it's one of those throws that I've probably watched five

(00:28):
beauty and the complexity all combine to one throw.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
And there's not even a defense. There's not even.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Anything to try to create chaos or conflict during this play.

Speaker 1 (00:49):
But this throw was still that amazing.

Speaker 2 (00:55):

not stop watching.

Speaker 1 (02:09):
Was by J. J.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
McCarthy and the recipient of the throw was Jordan Andison.
Let's take a look at this.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Did you see that.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
McCarthy takes a snap from behind the center. It's a
play action throw to no running back, and Jordan Andison
is running a road against no defense, with no defensive line.
McCarthy throws the ball. Let's just take a look at

(02:51):
his throat when Addison is not even out of his break.
This is a trustfull and they are practicing the trust fall.
McCarthy throws it and is preparing to throw it and
Jordan Addison still has not turned. Is there anything more

(03:16):
beautiful in the NFL than a quarterback throwing the ball
when the receiver has not yet broke out of his route.
And McCarthy and Addison are practicing that play, and they'll
practice that play a zillion times. And what I love

(03:39):
about this is practice makes perfect. This is what you
see behind the scenes that you don't see on NFL
Sundays or Thursdays or Mondays or Saturdays. Because this practice

(04:02):
right here between these two players is going to be
huge in the success of the Viking season.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
And there has been a.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Clear chemistry between Jordan Addison and jaj McCarthy throughout training camp.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
It appears that McCarthy.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
Likes to find Addison down the field, especially with Justin
Jefferson not available. And what's so interesting is that the
NFL has not yet disciplined Jordan Aison, and he still
faces NFL disciplined despite him pleading guilty to a lesser

(04:50):
charge of wet driving. A part of me wants to say,
what is the NFL waiting for come down with their discipline.
If you're gonna hand out a discipline, why is this
taking such a long time? So there's still time, obviously

(05:14):
for the NFL to discipline Jordan Aison, but maybe it's
a little bit more complex than we even think, or
maybe it's even possible that he will get.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Off without any suspension.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
Highly unlikely, but maybe there's a chance that Jordan Aison
is not suspended for the first three games of the
regular season.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
The throw, the.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
Timing, the accuracy right in the chest, and these are
the things that.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
Go on behind the scenes that we don't see.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
And that's what I love, because if you want to
be good at anything, it all happens behind the scenes.
If you want to be good at anything, your job,
your career, a sport, all the work needs to happen

(06:18):
behind the scenes. And that's what we are seeing from
Jaja McCarthy. To get to this point where I am
at right now, there was over eight thousand Jimmy John's
deliveries taken by bicycle, through the humidity, snowstorms, rain, sleet,

(06:44):
through five bicycles, through multiple bike crashes, through multiple apartments.

Speaker 1 (06:56):
I had to do things beyond.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
What I wanted to do to reach a level that
I wanted to reach. And that's true of anybody in
any profession that wants to be good at something, and
to see the repetition and the accuracy, and to see

(07:23):
two players working together on their craft.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
That's fun.

Speaker 2 (07:29):
And it's just one throw, it's just one play without
a defense present. But what makes it easier when a
defense is present is repeating the same play over and

(07:49):
over and over again until it becomes perfection, until it
becomes natural instinct, or you don't even have to think.

Speaker 1 (07:59):
About it anymore.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
So it's just one play, but this one play is
happening more than we realize, and this one play stands
for something bigger than we realize. This one play is
going to really paved the way for McCarthy moving forward,

(08:24):
and it's really a story of what's happening behind the
scenes that not everybody sees. A fan caught the video,
the NFL posted the video on their x account, and
it's just a simple play. But there's nothing more prettier
than a quarterback releasing the ball, trusting his wide receiver

(08:47):
to break, and the receiver trusting the quarterback to throw
the ball when he's supposed to throw the ball, and
that wide receiver catching the ball. So there's got to
be a delicate balance between analyzing the play for what
it is, understanding that there's no defense, but also realizing

(09:10):
that this place stands for something bigger than just one play.
It stands for the work, It stands for the timing.
It stands for futuristic moments between these two players, gathering
chemistry and creating cohesiveness. Moving forward, let me tell you

(09:32):
about Hopeland Farms beef because they have the best rotationally
greats one hundred percent grass fed beef. Contact Jared at

the good stuff. Contact Hoakland Farms Beef nine five two
