It looks like I had two g's in it, ring Gold.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
Oh yeah, two g's Georgia, Georgia, Alabama.

Speaker 1 (02:51):
At Georgia said it borders Chattanooga.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
Okay, there you go.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Yeah, Yeah, that's the border of Tennessee and Georgia. Okay,
that's a beautiful part of the country, especially this time.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
He yeah, And Tanner's right there on the Tennessee.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
All right, there's one crab orchard Tennessee. Love. I love
in these little places up on text Nation.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Speaking of Text Nation crab Orchard, Tennessee.

Speaker 3 (03:15):
Right, uh, right in between Nashville and Knoxville.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Yeah, all right. So speaking of text Nation, congratulation to
Jonathan Mostellar m O s T E l L E
r Uh. He was our one hundred dollars winner on
the text option yesterday. Come on, uh, and of course
on one hundred and fifty dollars you put yeah, yeah,

(03:41):
shortage of Yeah, one hundred and fifty dollars won by
Richard Hammonds yesterday. He had a shot. Today we have
raised it because Richard took the one fifty. We've talked
to big time rush and now if we when we
play three questions, you'll go from a hund fifty dollars
question to a three hundred dollars question to a five

(04:02):
hundred ninety nine dollars question. Yeah, we didn't go six
hundred because you get taxed, so five ninety nine.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
Oh, that is fantastic.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
We call that the five ninety nine question. But how
about this. Richard said, I'll take the guaranteed money and
I'll walk yes. And we went through the questions he'd
passed on and he said he didn't know the answer,
so he did the right thing.

Speaker 4 (04:20):
He did.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
They met Rankov. So today the vox seats will get
a chance at some of the money. It will not
be a burgess ball battle. It's a different contest. So
we'll have one person out of the vox seats we'll
get a shot. It's possible that the mass audience will
have a shot at three questions again today it's according
to how that goes. Every day has a budget. But

(04:41):
I will say that you need to be listening because
but here, probably sooner than later, I'm going to give
you the text word of the day now. I got
to talk to you a little bit out there. Okay.
It's a different word every day. So yesterday was cash
that you can't don't don't take that again because that's
no good. Today it'll be a different word. I'll give

(05:04):
it to you here sometime on the show. You got
to be paying attention. Some of y'all are texting the
new phone line. You got to stop now. We clearly
stated yesterday that text Nation. Your number hasn't changed. The
text number is the same as it's been for an
entire year, okay, and that is eight eight eight six
Big Vox or eight eight eight six two four four

(05:27):
eight six' nine text number remains the. Same the only
number that has changed is the calling number for the
rest of the, year and that's two five, five three
zero one. Thousand that's for unscreen phone calls or for
us to do The christmas cash countdown using the. Phones
so if we use the phones for The christmas cash,

(05:47):
countdown that's your, number and unscreened phone, calls that's your.
Number your text number hasn't. Changed we got to report
yesterday we had thousands of people, texting which was, great
but we had another WHAT i don't know how, many
but according according to To, bread he didn't like. It,
no he was the. It it turned. OUT i, said,
hey that's the. COMPANY i, guy he didn't like.

Speaker 5 (06:06):
It he, said why they're texting the new call in.
Number so, yeah just keep it.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
Simple and that's disappointing BECAUSE i thought we were very
clear on. That. Yeah, yeah and shows me once again
y'all get distracted out. There you need to hear every single, word,
Okay so so turn it up and. Focus so new
text word. Today and has the text number, changed? Guys, No,
no same numbers always been all. Year has the phone

(06:33):
call number, Changed it has because of the volume it's.
Fine text numbers, Fine, yeah same text number has always,
been so you'll get a new word to. Text somebody
win one hundred dollars today for, sure and then somebody
might win as much as five hundred ninety nine dollars,
Today so we'll see what. Happens so we do have
a lot to unpack out side of, that even THOUGH

(06:55):
i know a lot of you. Focused you are focused
on this, terday between us starting The christmas cash countdown
and the college football playoff being, released that's ALL i
can get everybody talk. About, YEAH i mean we can
talk about other, things that's. True, yeah like you know
how we're all excited about The christmas. Season, yeah and
uh and the stress that comes with that so. Much you,

(07:22):
know it's one you Know i'm gonna say, something AND
i know it's going to come across the wrong way
BECAUSE i will say, this, boy deep, down everybody in,
here we picked joy over over. It we we we
choose to be, joyful except For, greg but we we we,
choose we, choose, Right But i'm talking about overall's no. Thanksgiving.

