Speaker 1 (00:01):
Trap Nuts, Trap Nerds. Welcome, Welcome, Welcome, Welcome to another
exciting episode of a trap Nerds podcast. We got a
w this piece, man, and we're in this piece, bro,
we got a very special episode. I skipped the we
in this piece last week. Yeah you didn't. That's why
they don't judge me. Sometimes sometimes I feel to win

(00:22):
this piece and sometimes no, you do it all the time.
You did this in the country. You do it all
the time. Snap and giggles all the time. Go ahead,
what what? What? Hold on? But we got a very
special guest today on this last women's history episode. Uh,
really popular social media influencer. This guy's all over the

(00:44):
last He's putting on so many black comic book artists,
so many black animators. Look, I love our work on
social media. Everybody fantastic. Frankie is here. There we go. Yeah,
I'm excited. Thank you for having me. Yeah, ain't about it.

(01:04):
With the name Aboudy, with the name, the word fantastic
in the name, got a lot to live up to.
Man o, man, thank you. I wanted it to sound
like I wanted it to sound like a superhero. Um
and I got the name. I was hanging out with
some friends. We went to afro Chella and Ghana and

(01:26):
I was like, yo, I want to start a page
like this and he was like yeah, like fantastic freaky.
And I was like, did she just said we went
to the Afro something in Ghana. Yeah, I Felchella, so
um there's a group. Yeah, don't play no attention like
he kind of like, I mean, I just asked the question,
what are you talking about? Evil? And it is because

(01:49):
he is evil and we just gotta set you We
just gotta set you up before I can't see him
for a reference his camera, not even I'm saying that's crazy.
It was supposed to be like a family thing. That's
what it was marketed me as I'm one of the
family ones that don't show up sometimes. So I see,
I see he didn't want that. You got to leave
in the room when company come over. Long story short,

(02:11):
he ain't ship. But go ahead. What you were saying,
I'm sorry for the cut off, not gonna gone. Oh yeah,
I was just saying that, you know, a group of
young black professionals started this um like event in Ghana
for like African Americans to like it's like a pilgrimage
in the way that like Jewish people go to Israel.

(02:32):
So like they take you to Cape Cold so you
can see like where the trans Atlantic slave and trade
was and like get the history there and then after
we just party for like a week during Christmas. So
and then they make it affordable because it's a group
of us and stuff like that. So if you guys
haven't um checked it out, it's actually pretty lit. And Africa.

(02:54):
I feel like people don't visit as much as like Mexico,
but I spent around the same amount of money, um,
and it was way way more late. Everybody was black,
and like I'm from the Islands, and it's like, you know,
like to I'm like, um, my mom's from Saint Kids
and my dad's from Puerto Rico, and it's like they

(03:14):
were black. They were black people there, but like the
Islands are still colonized, right, so like the money has
a queen on it and stuff like that, versus Africa
is at least Gona. The president's black. Everyone there is black,
and it just changes your perspective and it reminds you
that like, yeah, we're the minority here. I don't want

(03:35):
to say I like just really, but it's gone to
the country where the black people still speak British is hell. No,
you think in South South South Africa. Yeah, because they
they just got they just got free South Lassica, you know,
fifteen years ago, because that was like a few like
I know a lot of like Africa's they moved like

(03:56):
to Louisiana and ship they'd be from like South Africa,
so they'd be talking British is hell. If outs with me,
you just got a style, like you look African, then
I like, I know a white guy from South Africa
and he's like, I'm Africa. I was like, no, you
know what, stop saying that. You know, the islands are
like that too, right, Like Jamaica has a lot of
huge Chinese community. They have a huge um white community

(04:20):
and stuff like that. Um, so you know, you know,
the world is big. The world is big. But I'm
not here for history land. I just like traveling and stuff.
I want to talk about some comics. I'm excited. Well yeah,
well we used to start out yeah yeah, where we
say how a lot week going and stuff like that.
So you're right on track. So you're good your weekend.

(04:45):
My week is just a it was actually just a
week this time ship happened. You know, I went to work.
Shout out to Miller Light. I actually got bottles this time.
Goddamn went to work. I gotta I gotta replace a
piece on my truck and that I'm kicking it. I'm
in Dallas this weekend. I'm going to a great friends
confidence show tonight. I'm ready. I'm ready. I'm going there

(05:05):
and get drunk as hell. So so you're gonna go
to another person coming show. You're gonna miss ball. Never mind,
he said, snacks, bitch, bitch, just this that's one of you.
Was the persson. You're slapping them back to the head
for being I try to be nice and thank you,
thank you moment. How was your week? Um? You know what,

(05:28):
I had a really good week this week. Website sales
was popping. It was popping to night, gonna lie. So
I've been picking up a little you know, a little change,
ching ching, you know, was it checking and paining a
lot more? You know what I'm saying. So that was
exciting or that has been exciting. That has been and
will continue to be exciting. So, you know, just enjoying
my journey right now been really cool. You know, you know,

(05:51):
doing what I gotta do. You know, when you gonna
open up an actual end, people stout and here's standing
up some ship. Well, I actually am like the store
front in Houston. It's caught the paper collect through. So
it's like quite a few of us different things. It's
smartingo to sell hand baggs. Somebody know to sell clothes,
men's clothes, lingery, you know person lingerie. I know what

(06:17):
you met. I like that because that's somebody saved in
my head whenever I have to write it exactly, I
say lingle like something without spelled chicken. I just used
spell chicken everything. Do y'all say when that stay? When
you're spelling wednesday? Yeah, I have a freaking do that. Yeah,

(06:38):
you have just like I do that. I just I
just like, you know, I'm just so used to learning
that way where I have like certain devices to remember things,
you know what I mean. I never heard that. I
never had that when I was at school. I just
re memorized stuff. And this is this is how it
went from me. I never have to like break nothing. Yo.

