(01:14):

We got a picture last night, a shocker, an actual
text from Greg that alone is a shocker and.
Speaker 2 (01:58):
Almost as lazy again the phone back, because there's.
Speaker 1 (02:01):
No way that was no way, that was nothing nice
about that. Hey Greg, good hey, good job to on
your social media man. Uh so, uh so anyway, the
uh can I can? I ask honestly though, if you're
one of Greg's minions, does it ruin it if he
becomes like a guy who posts yeah, problem, that's not
really what you want from Greg, is it? I mean,
(02:21):
that's that's thank you saying that for years. Let me
tell you years. Can I just say this on behalf
of the whole world, thank you for your disposition. It's
it's so joyful and and and you seem so eager
and encourage to come up with sure you do beautiful,
You're right, that you're right. It needs to be something,
(02:43):
you know what I mean? Like I said, I try
to concentrate. It's not that exciting. I don't have a
whole lot, nor is mine, but a simple hey, looking
forward to a new show today, You know something like that.
That's kind of where I land things. Is that. I
think people need to know that, and every now and then,
I'll you know, if I if I end up in
a turtle deck, I'll put that on there. People love
that kind of stuff.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
I'm going to ask you to pull back and observe
some energy, because you're losing energy right now because you're
not making any impact on.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
It right almost doing move it. Will you do me
a favor reaching Gregg's pocket and give that energy back
to me. I just gave him. You need to stop.
Thank you, Greg. Think you said that ten years Yeah,
but anyway, great watch this watch face right here. So
you could have posted yesterday, uh hey, Lisa's guy. But
made some breakfast for the guys and before taking it
(03:28):
in tomorrow they gonna be fired up. Really No, if
you did that, I think, what's going on? My gosh,
I would have said that, I don't know who has
Greg's phone me? We need we need to report it. Yeah,
but I do did bring some sausage. Squad well that's
what I was gonna say. I saw that and it
was almost too good to be true. Yeah, thet get
(03:50):
them out? Yeah, did you really? You know we have
we don't have a lot. We don't have it. We
don't we're not We're not set up like we should.
You know, we need to. We need to have the
same attitude here that we have at camp house, where
we have everything we can possibly need. Oh yeah, so yeah,
so we got to. So Lisa has swergan on, Lisa
has sent breakfast, So Terry has made us breakfast. Now
(04:11):
Lisa has made us breakfast. This is good. I'm going
to be This gives me a little lot of leverage here,
so I don't want to just pile in and start
eating now. But I'm kind of hungry. I am too.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
What is it about the fact we know it's in
it here?
Speaker 1 (04:25):
It makes you more? Know? Can I tell you this?
Let me say, I was the picture last night you
sent made me hungry. I got here today fully convinced
you have gone off and left it, which is you know,
very possible. Then I went not hungry because I didn't
want to disappoint myself, because I knew Greg had left
it and then when you said no, it's in the refrigerator,
(04:46):
and I made eye contact on it. Got hungry because
I am ade threat to leave something, and especially in
the morning when I'm coming I was supposed to bring.
I've made myself like a cup of coffee and said
it on the counter and leave it. Of course I'm driving.
I left my coffee in the kitchen. Do you get
Do you get mad at yourself when that happens. Yes,
(05:08):
I get mad at myself. I left my wallet at
home one day. I was over here, no wallet and
none like Speedy, not on purpose, Speedy never carries one,
but looking.
Speaker 3 (05:16):
It was like on a Friday and I was staying
over for a ball game. I mean I needed oh.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
Oh absolutely before we got the text that that Lisa
had done that, which was very exciting. Uh, Terry was
making some breakfast balls. It's not protein balls. It's just
like she calls them breakfast bag. Yeah, there's some stuff
in there. I'm not too sure.
Speaker 1 (05:38):
Is it a ball of egg and then inside there
that might be bacon, cheese, sausage. Anyway, as a poster
a sausage ball that has biscuit, I think they make
them with egg. Okay, I'm out on but there's just
a pan of these breakfast balls and she was making
them for self, and she's like, hey, you can take
a couple in if you want to. And so when
(06:00):
I woke up, there was a sticky note and it
had it had balls and protein on it, and there's
a protein it's a protein shake and the breakfast balls,
and that that was just her way of reminding me,
kind of like.
Speaker 2 (06:10):
Lisa had a note to remind you she knows. So
I have like maybe five or six in a little
bag for a little happy after y'all or do you
after y'all? It was just for you or well they
kind of were, but y'all can grab one, just don't
grab two.
Speaker 1 (06:24):
Well, don't worry. I won't be grabbing too, I promise you.
Speaker 4 (06:27):
No.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
Uh, calm down.
Speaker 1 (06:33):
What's happening?
Speaker 5 (06:34):
I'm in, I'm in. Are you all right?
Speaker 1 (06:36):
What's going on?
Speaker 5 (06:36):
I'm just getting the clips together for the show.
Speaker 1 (06:39):
Other than you setting up to take school pictures today?
And then what else are you doing?
Speaker 5 (06:45):
That's so good?
Speaker 1 (06:47):
You remember the great school picture? Oh yeah, sure, spring pictures.
I don't know that I ever made a school picture
that was worth two cents?
Speaker 3 (06:54):
Remember, remember theential and they made you posed with the
liberty of course, what was ten ten years old?
Speaker 1 (07:01):
I was, yeah, seventy six, Yeah, and.
Speaker 3 (07:03):
I remember it was Hey, centennial. Everybody's cranked up about it. Well,
you know, coins when all you know.
Speaker 1 (07:09):
We've got our America's got its two hundred and fiftieth
birthday coming up? Was it in two years or and
it's coming up close? Because I know we started a
three year preparation for it. And so there's things that
and y'all would just have left me on a limb
that that I have to do to help, you know,
with with We have a thing here that you know,
(07:29):
does the history of the country. It's called American Village. Sure,
and so I'm like helping with that, help promote and
our states celebrate it. But I can't pronounce it. The
two hundred and fifty it's a word. Oh, it's really
Oh you haven't heard what that's called. It's not it
mean like centennial. Yeah, well you know my centennial is
a is a walt to the port. Yeah, we had
(07:50):
no price thing. Honestly, the first time I saw it,
I thought it was a dinosaur. I wasn't familiar with
it's got to have.
Speaker 6 (07:56):
Oh my goodness, Rick, it's semi Quinn Centennial.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
Unbelievable Quinn. They keep they keep asking me to say it.
They keep asking me to say it, and like commercials
and stuff, and I like, guys, I'm sorry. This is
like asking a person with no legs to win the race.
I mean, I got you worse than one. Call me
Christmas thing? Look at it.
Speaker 6 (08:18):
Quinn Centennials, sim Quinn Centennial.
Speaker 3 (08:22):
That's one called and also called the bys You think
I'm weighing off into that.
Speaker 5 (08:28):
Oh my goodness, also called the by ses Quinn send.
Speaker 1 (08:32):
Don't you know? Don't you know right now when they
thought to themselves let's get a let's get a spokesperson
centennial for for Alabama, and somebody said, did we really
just pick somebody from slow class?
Speaker 2 (08:42):
I know, won't you go with quarter quarter?
Speaker 1 (08:47):
Here's one? Sester Centennials? Not bad? What about this? What
about this one? Happy two hundred and fiftieth birthday?
Speaker 7 (08:54):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (08:54):
I think you know what? How about that one? Let's
go there, my favorite, let's go there. I guarantee everybody
gets it yo to fit right.
Speaker 5 (09:01):
So that's coming up July fourth, twenty twenty six.
Speaker 1 (09:07):
Yeah, and like we're pushing it now, like I'm having
to say things about it now.
Speaker 5 (09:11):
The big deal isentennial.
Speaker 8 (09:13):
Ideo.
Speaker 2 (09:13):
Yeah, you got to get so familiar with it, it
just flows.
Speaker 1 (09:16):
Rick. I think that word is one of those things
we just go. I don't think he can.
Speaker 2 (09:19):
Do two hundred and fiftieth anniversary.
Speaker 1 (09:22):
Happy two hundred and fiftieth. That's America.
Speaker 9 (09:25):
Yeah, this is the Rick Burgess Show.
Speaker 1 (09:34):
Okay, So we've seen the headlines. Every time we turn around,
there's some kind of cyber attack on the power grids,
the drones in the sky. Do you believe the explanation
we just got? Maybe maybe not violent attacks on everyday Americans.
The ugly truth is, yes, we're glad that we have
a new leader, but honestly, society is the problem, and
(09:57):
sometimes there's no leader, no system that can protect us
from everything. The last thing that we want is to
be standing in line depending on help that may never come.
So when crisis hits, food is always the first casualty.
Everybody needs it, and panic buying makes things even worse.
We saw this in the pandemic. People went crazy and
just to start taking everything. So that's why I make
(10:19):
sure the family is prepared and we have them ready
to go at camp house and even where we live.
My patriots supplied their four week emergency Root Emergency food
kit is crucial. It gives you the nutrition that you
need to stay strong in a crisis, because not only
do you need food, you need the right food, the
right nutrition two thousand calories a day, one hundred percent
of your daily value of twelve essential vitamins and minerals.
(10:41):
So you're staying healthy, you're staying strong. The kit keeps
you going when every meal is going to matter. So
right now they're offering fifty dollars off their four week
food kit. Go to prepare with Burgess. That's what two
s is. Prepare with Burgess dot com now to get
yours and don't put this off. Now is the time
to prepare. That's prepared with birds dot com. To get
(11:04):
your four week food kit today and peace of mind.
So yes, sir, I have two questions. Two questions are ahead, Terry.
Speaker 2 (11:16):
Well, for the first one, Terry, we were on a
walk last night and I think showing the old picture
of wedding day for us.
Speaker 1 (11:24):
Oh yes, she said, you know, I think I want
you to grow your hair back out, and I said, well,
first of all, thank you for this, for this gift, I.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
Said, I don't. First of all, I don't think I
have much. It's gonna be Horseshoe City.
Speaker 1 (11:37):
Uh oh please.
Speaker 2 (11:38):
But so I'm thinking about maybe after the Stallions because
I'm stadium guy again for.
Speaker 1 (11:44):
Them and forgot.
Speaker 2 (11:45):
I don't really know that I want that because I
don't know.
Speaker 1 (11:49):
Horseshoe Stallion.
Speaker 2 (11:51):
Oh that's pretty good, but I just don't know what
it's going to look like. And so but I might
could commit to it during the summer just to see
it long No, no, no, then i'd have what what's it?
You know, Blair and Karen used to have all the
names for the mullets that what was that one horse?
Speaker 1 (12:09):
Horse? Uh, I don't know. Anyway, there's a scullet, yeah,
is that what it is? Yeah? Yeah, you have the
ball in the mullet in. Yeah. And somebody somebody on
the text line literally just text has Speedy ever had
any hair?
Speaker 2 (12:25):
And that's what made me think of, yes, he has.
We showed a picture of yesterday, right, and so anyway,
so I'm contemplating it. But she's like, you know, I
think I I think I want you to graw your
hair out? Why come from I don't from her seeing
that picture, you know, But but I'm like, honey, like
that was twenty five years ago. Did that make you
feel it made me feel? I don't know, because I've
(12:47):
never had I've always had thin hair anyway.
Speaker 1 (12:49):
But I mean, we didn't never creep in. My wife's
basically tell me she wished I looked different.
Speaker 6 (12:54):
Well, you know, I think this is this is the
equivalent of my wife saying I wish you were taller
to me, I don't think it could happened.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
Well, that's a really good point. Yeah, that's a good point.
Speaker 2 (13:06):
I'm sorry, right, Well, you know that that's just like
she asked me to shave my facial hair and then
I did, and she said no, put it back on,
you know, And I'm like, no, it's gonna take a second.
I got to grow it back out.
Speaker 1 (13:17):
That happened to me. But I think.
Speaker 2 (13:21):
I might try to, but I think it become a comedy.
I've been on vacation before and like for the week
not shaved, and I start looking a little weird.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
Please speeding.
Speaker 2 (13:34):
The reason why I feel hair you have, please, The
reason I'm still bald is because after I shaved it
in live in studio, she said, hey, keep that. I
like that look, which told me that I had really
bad hair.
Speaker 1 (13:46):
Well, I want you to I want you to be careful. Yeah,
I want you to be careful. So weird. So I
watched and already i'd already seen it. But I watched
again that documentary that Ryn Greenwood sent you and me.
But I've seen it before. But you know that drummer
that I can't think is that the one that played
with John Cougar Mellencamp and I think with Sam Hayguard
(14:08):
now said yes, he is with Sammy. Now, you're right,
and he's played with various people. So I noticed that. Normally,
when you see an older musician and they show him
back in the day, he looks better for him, he
actually looks worse when you go back because there was
time he was playing with the horseshoe and now he's
just bald and where sunglasses, and he actually looks cooler
now is a drummer than he did when he was younger.
