Speaker 1 (00:32):
All right, lots of talk about on today's show.
Speaker 2 (00:36):
The NFL Combine is just getting rolling this week. They've
got the coaches, the general manager, all of these important
organizational people in Indianapolis, and it's a week where tampering happens,
(00:56):
discussions happen that shouldn't be happening, and the terms a
blind eye. But on this show, I'm gonna tell you
and share with you Quesci Adolfo Mensa's shocking comments at
the NFL Combine.
Speaker 1 (01:12):
They're shocking. I tell you what.
Speaker 2 (01:14):
They are shocking. You are gonna hear these comments that
you're gonna be like, oh, our general manager said that,
are you flipping kidding me? But first, even Minnesota Vikings
fans saw that Timberwols game last night, down twenty five,
second half, down twenty three, to start the fourth quarter,
(01:38):
Anthony Edwards not playing in the fourth quarter at all
and coming in for the final two minutes for overtime,
and having a game saving block against Shaye Gilgis Alexander Walker,
who is going to be the MVP of.
Speaker 1 (01:58):
The NBA season.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
The Minnesota Timberwolves record moves to thirty two and twenty seven,
tied with the Clippers for the sixth spot, So it's
a big win. A couple of things come to mind
during this game. The first thing that comes to mind,
there's a lot of reaction to this game. My pastor,
my boss, texted me at like ten oh six, he
(02:21):
said best Wolves game.
Speaker 1 (02:22):
Of the year. So I'm like, what just happened? In
my mind?
Speaker 2 (02:27):
Before the game started, I thought I should really put
down one thousand dollars on this game, because the Timberwolves
are not going to beat the Thunder. There's no way
that they do, especially because they competed with them at
Target Center. They almost beat them then, and they're the
best team.
Speaker 1 (02:45):
In the league.
Speaker 2 (02:46):
So the thunder are going to dominate them because they're
the cream of the crop at home the next day
versus the timber Wolves. I didn't put any money on
the game, thought about it. Didn't do it, Minnesota, figure
out your legalizing game ambling thing. Maybe not because I
would have lost a lot of money if I did so.
Maybe I was saved by that. Anyway, my thought going
(03:07):
into the game, Tible is gonna get blowdown. Of course,
they're down twenty five to twenty three second half and
going into the fourth quarter with all the Anthony Edwards.
Speaker 1 (03:16):
Game's over.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
Yet some way, somehow, the Tyrolls come back to win.
And my analysis is not about the game. My analysis
is at how shocking it was that so many people
watched that game. Best tym Roles game of the year.
I saw on Twitter from fans left and right, from
(03:39):
my pastor watching the game when the Timberwols were down.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
Sixteen with under three minutes to play. It's like, why
are you watching that game? To begin with?
Speaker 2 (03:51):
At ten o'clock on a work night, school night, and
people are watching this rule game. If it was me,
I would have turned off that game with six minutes
left in the fourth quarter.
Speaker 1 (04:04):
Yet all I saw and.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
Heard was Timberwols fans reaction following the Timberwols win, So
that was cool. At one point, the Thunder had a
ninety nine point nine percent chance to win. The Timbrils
came back with Jayden McDaniels, Rob Dillingham, Nas Reed, Terren
Shannon Junior, and Nikill Alexander Walker against the best team
(04:29):
in the league. And this is why you don't get
too high or too low after every game. The Timberwolves
lose games that they should have won. This year lost
against the Wizards, but then they also defeated teams that
they had no business beating. At the end of the day,
it evens itself out. The Timberrowls were down by sixteen
(04:50):
against the Rockets with like five minutes to play a
couple months ago, came back and won. Timberrols down twenty
three against the Thunder, came back and won at all.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
Even to cell f out.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
You beat teams that you have no business beating, and
you lose to teams you have no business losing to,
because that's what happens during the course of an eighty.
Speaker 1 (05:09):
Two game season. And that's what we.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
Saw on Monday night, Timberwls versus Thunder. Okay for Questiodolfo
Mensa shocking comments. They're being interviewed by the local and
national media. Alec Lewis and Ben Gesling and the big
boys are there covering this event because it's the NFL Combine.
(05:34):
It's the next big thing after the super Bowl, after
the super Bowl, and what really happens somehow? This podcast
is still rolling, but it's definitely not NFL.
Speaker 1 (05:46):
Dominated at that point.
Speaker 2 (05:48):
There's a two week span there where it's like, wow,
what is there even to talk about? There's nothing, so
you got to kind of create topics in your own head.
But Alec Lewis at the NFL Combine sent out a
tweet and a quote from Quessey about Sam Donald, and
(06:09):
here's the shocking comment that nobody could ever pull off
except for Quessey himself.
Speaker 1 (06:17):
We have options. Wait wait wa.
Speaker 2 (06:24):
Quesciadopho Menza, with the shocking comment of the year regarding
Sam Donald and his future with the Minnesota Vikings, asked
about where Donald's gonna end up, what the Vikings plan
is with Donald? And the Minnesota Vikings do not tip
(06:46):
their hand at all in their comments about Sam Darnald.
Quescy Adolfo Mensa, we have options. We have options. Really,
(07:06):
we have options. That's what Quessei Adopo Mensa said.
