just didn't like it was never.
Speaker 2 (02:35):
It was never like an in between, Like I don't care.
It was either I hate that song or it was
Man that means that's thanksgiving to me. I love it.
It was never it was never just an in between.
Uh whatever you hate it.
Speaker 5 (02:49):
Yeah, people are sending up something reviling about it. Yeah replacement, Oh.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
I know, and we've had those for years.
Speaker 5 (02:56):
And I think that's a great idea.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
Send us really send them to Adler, don't say send us,
send them to We would we would play.
Speaker 6 (03:05):
The God you Love them so much, we would play
the Gobble Gobble song. And every year people would still
send us replacements and we never even entertained it.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
Never did And I don't think the if y'all didn't
like Gobble Gobble, we're not going to play anything Gobble Gobble.
Like what if we.
Speaker 5 (03:23):
Can do like an acoustic life version of it? Yeah,
with backing band and everything, really really flash it out. Yeah,
the epic song that it's always you know, had the
potential to be.
Speaker 2 (03:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (03:39):
Yeah, So it's no worries for those of you don't
like it and not playing it. That's when I've been
entertaining it. I'm just saying.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
It's like people are happy about it.
Speaker 6 (03:46):
It's Thanksgiving weight and I was I was talking to
Dad yesterday and have a big weekend to recap and
and just kind of going over Thanksgiving and and and so.
Uh and it looks a little different with cousin Lisa
in the mixture. You know, she's uh in the mix.
She's she's living with mom and dad since ant Lee
passed away. Its hard to believe it's been a year
(04:09):
coming up here at Christmas.
Speaker 5 (04:11):
Yeah, we were all hunting.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
Yeah, yeah, we were there.
Speaker 5 (04:13):
We were and you were like, but guys, think I
gotta go.
Speaker 6 (04:17):
If you really want to know exactly what happened. Uh,
And I know all of you do. I was the
furthest away that you could possibly be from camp House.
A matter of fact, I dropped everybody off to get
to where I was going. Now Gary would be upset
because we drove the deesel side by side, just right through.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
The middle of everything. I still saw dear and and.
Speaker 6 (04:37):
Brody Burgess says, oh, my goodness, and this it's that
big deer that did walked right through the greenfield and
he didn't get it, and he said, speedy, it's headed
right to you. So now I'm looking because it's just oh,
it's just pretty. You got hardwood off to the left
of the greenfield that you can see through by one
hundred yards, So I'm looking for anything. And then the
(04:57):
phone rings, and uh, and everything changed that my aunt
Lee had passed away, and so obviously that changed everything.
And then I had to get on, get on out
of there and get to Huntsville. But it's been a
year and so cousin Lisa uh is with us. And
so the plan now is that I'm just going to
go up there, spend the night before Thanksgiving, and we're
(05:18):
just going to drive from there to Sturgis.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
Just it's just it's just easier and then Terry and
and all the kids and all that.
Speaker 6 (05:24):
Will be headed on over. But uh, looking forward to it.
Love this time of year, just family and everything. It
can be stressful.
Speaker 7 (05:32):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
And so we we are.
Speaker 6 (05:33):
Talking out loud at at at at home of We're
not going to allow it to be stressful.
Speaker 2 (05:37):
Let's not braise it.
Speaker 6 (05:39):
Yeah, of course the house looks like a Hallmark movie.
Speaker 8 (05:43):
Oh you know, I'm sure I'll get thrown into that
this weekend after Thanksgiving.
Speaker 6 (05:48):
Yeah, you know, it looks like one of those. Uh,
she's pretty much done.
Speaker 5 (05:51):
I have.
Speaker 6 (05:53):
I have put my foot down and said we're gonna
wait on the outside, and she's.
Speaker 2 (05:57):
Like, okay, that's fine.
Speaker 6 (05:59):
So I told her big, well, you know, you can
go too early out there. And when I mean that
is I'm normally the outside guy. And she's like, okay,
if we'll just let's just get the inside, you know, done.
Speaker 2 (06:09):
And then on Thanksgiving weekend I'll throw the outside up.
So that's the that's the plan.
Speaker 5 (06:15):
Are you guys generally the I don't know, you're generally
the outside guy, right, all things.
Speaker 8 (06:20):
I put all the trees up, and Lisa decorates them
because she don't like the way I decorate them. I'm
a guy who comes and if they if they're not
pre lit, I put the lights on them.
Speaker 5 (06:30):
But as far as like even like yard care all
during the year. Do you guys get any help out
from the outside. No, yeah, you get help outside.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
Well I pay for it.
Speaker 5 (06:40):
Oh, I'm talking about like from within the house. But
I don't get help either. I just want to know
it's fine. I'm just wondering if anybody else.
Speaker 6 (06:50):
I love when Terry will say not meaning it, I
can cut, you know, And I'm like, if I ever
turned around, go for it. You know, she would probably
do it. I'm not saying she all fruit through and
won't get outside. I just handle the outside.
Speaker 8 (07:03):
Yeah, Lisa does all the plants and stuff. Yeah, I'm
real good at that.
Speaker 2 (07:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (07:08):
Yeah, the pots on the front porch I can't touch. Now,
She'll go get them and go, hey, can we let's
put him in there? Uh, but this year she I
came home and they were already done.
Speaker 8 (07:17):
We'll have a little metal bench, Oh yeah out there,
Oh yeah, mom sitting in it or pump.
Speaker 2 (07:23):
Of course, we'n't even past that. Now I had a
right into Christmas.
Speaker 5 (07:28):
Look, yeah, I had an herb garden for a little while.
Speaker 2 (07:30):
Really illegal.
Speaker 5 (07:32):
It's not that kind of her.
Speaker 2 (07:35):
But it's off back in his new toxic exactly. Helicopters
flying and they're really growing. Unbelievable.
Speaker 5 (07:43):
It looks like bamboo out there.
Speaker 2 (07:46):
Why are they up to your shoulders already?
Speaker 5 (07:49):
This was early on in Kevin's life. My dog, oh boy,
he would run out there and pee on my herb
guard what And I'm like, dude, that's the old only place.
That's the only stuff I'm gonna eat. That's the only
stuff i'm gonna eat that's out here, and you're peeing
on it.
Speaker 2 (08:10):
Mine just killed like brush bushes, like boxwood. There's no
chance around my dog.
Speaker 5 (08:18):
No, it's like pour an acid on it.
Speaker 2 (08:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (08:20):
So that I was like, you know what, I guess
I'll just have to get an elevated you know, one
of those raised beds. It's like a trough on you know,
on whatever.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
Whenever we take.
Speaker 5 (08:29):
That's next.
Speaker 6 (08:30):
Whenever cut cutting on the walk, you know, they got
to hike their leg on anything. And there's there's a
stretch of pines left and right. They're young, but this
is where I would assume all the codes run through.
Now you'll see about one hundred rabbits, you know when
when it's that time of year. But he'll hike his
leg on about every other tree he'll liven. He even
(08:52):
hiked his leg on like a property post, you know,
like they're marking property. And my buddy, I don't know
that that and hiking so much by a round five minutes,
there's nothing coming.
Speaker 9 (09:02):
Out of you.
Speaker 6 (09:03):
Yeah, and I'm like a big guy, there's nothing coming
out miming it. It's like he looks at me with
his ears back going. I understand, but I got to
I'm like, I don't even think you're like trinkling out.
Speaker 8 (09:13):
Every delivery truck that stops in my house. And there's
a lot of them. Yeah, Buddy runs out and peas
on it, everyone.
Speaker 5 (09:18):
Of them on the truck.
Speaker 2 (09:19):
On the tires.
Speaker 5 (09:20):
Oh that's goodness, that's assault.
Speaker 8 (09:23):
Yeah, he said, Oh he's a thread. Don't let a
tire get in near him. He'll bite it or pee
on it.
Speaker 5 (09:27):
One now in the vandalism something. Now the next.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
Sentence, Greg goes, well, I dont understand why everybody's scared
of the dogs. They're just peeing on you tire, right, No, Greg,
they're peeing and biting the tires.
Speaker 8 (09:41):
We buy the tires when you're leaving or coming that
you know you're in there, you're driving when he's biting
the tea, don't bite the tires.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
He peas on them when you're just that walking around.
Speaker 5 (09:49):
So the tires aren't a threat until they're moving.
Speaker 6 (09:54):
You watch it, you know, in their little group of
two ways and networks and stuff.
Speaker 2 (09:58):
So when they're leaving your long driveway, they're like.
Speaker 5 (10:00):
I survived, I got out.
Speaker 3 (10:03):
One was fighting.
Speaker 2 (10:05):
You'll see the video of how Milly does that spin.
Speaker 8 (10:08):
Oh yeah, it's unbelievable how fast she spent she does
that when the cars going, she spends beside it till
it clears the day.
Speaker 2 (10:16):
Yeah, I understand.
Speaker 5 (10:16):
Yeah, all the delivery drivers are like I just left
the gauntlet them headed out north.
Speaker 2 (10:20):
Now, yeah, yeah, I survived it.
Speaker 5 (10:23):
But it's basil and like mint and rosemary ground.
Speaker 2 (10:27):
What do you use that as steaks?
Speaker 5 (10:28):
And pastas and with.
Speaker 3 (10:31):
Well, now, yes, here's the Rick Burger's Show.
Speaker 2 (10:40):
Give it a little bit of recap of that. We
got a lot of football to discuss, and you know,
we kind of got through this past weekend. There were
some decent games.
Speaker 1 (10:49):
Uh.
Speaker 6 (10:50):
Usc Organ was pretty good one Organ one uh, and
you know at times other games were decent. But I
just I didn't really a I wouldn't buy the TV,
but I didn't really give it much.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
I didn't give it was not a football weekend from now.
Speaker 6 (11:04):
We were all surviving this past weekend to get to
what we really wanted to see, and that's this coming
weekend where it's a ton of rivalry's games. You got
Ohio State, who in the latest AP poll is still
at number one, but they got Michigan, the team they
can't seem to beat, and so that's going to be
an interesting game. They're at Michigan, who's number fifteen. They're
(11:29):
quietly just kind of hanging out.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
You know. I know somebody brought that up. I watched
a little bit of Game Day and they were talking
about that.
Speaker 8 (11:34):
Yad, Look they have quietly, you know, yeah, put themselves
in a position.
Speaker 6 (11:39):
Indiana retains it number two. They have Purdue. They were
off this past weekend Texas A and M. They beat Samford,
who's right here in Birmingham, Alabama, where we're based, forty
eight to nothing that one. But they got Texas now
and they're at Texas number sixteen. They're at number three.
(11:59):
They they retained that spot. Georgia is once again at
number four. They beat Charlotte pretty bad. They got Georgia
Tech and who almost came back and beat Pittsburgh. That
might have been the other really good game. They were
trying to come back. They just couldn't. It couldn't happen there.
So then at number five, Oregon, as I said, they
moved up one spot. They beat USC forty two to
(12:22):
twenty seven. But it was a good game, and they
played Washington coming up this weekend. All miss they dropped one,
but they were off because they have the egg Bawl
this coming Friday at eleven am Central at Mississippi State.
Speaker 8 (12:37):
Now, listen a lot going on around that and gonna
make the big announcement Saturday.
Speaker 2 (12:40):
Right, what do you think that's about?
Speaker 10 (12:42):
You know?
Speaker 2 (12:42):
He My point is is stay catching them right.
Speaker 6 (12:45):
Well astracted they could they could, you know, it was
kind of interesting because you hear all. But then there
was reputable like news sources like Yahoo Sports and others
that claim that that LSU's already offered him like ninety million,
like the highest paid at like some of it's sick
ridiculous deal and you're like, okay, is that real or not?
(13:05):
And then you start looking and then on X it's
like these Twitter handles that claim they know and then
you start looking at it and it's like what they
don't really know? But Lane Kiffen met with the A
D and they had a long meeting and and said that.
And ad Evan is the one that said that there'll
be an announcement after the egg Bowl game because he
out of respect to the team, he wanted to get
through the egg Bowl. But do you think they're just
(13:27):
going to announce an extension and he's just going to
stay there.
Speaker 8 (13:32):
I'm Phil Idams one that I heard people debating it.
I got a fit. I could be wrong.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
I think he's going to stay. I do, yeah.
Speaker 6 (13:39):
I mean because the news out of Oxford, Mississippi as
they're ready to match anything.
Speaker 2 (13:45):
Anybody has to keep him. If he says he's leaving,
do you let him stay and coach to the playoffs.
Well here you see what I'm saying.
Speaker 6 (13:53):
Yeah, And here's the here's the here's the deal here, Greg,
Because ultimately you want to win championships and all this
kind of stuff. The Ole miss Rebels are sitting here
at ten and one, they're number six in the nation.
Speaker 2 (14:05):
I mean, how much better do you want it? I mean,
you're right there, you know.
Speaker 6 (14:11):
Yeah, if you beat Missispi State and the Egg Bowl,
it'll be the first eleven win season in program history.
Speaker 2 (14:16):
Yeah. So I mean I think you kind of got
something going on there, so why would you? But I
don't know. LSU's pretty intriguing. Uh, you know, but that's
the rumor.
Speaker 5 (14:25):
Now.
Speaker 6 (14:25):
Now, now you just make of it what you want,
because nobody really knows. I love all these people that
claim they do, but we're not going to be one
of those because we.