(06:59):
That's how a lot of people teach teach children to memorize,
and then you realize you don't learn anything because you're
never anything. I just got a whole bunch of facts
in my head like a Snapple bottle. Right yeah, yeah, man,
that's why comics are important. It teaches you comprehendions out

(07:21):
of fantasy. Comic books taught me big words, yo, facts, facts,
um whatever. Well, well you're so sweet. Sometimes people were like,
I don't really have a New York accent, and like
my mom my dad to have like really thick accents,

(07:43):
and whenever they're like, why don't you have one, I'm like,
it's because I was like watching Batman Beyond and stuff
like that, Like that was what was like teaching me
how to seek. It was like Bruce Wade and stuff
like that. So like you don't have an e A dialect.
The Douve actors, you know, the Douve actors from dragonball Z. Yeah,

(08:04):
see look how shot you are? Yeah, you're you're that.
I always sound in New York shot to day Like
that is literally in my word now, like I can't said,
but it was a light one when I said it.
Our grand our grandparents influence was too strong on us.

(08:24):
We got their country accent. I love a country accent,
especially on women. It's so feminine to me, Mom, No, yeah,
because I feel like, you know, anyone the accent is aggressive.
You feel like a country action is all three thousands
of Plankton's cousins. No, I don't think it's aggressive. Yeah,

(08:48):
I think it's aggressive everybody. I think. I think northern
accents are aggressive. My money, like, yo, what what are
you doing? Like it feels like sometimes I'm talking to
people and I realized they're like taking it back or
they're retreating, and I'm like, oh, they think I'm pressing them,
but I'm just excited or like I'm just we don't
have that problem in general, like they are really I

(09:11):
like New York accents though, like yeah I don't. I
don't that's one enough. And we're confrontational and not saying
like rude, but we're like, um, we'll call out something.
So if you're doing something, I like, oh, what's the
purpose of like what you're doing? And like so it
always throws people off because they're like, why are you
asking me? You know what I mean. I'm like, no,
I'm not being upset. I'm just like genuinely curious, you know.

(09:39):
I just want to say now I'm here, like in
the South, life, if you was to ask somebody like
something like that, Like I mean, I don't gonna like
people gonna be like, but like generally, if you ask
somebody like you know, what is the purpose of this?
So why are you doing this? Like other people will
be like why are you? Why are you asking why?
But then you know what will happen because I used
to go to school and I went to school in

(10:00):
North Carolina, and like so where I would ask outright
what's going on? They wouldn't asked. They weren't confrontational in
that way. But then later they'd be like, yeah, what
was that about? Like you would know if you asked.
So we both were wearing the same thing, but nobody asked,
so we both noticed. Um, so yeah, that's another you know,
just being inquisitive. I think, and and you know, calling

(10:23):
things out when we see things are like big culture.
I feel like you're right. I feel like we are
more solid people because like you said, like for example,
like how you said like people of North till Kyle
things out. So for example, if somebody was doing something
like wrong, you know what I'm saying, why are you
doing it? What is the purpose that you're doing it?
Some somether. People would be like, my business, they want page.

(10:47):
New York people really know how to mind. We know,
we know how to mind our business. But like, yeah,
you're right, we don't snitch, but if it's something that
bothers us, we drop you. Hey, yo, well y'all addressing
that ship right there? Hey yo? If it's like with us, right,

(11:09):
if it's the fact that it doesn't affect us right
you put no, I'd be like, yo, what the y'alldress
that right there? Why is that like that? Yeah? What's
going on? This is this is off I'm not doing
Yeah yeah, yeah, like this is all stuff that's wrong here.
We're just gonna be like, yeah, yeah, facts, but normally

(11:30):
it affects us she's doing right. But then thinking I
ain't gonna say. But then it'd be something that's like
for all of us, right, Like we're in the store
and like the guy sneezing and making our sandwich and
y'all all quiet. I'd be like, hey, yo, what's going
on back there? By? Man? You know if you think
my sandwich, hey, you just need the mood? Okay, okay,

(11:59):
so the food's wrong, the wrong, you know what I mean?
Like if it's something that's okay, like someone skips all
of us, or like people, are you we got guns here?
We don't play that we got we got ignorant triggers.
You know what's so crazy about y'all all having guns?

(12:19):
Have you guys watched Cobra Kai parts? But a big,
a big theme about Cobra Kai is as the town
learns karate. As all the children in the town learned karate,
every interaction becomes way more dangerous. Right, So if I
have a confrontation with you, start hands. If I was

(12:40):
a cobra guy and I see like seven white kids
that no karate run up on just know they well
you see what I'm saying. That that's why they put
Cobra Kai and Cali and not in the South, because
they got right. I feel like you are right. I
feel like people in the South most of us because
you know, there are extremists everywhere. It's stupid people everywhere.

