so they're doing everything
they can to entrench the racial wealth gap.

Speaker 3 (02:58:46):
About finding corruption in the government. What does that have
to do with anything?

Speaker 4 (02:58:51):
I think, Yeah, it's stay wasting money on them. You know,
y'all keep running, y'all, keep running the plays. It got
you beat, and you'll keep wondering why do we keep losing?
Because you're not adapting, You're not listening to the majority
of the American people.

Speaker 11 (02:59:05):
From what I can tell, I don't think Donald Trump
or Elon Musker Steven Miller care at all. If you
are a black person and you do well, Black excellence
doesn't scare me one bit.

Speaker 6 (02:59:15):
I want you to do well.

Speaker 11 (02:59:16):
I want you to have a happy family and a
happy life and a safe neighborhood, Like I want all
of that for you. So that that's just ridiculous. And
then also swap your words around to a different race
and see how racist you sound, Like, I don't understand
why you can say these things as a black person.
If you were to change it to a white person

(02:59:37):
saying that about black people, that's just inherently racist and
horrible to say.

Speaker 4 (02:59:42):
Check your privilege. Okay, you don't know what it's like
because of your own privilege.

Speaker 6 (02:59:49):
My goodness, are talking.

Speaker 4 (02:59:56):
I don't. I don't understand how finding that we sending
sociecurity payments to and fifty year old that's been dead forever.
How does that relate?

Speaker 3 (03:00:03):
You know what you're saying, I believe it or not.

Speaker 4 (03:00:05):
That's wasteful. It is hard to imagine. But I just
I will say that any political party that believes that
government should be smaller and that liberty should be maximum
and trying to set up an economy where everyone does well,
I would say that the opportunity for people of any

(03:00:26):
ethnicity to reach excellence is far better in the environment
that this administration is trying to create and has created
in the past than the one we just got out of.
So anyway, here we go. Here's an Army soldier that
is kidding around about all this.

Speaker 6 (03:00:43):
Yeah, it's funny.

Speaker 11 (03:00:44):
At first I thought he was really complaining about Elon
Musk cutting making cuts.

Speaker 6 (03:00:48):
Yep, but it's pretty good.

Speaker 4 (03:00:50):
Elon.

Speaker 28 (03:00:50):
You can't just call anything you want waste and just
get rid of it.

Speaker 21 (03:00:54):
You can't do that.

Speaker 28 (03:00:56):
Like in the Department of Defense, we do like lots
and lots of online training every year. That's totally not
a waste of time and teaches us great skills that
we use every day. And you should not use doge
to eliminate that you don't don't please don't do that.

Speaker 3 (03:01:16):
Please.

Speaker 6 (03:01:17):
No, he's saying, please do He doesn't want to do
all those online.

Speaker 3 (03:01:20):
Truck got it, it's rabbit, don't throw.

Speaker 6 (03:01:27):
Can I say something about smaller government? Real quick? We
have had.

Speaker 3 (03:01:32):
When you check your privilege, your privilege.

Speaker 11 (03:01:35):
I'm so happy this is even ever being mentioned and
brought up by anyone in government. Nobody in government actually
follows through and actually does this. But our central government
is a bankrupt, bloated monolith. He's destroying our future. It
is absolutely destroying our future. The amount of interest alone
that we're out is in the trillions.

Speaker 6 (03:01:58):
Insane. We're gonna go We're gonna go down like the
Titanic if we do not make a huge change. All right,
that's a voice smaller government.

Speaker 4 (03:02:06):
Please.

Speaker 11 (03:02:07):
Just the less that the federal government does, the better,
because they are terrible at doing things.

Speaker 4 (03:02:12):
So one of the things to question Peddler's point, I
don't understand what that program.

Speaker 3 (03:02:17):
Can we ask let's ask out of this question, what side?

Speaker 4 (03:02:22):
What side are you?

Speaker 6 (03:02:25):
The people? Tell me my.

Speaker 4 (03:02:28):
Scout, that's my thing, I say. But anyway, here's an example.
We don't have to play the video. So here's the
EPA administrator. Lee's elden. He just announced that his team
in this has discovered Now listen to this, America. Okay,
twenty billion dollars, twenty billion dollars that the Biden regime

(03:02:51):
was laundered. I mean they were laundering this money and
they were sending it to corrupt non government organizations. This
wasn't e government money being used for government organizations. It
was government money being sent secretly to different organizations that
in return, you take care of me, I take care

(03:03:12):
of you. Twenty billion dollars that they have found of
your money, America that is being laundered to shaky non
government organizations. Okay, I mean that's not that's a speculation,
that's not maybe so so that's something I think we
all can celebrate together.