Speaker 2 (14:33):
Don't listen on any of this.
Speaker 8 (14:36):
Yeah, but thinking back his career, do you think Lang
Kevin should be the high speed coach in Kashaba?
Speaker 2 (14:45):
I mean I'm not saying he shouldn't be.
Speaker 8 (14:47):
Yeah, Well you tell them about you time about up
there in like Saban World.
Speaker 2 (14:52):
I mean, hey, herby smart World. But you know.
Speaker 6 (14:56):
It leverages everything and right now he's just got it.
He's got he is, he's got it. And uh, I
guess if they want to currently go after the best
that's available or that.
Speaker 2 (15:06):
That might have a chance. And you know the other Uh,
the other rumor I'm loving.
Speaker 6 (15:11):
Too is it's all over social media, is that Debor
is actually leaving.
Speaker 2 (15:15):
He's gonna go to Penn State. I've heard that.
Speaker 6 (15:16):
And Kiffin's gonna go to Bama. Oh okay, they're just
gonna everybody's just gonna move around.
Speaker 2 (15:21):
That's the other. That's the other one. That everything. And
what I love too is that people claim, no, this
is real.
Speaker 8 (15:26):
Yeah, I know somebody my inside source.
Speaker 2 (15:31):
Yeah, they always got this guy that knows. And uh,
I don't know. Yeah, like I said, if that really happens,
and we're all look like an idiot. But Kiffin makes
what now about nine million a year.
Speaker 6 (15:41):
I'm not sure he gets paid well. And he even said, hey,
I get paid so much. Now it's not about money,
because why don't you.
Speaker 8 (15:48):
Say, old mess and go that money you were going
to add to mine, go buy me some players.
Speaker 5 (15:52):
Yeah it's nine a year.
Speaker 2 (15:54):
I'll keep my nine And what y'all are playing on
both me about four more. Y'all just take that and
buy me some players.
Speaker 5 (15:59):
Right, he's tied for tenth highest among college coaches. Well
so he's in the top ten.
Speaker 6 (16:06):
What I saw from from LSU and it was Yahoo
Jahu's sports or that was the Twitter handle might have
been fake.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (16:12):
They were claiming like they committed to twenty something million
in this next roster. That funny that oh yeahmmitment.
Speaker 2 (16:24):
It's oh yeah yeah.
Speaker 6 (16:25):
And now I think LSU didn't we do a story
prior to the season. They's been eighteen million on this
year's roster. Yeah, uh so that's part of it. Now,
it's not all.
Speaker 2 (16:36):
College football has changed so much. Coach, we're going to
pay you this much, and then we're going to pay
this much the players. So well, look, James Franklin have
it said when he was at the press conference for
Virginia Tech, one of the reasons why he chose there
was he loved the tradition, he loves the challenge, he
loves that area, but also the commitment that they made
for the future and the rosters and and all that
(16:59):
kind of stuff. It was just attractive to him.
Speaker 6 (17:01):
And so anyway, we'll see it's a it's got that's
a big week. So by by a week from today,
we should know what's going to happen with lange Kiffen.
Speaker 8 (17:09):
But they said they were fishing, which makes me feel
like he's staying. Yeah, they said, all right, we're going now.
Speaker 2 (17:14):
I agree. I agree.
Speaker 6 (17:16):
It's a big it's it's a big to do about nothing.
And they're just gonna announce that he's signed a long
term extension and that they you know.
Speaker 8 (17:25):
Have up there he's and like I say, I heard
one of them interviews with him when he first went there,
and we had this attitude like here.
Speaker 2 (17:32):
I am some backwoods down yeah. Oh yeah, once I
get out, I actually love this place.
Speaker 8 (17:36):
Yeah, of course, thirteen million dollars make you love somewhere else.
Speaker 2 (17:39):
It will, it will? I don't know, Yeah, I don't know.
Speaker 6 (17:41):
But anyway, they moved down a spot to six, even
though they were off. But they have the Egg Bowl
coming up, and Texas Tech is at seven. This is
the ape pole, and it gives you an idea of
what's going to happen. Maybe Oklahoma is at eight after
being beaten Missouri seventeen to six. They got lsu speaking
of them. Notre Dame is at nine, Alabama is at ten.
(18:02):
That's where they stay, and there's your top ten in
the ap pole. Of course, the Iron Bowl coming up
this week too. We'll take a break, we'll.
Speaker 2 (18:08):
Be right back. Don't go anywhere. Hey, it's speedy.
Speaker 6 (18:18):
If you're on your feet all day, the wrong boots
can absolutely ruin everything, which is why Brunt work where
stands out. Their boots are built tough but comfortable. They're
not stiff with that stiff leather. They're not painful to
break in that period of oh my goodness, these boots. No,
they feel ready for a full shift on day one.
(18:41):
Brunt was created by someone who actually worked in the trades,
who knew that the big legacy brands weren't listening anymore.
Brunt is releasing right now, limited edition styles all month long.
Once they're sold out, they're gone, and they've got everything
from heavy duty pants to incredibly comfortable hoodies built to
take a beating. Best of all, there is zero risk.
(19:04):
If they don't fit, Brunt will take them back.

Thank you so much for tuning in to the Rick
Burgess Show. It's the good Time Gang Dirty Calvin into
(19:51):
Boys again just after time of the hour.
Speaker 2 (19:53):
Thank you so much for being with us, same speed raiser.
There's Greg Burges and Chris ad Van Adler in the
TV room. Rick is not with us today, Lord will
and he'll be back with us in a day, maybe tomorrow,
maybe Wednesday, We're not really sure. And we want to
thank all of you. And Rick sends his love. He says, hey,
(20:14):
please tell everybody thank you for your concerns and prayers
for the family. Understandably, there are questions concerning his current
absence from the show. As a staff, we've said, hey,
and we've always had this mindset, you know, family first,
you take care of the family. And we say this
for all of us, even if we have, you know,
something that we need to do and take care.
Speaker 6 (20:34):
Of, We're like, hey, man, you're where you need to be,
and take care of your business and get back when
you can. And that's kind of what's happening. And that's
what the staff has conveyed to Rick as well. Bottom line,
While the show and the platform and everybody around is
so important to him, as you can imagine, immediate family
comes first and so that's where his priority is. He's
taking care of that situation and Lord Willing will be
(20:57):
back soon. So we are having a good time together
so far today. If you missed the first hour, we
did a lot of sports. Some updates over this past
weekend coming soon. Eddie van now Adler takes the kids
to an Auburn game, their first ever in the Van
Uh and I'm assuming bye by yourself. It was just
(21:17):
you that the three of you, whole fan at least
you had you, I mean y'all, y'all could at least
do one on one, you know, which is always helpful. Sure,
that's that's good. So I can't wait for that update.
Speaker 2 (21:29):
Still coming up. I can only imagine you have to
get back to work so you can rest. Yes, I
saw this feature, this feature, and you know how sometimes
you you can't really trust what you read. Oh like
a lot of times you can't.
Speaker 6 (21:45):
Like over the weekend, you know, everybody knew where lank
I don't believe anywhere Lane Kiffin was going. Oh everybody,
you know, they already had the feedbody now that lu
was offering him and uh and everything, and it could
be true, but you don't know anymore. Well, Elon Musk
came out and says they are exposing the truth behind
social social media accounts across the political spectrum, with account
(22:08):
owners apparently misleading followers where they're actually posting from. And
some are basically like, hey, we're patriots, we're American or whatever.
It comes to find out they're like ones in Turkey
and I want one somewhere in Poland.
Speaker 5 (22:24):
Oh yeah, you know. And this whole weekend it was
just people being revealed to be in Bangladesh or whatever. Yeah,
or like people saying, don't don't blame me, I voted
for the brown lady talking about they voted for Kamala Harris.
But then you're like, you live in Canada, you vote for.
Speaker 2 (22:41):
Anybody, for anybody.
Speaker 6 (22:42):
Yes, And we've always said this, but it's true again here. Uh,
people are going to try to mislead you and create
drama and conflict because they know that's how America will,
you know, basically be the townfall of America is if
we all are turned on each other, turn it against
each other with there's a new feature that allows all
(23:03):
x users to inspect where a given account is based,
like listing the country or the region. Yes, and so
many popular accounts posing as American patriots, constitutionalists, you know,
et cetera, aren't even in the US to what Adler
was saying, Like this one at seven teen seventy six
(23:26):
General Underscore has about one hundred and forty thousand followers,
and it was revealed he was in Turkey. Now, right
after that he tried to say, I'm working international and
I'm here right now.
Speaker 2 (23:39):
I'm normally in the US, but i'm here.
Speaker 6 (23:42):
Another account at American Voice Underscore has about two hundred
thousand followers, and the new feature exposed that he was
in South Asia, and shortly after that someone they deleted
the account.
Speaker 2 (23:58):
It's one here.
Speaker 6 (24:00):
I think this was one that was about Gaza, claiming
he was a Gaza based journalist can't come to find
out had one hundred and ninety seven thousand followers, but
X exposed him and he was actually in Poland. He's
not Angel Yeah, oh yeah.
Speaker 2 (24:18):
So it's just it's crazy. But this new feature will
tell you where you're at.
Speaker 6 (24:23):
It'll let all the fraudsters have to be and some
light shot shown on them because they're not where they
are or they are.
Speaker 2 (24:30):
Pop would do that. That's shocking. This is perfect.
Speaker 5 (24:33):
I think that's great. I'm all for this. It's it
was really shocking to see how many people were like
Conservative Patriot Eagle, right, that Conservative Patriot Eagle USA, and
then you're like, you're in India, why are you even
weighing in on our politics?
Speaker 2 (24:50):
Right?
Speaker 5 (24:50):
So it's just engagement farming. Just they're just you know,
driving clicks to their and you go to their page
and they have like one hundred thousand people following them,
very active page. And guys, this is this is a
left turn here. But speaking of not really being able
to believe anything that you see now aiol we had
(25:12):
Gary in the studio on Friday, and just from the
video of him on the bike somebody was able to
take that AI and make it look like he was
crashing into a ditch when a turkey took off. I mean,
it was unbelievable. I didn't make it. Somebody just send
it to me.
Speaker 2 (25:27):
By the way, Yeah, oh, he sent me a picture
last night. Somebody put an ape on the back of
his bike like they were riding a trail through the woods,
and it looks exactly like it. I mean just thinking, well.
Speaker 8 (25:38):
Let's just go back to last year, that far back,
and remember when we first started looking at this stuff. Yes,
it didn't look quite right right then you could find
flaws in it, and it's getting there, or you don't
find a flaw in it.
Speaker 5 (25:49):
It's getting to where every single video I see, I'm like,
is that real?
Speaker 8 (25:52):
Is that fake?
Speaker 2 (25:53):
Is it?
Speaker 5 (25:53):
I have to I think that now. Well, I hope
I don't get my buddy in trouble here. But my
buddy sends being screenshots of text messages with his wife.
What he punked his wife this weekend using AI?
Speaker 2 (26:09):
What?
Speaker 5 (26:10):
Yes, He's like, dude, I probably should.
Speaker 2 (26:12):
Have done this. Would you do that?
Speaker 5 (26:14):
Okay? Have you guys seen those like screenshots of text
messages online? And it's like something funny like whatever. But
but you're never even sure if it's really You're like,
this is probably not even real. Well, this one is
actually real because I actually know the guys. So that
made me his conversation. I laughed hard. Here it is
behind y'all showing it. Yeah, I edited out anybody's name picture,
(26:37):
So y'all he is. He's at home on his lunch break.
He knows his wife is also at work. He sends
his wife a text message, is my buddy, and I'm
not going to say any names or anything like that,
but he sent He sent his wife, Hey, did you
send this chick over to clean? She basically let herself
in and saying you told her to come and I
told her to stop cleaning the sink until I know
(26:58):
what's going on. The wife responds, what No. He then
sends his wife an AI picture of their kitchen and
please look at this person that he sent. It is
a young a young attractive. I will say, the house
made up and she's fake. That is their kitchen. She's
totally fake.
Speaker 2 (27:19):
Oh my goodness. See, how do you know? How do
you how can you decipher?
Speaker 5 (27:23):
She goes, that's crazy. No, I didn't tell I didn't.
I'm with the I'm on the call right now with
a client. And then my buddy goes, she says, she'll
do it for free, and the wife texts back, why
what do you what? What are you talking about? And
my buddy texts her he goes, I don't know. I
thought you set this up. So they go back and forth.
Speaker 2 (27:41):
That is hilarious.
Speaker 5 (27:43):
It's it's just she goes, she's lying that psycho behavior.
Get her out of our house.
Speaker 2 (27:50):
Really nice.
Speaker 5 (27:55):
So you know he paid. He was in the doghouse.
Speaker 2 (28:00):
Birthday. What do you say? He says? I loved this
was my birthday.
Speaker 5 (28:03):
But I thought you I thought this was like my
birthday present or something.
Speaker 2 (28:07):
Oh, he's in trouble. She was?
Speaker 8 (28:10):
She like better the fact that that person was made
up and put in his kitchen.
Speaker 2 (28:15):
It looks real.
Speaker 8 (28:16):
Yeah, yeah, maybe should have punched your wife.
Speaker 2 (28:20):
Yea, In hindsight, baby boy, I bet he paid for that.
