Speaker 1 (00:00):
Trapp Trapp Real.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Welcome, Walk, Welcome, Welcome to another excited episode of the
Trap Nerves podcast.

Speaker 1 (00:11):
I was I was going, you like eating them chips
like a rabbit.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
I was going this week, I was wondering, who the
fuck was eating chips.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
It's been good ship. I fucked around. You know how
you lie yourself into a good job. I didn't exactly lie,
but I guess. Okay, it's like I didn't lie, but okay.
So when I was at the Railroad, I became site manager.
At the woodhouse, I became a woodhouse manager type ship,
and then at the wood Plan I was outside manager.

(00:40):
So I'm basically all around lead man for shit.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
I thought I was just gonna say wood manager technically
because the joke, the joke for the ladies.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
That worked out, Like girl, you see me slanking wood
literally because I have to pull.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
This off the conveyer belt. It's part of a person house.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
You get it, you get so, yeah, they kind of
I kind of just got a strong supervisor role out
of nowhere type shit. At another warehouse, I'm back in
the warehouse, back in the trenches type shit.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
They have a union. I appreciate that. Out they're like
you want to join it.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
Like shit, yes, yes, yes, yes I do the fuck
I learned that. I learned that lesson from the railroad
type shit. That's how niggas start having to work like
twelve fifteen the moving company. Oh if they had a union,
shit to be so fucked up. Niggas to be mad.
That's why they refuse to get a union. That's the
one place because they already know they they be doing

(01:35):
some wild ship.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
But a lot of people get unions, and a union
be there just to protect the fucking job.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
So I've seen the negative size, like bruh.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
It was like like today, like they wanted to go
to ten thirty, but break is literally thirty minutes, and
like because of the union, we gotta work, we gotta
work way, we gotta get every two hours, we gotta
get a break type shit. So when we got off today,
it was lunch type ship. So it's like what just

(02:05):
but great, Amazon, I remember, that's why everybody had been walking.
That's why that ship has been happening. Amazon needs that badly.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Because I remember one time we had a fucking eight
hour shift and only a thirty minute lunch break. They
made us take out a thirty minute lunch break in
the first hour, so we had to work seven goddamn
hours without a break.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
Bro. We just got the little Amazon package and playing
down here. Bro, they worked twelve hour shifts. I was like, hell, no,
I can't do that again. I left that shit alone
at the railroad when the minute I had to spend
the night at the railroad because I ain't feel like
leaving because they got showers and shipped up. I was like, fucking,
I'm just I got my PlayStation in the office for this.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
I'm here.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
It's a slumper party. I'm security too, goddamn but.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
That ben chilling? Uh what else we on? Fuck?

Speaker 3 (02:52):
Cry prime on now? It's real uga uga no English,
it's straight locked y'all ye type language type I don't know,
like Lord of the Rings A little bit. No really,
that was on top of the no, I don't speak

(03:13):
what is that?

Speaker 1 (03:14):
I don't know, nigga.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
That was just me trying to sound came man English.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
I want to get it joked up. But it's cool.
I'm fucking ship like I thought.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
I was not gonna like it because you know, they
took away all the guns and ship and no wing suit.
But it brought me back to when I heard I'm
doing I was like, I never gave it a chance.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
That will say that.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
Everybody kept up saying we're gonna when you're gonna get
on prob And then I finally hopped on that bitch,
and I was, man, this is okay to ship y'all.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
Y'all got that whoop do you do?

Speaker 3 (03:47):
But there you know, ship me and we're gonna talk
about this spatch later. Other than that, I'm still in
the cry. Uh you know five and New done his
next God damn it that ended up in chilling word
Cat Dad sit piacked Cats in the bad Oh dumnp
sleep about you, Tony.

Speaker 4 (04:05):
I went to see Predator Badlands and I was gonna
see Running Man, but uh, we ended up changing the
plans because I got out voted and everyone wanted to
see Predator, which.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
I'm not gonna lie.

Speaker 4 (04:17):
I went into this like I don't want to watch this,
I want to watch Running Man, and I was pleasantly
surprised to be fair and just give everyone context. I
have not seen a Predator movie since.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
Predator or The Predator.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
No.

Speaker 4 (04:35):
I've seen Adrian Brody. Uh this one when they're.

Speaker 1 (04:39):
In a group.

Speaker 4 (04:39):
There's like a group. Oh god, this is like all
of them. I was gonna say a group in the forest.
It was like, that's literally all of them.

Speaker 3 (04:44):
No, okay, it's like a group of like random killers
and assassins and Walter Goggins. Yes that way, yeah, okay, Yeah.
The Predator, Yeah, yeah, I think that's the Predator.