(13:02):
But I feel like Southern people like we'll start with
the hands, you know what I'm saying. But like Dre
I said, if it's seven white kids, you know what
I'm saying, they all know karate, and they all know karate. Yeah,
you know, I feel like I can sleep by three
of y'all, but now, yeah, gonna five, And you know

(13:26):
I wanted to line it up. I say we go
one by one. I don't mind, just walk away. I
feel like, okay, hey, he got hey Tony. Tony is
about to come in. Let's all make fun of him
for being like just staring. Now you know what I
was just started off? All right, all right, here you go.
I can't believe I came in on this Saturday and

(13:48):
on time, on time, and then you know, Tony didn't
even roll up. Tony come on time to have a
very special guest here, and then Tony just want to
stroll in. Mr Hollywood, how's it going to hate you?
And maybe it's not that special y'all y'all, for no reason,
Tony said, I'll be there? What I be there? Yeah,
let's jump. I'm sorry, I'm sorry jumping. Let's jump. Damn well,

(14:11):
get to be our characters and going to be our
jump Tony, ahead and make some avatars. Momo hit the road.
We've been to go on a mission. We're going well
actually technically, Tony. So how was your week, Tony? Wow,
my sneek's been all right, you know, doing a lot

(14:33):
of elder ring. Finally got a chance to play that
this week. Who Who's the last about you? Bet? I
have beat Riddon and Rinala. Okay, see you were on
the same ship. I beat both of them, and I
was like, you know what, I'm just been a grind
and just you know, get my level up up because
it's just stressed. Yeah, that's basically what I've been doing

(14:54):
sep today. Baby, you've been around so much to many
it was black folk. No, yeah, we still doing it here. Yeah,
my brother, I got I got three reviewers for you.
I've been watching some shows this week, man. First of all,
Vikings Valhalla. I like that. It's a good shows extention

(15:17):
from the Viking series from the History Channel. Yeah. The
only thing I think you like is they made they
y'all black. I hate when like I get you wait
the lady after that's a dude in like actual history.
I hate when this is this is, this is how,

(15:38):
this is his wife he died in the show. So okay,
because I heard that for no reason, it's been a lot.
It's been they've been doing this a lot. Letter so
I'm ready for everything. Type of ship I'm do you not?
Do you not? Like when you know, like more diversity
he's putting too shows. No, it's like I love the diversity,

(15:58):
but it's like it's like making James bun goddamn or
random Russian dude. I don't want to see a Russian James.
Why not? It's a moniker for a global company, James
bone anything that smooth, don't you know what I mean?
People have to remember that double oh seven is a classification.
That's like, finish my review. It's like if I made

(16:19):
my life story and they made me white us some ship.
I don't. But but you talk about two different things
like jameson never he's not real. Can we not go
out to Can I finish my review? I'm gonna go
ahead of me a good review. I'm gonna go watch

(16:40):
it finish. Good acting, good acting, good storyline. It's it's
a little more it's a little a little bit more
historically accurate than the first Viking show. But still they
still take they still take, they still take a different direction.
Stuff like that. Uh leif Erickson is in the show,
he liked he liked the main character Leaf, so so

(17:04):
if you know him, this show is a seven point
five out of ten. I'm giving it good show. So
it's like eight point five seven point five. So it's
an eight point five because if you say seven a
little harsh. Sometimes I've sold it's not it's not great.
It's not the greatest show, but so solid. It's it's

(17:28):
been enjoy Vikings. It's better than the last season the Vikings,
the original Vikings season six together, like if they just
kind of pulled a script out of their ass. I
was like, y'all, just y'all, just y'all feel rushed, um budget.
I don't know what went wrong in the last Yeah,
give me my sick like my sick, my sick, my

(17:49):
second one. I got one more after this one, my
sick one. The Last Kingdom another another Viking secret show.
Another good show. I love. I love the way they
ended this for the tip the episode. It was really good.
This show is. This show is probably one of my
top Netflix original series. That's how good the show is.
I love the Last Keeping. So that's it's getting the

(18:10):
aid out from it's getting aid from me. It's uh England.
When you know the when the Vikings the Danes was
coming to England and taking the old parts of the
ruling parts. It's all about this stuff and this dude.
He's trying to get this keen to back. Just watch
this real good. That's eight. It's better than Vikings to
me from the British Nigga's perspective on the Vikers, both
both and my last one. I watched the second season

(18:34):
of British Hey, So I was watching that, how do
you feel so far? You finished off? No? I finished
first half, like, I'm just gonna put it like this
from I ain't gonna get the rating nothing yet before
while I'm seeing like first season better, I'm just gonna
put it out that, like the first season better. So
I was worried because the dude's not in it right,
it's you don't feel the same. Yeah, I don't like

(18:59):
this of all, I don't like it better so forth
it's still it's still first But I I think it's
because the focus isn't on them anymore. And they felt
like that actor in particular takes so much attention, so
like it would be hard to make someone else the

(19:19):
main character if he's on the cast. You know. Yeah,
They're like, don't you feel like going into it all?
Even as they were promoting me. He really was the
center of attention. Like a lot of the writers came
because of him, you know, saying so you know what
did you'll not y'all what you know, like, what did
you all expect? You know what I'm saying to move

(19:43):
on from that story? Right? So the first story, Yeah,
the first story is supposed to be about Daphne and
going through her getting a husband, and you know, like
it's all the Bridgetins. So now either I just I
just read the press j yeah, scene than yeah, you welcome.

(20:05):
But still it's like when you when you make someone
so compelling. After that, it's like, damn, now now we're
comparing seasons. You know, the storyline. Just don't hit this
hard already. How was your week? Man? My week was good. Uh.
My first time opening for like a big comedian at
Sugar Sammy Saturday. I got to open for him. That
was awesome. That was cool. It was a sold out crowd,

(20:27):
so my first time doing like everybody, almost everybody in
there was like international, like they're from here, they're from Dallas,
but like they're from another Like they live in Dallas,
but they're like from another country. So there's a lot
of people that, you know, English wasn't their first language,
and you know I did good. You know, there was
like the laughter was looking like huh with the laugh
meter was looking like it was decent. Man. It wasn't

(20:48):
better than Sugar Sammy's, but it was good. Man was
up there, yeah left like there was no one laughing
and oh yeah yeah yeah yeah. It was fun though.
It was really awesome show. Uh. I lost the Rock

(21:10):
the Mic competition. Uh so, yeah, that happened Wednesday. No,
that was that. Why do people keep on saying, okay,
rock the mic music music too, that's why he laughing.
I think it's battle ramping or something. Yeah, it's it
was a stand up competition. I won the first round
like back in October, and we did the championships last Wednesday.