(14:31):
So I just want to caution you. You you got
a pretty cool look. You've settled into it, you know, older, speedy,
you know it's kind of. I mean, you've established this
look and it's worked for you. Look speedy. Please, what
did you do?
Speaker 4 (14:47):
What?
Speaker 8 (14:47):
What?
Speaker 2 (14:47):
How did you google that?
Speaker 1 (14:48):
Piege?
Speaker 5 (14:48):
I googled balding, redhead, long hair.
Speaker 1 (14:52):
Thank you, thank you so well.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
Now, I've always had a challenge that Ryan Greenwood asked
me to make years ago. He's gonna be so was
Have Greg shave his head and I'll grow hair tremendous.
Greg has never been up for and he's still He
has actually stood in the door and said, no way, No,
I got a big old head.
Speaker 1 (15:12):
So, like I said, a lot of there's only a
few people that I know nowadays that people are doing
it that have no business doing it. The slickballd.
Speaker 7 (15:20):
You're right.
Speaker 1 (15:21):
Not every head can pull that. No, you're right. I
see a lot of people. I go, yeah, I don't
think I would look I think i'd look really bad. Yeah,
he's got a good head.
Speaker 2 (15:28):
What if we all did something different, every one of us.
You went slick face? Oh that's not a good I
grow hair. You shave your head. What could Adler do?
Speaker 5 (15:38):
I do mustache?
Speaker 1 (15:40):
No, buddy, that's not much of a difference. Difference.
Speaker 5 (15:44):
It's not what.
Speaker 1 (15:48):
He said, A big thing.
Speaker 5 (15:49):
This thick, magnificent beer to a mustache.
Speaker 2 (15:52):
Big change, you get a buzz cut.
Speaker 5 (15:54):
I don't want to flaptop yep, yep, I what if
a mullet?
Speaker 2 (15:59):
But he none of us are comfortable with what we're doing,
so you can't be comfortable.
Speaker 5 (16:03):
I can't go buzz cut because eventually I'm gonna have
to go buzz cut.
Speaker 2 (16:07):
And is why he claims he's losing his hair. And
he said that for ten years and he never has.
Speaker 5 (16:11):
Well cage for it was I got off of it
because some other stuff.
Speaker 1 (16:18):
Well you remember that side effect.
Speaker 5 (16:19):
It was it was I'll go bald instead.
Speaker 2 (16:22):
Yes, exactly right. Somebody brought up a good one here.
This is Mark Wahlberg new movie where he has that horseshoe.
Speaker 1 (16:29):
Look, I saw you say that, Yeah, I did. I
have seen that's weird. So are you going to do that?
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (16:34):
I don't know, So I have to find my line here.
I think it's right here, and then I think I'll
have a little spot on the top of my head.
Speaker 5 (16:42):
You definitely will.
Speaker 1 (16:43):
I think I asked you a little root at it.
It's gonna it's gonna come right here, yeah, right there. Yeah,
like this and then this is gonna be open.
Speaker 5 (16:52):
But you do have a good head for being bald.
Speaker 6 (16:55):
You do, because look at this guy right here, and
this is a photo shot, but it's so close, it's
so similar. But one is good and one is bad.
You know, just a little too much forehead on the
right there, Yeah, exactly, And I'm in the too much
forehead category, so speedy, you got just just enough forehead.
Speaker 5 (17:11):
But I think you got I mean, looks like the
guy on the right.
Speaker 1 (17:15):
Do you agree the smaller the head the Yeah, yeah,
I'm poor. What's the sports guy? Yeah, Sean McDonough his name,
I don't know. He calls. I will tell you. I
think I think booger McFarland's head is not not set
up for ball.
Speaker 5 (17:34):
It's not bad.
Speaker 1 (17:35):
I mean, that's not that's not a bad one. No,
that's that's the good picture.
Speaker 10 (17:40):
Sid.
Speaker 1 (17:41):
Okay, are you you're letting the booger McFarland thing go. Yeah,
we've discussed that. Plus he has these wrinkles right for you. Yes,
thank you for pointing that out. I'm again with y'all.
I'm afraid of all that burger looks good?
Speaker 2 (17:55):
Do you you think burger looks good?
Speaker 1 (17:57):
When's the last time you had a bugger Farlandlet's say that.
Speaker 5 (18:00):
Booker McFarlane he did used to have hair, by the way,
I didn't know that.
Speaker 1 (18:04):
Oh yeah, see, much better, It's much better.
Speaker 2 (18:07):
Anyway, I'm entertaining the idea, and Terry and I will
talk more about it.
Speaker 1 (18:13):
I'd like to what if you go crazy and let
it do long?
Speaker 2 (18:16):
No, if I do, I'd probably keep it buzzed. But
then I have that light reddish hair. You probably with
him and know it's Have.
Speaker 1 (18:23):
You checked it a text Ryan Greenwood about this because
you know this is gonna make his day? Oh yeah,
thank you, Adler.
Speaker 9 (18:32):
This is the Rick Burgess Show.
Speaker 1 (18:42):
At Rick Burgess Show dot com. Rick Burgess Show dot com.
Everybody's Instagram is there, the x accounts are there, the
email is there, and you can find all that by
just clicking on the staff or the team or whatever
it says. I keep remember with the title list, uh
where you see all of this contacts also there with
some information as well. All right, So one of the
(19:04):
things I know we've been talking about is that if
you remember, Trump signed the executive order that he is
going to release and declassify everything that revolves around the
assassination of John F. Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, and Martin Luther
King Junior. So everybody said, hey, gonna, we're gonna have
(19:27):
We're gonna finally see these things. Here is an article
today from Fox News by Haley. Is it Chi sing
or something? She says, not so fast, don't get overly
hyped about this, because we've been here before. Now, there's
no doubt that Trump ordered the Director of National Intelligence
(19:49):
and the Attorney General to review the related documents and
present a plan for their full and complete release within
forty five days. Now, that did happen. And of course
Trump promised on his campaign to declassify the documents if
he got a second term, but if you remember, he
also was going to do that in his first term,
(20:12):
but then he decided not to, and he said, remember
this quote, I have no choice. He cited potentially irreversible
harm to national security if he allowed these records to
be released. Has that changed? At one time he said,
I've seen them. I really wanted to release them, But
(20:34):
now that I've seen them, I don't think that's wise.
But now he says, do it. So what do you
guys think on that? It seems. I heard one time
that I think that it added in there also there
were people who were still alive, right, that it would
affect right and that maybe.
Speaker 2 (20:50):
They were waiting for the yeah, because when he didn't
do it, and he gave that reasoning that you talked
about Rick, we talked about on the show, what's he
scared of?
Speaker 1 (20:59):
What's his concay? And that was the mystery. You know,
what is it that was so.
Speaker 2 (21:04):
Important or so bad that he's like, yeah, we need
to wait.
Speaker 1 (21:06):
Well, And the person writing the article says, just so
everybody knows, this is not the first time that the
JFK files have been expected to be released. Congress previously
passed the John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act of
nineteen ninety two, mandating that all records be housed in
(21:28):
a single collection and released within twenty five years, barring
any postponements for security reasons. So we've been trying to
get these out to the public for a while now
and it still hasn't happened. So I think the warning
here is he may be completely sincere. He obviously has
(21:49):
taken the action that says they have to be released
in forty five days. But this journalist here is saying
we've been here before. Yeah, so I don't get to it.
Just just understand that that doesn't mean it's going to happen,
So be interesting to see. Yeah, And because if we
(22:10):
go back to the first term of Trump, he I mean,
here's the quote, it's in the story. He said, I
had every intention to. But now that I've looked at it,
I understand why they don't want me to irreversible security
damage or something. What's changed, Like you said, what's so
bad in it?
Speaker 2 (22:27):
To your point, Greg, is it that they're trying to
protect those you know that have family that's still alive
or whatever, or is it so much Is it so
bad that there would be so much damage done.
Speaker 3 (22:40):
That I'm like, Yo, if he couldn't do it, then
well he chose not to. What's different now? So it's
probably not going to be released.
Speaker 1 (22:50):
On that note, Greg, you do realize that r FK.
We're now doing his confirmation hearing today. Yeah, are you
going to be dialed into that? My friend, I just
saw the headlines of some one of the family members
is trashing him. Yeah, of course, of course.
Speaker 3 (23:07):
Pulling out text like he's anti VACS but he yet
his kids were getting vaccinated or something.
Speaker 1 (23:11):
Yeah, I can't remember that. I have Well, again I
don't know this specific situation, but I have been called
anti vacts as well, because I'd like for us to
handle vaccinations responsibly. That's not anti vacts. That is the
safely vaxxed. Yeah. Yeah, and so but you know, you
get thrown out antivacts. You know, that's one thing I
(23:33):
love about this change that America's made. I mean, we
entered into a society that to question anything you immediately
we're told to go stand over in the corner and
that you're some radical. Of course, a lot of us
that were ostracized and really sometimes broken down so much
that we thought, well, maybe we're wrong. We realize now
(23:53):
that everything that the concerns that were being posed by
many talking now about the pandemic and the vaccination, well
they were absolutely accurate. And we didn't get into the
arena of ideas and say, let's have a discussion about it.
You were told what you could say and what you
couldn't say, and if you said certain things, then you
were not allowed to have a job, you were not
(24:14):
allowed to speak, you couldn't be on social media, and
now a lot of those people, as we see Trump
trying to you know, remedy that a lot of people
who got put away were right. They were actually telling
the truth.
Speaker 5 (24:30):
They were doing their own research, right, Yeah, how dare
us do our own research?
Speaker 1 (24:34):
Well that thinking for yourself will take you nowhere. That
used to be called reading, you know what else used
to be called being American? Right. That used to be
one of the things we prided ourselves on is that,
you know, we it is the people, and we think
for ourselves, and we have maximum liberty and freedom to
maximize our god given potential. And then it turned into
(24:57):
we looked a lot like the places that we used
to do consider you know, unworthy that we didn't want
to be part of. Yeah, and that's an interesting thing too. Sherry,
my wife said something yesterday and I was like, you know,
that is a great point. She said, you know, like
the Selena Gomez crying thing. She said, do any of
these people ever stop to think about what they're saying?
(25:19):
Because so many times they will take our country and
talk about how horrible we are and they can't wait
to leave. But then when people are sent back to
even places that y'all tell us are better. We act
like that, we that they have been tortured because we
simply told them to go back to where they lived.
(25:40):
Is where they live so bad that we have to
cry that that you you were telling us that being
here is a horrid about this, why would you want
them to live? Now you're crying because people are getting
to leave. We're forcing them out of this horrible country
back to this wonderful place that's supposed to be better than.
Speaker 5 (25:58):
Where we are.
Speaker 1 (25:59):
I mean, is Mexico that bad? I mean, is going
back to you know, these Latin American countries?
Speaker 11 (26:06):
Is it that horrible?
Speaker 1 (26:10):
At one time we were we were lifting them up
like you know, this is and I agree with wonderful culture,
wonderful people. Yeah, a great way of life in a
lot of places. So you can't have it both ways.
You can't say to be here is horrible and then
for people to be you know, deported away from here,
that's that's horrible too. If this place is great, I'll
(26:33):
talk to you about that. H But again, you got
to you gotta be legal. But do you realize how
disrespectful it is to people that live in these countries
that we're crying on social media that people have got
to go back to these places. We're not putting them
in jail. I mean we're we're not putting them, you know,
into concentration camps. We're just sending them back to their country.
(26:54):
And they choose to put them in something because of
what they've done in the past. That's kind of on them.
Speaker 6 (26:59):
And we broke down the numbers yesterday of how Obama
was deporting people at a higher rate than Trump actually
did during his administration. I also want to mention that
America has the highest level in the entire planet of
legal immigration and illegal immigration.
Speaker 5 (27:15):
We are an outlier and the number.
Speaker 6 (27:17):
Of people that we allow into our country legally and illegally,
and in a lot of ways, we're suckers for it.
Speaker 5 (27:22):
So don't fall for it.
Speaker 1 (27:24):
Well, the new Press secretary is pulling no punches.
Speaker 2 (27:29):
And we just heard from alt Adler. I have a
challenge for Adler. We'll see if he accepts. Okay, it
has to do with that.
Speaker 1 (27:36):
What do you have to do? Nothing? What you might though?
What about you though? We'll be right back.
Speaker 9 (27:42):
This is the Rick Burgess Show.
Speaker 1 (27:50):
So right now, if you go to angel dot com
slash Rick find out everything you need to know about
Brave the Dark. This movie, it really is a great movie.