Speaker 5 (28:22):
He was in the doghouse all weekend. Today is his birthday, though,
happy birthday.
Speaker 2 (28:29):
You got careful, you got you gotta be.
Speaker 5 (28:31):
Did you see she so she will do it for free?
Did you send her?
Speaker 6 (28:37):
Did you see when Elon was on that's Funny Rogan
here and he talked about the future of AI in
five or six years, what's gonna be capable of doing?
Speaker 2 (28:45):
Hey, hey, Greg scary. I don't want lizard Man telling
me stuff. I'm just I'm just saying you think it's
it's something now.
Speaker 5 (28:54):
And people keep like.
Speaker 2 (28:57):
Nothing.
Speaker 5 (28:58):
People will have these bold predictions for the future. And
with these AI companies, you can see that people are
getting scared that like, oh no, AI is not really
going to be as capable as we thought. It's a bubble.
But then then we'll have another step forward. Then we'll
have another step forward in this direction, so it keeps progressing.
Speaker 2 (29:16):
Yeah, we'll be right back.
Speaker 3 (29:19):
This is the Rick Burgess Show.
Speaker 2 (29:26):
You know.
Speaker 6 (29:27):
There's some reels and stuff about Tim Tebow. Uh, and
that's that's I guess hitting hitting my feed. And every
time I listen to him, I'm like, man, he's got
a lot of really powerful things to say. But all
I do is I think of you doing doing your
Tim Tebow.
Speaker 2 (29:42):
Yeah, I thank you for that game day the other day. Yeah,
I'll start practicing again. Well, Leleih doesn't like you don't know,
she doesn't.
Speaker 8 (29:50):
You can't I'm not making fun that's just I'm trying
to do an impression. It's not making fun of though body.
I mean kind of, Frank, it wouldn't making fun of mad.
Speaker 5 (30:01):
Yeah, that's different though, I think Greg.
Speaker 6 (30:03):
Yeah you are, you are kind of I'm not in
speedies league.
Speaker 2 (30:07):
I get it. Man of a thousand.
Speaker 5 (30:09):
Yeah, that's true.
Speaker 6 (30:10):
Well, you know why I think Lee says that about
Tim t Be because you said that his voice kind
of aggravates you a little bit.
Speaker 2 (30:16):
No, and then that it's just it. They all don't
get me started. Well, I'm just saying that's what it's
different when you see guy standing there. He I don't know.
I'm not going to say nothing.
Speaker 6 (30:28):
Well, I'm just saying that's the different calliando and I
don't think that's there.
Speaker 2 (30:33):
I think the exact same thing.
Speaker 5 (30:36):
Oh, he does so much with the trafficking by the way,
just all kind of stuff, you.
Speaker 3 (30:43):
Know, it is.
Speaker 6 (30:45):
That's actually one of the ones I was watching. I'm like, man,
that's this is some powerful stuff what they're doing. And
then all I could think was your good doing it.
It's like, yeah, it's great, you know.
Speaker 8 (30:55):
Yeah, he trails off on me. I'm working on it.
Speaker 5 (30:58):
It's he and it's it's a dark world and they
throw out some facts there.
Speaker 2 (31:05):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (31:05):
He and Jared Hudson. Uh, those are the two guys
recently that I've heard podcasts with Jared Hudson being on
this show and then Tim Tebow being on Sean Ryan,
and it is, uh, there's some there's some really horrible
things going on in the world, and it is incredibly
uh disappointing and horrifying to know that the United States
(31:29):
is one of the largest consumers, if I think, the
largest consumer of that horrible, horrible, horrible content. So I
think we can uh, yeah, we can bring back like
public executions, right, guys think we kind of Yeah, I
think it's time.
Speaker 4 (31:47):
Yea.
Speaker 5 (31:49):
They also I support Jared Hudson for Senate.
Speaker 2 (31:52):
I'm is there it is. He's doing well too good.
Speaker 5 (31:58):
Have y'all watched.
Speaker 2 (32:00):
Flicks Being Eddie, the documentary on Eddie Murphy Yet I
know you're in love with it?
Speaker 6 (32:04):
No, No, there's just another story out about it. You know,
we talked about Okay, the first update we had was that,
you know, it was revealed that he was paying for
a lot of celebrity desks because they didn't have the
money or the family.
Speaker 8 (32:18):
Whether somebody did any pay for buckweeds or put a headstone.
Speaker 2 (32:23):
Up or something. Keep on, I'm not helping. I mean
I did that. Not what we talked about last arms
crossed and you're just looking on. I'm just saying we
did say buck.
Speaker 5 (32:33):
Wait a couple of I forgot, yeah, I for yeah,
it was.
Speaker 2 (32:36):
Yeah, it was. It was a couple of them. I
don't know if it was that one, but it might
might have been. You know, he played buck Wait on
Not Live.
Speaker 6 (32:42):
Yeah, but it's also been revealed in this uh, this
documentary Being Eddie on Netflix that's out now, that he
there were three blockbuster hits that he regrets, uh and
wishes he never would have turned down. And apparently it
was Ghostbusters.
Speaker 2 (32:59):
Really yes he.
Speaker 6 (33:00):
Uh he said he was supposed to do Ghostbusters but
didn't do that.
Speaker 2 (33:05):
I bet look at the script. It looks stupid. He
didn't do Rush Hour? Turned that down? Is that the
one rush Hour?
Speaker 5 (33:12):
Jackie Chan?
Speaker 2 (33:13):
Yeah? Yeah, that guy gets on my nurse to Chris Tucker.
Speaker 5 (33:20):
Yeah, so you've got two people to get on your
nerves and.
Speaker 2 (33:22):
That didn't do that one.
Speaker 5 (33:23):
I love Jackie Chan. Let me say that I believe
I was I wanted to be Jackie Chan. You know,
growing up he does his own stunts. He does his
own which he does, but he would get he would
get hurt, like every time he would.
Speaker 2 (33:36):
At one, maybe he shouldn't do his.
Speaker 5 (33:37):
Snapped his ankle had to wear a cast, and so
he just put a sack over his cast that was
painted like his other tennis shoe, just so he could.
And then when he moved his feet real fast, it
looked exactly the same. Love Jackie Chan, and then it is.
It is later years he has since become a kind
of a mouthpiece for the communists in China, and everybody's like, buddy,
(34:01):
what's going on?
Speaker 2 (34:02):
A movie?
Speaker 5 (34:03):
Yeah, so that's that's he was one of my heroes.
I'm serious. Growing up he was like my hero man.
Mister nice guy is one of the original like action movies.
Speaker 2 (34:16):
Ever, I don't remember that.
Speaker 5 (34:18):
Yeah, no, it's it's it's also very bad, you know,
very corny, not a great movie, but that the stunts
in it are amazing. So let's say Red Fox back
to this Red Yeah, Red Fox, Charlie Murphy and Rick James.
James he paid for their funerals, and but I don't
think Buckwheats.
Speaker 2 (34:36):
He put buck Wade the headstone up.
Speaker 3 (34:39):
Okay, yeah, right.
Speaker 2 (34:41):
He pays somebody.
Speaker 5 (34:43):
He pays for those funerals. They say others, There are others,
but these are the people listed. And he says it
says here, I'm just reading off the internet. But he
never actually attended those services. He didn't attend the funerals.
He just paid for.
Speaker 2 (34:59):
Him for him.
Speaker 8 (35:00):
I'm sure they didn't mind him missing it.
Speaker 5 (35:02):
He says that they quote shouldn't even have funerals. I
guess he's not a funeral guy, but wanted to pay
for it.
Speaker 2 (35:09):
He's anti funeral.
Speaker 5 (35:10):
I guess did you you did watch Being Eddie by
the way, you watched the.
Speaker 6 (35:15):
No, I have not watched all started it and I
think he did pay for what you're saying.
Speaker 2 (35:19):
But wait, yeah, you can't say buck wheit. No, I'm
just saying. I was just saying you were right again,
is all. Let me get to this last one. He
also turned out how good it was? Yea. He also
turned down framing Roger Rabbit. Well he should have turned
that one.
Speaker 6 (35:37):
So the uh so Ghostbusters movie was released in nineteen
eighty four, made about two hundred and forty three million.
Speaker 2 (35:43):
Yeah, it was at the box office.
Speaker 6 (35:46):
Rush Hour had two sequels and who framed Roger Rabbit
brought in about one hundred and fifty six million domestics.
Speaker 8 (35:51):
So he wished he'd I know, I get the numbers,
but you would have had to have been in Roger.
Speaker 6 (35:54):
But if you think about it, it's like, yeah, I
understand what you're saying. But he said with Ghostbusters, he
did Beverly Hills Cop instead, which is.
Speaker 8 (36:03):
One of the best, one of my favorite movies, Beverly Hills,
the original.
Speaker 6 (36:07):
Yeah, sequels, Yeah, And then he went on to play
in movies like The Nutty Professor and Fun Yeah, Doctor
Doolittle and stuff like that. So, I mean, there's reasons
of why he didn't do it, but he's just like, man,
you know, I had to turn those things down, and
I just I hate.
Speaker 5 (36:22):
That it turned out, Dallah it did. Hey, while we're
talking about shows and all that, I mentioned on Apple
TV there was that alien invasion show called Pluribus. I
had watched the pilot only and I was like, Wow,
this seems like it's a good show. The second episode
was such a huge fall off. I didn't even finish it.
(36:44):
It was it was it was boring. The entire style
of it changed, and I'm so sorry. I'm watching the
thing and there's okay, okay, another F bomb. Great. I
recommended this on the show fantastic and then like, you know,
F bombs and some other jokes.
Speaker 2 (37:00):
Yeah, I'm like you think you Oh, okay, great, got it.
Speaker 5 (37:05):
So I removed my endorsement of that show. The pilot
was really cool. The second episode not good at all,
So I'm removing my recommendation to watch the show pluribus.
Speaker 6 (37:17):
Sorry to everyone watching, appreciate those dove in and went
wow about that. Tayler was full of crap.
Speaker 5 (37:23):
Yeah, the pilot was great. The second episode hard. That's
the biggest fall off for a second episode of any
series I've ever seen ever.
Speaker 8 (37:30):
Yeah, let me tell you all this, since we're on
this subject. I was streaming, we were trying to find
something to watch. I got money and Lisa yeah with
it anyway, So Netflix, I think it's Netflix comes out
and hey you bum baum. Julie Roberts maybe her best
performance ever. It's called After the Hunt.
Speaker 2 (37:51):
Oh terrible.
Speaker 8 (37:53):
That's the most boring two hours and twenty minutes, and
it was don't watch it, don't watch it. It's offensive.
It isn't that it ain't. I wish it would be
at least offensive.
Speaker 5 (38:06):
It looks like one of those movies where everybody just
kind of stands.
Speaker 8 (38:09):
Around the boring thing I've ever heard. It was not
entertaining at all.
Speaker 2 (38:14):
And Eddie Murphy paid for funerals, not deaths. We wouldn't
a hit man.
Speaker 5 (38:17):
He wasn't killed.
Speaker 3 (38:22):
They get show.
Speaker 6 (38:27):
Relief Ban is the device though, that actually stops it.
It's FDA cleared, clinically proven, totally drug free and non drowsy.
It works by sending gentle pulses to the wrist that
can calm the nerves of your stomach, and you can
adjust the intensity depending on how you feel.
Speaker 2 (38:45):

Speaker 6 (38:48):
They have the Relief Band Sport it's sleek, rechargeable and
water resistant, and the Relief of Band Flex. It's lighter,
great for like daily wear, and it uses a swappable
battery so you can never be caught without power. And
what makes relief ban so useful as how quickly it works.
I mean, it really does. If you've been waiting to
(39:09):
try a relief ban, is it's time?
Speaker 2 (39:11):

ban dot com.
Speaker 6 (39:43):
That's relief band dot com to shop the Black Friday

Speaker 2 (39:56):
And he is going to be with us as soon
as he can. But as a.
Speaker 6 (40:00):
Staff and I know all of you echo this, He's
where he needs to be right now, and this is
the last thing he needs to worry about. And so
we will continue to move on with the show as
best we can and take that off of him. And
we thank all of you because you help with that,
because we're all one big family, and I know all
of you are coming alongside Rick in prayer and and
(40:23):
we just can't thank you enough. That was just the
biggest thing he wanted us convey to all of you.
It's just thank you, thank you, and we appreciate you
helping us keep.
Speaker 2 (40:32):
It in the road.
Speaker 6 (40:33):
I don't know how good we're doing, but we sure
are trying. If Rick of the rick Burgers show in here,
there is going to be a difference, and so we're
just trying to feel that you will. You'll just we'll
just try to keep it in the road. Next hour,
we do have an update. Adler takes the kiddos, he
and erin to an Auburn game for the first time ever.
Speaker 2 (40:52):
How did that go?
Speaker 6 (40:54):
He said, he didn't even know there was a game.
So that's there for you. You know, anytime you hear Slim,
you're like, what's that? The slender Man stabber? He's the
slender Man stabber has been captured following a nationwide man hunt.
The nationwide man hunt of the slender Man, and now
(41:18):
it says here it was Morgan Geyser. I guess is
the nation is that's who it is? Or was the
Wisconsin woman convicted in the twenty twenty four slender Man
stabbing has been ended, authorities announced Sunday night. The Madison
Police Department confirmed. Geyser was taken into custody in Illinois
(41:39):
at around ten thirty four pm, ending the intense search.