(07:43):
Overall we like having a good, time, okay of, course
and we don't like taking things are supposed to be
fun and being the people think it's not. Fun, Okay
but but but there is this weird thing in the human. Psyche,
okay because you've seen it the whole run from Thanks
giving through The New. Year it can bring a lot of,
stress it can bring it AND i try not to

(08:06):
get involved in, that but some of it you, can
you can't. Avoid and then you AND i know this
sounds odd and for some of, you this is not your.
Hobby you don't participate in, this so you couldn't care
less about. It and that's deer. Hunting, yeah right, now deer.
HUNTING i, mean it's all we can think, about, Okay

(08:28):
and and it's weird BECAUSE i enjoy it so, much
but there's a certain burden that comes with. It. MAN i,
Mean i'm sitting there yesterday and she's, like are you
looking at game camera pictures? AGAIN i, said, Baby i'm
trying to figure out the rut and she, goes, oh,
good let's let's talk about that. Again AND i, said,

(08:49):
well you, Know i've been trying to see if it's.
STARTING i, MEAN i, said they're pushing Those, baby looked
at this picture and she's, Like i'm.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
Good, oh she was kidding when she's yeah, heard.

Speaker 5 (09:00):
And so, uh it's like the responsibilities of life and
everything that's involved with that. Burden you, know that's that
should be your main. Focus but over, here deer hunting's
got your left arm and it's just pulling you to the,
side and you're. Trying you're trying desperately to stay, focused
but you just it's. Tough sometimes you get out of.
Balance all, Right, Now i've got to do this.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
Show i've got a business meeting right after the, show pretty,
Important and now ALL i can think about is how
AM i gonna pick up the meat from the Deer
i've already killed and get out there and get in
the woods to kill another? One, Right and you're gonna
miss something the meeting important because you're gonna be thinking about,
yeah not paying. Attention, Rick are you looking at deer
pictures during the? Meeting? Yeah by the, way if that,
bothers you're not a good time to meet with. Me

(09:41):
oh check this one. Out is that the same?

Speaker 3 (09:44):
Place are you using all kinds of hunting? Analogies seeing?
Business you got to make sure that you're.

Speaker 1 (09:51):
Downwind, yeah what if YOU i was sitting in the
conference room WHEN i FIRST i wanted to see WHERE
i wanted to see. It, YEAH i checked through which
way the? Winds lord And god, says while you sitting down,
THERE i want TO i want to win in my,
face SO i want to. You, hey double. Whammy guess
who the business meeting is with? Today grip. Feed oh

(10:15):
want to see the. Picture that's how we're gonna do. Everything,
yeah good, night we're Gon we're gonna talk a little
deer Feed little ricks mixed, today which is now. Available
but we also gonna talk about another product we about
to talk. About we're gonna be coming out pretty.

Speaker 5 (10:29):
Soon if if you can get to. That if all the,
pictures we should just meet them really. Tonight why, not
you know?

Speaker 1 (10:36):
What that's what we should.

Speaker 5 (10:38):
Boom so probably a little further for.

Speaker 1 (10:41):
Them BUT i Told sherry you should have seen her.
FACE i, SAID i know there's a lot going. ON
i know holidays are. STRESSFUL i, said you are to be.
ME i got to figure out how to deer hunt, you, Right,
YEAH i said about, Me, well you can't MISS i,
mean there's a there's a period of time where you
got to be. There there's no, way just so much

(11:02):
we'll be right.

Speaker 4 (11:03):
Back this is The Rick Burgess.

Speaker 1 (11:07):
Show i'm gonna tell the people the store to start
calling the speedy. Section so we've got some items in
the store and one of them is like works right
now because it's a sweatshirt in the colder times of the.
Year and you, know products, stay some will be you know,

(11:30):
evergreens some come and. Go you, know one of the
things when you're dealing with merchandise that we've learned over the,
years you, know we pull the curtain back on so
many things is you know your inventory. Control you got
to learn your inventory because you're you're. Unsold inventory will kill.
You so anytime we're getting ready to say we're going
to discontinue this and then do some new items right,

(11:50):
now that that the goods the Car heart sweatshirt fifty
percent off right? Now?