(21:31):
Uh yeah, but that's that's fire. Yeah. I didn't want to.
I didn't want to go to the finals anyways, because
like if the finals, we usually do a real where
the audience give you a suggestion, and in this one
they changed it up. She was like, I need you
to roast my my fiance. I was like, I don't
know him. I don't gonna roast him one who he
is and she's like, well, we're gonna give you some

(21:52):
some facts about him. He's a Texas long horn, saying okay,
that helps, and they're like other stuff. But I was like,
I'm not gonna do good at the finals. I didn't
make it two finals anyway, so it wasn't bad together.
All you had to do was just be like, all right,
pitch your fiance, right, I'm not good to make an
I'm not going to no, no, I'm kidding, but right,

(22:21):
but now it's just you just could have said may
naise and I would have me. The comedian nice. The
comedians on the lineup was really good. And to dude
who won, Kyle Roberts, he was really funny dude. So
I mean what I mean it was it was well deserved.
But yeah, why was the music competition? Because you so,

(22:44):
I don't say, I'm not a musician, no my life.
I thought it was something like like like involving like music,
like answering questions or something like that. Why are you
just gonna come okay you winn's history. That's uh, time
for a break. It's time for a quick break. It's

(23:15):
time for a quick break. But when we come back,
we're gonna get it to this show Thread with our
special guest Fantastic Freaky after this and we are back.

(23:38):
So show Thread just recently announced Conifer ever wrapped up
filming um and he was also talking about the little
the controversy with Ryan Cooper with two where he got
hemmed up a Bank of America book, Like, what's the
first of all on what coun What do y'all expect
for this new movie? Like what do we expect? Are
we we casting? Uh? Chala? Are we? I know we're

(24:01):
gonna see you Chad one more time, but like what
y'all think we're going to expect? I don't really have
any expectations, honestly, and I know they really sound bad,
but the way, you know what I'm saying, it was
just really unexpected when Chad we get passed. So my
canvas is really blank for me, Like it's just kind
of like I don't really know how to explain that.

(24:22):
I don't really know it just it just happened, so
fut And when we all found out that he passed,
everyone's like, you know what I'm saying. So when you
talk about black Panther, because you know what I'm saying,
he's so attached to that role. When you can think
about Black Panthers far Us the adaptation, it's just like, not,
he's not here. He's just kind of like, Okay, you
know what y'all gonna do? You know what I'm saying? Yeah,

(24:44):
I feel like and maybe once trailers come out and
things like that, I'll get more excited. But there's been
just so much drama pushing movement and now time since
the first movie that like, yeah, I'm not exciting, Like
at this point, it just feels like an obligation that
Marvel is just trying to fulfill um and I agree,

(25:05):
like there's a big hole with with to Chila being
gone and I don't know, Ryan rewrote it three times.
I don't know. This is feeling like Black Widow. Like
I was hyped for the Black Widow movie, and then
when it came out it was irrelevant by that point.
Yeah you know what I mean? Not to mention that
it was trash. Whoa the trash? I thought it was

(25:30):
really I enjoyed it. I enjoyed it. I liked the
fight scene, cop out, villain cop out, everything everything was
a cop out of that movie. Fire what you mean?
I don't know, like, no, no, no no, no. People have
to understand, like well, people feel like it was supposed

(25:51):
to be her originous story, like her going. No, nobody
nobody felt that. I'm a mom fan. I didn't think that.
I feel like I'm feeling the pieces of the timeline,
that's all. No, I don't think I think they were
like fulfilling something obligatory. This movie, I think would have
been totally received differently if it was dropped right after

(26:12):
Civil War, Like if that same movie came out after
Civil War, we would have been hight. Yes, now I'm
not saying Master this Taskmaster wasn't good, but I'm saying
Taskmaster as a villain is pretty good. But yeah, I
just always marvel. I always try to tweak something, you know.
Like she said, I feel like people got a little

(26:34):
bit drawn back with you because they have to understand
where it's supposed to feed it on the timeline. They
were just literally feeling in a piece of the puzzle. Yeah,
but Yelena was incredible day they gave us she Lena
in it. She was really Yeah. That's why I say,
to my view, that's the best part of the movie.
But why Sep said in the movie, and she is

(26:56):
a black widow. So who's to say that that Black
Widow movie supposed to be about Scarlett Johanson. It just
said black widow. I didn't wanted to be about like
Scarlett Johansen. I don't like her as a person, I
definitely don't, but I'm not gonna take away her acting still.

(27:16):
I think she has talent um and a talent. You
see the way she worded and stuff. It wasn't about Natasha.
It was really about you. But that's fine. Is our
black widow and then she not the new she's going
to be our black widow for it was really about
all of them because they was all being brainwashed. So

(27:37):
it was about the rebellion, I mean, not the rebellion
of I guess you can site a rebellion, know What's
what I'm trying to say that It wasn't about, like,
you know, releasing them from the mind control. The worst
Marvel movies ever made. It's almost as bad a story.
Dark World, it, Yeah, we can just Dark World was yeah,

(28:02):
Dark World? Iron Man three? You think Iron Man three
was better? I would look at Iron Man three tier
more time, at least three D trash trash I'm not saying.
I'm not saying this is incredible, but I'm its It's

(28:22):
definitely a rewatchable movie. The fight scenes are really good.
What else you want? They have really funny beats. Yeah,
like is really really critical on everything, right, you remember,
he's evil. I want my task master I want and

(28:43):
I'm critical critical too, but biases fun the story more
nice cible The villain was trash Okay, okay, even in
ball select with a with a with a chip in
and say, oh it was so bad. Yeah, I didn't like.