Speaker 2 (41:45):
And it's a she.
Speaker 6 (41:47):
This is weird, but Geyser. It is coming back to
me as I'm looking at this. But that she escaped,
I guess after she cut off her Department of Corrections
monitoring bracelet and fled.
Speaker 2 (42:01):
Her home.
Speaker 5 (42:02):
Those aren't easy to cut off.
Speaker 6 (42:06):
They started them from the man hunt from Morgan Geyser.
It was last seen, uh, you know, in the area
around eight pm the other night, and so the whereabouts
were unknown as a Sunday morning, but the department said
they found they found Guyser, uh and guys are pleaded
in twenty seventeen guilty of a first degree murder or attempted.
Speaker 8 (42:28):
At first but they cut her up. Yeah, wow, you
remember it was were they three of them convicted her.
Two they turned on one of their friends and they
had this weird slender Man thing, yeah, the internet thing.
Speaker 2 (42:41):
Yeah, yes, yeah, it was just weird.
Speaker 5 (42:44):
It was I think just one other classmate.
Speaker 2 (42:47):
Yeah. And then the third was the victim.
Speaker 5 (42:49):
She and a classmates stabbed a girl nineteen times.
Speaker 6 (42:51):
Oh all right, she's been in custody. Uh in a
mental health institute for the last seven years.
Speaker 2 (42:58):
I me needs to stay there.
Speaker 6 (43:00):
But slender Man, the slender Man stabber has been captured.
Speaker 2 (43:04):
So and it was it was it broke over. It
was a nationwide man hunt. So that's been resolved.
Speaker 8 (43:09):
So so you decided to cut that ankle thing off
and I'm I'm out.
Speaker 2 (43:12):
Yeah, yeah, I'm out. See you later. Yeah, it was
a horrible story. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (43:19):
When you when you get through to the point of
an ankle brace, yeah, I mean you've been you're your problem.
Speaker 2 (43:26):
Yeah. If they got to keep keep you know, he's
supposed to be if they have.
Speaker 5 (43:32):
A homing device on you, like you're a bear like.
Speaker 2 (43:38):
Shark.
Speaker 5 (43:39):
All right, let's keep track of all those and then
also that girl.
Speaker 2 (43:43):
Yeah yeah.
Speaker 6 (43:44):
Also over the weekend, I was kind of looking at
the TV a little bit. Didn't get to see anything,
but I see the new commie mayor hanging out with
Trump at the White House.
Speaker 2 (43:54):
Is that true? Yes? And Trump, you have you got
that adler.
Speaker 8 (43:58):
I do like when they ask me if you steal
thanks Trunk's a fascist.
Speaker 5 (44:01):
Yes, very awkward, very funny.
Speaker 2 (44:06):
Trump was like, you ain't got to ask that or something.
Speaker 5 (44:08):
I mean, he goes, you can say yes, that's okay.
He goes, that's okay. You can just say yes. It's
easier than explaining I don't mind. And it all happens
very quick. That's why I read it. But it is
very funny here, Yes, Mondami the socialist.
Speaker 11 (44:25):
We're elected about a House resolution. It just passed overwhelmingly
to condemn socialism, including with eighty six Democrats, all of
House dem leadership and the minority leader had Kim Jefferies
despite his endorsement of you.
Speaker 5 (44:39):
What's your reaction to that? Okay, there are the first
question with you. I focused very little on resolutions. Frankly,
I've been focusing on socialism. I understand. I think the
focus is on I think is a democratic socialist.
Speaker 2 (44:50):
I've been very open about that.
Speaker 5 (44:53):
Differences about ideology, but the place of agreement is the
work that needs to be done to make New York
City affordable. That's what I look forward to. That's your
answer to Steven Nelson.
Speaker 11 (45:02):
He asked about your comment calling the president a fascist,
and your answer was, President Trump and I have been
clear about our positions and our views. Are you affirming
that you think President Trump is a fascist, I've spoken about.
Speaker 2 (45:15):
That's okay, okay, explaining awkward moment. That's so funny. Y'all
have not seen that he's standing right beside. Yeah, it's
just so much, just so Yeah. Then he pats him
(45:36):
on the army. That's okay, buddy, and that guy's so uncomfortable.
Oh yeah, well yeah I did. Oh my goodness, Jack awkward.
That's hilarious.
Speaker 5 (45:46):
Jack Pasobic is a uh, he's a Jack Paso. I'm
probably saying that name wrong. But he's a conservative Okay, okay.
He's a conservative commentator, very involved, and he was actually
in the room when the new mayor elect DONI I'm
in the White House, and he actually pressed Mondami and
(46:07):
that was, uh, this is great if.
Speaker 2 (46:10):
If you got if we squeeze in about twenty sex.
Speaker 5 (46:12):
Twenty seconds, well, I'll just summarize it. Jack was like, hey, man,
are you going to continue this idea of race based
property taxes? Mom Dommy says no, and Jack says, that's
what you said. Mondammy said the use of the term
was a description of neighborhoods. I was just describing neighborhoods,
not a description of intent. But Sovic says, so you
(46:32):
do intend to tax the whiter neighborhoods more. And then
he went on to say, we intend to create a
fair property tax system that's fair and equitable.
Speaker 2 (46:43):
Fair congratulations New York. Yeah what you got, buddy. That's good.
That's not what a mess and what an awkward moment
the Oval Office. That's funny, go aha and say yes,
but that's all right.
Speaker 3 (46:57):
Is the Rick Burgess Show.
Speaker 6 (47:04):
I want to thank you all for being here on
Thanksgiving week. We've talked about that, no gobble gobble, but
we're still thankful for you. And I'm having to say
thank a lot instead of thinking.
Speaker 8 (47:15):
About yeah, yeah, I'm sure I'm hearing it.
Speaker 6 (47:19):
I'm truggling now now that y'all kind of called me out.
Now I haven't hear it, and I'm.
Speaker 5 (47:25):
Trying to say sorry.
Speaker 6 (47:28):
My goal is to is to spit the yeah, thank you,
thank you. Mike's a mess here anything Thankgiving? Ye yeah,
so not Thanksgiving. But I'm not saving that that on Thanksgiving, buddy.
Speaker 5 (47:44):
And I noticed it for I mean, you did not
a decade caller said something and I wasn't going to
say this was never going to come. I was never
going to say anything. And a caller said, never going
to say anything. I'm sorry. It even came to.
Speaker 2 (47:58):
Like, okay that you say thanks.
Speaker 6 (48:00):
I've noticed some things about you, buddy that I'm not
going to say.
Speaker 2 (48:05):
Well, I'm gonna tell you what I didn't have, very
thankful for my workplace, best friends.
Speaker 5 (48:11):
Giving is a tough time for you, and you're doing great.
You're doing a.
Speaker 2 (48:15):
Tough time for me. You're struggling saying it is not
the actual day. Do you want to why? Greg? Because
we wake up with a Macy's Thanksgiving Day and you
can't wait, you can't wait.
Speaker 6 (48:28):
You know this year, I think we're gonna be well,
I'm saying it again. Well, I say, realize, I say think.
Speaker 5 (48:32):
A lot, think and tank.
Speaker 2 (48:34):
Uh, because we're gonna be on the road early. I
don't know that traveling. You definitely can't watch it on
the radio normally when we pull up. You know what
Johnat and Regg have on what the parade? Oh yeah,
we get there in the.
Speaker 6 (48:46):
Parade zone, baby, you'll get there in time to say.
We've talked about this in years past. I don't sit
down and like watch it with a cup of coff
and go. You'll be quiet here comes you know, bugs Bunny,
But there's nothing that says like Thanksgiving morning, like just
having that on in the background.
Speaker 5 (49:04):
You know, I get secondhand from watching the performances.
Speaker 8 (49:08):
Yeah, yeah, when they stop and do it live like
and they got yeah, like their own Broadway.
Speaker 2 (49:12):
Yeah, yeah, that is that's a little much.
Speaker 5 (49:14):
And here's Casey in the Sunshine Band all lip syncing.
Nobody's really on right. The drummer has like one drum
and he's holding it in his hand like yeah, I'm like,
that's just embarrassing. Just don't just wave. You didn't need
to play the toy drums right, miming Then.
Speaker 6 (49:30):
Yeah, I'm kind of in a battle with myself with
that because I understand what they have in front of them,
and that is it's a parade. It's not a Broadway player,
it's not a concert. They're just it's just an act.
But I do get embarrassed sometimes when they go when
they're off on it, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (49:48):
What are you doing here there? Well, what do you mean?
What am I doing here?
Speaker 5 (49:51):
It's a parade.
Speaker 2 (49:53):
Everybody knows. Then they start kicking you know. It's all that.
Speaker 5 (49:58):
Speaking of plays and everything, Greg, how was the movie
Wicked this weekend?
Speaker 2 (50:04):
I wouldn't know good.
Speaker 8 (50:06):
Yeah, I can't think of any scenario that would have
me watching that.
Speaker 2 (50:11):
J Roberts, the movie that I hated.
Speaker 5 (50:13):
Okay, well, it cleaned up at the box office, and yes, yes,
this is the sequel you just said, Wicked for good.
Speaker 2 (50:22):
It's the second one.
Speaker 5 (50:23):
It's the second one. And people are saying that it
is because they used most of the songs that are
in the play in the first movie, so there really
wasn't much material from the play left for the second one.
So but it's cleaning up. I don't want the box.
Speaker 2 (50:38):
Office feature green people. That's just like a real.
Speaker 5 (50:42):
That's racism, Greg, that's called racism.
Speaker 8 (50:44):
Green person's green. And they're talking all right, while we're
talking about I can live with because he's a you know, animated.
Speaker 5 (50:52):
While we're talking about this, y'all have seen there's the
the there's the actor actress. What's what's this? This act
this this what's her name? She's in Wicked?
Speaker 2 (51:02):
What's her turn around?
Speaker 3 (51:03):
Look?
Speaker 5 (51:04):
This singer?
Speaker 2 (51:05):
Oh yeah, Arianna.
Speaker 5 (51:07):
Ariana grind Thank you. I couldn't think of that.
Speaker 2 (51:09):
So remember his name, Pete Davidson.
Speaker 5 (51:12):
Yes, yes, that's weird, weird. Before Wicked, she looked kind
of normal, you know, a little bit of cultural appropriation
going on there, but she looked pretty normal. But there's
several actors in this movie that before Wicked they look normal,
and now in Wicked she looks like totally drawn up.
That's guys, everybody on this movie is like dried up
(51:37):
like a raisin, like an anorexic raisin. That's what's her
name from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, She's all dried up
like a raisin. Two. And then the main chick that's
green in the movie, who's you know, but she's all
dried up. To y'all, it's it's less like these people,
it's it's it's what's everybody's like? What's going on with
the Wicked? What is going on they all become? Are
(51:59):
they all just arexic buddies together?
Speaker 8 (52:01):
Like?
Speaker 5 (52:01):
What's going on? Is they are not healthy? No, they
don't look healthy. Yes, yes, yes.
Speaker 2 (52:09):
Sadly you have to ask that because of AI and people.
Speaker 8 (52:12):
I don't believe anything, and uh, you don't believe that
was President Trump?
Speaker 2 (52:16):
What's his name? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (52:18):
Mom, dummy? This Cynthia, Cynthia Arrivo and Ariana Grande. There's
something weird going on. They're like weirdly all over each
other in all this press, but they're doing they're just
like weirdly like in each other's faces, in an each
other's space, and it just makes me incredibly uncomfortable. And
I'm mad that y'all haven't seen any of this.
Speaker 2 (52:38):
So I normally don't do a lot. I'm trying. If
it's your thing, that's fine. I'm not it's not my thing.
Speaker 5 (52:46):
But they're just like weirdly all over each other all
the time, like, yeah, watch those nails. Yeah wow, so.
Speaker 2 (52:55):
Look, or does she got like she shaved your head?
Speaker 5 (52:59):
No, she donet not an alopecia situation, gregs will Smith, Yeah, so.
Speaker 2 (53:05):
Yeah, they bought a lot. Yeah, but uh.
Speaker 5 (53:10):
Yeah, these these these that's they're just like all over
each other and the tiny they are.
Speaker 2 (53:15):
The weird look at it. He's what's he doing?
Speaker 8 (53:20):
And then did she like hook up with one of
the co stars and he's a weird looking dude to
say out.
Speaker 5 (53:25):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah Arianna Grande you talking about her? Yeah,
she's got this weird looking elf husband.
Speaker 9 (53:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (53:31):
Look he's in the movie too, right, I think he's
on he's in plays at least he's on Broadway. I
don't know if he's made.
Speaker 2 (53:38):
I don't think they weigh a hundred and ten pounds.
Speaker 5 (53:40):
No, No, I think they weigh under one hundred pounds.
And that's so unhealthy, y'all. They're like bones city.
Speaker 2 (53:46):
He's worried about.
Speaker 5 (53:47):
I'm really am concerned.
Speaker 2 (53:48):
They would look They looked healthy. They didn't even look
over weight when this started. They look just like healthy people.
Now they do look anorexic.
Speaker 5 (53:55):
Yes, they look intirexic. And it's uh, it's concerning the
odd and wicked.