Speaker 4 (11:58):
What?

Speaker 1 (11:59):
Yeah and then you see some other shirts and items
that are fifty percent off and some. Hats so there's
a fifty percent off section and we call this the speedy. Section,
yeah and we move that right to a prominent place
on the. Store so the these are items that we're
going to discontinue and we're selling out the rest of the.
Inventory they did, fine but you, know we got new

(12:21):
stuff coming next, year and we've got some new stuff
that's out for A christmas. Season so go shop the
store right. Now there's some fifty percent off items you
can really get a deal. On all, Right so other
things to. Discuss SO i was talking about, this and
this is going to be to. Me it's gonna make
the heart just flutter just a little bit BECAUSE i
know how we all. Feel, OKAY i, understand and you

(12:45):
we're doing. It we're all doing. It matter of. Fact
it's dominating the marketplace right. Now and that's e. Commerce
you order, stuff it ships to your. Home there you,
go okay, now and it's. Convenient AND i got no
problem with. It there's our, store our, stores E commerce
got no problem with. IT a lot of our sponsors

(13:06):
or e commerce just talked about. ONE i love e,
commerce but here at The christmas, season there's just something,
about AS i mentioned last, segment a little bit going
to an old school retail store and just going. IN i,
mean they've got the. Decorations do you remember how that?
Felt and, YEAH i did something YESTERDAY i have not

(13:27):
done in years years years, Now sweet little Missus burgess
loves one particular, store and we get a lot of stuff.
THERE i don't go there a lot Unless i'm with,
her BECAUSE i try to avoid shopping at all costs
like most. Men But i've never, gone AND i. DON'T

(13:48):
i can't remember the last TIME i went in the
store and then went out the back of it and
entered into a mall because it's connected to a. Mall
USUALLY i JUST i just go hit it there on
the outside of the. Mall it didn't get, out, Yeah
and And cherry was looking for some, item and she was,
LIKE i, SAY i, say we journey into the, mall
and And i'm, LIKE i. DON'T i don't know what

(14:10):
the mall and and and but BUT i find, myself
like you remember down there where we love to. Hunt
WHEN i thought a restaurant that we all needed wasn't
gonna make, it and AND i got on the air and, said,
Look i'm pulling for. This y'all got to help us
save this. RESTAURANT i can't lose. It and and and
we saved, it you. Know and so a shout out
to all the all the ladies down At Bones, barbecue so,

(14:32):
uh you, know our our our one of our favorite
eating places when we go hunting and where we're down
at the. Farm SO i found myself kind of pulling
for the, mall LIKE i, LIKE i wanted the mall
to be, okay yeah You.

Speaker 5 (14:48):
Now it's sad that there's a generation that doesn't know About,
hey we we used to go to the mall and
walk around and, yeah and go to stores and.

Speaker 1 (14:58):
How about THIS i sit in the massage chair for
AND i GUESS i can go ahead and say. This
they don't advertise with, us SO i don't get paid
for this or. Whatever but we've talked about, this and
it WAS i actually found out about this place through
one of my daughter in, Laws von. Mar. Oh, Yeah
i'll go there and get some. Clothes it's an old
fashioned great for men's, clothing but they got all kinds

(15:20):
of there's it's an old fashioned department. Store and they
even have a person playing the piano in the middle of.
It and of course she was Playing christmas songs yesterday
and they've got all Their christmas decorations up And i'm
in a department. Store it kind of took me back
to my. Childhood you, know piano right, now like live oh,
yes oh, yeah, yeah, yes it's fantastic.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
In the year twenty twenty.

Speaker 1 (15:40):
Five it's wonderful the bottom of the. Escalator, yes it's
a wonderful. Atmosphere it's. Incredible and AGAIN i DON'T i
don't have any you, know kickback for them or anything like. That,
sure BUT i JUST i just enjoyed.

Speaker 2 (15:53):
It.