It's got a kid that that everybody in the whole
wide world is given up on, and it would be
really easy to give up on him. He keeps making
some pretty bad decisions. He comes from a bad situation,
(28:10):
got a lot of obstacles that normally would say, look,
this kid's going nowhere. But there's a teacher that just
believes in this kid and will not give up on him.
You won't believe how far he goes for this young man,
and he believes that he is valuable and that he
is worth whatever he has to do to give the
kid his best shot. So if you'd like to see this,
(28:32):
maybe you can relate to the story. You know, boy,
if you're a teacher or coach, you really will. So
go right now to angel dot com slash Rick, Angel
dot com slash Rick for the movie Brave the Dark.
You're gonna love it, all right. So a couple of
things are so you said, Adair, we're gonna talk about
(28:53):
this new press secretary that it was Babylon b having fun.
Press doesn't know.
Speaker 7 (28:58):
What to do.
Speaker 1 (29:00):
They have experienced their press secretary that takes and answers questions.
But anyway, Ring Binder, right, you wanted to.
Speaker 2 (29:07):
Talk to you had a dare for ad Yeah, it's
a dare or more of a challenge too.
Speaker 1 (29:13):
Could you queue up to see?
Speaker 2 (29:15):
And I think this will set up my challenge for
him if you don't mind. It has to do with
Caroline Levitt, who was the new Press secretary and something
that she said they're implementing in this administration, and then
we can talk about it after he plays.
Speaker 1 (29:30):
Are we saying her name right? Caroline Levitt? Is it Levitt?
That's what I've heard it, You know, we struggle with names.
Speaker 8 (29:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (29:36):
I don't think it's leaving.
Speaker 5 (29:37):
I think it's Levity.
Speaker 1 (29:38):
Yeah, got a little bit of a bumster yesterday from Adler.
Thank you? Oh yeah.
Speaker 6 (29:41):
Homan versus Harmon, I honestly still don't know because I've
heard it both ways. And you guys ever come up
with like a trick in your mind to help you
remember things, and so it's Tom Harmon. I'm like, oh
it rhymes? Or did I say it doesn't rhyme? You
know what I'm saying, Like you try to make a
mental rick.
Speaker 5 (30:01):
Remember this is like the I.
Speaker 1 (30:02):
T guy is Brett forever because I finally found mine
with him. Okay, it was far I should have come right, Michaels,
just no in in that one. That's easy, all right,
here's tuc.
Speaker 12 (30:13):
We also again encourage anybody in this country, whether you
are a TikTok content creator, a blogger, a podcaster, if
you are producing legitimate news content, no matter the medium,
you will be allowed to apply for press credentials to
this White House. And as I said earlier, our new
media website is white House dot gov slash new media,
(30:37):
and so we encourage people to apply again. As long
as you are creating news related content of the day
and you're a legitimate independent journalist, you're welcome to cover
this White House.
Speaker 2 (30:49):
And that is my challenge. Can alt Adler get in
that press core? And when Caroline looks around goes yes, sir,
and you say yes at the Burger Show, yes, yeah, please,
you're in.
Speaker 6 (31:06):
I did hear some sticking points that she had It said,
legitimate news content.
Speaker 1 (31:11):
Well, this is what are we doing now? We're playing
you do legitimate news content?
Speaker 2 (31:16):
Do I H?
Speaker 1 (31:17):
Well, the show does?
Speaker 13 (31:19):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (31:19):
You would represent the show the fine legit?
Speaker 5 (31:22):
Yeah, the how legitimate does it have to be, is
my question.
Speaker 1 (31:27):
We're breaking down what do we do when we're a journalists?
Everybody knows that we're talking about the news of the
day right.
Speaker 5 (31:33):
Now, we're doing it.
Speaker 1 (31:34):
Now.
Speaker 5 (31:35):
If you think I can get in, I'll try to
get go to the what do you do?
Speaker 1 (31:38):
Do we think we know?
Speaker 5 (31:39):
Okay, all right, I got to make it happen.
Speaker 14 (31:41):
Then what was it?
Speaker 1 (31:43):
White House, dot gov slash new media. Yeah, that's the one.
I think you need to fill out a form put
in that. How big a coverage the show has, all
the different platforms. I'm telling you they're gonna let you.
Speaker 2 (31:53):
If you could be in that press room and ask
a question, yeah, come on, if she even went to
the back of the yesterday in the.
Speaker 1 (32:01):
Back yeah, yeah, what Greg if we look if we
look on TV and just like he looks and just
what he wears to work? He said, yeah, in the back? Yeah,
uh Chris Eddie van Adler from the Rick Burgess Show.
You probably know me, his alt Tadler. Hey, and then
ask the question, yeah, maybe you could carry a little
(32:21):
stool with you. I'm sorry, but stand that way. We
had built him up and had him ready to go. Yeah, yeah,
I just think this is our chance.
Speaker 2 (32:34):
And look there's people texting right now saying they they
get their news from us, which is concerning, but they do.
Speaker 1 (32:41):
But they do, and so put because we get right
to it. Put that in your form. Okay. I honestly
think that you've got a platform here that they would
want you to be covering this administration straight up. Okay,
let's got to Chris Adler in the back. Yeah, Chris,
you'll become like Doocey Peter, hang on it. And I
want talked to Chris about this. Chris.
Speaker 5 (33:02):
Okay, I'll be like, so, kareem tell me.
Speaker 1 (33:06):
No correct administration last minute. It's Caroline. I don't see
it has nothing but the color. She actually answers questions.
Speaker 2 (33:15):
Okay, all right, well and uh and we have plenty
of those back and forth from yesterday. But I just
saw this and and I was listening to it live
and when she said that, the first person I thought
of was a sobsolutely got.
Speaker 5 (33:27):
To get in there.
Speaker 1 (33:28):
Yeah, that's your challenge. Yes, can you get in there? Okay,
and looking at it because of your kids and everything,
we can rotate. We'll send speedy some. We will not
send Greg.
Speaker 4 (33:37):
No.
Speaker 1 (33:37):
No, that's a good idea.
Speaker 2 (33:39):
No, I just think if we go, we could even
turn it into something. Maybe the show does another show
from the White House.
Speaker 1 (33:45):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (33:45):
I know, but talk to Trump again.
Speaker 1 (33:48):
Why don't you work the angle and we'll just go
for it. I'll do the show. Yeah, and up there
too and that way. Yeah. But if you're doing no,
you can go.
Speaker 2 (33:58):
If you could be wearing that that credential padler it
says White House Press Corps to dress up, Yeah, I
kind of.
Speaker 1 (34:05):
You see some of those journalists, my goodness, someone like
they sleep on the floor.
Speaker 9 (34:09):
That's true.
Speaker 1 (34:09):
That gets you down. I use the word journalists loosely.
Speaker 5 (34:12):
I got my nice cirkling signature sweater on. I could
wear that.
Speaker 1 (34:16):
You that look good.
Speaker 12 (34:17):
I think.
Speaker 2 (34:18):
I think you make the initial official request and then
we also work channels on making that request. Maybe move
to the top. Yeah, but you're in, because she said
if she even had two journalists there that had not
even had credentials to that room yesterday, that she asked
questions to yes, quick.
Speaker 6 (34:36):
Question here I have heard and can you confirm are
they really turning the frogs? Gig like that kind of question.
Speaker 1 (34:42):
Yes, stuff. People want to know you're gonna talk to
him easy. Now there's we can find other ways that
we're not going to send them. People said they need
this show live from mar A Largo.
Speaker 14 (34:53):
That fun.
Speaker 1 (34:56):
Question.
Speaker 6 (34:56):
Yeah, I'm gonna ask the tough questions that people want
to know the answer to, like, for example, who was
the president for the last four years?
Speaker 1 (35:04):
Okay, because it was in Biden?
Speaker 5 (35:06):
Literally call us.
Speaker 1 (35:09):
Hey, yes, Chris, Yeah, and Chris here with the Rick
Burgess Show. Hey, Caroline, not good to talk to you again. Hey,
do you feel the pressure that America has given you
a mandate?
Speaker 7 (35:20):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (35:20):
To see it through no matter the resistance. I'd just
like to talk about, you know, are we gonna are
you seeing progress and the things that you guys committed
to tell us a little about that, and then you
start off like that, and then then you come back
with would you would you use the red lobster biscuit
mix with your sausage balls? Good idea about that.
Speaker 5 (35:42):
Of the Yeah, yeah, okay, that's good.
Speaker 1 (35:44):
That's good.
Speaker 6 (35:45):
And then what about like, uh, you know, Seth Rich
leaked d n C emails and then he was killed
in the streets of Washington, d C.
Speaker 5 (35:52):
Right after that, and they didn't take his wallet or anything.
Any comments on that.
Speaker 1 (35:57):
So you're going back to that kind of stuff. Yeah,
you know, well, I think everything bout this will be
big right now, the JFK. We know you guys desire
Carolyn to release them. The President's been clear about that.
But we've heard this before. Do you think we will
actually see these things? Yeah? Is the president confident? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (36:15):
And then what a got?
Speaker 1 (36:16):
How you like that one?
Speaker 5 (36:17):
That's good?
Speaker 2 (36:18):
And she's look, she's only twenty seven years old, true,
and the youngest to ever have that position, right, And
she talked about, you know, connecting with young Americans, and
I think you're the youngest one.
Speaker 1 (36:30):
On the staff. I think it's a natural fare we go.
I think I think you get in Adler.
Speaker 6 (36:35):
And do I ask about like the Mali fires in California,
was that was it space lasers or.
Speaker 10 (36:39):
Was it alien?
Speaker 1 (36:40):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (36:41):
Alien lasers?
Speaker 1 (36:42):
I think that's a good question.
Speaker 5 (36:43):
Was it our lasers? All the aliens lasers? By the way,
they told us what the drowns are. Biden's just not
telling us and lying about this is.
Speaker 9 (36:51):
The Rick Burgess Show.
Speaker 1 (36:58):
Okay. Some people are saying, if we in and we've
become part of the press corps and with the Trump administration.
People want Gary as well. I just we can't just
keep adding people, Hey, can I ask you something? Caroline?
Are you are you trying to tell America that maybe
we can have something? So here's what she basically says.
(37:18):
Here she is this press secretary. It didn't take long
for her to establish how it was going to go.
So here she is talking about the Trump administration. They're
now the ones that have been put into power by
the people. And here's what's taking place here.
Speaker 12 (37:35):
She is, it's an honor to be here with all
of you, A lot of familiar faces in the room,
a lot of new faces, and President Trump is back
and the Golden age of America has most definitely begun.
Speaker 1 (37:47):
Well there we go. I mean, maybe we can have something,
so we will see. So she didn't take long either
to establish that she was going to be no nonsense,
you know, which that should if you're going to be
press secretary for the Trump administration, especially two point zero,
it is we're going to just say things as they are.
(38:10):
You've seen jd Vance do the same thing. You know,
the famous is it? Frankly, Margaret, I don't care. Is
that this thing everybody keeps talking about there. I don't care,
Margaret or whatever I think I'm combining going with a wins. Frankly, Margaret,
I couldn't give. But anyway, here she is, when she's
just listened to the question about how many people that
(38:30):
we've deported that are in our country illegally?
Speaker 8 (38:33):
Here we go.
Speaker 12 (38:34):
Can you just tell us the numbers how many have
a criminal record versus those who are just in the
country illegally, all of them because they illegally broke our
nation's laws, and therefore they are criminals as far as
this administration goes. I know the last administration didn't.
Speaker 5 (38:46):
See it that way.
Speaker 12 (38:47):
So it's a big culture shift in our nation to
view someone who breaks our immigration laws as a criminal.
But that's exactly what they are, and we are off
and running.
Speaker 1 (38:57):
It's just what's happened here, law question.
Speaker 6 (39:01):
The woman's question contradicted itself. Yeah, what about the ones
that don't have a criminal record that are here illegally?
Speaker 2 (39:07):
Yeah, the press corps has come alive. You know, for
four years they've sat there and let that administration get
away with lives. Now suddenly they want to ask questions
like the price of eggs. He's been in for eight days,
right right, we got.
Speaker 1 (39:20):
A bird flu going come down, So I'm kind of open.
Now you just want to row them in order.
Speaker 5 (39:25):
Here, did y'all want to do drones?
Speaker 13 (39:27):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (39:27):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (39:27):
What?
Speaker 1 (39:27):
What was just that? We now know the answer on
the drums y'all made the point going to the break. Yeah,
we could not get an answer from the last administration.
I mean even they almost had this. I don't know.
They were presenting themselves like yeah, I don't know. But
now that the Trump administration has been in for a
very short time, we're now told about the drones. Yeah.