Speaker 2 (54:01):
If you can see your collar bone through your your
dress or your shirt and it's poking out, yeah, yeah,
Or you want to look at that like your ribs,
your ribs, Yeah, I don't.
Speaker 5 (54:10):
We don't need to see ribs looking wicked.
Speaker 2 (54:13):
Yeah. It's tough for two ladies with extremely long fingernails
to hold hands. Yeah, they were trying. They're like, the
nails are their own person. No sense having nails that long. No,
how do you use the bathroom? Yeah, huh, no sense?
Think about it. I know, I said think.
Speaker 5 (54:29):
To think about it. You know I can't these these
parade performances, especially, Oh yeah, it's the parade day. Everybody
knows about it. Oh god, everybody knows everybody.
Speaker 2 (54:44):
When we come back, Chris and Aaron take the kids
to the auburns Okay House mercer. We had to tell
them there was a game. Yeah he did.
Speaker 5 (54:55):
I don't blame the football was the.

Speaker 6 (57:16):
It was it was hyped up, anticipated, first time for
the kiddos to go to the past game.
Speaker 2 (57:22):
Oh he had it like he liked it.
Speaker 5 (57:23):
Yeah, thank you to In fact, I got to be honest,
I ended up getting parking pass and tickets from just
a random It was a friend of the show. So
I want to say thank you John and Daniel. Actually
Daniel hooked me up with a parking past too, so
(57:43):
I okay. It was thank you guys, very well done.
So we Saturday morning we wanted to hit the road.
It's me and my wife Erin and then our five
year old daughter Ruby and our two year old son Ezra.
Speaker 2 (58:00):
Auburn gear.
Speaker 5 (58:01):
We got our Auburn gear on. I was gonna wear
my bo Jackson jersey and be twins with Ezra. But
then I found my old Weagle staff shirt. Weigel is
the campus radio station where I had a Monday morning Goodness.
Speaker 6 (58:15):
I had him come back and speak at the alumni Yeah.
Speaker 2 (58:19):
It was a big crowd there. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (58:21):
So yeah, yeah, I was. I was the station manager
for one and I also had a show I was
more well known for Monday Morning Metal Mania.
Speaker 2 (58:34):
Yeah. Plus Ezra wanted to wear that jersey.
Speaker 8 (58:36):
This is a football game, and you decided, yeah, that's
a good one about it.
Speaker 2 (58:41):
So Azra took your jersey.
Speaker 5 (58:42):
So Ezra took the jersey, and I wore my legal
staff shirt. It says staff on the bats I'm important.
I was really, I'm gonna be honest. I wanted to
shout out from like a weagle person, like hey, I
was nothing. Nobody gave me anything on the shirt. I
wanted to find a I wanted to find a Weegal
(59:04):
breath Breath Brethren Brethren.
Speaker 2 (59:07):
Yeah, probably because you were carrying a child covering up
the logo. Okay, that's true. So he's wearing Oh Jackson jersey.
That's the guy. He used to work here for Monday
Metal everybody. He's the reason I am who I am.
Speaker 5 (59:21):
Look, mom, he got me through senior year with his
I'm in morning because it's morning morning show. That was
the name of my morning show. You were just a
clamor I'm in morning because it's morning morning show, and
the whole stick was, oh it's so early, I'm so tired.
There's the whole.
Speaker 2 (59:37):
Stick Everything you said revolved around well, it's.
Speaker 5 (59:42):
Early, right, Hey, it's eight forty five. It's early in
the morning. If you're tired, I know I'm tired too.
Speaker 2 (59:49):
You're just coming off one get ready.
Speaker 5 (59:52):
That was the whole show, don't get flash, but it's early,
and I thought it was good.
Speaker 2 (01:00:01):
Yes, what the time?
Speaker 8 (01:00:02):
It probably was all right, you know, because I mean,
did you want your metal voice when you did the
Metal Show?
Speaker 2 (01:00:08):
Yeah? Come on? Yeah? No.
Speaker 5 (01:00:09):
In fact, I found you do the lall Tiger's voice.
I found an old tape. I found old as an
old CD of the of the Monday Morning Metal Mania show,
and I'm like, you please, it's Monday morning and it's
seventy three degrees outside. I was all nervous.
Speaker 2 (01:00:24):
How much do we have to pay you to bring
that so we can hear it? Please? One thousand dollars,
please please. It's embarrassing what Christmas present to me?
Speaker 5 (01:00:32):
And I skipped forward and I could. I skipped forward
and I'm like, it's now, it's seventy four degrees. Like buddy,
you said seventy two degrees last break. Nobody cares that.
Speaker 8 (01:00:43):
It's seventy It's really heating up this Metals heating up.
Speaker 2 (01:00:48):
There's two two degrees hired than it was last time.
That's a good sun.
Speaker 5 (01:00:52):
And now here is here's as I lay dying, you know,
So I wore my Weagle staff shirt. Didn't get a
shout out from anybody. The whole time I was there,
was really hoping like it never happened.
Speaker 2 (01:01:07):
Is still on air?
Speaker 5 (01:01:08):
Yes, it's still it's the campus radio session. I didn't
take it off the air.
Speaker 2 (01:01:12):
I didn't know when you left it. I didn't really
know that. He just spoke it. Remember he walked out
on his meal, didn't pay for his meal.
Speaker 5 (01:01:19):
I forgot about it.
Speaker 2 (01:01:20):
A bright star.
Speaker 5 (01:01:21):
It was that I forgot and I was late.
Speaker 2 (01:01:24):
Somebody with a bill, Yeah, spoken left. Hey, we were
short one payment.
Speaker 5 (01:01:28):
So we wanted to leave for the Auburn game between
like eight and eight thirty. So we hit the road
at nine forty five.
Speaker 2 (01:01:37):
Yeah, that's not hey, that's so not too bad, too shy.
Speaker 5 (01:01:45):
Seriously, like the night before, babe, we'll tell me you
want to leave, like nine o'clock. She goes a suit
for between eight and eight thirty. I was like, all right,
close the door, nine forty five, little hitting the road.
Speaker 2 (01:01:58):
So that kind of that changed.
Speaker 5 (01:02:01):
I'm mourning a little bit.
Speaker 2 (01:02:02):
Yeah, missed everything you went there for, which is pretty game.
But other than that, you know why they were lated.
He kept trying on different shirts. We got down to hey, honey,
what does this one to look like? There?
Speaker 5 (01:02:13):
You know, I did campus radio forever.
Speaker 2 (01:02:17):
I don't know why I got you talking feminine.
Speaker 5 (01:02:19):
And that's fine, it's fine. So we we Actually the
trip there was not not horrible. You know, you're just
waiting just too eight And how many stops we actually
did not stop one time? We drove all the way? Yeah,
yeah it was. I mean it was a painful, you
know drive.
Speaker 2 (01:02:40):
Did you take your car? You didn't take the vans?
Speaker 5 (01:02:43):
Well, i'll show you here. Here we are parking, and
here we are walking away from the sweet van. Here
it is so uh, here's the sweet van. Here, there's
the sweet van. Sweet van's looking good? Look at that
so bad?
Speaker 2 (01:03:00):
That's your dream?
Speaker 5 (01:03:00):
All right? So maybe that's a swamp, that's a swat vehicle.
That's not the sweet van. And gotta be honest, you guys.
Remember I told a story about getting stranded in the
van just last week. Yeah, I had a radiator hater
hose blow and I had to get a toe. I
was with Ruby, I was picking up the kids, and
it was a thing, and I thought to myself, all right,
(01:03:22):
so do I take the van? Which is sweet? We've
got room, we got you know. And and so I
chickened out and I took my wife's. We took the
wife's that's smart, it's more dependable. I'm like, what's worse
having to change a diaper in the back of it
like a CRV, which is not ideal. But in the van,
(01:03:43):
I've got like a whole changing table. I can stand
up in the van, which is great. What's worse, though,
being stuck on the side of the road or having
to change in one diaper in the back of a CRV.
Speaker 2 (01:03:51):
Most people don't drive a delivery van? Is there every
day va? That's true, that's true. And that quick question,
and I'm serious about this. Why is Aaron carrying you?
Are you not walking?
Speaker 5 (01:04:00):
That's my son? That's my two year old son, isra okay,
that's my two year old son, Israel, buddy? All right?
Speaker 2 (01:04:07):
So that's.
Speaker 5 (01:04:09):
How slight is that swap vehicle?
Speaker 10 (01:04:10):
Though?
Speaker 5 (01:04:11):
That's what I want my van to look like? Oh yeah, slowly,
but surely it's coming along.
Speaker 2 (01:04:15):
So, yeah, looks just like y'all.
Speaker 5 (01:04:17):
Please listen to my voice. I'm trying to amp up everybody.
Here we go, what side say?
Speaker 7 (01:04:25):
Worry go.
Speaker 5 (01:04:30):
I'm dead inside already. I'm already dead inside.
Speaker 2 (01:04:34):
You see, you see Ruby already. It's almost like he's
been doing this all morning.
Speaker 5 (01:04:40):
We're twenty minutes from the house. I want to go home. Oh,
we're twenty minutes from the house. So like, you know,
you gotta help with the attitude. A lot of times,
I'm pretty.
Speaker 2 (01:04:49):
I gotta I gotta know. Did a little bit of
you go? Okay, let's go back and watch it.
Speaker 5 (01:04:55):
Sounds good, sounds good. Second, Ruby had her little cheerleading
out for the sink and cute. Oh but we we yeah,
I chicken down. Guys, didn't take the van. We uh
we got there in time.
Speaker 2 (01:05:09):
Get inside, hang on, hang on, you get inside. So
you're at the you're at the stadium. And now did
you get so? Did you get there so late?
Speaker 6 (01:05:17):
You couldn't enjoy Really a lot of the outside of
the stadium stuff.
Speaker 5 (01:05:20):
We did, we did. We had to go straight inside.
Didn't do anything outside to go straight inside. If we
wanted to see this eagle, the stupid eagle fly. Oh
I shouldn't say this.
Speaker 2 (01:05:29):
Okay, all right, it's beautiful.
Speaker 6 (01:05:31):
When we come back, we'll pick up the great tradition
the Adlers.
Speaker 2 (01:05:34):
I guess you got through security.
Speaker 3 (01:05:37):
Well, here's the Rick Burgess show.
Speaker 2 (01:05:45):
So we're in the middle. As I said of Adler
recap and going to the Auburn game. He's got his wife,
his two kids. They left a little later than they wanted.
They've made it down to Auburn, not even stopping just
in time. He left the the cool van at home,
drove his wife's car. They've made it to the stadium,
but they're so late they can't stop and enjoy the
pregame festivities outside the stadium. You've got to go straight in. Yes,
(01:06:08):
And so now that's where we left it. Y'all are
kind of entering the security checkpoint.
Speaker 5 (01:06:13):
Yeah, and real quick. I haven't been back to Auburn
since twenty twenty.
Speaker 2 (01:06:19):
Two, since you owned the campus, since.
Speaker 5 (01:06:21):
I went to go see Black Panther two.
Speaker 2 (01:06:23):
Oh my god, so good.
Speaker 5 (01:06:25):
With my Best Buddies from the Best Buddies program.
Speaker 8 (01:06:28):
What year was it when you went and had a
press pass? Because I remember watching the game and you
were down on the sideline with your camera.
Speaker 5 (01:06:34):
Yeah, I think that was the twenty nineteen Iron Bowl. Okay,
if I had to guess, it's a I think it
was a twenty nineteen Iron Bowl. And I got like
in the coach interview. You can see me on TV
on the broadcast their interview in the coach and I'm like,
my stupid face is right there with my camera. I'm
a journalist, I'm a pro. So yeah, the fans stormed
(01:06:58):
the field after that one was wild.
Speaker 2 (01:07:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:07:01):
So the it is odd because I went to college
there and went home and back and forth a bunch
on that road, and it's just weird. How curves of
an old road that you haven't been on a while,
like bring back all these weird memories that was weirding
me out. I was all of a sudden back to
being a college student again. I remember the time I
was moving from one apartment to another in between like
(01:07:23):
sophomore or junior year, and my Nissan Ultimate was packed
so full. The trunk was full, the back seat was full,
and the shotgun past your seat absolutely full. And the
last thing that I squeezed in there was my snake
in this huge glass terrarium and I'll never forget driving
home just to take that stuff home for a week
(01:07:44):
or two and having my snake in the riding shotgun
in the big glass terrarium with me.
Speaker 6 (01:07:50):
So to the one that you lost him started slithering
through the apartment complex.
Speaker 5 (01:07:56):
Yeah, he actually got lost a couple of times. One
time he was in a couch for like two weeks.
Oh wow, girls sat on that couch. A buddy of
mine slept on that couch. And then two weeks later
we're looking for the remote and we're like, oh, there's
my snake in the couch.
Speaker 2 (01:08:10):
Imagine that thing coming up between your legs.
Speaker 5 (01:08:12):
Yeah, so that was terrible, but wow, Auburn continued. Every
time I go back, it's it's built up more and
more and more every time. It's wild. But so we
we get there and and thank you again for the
parking passage. All that was a that was a game
changer because we would have been walking a long time
and kids don't go. Don't do good with traffic, they yeah,
(01:08:37):
and then probably stopping we're in traffic trying to get
to the parking lot, and you know, you get to
inch forward and then the people that are walking next
to you past you, and then you pass them, and
then they passed you again, and Ruby kept pointing that out.