Speaker 1 (07:14):
I'm at Sam Darnold.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
I ever, really don't know what he said at the
end of this I don't think he knows what he
said either. As the most surprising comment of the year,
but it really isn't. The Minnesota Vikings Organization never gives
media anything.
Speaker 1 (07:31):
They never give them anything.
Speaker 2 (07:34):
Last year, at the end of the year, it was
their intention to resign kirk Cousins. Of course, it was
their intention, but they knew the offer that they gave
kirk Cousins was not going to be the offer kirk
Cousins wanted.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
It was their intention to resign kirk Cousins.
Speaker 2 (07:54):
If you know anything about the Minnesota Vikings Organization and
who in charge, understand this.
Speaker 1 (08:04):
They never give a lick a small sample taste. You
only go through.
Speaker 2 (08:09):
Costco and they have a little sample in the hallways
in the intersections. Sample this cheese, sample these chips, Sample
this chips, and dip sample this meat. The Minnesota Vikings Organization,
they don't even give you samples. They don't even give
(08:30):
you a slight taste of what is going to happen
within that organization, which you could argue is a very
good thing, because the last thing you want are players bitter,
our players upset because you told the national media.
Speaker 1 (08:48):
Before you told the player. All the time you see
it in the NBA. Oh, how did you find out
you were traded? Oh?
Speaker 2 (08:54):
I saw a wos tweet or a Sham's tweet the
Minnesota or Adam Schefter tweet. The Minnesota Vikings organization are
top of the line when it comes to what they
reveal to the media, to the national media, and what
they keep inside.
Speaker 1 (09:17):
The organization.
Speaker 2 (09:19):
Kevin O'Connell also said this about Sam Donald at the combine.
Sam is in a position where the NFL thinks he
can play football at a very high level. Now this
makes you interested because his comment makes you wonder where
(09:43):
the Minnesota Vikings are going to go with Sam Donald.
O'Connell has been more clear than anything over these last
few weeks about where Donald rinks, you know, talking about
samples and trying to get a little taste.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
Kevin o'connam might have gave us a little taste on.
Speaker 2 (10:03):
Donald during his Super Bowl media tour where all he's
asking or answering are questions about where Donald is going
to end up.
Speaker 1 (10:15):
Next season.
Speaker 2 (10:17):
And he was very consistent with his comments and said
Sam Donald has earned the right to be an NFL
free agent quarterback, the marquee NFL free agent quarterback, which
tells me that Sam Donald is most likely moving on
to another organization, and the Vikings want that cap space
(10:42):
so that they can spend it on players that they
desire deeply in free agency because.
Speaker 1 (10:50):
They have the cap space to do it.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
You don't want to bring in a Donald who had
one great year but a past six years of failures
and a meltdown in the final two games of the season,
and when you're unsure of what his production is going
to be next season, and get all this gap space.
It's a big risk. The Vikings have to answer the
question did they maximize Sam Donald to their fullest extent?
(11:16):
And it appears that the Minnesota Vikings believe that they
did based on Kevin O'Connell's commics these last three weeks,
and the Vikings they need to make a decision really
really quickly.
Speaker 1 (11:34):
On Sam Donald because.
Speaker 2 (11:39):
The verdict on Donald needs to be figured out in
the next seven days if they are going to franchise
Tag Donald, because the tag deadline closes in one week
from today at three pm on March fourth, so the
Vikings have one week to franchise take Sam Darnald and
(12:06):
make a decision on whether or not they feel like
they can get a second or third round pick, or
even a first round pick if they're lucky. Four. Sam
Donald services from a carterback hungary team like the Raiders,
which everybody's talking about.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
And Raiders general manager John.
Speaker 2 (12:31):
Spytech also talked at the NFL combine, as pretty much
did every NFL organization, and he talked about garter Minshew
Aiden O'Connell and Carter Bradley, the quarterbacks on the Raiders roster,
and he said, we'll see if those guys are where
we need to head or if we got to add
(12:51):
to it, but we got to win more games. They're
not in enaborn with their quarterback room, and they just
brought on Tom Brady as as a minority owner, so
they're bringing in a different guy.
Speaker 1 (13:05):
That's the most obvious thing in the world.
Speaker 2 (13:07):
Whether that's through the draft or free agency or sign
and trade with the Vikings.
Speaker 1 (13:11):
The Raiders need to make a move now. Is it
for Sam Darnold.
Speaker 2 (13:15):
Are the Vikings going to take him to trade him?
That's something that I'm going to talk about tomorrow or Friday,
because it's a big conversation that needs to be had.
But this podcast was focused on Quescy Adolfo Mensa's shocking
(13:36):
comments of we have options. I wonder if the Vikings
organization QUESSI and Kevin o'conn. I wonder if they leave
the podium, crack open a bud light or a michelob
(13:57):
golden light and say I do if they laugh, knowing
that they gave the media absolutely nothing. I wonder if
they have a good time together laughing at their comments.
Speaker 1 (14:13):
And discussing what they revealed, because it.
Speaker 2 (14:19):
Is the most obvious comment in the world that everybody
knew and that was nothing new. So anyway, this podcast
is all about revealing Quesci Adolpho Menta's most obvious comment
in the world.
Speaker 1 (14:35):
We have options. We have options? All right? Thank you
everyone for watching and for listening.
Speaker 2 (14:42):
If you made it this far, congratulations everyone, have a
great day, and thank you for making this podcast par
every day.