Speaker 12 (39:49):
Before I turned to questions, I do have news directly
from the President of the United States that was just
shared with me in the Oval Office from President Trump
directly an update on the New Jersey d drones. After
research and study, the drones that were flying over New
Jersey and large numbers were authorized to be flown by
the FAA for research and various other reasons. Many of
(40:13):
these drones were also hobbyists, recreational and private individuals that
enjoy flying jones in meantime, and in time it got
worse due to curiosity. This was not the enemy. A
statement from the President of the United states to start
this briefing with some news and with that I will
turn it over.
Speaker 15 (40:32):
Oh wow, wait a minute, here we go just tell
them something. Yeah, well, come on, guys, to watch out.
Speaker 5 (40:44):
These drones have the lights on them required by the FAA.
Speaker 1 (40:48):
Well then why didn't they just say that.
Speaker 13 (40:53):
To it?
Speaker 5 (40:54):
They just let it sits look cracking.
Speaker 1 (40:58):
Let's don't just fall all over? Were the signe I
like said it? It must be true.
Speaker 5 (41:04):
That's true, Greg. I never wanted to live that way.
That's one hundred percent right.
Speaker 1 (41:08):
But at least the.
Speaker 2 (41:10):
Last administration stood there with hung in his stairs.
Speaker 5 (41:12):
We had governors being like, what is this? Hey, I'm
the governor of the state. I don't know what this
stuff is.
Speaker 1 (41:17):
The answer was that simple, Yeah, what was it? What
was it? But well, that's all I'm saying.
Speaker 6 (41:23):
They had the lights on these drones that were supposed
to be hidden or whatever. Why are they lit up
with the lights required by the FAA.
Speaker 5 (41:29):
That was one of my big main questions.
Speaker 1 (41:30):
You did make that point, and I will say this
now the point of and you know this, Greg, this
actually stays in the rhythm of Greg. Now, I don't
think that if if something starts out is not a
big deal, and suddenly with hysteria, we turned it into
everything under the sun. Remember the clowns.
Speaker 3 (41:45):
Don't forget cloud scare we love to be That was
the most ridiculous thing, and even local we had we
deal with it locally.
Speaker 1 (41:55):
Now why, now, why the Biden administration is you make
about a point there? Didn't just simply tell us, I'm
unless they wanted to create, you know, all this confusion
and make it look like that, you know, Trump's dangerous
and he's so dangerous that we're being attacked from other worlds.
I don't know. Next one is a good one to e.
So you're you're going to have Brian Glenn ask Caroline
(42:19):
Levitt to ask her, how did how did the Trump
seem to handle this Columbia situation so easily?
Speaker 16 (42:25):
Here we go, Well, my question is do you think
this latest incident with the President of Columbia is indicative
of the global powerful respect they have for President Trump
moving forward not only to engage in economic diplomacy with
these countries but also world peace.
Speaker 12 (42:45):
Absolutely. I'll echo the answer that the President gave on
Air Force One last night when he was asked a
very similar question by one of your colleagues in the media.
This signifies peace through strength is back. Yes, And this
president will not tolerate legal immigration into America's interior. And
he expects every nation on this planet again to cooperate
(43:07):
with the repatriation of their citizens who illegally entered into
our country and broke America's laws. Won't be tolerated. And
as you saw, the Colombian government quickly folded and agreed
to all the President Trump's demands. Flights are underway once again.
Speaker 1 (43:21):
By the way, Babylon b has had a field day
with this one about Columbia two. So did you see
the one yesterday where it shows Trump and there's a
guy right here. Here's what it says. Trump reminds the
Columbian president he wants two coats of wax on his limousine.
That's good, and the Columbian presidents at their wax. But Magan,
(43:42):
but we had countries, and it should concern all of
us sending their worst, emptying mental institutions, emptying prisons, and
just really almost weaponizing these people to come in to
be a problem for us. And this administration said, you
do that to us, we won't tolerted. Now do we
(44:06):
need to work on getting a smoother legal immigration system. Yes,
you talk to people that's been through it, it is tough. No, no, no, Yeah,
legal immigration needs to be a smoother process and we
need to work on that. But just because that is
true doesn't mean you just have a wide open border
(44:27):
and you don't know who's coming in and who it is.
There is a balance on that. And first thing you
got to do before you can get to the legal
immigration and try to smooth that out is you got
to stop ye the bleeding. So now we do have
two f here comes. Of course, you know this is
going to happen. But this Press secretary, even at twenty
seven years old, she handles herself quite well when she
(44:48):
gets a question that is based on emotion but not
a lot of facts. Here we go.
Speaker 17 (44:53):
The President Trump, of course ran one of the key
policy items was that he was going to lower prices, lower.
Speaker 5 (44:57):
The cost of everything from groceries, as he often said.
Speaker 17 (45:00):
But in many of the cases, it would seem that
some of these moves could raise prices for real Americans
on everything from low income.
Speaker 2 (45:07):
Heating, that program, childcare programs.
Speaker 17 (45:09):
Will nothing that the President's doing here in terms of
the freezing these programs raise prices on ordinary Americans.
Speaker 12 (45:15):
What particular actions are you referring to that wood.
Speaker 17 (45:18):
L heap right now, that's the low income Heating program
for example. We can talk about there's no clarity, so
I could refer to a lot of them. We don't
know what they are specifically. Can you tell us that
l heap, the light heap is not one of those effected?
Speaker 12 (45:29):
So you're asking hypopthetical based on programs that you can't
even identify.
Speaker 6 (45:36):
So the federal freezing of the federal funds for these NGOs,
that is not going to if you get assistance from
the government and you're an individual, that will not impact
you at all.
Speaker 1 (45:47):
If I even said that in the pressure release, Yeah,
we'll come back. Let's go phone calls and eggs, find
out what's on your mind, America. You can comment on
this or whatever you want to. Our numbers eight eight
eight six big Vox and we chat with you America
right after this.
Speaker 9 (46:02):
This is the Rick Burgess Show.
Speaker 1 (46:14):
Here we go. All right, So Brad is standing by,
uh and this couldn't lead into something else I want
to ask him, and Uh, he's got a question for us. Hey, Brad,
Welcome to the rick Burgess.
Speaker 4 (46:28):
Boy.
Speaker 1 (46:28):
What's going on, buddy?
Speaker 14 (46:30):
Well, I'm just driving to work here. So over the weekend,
I was taking my dog.
Speaker 1 (46:37):
Out the potty on the back porch, understood, and.
Speaker 14 (46:42):
I was unfortunately approached. I used the word attacked. That's
been debated. Yeah, I was attacked by skunk okay, and
I live I live in Cole Okay. Now I did
not get sprayed. My dog did. And that's a whole difference.
Speaker 2 (47:01):
Yeah, but it is.
Speaker 14 (47:03):
It's the way that I reacted and what I did
that's under question. My fiance has asked me to turn
over my men car okay, permanently, and I think it
may be more of a man card suspension would be appropriate.
My reaction not great. I don't look great.
Speaker 1 (47:22):
Okay.
Speaker 14 (47:24):
The audio is crucial.
Speaker 1 (47:26):
Yeah okay, okay, just make.
Speaker 14 (47:27):
That clear how I reacted. I'm not proud of it.
I want to say that.
Speaker 1 (47:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 14 (47:32):
So what do you just need to I did? Go ahead?
I'm sorry?
Speaker 1 (47:36):
Yeah? So are you? Would you be? And we have
to ask this question, would you like for us to
do a round of the big Vox verdict?
Speaker 13 (47:46):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (47:47):
What we would rule on is did you lose your
man card? Do you think there's any verdict that comes
in that you want at least have it suspended? You
Are you even hoping for a verdict that you didn't
lose it or get it suspended, or do you think
it's too bad?
Speaker 14 (48:02):
Well, I'll be honest, I'm hoping for maybe a I
think that you and Greg are going to go ahead
and pull it permanently out beyond. I think there's a
chance Adler, being probably the most girless figure of the group,
may give me a hung furial this.
Speaker 1 (48:19):
Okay, okay, it's fair. It's time for the big vox verdict.
Oh boy, Well, first of all, the jury, speedy, Greg
and yours truly. Adler of course has put on his
judge garb and his new gabble. He's ready to go
on the ruling and he'll didn't hand down the punishment
after we come to our verdict. So let's have a
(48:42):
look at the video jury, Are you all ready?
Speaker 6 (48:44):
All right?
Speaker 1 (48:45):
Let's have a look at the video on Brad's reaction
to being attacked by skunk.
Speaker 5 (48:48):
Here we go, all right, play the video.
Speaker 1 (48:51):
Thank you, judge, look at it. It's not good?
Speaker 4 (49:09):
Was that?
Speaker 1 (49:09):
Does that? Just then that woman screaming sound. Did that
just uncontrollably come out of you or is that something
you do a lot? Oh?
Speaker 14 (49:16):
Absolutely, And I'll say there's a So I want to
I ran to the front. There's a cliff from the
front porch. You see me coming back. But there was
some words I didn't want to uh guess their on
that part. But what it's funny, I actually I get
caught in this scream. Even when I get in the house,
I'm still screaming.
Speaker 1 (49:36):
I get caught.
Speaker 14 (49:36):
I can't get out of it. I get caught in it.
Speaker 1 (49:38):
Well, I mean, you would have thought it was going
to eat you the way right?
Speaker 5 (49:41):
Goodness Again, it didn't even really go after that.
Speaker 2 (49:44):
I would like to ask a question.
Speaker 1 (49:47):
At least have his butt turned that you're trying to
spray you.
Speaker 5 (49:49):
Yeah, that's just going to be admissible.
Speaker 14 (49:51):
But once you get to that point, Gregg, you're done.
Speaker 2 (49:54):
Yeah, Brad, uh if I could. So, you're standing on
the back porch and you're looking out to what looks
like a backyard area, do you and it's it's dark, right, so.
Speaker 14 (50:06):
Let me so yes, to the right, the left have light.
What happened when I was I was getting ready to pee.
Speaker 1 (50:18):
Yeah, yeah, I was wondering what you were do not
have a bathroom brand inside dog pe y'all know.
Speaker 14 (50:25):
If you if you live out in the woods.
Speaker 1 (50:28):
And you had to take the dog out there, and
while you're waiting, you're like, well, I guess I'll just go.
Speaker 14 (50:34):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (50:35):
So that's what I was wondering, is so you don't
see the skunk until it's right like right at you,
because it's dark right at me.
Speaker 14 (50:42):
And I will say this, I do hear something approaching
to my right, okay, and I could tell something coming up.
But I have an armadillo I named Fred. He's a
friendly armadala. It's normally Fred coming by, okay, So I
thought it was Fred just as he normally does, just
kind of coming by, and we you know, I thought
the would say hey. So I wasn't expecting it to
(51:02):
be the skunk because I lived there three years. I've
never had the skunk come out.
Speaker 1 (51:06):
I see it again, Okay, you play the video almost fail.
Speaker 14 (51:18):
I had. I had to make a leaf off the
porch and I did hurt.
Speaker 1 (51:21):
My Yeah, yeah, I saw that. You almost fail. Going in,
it looks like the skunk. It's like a burrow that
I did note that.
Speaker 14 (51:29):
Yeah, So I did you know my dog was coming
behind me? I could hear something behind me. I thought
that the skunk had had taken pursuit.
Speaker 2 (51:39):
Okay, so that's why you kept screaming going in because
you fell?
Speaker 1 (51:43):
Yes, okay, okay, all right, so you're before the jury.
He keeps his man card, which I that would be innocent. Uh,
then guilty suspension or guilty total removal. That's what's before us.
I will I will say that my vote is total
removal of the man card. And I'll tell you why
(52:06):
the screaming is.
Speaker 13 (52:07):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (52:08):
It it means it's very female.
Speaker 14 (52:10):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (52:11):
And I think I think I would have gone with
suspension if you hadn't kept screaming continued. He thought it
was kept.
Speaker 2 (52:17):
He thought it would continue to run in there after.
Speaker 1 (52:20):
So my ruling is total removal of the man card.
Speaker 14 (52:22):
Right, wow, Okay, thank you?
Speaker 1 (52:26):
I think, uh, the scream really hurts? It does it hurts? Does?
It does give you a little positive the fact that
you were peeing off the back porch. That gives you
some man cred.
Speaker 5 (52:37):
We got that here's.
Speaker 1 (52:41):
Also with an assist from somebody on the text. But
I was thinking to myself, you used the term potty.
That didn't help. No, it didn't. That didn't.
Speaker 7 (52:49):
That did.
Speaker 1 (52:49):
That's a good point. Yeah, you know, so I am.
I'm going for the suspension, all right, suspension because he
looks like a burly guy. That Yeah.
