going to ever be home.

it a couple more times because right the way doing good.

Yeah, it's you know, I've often I guess with a check.
I understand, but I've noticed when you leave the check
world that we need you there and we don't care

I'm hearing rumors that on the twenty fifth, seriously, of
the of last month, on the twenty fifth, a day
or two before my flight, they changed some policy with
like any kind of powered rideable thing at all.

Then how'd you get them a plane going?

How did I get through TSA twice?

How did I get on three planes before that, this
being my fourth plane to get on. That's what a
pilot told me that at one point, and I think
a texture actually texted us at one point that, Okay,
so I bought these tickets like.

Nine months ago, So that's that you could have told me.

And it's supposedly even like powered wheelchairs, they're not letting
people through on anymore. So I don't know, so maybe
that's a rideable any kind of rideable device thing.

Of course, there's those. Have you guys seen those suitcases
that are powered You can just sit down on your
suitcase and just like hold the handle and go.

I'd like to see you on.

Sometimes people use them for kids, but I've seen like
little Chinese women demonstrating them online.

Mm hmmm. That sounded weird, But yeah, you just had that.

You had to be had to make them. You know,
do you specify them? Did you You remember when we
were doing the Sports show and we rode uh battery
powered coolers?

Yeah, yeah, you gotta watch it had fun. I don't
need no con my suitcase. Well, the thing that baffles
us about your whole situation is how many levels you
had already gotten and you were already on the plane
and they came and pulled you off the plane. That's
what was weird. It seems like there're so many layers
prior to where you were. They should have caught this

if it was really a problem. Yeah, I mean, you're
I love. I was talking to Adler. He's that. He thought,
you're thinking about how you can't have anything. He thought, Okay,
I have made it all the way back. I'm on
the plane, I'm sitting down in my seat and we're
about here we go. We're about to taxi off, and
here come somebody want to know whose bored is?

You have nothing? The best part is they kept sending
him back like he was clear. The walk a shame
again in front, you know what.

The man, you know where the manager waiting. He goes, no,
I said, I want that skateboard right now, go get
it right right. There's a lot of back and forth.
I got on the plane several times.

Speaker 9 (09:16):
Uh put the the skateboard up back in the overhead
container a couple of times or whatever it's called.

Speaker 7 (09:22):
Uh, y'all, there was there's nothing there.

Speaker 8 (09:24):
That's a horrible feeling and I even said it in
the jetway At one point, I just go because because
I was like, all right, I disconnected, let's go, you know, okay, no,
that's done enough, take the whole battery out, take the
battery car, let's go.

You know, I'm just trying to get going.

I felt like I was feeling much more urgent than
any other employee involved, by the way, I think, yeah,
and I said.

In the tunnel, there I go.

This is so embarrassing, Like it was so embarrassing that
everybody on the plane knew.

Two hundred people are just looking at you.

Did you ever turn around and announced it to the plane? Hey, guys,
I know this looks bad. I wanted to, but it
was you didn't want to have the floor.

to tell y'all?

Yeah, flowing with this like thirty times for some reason,
this is the issue today right now?

There was some mutterings like four times in four days
of flow, what are they doing? You know, mutterings, But
I never really had the floor and felt like, you know,

But you know, guys, just looking back, thinking about the
memories skateboarding with Kevin with that chains behind, and I
skated on the streets of New York City with that thing, uh,
the Gulf of America, right along the beach there, and
then over this in LA this past weekend.

Rode wrote it right on the beach there, and now
some guys strip I rode that thing everywhere, and it's

I thought you were a man. I said, wow, I
like to think that I am. She said, well, Rick
Berger said, Burger men don't run in the rain. And
I said, you know what, honey, your soul right, Rick
Burger is right, Yes, she calls you Rick Berger. It
made my day, Rick, Rick Burger said, that's one more

right right here. So I've always wondered how much work
goes on after the show. Do y'all get to call
a day around round lunch?

You know, that's a.

Terribly hard question because the day it's well, what has
to be done that day? So some days for Adler,
his are a little more uniform because there's things that
he has to do every day. So guys, y'all correct
me if I'm not telling this right. But when this
thing first ends, we immediately all go into commercials that

need to be cut. That'll that will run the next
few days. That's the next thing we do, and that
can vary in length. Adler immediately moves into archives galore,
the audio archive of the day, the video archive of
the day, best of video of the day, best of
our audio of the day. So that's right outa you

jump right into all that right as new as the
show ends. It's all archive world for you. And that
can take How long do I mean it takes?

Speaker 7 (13:31):
Yeah, it depends on the day.

Speaker 8 (13:33):
Wednesday with the Bible study, my days are going to
be a little bit longer. Thursday with the podcast a
little bit longer, and then Friday kind of preparing for
everything that.