Speaker 1 (15:54):
Really just think of it as a department store. Experience, Yeah,
greg it was LIKE i felt like there was a
little bit of you, know because you AND i didn't
have always a positive experience going to the department. Store
my mom like we got inside the close rack and
scared women and got spanked inside the store in those.
Days in those, days your mama would spank you in
a department store and no one would get, up you know.

(16:17):
What people would, say look at that great.

Speaker 2 (16:18):
Mom CAN i say a hilarious.

Speaker 3 (16:20):
Quote greg told me the other day that your mom
used to, say and it's about that public kind of.
Punishment if you embarrass, Me i'm gonna embarrass.

Speaker 1 (16:28):
Youtely that was her. Motto you, Remember Mickey Dan, Yeah
Mickey dean told the story one time about his mam
if she had a similar. Statement Our obama's was that
if you're gonna embarrass, Me i'm gonna embarrass. You Mickey
deane's mama told him when he said the same. Thing
you picked the PLACE i didn't. Pick, yeah, mama why'd

(16:50):
you whip me in front? Everybody you chose the place
you decided to act up in this? PLACE i MEAN
i WOULD i would have referred to spank you somewhere,
else but you picked, here and uh and so uh,
yeah ours was if you're gonna embarrass, Me i'm gonna embarrass.
You but every mama in those days would look to
our mama and, say that's a good mama right. There you.

(17:11):
Know now it's the. Opposite if your kids are a
bunch of hellions and or do whatever they want and
disrespect you and save things back to, you that's supposed
to be good. Parenting and people who discipline their kids
don't tolerate, it make them be, respectful and actually punish.
Them those are bad, parents you. Know and that's that's
right out of. Scripture we've just taken what the right
and wrong it, is flipped. It, yeah, Okay, so and

(17:33):
of course we've always had the great statement for. Years
no one ever has to tell you that they don't
spank their. Kids we already.

Speaker 4 (17:39):
Know oh, yeah, uh.

Speaker 1 (17:41):
We were around your. Kids we were around your kids.
Today we got, it you, know you didn't have tell.
Us SO i found myself the nostalgia of going into
a department store At. Christmas it felt, GREAT i bet it,
did you, know till we kept. Staying but BUT i,
mean but, now and THEN i got care of a
way And sherry AND i ventured out into the. Mall

(18:01):
we were mall. Walkers oh, yeah and uh and the
mall is kind of A i know you speedy BECAUSE
i know how your mind, works you the same. Way
first of, ALL i was amazed at the people that
were still making. It, people not new. PEOPLE i do.
THAT i go BECAUSE i know that rent's gotta be,
right not new people like. People oh, wow y'all still. Here,
yeah y'all were here WHEN i was coming in here

(18:23):
and my kids were young and they're all grown and
y'all gone through the e commerce world and you're still.
Here how you making? It you? Know SO i wondered about.
That how Can sinnabon still be doing so? Well but
they're still that's the Same cinnabon has been there. Forever
they're still.

Speaker 3 (18:39):
Smoking, yes it smells so. GOOD i think people must
have a fan like behind the. Oven it just blasts
that out into the end of the.

Speaker 2 (18:47):
MALL i tell, you, someone come.

Speaker 1 (18:48):
On who else says there's build a? Bear build a?
Bear are still?

Speaker 4 (18:52):
There?

Speaker 1 (18:53):
Sound look at? You you're doing it. NOW i will say,
this And i've heard others complain about. This we got
to cut down the third world marketplace feel of The kiosk. People,
yeah they're they're a little like you're in the street. Market,
yeah they're a little, aggressive and it feels street. Market

(19:14):
it kind of takes away the prestige of the of
the beautiful malls for you to be barking at me
to buy some item, that well you AND i both
know is not worth eleven. Dollars, yeah, OKAY i want
to give you a sample for. Free YEAH i. WON'T
i don't want. IT i don't want. THAT i didn't
expect to be in my local. Mall and you refer
to my wife as pretty, lady pretty. Lady, yeah, okay

(19:35):
that's usually when we're traveling around the. World, okay, hey pretty,
lady come over you you're so. Beautiful come here this
you love, this pretty, Lady pretty. Lady i'm like If
i'm not, Mistaken i'm In. Birmingham what a Way i'm
at the? Mall what is?

Speaker 4 (19:48):
This?