Speaker 2 (53:04):
Someone on the text line brought up a good idea.
I think, because you don't know what noise you're gonna make.
You know, it was just uncontrollable and the fact you
thought it was pursuing you inside that's why the scream
continued and you're nearly on his head. Yeah, I'm gonna
give you a suspension as well, but you have to
ship to pee for one month.
Speaker 1 (53:27):
I forgot about punishment. Oh yeah, okay, the sentencing I
had learned the sentencing.
Speaker 18 (53:34):
Order.
Speaker 1 (53:35):
Okay, I just broke something.
Speaker 6 (53:39):
After preliminary considerations and hearing from the jurors emeritus's and
hearing from the just jury, hereby suspended your man card
for a period of six months, requiring one month of
sitting down to pete to remind your self.
Speaker 5 (54:00):
Hey, I am a man. I don't do that.
Speaker 1 (54:03):
Okay, there's the ruling, Brad. Six months and one month
of sitting to do number one. Thank you, Brad. Now
you doing Thank you, Jerry, I'm ruling, thank you.
Speaker 9 (54:16):
This is the Rick Burgess Show.
Speaker 1 (54:24):
Savvy watching you guys on the text option. You're very,
very savvy, and I love the person that says, if
you guys, surely you know when you look at the
suggestions and the rules, what they have put here are
things they've experienced. Yea, And all of these were built
off things that actually happened, right, So so sure, yeah.
Speaker 2 (54:45):
There you love you and your families. But but but
it's a really small child that can't sit here for
you know, quite quiet.
Speaker 1 (54:54):
Should not a good idea.
Speaker 2 (54:55):
It's going to be miserable for you too, because you're
going to be and it just it doesn't didn't.
Speaker 1 (55:00):
Work children child over a microphone. Well that's one of
the rules. Not sure we're going to say it just
like that, but you sure let me tell you there's
clarity now. Yeah. Well, I'm just there's very few occasions
that I would care right, Yeah. One, if you're trying
to broadcast right, yeah, man, noises are picked up, that's
(55:22):
that's all. And then because I've seen a lot.
Speaker 2 (55:25):
Of parents that man, they did get plans to have
their child be looked after, and they're like Oh, this
is so nice to just sit here.
Speaker 1 (55:33):
And you know, I love kids myself and love it
had a bunch of kids.
Speaker 2 (55:40):
But you know me how observant I am and get
secondhand when these parents start struggling with their kids. I
get all nervous and they and they look at me
and I don't know what to tell them. Before you
know it, they're in my office chair breastfeed. Yeah, that's happened.
Speaker 1 (55:54):
That has happened, right, I just don't want that right.
And how about this coming coming here when you're violently sick?
Probably not a good idea. We'll let you make it up.
It will make it up, won't figure it out. Don't
you worry about that? Made in like a week?
Speaker 3 (56:10):
Maybe maybe hit hit them pits, hit them teeth, you know,
just things, because there's things we just need to get that.
Speaker 1 (56:18):
I mean, these things seem obviously.
Speaker 3 (56:19):
I mean, and again back to the statement the texture made.
These are things that have happened before, including the sting.
Speaker 1 (56:26):
We're glad that you worked on the list while y'all
were camping out coming by here, But I mean, let's
say you slept on the ground and didn't have time
to run through that shower that's all right, Yeah, weekomery schedule, sipball. Yeah.
Well yeah, so that's you know these things are they're
not They're just common sense, that's all. Yeah, that's all
they are.
Speaker 2 (56:45):
I just want y'all to be aware and yeah, you
come and enjoy it too, you know, and I know that, Uh,
those of you that make arrangements to be here. It's
a special day for y'all, So think of others, right, zall.
Doesn't mean we don't want y'all here.
Speaker 1 (56:59):
Tell it's gonna be fun, right, telling any member you
would probably enjoy enjoyed the show more if they weren't
on the team. Say, that's just not you might be
thinking that you have every right to think it. Yeah,
but just need to say. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (57:11):
The one I get the most is I used to hate.
Speaker 1 (57:13):
You, like that's a compliment. I got that in the past.
Speaker 6 (57:18):
What about now though? Then They don't ever add but
now I like you that. It just hangs and then
I say, thanks for coming, right, How do you feel now?
Speaker 1 (57:29):
Thank you? Right? So it's gotten better? Right, Uh, well,
we're loving again. We talked a little bit earlier about
the new Press secretary for the Trump administration. We love
old border is he called the borders are what is Tom?
It's weird Tom Holman, right, Tom Holman.
Speaker 6 (57:47):
Yes, he is the director of US Immigration and Customs
Enforcement to.
Speaker 5 (57:53):
I don't know if it rhymes. I forgot what my
little Q was, my little code word for myself memory.
Speaker 1 (58:00):
Well, you know those little cues don't help if you
can't remember what. So anyway, here he is talking about
Joy Reid and this guy is boy. Uh so here's
his comment on Joy Reid in her assessment of his job.
Speaker 6 (58:16):
And it's the clip is actually going to play the
Joy Reid clip and then he's going to react to it.
Joy Reid is talking about Christy Nome who went down
to the border with ice and she did put on
like an ice jacket.
Speaker 5 (58:28):
And so that's what Joy Reid is talking about.
Speaker 4 (58:30):
Governor who's confirmed as a Department Home and Security. I mean,
it's she's costplaying. It's almost a game where she seems
to be cost playing, because I'm not sure what she
thinks that she's portraying here.
Speaker 1 (58:40):
She might as well be a comic.
Speaker 2 (58:41):
Con James and Joy say, you're reckless and you're just
role playing for fun.
Speaker 1 (58:49):
She's demmer in a box of rocks. That's its that
that is uh, well, you know, just more of that.
I think. I think there's a refreshment that is coming,
uh with this administration that I think we've all been
(59:10):
been longing for. Do you like that? Quick reply, Greg,
you're speaking of dumb as rocks three A andler.
Speaker 4 (59:20):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (59:21):
Sonny Houston on the view, unfortunately, is going to claim
that being in the country illegally isn't a crime. Does
he know what the word illegal means? She does not, Greg,
But we sure are going to start there. We're going
to fact check that for her. Here. So here is
again Sonny Houston saying that it's not a crime to
be here illegally.
Speaker 6 (59:42):
Have inner sense support deporting criminal adocumented?
Speaker 5 (59:45):
Yes, anybody in the world.
Speaker 10 (59:47):
Yeah, I don't know anybody in the world who wants
to keep the criminals.
Speaker 1 (59:51):
I don't know anybody.
Speaker 10 (59:55):
Because you know, to keep on talking about criminals and
immigrants being criminals, and I just want people to understand
what the facts are and the stats are, is that
undocumented immigrants are much less likely to have committed crimes
than American citizens. American citizens commit more crimes than anyone
(01:00:16):
who is undocumented. I also want to make the point
that an undocumented immigrant is not a criminal because he
or she is undocumented. That is a civil offense. So
to call people illegal is in and of itself, I
think xenophobic and racists.
Speaker 13 (01:00:34):
And.
Speaker 1 (01:00:37):
Now that's that's incorrect. It's a federal crime. It is
a federal crime to be in this country illegally. It's
not a civil it's a federal offense. Sonny, I don't know.
I don't know why you didn't check with somebody on that.
I don't know. But the problem that nice dad whoever
(01:00:59):
is so easy for the well, it was so easiy
fro him to get in the country. You should be
concerned to that, whether you whether violent or not. If
the nice person could get in, so can the other.
I don't believe it.
Speaker 5 (01:01:11):
I don't believe her SATs.
Speaker 6 (01:01:12):
If they're undocumented, how is there any kind of accountability
at all?
Speaker 1 (01:01:16):
Right for them? Walk that one out. We'll be back.
The number is eight eight eight six, Big Box. We'll
talk to you next.
Speaker 9 (01:01:25):
This is the Rick Burgess Show.
Speaker 1 (01:01:33):
Oh look who we got. Here's Larry from Dublin, Georgia's
really he's updating us on the patches. Larry. Yeah, so
Larry tell us the update on the police patches and
challenge coins.
Speaker 8 (01:01:49):

Speaker 5 (01:02:03):

Speaker 8 (01:02:06):
We're moving the patches from one frame to another, trying
to work on specialty unit patches. Yes, like swat bomb squat.
We come up with two frames of just swat bomb
squat and canine patches.
Speaker 2 (01:02:26):
Nice, nice, sweet, as Ada would say, so she could
make millions as the voice of something.
Speaker 1 (01:02:33):
You could? You know, you too have become celebrities on
the show.
Speaker 8 (01:02:36):
Now how have we become celebrities?
Speaker 1 (01:02:39):
The audience loves you, I mean you, we played back
me talking to you on the phone, you know, and
people have your your ongoing plight to get a po box.
It's just people. They can't get another of them.
Speaker 8 (01:02:54):
Well, the thing is Debylin is a small town and
everybody here had a post of the box and it's
hard to they're just totally out of the post office boxes.
Speaker 1 (01:03:07):
Right did you did you do you have a ups
place there?
Speaker 14 (01:03:12):
No, we don't.
Speaker 1 (01:03:14):
He didn't sound too confident. Yeah, I'm not sure there.
You will look into that. But yeah, are y'all are
people finding your address where to send it? Now?
Speaker 6 (01:03:25):
Not yet.
Speaker 1 (01:03:28):
The okay, but but I thought y'all gave your address out.
Speaker 5 (01:03:32):
Yeah, I have it right here.
Speaker 8 (01:03:33):
We get Rick, we did, but so far, i'll we've
gotten the stepping, the Royal Canadian mind the police.
Speaker 1 (01:03:41):
Well, now I took care of that. Larry. I'm gonna
try to do his voice. You know, I told you
I was pretty well connected with him. I've got a
family member that once was a mounting.
Speaker 5 (01:03:52):
Yeah, there's a ups on Hillcrest Parkway.
Speaker 1 (01:03:58):
There's a ups On Hillcrest Larry, Larry.
Speaker 8 (01:04:02):
Oh, I didn't know that.
Speaker 1 (01:04:07):
I love Larry. Well, Larry, you could maybe do something there.
This is Larry of Larry and Carolyn Hopkins. They collect
police patches and challenge coins. If you did not hear
our interview with him, they have a website that is
extremely lengthy. Larry will tell us the website again.
Speaker 8 (01:04:26):
At Deblin du the l I Ed Georgia Police Department
patch collectors dot com.
Speaker 2 (01:04:35):
He's not saying tax collect now, he's saying pack patch
pack collectorship.
Speaker 1 (01:04:39):
Yeah, do not if you call here on April the fifteenth.
You're gonna you're gonna scare people, all right, so so
and they live on side.
Speaker 5 (01:04:47):
Does not work.
Speaker 1 (01:04:49):
They never worked.
Speaker 5 (01:04:50):
Typed it in a month, bunch of times.
Speaker 1 (01:04:51):
Yeah, you can google it. I've actually seen Dublin, right, yeah, Dublin.
Yeah yeah, so five twelve palisde Drive, Dublin, Georgian. Right, Larry, So,
and I know a lot of people have been contacting
us on how to get you guys patches. So there
you go. Well, Larry, thank you for the update. Till
Carolyn we so it. Hello, Hello Carolyn, how are you good?
(01:05:15):
Good to talk to you all. Okay, thanks guys.
Speaker 5 (01:05:20):
You're a saint.
Speaker 4 (01:05:22):
She is?
Speaker 5 (01:05:22):
She definitely is.
Speaker 1 (01:05:25):
I am not saying that website either. Well when I
google that though, it something comes up with you. But
it's just the interview with them. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's it.
Speaker 5 (01:05:33):
That website. I don't know who they're paying for it,
but it's not working.
Speaker 1 (01:05:36):
I don't think it's a website. Well, God love them,
God love them. And they got a bunch of patches somehow,
really did uh? Diane in Tennessee, Diane, go ahead, Hey,
we're good, Diane.
Speaker 5 (01:05:52):
I hope you're Okay, I'm good.
Speaker 7 (01:05:55):
Good listen. I just wanted to make the comment that
I think that Gregg should spend a wheel for me
because I still have my Christmas decorations inside and out. Well,
so I think of guys all the stick together.
Speaker 1 (01:06:10):
So you still is slic Dan? Will you? Will you
consider taking them down? I mean, but what's your what's
your plan?
Speaker 7 (01:06:20):
Well, when it gets warm enough to take them down,
I'll take them down, I guess. But it hasn't been
warm enough. But I like to lay mine up because
you work so hard to get everything done and then
sit down and enjoy it.