She goes, I knew walking would be better. I knew
walking would be better.
Speaker 2 (01:08:55):
Like, okay, you're five, all ready to go.
Speaker 5 (01:08:58):
So we get there, we park, we get it in,
and it's thick. It is thick, buddies, even though it
was just the Mercer game, Yeah, it was, it was.
There was a lot of people there. It was packed out.
Speaker 2 (01:09:08):
So the tickets did work. Yeah, because you're notorious for
going to events and can't get in, Yes, you did
get in.
Speaker 5 (01:09:14):
Yes anything. In fact, I had, I had. I had
two sets of tickets. I had tickets in one spot
and I had tickets in another spot. I initially bought tickets.
I bought tickets in the upper deck. I talked about
going to the game on the air and the and John,
who hooked me up with a parking pass, was like,
(01:09:35):
and we're not using our tickets. You can. You can
use it and you get free food. And I'm like what,
So I actually was going to go. I was going
to give the tickets that I bought. I was going
to give them to a buddy of mine, and he
had he had already bought his. I'm like, well, and
I ended up being we just had two sets of tickets.
I said, you know what, I'm taking a two year
old who's still in diapers, and a five year old
and my wife, and if one section is a horrible nightmare,
(01:09:59):
maybe the other section and won't be. So that's people
felt bad for, not for not getting rid of the
tickets or whatever in some kind of way.
Speaker 2 (01:10:06):
There's a lot of empty seats.
Speaker 5 (01:10:08):
It was. It was actually very packed out, was it.
Speaker 2 (01:10:10):
Yes, you could tell there were sections. I mean it
looked like a good crowd, don't get me wrong.
Speaker 3 (01:10:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:10:14):
But but but you know, the weekend before the Iron Bowls,
some people say, I'm not going to go to that one.
Speaker 5 (01:10:19):
We are desperate to see this eagle fly. If we
don't see this eagle fly, what it's going to be
a wasted trip. And I'm trying to you know, I'm
really trying to brainwash my children into being Auburn fans,
you know, the whole thing. So we get to our
seats and we're like, okay, this is this is great.
We're like right in on the fifty yard line and
this is our lower level seats, and we have to
get up once to go to the bathroom, and we
(01:10:41):
go back down and we walk past like, you know,
four people. Sorry, sorry, sorry, excuse me.
Speaker 2 (01:10:45):
Excuse me? Sorry, button face, button face, sorry, sorry, excuse me?
Speaker 5 (01:10:48):
Get up again. We get up again to go get food,
and so we come back down and then we have
to get up again to go to another bathroom. Stop again.
Speaker 2 (01:10:57):
So do you just stand up to let people go
by or do you move your legs, stand.
Speaker 5 (01:11:00):
Up, stand up? Whatever? And then we all go up
to get all food. We're all getting food, and so
we're coming back and we're like, we go. If I
miss this eagle fly, I'm gonna be so upset. We
get there and there's there's people in our in our seats. No,
and this this lady that we all passed. I had
(01:11:21):
walked past her several times already, and she goes, those
are our seats. She says that to me, those are
my seat. And I'm like, and I say it. I'm like, no, no, no,
Section six Road thirty seven, which is the actual thing.
And I'm like, oh, seats you know six or ten,
that's that's us. And she's like, I don't think so,
(01:11:41):
and go I'm I'm holding food and a kid. No,
don't forget. I've got a clear backpack on, and I
look like a child headed to daycare. One of you
is wrong, and I'm sweating so much. I'm just sweating
so much. No, she was. I will say this. She
is so sweet, y'all. We've not only been going back
and forth a million times, bothering everybody around us. We're
in the wrong seats.
Speaker 2 (01:12:02):
How did you do that?
Speaker 5 (01:12:03):
I'm like, she's telling me you're arguing when they're just
like you did the gap.
Speaker 1 (01:12:07):
I didn't.
Speaker 5 (01:12:08):
I did not argue.
Speaker 2 (01:12:08):
She was very nice.
Speaker 5 (01:12:10):
I was wrong. She was very nice, and I was like,
I think I'm in the I was in the wrong section.
I memorized the wrong I memorized our seats, but I
rememberized the wrong sec. I was two sections over. I
had the right row, I had the right seats, I
had the wrong section. It I didn't your own business.
Speaker 2 (01:12:26):
Hey, Aaron, Hey, back up, honey, No, no, back up.
We got to back out. I'm in the wrong.
Speaker 5 (01:12:34):
Blocking people, and I'm like, well, just let me just
let me get to the wrong seats and look at
my phone. I get we get back to the wrong
seats again. Look at my phone. I have to walk
past her again. And the lady's like, yeah, we've been
here for like ten years, and she was pretty sure yeah, And.
Speaker 2 (01:12:48):
I was like, you have been here in ten years?
I think I'm wrong, y'all.
Speaker 5 (01:12:53):
Is so embarrassing. I felt so stupid. I felt like
such an eat and I'm sweatings.
Speaker 2 (01:12:59):
He's disturbed, section he shouldn't even been. When she first
brought it up, he was confident. He was right.
Speaker 5 (01:13:04):
No, no, no, was he?
Speaker 2 (01:13:08):
Do you not see what shirt I'm wearing. I used
to own this camp. I was on Wile or whatever.
It's gone. It's exactly what staff on the back point.
So you're getting started. Have you missed it?
Speaker 5 (01:13:23):
Ring, ma'am? I've walked past you like four times already.
I wish you I'm so sick. She was just being
she was being so nice, and surely she thought every
time we were leaving, we weren't coming back.
Speaker 2 (01:13:32):
I guess it was her seats, but they were open
at the moment.
Speaker 5 (01:13:35):
Yes, the half of her crew wasn't there yet.
Speaker 2 (01:13:38):
Greg. This also means that when he kept leaving, she
would lean over and go, I don't know who this is.
Speaker 3 (01:13:44):
Who is it?
Speaker 2 (01:13:44):
Who?
Speaker 5 (01:13:44):
Is this, and so I know you have to do
the Walk of shame back up two sections two sections off.
We have to do the walker standing back and they
have these like these like blinds up that so you
can't see when you're up in that level, you can't
see onto the field. I'm like, if I miss this
stupid eagle flying, here's a picture of my face. Y'all,
please look at how stressed out I am. Ready here
(01:14:06):
it is.
Speaker 2 (01:14:09):
It's very stretched.
Speaker 5 (01:14:11):
So we find our seats, all right, hang on.
Speaker 3 (01:14:13):
Here is the Rick Burgess show.
Speaker 6 (01:14:21):
We have been left with Adler getting into the Auburn game.
If you're just joining us, His family went to the game,
first time his kids have ever been to an Auburn
football game. They're experiencing what it's like, which I know
had to be pretty cool. But he's in the wrong section,
explained to his kids when he was screaming some lady
about right.
Speaker 2 (01:14:39):
And the big thing is that he wants to see
the dang eagle and now it's in jeopardy because of you.
You're in the wrong seat.
Speaker 5 (01:14:48):
I'm worried that we're going to miss the eagle. While
we're in the bathroom.
Speaker 2 (01:14:51):
Your food's getting cold.
Speaker 5 (01:14:52):
I'm worried we're going to miss the eagle while we're
getting food. I'm worried now that we're going to miss
the eagle because I have to go to two sections
over because I'm an idiot. I mean, yo, I've been
going back and forth. I feel just so stupid. I
just feel so so stupid.
Speaker 8 (01:15:09):
Too many people were within earshot and heard the conversation,
and then you had to walk in front of.
Speaker 5 (01:15:14):
Him, and well, I have a don't miss I have
a small clear backpack on that has like toys and
diapers in it. I look like a child. I'm holding
a child. I'm holding a big old thing of food
that won't close. The lid won't close cause it was
free food number one and number two. I didn't want
to have to go back again. So I'm like cookies,
hot dogs, ships crammed in, and I'm like trying to
(01:15:38):
carry all this stuff and it's not easy for us
to get in out, so the entire section is always
aware when we're coming.
Speaker 2 (01:15:43):
In and out, here come the kid.
Speaker 5 (01:15:46):
We've done four times already, and then to find out
that we're in the wrong section.
Speaker 2 (01:15:51):
Yeah, hey, John.
Speaker 6 (01:15:53):
That the listener came and clutch with these tickets, I
mean clutch. Yeah, you think about how much you know,
how I am. Concessions saved you alone. Yes, that was
very kind of him. So so you're trying to make
it to the new section and and not miss the
eagle Yes.
Speaker 5 (01:16:10):
Okay, we want to see this eagle fly because it's
a wonderful and sweet and precious moment for our children
to see.
Speaker 2 (01:16:17):
You.
Speaker 5 (01:16:17):
You didn't say that a lot, you know, so I'm like,
I'm embarrassed. I am, I am. It's just stupid. I
look like an idiot, took my kids to the wrong
spot multiple times over and over again, bothered the whole section.
I'm like, all right, back up we go carrying the
and I'm sweating so much I cannot stretch, y'all. How sweating?
How sweaty I am? We finally get to the correct section,
(01:16:41):
the correct area within, guys within and oh, by the way,
in pregame, when did they start blaring rap music so
loud you can't even hear? The pregame is just like
all of this mania and going. I'm trying to get
this figured out while rap music is just blair.
Speaker 2 (01:17:00):
That's coming from a guy who was on staff. If
you want to know when you're.
Speaker 5 (01:17:04):
Old, it's now, I'm a thousand years old right now.
Speaker 8 (01:17:07):
I agree with you that they've been doing a high
school games to the point that he gets on your
nurves and.
Speaker 5 (01:17:11):
Mix it up a little bit. Can we get some
classic rock in there?
Speaker 2 (01:17:14):
Maybe too.
Speaker 5 (01:17:15):
I mean, it's just classic rock.
Speaker 2 (01:17:16):
It's just very Hotel California.
Speaker 5 (01:17:18):
Get out of yard. It's it's alarming. And I've got
headphones on my kid because he was freaking out, and
it's just I'm a thousand I understand, I understand.
Speaker 2 (01:17:27):
It is irritating.
Speaker 5 (01:17:28):
We get to we get to the correct section, We
get to.
Speaker 8 (01:17:31):
The correct somebody would have been sitting at him and
you had to tell him to get up.
Speaker 2 (01:17:36):
Do you think he was coming there? You're sitting down there, We.
Speaker 5 (01:17:40):
Sit down, and all the eagle flies like two minutes later,
thank goodness.
Speaker 2 (01:17:46):
But look, kids, look in the air.
Speaker 5 (01:17:48):
The eagle is flying directly in front of us. The
eagle is flying directly in front of us, and we're
going whoa. And Ezra doesn't understand because the whole crowd goes.
The whole crowd is going, and he's like he thinks
something's going on. Like, what is happening? It's a ramping
up kind of anxiety thing. Ruby, I'm like, look, look,
(01:18:10):
there's the eagle. Ruby is looking up at the clouds.
She's looking up at the clouds, and I'm like, baby,
it's it's right in front of it's in front of you.
But she's looking up. We're an eagle normally would be
that's that's I mean, she's looking in the right spot.
She's thinking, okay, it'll be up in the clouds. So
she we saw it. We luckily another loop. It did
(01:18:34):
another loop, not nearly as much as I need care. Yes,
they cared a time.
Speaker 2 (01:18:38):
They started crying.
Speaker 5 (01:18:42):
It's great. Ruby asked, why do we say war eagle?
I had no real explanation for it.
Speaker 2 (01:18:51):
It's confusing to an adult.
Speaker 5 (01:18:52):
Really, it really is the lord behind It doesn't even
Lord doesn't even make sense.
Speaker 2 (01:18:57):
I thought we were the tigers.
Speaker 5 (01:18:59):
Yeah we are, but we also have an eagle. So
it's like saying, go tigers, war eagle, Go tigers. That's
what I tried to just simplify it.
Speaker 2 (01:19:07):
How about that wingspan. I think they just glides down.
Speaker 5 (01:19:11):
When the person is it is cool. I think it's amazing.
And when the person is holding it. That's when you
see how big the eagle really is, because it's as
big as their torsa, it's as big as their upper body.
It is a huge animal. It's very cool. And then
we seeing God Bless America, which was really nice. Did
you know that the band cut came out? The band
came out? Did God Bless America? Sounded great? And then
(01:19:33):
the national anthem. That was great. And then we got
a flyover with two like old school bomber planes, huge huge,
So that was great. Ezra almost missed that. He's big
on airplanes, but he almost missed that. No, I'm like, buddy,
if you don't look up and see this airplane flying over,
I'm gonna be real mad at you. Yeah, And so
(01:19:54):
that was fantastic. A little late on the flyover Home
of the Free and the Home of the Brave, it is.
Speaker 2 (01:20:02):
It's tough to time. Now, did you how many times
did you ask the kids? Aren't we having fun? Who's
having fun? Except for the seat thing?
Speaker 5 (01:20:11):
So that was great.
Speaker 2 (01:20:14):
How you doing down there? Honey? You okay? Are we
having a good time?
Speaker 5 (01:20:17):
God Bless America? That was I was. I was like, man,
I feel I feel atriotic right now.
Speaker 8 (01:20:22):
Got my seat, I finally got I know, all the
latest rap music turned down for what.