Speaker 8 (03:03:32):
To Adler's point, and Eline even said the other night
standing there with his kid, that got on Greg's nerves.
He said, most of what we're finding is going international.
It's not even staying in the US, right. A lot
of the CRUP stuff is going to foreign entities that
that they can't explain. And for everybody to say, are
you launs doing Elon's not doing anything without Trump's approval.

(03:03:54):
I mean, they still run things through the Oval Office.
Everybody acts like he's just running around making.

Speaker 4 (03:03:58):
All these I'll say this, he might finding the corruption
and then going, Okay, mister president, this is what we're finding.
Let me tell you. He may be musty, and he
may have kids that have strange names. Okay, but let
me say this. Apparently before him, there was no one
smart enough to find all this out.

Speaker 6 (03:04:14):
Yeah, I know, and oh my goodness, it's it's it's
it's insane.

Speaker 4 (03:04:24):
They like to call you know, uh, you know, Elon's
a bureaucrat and he's blah blah blah blah blah.

Speaker 3 (03:04:29):
But they were perfectly confined with Fauci, you know, locking
us up for four years and.

Speaker 6 (03:04:35):
Lives.

Speaker 3 (03:04:37):
Get a mask on, it's not good enough, get a
mask off.

Speaker 6 (03:04:40):
Nobody voted for Fauci.

Speaker 11 (03:04:41):
No, And meanwhile, Elon and Trump, Trump and Elon, I
should say, ran on this platform and the majority of
Americans overwhelmingly voted for it, and nobody voted for Fauci.

Speaker 6 (03:04:51):
Great point speeding. Nobody voted for George Soros.

Speaker 11 (03:04:53):
No, nobody voted for any of these people that nobody
voted for Alexandro or Horcis would just opened the.

Speaker 6 (03:04:59):
Millions and oh yeah, but now we got to stop.

Speaker 11 (03:05:03):
But now we have to stop cutting government waste and
fraudy corruption because nobody voted for it.

Speaker 6 (03:05:08):
Nobody voted for Kamala either, and they just put her
in us the candidate.

Speaker 4 (03:05:12):
And we know, are you okay? Now, no, mek you
changs are red.

Speaker 3 (03:05:18):
They're actually red.

Speaker 1 (03:05:21):
This is the Rick Burgess Show. This is what Trump
had in mind when he started to make America greatly.
There the Rick Burgess Show.

Speaker 4 (03:05:42):
We're back, thanks for being with us. So from the
text line eight eight eight six two four uh four
eight sixty nine a great line. I don't understand why
the left is attacking the world's richest African American.

Speaker 3 (03:06:04):
That's a good one. That's a good one. Chip of
the hat to you.

Speaker 4 (03:06:07):
Texture So before we move on, just because the comedy
value that is here, because one thing we do want
to be though, is sensitive.

Speaker 3 (03:06:16):
Uh So, there this person mister Hedler, something like that.

Speaker 4 (03:06:22):
Heitlerler as awful close to Hitler, by the way, very
apparently this person was in charge of government oversight and
the Trump administration inherited this person.

Speaker 3 (03:06:34):
Yes, we was pretty Young, the Director of Government Affairs.

Speaker 6 (03:06:38):
Se Ngo called the Project on Government Oversight.

Speaker 3 (03:06:42):
See see if you find something odd about this, have
you picked up on it?

Speaker 4 (03:06:46):
Least is different from fraud.

Speaker 15 (03:06:47):
Fraud is different from abuse, and abuse is different from both.
When we talk about improper payments, there are a subset
of those other three categories, but that doesn't tell it
the whole picture either. Sometimes improper payments are a function
of bad record keeping. Sometimes there are a function of
outdated information technology systems. Sometimes they come about through human error,
and sometimes they come about through negligence. There are a

(03:07:09):
variety of reasons why improper payments happen. It just simply
is not the case that improper payments are only a
function of bad people doing bad things with that intent.

Speaker 6 (03:07:21):
Okay, well, there's a lot of it.

Speaker 21 (03:07:23):
And then.