Speaker 1 (01:06:32):
Okay, all right, Well how long? How long are do
you put get them up early or did they come
up late? Like Lee Lee? Lee is leaving hers up
because she said that she was hosting, you know which
there's a lot of pressure with that, and they kept
adding to it. Then they take their little family beach
get away together, so she missed a week of it
then and she just feels like she's not done yet.
Speaker 7 (01:06:53):
Well I'm not either. I put mine up before Thanksgiving,
right after Thanks well right after thanks.
Speaker 1 (01:07:01):
So what we will? We're gonna let Greg spend the wheel? Serious? Yeah,
I'm sure why not. Oh wow, all right, So Diane,
we're gonna let we're gonna let Greg spend the wheel
for you and we'll see what it lands on. Because Greg,
she says, the people that won't take their Christmas decorations
down should should stick together, sog. Greg is spending the
wheel of bundles, bits and bucks. And it's been it's
(01:07:23):
it's been cranking out cash. Yeah, I mean, like, I mean,
but you know that didn't mean that it's gonna happen,
because it could be a bundle, could be a bend, bundle,
could be a bit. So here, here we go, Greg,
give it a leave your Christmas decorations too long, spind
Here we go, leave them up. And she's a I
(01:07:45):
didn't tell her say it's will to me spending. I'm sorry,
I'm still not gonna win money. Now, Well, you may
be right. The Larry thing be closed. It's gonna.
Speaker 10 (01:08:01):
Play you.
Speaker 1 (01:08:02):
You've got a subscription to Blaze TV. You were about
you're about you're about three clip, you're about two clicks
from five hundred dollars.
Speaker 4 (01:08:10):

Speaker 5 (01:08:10):
But so it was closed.
Speaker 7 (01:08:13):
It's the thought that counts. And Hi, I'm kicking over
Blaze TV.
Speaker 1 (01:08:16):

Speaker 2 (01:08:34):

didn't say that, didn't I knew.
Speaker 1 (01:08:38):
She was totally on me too. Joshua in the Free
State of Florida.
Speaker 13 (01:08:42):
Joshua, go ahead, Yeah, I was wondering if y'all seen
the video of the woman he was talking about, since
all he's uh, the reporter that they can't eat uh tacos,
And then it pays to a news reporter eating talkers,
say what.
Speaker 7 (01:08:57):
Are you going to do about it?
Speaker 1 (01:08:58):
You know, I couldn't even understand any thing you just said,
not one thing. Could Could you try it again? Joshua?
All I got out of that was tacos? No surprise there.
Speaker 13 (01:09:06):
Yeah, there's there's a there's a woman or a video
of a woman talking about, uh, nobody can eat tacos
anymore because.
Speaker 7 (01:09:16):
They're trying to aford all the Mexicans.
Speaker 14 (01:09:18):
And then it goes to news reporter eating a taco saying,
what are you going to do about it?
Speaker 1 (01:09:24):
No, I have not said. Do you think that's uh
all right? Do you think is that is that a
real thing? You think, Adler? Or do you think it
was a setup?
Speaker 6 (01:09:35):
Well, people are getting online and being all angry about
the deportions that deportations that are occurring, and for some
reason they've wrangled Mexican restaurants into this. So if you
support Trump, you're not allowed to eat at a Mexican restaurant.
Is the recurring theme you see online, which makes no sense.
Speaker 1 (01:09:51):
That really makes zero sense. All right, we'll be back.
Speaker 9 (01:09:58):
This is the Rick Bird just show.
Speaker 1 (01:10:06):
I had dream right, Oh yeah, the have you let
me Warran? Hey, let me let me warn all of
you two, especially you speedy. I don't know how I
got locked into this. It's it's some sort of Instagram thing.
And all it is is airport communications with pilots that
are in trouble. That's all it is. Tough, that's all
(01:10:27):
it is. And I don't know why I can't let
it go. Rick and then the worst ones is when
they'll put their name underneath and they'll and then they'll
let you know they didn't make it.
Speaker 4 (01:10:34):
I know.
Speaker 1 (01:10:35):
And all of a sudden, you'll you'll hear the poem.
I'm declaring the emergency. Okay, what's happened. I've lost my engine?
And I'm like, is he gonna he's gonna make it?
Speaker 12 (01:10:42):
Right?
Speaker 1 (01:10:43):
Okay, Well you've got one rat three of them for you.
I don't think I'm gonna make that. And you hear
that conversation. All right, so we have a there's a
highway near you. I'm not sure that it's it. You know,
it's the best to land on, but that's an I'm
not gonna make that. I'm going down in the field.
And then all of a sudden, let us know if
you get it on the ground, and then I call
(01:11:03):
it to tael number. Do you copy that? And then
underneath it so and so so and so didn't make it. Yeah,
you say that, and you hear the last thing, I'm
not gonna make it. Oh my gosh, anights to know.
I don't know, I don't know what it's called.
Speaker 6 (01:11:19):
I mean, speaking a way, did y'all hear about that
F thirty five fighter jet crashed at Wilson Air Force
Base in Alaska.
Speaker 1 (01:11:25):
Yeah, but the pilot's okay though, right.
Speaker 5 (01:11:27):
He survived. Yeah, yeah, he ejected by crashed.
Speaker 6 (01:11:31):
But I got footage here. You can see his parachute
in the air. Here his plane is just going down
like a leaf falling from a tree.
Speaker 1 (01:11:37):
That's a lot of money, right, Oh wow, And he
survived that exact I mean, here it comes. You can see. Oh,
there he is, I see him. Mah, gracious good. Look
at that right there. That's a post. Oh that's a boy.
That's a picture that you keep right there and you
just sit down at any lunch and like Brian Reagan
(01:11:57):
talked about, this is not quite I went to the moon.
But it's a pretty good to me monster moment. Everybody
said one time, I thought, I like, I try to
tell my Cleveland, Tennessee story, and this guy just pulls
us that that's a good story, y'all. Did landing land right?
The plane's okay?
Speaker 4 (01:12:09):
Right?
Speaker 1 (01:12:10):
Yeah? Did you parachute out? I didn't. I'm sorry. She
never wroughte it up.
Speaker 7 (01:12:13):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:12:13):
Are you are you like eating lunch with skydivers? Have
you ever got dive yeah, yeah, every day. Just about
when I went up, I didn't plan to.
Speaker 1 (01:12:21):
What if you bat you're battling, Should I bail or not?
Can I save it?
Speaker 2 (01:12:25):
Yeah, there's a point where you got that's it.
Speaker 1 (01:12:27):
Yeah, I ain't no, ye, I bet that's great on
your body getting shot out of a plane.
Speaker 13 (01:12:33):
It was good.
Speaker 1 (01:12:34):
No, it's not faces of death. This one's only about airplanes.
Ain't nothing, and a lot of them turn out okay.
But then every now and then, Leonard Skinnard, you did
just just yesterday was a guy and he was by
himself and went in small you know, standard cessing type
things with the propeller. Yeah, and I'll send you here.
(01:12:56):
I'm not gonna make you gotta put it down.
Speaker 2 (01:12:59):
I mean the mistake of watching a guy break down beatboxing.
So that's all I get now.
Speaker 1 (01:13:03):
If you watched something one time and I know, oh
my god, I can't get out of top of the hour.
Speaker 9 (01:13:13):
This is the Rick Burgess show, so speedy.
Speaker 1 (01:13:22):
When I was talking about this instagram about all these
pilots interacting with the tower, uh, he just threw out, Yeah,
just one time, go and check out how to beat box.
And that's all you get now. And yeah, that's on us.
That's terrible.
Speaker 2 (01:13:39):
I threw it in there and the bed was going I.
Speaker 1 (01:13:43):
Where you won't even.
Speaker 2 (01:13:45):
Let me let me clarify here. Yes, so I wasn't looking.
Speaker 1 (01:13:49):
I didn't like, I didn't search how to beatbox. He
was just it showed up on the popular reels.
Speaker 2 (01:13:55):
You clicked on it, and it's a guy that apparently
is really well known, and he splits the screen with
these these people that have this amazing ability to to
do that or make your boys or whatever, and he
reacts to it.
Speaker 1 (01:14:09):
Have you been working on No?
Speaker 2 (01:14:11):
And but it's addictive. You'll start to listen to it
and you're like, well, I got to see another one.
I got to see another one.
Speaker 1 (01:14:17):
Did you feel like do you feel like your beat
box is not up to par? Uh? Well, I could.
Speaker 12 (01:14:27):
Look like.
Speaker 1 (01:14:30):
So it's beatbox? Is that still as popular as it
once was?
Speaker 5 (01:14:35):
That's good?
Speaker 1 (01:14:40):
Working on it a little bit? Working yes, Well, look
the text on they don't miss anything? Well, no, they
don't miss anything. It was I can't believe I let
it go.
Speaker 2 (01:14:52):
Well, it was just the discussion of of clicking on
things and back to your your air traffic control stuff
that now you can't get enough of it.
Speaker 1 (01:15:01):
Just search out to beat box. That's all you're getting. Now.
Speaker 2 (01:15:04):
I make the mistake of watching one of those videos
and and now that's all I get.
Speaker 1 (01:15:10):
Somebody says, so basically, your wife Terry wants you to
grow your hair out and beat box because now I
can't find that horse.
Speaker 16 (01:15:18):
Shoot.
Speaker 5 (01:15:19):
I was wanting to get it for.
Speaker 1 (01:15:22):
I never could.
Speaker 5 (01:15:26):
Some of the good you guys are getting good.
Speaker 1 (01:15:27):
Some of the stuff I've been working on.
Speaker 2 (01:15:29):
Some of the stuff that he plays is really You're like, okay,
is this ai? Can a person really do this?
Speaker 6 (01:15:34):
Well?
Speaker 5 (01:15:35):
The little most simple little beatbox hack that I know,
oh here he goes is just.
Speaker 15 (01:15:42):
And then.
Speaker 5 (01:15:44):
And then put and then put.
Speaker 1 (01:15:48):
So it's not bad.
Speaker 5 (01:16:02):
Guys were good.
Speaker 1 (01:16:05):
We're a real very What if we were to beat boxing?
Here he is, I got what's that bunch of things?
Only acapella? But I think they're adding instruments? Oh yeah, yeah,
what if we were the beatbox Pentatonics?
Speaker 5 (01:16:18):
They have a beatbox guy.
Speaker 1 (01:16:20):
Yeah, but sometimes I think they're adding instruments. He is
like like this guy right here, check this out. Listen
to this he's singing.
Speaker 2 (01:16:30):
He's about to get a gold.
Speaker 1 (01:16:33):
Oh black, Betty, oh black. You can't play back Black
Betty wild that I can't play it. No, you should
be playing that.
Speaker 2 (01:16:50):
I should why Black Betty, Listen, he's about to get
into it, Betty.
Speaker 1 (01:17:00):
This one guy is doing all this. Who's the comment guy?
He's getting on hers a little bit?
Speaker 5 (01:17:08):
Well, yeah, I wish you wouldn't have that.
Speaker 1 (01:17:12):
Now you just messed up today.
Speaker 5 (01:17:16):
I don't think so.
Speaker 1 (01:17:17):
I don't think so that version of Black Betty you
make it by Yeah, I think so. Yeah, I got
skating rink. He's doing more. I'm sorry.
Speaker 17 (01:17:28):
The beats.
Speaker 1 (01:17:30):
Is this guy going through something like a demon.
Speaker 2 (01:17:34):
But but but anyway, they start going and I want
to hear what you know.
Speaker 1 (01:17:37):
It sounds like you're listening to a song and one
person is doing all that. He's crazy. Anyway, I watched one.
Speaker 2 (01:17:42):
Of those and now now it's on my popular real
because then I got to another.
Speaker 1 (01:17:48):
One Google beat box one time. Look at Yeah, I'm
not I can't believe you're letting some of these people
go claiming they're making all this with no it has
to be or something well or track that you're on
top of the stuff. Yeah, and it's how they mix it.
That's good.
Speaker 5 (01:18:08):
Now, if you can what if you can If you
can isolate, that's good.
Speaker 1 (01:18:15):
Okay, what's been watching? And are you saying to this peak.
Speaker 5 (01:18:27):
That doesn't sound like beatboxing?
Speaker 1 (01:18:32):
If you can now no, it's like a German guy.
Speaker 9 (01:18:38):
That's good.
Speaker 6 (01:18:45):
All right, So here's here's Pentatonics and that guyam Okay,
here's what you can do.
Speaker 5 (01:18:53):
If you can isolate your mouth.
Speaker 1 (01:18:55):
When did you become the big box?
Speaker 5 (01:18:57):
And we should talk about this all time?
Speaker 1 (01:18:59):
Okay.
Speaker 6 (01:19:00):
If you can isolate your mouth, and then that frees
up your lungs and diaphragm to actually do the base tones.