Speaker 5 (04:55):
That's when I saw was Alien Versus Predator. That's the
last of my pred the movie I've seen that. You're
pretty it. I appreciate it. I know people don't like
Alien Versus Predator, but I was.

Speaker 1 (05:05):
Enjoying that ship. It's just a child. I think it's
a good premise. Was weirdly executed, but it worked.

Speaker 5 (05:13):
Predator has always been just fun for me, like fun movie,
but if you wanted the actual good movie. I was
always an Alien fan, the first two Alien movies. Then
that's that's that's Cinema. That was cinema actual that there
was a Predator one with Cinema. Yeah, there was another, yeah,

(05:33):
the Recreem.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
I do not remember that movie. I've seen that. That's
the last one I seen.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
I saw it, but I cannot just saw it. I
just remember Predator High Bridge.

Speaker 5 (05:46):
That that's when they was on that planet and stuff. Right, No,
that was that's the Predator.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
It's just.

Speaker 3 (05:53):
I thought it was on the plane Alien versus Predator
Recreem was still.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
On Earth was still I thought it was on some
other planet.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
Well, I gotta go back watch this, shn't it. So
that's that's my history on the Predator. I haven't seen
a movie in a while, and I went into this
hearing it. I'm not gonna lie. I kind of a
Twitter degenerate or x formerly known as Twitter.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
We all have advices Tony.

Speaker 4 (06:18):
And you know, I see all the little rage bait
stuff and sometimes it's hard to discern. And so generally
I've only heard bad about this movie. They're like, oh,
why did they change him?

Speaker 1 (06:30):
You know whatever? Why did they change how the predators look?
But they didn't. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (06:34):
It's so weird. Twitter discourse is weird anyway. The movie
is essentially about a runt.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
Apparently among the they do have different types of predators,
the Yaucha.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
They're called the Yaucha. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (06:50):
Apparently among the Yaucha they kill their runts. Essentially, they'll
have like a family member do it if they're too
weak or whatever.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
And they they take the old bitch one round back.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
Yeah, yeah, they him with You know what, dude, I
was gonna as soon as this movie started, I was like, Okay,
this is a Viking revenge story right here.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
I'm joked up because it really is.

Speaker 4 (07:16):
It really like it starts out, Uh well, I mean
this is like the first ten minutes of the movie.
If it starts out the dude's brother they're training, and
you you find out because his dad shows up.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
His Dad's like, hey, did you kill your brother yet? Damn?
And he's like.

Speaker 4 (07:33):
His brother like sticks up for him, saying no, he's
gonna go out to do this hunt, you know, and whatever.
Give him his chance to do the hunt that he
you know, for his ride of passage, and his his
father basically kills his brother and was gonna kill him too,
but his brother like puts him on a ship to
a different planet to do the hunt and it goes
from there. So this dude is like spurned on by vengeance,

(07:55):
and so he was like trying.

Speaker 3 (07:57):
To know another planet to be like I'm gonna come
back and get this nigga.

Speaker 4 (08:00):
Yeah nice, But he he learns, uh, he goes through
a little character. It's really good. It's actually surprisingly I
enjoyed it. I'm not gonna lie. I was surprised by
the depth of character that could be put into a.

Speaker 3 (08:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
I heard good things about it on my side of Twitter.
I think orth.

Speaker 4 (08:21):
And there's lots of action, lots of action and good
good CGI too. Like I was, I don't know why
I thought it was gonna be bad, Like I don't
I don't know. Maybe I just thought, like, Predator doesn't
have that kind of backing, you know, that kind of
financial backing.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
I mean, that's that's a classic. That's one of them classic.
I p He's like, is it the thing with me?
With Predator, it's hit or miss. It's like, we'll have
a really solid Predator, then the other one it's like, uh,
it's like they'd be too up and down.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
But the way you're saying, all right, we got a
good one. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (08:53):
I mean that's just my opinion. Apparently I'm looking it
up and it's still pretty mixed online. But I thought
it was good. I think it's enjoyable. I didn't regret
going to watch it. I didn't regret spending my money
to see that, and that's generally a good sign.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
So we value your opinions. Tony, let me see what
else did I do? Nothing?

Speaker 4 (09:12):
Caught up on David finished it? Bro, why does there
have to be another season? I just wanted it to end.
I mean, I know there's so much it's not to
go Tony, Man, I know.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
Man, but.