Speaker 5 (01:20:27):
I was not being not patriotic When I was giving
to my kid water. He was going to scream, I
want water throughout the whole national anthem. So I was
giving him water because he wanted it right then. And
I pretty much just children the entire time. The entire
time I was there, I was pretty much just serving children.
The first play of the game was a touchdown. I
(01:20:49):
don't know if y'all saw that. Auburn's first play of
the game was a touchdown. That was huge.
Speaker 6 (01:20:54):
Hey, that rookie, that freshman quarterback with something else. At
one point, it was not good, wasn't it.
Speaker 5 (01:20:59):
I mean, well, they were beating us at one point too.
That was odd. That was okay, mercer. If we lived
a mercer, that's gonna be unfortunate. And then so we're
in those lower section seats and we're like, you know what,
this is good, but let's go up high for the halftime.
We want we want to see the.
Speaker 2 (01:21:17):
Ruining every section after what happened.
Speaker 5 (01:21:21):
For we're figured, you know what, we can cut down
our ruining of time for people in half if we
split our time between the sections. So we decided to
go up. Uh and on the ramp. That's that's the
most fun that the kids had on just walking on
the ramp. And I have a.
Speaker 2 (01:21:35):
Story, okay, show.
Speaker 6 (01:21:43):
He's experiencing going from section to section, seeing if you
can sit in about every one.
Speaker 8 (01:21:47):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (01:21:47):
And you left us saying that y'all were moving up
to the upper deck.
Speaker 5 (01:21:51):
Yes, and these are the tickets that I initially and
they were aisle and front row, so that was up
the upper the upper deck.
Speaker 2 (01:22:01):
Do you think you left those people were glad?
Speaker 5 (01:22:04):
Yes, everyone was glad. I'm bumping people with a diaper
bag backpack. I mean, kids are spilling drinks. Oh, by
the way, there was if there's a puddle on the
ground and you put your little shaker, If you put
your shaker in that puddle and then you shake it around,
everybody's gonna get little flecks of dirty water on them,
which everybody loves having that.
Speaker 8 (01:22:26):
When you were leaving the tickets in there, that old
lady yelled and stay out.
Speaker 5 (01:22:30):
Oh she was so glad to see us go hey again.
She was very nice and I was nice back. It
was it was just uncomfortable because I was in the
wrong spot.
Speaker 2 (01:22:39):
Memorized, kids.
Speaker 8 (01:22:41):
I've never I've always had to, you know, make sure
you never to memorize the digital copy.
Speaker 2 (01:22:45):
Of hard copy. I don't memorize tickets. But go ahead,
I walked a hundred feet would I walked a hundred.
Speaker 5 (01:22:55):
I got in, scanned the ticket, got in. I was like, okay,
that's where we're going. All right, that's where we're going.
And then that time I went from one section to
the wrong section, and so now we're going up to
our original tickets that are up in the upper deck
front row. And it was, guys, it was honestly, I
was like, we should have been here the whole time
because there was a lot more rooms and except for
(01:23:15):
the free food, yeah, yeah, that was nice. When we
got to the ramp, the little spiraling ramps, yeah we
had room, and the kids were like yay, hooray, and
they we ended up hanging out on the ramps for
a blood portion of the time. And in fact, we
went to our our real seats in the lower section.
(01:23:35):
We were in our wrong seats longer than we were
in the right seats in that section. Just you know,
give you an idea, just basically for the Eagle and
God bless America. So we get on the ramps. It's open,
and wow, my stress level.
Speaker 2 (01:23:48):
Went down any from playing. No, everybody was good.
Speaker 5 (01:23:52):
It was good. I will say we wanted we wanted
to stay for for halftime, just to see the band
and the flag girls. My daughter's loves cheerleaders, she loves dancing,
she loves cheers, she does all that, so we definitely
wanted to do that several times. And I'm a thousand
years old. I know I'm a thousand years old. I
haven't been I haven't been to the games in a while.
(01:24:13):
It's been a little while. When did they start like
interrupting the marching band with rap music?
Speaker 2 (01:24:19):
I haven't seen that, y'all.
Speaker 5 (01:24:21):
Several times the band was like doing a nice little diddy,
like that's great during their show during the game, not
during the halftime show, but during the games. This is nice.
But several times over the sound stsm and I just
(01:24:42):
watched the conductor have to be like, all right, guys
with it where that's where.
Speaker 2 (01:24:45):
I try to work together.
Speaker 5 (01:24:47):
But they got cut off several times. It was like, oh,
this is a nice little and then everybody get your
freaking I'm like, what is happening? Everybody, get your freak
What does that even mean?
Speaker 2 (01:25:00):
Like, what is it?
Speaker 5 (01:25:00):
I'm a thousand I'm scared. The loud noises are scared. Yes, yes,
I know, I'm a thousand years old, but that was
new to me. Also new alcohol had. I haven't been
to a game since. Alcohol has been kind of pounded
a bazillion because I was so stressed out.
Speaker 2 (01:25:17):
Hey, Greg, pass that down.
Speaker 5 (01:25:20):
I got two kids. I'll take two of those for
each of the kids.
Speaker 2 (01:25:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:25:25):
We get up to the upper section and we're watching.
It's great. Here is a little bit of a halftime
action here. Yeah, and Ruby loved it, y'all.
Speaker 8 (01:25:34):
It was just, oh, yeah, well you are up there.
Speaker 5 (01:25:40):
She danced with her little thing the whole time. Y'alls.
He so done, y'all, he is so done. I cannot
stress how done that little boy was. By the time
we got to halftime. I'm like, oh, just you're almost there, buddy,
you are almost there. Ruby d us with her little
(01:26:00):
palm pump streamer thing the entire the entire time. It
was so sweet. But y'all, I want to show you something.
I'm gonna wrap this up. This little this this little
wall right here that you can see here. See this
little wall right here. It is it's a concrete wall
below the rail and it is what two or three
(01:26:23):
inches wide? Right, Yeah, all right. So I'm sitting there
in the game, and in front of us, in front
of the whole section, a dollar bill floats up from below,
floats up. It's just floats up from below in the air.
Speaker 2 (01:26:41):
Huh. And that's a long way from Yes.
Speaker 5 (01:26:46):
Just a single dollar bill and it is kind of crinkled,
kind of folded, but a single dollar bill is floating
in the air in front of the second.
Speaker 6 (01:26:55):
And there's not for those of you can't say they're
at the front row of the upper deck, there is
nothing in front of the except air.
Speaker 5 (01:27:00):
Yes, And so that was that's weird. The whole section season.
It the whole section season. It's out in front of us,
and people are like, oh, look, the whole section. There's
you know, twenty thirty people now watching this dollar bill
float in front of us. And I have Ezra on
my lap at this point, so I'm just seated. The
(01:27:22):
dollar bill starts coming towards our section and the people
to my left, there's a couple of dudes on the
front road to the left, and they start reaching for it,
and it is like dancing barely out of their reach.
They can't get it. And I'm just sitting here watching it,
and y'all, that dollar bill flitters and flutters while the
(01:27:42):
whole section watches it, and I'm not joking you stops
and lands directly. It landed on that concrete right in
front of me. The dollar bill just stops and lands
there in front of me. And so I'm holding Ezra
and I just reach out grab the doll dollar bill
and hold it up, and the whole section goes.
Speaker 10 (01:28:02):
Yeah, what in the world, Ye, I watched it, just
the flutter fluttererson lost in the flo flutter flutter, flutter, flutter,
flutter land And there it is right.
Speaker 2 (01:28:12):
It came from below.
Speaker 5 (01:28:13):
It came from below, fluttered in the air, landed on
the eighth It's only asbout as wide as a dollar bill,
and it just landed right there.
Speaker 2 (01:28:22):
Kind I mean, it really wasn't even that windy.
Speaker 5 (01:28:26):
It was the craziest thing ever. I'm like, what is happening?
Speaker 2 (01:28:29):
Dollar from heaven?
Speaker 5 (01:28:30):
Am I the matrix? Did I do that with my mind?
I've just picked it up. I held it up in
the air while I'm holding Azra. The whole the whole
sections like whoa, and then I hear the hero And
then I handed the dollar bill to Ruby because I'm
just such a good dad. And everybody was like that
also deserve that dollar.
Speaker 2 (01:28:48):
And here long he's been in every where it came from.
Speaker 5 (01:28:51):
That's the weirdest thing.
Speaker 2 (01:28:52):
Whatever. Obviously the draft or something just kind of pushed
it up. Somebody just holding in their hand.
Speaker 5 (01:28:56):
I guess so, but if you lost your dollar, I
got it.
Speaker 2 (01:29:01):
If it floated up, maybe it's that lady you were intercepts.
Speaker 5 (01:29:04):
Yeah, maybe it was that lady. So I'd already taken
enough from her, so hopefully not. We we rode home.
Ezra slept the entire way home. We get home and
Ruby is holding her little Pom pom and she's dancing
to God bless America and in her little thing. I'm like, oh,
this is all worth it. I love America and Auburn
and I love my feeling.
Speaker 3 (01:29:25):
Here's the Rick Burgess Show.
Speaker 6 (01:29:32):
Rick Burgess Show, thank you so much for being with us.
Rick not with us today, Lord willing coming back soon.
I am speedy, Greg Burgess, Chris Ady van Adler.
Speaker 2 (01:29:42):
We're here running things. We thank you so much for
being with us.
Speaker 6 (01:29:44):
If you've missed any part of the show, which Adler
going to the Auburn game.
Speaker 2 (01:29:48):
Was was was priceless. Robert.
Speaker 6 (01:29:52):
Yeah, if you missed in you that the archives will
be available shortly after the main show, go check all
that out.
Speaker 2 (01:29:59):
I wish die a goat may But it sounds like
you didn't know.
Speaker 6 (01:30:01):
But it sounds like to me, the most entertaining thing
about the game. By the way, we're doing unscreen phone calls.
Go ahead and call eight eight eight six two four
forty eight sixty nine eight eight eight six big box,
holler right now.
Speaker 2 (01:30:11):
We're gonna attempt to do it.
Speaker 6 (01:30:12):
But it seems like the most entertainment part of the
game is is is the dollar the phantom is the
ramps going up they got to play, And then the
floating dollar bill.
Speaker 2 (01:30:23):
Yeah, those are the two things.
Speaker 5 (01:30:25):
Yeah, there's ruby with the dollar bill.
Speaker 8 (01:30:27):
And you thought that, look at that, it's pretty good
with You thought that the eagle flying was impressive.
Speaker 2 (01:30:32):
How about a dollar bill that just comes out of nowhere.
Speaker 5 (01:30:34):
It was so weird it just floated in front of
the whole section. Well, everybody's like, well, there's a dollar
bill right there.
Speaker 2 (01:30:39):
It had if.
Speaker 8 (01:30:40):
Someone had to been sitting there and took it out
and they and it just that's just weird.
Speaker 2 (01:30:45):
Just I guess from underneath there's just the wind, and
I guess, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:30:49):
It was. It was really sweet. Like I said, we
got home, Ezra slept the whole way. Ruby slept for
twelve hours. She never does that. She slept for twelve
hours the following night. But man her with a little
auburn thing at home going, uh, God bless a area
the home, sweet home, God bless she does. Just stung
(01:31:09):
on a loop when we got home. So that was
very cool.
Speaker 2 (01:31:12):
She didn't pick up some of the rap music. Yeah,
that's true to the yes, uh as I said. Eight
eight eight sixty four forty eight sixty nine, unscreen phone calls,
y'all play nice. Greg's already impressed. You know, yeah, anymore,
y'all after right.
Speaker 6 (01:31:30):
That's why I jump out to the phones here eighty
eight six, big box, unscreen phone calls, go ahead, you're live.
Speaker 7 (01:31:36):
Yeah, Hey, I got a request for y'all.
Speaker 5 (01:31:38):
Y'all gotta do it.
Speaker 4 (01:31:39):
Seeing how Rick's not gonna do it, we need to
gobble gobble, So please.
Speaker 6 (01:31:44):
I hear you, and I understand that. And that's why
I said earlier it's normally one of the two. It's
I love it, Please bring it back to to I
hate it. And there were certain things that were just
it so Rick and Bubba that it just stays in
that men, you know, and and we want to make
it a good decision that that's just one of them.
(01:32:04):
And so we appreciate y'all so much for understanding that though,
and for those of you that loved it, it's it's
gonna be all right. Uh So eight eight eight six
big vox unscreen phone calls. There's some lines open now
if you want to holler at us, go ahead, you're live.
Speaker 4 (01:32:18):
Hey, guys, I just want to let Rick know we're
praying for him.
Speaker 2 (01:32:21):
Thank you.
Speaker 4 (01:32:22):
Without him, the show's really duty true.
Speaker 2 (01:32:26):
And so true. That's a good Here we go, jumping
back out your live unchscreen phone calls.
Speaker 4 (01:32:32):
Go ahead, thanks me, I got something you can gobble.
Speaker 6 (01:32:36):
Okay, well all right, well it didn't take long. Good
it didn't see what you do. All right, let's jump
back out.
Speaker 5 (01:32:44):
It doesn't like you, No, I guess I stole his
girlfriend in college.
Speaker 2 (01:32:49):
There it is.
Speaker 6 (01:32:50):
They never forget eight eight eight six two four forty
eight sixty nine.
Speaker 2 (01:32:54):
What's up? Unscreen phone calls, go.