(29:08):
I didn't like what they did, but you know what
I'm saying, I didn't like that they cast clearly a
man as a taskmaster stunt double so like he was
like this big rolic band and then like was the
only They did not do that stunt double good at all.
I swear to god they did not, and they were.

(29:29):
They're really good female martial artists, both especially Russian ones.
You're trying to get. You go to Russia, you find
some good, some good stuff out there. You could have
got big old girl to do the stunt double ship
and being good. They rushed it a little bit, you
know what I'm saying. It And they when they pay,
I mean rushing for tom Bro, like I really thought.

(29:50):
I was really sad too. I thought Sammue Sammue Writer
would be in there more. She's the black Samurai um girl,
so you know, they huge media media pushing how she
was in it, which is incredible, and she was in it,
but I thought she was going to have like a
speaking roller like I was really excited. Yeah, even if

(30:11):
she didn't speak, I just wanted her at least to
throw a punch at one of the wanted to see
more yeah dance sequence. I will admit that I will
take the Black Widow movie over Kate Bishop. Kate Bishop
is the worst thing that would have in the Marvel
cal We had to Jesus. She's annoying, She's any the worst.

(30:34):
I don't know, man, But fan of is her real name,
Haley Haley Stom really a big fan of her acting.
I like her as a person, like when I see
her in the Red carpet, when I see her out,
I think she's a beautiful woman. You know, she exudes
a lot of comfidence I can tell you know what
I'm saying when she's out and about. But her acting,

(30:55):
I don't care for her acting. I did not care
for her acting and pitch perfect. I feel like if
they would have found somebody else to character out, it's
with a stupid or same thing. So I'm not gonna lie.
Her kind of playing k Bishop not might be biased,
but I was like, you're going to act? Where am I?
Right now? Guy? Was incredible? What is going on? Thank you?

(31:18):
I like I was one of the most entertaining Disney
because I was good. Oh like like y'all seaking here,
y'all got mental problems. Y'all think I was talking about.
I learned I'm crazy if I do if I say

(31:40):
anything that disagrees with how you think? So you you
many widely. It came very like I sat there and
watched Falcon and Winter Soldier. Y'all think, y'all think how
is just as good as we? Didn't say that, we
just said bad. Don't say that. I say so. Yeah,

(32:00):
I'm not skidding. Yes, yes, yes, yes, it's just as good. Yes, yes,
I don't agree with it. Look, I'm gonna tell you
this for me hurt. Look Falcon in the Winter Soldier,

(32:23):
which all the Disney Plus shows have this issue. Right,
it's because they're so short they wrap it up so quickly.
They did this whole, this whole backstory with Isaiah Thomas
right talking to um, what's his name? Why is this
slipping my mate Anthony Mackie about you know, racism and

(32:43):
like represented in America and what that means, calling him
a coon, and he immediately started shucking and driving and
doing a PBS commercial after And there were just so
many beats. The main villain of Hawkeye and not Hawkeye
in the Winter Soldier, the black girl with the freckles.
She got so radical so quickly. It didn't make sense

(33:06):
why people were so after it was. It started off
so good and then in the middle it just totally
like went downhill. And there were excellent beats. It was
a good show, but like I think, yeah, I thought
hawk Eye was way more consistent. And that's with me
doing a lot of critiques, Like I critiqued Hawkeye a lot.
I was mad that, Like I was, like, I want

(33:28):
him to go to jail for being Ronan. It was
inherently racist. They started to reflect on how racist it
was and he rode off in the sunset. I do
understand that, but still like as a beat, them introducing
so many incredible characters. They had Lena and there being fired,
they had Echo and they're being good and it was

(33:50):
it was the first time. It was the first time
I saw Hawkeye. Besides and what if Hawkeye and Black
Widow and the m c U are never scaled directly?
Every time they roll up in the room, everybody should
be scared. They're dangerous, and I feel like you never
and they're around gods and stuff like that. But even still,
like it's books, they're they're like me right, also realized

(34:17):
that when you know. But that's that's what I'm trying
to you. That's what I'm saying. In the comic book
The Hocus, they're the Hocus, they're thor is there And
Hawkeye and Black Widdow are still just as scary, right

(34:38):
Secret Invasion and Secret Invasion. This is my favorite scene
of Black Widow and Secret Invasion. They're like, we don't
know who scrolls blah blah bla blah, what are we
gonna do? Right, and re just like trying to run
and make whatever. And she just starts shooting people. She
like if it's green, if it's green, that we know.
She she shoots Logan in the head like she's dangerous.

(34:58):
She's no one to be messed with, and she's always
around aliens, fighting aliens, and she always holds her own.
Now in the comics she takes serum and stuff like that,
so there's a little different, but even still, I never
feel that danger with Hawkeye or with Black Widow. And
then the Hawkeye series was the first time I saw
it when he was in that warehouse and he was annoyed.
He was like he was really just trying to get information,

(35:19):
and then when he finally got it, he started like
cleaning them up and leaving. I was like, this is
what I'm this is what I need to seek. He's
got to be the greatest feelings of all time. This
is the greatest. I don't forgot half. My only complaint was,
like I said in the of, it might be biased,
Like I said, I just don't really care for you
know what I'm saying. I have what you said for

