Speaker 1 (00:05):
The Setta episode nine, Make your Own Adventure.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
You're literally at war with yourself, Nando, and I understand
how that feels.

Speaker 3 (00:18):
I was there for a really, really long.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Time, but I'm not there anymore, and I don't think
I can be with someone who is.

Speaker 4 (00:27):
Well.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
Just give me a chance. Goodbye, Fernando.

Speaker 5 (00:31):
What please?

Speaker 3 (00:41):
Oh, it's just a dream for none.

Speaker 6 (00:44):
Just remember breathing exercises. Dad six o'clock to night, drinks.

Speaker 7 (01:04):
At least he can't tell me I'm late.

Speaker 4 (01:14):
Come in, Fernando, I had the maid opened the cigar
lounge for us.

Speaker 7 (01:20):
Dad, what's going on here, scach? I'm fine, Thank you,
suit yourself. I have to admit I was surprised to
hear from you, especially after how things went to G's missing.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
Excuse me, she's been kidnapped. Are you serious?

Speaker 5 (01:44):
Right now?

Speaker 7 (01:46):
God, right when I was beginning to think we might
be able to have a normal conversation, a normal relationship.

Speaker 4 (01:52):
Oh, for Christ's sake, Fernando, sit down.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
I know who took. It's my partner, Damian.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
He left a ransom note in my office this morning,
demanding that I give him something.

Speaker 8 (02:07):
Remind me why I should care, Because Gigi is family.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
And what does this Damien want in exchange gig four
for what? Gigi's basically the key to your entire fortune.

Speaker 7 (02:19):
What could you possibly have that's more valuable than Gigi's life? Oh,
it's a literal key.

Speaker 4 (02:26):
This key, Fernando, belongs to a steamer say that Damien
and I acquired over thirty years ago. Damien and I
discovered the safe and its contents together, and we agreed
to trust each other and only each other with its
whereabouts excecept.

Speaker 7 (02:41):
You didn't trust him, of course, because the only person
a comment can truly trust is himself.

Speaker 3 (02:48):
Yes, exactly.

Speaker 4 (02:50):
The contents of that safe were too dangerous for our family,
for the legacy we'd already established, So I stole. I
hit it deep, deep in the Andy Mountains, and until
today I was convinced it was secure that Damien would

(03:13):
never find it.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
Except he did.

Speaker 7 (03:16):
And now Damien wants that key to unlock this mysterious
safe that contains what exactly? Let me guess. You're not
gonna tell.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
Me unless you know the better home.

Speaker 7 (03:27):
My god, what do you want from me? Dad?

Speaker 3 (03:30):
Gone your way into Damien's regime?

Speaker 4 (03:32):
Find Gigi extractor, bring the safe home together.

Speaker 7 (03:37):
Even if I did agree to help you find Gigi.
She's not gonna come with me.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
She's this business is fickle, Fernando. Things are always shifty.
Piece is always being moved around. Things can always change
if you play your guards right.

Speaker 7 (03:58):
Are you bribing me with business?

Speaker 4 (04:00):
You are the only person who can do this. You
and maybe that whine of yours, the one who fooled
both of you and Gig. I never saw that coming.
You have no idea when you bot you.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
A flight takes off at eight pm sharp.

Speaker 5 (04:16):
Leave.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
Now take the key and finish this. Finish this, finish this,
finish this. So what do you say? You're right?

Speaker 7 (04:33):
I do need to finish this.

Speaker 3 (04:37):
You forgot something, Oh right, Fernando, But that key with
your life. Now go.

Speaker 5 (04:53):
Taxi.

Speaker 9 (05:23):
Thank you all so much for joining us this evening
for the grand opening of the Museum's winter exhibit. Please
welcome to the stage our new head curator and the
man with the vision, Juan Gassilla.

Speaker 10 (05:40):
Thanks up, Melcome.

Speaker 2 (05:41):
Dead nerd, good evening, musing patrons, and honor guest. The
latest exhibit is the product of many, many hands working
to make this lifelong dream of mine a reality. Mayaboela
once told me life is the adventure you make it.