So it's like, so that's all mouths again, that's all
mouth and then you can include your lungs.
Speaker 1 (01:19:13):
Check it out. I'm telling you we got a band.
I don't know what we're gonna call it. What about
like you know, I think we should call it a
guy suggested earlier as a rock and roll city album name,
(01:19:33):
but I think we adopted as our name of our band,
Maximum Liberty.
Speaker 5 (01:19:39):
Big Boxers, yeah, or the Boxed Rocks.
Speaker 1 (01:19:50):
There we go, alright, the Police Academy of Police Academy,
the sound Effect. Y'all make fun of him, but you
watch one, you're like, well, I gotta see another one.
I don't remember the guy with the fat boys. He
was known for it. Yes, I remember the fact that
he went on in well, well there's a shocker.
Speaker 7 (01:20:11):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:20:11):
Speaking of that, we got updated. Did you know there's
more footage of dank today, the four hundred and sixty.
Speaker 5 (01:20:21):
Of the guy that reacts where react?
Speaker 1 (01:20:23):
I can't do this guy. I like that this guy,
this is a guy that's making money off just simply
reacting to people with talent.
Speaker 2 (01:20:31):
So apparently he's he's German.
Speaker 1 (01:20:34):
Uh, let's sit here.
Speaker 2 (01:20:35):
You wonder if somebody's sending us all kinds of information
on the guy. And I don't endorse him. I don't
know anything about him. I just he popped up my
mind kind of are on my reels one day and
I had made the mistake of clicking once and now
that thinks that's all I want.
Speaker 1 (01:20:46):
To say, Well, it was the first thing came to
your mind.
Speaker 3 (01:20:48):
World is because he didn't even google beat boss, I
didn't google anything.
Speaker 1 (01:20:53):
I want to be better at it. Bob Pops be
throwing down, Oh can you be box for me? Poppa
looks to watch I'm doing that right now. All right,
we'll be back.
Speaker 5 (01:21:13):
More to come.
Speaker 11 (01:21:15):
Hey hey, yeah like a horn, that's more like a
DJ though. Actually, yeah, I'm about to say something out here.
Speaker 9 (01:21:30):
Listen, this is the Rick Burgess Show.
Speaker 1 (01:21:39):
But now let's get to this mayor. Now tell me
what's going on with this mayor?
Speaker 14 (01:21:42):
All right?
Speaker 1 (01:21:42):
So who was this Who was this person?
Speaker 2 (01:21:44):
Apparently it's a what everybody's labeled to corrupt mayor out
of a town in Illinois. And there was a fight
that broke out. I just saw a little bit of
the video. Uh, a fight broke out and they kind
of zoomed in and the mayor's right in the middle
of it. So the mayor is fighting where Uh So
this is she.
Speaker 6 (01:22:03):
Has been kind of in hiding, reclusive, not around because
it's come out how much money she's wasted, how much
she has spent on her own you know, makeup and
houses and cars and flights and vacations.
Speaker 5 (01:22:15):
The town is not doing well economically.
Speaker 14 (01:22:17):
Uh.
Speaker 6 (01:22:18):
This is Dalton, Illinois, and it's just the level of
corruption is is actually pretty incredible.
Speaker 2 (01:22:24):
Yeah, it's called she's been labeled America's worst mayor.
Speaker 4 (01:22:29):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (01:22:29):
And the brawl erupted in a town meeting act after
an activist called for her removal. Oh, it's a town
meeting and Tiffany Heinyard, I guess, yeah, is the mayor
there in Dalton Village in Illinois.
Speaker 1 (01:22:43):
Where is she? She's okay, yeah, I think that's her,
Thank goodness. Some people have their mask on. Yes, yes,
people are still wearing mask, believe or not. Yeah. And
I haven't gotten into what the audio. Okay, you're good.
Speaker 6 (01:23:00):
Uh, it's a town hall. This one guy has thrown
many zingers her way. Uh, and he's going to just
have an impromptu vote.
Speaker 1 (01:23:09):
Okay, so see what you think?
Speaker 5 (01:23:19):
You go, you go, you going, you go blank? You
going blank.
Speaker 6 (01:23:24):
And so now the boyfriend, the boyfriend is gonna come up.
This is the boyfriend fighting the guy that just spoke.
And then you're gonna see Tiffany, the mayor come in
and her wig is gonna go flying her wig. And
now people are just fighting. She's just winging.
Speaker 1 (01:23:38):
Where's this? I say, her wigging there? It's orange?
Speaker 5 (01:23:41):
It is orange.
Speaker 1 (01:23:42):
Yeah, really stands out.
Speaker 6 (01:23:45):
And I haven't screened the rest of this audio. I'm
gonna turn it down because wow, it is Illinois.
Speaker 1 (01:23:52):
This is a city, all right. So the guy who
called for the vote, we can't see him. But that's
him walking down the owl when it finally does pick
him up, pick up the guy on the camera and
the boyfriend comes in from like a lobby in the back.
He's in the bar. There is there. Ye see you
got it. Her wig go.
Speaker 2 (01:24:08):
Uh did you see her wig go flying in the
middle of pile? Yes, I mean she comes running in fast, right,
So this.
Speaker 1 (01:24:14):
Is the guy okay, and then he takes an impromptu
vote and uh, you go.
Speaker 5 (01:24:21):
All right he says like we're getting rid of her
black blank and all this stuff.
Speaker 1 (01:24:26):
A while.
Speaker 6 (01:24:29):
I'm waiting for that vote because it is hilarious when
he's just like everybody say ay.
Speaker 1 (01:24:33):
And then he said you're you're gone. Here goes there
you go. So now the camera does it. He's that's
him walking to his seat right, yes, Now he sees
the boyfriend who's come in from the lobby bar standing
back there.
Speaker 4 (01:24:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:24:46):
Yeah, Now now they're going at so oh that guy
just got right. What is she doing in there there?
It is sitting in the middle.
Speaker 5 (01:24:56):
Yeah, that old lady needs to stay out.
Speaker 1 (01:24:58):
Yeah, she needs to back.
Speaker 5 (01:25:00):
That guy in a mask is very weak. Yeah, I'm
saying things now.
Speaker 2 (01:25:04):
Rick, and the story you have to they circle, they
circle her head where you can they really zoom in,
and she is in the middle of.
Speaker 1 (01:25:11):
The fire, in the middle of the fighting. The mayor. Yeah,
the mayor.
Speaker 16 (01:25:16):
You go.
Speaker 1 (01:25:16):
Yeah, they're referring to her as y'all just said, is
America's worst mayor? Yeah, that's it. So, so yeah, we
have it. Yep, here she is, okay, and there's her wig. Okay,
there's the wig. It says, really stands out. It's like orange.
Yeah it is. It is a good looking for orange. Well,
(01:25:39):
I see what he called her to. He says that
she just doesn't do her job very well.
Speaker 6 (01:25:44):
Uh, that's basically, she had seven thousand dollars in credit
card seven hundred thousand dollars in credit card charges. She
she shranked the budget from five point six million to
three point six million, so that's two million dollars on
and just a lot of misuse of funds.
Speaker 1 (01:26:04):
Sounds like yeah, And it sounds like that her boyfriend
did not take her getting voted out real well. So
then he comes in to defend her, and because oh wow,
they're saying when he said when he said you're gone,
he added a word at the end of that that
probably led to the fight. It's yeah, it's not good.
He referred to her in a word that you should
(01:26:26):
you know, you call a female. It's not good. Yeah.
Oh yeah, she.
Speaker 5 (01:26:29):
Spent fifty thousand dollars on ice skates.
Speaker 1 (01:26:33):
Say that again, that's not true.
Speaker 5 (01:26:35):
And artificial ice tiles for a winter rink.
Speaker 1 (01:26:39):
Oh okay, I got you. And let's spending and let's spending. Yeah,
well maybe that was a nice of the community.
Speaker 6 (01:26:47):
Oh yeah, she did throw that big like party and
evidently she still owes vendors like five million dollars.
Speaker 5 (01:26:52):
And it's oh wow, this I mean, it's crazy.
Speaker 1 (01:26:55):
Okay, well it's The controversy continues on her miss management
of millions of dollars of the taxpayer money. Uh, and
now they'll have to after this brawl, it says the
mayor allegedly pushed her table aside and rushed toward the chaos.
As we saw, she is seen going into the melee
herself and losing her wig.
Speaker 2 (01:27:17):
That says, you know that wig up, lose you wig?
Speaker 1 (01:27:24):
Right, So speaking, you know, you could you know what
Terry wants you to grow your hair out? You could
just do a wig. Yes, it looks How do we
get to that well, couse, there's a story.
Speaker 2 (01:27:32):
By the way, you thought about my head when you
heard wig.
Speaker 1 (01:27:35):
I thought about you know, can I tell you how
it actually went in my because I don't know if
you've noticed this, I haven't continued to be somewhat surprised
by how many people wear a wig, you know. Yeah, yeah,
I don't want to.
Speaker 13 (01:27:46):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (01:27:46):
I just don't pay attention that much. And then I
realized people wear wigs a lot.
Speaker 5 (01:27:49):
Talking about women.
Speaker 1 (01:27:51):
Yeah, yeah, they wear wigs more than I realized. And
and now, and I was going to ask to do
do the guys who do the really long dreads? Are
those just attached a lot of times? Sh yeah, weave it,
weave it in right, yeah, and so.
Speaker 5 (01:28:06):
Out like three inches and then you got three feet.
Speaker 1 (01:28:08):
Okay, I got you.
Speaker 9 (01:28:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:28:09):
And have you ever had extensions?
Speaker 5 (01:28:12):
No, no, thought about it?
Speaker 8 (01:28:14):
Have you?
Speaker 16 (01:28:15):
No?
Speaker 10 (01:28:15):
No?
Speaker 16 (01:28:15):
No, no no.
Speaker 1 (01:28:17):
Yeah. But I was saying, if you wanted to try hair,
maybe you did. That made me think of you, It did. Yeah.
I started thinking about wigs, and I thought, well, instead
of committing to my hairs growing out, let me try wigs.
See how I look.
Speaker 2 (01:28:31):
Okay, do you remember do you still have that wig
here Adler, Yeah, black one, like I could maybe try it.
Speaker 1 (01:28:36):
Let me see, by the way, that is a good one.
Someone said the mayor's campaign slogan for her next run
is that she'll fight for you, that she's proved that.
So yeah, all right, so Speedy's putting on. I don't
think this is what Terry meant. Yeah, this is a
little longer than probably Terry was looking for.
Speaker 5 (01:28:52):
Pretty cool though, but yeah, you could be in my
band mm hm.
Speaker 1 (01:28:58):
Yeah yeah, now that's uh, maybe she wants a little less. Yeah,
I don't. Yeah, yeah, you need to comb it. It's
very messy. It's very messy. I don't I don't think.
I don't think that's what Terry's hoping for. Cender that
(01:29:18):
and say that what you kind of thinking?
Speaker 5 (01:29:21):
You don't see very much.
Speaker 1 (01:29:22):
You gotta do something about your bangs. Yeah, yeah that's why.
Why does that have that different?
Speaker 5 (01:29:27):
Different stuff?
Speaker 2 (01:29:28):
We were we were gonna give we were gonna get
big boy a beard. Oh yeah, and we were thinking
about doing that. Yeah yeah that's uh, sot me take
a picture. I think that's that's too much. I think
that's going from well nothing to a lot, you know. Speedy, Uh,
you like a multiple guitar players from the eighties. Yeah,
(01:29:49):
you think that has really a little Howard Stern look there?
Good from the text line guitars for the Bullet Boys.
Speaker 1 (01:29:56):
Yeah, John Bond speedy, pretty good. There we go. What
if you want that and we would call you out
on it and you'd say, no, this is real, and
you wouldn't you wouldn't never let in. Yeah. What if
all of a sudden you just started wearing that as
if you we did not see you put it on, Yeah,
and you were like, this is real, this is in fake?
Hey baby?
Speaker 6 (01:30:12):
Well, speaking of that, you guys remember I was when
y'all were a kid. Did y'all see dudes with two pays?
Speaker 10 (01:30:18):
Yes?
Speaker 5 (01:30:18):
You remember that.
Speaker 3 (01:30:19):
I'm not going to call a name, Go ahead, a
friend who's dad? Yeah that that may be the worst
hair piece I've ever seen, and would only wear it
at certain times. It may be completely bald, you know,
except for the horse you and then next time you
saw him he was like dressed up going somewhere. You
have that two painted look like a beaver pelt.
Speaker 1 (01:30:39):
Y'all never understood the I'm not all the way committed
like you'll see me without it you'll see me with it.
I think you either have to wear it once you've
gone that a long with that, just stick with it.