(35:45):
Falcon and the Winter Soldier, that scene with Isaiah Bradley, No,
that was that's that was a really good scene, and
I feel like they really should have been you know
what I'm saying. It talked about Moore. Yeah, you know
what I'm saying, Like you said, developing and bringing out
these characters, because not only did they bring out like
a brad that, they also brought out the grandson Eli
Eli and was in the hall. What is it the

(36:07):
team of youngle be injured. That's Marvel and all of
them so hated that. I hated that storyline with Bucky
making friends with that Japanese man that he killed their
son was sick. I was like, this is not endearing,
this is a sick doesn't work like that. He someone's

(36:28):
son and was secretly that's Cannon. It was actually looking
another question and it was gross. In the comic books,
Old White Man make these comic books, they're sticking ahead.
They don't they sick sick, But everybody shout out, you know,
random shout out to how guy at the end of

(36:49):
the day, because you know, people trying to make him out,
you know, cinemagic movies and all that. But in the comics,
sence ship, he's died multiple times, came back and if
you look at every it's just me like this ain't
me just like defending the show and I just because
that nig is a survivor, because every fucking me the

(37:09):
end comic or like then They're like, what the world
is in the alternate What if everybody dies except sucking
every goddamn and Luke Cage. Yeah, I mean yeah, it's
gonna be like forty years later, the world fucked up.

(37:31):
You're gonna see how Guy and Luke Cage and probably
Logan just like once again, people have to realize that,
you know what I'm saying, this is the Marvel you
know what I'm saying, universe of I'm sort of Marvel
Cinematic Universe. This is the you know what I'm saying,
Detective Comics universe, the cinematic universe. These are adaptations of

(37:53):
the stories of the comic books. So you're not gonna
get everything or they're not going to display all of
the real ski using their talents and their powers, you
know what I'm saying, unless you really read the storyline
in the com Well, then then again, Disney stuff, this
isn't too soft to be displayed. And I don't can
they own Hulu? So when they Disney Disney too softy

(38:17):
saying they know, But what I'm saying is they're not.
They're dropping like rated our properties okay, all rated, but
it's just like but they didn't Monkey Monkey, it's like,
really yeah, Runaways, Um, Cloak and Dagger, there's a bug.
Those are all Disney properties. But what they do is

(38:38):
if it's PG thirteen, they put it on Disney plots,
and then if it's rated are, they put it on
Hulu or Facts Legion, Legion y'all. If you don't want
if you're having people, actually it's so good, just get
like the rated R thing because they they got you know,

(38:59):
because they're Netflix, because they shows own Disney Plus now,
so it's like it's now yeah, so now now they'll
probably will put and also because they want to put
dead Pool and stuff on there. So now they're with
their new properties coming out now they can release rated
our things on the Disney Plus. Um. But you know,

(39:19):
at the end of the day, big characters, they're gonna
want to at least keep it PG thirteen so that
it can reach a wider audience. Like The Batman was
so clearly made to be Rated R, and it was
sometimes it felt like I was like, I know, I
should see more blood right here, or like this scene
should feel different. But because they had to make it,
you know, safe for teenagers, they withdrew a lot of

(39:42):
things you know, And I think that's what dry, that's
what it pisces off people. I mean, that's what kind
of irritates them. Like we understand the system of how
ship needs to be, but it's like y'all, y'all be
nursing the funk out people at times, and it's like
we y'all literally got the blueprint. You'll just gotta read
the ship and then we don't need you know, it's

(40:03):
a summary. I think that's what the biggest thing is.
I'm summarizing something that had so long to flesh out.
How do I show? How did I tell? How do
I tell this story? In two hours? When in reality
it should be a series. It should be you know,
it should be this long. Um. And I think Marvel
is starting to thrive, which I think they'll get the
show soon. But the movies work as a series a

(40:27):
right that we just span over years, and I think
that's why it's good. There After a while, they stopped
caring if you saw anything else, and they stop being
things that you could watch independently. Yeah, yeah, everything, everything
is a tie in. All Right, we're gonna go to
a quick break, but when we come back, we're gonna
talk about the new clip from The Batman after this,

(41:03):
and we are bad. So the Batman at least some
footash recently. Was it a deleted scene? Was it? Yeah,
it was a deleted scene that they released, and it
was a view on their take of the Joker. So
what's your thoughts on that? Um? Yeah, I love Julie.
I will say this. I think we're always going to

(41:25):
get Batman right, and we're always going to complain about it.
But I think if they actually explored some of the
many villains of Batman that they've never really looked into,
it would help make Batman feel fresh. And while I
enjoyed I enjoyed the scene, it still felt derivative, right.
I felt like I was watching Heath Ledger again, Like
it was so heavily focused on like that type of performance,

(41:48):
and I'm like, where we got somebody else? Yeah, let's see,
let's see him with the Court of Owls, Like, let's see.
I've been saying that for so long. Quarter. Yeah, there's
there's so many villains that he could really fight that,
And I think that's why we like Peacemaker and stuff
like that. Death stroke. You're right, I have not seen
death stroke in a movie, and that is one of

(42:10):
the cold we really struggle at the end of it,
I say nothing, and they got that perfect fine man
with out seed. Um it was out Joe Joel Mangiano.
It's like first of all upset. You know that's right.

(42:40):
He was good on it. He was a weird Wold
but like um, and I thought he was perfect casting.
But yeah, he in a movie, I think he'd be great. Um.
I think even like Italia I'll google as a villain
would be incredible. Like we saw her for two seconds
in the Nolan film. Um, I mean she was in it,
but she was just like when didn't get to see
the reel her until like close to the end, and

(43:02):
the like I haven't been one right now in this day,
Damian Dark would be good too. Yeah, because that's one
thing I didn't like about the Arrow TV show. They
took so much from Batman storyline like to put in
the show. But that's because Errol, they both they're the

(43:25):
same nigga damn that it's just like Green Narrow. It
is Batman with a boat. I leave be making something.
I mean, I'm know Batman could be a little dark,
but I leave it just be making some horrible as decisions.
I'd be like, really, brother, I shouldn't have did that.