Speaker 1 (19:48):
Yeah the Win? Market? Yeah so, yeah what DID i get?

Speaker 4 (19:55):
In wu?

Speaker 1 (19:55):
Wa? Uh BUT i, GUYS i gotta tell you, Listen i'm. Pulling,
Hey i'm pulling for. Retail i'm.

Speaker 2 (20:04):
Pulling i'm.

Speaker 1 (20:04):
Pulling i'm pulling for the, malls And i'm pulling for department.
Stores y'all have a place in society that's actually quite.
Nice remember we were kids at our local. Mall we
Had Brits, yes department, store the only ONE i ever, saw.
Yep AND J. C penny obviously still there by the, Way,
yep J. C penn still hanging in, there one of
the few J. C. Pennies, yeah of course some coming around.

(20:24):
HERE i tell you what killed me IS i used
to go to Stein, mart you, Remember, Yeah shut all
the Stein, marks The shu.

Speaker 2 (20:33):
Shut he just.

Speaker 1 (20:35):
Didn't open his. Mouth when that's the the, worst the
least effort for the. Worst. Shut we're kind of broke
my heart a little.

Speaker 5 (20:43):
Bit was when Sears shut grew up going to. Parents oh, yeah,
yes you can go in there and buy a lot
more or, shirt didn't matter.

Speaker 1 (20:54):
YEAH i can't tell you how many ken. More, Yes
and i'd have to tell the one little, like, uh
what do you some kind of there's some kind of
place Like toys of the. Whatever don't put all the
scary stuff into windan we got all the weird. Stuff,
YEAH i wouldn't kb. TOYS i don't know what it.
Was a weird toy. Place his buckle still? There, well ste, upstairs.

(21:18):
Speedy once you start dressing like somebody's, dad you put
buckle out of.

Speaker 5 (21:22):
Business now my son's wear those BELTS.

Speaker 1 (21:26):
I. Did i'm pulling for.

Speaker 4 (21:27):
You this is The Rick Burgess.

Speaker 1 (21:30):
SHOW i don't have to tell you that college is
a major. INVESTMENT i don't have to tell you, that
uh sure is. Important. Uh we even talked about this
on the Podcast Strange encounters this. Week pretty important where
you're gonna send your kid if they're going to, college

(21:52):
because they're going to go to a place that's gonna
attempt to indoctrinate them into. Something. Uh and you're, saying don't, worry,
Birch i'm sending my kid to A christian. College, hell
you better check it. Out i'm telling you you may
be and you may get lured into a false sense
of security. There, well good news IS i have a
Free Christian college guide for. You christiancollegeguide Dot com list

(22:16):

truly special is that it also shows you the school's faith,
commitments it's campus, policies it's spiritual, life all the information
that will help you find a college that you can trust,

OKAY i mean you're, thinking, Okay i'm going some next,
Year i'm going, somewhere Or i'm going somewhere right. Now,

(22:59):
okay and you see this headline c D. C i
know we all really trust. Them now they have it,
damaged their their their credibility at. All during the, pandemic
CE dc Warns americans traveling to four countries there is
an outbreak of an untreatable mosquito disease, untreatable. Untreatable they've

(23:25):
issued travel advisory For americans planning. Trips if you're going
to these tropical countries amid outbreaks of an untreatable mosquito born.
Disease there's no treatment for. IT i can't even pronounce.
It it's it's a very long work.

Speaker 4 (23:44):
It.

Speaker 1 (23:45):
Is it's vaccine. Preventable oh. Uh and vaccine is recommended
for travels in the affected. Areas by the, way if
there's a vaccine, available then it's not. UNTREATABLE i just
liked the make that you can avoid. IT i guess they're,
saying once you've been, diagnosed, RIGHT i got, RIGHT i got.

(24:05):
Youaye of course that sounds like it's maybe avoidable is
the Word i'm. Using but, anyway so it does sound
like that this is another good way to move a
lot of. Vaccines but, here you know, What but then
you start, thinking oh, no oh. No of course some
people like to go in the winter to a tropical.
Place it is very. Inviting by the, WAY i laughed

(24:25):

five degree. Angle that's just he's just he is heading one,
way he always heading the.