Speaker 8 (03:07:26):
He's he was he's blinding, but look looks like he's
only slightly older than Elon's son that was in the
Oval office.

Speaker 4 (03:07:36):
And he apparently is uh, he saw microphone for him.
I think I think he's blind, Yes, I think so.

Speaker 3 (03:07:43):
Certainly.

Speaker 4 (03:07:43):
The former administration, though there is some comedy to the
fact that they would put somebody in an office called
government oversight they can't see. Yeah, I mean, I'm just sorry.
I mean because you know, I don't want to be insensitive.
But that is funny when you know Rick, it kind
of symbolizes what been going on. But I will spending

(03:08:04):
money out checking out take all this away. No matter
what you call it, it's still it's still the giant
government being inefficient, whether it is on purpose, which is fraud,
or whether it's just incompetence.

Speaker 10 (03:08:18):
We don't like it.

Speaker 3 (03:08:20):
We don't like clean it up. We don't like it. Yeah.

Speaker 11 (03:08:23):
And that mind shaft that they're keeping all these records
in that we found out about just the other day,
so people can't retire, so they're keeping people.

Speaker 6 (03:08:30):
Yes, that's an example of outdated technology. That's what we're doing.
That's where we're trying to fit from the text line.

Speaker 3 (03:08:37):
Apparently you can't see the corruption.

Speaker 4 (03:08:39):
No he cannot. All right, so tell me about this guy,
I haven't. I know that there's we've all talked about.
There's an overall feminization of society. This has been going
on for a while. And you know, men are horrible
and masculine men are the most horrible, uh, and are
the reason all things are bad. So Now we have

(03:09:01):
a guy who and there's something about the fact that
he's got on one of the old men tank top
T shirts we've been discussing. Yeah, I don't know how
that name is allowed to go on, but he said
he's noticed that the you know, Barbie's boyfriend Ken, which,
by the way, is he just refused to get married?
Were you not married? N He's saying that he's noticed

(03:09:25):
they're even feminizing Ken. Now he was always kind of feminine. Well,
didn't we have it one time? Wasn't there an option
to put him in a football uniform? Right? Am I
thinking about Big I'm thinking about Big Jim. By the way,
Big Jim would have taken Barbie from KeNH Yeah, no question,
Big Jim had it going on. Yeah, it's so how
long did beg Jim? We had a big gym? We

(03:09:47):
had a big Yeah, I had a big gym. You
can pu him in the football uniform. He had Camo
you did y'all remember Big Jim? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (03:09:54):
But it was another action figure like g I Joe. Yeah,
so here he is? Is he in the store?

Speaker 13 (03:10:00):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (03:10:01):
This guy makes I love that he went out with this.

Speaker 4 (03:10:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (03:10:04):
Sure, he makes a great point.

Speaker 21 (03:10:05):
Y'all.

Speaker 4 (03:10:06):
Look what they done did. Now, this got to stop.
This is not no Ken.

Speaker 26 (03:10:09):
I remember when I was coming up, Ken looked like
an executive white man who was straight, you know what
I'm saying. He drove a black Corvette, you know what
I mean. And he was taking Bobby as his wife.
Now I look at him. They got him all looking
all feminized and all this stuff.

Speaker 4 (03:10:21):
Hire. This is crazy. You know, you can't blame nothing
but the alphabet community for this. This is crazy looking.

Speaker 3 (03:10:25):
Why does he have ice cream and a snowboard like?

Speaker 19 (03:10:28):
You know?

Speaker 21 (03:10:29):
That is not man.

Speaker 26 (03:10:29):
Ain't nobody gonna be snowboarding with some ice cream. They
don't even go together. That's not even right, I understand.
Look at this man haircut, this is crazy.

Speaker 4 (03:10:35):
Look at it. He got a swoop. This is crazy.

Speaker 26 (03:10:37):
And then he got the haircut on the side and
the swoop like the girls used to do back of
the day when they went in to the club. This
is crazy, and it's he gonna go back messed up.

Speaker 11 (03:10:44):
This is this.

Speaker 4 (03:10:44):
That's not Ken, that's Kenesian And what is it They
have him on some sort of what does it He
got wrapped around like purse, chest pack, shoulders, he's.

Speaker 11 (03:11:00):
Got a fanny pack around it's like a purse. He
looks like he wants to speak to the manager. Good
yeah right his haircut.