(43:47):
I go to Bath for Flash Flash in my show
for them for a minute, like so I go to
Bad for Flash, Like I'm glad they really knew that
new season for it. You know, people be talking to
you like, oh, Franky, you watch the Flash. I feel
like somebody else watching it at me. It cannot just
be me, y'all watching the Flash with me because they
still renewing it with no cheese, with no bread, and

(44:08):
it's an expensive show like the people that they're fighting,
like expensive special effects, like yeah this ship, yeah yeah,
it's not good. They don't got it's not cheat. I
didn't hate and disclaimed. I didn't hate Errow or just
like some of the stories, like okay, like Batman, they
should do this for a Batman story, I want, you know,

(44:30):
I mean, but it's it's Errow stories. I think Errol
was really good and then they had like to three
season slump and then it got back to being really
good again. Um, but they lost everybody in that slump period,
you know, definitely, But I mean, I can't wait to
see I hope they like I said, like you just said, like,
I hope they given the time to expand this Batman universe.

(44:53):
I hope we get to see more. I mean, I
want to see this joker, see how it works, but
like I want to see the other villains too, So
how crazy the quart to ours is real quick? I
am ready to see more bees. I'm ready to Steve
Jared you don't put his foot I live in Michael
Corby's Ain't that this week? Next week? Yeah? Go ahead?

(45:14):
And d I mean dally watch that da for sure?
For sure? For sure? Yeah that DFD DF Let's talk
we had we did. We did a Twitter spaces with
the for Morbus recently, and we a lot of people
had the same opinion that like, huh people excited for it? Yeah,

(45:40):
but like why are we getting a Morbus movie? Also? Yeah,
why I trust Sony? After I was about to say
next and you hit, you ended up telling me that
I I really thought more just shut up. I was listening,
I was there. I mean, I'm looking forward to it,
like seeing Jared Letto, because he, like I said, More,

(46:00):
is an eyeball character and Jared Letto is playing good
at playing ball, So I'm looking forward to it. But like, yeah,
on the other hand, it's only been messing up Marvel
movies lately. They had a good like, okay, yeah, they
did good with Venom, but the second one was okay,
what's his name, broke Venom? I can't think his real
name as you list is clawl movie. That's why I

(46:21):
was so good the first one, the first second just yo.
I was lit for the second one, and you know
the control substances. We're trying their best to make the
movie good and it still wasn't working, Like I like
laughing and it was not work. I was like, I

(46:42):
can't believe I think this movie is bad. And I
was laughing the whole time. And I still That's how
you know ship is wrong when you lit this and
you still like, I'm cringing. I don't like this, but
I'm living. I think that sometimes the weed is what's
making you laugh. At times. It was the firstlation way

(47:03):
funnier because sometimes I'll be like, damn, I left this
ship last time. I thought, wasn't shriek like a mutant
in it? See you know what I'm saying. Yes, it
was awkward, Like, no, it don't work like this. Cipios
did not do that well acarate and I'm looking forward
to blade to know they give us some right forward

(47:25):
to uh person to come on? What's this nice? Yes?
Call him? I really stard. That's like Lan probably calling
your back around. My mama, y'all leave that man name alone.

(47:49):
Jesus Christ dying, it's like moving on. You remember that
video moving moving on? Y'all making fun of getting people
stop moving on. Jesus Christ video. Funny doctor, that's the

(48:10):
longest in my life. Bro, Like what he gotta gotta
say it like in the full thing, so he gonna
sunk up. Baco has a top five list for us,
so I'm gonna learn. Head it over to Baku Bako.
Let's go. This is Eli on Disputed Lists. Time for

(48:32):
everybody's favorite segment. Have a camera home, but whack your
favorite Russian boy today. My list is about what movies. Okay, ship,
you got my attention. Let's go. This is Eli's top
five favorite movies. It's not the best war movies, but
just my favorite war moans. I like looking at number

(48:53):
five five number five, number five Fury Piff Logan Lehman.
It's one of my one of my favorite movies. It's
so fun that how the whole movie takes place in
the tank, so it's it's so good. Free. I caught
that movie just like randomly one night, and it's a

(49:14):
good movie. Okay, if you are wild, if you yeah, free, yeah,
if you are you started off all right, you started
off and Buff is like a Christian. He's like this
one dude was dying at one point. He's like, brother,
you your Christian brother, you love Jesus Christ. He's like, no,
I don't like, get your love before you die. And
I was like, oh my god, this is amazing. And
that's got a too took out phone. I don't know,

(49:36):
because you know he'd be method acting and ship shall
bu was only one to survive. Yeah, it's about five dudes.
That movie came my years ago. How you gonna tell
us to watch it and then be like, yeah, I
didn't tell you watch I said this is my favorite movies.
I have to say nothing about y'all watching. I heard that.
I heard that, man, this is my favorite movie. Then yes,

(50:00):
they take they get behind enemy lines, five man tank
crew and they started it's the last fight with the
horrors of people coming and they fight them. It's it's
so good man, there's nothing Number four fourst movie came
out recently, nineteen seventeen. There are few good movies about

(50:21):
World War One. Yes, it's few good movies about World
War One. And um, I could argue that World One
was was was way more of an important war than
World War Two. I think you would't have World two
that wor one. Everything they have been the World One
started World Two. So it's sad that we don't get
too many nineties movies about World War One. But nineteen