Speaker 1 (37:38):
Next have you ever seen him sit? Still? Ever not often,
now like just sitting. There he's always doing something he
Is AND.

Speaker 2 (37:46):
I learned that a lot from. Him actually IT'S i
learned a lot from that.

Speaker 1 (37:49):
Man so you got home and then what the celebration,
continued picked up.

Speaker 3 (37:54):
The, kids picked, up both, kids and but they both
forgot that it was my. Birthday they're just five and,
Two so it's. Fine they didn't really treat me any.
Different it didn't act any. Better Bath time was still a.
Struggle bedtime was still a. Struggle it's like they didn't,
like they didn't.

OVER i was, like, WELL i Guess i'll just have
another lifetime UNTIL i get a. Present having A december.
Birthday one of my best friends actually born On Christmas.
DAY a lot of pressure, There sorry about, that but.

Speaker 1 (38:35):
A lot of pressure. There it Was, haesius actually A.
Manuel but, uh let's see what.

Speaker 3 (38:42):
Else, OH i cooked, this cooked the steak AND i
brought some extra if you guys want. Some it is rare,
speedy so you're gonna have to stay away from.

Speaker 1 (38:51):
Rare straight?

Speaker 2 (38:52):
Up straight?

Speaker 4 (38:52):
Up it.

Speaker 3 (38:52):
Is actually WHAT i did was the reverse, serial SO
i put it in the oven. First, yeah, yeah so
you see. It sometimes people would see it first and
then finish it in the, oven but Recently i've been
doing it in the oven first and then you sear, it.

Speaker 2 (39:08):
And then you sear it after, that so you see
it afterwards and it's very very.

Speaker 3 (39:14):
Good that was, hot but you can you can it
was toasty, toasty but then that way you can get
the temperature perfect and then all you're you're trying to
do is just get some color on the. Outside much
less smoke in the house BECAUSE i used to do
pan cast iron pan seared steaks a, lot and it
was just it Was and LIKE i, said, Y'ALL i

(39:35):
bought the gigantic tenderloin the full tilein so last, night
this was honestly my very first time to do a
that's an. INVESTMENT i was, like you know, What i'm
forty and So i'm trimming at getting getting all the
silver skin off of. There and it was not the
best carving Because i've watched tons of like even like
brisket trimmings and things like.

Speaker 2 (39:56):
That you have a, LOT i really. HAVE i was, like,
WOW i am terrible at. THIS i feel Like i'm
wasting something or.

Speaker 3 (40:03):
Whatever BUT i got it all, done put it in
about like four kind of even sized, pieces three hundred
and fifty degrees for like forty five. Minutes check the
temperature on the biggest piece and it was at like one.
Nineteen So i'm, like all, right that's. Rare and then
for the, kids those others are a little more you,
know speedy medium well and For speedy got it.

Speaker 1 (40:22):
Out speedy gets his cooked the way he likes it
and also the same way everybody's mom likes.

Speaker 3 (40:27):

up And i've got extra for you guys if you
guys want, them and it is very.

Speaker 4 (40:33):
GOOD i will try.

Speaker 1 (40:34):
That that's a lot of. Effort and you had to
cook for your birthday.

Speaker 3 (40:38):
Though it was fun, though it was like it was
a fun thing and it Was aaron was, like do
whatever you, want like that sounds. Great So i'm just
hanging out in the, kitchen you know, whatever listen to
podcasts cutting carbon.

Speaker 1 (40:49):
Meat it was.

Speaker 3 (40:50):

And i'm that comes from sitting a.

Speaker 2 (40:57):
Factory, okay, yeah.

Speaker 1 (41:00):
Yeah it's not. Homemade it came from the fact it
came from the.

