I was thinking out loud when I got home last night.

Greg and Speedy and me. We're gonna go tomorrow. Adler

we're gonna see and you know, I don't know, and

you know, talked to Brody. Of course he's, you know,
he can't come this weekend. Of course he's he's gonna
take vacation next weekend. And of course Brooks, I mean
now us, he's gonna got off work for you know,
extra day, so he's gonna be with it. And a
sudden alston I hear this, Hey, can I just stop
you from my wife? You're not going on vacation hunting
the entire time. And I was like, oh, oh, I
wouldn't say that. I didn't know that across that way.

Is that what it sounds like? Is that what it
just sounds like? Yes, you said, it sounds like you're
gonna be off for two weeks in hunt the entire
two weeks, like a good vacation. I was, I was,
I was. I was like, no, no, no, no, no, Pa.
So you're leaving out all the little things you that
we're doing. My goodness, there's a whole list of little

we got Christmas Eve. I saw you sent me something

that we got dinner with somebody. It's Saturday night. That's
why I'm not hunting the afternoon, hunt over the weekend. Uh.
And then I see we're doing something on Sunday with

This is where the ball got on the ground. I said,

it's almost like I told you. I mean, don't think
I'm gonna be on vacation not hunt at all. I
mean that would sound out like just if I said that,
because that's not true. So I said, So it's not
true that I'm not gonna hunt at all, and it's
not true I'm gonna hunt the whole time. There's a
nice little balance there.

Yeah, you're just gonna hunt in the morning and in
the afternoon. Sure there's a lot of time in between that.

the teams that are playing this weekend, any of them
that win, I don't see them going to the Semis

all playing this weekend, and I don't know enough about Oregon,
so I could be completely wrong about Oregon. I feel
good about them against James Madison though, But but it's

some of them had great seasons at the end of

the season. And I would say other than Old Miss
and now the kiffing thing now makes them a little tainted.
But they they all weren't playing as well at the
end as they were at like mid season. Yeah, you know,
and and and so that they didn't. They're not going
into the playoff playing their best football. Does that makes sense?
It does? So I would even say that with Oklahoma's quarterback,

you know, their offense is kind of falling off, their
defense is kind of carrying them right now. And he
had he was really on a road, but they were
talking Heisman and all that coming out of the Alabama's
quarterbacks kind of gone downhill toward the end. I think

want to be fired up for the playoffs, and I
know you can't help it. You're going to, I mean,
if you're trying to get the best teams. But I'm

just not excited about watching Alabama and Oklahoma again. Of

to watch it, but I'm just not that excited.

that's an uphill climb. That's a tough one. Yeah.

kind of goes to gets to the championship game, Alabama
or Oklahoma is the only SEC team in that top bracket.
In the lower bracket, Uh, you got Ole, Miss Georgia
and Texas A and M. So you don't see an
SEC matchup in the national championship game. Uh No, because

it would have to be Alabama or Oklahoma. And I'm
telling you, I'm telling you Georgia. I'm talking about everybody's

Surely all fan bases, you can look at your team,
can't you and take your glasses off and go, we're
either playing really really well right now or we're not
playing as well as we were. Uh at the peak
of our season, I'm injuries. Take take take the blinders off,
take the uniform colors off. Can't you just look at
it from a football standpoint? And I'm gonna tell you,

from a football standpoint, I was absolutely shocked at how
good Indiana is on both sides of the ball. How
they got is they're so much better than they were
last year. Uh It's it's shocking. And I don't I
don't know enough about them to know how they did it.

iol whatever, but they are a solid football team on
both sides of the ball, and so is Ohio State.
And I would say of the SEC teams playing right
now with with the grittiness to beat those two teams,
is Georgia. I don't think the other SEC teams are.
They don't look like they're good enough to beat those
two teams when the season ended. Maybe maybe they've got

their injuries fixed and all the teams are beat up,
so that's part of it, and maybe they've got their
legs under them, and a playoff is a new beginning,

football that I saw at the end of the season.