Speaker 4 (01:32:55):
Ahead, Hey, good morning fellas.
Speaker 2 (01:32:59):
Hey what's up? I forgot I was live. I thought
I was in the break room with you.
Speaker 4 (01:33:04):
Greg, I was at the game. I was at the
game too, And uh, Alan must have been in season
sixty one, because that dollar bill was like five rows
in front of us. And uh, I'm not a big
internet guy, so I had no idea what alert looked like.
So I was kind of taken back by what he
looked like when he held the dollar bill up. But
I wish I could have shook his hand, so.
Speaker 2 (01:33:24):
You didn't see it. You saw It's cool.
Speaker 4 (01:33:27):
But another thing too, aler, could you understand a word
the dude cheerleader was saying, trying to do all the
cheers because he sounded like to me, he sounded like
he's been smoking like a pack of marble red every day.
Oh wow.
Speaker 5 (01:33:43):
He almost did it in like a weird, uh like
military way.
Speaker 2 (01:33:47):
Like.
Speaker 8 (01:33:49):
Anytime you're at something like that, do you participate?
Speaker 2 (01:33:53):
Do you actually when they start all that?
Speaker 6 (01:33:58):
I just a tough job. I bet he has no
voice after the game to get his voice back.
Speaker 5 (01:34:05):
You're right, he was. He was struggling.
Speaker 6 (01:34:07):
Uh, let's jump back out more unscreen phone calls, go ahead,
you're live, Thanks for calling.
Speaker 2 (01:34:11):
Combat come up a bone ash, Okay, say this one
guy is going to run. I don't know if it's
one guy or not. Now I think the audience is
trying to have fun.
Speaker 5 (01:34:22):
That's just Uh.
Speaker 2 (01:34:27):
Can I tell you, I really think it's fun. It's
got something about the tone. Well, when I heard the tone,
I was like, I probably need to let that go then,
and then he just I just kept it on. Uh hey,
Rick Burgess show, You're live. Go ahead.
Speaker 4 (01:34:43):
Look, my kids were acting up over the weekend in
the back seat while we were taking a little trip,
and I used the gobble Gobbles.
Speaker 2 (01:34:50):
On hone, the weaponized it.
Speaker 1 (01:34:54):
Listen to it one time.
Speaker 5 (01:34:56):
And uh then if if they wanted to keep backing up,
I would listen to it again.
Speaker 4 (01:35:01):
They both screamed up.
Speaker 2 (01:35:03):
They were so well behaved. It's not bad. I had
thought about that is that's a good idea.
Speaker 8 (01:35:08):
Use it to punish your you know, people acting up? Yeah, sure,
what about that guy keeps calling you?
Speaker 2 (01:35:13):
Go around? Let's go back out on screen phone calls
eight eight eighty six big vox. See they're doing it
for your reaction. Look how hard you're laughing. Let's let's
jump out. What's up your life?
Speaker 9 (01:35:25):
Oh? Yeah, this is David Reeves. I'm originally from Oxford, Alabama.

Speaker 9 (01:35:31):

a tiny one. But staff shirt Saturday.
Speaker 9 (01:35:45):
Uh and Greg, my father sold your dad at his house.

But have a happy Thanksgiving guy, and I'll talk to
you all later.
Speaker 2 (01:36:02):

Speaker 5 (01:36:09):

Speaker 2 (01:36:10):
I think if if it's who I'm thinking.
Speaker 5 (01:36:11):
About, probably wrong guy, But that's fine.
Speaker 2 (01:36:15):
A little step out on your part. But no, he was.
He was a little older than me. We didn't go
to school together, but okay, I.
Speaker 5 (01:36:19):
Grew up six houses down from you.
Speaker 2 (01:36:22):
Let's maybe have time for one more. What's up on screen?
Phone calls?
Speaker 9 (01:36:26):
Go ahead, Hey guys, Bruce Nashville. Have a request.
Speaker 7 (01:36:30):
This whole Christmas gift that you guys are making for
each other. Yeah, I think it has to be documented
with video evidence.
Speaker 2 (01:36:37):
Okay, Oh no, don't do that. Don't do that.
Speaker 7 (01:36:40):
Hold on, Hold on number one, the obvious reason.
Speaker 9 (01:36:43):
Okay, we can see it. Number two to watch Greg.
Speaker 7 (01:36:46):
Trying to set up a video to video himself making
something that's worked the whole day.
Speaker 8 (01:36:50):
Yeah, okay, I thought maybe cheated and got somebody to make.
Speaker 2 (01:36:54):
He's saying, there's comedy just in documents. I get. Yeah,
you clearly get lately, but I was thinking about cheating
so that. But don't cheat, Greg, We're not trying to
get through Collins. Go go buy something. I'll be right back.
Speaker 3 (01:37:08):
This is the Rick Burgess show.
Speaker 2 (01:37:16):
Things. Uh, you said something unique happened to you Friday?
Speaker 5 (01:37:20):
Maybe yeah, yeah, I'm leaving the studio on Friday, right
here past the ponds and all that, and I see
a lady driving a truck, red truck. Lady's driving a truck.
She's coming my way and her front front driver's side
totally flat completely she's driving it driving. Yes, I'm like,
oh my goodness, she's.
Speaker 2 (01:37:39):
Driving our sparks flying or you see it flat?
Speaker 5 (01:37:41):
It's just totally flat. No sparks yet, not shredded, but
totally flat.
Speaker 2 (01:37:45):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (01:37:45):
And so I'm like, from that guy, So I whived
around pull a yuwie. And she's actually pulled into one
of the office building parking lots right here too, So.
Speaker 2 (01:37:57):
I shouldn't make it here you come with a creepy
she probably scared to death. Here comes a greasy little guy.
Speaker 5 (01:38:03):
And she she's creeped out by the van. I pull
up behind her as she's kidnapping in my kidnapping van.
I'm like, hey you okay, idiot, do you not see
this time? And she and she goes it's just a
flat tire.
Speaker 2 (01:38:21):
Oh I got that, just a flat tire.
Speaker 5 (01:38:23):
I'm like, okay, so she knew. I wanted to make
sure she knew she wanted to keep driving because her.
Speaker 2 (01:38:27):
Car was what did you have to change it?
Speaker 5 (01:38:29):
Well? She with that note he left. She said it's
just a flat tire.
Speaker 2 (01:38:34):
But you go, well, ma'am, I'll be happy to change
it for you.
Speaker 5 (01:38:37):
Well, when she said it's just a flat tire, I
was like, okay, And so I'm about to leave and
I said, okay, have a good day. Too late for that, Yeah,
I said, have a good day and pulled pulled off. Okay,
have a good day. You left her, And I'm thinking
(01:38:57):
I just told a person who has a flat tire
have a good day. Too late. It's too late for that.
Speaker 2 (01:39:04):
She may we're good. I mean you you gonna change
this time, because if you are, I'll help you.
Speaker 5 (01:39:10):
She didn't want she didn't want my help. That was
my vibe.
Speaker 2 (01:39:13):
That's what you got from, was the vibe I got.
Speaker 5 (01:39:15):
I think, did you say.
Speaker 6 (01:39:17):
Okay, I just want to wanted Did you just say
I just wanted to make sure you were okay or
need any assistance?
Speaker 2 (01:39:23):
No?
Speaker 5 (01:39:23):
I said, okay, have a good day.
Speaker 8 (01:39:25):
That was a good day. Maybe you'll run out of
gas too. Yeah, you're getting better.
Speaker 5 (01:39:29):
Yeah, I hope you don't already. Loved ones that are sick.
Speaker 6 (01:39:34):
Late, you didn't even give it a chance to breathe,
like all having a good day.
Speaker 2 (01:39:40):
All right, I've checked it off the list. I stopped.
I'm out, I'm out. Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:39:44):
That's like when the waiter drops off your food and
he's like, enjoy your food.
Speaker 2 (01:39:46):
You're like you too, I know.
Speaker 5 (01:39:48):
And then they walk away, sponsor, and just you're just
hanging there with your you too. I was just sitting
in a quiet car thinking about my have a good day.
Speaker 2 (01:39:58):
You have a good day while you're stranded.
Speaker 5 (01:40:00):
Too late for that, buddy. Don't tell somebody to have
a good day if they have a flat tire.
Speaker 2 (01:40:04):
But indeed he is.
Speaker 5 (01:40:05):
Why don't you go sit in the wrong seats of
the Auburn game while you're at it?
Speaker 2 (01:40:08):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (01:40:08):
Do you think it's the I think the van presents
you as a I don't know. People don't how nice
and generous you are. I think the van makes it
make you look like you might be a little bit
of a creeper.
Speaker 5 (01:40:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:40:24):
We might venture over there and hit you guys up
for unscreened phone calls if you'll play nice. Greg says
it was fun having Gary with us last week.
Speaker 2 (01:40:34):
He came in, He came in the whole time. He's here,
he saying he's leaving. I said, you got an hour
to stay. Oh yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:40:43):
I've talked to him a couple of times this weekend
and he was, you know, he loves to go out
and eat with Miss Gwyn. They'll go out and he's
a talk of the town.
Speaker 2 (01:40:51):
They throw him out and they'll throw him out of restaurant.
Speaker 6 (01:40:54):
It's funny you say that because I ask him every time, Hey,
buddy all out eating again?
Speaker 2 (01:40:58):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (01:40:59):
And uh, he won't know if I was seeing anything
because I told him, you know, I was going hunting
with Leonor's and he was just so hot. It was
really more about, hey, it's opening day, let's just go
and we didn't see anything. But every time he's out eating, like,
good night, buddy man, didn't y'all sure to get out
a lot?
Speaker 2 (01:41:16):
Is he like foodie?
Speaker 5 (01:41:19):
He is a food he'll cook and then he'll go
out to eat too.
Speaker 9 (01:41:22):
Wow.
Speaker 5 (01:41:22):
Yeah, Gary all And by the way, can I say
something to Gary real quick? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:41:31):
Talk straight to him?
Speaker 5 (01:41:32):
Then Gary said, because we remember we watched that video
of that competitive yo yo.
Speaker 2 (01:41:40):
Gary Asian?
Speaker 5 (01:41:42):
Then we got to talk. Yeah he was Asian.
Speaker 8 (01:41:45):
Greg, A lot of Asians are good at yo yo. Okay,
I'm just telling.
Speaker 5 (01:41:50):
All right then, Uh, Gary made a joke that I
can't yo yo because it always hits the ground.
Speaker 2 (01:41:58):
Right, yeah, which was fun. It was a hype thing.
Speaker 5 (01:42:00):
You know, it's not funny.
Speaker 2 (01:42:02):
Gary thought it was hilarious his own joke.
Speaker 5 (01:42:05):
Hard what Gary?
Speaker 2 (01:42:07):
You know when he goes?
Speaker 5 (01:42:11):
He did and it was a good one. It was
really good. I gotta give give him credit. But it
bothered me all weekend. Guess what Gary?
Speaker 2 (01:42:19):
What I can yo? Yo? Gary can bring it out.
Speaker 5 (01:42:24):
Here and sleeping right now, y'all hear it?
Speaker 2 (01:42:26):
Yeah? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:42:28):
Let go?
Speaker 2 (01:42:29):
Is that is that the black wet well? You really have?
You really having to hold it high though it was
for the people, yoo like the game, don't hold it
up the camera.
Speaker 5 (01:42:39):
You asked about rocking the baby Gary? Eat that rocking
the baby boom? Is? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:42:46):
Is that electric or something? Something?
Speaker 5 (01:42:48):
I don't know if yo, I'm good at yo yo?
Speaker 2 (01:42:51):
Do it? Did you go by this? You went about
that because of Gary?
Speaker 10 (01:42:55):
No?
Speaker 2 (01:42:55):
I already had it with him all week Yeah, yeah,
proud yeah, I mean do it? Okay, here he comes
now he's coming out right now, he's standing on the
on the rug and he's got scary he's now he
still got it over his head still got it over
(01:43:17):
his head. That is free. That is a lot of talent. Yeah, okay,
Oh he's on the counter and that didn't go well,
But that's okay, that's okay, guys. I just realize you're
that good time.
Speaker 8 (01:43:29):
Look at him the cool stuff like yo yo, and
that reminds me.
Speaker 2 (01:43:33):
That reminds me.
Speaker 8 (01:43:34):
And I've been meaning to bring this for one year.
It was a round cred look at that.
Speaker 3 (01:43:39):
That's not bad at.
Speaker 8 (01:43:40):
It was a round Christmas last year. Have y'all seen
that you put that thing in the head and you
punched that ball? Uh huh, Yeah, I.
Speaker 2 (01:43:45):
Got one, and I've been meaning to bring it and
I haven't done. Standing on the counter walking across Oh yeah,
he's walking the counter, almost hit his head.
Speaker 8 (01:43:53):
Do you realize how much practicing he did this weekend
just so he could do.
Speaker 2 (01:43:57):
Oh it's yeah, only he could walk across the counter
and not hit the lot. Now you got around the moon,
around the moon, around the moon, Oh the world? No,
you got to go around and back ered is oh
here he goes he's Oh, hey, that's for Adler. I
can't wait. We'll figure out how he's doing that, because
it's some electric. Yeah, he's got some. Yeah, he's got some.
(01:44:19):
It's yo yo for dummies or something. That's okay.