That goes live over the weekend a little bit longer. Yeah.

So usually from what I can gather watching like if
it's just if it's a normal day, meaning there's not
some meeting that's not in the normal day, which those happen,
sometimes it looks like that Adler, it looks like you're
long day. Looks like it goes somewhere to probably Tewish, yeah,

uh huh, and uh Speedy and Greg there's looks like
it goes maybe to lunch maybe a little rarely after.

It depends on what has to be done here because
a lot of my stuff I leave the studio. But yeah, yeah, yeah,
Terry gets on me sometimes I'm I'm emailing or stuff
at eight o'clock at night, you know. So some things
you can do away from here. So it really depends
on what's holding you here that day and and what's
done and what's not done.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
Yeah, so it but there's all kinds of Greg's got
to make sure all the commercials are recorded, got to
make sure they're all loaded into the log for the
next day. Speedy is sending promos to people pulling spots
to get to clients. You know that you know, that
proved that they're they're you know, their spot was on

and what it sounded like.

Speaker 1 (14:58):
Uh, there may be a meeting.

Speaker 2 (14:59):
Like yesterday day, Speedy and I sit down and talked
to a new client that's starting. We're gonna about to
do a year contract with us. So that took what
about an hour? And then of course you never know,
like when I'm I'm getting the Bible study ready, like
like Adler's talking about, that's gonna be a longer day
because and then if I've got meetings, like right now,

I've been negotiating a lot of contracts. So I've been
up here till four and five.

Speaker 1 (15:25):
So and then Greg and I every week like so
for the affiliates and everything that run the weekend show,
there's the best of weekend shows, and so we get
that ready. We we kind of work together on the
commercial side, and then and then also edit all the
audios that have to play for the weekend show. So
every every week we're working after the show too, together

(15:48):
getting that prepared and uploads, so we have to upload
to the who sends it out on the weekends. We
have to upload that to them by by Thursday.

Speaker 2 (15:56):
And don't forget too, we also are working on the
man Church stuff. Yeah, so that that that's a whole
lot of line is do you'll get off at ten?

Speaker 1 (16:06):
No?

No, no. As a matter of fact, I don't think
there is a day that is shorter for me than
probably twelve twelve hours is about a normal day. So
and for everybody else it's probably ten to twelve every time.
So so there you go.

And like I said, it's it's tough because and Terry
had to learn this a long time ago because she
when she when we got married, I was already doing
the show, you know, but when you have flexible hours,
you always have to be available. So you know, there's
things that require we're here, like in other words, we
have to touch stuff and and do things. But then
when we leave, we don't stop. I mean, you know,

we work all day, either phone calls or emails, booking
guests or talking to affiliates or clients or whatever. And
that's that. But that's fine. I mean, that's that's not
a problem. I mean, technologies gotten to where now you
can email on your phone and everything else. It used
to be you had to sit at a desktop and
you couldn't leave, you know.

Speaker 2 (17:06):
Yeah, and what we and we do too you because
to try to be present. I mean I'll have times
where I'm like, all right, I stayed at the office
because my wife prefers. I'd rather you stay there and
then come home and be done. But sometimes you can't.

Speaker 1 (17:19):
You can't do that.

But I will sometimes say I am done, and I
won't respond to anything. You know, It's like I might
on a date with my wife or that I'm home
or something. But so so you can go into the cocoon.
But but because the day starts for us so early,
I mean, you're not gonna there's no way you're gonna
get everything done. We have to be done in less

than ten hours, right, you know, I mean, and it's
usually most of my days are more like twelve.

So so isn't it fun? Though Terry was talking about
the work environment we have here. Oh, it's just it's
just a blast around here, though.

Yeah, it's it is as there's nothing that there's things
in this line of work that you're you don't like
as much as other things. But when you're doing what
you love, like say, I mean, this is this is
a this is a joy to get to come do this,
and and there's I don't I don't I don't dread

a day. There may be days that you know, you
you have one particular thing that you have to do
that you're not that thrilled about. But yeah, the hours
don't fill long until you get home and sit down, you.

he just doesn't want you touching with his heinee or

uh and jac, said at one POINT i was literally
laying on. Him now you, understand he's in his work, clothes,
bank you, know just dressed business, casual and he has
got just hair all over, him, slobbery his pants are soaking.

and he has worn out and he's like finally the vet,
said all, right that's. It we can't, really we can't do.
Anything and and so he sent him. Home and you
talking ABOUT i can't believe there's some never get that.

before y'all, come here's here's. This here's this pill kind
of LIKE i guess his anxiety stuff like stories and. Stuff,