Speaker 3 (03:11:08):
Right, Wow, No, no doubt. Joe would have waped the floor.
We can.

Speaker 4 (03:11:13):
Finding images of the former action figure Big Gym. It
would have been from the seventies, Jim Dollah Big Gym.
And and he was an action figure.

Speaker 3 (03:11:24):
He was played with and we did not play with
an action figure. It's a big difference.

Speaker 4 (03:11:29):
Yeah, had a football uniform, even had a concussion. Now
I'll tell you go get the current version of Ken.
It looks more like a doll. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (03:11:35):
Not a lot of clothes on Big Gym.

Speaker 4 (03:11:37):
No, Big Jim. He meant business. He knew, hey he
was Jack. You could make his arm flips and he
knew he.

Speaker 6 (03:11:41):
Was just karate chopping action.

Speaker 3 (03:11:43):
It was kind of it was kind of yeah, oh
there's a big job. Yeah he's got remember, yeah, great
Big Jim.

Speaker 4 (03:11:50):
He didn't play no games and yeah, football form if
I remember ward number twenty two, if I remember, try
to find it. Yeah, in the foot ball so you
sit down and played with well, I would you know,
would crash him together.

Speaker 3 (03:12:04):
And he had muscles and he was masculine.

Speaker 4 (03:12:06):
Okay, number nine, Okay, I don't remember. I couldn't remember.
For some reason, I would have put him in twenty two.
I think because I think he could toe the mail.
Remember a blue football? Different one I remember in.

Speaker 3 (03:12:18):
The blue their gym.

Speaker 6 (03:12:20):
Here, here's blue nine.

Speaker 4 (03:12:21):
There you go again.

Speaker 3 (03:12:22):
I remember the blue. But it's that's the one. I
remember that.

Speaker 6 (03:12:25):
Sure, that's a good looking doll.

Speaker 4 (03:12:26):
Now I'll tell you one thing. You tell me if
you think in today's society, okay, if you think in
today's society, they would ever allow you to put.

Speaker 3 (03:12:33):
Any toy out that has anybody in a football uniform.

Speaker 4 (03:12:37):
They wouldn't do it.

Speaker 6 (03:12:38):
You could, They wouldn't try.

Speaker 3 (03:12:39):
No, No, would y'all play house with it? We didn't
play house what you have?

Speaker 4 (03:12:43):
We would so g I Joe?

Speaker 3 (03:12:45):
You think Joe's are from the same deal.

Speaker 4 (03:12:48):
He's an adventure guys, Get of it. We've been blowing
him up with fireworks. He would he would hunt, he
would playfish. You think that's you know, that's you're the
you're the main brother toy store. Look over here looking
in boxing looking him box, How nice big gym? Yeah,
looks like he's on the Olympic team. I would say
that this is not allowed now because this is actually

(03:13:10):
a toy that kids can play with that's actually masculine.
That's right.

Speaker 3 (03:13:14):
I can't have that anymore it, Oh woodsman, you sure?

Speaker 5 (03:13:18):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (03:13:18):
He would put he'd put his stuff on it for
the outdoor. Look, he's got a rifle. You think you
think you could have an action figure with a riffle?
Times were different. Toy ricks a soccer player that hurts
have it? Looks over there?

Speaker 19 (03:13:33):
What that?

Speaker 4 (03:13:33):
That's an add on?

Speaker 3 (03:13:34):
Jim didn't play soccer.

Speaker 4 (03:13:35):
Did y'all have a Big jack I don't even know
what that is.

Speaker 11 (03:13:39):
I'm serious about Action Jackson, Big Josh and Doctor Steele
was the bad guy.

Speaker 4 (03:13:46):
About Action Jackson. Yeah, we did have an Action Jackson.
Look we didn have that one. And would y'all fight
over Jim. Let me tell you, in those days, there
was a day when you played with things like this.
You fought all your friends. They fought you, and I
just i'm I'm I honestly think we raised a better
generation of people.

Speaker 6 (03:14:07):
Did they have an Action Jackson brother? And then an
action Action Jackson was Honkey Rick.

Speaker 4 (03:14:11):
You also had a big gym Jeep and hero remember
the jeep and would capture animals.

Speaker 6 (03:14:18):
I had a stretch arms dong that was.

Speaker 4 (03:14:21):
That was big stretch.

Speaker 3 (03:14:23):

Speaker 6 (03:14:26):