(06:04):
It doesn't have to be anything grand. Hell, it doesn't
even have to be remarkable. Adventure can be a wayward
brushstroke on a fresh canvas. It can be an accidental
divot in a precisely sculpted piece of marble, or a
chip on a frame. So when I sought out to

(06:27):
create the Museum's Winter Exhibit, I wanted to evoke that
very same feeling of an adventure, a forging your own path,
regardless of what you or others think you should be doing.

Speaker 10 (06:41):
Without further ado, it is my honor to present the
Museum's Winter Exhibit.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
M Jesus Christ.

Speaker 7 (07:05):
It's almost seven thirty.

Speaker 5 (07:06):
We're not even moving.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
Hey, buddy, I'm doing all I can here. I know,
I know, I'm sorry.

Speaker 7 (07:11):
I just I'm kind of in a rush.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
You the rest in New York?

Speaker 5 (07:15):
Is there any way to get around the trap? Try
the FDR?

Speaker 10 (07:18):
Do I look like I keep a little wand in
my glove compartment? Do you wanna give where you're going?

Speaker 4 (07:22):
Faster? Stop running?

Speaker 3 (07:24):
What you're right here?

Speaker 5 (07:27):
Just covered? And some extra for the trump? Hey? What's
this the job? What are you all with?

Speaker 10 (07:38):
Coluck?

Speaker 11 (07:39):
Come on hey, look out now I think that's Are
you crazy or something?

Speaker 5 (07:51):
Running in a bike lane? I'm sorry, I'm sorry.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
Hey, hey, hey, you that then my bike?

Speaker 5 (07:57):
You need to pay for that? Oh, I'm here here
you know what tickets bag?

Speaker 3 (08:01):
Oh my god, it's the holes ride a new bike?

Speaker 5 (08:09):
Oh god? What the hell?

Speaker 3 (08:12):
Excuse me?

Speaker 5 (08:12):
What's going on? Streets closed off for the parade? I
need to get through you? How to take the long way?
I don't have time for a role all sudden, that's
your plan on runey straight down the middle of the
parade route. Looks like your ship out of lock.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
Excuse me, excuse me?

Speaker 8 (08:42):
Sorry, like something's going actual tomato at me?

Speaker 5 (08:47):
What is wrong with.

Speaker 1 (08:49):

one particularly the parade like a mad man.

It's in an ergency on the mergency.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
Wait, guys, guys, guys, he's having emerging thing.

Speaker 10 (09:02):

Speaker 5 (09:04):

Speaker 1 (09:07):
So what's the emergency?

Speaker 3 (09:09):

Speaker 8 (09:09):

Speaker 3 (09:12):

Speaker 7 (09:14):
Something you're pretty sure you will regret every hour of
every day for the rest of your life. Okay, Okay,
so what if you were given a chance to fix it?
What if you were having the opportunity to put the
pieces back together, wouldn't you do everything in your power
to make it right?

to hate me, but please hear me out.

Speaker 3 (12:22):
I really messed up one.

Speaker 7 (12:24):
And it kills me that I still haven't figured out
a way to make it up to you, to show
you who I really am without.

Speaker 8 (12:28):
Any of the disguises or the or the lies, because honestly,
I haven't quite figured that out for myself yet.

you are when you're with me too.

in private.

Speaker 7 (13:28):
You trusted me to tell you the truth about G,
and I failed because I was afraid of what you
think of me, so I lied like a goddamn reflex.

Speaker 10 (13:37):
I get that.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
Actually, when I find out the truth about what happened
with G, I just suddenly felt so angry and betrayed,
and the only thing I could do was to.

Speaker 3 (13:47):
Hurt me back. Yeah, protect yourself.

Speaker 7 (13:50):
Yeah, anytime I think somebody's gonna hurt me, I have
to beat them to the pont or punch them harder.

Speaker 5 (14:00):
Sorry.

Speaker 10 (14:00):
Yeah, I'm sorry too for leaving it like that.

Speaker 7 (14:04):

need your help saving Gigi from the clutches of my
father's crazy ax business partner. What I know, it sounds insane,

Speaker 7 (15:06):

have is everything you've ever wanted, that it's enough for you,
and that this is as good as it's ever going
to get, then I will leave you alone. You will
never hear from me again. Look me in the eyes