Speaker 3 (01:30:50):
And this was one of those that had the comb
in the back where you have in the back of
your hair, so it was staying in place.
Speaker 1 (01:30:54):
Oh sure, you know, Joe, I'm scared of you.
Speaker 5 (01:30:59):
Guys that war two pays as a kid for some reason.
Speaker 1 (01:31:01):
Scared him, but this scared him. Well, this guy would
scare you. This guy he email business. Yeah, I'm starting
to use that. That's a good look. Stay with that
looks great like that. I said that to Terry. There's
almost a little bit daddies coming home.
Speaker 5 (01:31:16):
Yeah with a wig.
Speaker 1 (01:31:18):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:31:19):
Eighties metal bands like hung around a little too long.
Speaker 1 (01:31:23):
We'll be back fifteen minutes to the top.
Speaker 9 (01:31:33):
This is the Rick Burgess Show, all right.
Speaker 1 (01:31:41):
So then we also, uh this ongoing thing with this
rapper who is current big dank and weighs four hundred
and sixty something pounds. Yeah, when she says she's for
sixty nine, that means she's over for seventy. Yeah. Okay, no, no,
one ways for sixty nine. Oh okay, great point. Yeah,
(01:32:01):
wait a minute, easy.
Speaker 6 (01:32:04):
We can't play any of this audio. But here she
is wrapping in one of her music videos. Guys, and
it's that tailgates got all it's canna handle.
Speaker 1 (01:32:10):
Yeah, and this is this is what the lift driver
I think, was concerned about. That's the s u V.
She can't get in.
Speaker 5 (01:32:16):
So much less.
Speaker 1 (01:32:17):
I can't find I really would like to hear it wrapping, right,
Why showing it?
Speaker 12 (01:32:27):
Somebody?
Speaker 1 (01:32:28):
What's the doll? Looks like her booty?
Speaker 5 (01:32:29):
Oh that's that's astounding.
Speaker 1 (01:32:34):
But I have to sit down in a hatchback to around. Listen,
she ain't got nobody did not the world? No, seriously,
straight up. You know when you see when you see
the michelin Man's legs, Yes, it's the same. It's the
(01:32:55):
same thing. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:32:57):
I mean it's part of a disturbing trend.
Speaker 1 (01:33:00):
Somebody watched the Dog release.
Speaker 5 (01:33:03):
It was the dog, it was the director. Somebody say, cuts.
Speaker 2 (01:33:08):
Dog candler, the doll, the dog handler.
Speaker 1 (01:33:12):
My goodness, where's Kirk kurb Street when you need him?
I mean, this is Oh my I'm large and I'm
gonna wear yoga pants? Right? How about that? First of all,
how do you find them? Let me tell you that
if I was the lyft driver in court, I would
go everybody, just judge, just watch this.
Speaker 3 (01:33:29):
Yeah, I apologize to me, Yeah, I apologize to me.
Now you don't think my car was in trouble?
Speaker 1 (01:33:34):
Low profile? Oh my, oh goodnight? Look at that? Who
have your old gosh?
Speaker 5 (01:33:39):
I don't know what that hands on?
Speaker 1 (01:33:40):
No, I'll tell you. Oh my gosh, Hey final find
Oh no, back bowser, get back. We've tried to train
our dogs.
Speaker 2 (01:33:50):
Now when we have guests come over now, oh my goodness, No, no, no,
they're curious.
Speaker 14 (01:33:57):
Can't be.
Speaker 6 (01:33:58):
When he was a puppy, he was a skirt if
you know what I mean, like, don't be wearing a
skirt around Kevin.
Speaker 1 (01:34:02):
He would go in all the way you're speaking for
first hand experience.
Speaker 5 (01:34:06):
Yes, i'd apologize.
Speaker 1 (01:34:09):
To tell you. Wasn't like I wore one killed.
Speaker 5 (01:34:12):
I did it once and that was it. This is
part of a disturbing trend.
Speaker 6 (01:34:16):
Here's there's another famous rapper named Dave Blunts and he
weighs over five hundred pounds.
Speaker 1 (01:34:22):
He came down on a couch in an arena.
Speaker 5 (01:34:26):
Yeah, do we not?
Speaker 1 (01:34:26):
Are we not concerned about this?
Speaker 5 (01:34:28):
And he's on oxygen during the performance?
Speaker 1 (01:34:31):
Do we not care about an oxygen tank? Why don't
we care about him? I don't get it.
Speaker 9 (01:34:38):
The top of the hour, this is the Rick Burgess Show.
Speaker 1 (01:34:49):
Say when Pete Heg Sith was talking about we need
our military to get in line, and we need to
get to where we can win wars again and and
peace through strength, you know that fires you up. When
you get to the RFK thing, You're kind of like,
should we be healthier? I guess yeah, I mean, isn't it.
But I mean that doesn't feel the same way. I'm
done for you. Well, I know that. I'm just telling
(01:35:12):
it's not red ink, it's red dye.
Speaker 13 (01:35:14):
But the.
Speaker 1 (01:35:18):
Well you and I wanted to get rid of red
ink throughout our whole school experience. So Adler here is here.
Here is some comments on this. Megan Kelly, she she's
talking about r F K Jr. Because I wonder how
bad they're treating him because he is a Kennedy but
he but he went with Trump, so that makes him. Now, yeah,
(01:35:42):
he's fair game. Even his own family doesn't like I
don't like him about that. Barry got that got ran
over right. I'm sure that's in there. He's an interesting cat.
Let's just say. So here here's what Megan Kelly says, though,
regardless of all that, here's all that matters. So here
we go.
Speaker 19 (01:36:00):
There's no question in the women lane and a lot
of lanes you could land some blows. But my overall feeling,
and I think the feeling of a lot of people
who are pro MAHA or MAHA adjacent or at least
interested in what's happening over in that lane, is we
don't care.
Speaker 5 (01:36:16):
We want somebody to.
Speaker 19 (01:36:17):
Get the bad food dies out of the food, the
things that have been banned out of our makeup for
thirty years because of their carcinogens. We want somebody who's
going to stop the revolving door at the FDA. So
all these people are, you know, telling us that oxy
conton is not addictive because they want to land a
job with the drug maker who makes you like that's
the stuff. We know he will fight. So it's I
(01:36:37):
kind of approach this not the way I would have
as a Fox News anchor ten years ago, like.
Speaker 4 (01:36:42):
Ah oh he did what, No, it's like, who cares?
Speaker 1 (01:36:48):
Okay, see that the great.
Speaker 2 (01:36:51):
Ry, that's what he got out of it. He was
focused on that guy far right.
Speaker 1 (01:36:55):
Yeah, unlike you. I never noticed him. But I wanted
to just though, you know, you know, when you're talking
about though somebody and he's going to be that. There's
a lot of things that he is talking about that
are important. I totally agree on it and we need
to deal with it. But then there's almost just that
little bit of concern, just a little just a little
(01:37:18):
bit rises up in you that he could be a
kill joy. I mean, before you know what, he's taking
everything away from us. Yeah, before you.
Speaker 5 (01:37:28):
Well, you have to be careful.
Speaker 1 (01:37:29):
And anytime you allow this stuff to start, the government
usually never knows where to stop. Before you know it,
he's like, you feel good about that waffle? Yeah, And
I'm like it could be unhealthy. I don't need a
w awful much, but I'd like to eat one every
now and then. You know, you should feel good about that. Yeah,
you know what's in that waffle?
Speaker 8 (01:37:45):
You know.
Speaker 1 (01:37:46):
And then before you know it, it's like, you know,
we start out with the things we all agree on
that we think, yeah, that's bad, but you got to
be careful. That just just a little bit of a
little overstep. He's a little bit of the guy that
can come to the party. Next thing, you know, he
says the music is too loud. You know, he got exactly,
we're going to tone it down first, you know, first
of all, he comes in to be sure nobody drives
(01:38:07):
home drunk, and you go, hey, we're all on board.
Yeah good. Then the next thing, you know, and the
music's a little loud, and I'm like, shoes back on?
Speaker 10 (01:38:15):
Right?
Speaker 1 (01:38:15):
Yeah? Why why don't you have your shoes on? You know,
don't walk outside without him. It's dangerous, you know, Nail, right,
Just I'm just, I'm just, I'm just I'm just I'm
I'm you know, cautiously optimistic. And I do think that
you know, we are. We are not a very healthy country,
there's no doubt about that. But you just but you
just have to be just a little bit careful. He
(01:38:36):
to Dan.
Speaker 6 (01:38:36):
He's already fielding questions and making statements, and the clips
are making the way to the internet.
Speaker 5 (01:38:41):
Do you want to hear a quick clip from him?
Speaker 1 (01:38:42):
Sure, It's not like I don't mean to be mean.
I just gon't know how long he's setting.
Speaker 5 (01:38:49):
I really not.
Speaker 6 (01:38:51):
This is at one point five speeds so that y'all
can actually handle it. It is sped up because of
his voice problem.
Speaker 18 (01:38:57):
The same chemicals that kill fish, make people set. Also,
today American's overhall health is in grievous condition. Over seventy
percent of adults and a third of children are overweight
or obese. Diabetes is ten times more prevalent than it
was during the nineteen sixties. Cancer young people is rising
by one or two percent.
Speaker 5 (01:39:13):
I can't he makes some good points. He was about
to finish the point.
Speaker 1 (01:39:17):
It's all no, no, everything. Can we not get a spokesperson?
Can we not have like Ken Osborn speak for him?
Speaker 2 (01:39:25):
Yeah, you know, two minutes of listening to him are
twenty burpies.
Speaker 1 (01:39:28):
I'll go with twenty burpees. Wow, at least that'll be
over quicker.
Speaker 6 (01:39:33):
Okay, Well, his point was the US has worse health
than any developed nation, and yet we spend more than
everybody else.
Speaker 1 (01:39:39):
No, good, look, I'm just talking about what's wrong with
the spokesperson. I don't know, Rick, What if he does
the research, he gives us the information and con Ken
Osman goes says, the rise and diabetes in our country
is alarming, and here are the facts to support that.
And RFK just sits next to him and nods, Yeah,
(01:40:00):
that's right. I like Larry Patches to be his voice.
Speaker 5 (01:40:05):
Or Sam Elliott.
Speaker 1 (01:40:07):
Yeah, him, he almost sounds like Hank. Okay, you know
what that future smell?
Speaker 9 (01:40:15):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:40:16):
Sorry, Larry, No, Larry's great. But I think if we're
going to make a voice move, I'd like to. I'd
like to. There have I got other options?
Speaker 19 (01:40:25):
You know?
Speaker 1 (01:40:25):
Then there's good diabetes. This country is crazy as Carolyn,
you know what I mean?
Speaker 18 (01:40:30):
Do we want that?
Speaker 10 (01:40:31):
No?
Speaker 1 (01:40:31):
I guess that's the Canadian Mounted Police.
Speaker 2 (01:40:35):
He does kind of make you breathe another challenge going
from a mounty and he wishes he didn't have it,
you know he didn't have what Yeah, I mean it's
a struggle.
Speaker 1 (01:40:46):
It really is. Takes my breath away a little. But
you know, giving long speeches is required a lot of
times when you kind of walk this out and uh.
And it doesn't mean that he is less knowledgeable. It's
just no, I'm not going to sit here and pretend
that that voice isn't hard to listen to start anything personally,
(01:41:07):
just it's just a fact you don't hear what he
says because you get to concentrate. It's almost like we're
being asked to let someone sing that can't sing, and
we can never say they can't sing. Yeah, we got
to sit through the whole song. We can't go where
their voice is not pleasant. I'd rather than not sing.
Would you interview him? How long? Eight minute segment? I can't. No,
(01:41:27):
you don't think you put laid off? I can't? Can
I can? I do things like, hey, rf k thank
you for being on with this in three words? Tell
me the problem with the Red Knight. You can't sing it.
Speaker 5 (01:41:41):
That three words?
Speaker 1 (01:41:46):
Five five words?
Speaker 5 (01:41:48):
Chronically ill children?
Speaker 1 (01:41:50):
Okay, please look, let's say he's obviously already been loves
and it's a great one. Let me say what that
text bud Fire They it's like every It's like every
single person that texts this show somehow is filtereath through Greg.
Somehow they're texting on his behalf. So but but his
(01:42:12):
knowledge and the right in the middle of it.
Speaker 9 (01:42:15):
Yeah yeah, oh yeah, uh.
Speaker 1 (01:42:17):
Huh, Mad Meyer is a spokesperson. That's not about it.
I would work all right, Well, first of all, let
me say, wrote tide. Secondly, uh a Crimson die would
be fine, but red all it's not even correct. I
wrote day.
Speaker 9 (01:42:37):