Speaker 3 (41:04):

weirdly oddly. EMOTIONAL i was just overwhelmed with gratitude And

day we've had so. Far so let's, uh let's take
a look at The christmas cash. Countdown, Yesterday Richard hammonds
won a hundred and fifty dollars on three. Questions he
took the first answer was, Correct he kept the. Money

(01:01:05):
did not try for three hundred or five ninety. Nine
our text winner, Yesterday Jonathan. Mosteller today we Had Jake
davis won one hundred and fifty dollars on three. Questions
he got the first one, right kept the. Money D.
D Dempsey Burgess Ball. Challenge she had to shoot one
hundred and fifty dollars. Shot she made, it she took the,

(01:01:26):
money and we just drew out of the text Option Kelly, Stone, So, kelly.
Congratulations kelly just won one hundred dollars just by paying
attention and texting the word when we gave it on
the program, today and she is. Excited so tomorrow there'll
be a new word for you to, text and there'll
be more opportunities to win some of The christmas. Cash

(01:01:50):
so be sure you're with us. Tomorrow all, RIGHT a
couple of. Things adler has this video that's available right
now for. McDonald's, uh and it's some sort of A i,
ad and you're, saying are we creeped out by? It
do we think it's? Good? Uh set this up, First,
adam what's going on?

Speaker 3 (01:02:10):
Here, Yeah i'm afraid. Guys this is the future of.
Advertising so McDonald's just dropped this NEW ai. Ad some
people say it's, beautiful some people say it's. Soulless some
some people the term IS ai. SLOP i don't know
why where did that come?

Speaker 2 (01:02:27):
FROM i don't know why that's what it's.

Speaker 3 (01:02:28):
Called but that's that's what it's that's what if It's
if it's BAD, ai people call IT i don't know,
why but they call IT ai slop and and people are, like.

Speaker 2 (01:02:37):
This is taking this is taking jobs, away this is.

Speaker 3 (01:02:40):
Whatever James, cameron the Director Avatar, titanic all, that he
is so ANTI. Ai he's, like, no you're gonna see
people in our movies made by.

Speaker 2 (01:02:51):
People these are this is just uh Like, avata, yeah
The avatar.

Speaker 3 (01:02:58):
Thing but does he His his justification is, no that's
people acting it out and then that's people then adding
those traffics that we don't USE. Ai well McDonald's has
AND i think we're going to see a lot more
ads doing that as. Well and what you're seeing here
is all. Fake there's No Teddy bear is not, Real
santa is not. Real none of this is. Real this

(01:03:20):
is all GENERATED i can tell BY.

Speaker 1 (01:03:22):
Ai Can, yeah you get the idea on this song.

Speaker 3 (01:03:28):
That so there you, go that that, fire those, cookies
all of this this is all generated BY so and
that creeps me. Out when it's like when it's trying
to convey human emotion like smiling and laughter and things like,
that that's when it's the creepiest to, me he's.

Speaker 2 (01:03:44):
Creepy he's. Creepy those people are.

Speaker 3 (01:03:46):
Creepy they're not looking at each other in the, eye
BECAUSE ai still struggles with that for some.

Speaker 2 (01:03:50):
Reason SO i just wanted to see what y'all thought.

Speaker 1 (01:03:54):
About, well, no it. DOES i don't have a problem
with some of you. Know it's it's just like everything.
ELSE i, mean when you can use a the you,
know the gronk or what's the other, one CHAT gpt
to help you take something you created and organize, IT
i think that's a big step forward. TECHNOLOGICALLY i love

(01:04:15):
being able to get information, quickly and you, know if
it can be, reliable all that's. Fine but when you
start going too, far you, know because there's a certain,
thing AND i know it's it's not all that, popular
but because the thought is. Changing but human beings are uniquely,
made we believe by a, creator and as you just,

(01:04:37):
mentioned there's a spirit and a soul that human beings
have been given. THAT i do not think THE ai
world is going to be able to. DUPLICATE i think
it has a, place but some of, it like this
is too, Weird like you, know people worried about, music
these weird. ARTISTS i think THAT ai will give jingle

(01:04:59):
people a lot of tr, because LIKE i told you
the other, day we're able to produce jingles in seconds
that are that are plenty good for jingles and theme
music and things like. That but IF i wanted to
sit down and hear a real song from a songwriter
and a singer that are, human it's always going to

(01:05:19):
have a connection THAT ai can never. Do and, absolutely
and there's a reason for that because of we believe
human beings were created and life was breathed into us
from a creator AND ai cannot go and grab. That
AND i think you saw it right. There we were watching,
this we were really kind of okay until human beings

(01:05:39):
started getting involved and then it mays feel. Weird AND
i think that'll always be the. Case and it's just
but but the market will dictate it because if we
if we go whatever doesn't bother, us then they'll keep doing.