(50:43):
seventy seventeen was so good man, so good. That's because
a lot of exacts are Jewish, that is true. So
so there, you know, so what World War Two is
way more important to them in terms of their history?
Mind blown? Yeah, yeah, yeah, I do. I do have
to say people don't consider a war movie, but I

(51:04):
think Inglorious Bastards Are Glorious Bastards is my favorite World
War two movie. Even though it's that o't count to me? Man,
why not that that that's fair? It's not his story,
but it's definitely it's okay. So it's not historically accurate,

(51:25):
but a lot of the notes of it was very
historically accurate, accurate, and it it shows a lot of
things about World War Two that we don't look at, right,
that we don't see on screen. So it wasn't all
Jewish between. Yeah, there wasn't all Jewish American between that
went through. You know. There was like someone who was like, um,
what's his name, Christopher Walt's character jew Hunter. Yeah, there

(51:50):
was a lot of Jewish women who were hiding in
plain sign like it's just stuff like that. Number three three,
Number three top favorite war movies. This one. This is
the This was like the first big battle in the
Pacific theater of World War two. Midway. I love Midway, Man,
I love it so much. Man that the battle scenes

(52:11):
in Midway are so good Man uh in screen Wood
Woody Harris is in this movie, Man, Patrick Wilson, and
in this movie Man had a great cast. Man. It's
one of my favorite Ward movies all time. Midway is
one of the It's one of the most important battles
because that that that started in America to roll back
to the Japanese army, but way back to Japan. This
they had to go from island to island to island.

(52:32):
So I love that movie. Man. Number two, and not
a lot of people see Midway too, but not a
lot of people talk to see Midway too. You know
that's why I at times because we like historicalest times. Okay,
so you get it. Number two, number to the two
list favorite Ward movies. Save it Private, Ryan, I have
to problems. I'm not gonna that that should be up there.

(52:57):
No this, no day they hopped off the boat. It
was Oh, I think it's the first war movie I
ever saw in my life too. That's the first one
I ever saw my whole life. First war movie. That's
actually unlike my my sister's top three war movie. She
really loved Statement Private. It had heart, it had action,

(53:17):
there had had everything. I've just seen. When they was
taking up Major Cry, I know it was taking out
the wild cat. It takes hard wild cats whatever. They
were taking them out in that CD, and like he
was giving them them sickness, like come. I was like, oh, ship,
that's how they do sign language and ship in the military. Dope.
They had niggas going out like bitches. Remember one because
Homeboy got killed up stairs and ship. Yeah, but it

(53:38):
was on the stairs, like my friend I was mad
at fuck. Yeah. That movie had and movie hits and
movie hits. The number one alright, this number one top
her favorite war movies. This movie, and this movie is
one of the greatest movie all time. To me, it's

(53:59):
one of the greatest one movie time. Won a great
movie period man. Black hawk Down, Yes, my favorite scene
from this movie is when they were shooting, when they
was about to get out of freaking whatever they were.
There was in Afghanistan, wasn't they and the dude just
started taking about with the pistol when they was in helicopter. Yeah,
he just started like, I'm just right. That was depending.

(54:24):
I could watch Black Hawk Down ten eleven times in
a row without getting bored. Man, I love it. Don't
say that fast he can. I throw in an honorable mission.
That was cheesy, but I liked it. Do y'all remember
Behind the Enemy Lines with On Wilson. That was like
the seriously recent movie I've ever seen. Russian ship Let

(54:45):
me get let me give a couple of miles. Band
of Brothers. I didn't. I didn't put it on because
the redn't count of the movie was kind of a serious.
So Band of Brothers I got on there. It was greatness.
That was greatness just just topped her and that she
was even even though this, even though, even when we
found out that most of his fake American Sniper was
a good movie American. Yeah, but what about America Miracle

(55:11):
at sat Anna, that's a good movie. You ain't never
seen this ship jo Jojo Rabbit. I was weeping, weeping.
I was happy it was a that was an accellent
long survivor. That's another another thing. I got thirteen hours.

(55:31):
If you'll ever see thirteen hours, that's you forgot you
forgot one. The thing is ax al Ridge is another one.
Like I don't like about war movies is it always
feels like American propaganda, you know what I mean, Like Americans,
we live in America. That's why I don't like watch it. Like,

(55:52):
oh look, remember you know I had a conversation with
my friend who's an Armenian and he was telling me
how he had to leave Armenia because of the war.
And you know, I live in New York. So I
was like, yo, we've been in war and most of
my life too. And he left at me so hard
and he was like bringing up, bringing up Yo, but

(56:13):
that that's serious. Like they've been marketing to us that
we've been in war in Afghanistan, right, in Iraq. They've
been years that there's no time in peace. We've just
been sitting more So he was like, what y'all colonizing them?
Like everyone knows that that you're colonized. The propaganda master
and had always am. And I was like, I don't

(56:36):
even like America. And I still say we was in
the Afghan War. And it's because these war movies. You know,
American Sniper was one of it, right, they played an evil. Also,
the president did get on National TV a lot though,
so he did get on. I was more, is white too?

(57:01):
I need to add that in the guy is white.
I mean he's Armenian, but he's white Armenian. So I
was mortified. I was like, how he gets the more
high ground on me? And I'm like, and I got
to stay here and now I'm now I'm the colonizer.
Oh I was sick. I was sick my last mission
for what you closed out the show, but getting out
he's fighting out all wars. Here's black people in Americas.

(57:23):
I can't even bring that up. After I revealed my
cards as a colonizer. Now I can't bring up my blackness.
You know, I'm saying I lost. I lost my landed.
The last movie I want to bring up Show zero
Doc thirty's last one I had. I had a war movie. Also,
Aunts was a good war movie. My nigger Razor died