Speaker 5 (09:27):
Bro, it's said it said Jun Junky helped him out
and everything.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
Yeah, it's gonna be saying when they have to next season?
Just have they confirmed him more season they're gonna do? Uh.

Speaker 4 (09:38):
He said that he wanted it to be a trilogy
for the youth of David.

Speaker 1 (09:42):
About saying, because they're gonna have to do it's a
lot to this David story. What about when you get married?

Speaker 5 (09:46):
What about you, uh, when you start having more kids
and stuff? What about what about what he actually king
and all that stuff they're gonna do with Sheba, that's
about when.

Speaker 4 (09:58):
He marries my Rob and leaves all his his kids would.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
Call, Yeah, we're gonna do all this stuff.

Speaker 3 (10:03):
It's going to get really dark really fast. As his surprise,
he was ever the favorite. Yea them, there there's a
lot to go to you. I know, I feel like
this season just gonna be chasing David around right, It's
a lot happened in between that so.

Speaker 5 (10:19):
Got David for a while, then you know his h
when Johnathon died, his other song try to take the
Throne for a while.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
So there's a lot of stuff that happened, man.

Speaker 4 (10:29):
Yeah, a lot of When I when I looked it up,
it said that essentially he wanted David's Youth to be
a trilogy, and he did say David's Youth, So I
think there is intention to.

Speaker 1 (10:38):
Do another se more.

Speaker 4 (10:40):
Yeah, and uh, that's it. Really, That's all I've done
this week.

Speaker 1 (10:45):
I went to see Wiki for Good. I keep hearing
the trailers for that. Let's see. Let's see what I
got to say about this. The entire cast skinny as hell.
Now a lot to distracted me.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
Either.

Speaker 5 (11:00):
It was distracted every time are Gundy was singing. I
could just see her chest bone in them dresses.

Speaker 3 (11:05):
Like if somebody hugged them too hard, they're gonna die.
But all the reason why I sit there, Rebo, you
don't see her, You don't get to the tracted by
her because she always covered up.

Speaker 1 (11:17):
Now then they trying to say they want her to
be storm Like, no, Bro, I'm telling me, she finna
played Jesus trying to super whatever it's called Jesus Superstar.
I forgot.

Speaker 3 (11:28):
Yeah, yeah when that William defaute was it was one
of them old niggas. But remember it's like a sixties movie.

Speaker 1 (11:35):
That's a that's a that's a play. That's what I
didn't never seen the movie. I just seen the play.

Speaker 5 (11:39):
They did that play one one in college I went to,
Yeah it was it was a play. Yeah, I knew
it was a player.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
I just like there somebody thought of it.

Speaker 5 (11:48):
But uh, the songs still good, especially especially the one
with Hfelb and Fierro that was that was a good song.
And then the end of song with her Gunday.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
That's a good song.

Speaker 5 (12:00):
But the movie was got a little too convoluted, that's
without spoiling it, because there's a lot of storylines happening
that they happened just the sequel since they finishing off
with the last one. A lot of storyline, yes, a
lot of storylines floating around up there. So the movie
gets kind of convoluted and there's too much at some points.
But I think they did a good job wrapping up
the end, Like the beginning is really good, the end

(12:20):
is really good. The middle just.

Speaker 1 (12:22):
Gets choppy at some point.

Speaker 3 (12:23):
It's hard to keep it consistent because if they stick
the landing there, I think they stick the landed pretty good.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
Is it gonna be a trilogy?

Speaker 5 (12:31):
No, just the last one. They sticked the landing pretty
good because they did a pretty good job. But uh yeah,
the songs were pretty good that even the new songs
they had that were good. But it was pretty good.
So I said, go see, it's not better than the
first one, though.

Speaker 1 (12:45):
I'm been on.

Speaker 5 (12:46):
Not better than the first one, but it's still it's
still still you still need to watch it to finish
out the series. And I also started watching the new
show on Netflix called Cynthia About this Chicken. Yeah, the
chicken was kidnapped for six years and then she show up.
She come back to her husband is married to another woman,
got her child, is calling the other moman mama and stuff.

(13:08):
So and she's trying to figure out who who abducted her,
and then they're trying to the police suspect her.

Speaker 1 (13:15):
Okay, so when she got kidnaped, how she got away?

Speaker 5 (13:17):
They found her? Somebody called her husband and said, I
got your wife in this cabin. They went to the cabin.
They they pulled up the floorboards and she was inside
of tank with a timer on a water tank. Was
it was good, man, it's pretty good so far.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
So she got judging about aliens.

Speaker 5 (13:33):
Go watch it. Uh yeah, that's my week. Oh my
week was good. You know Predator. You know, I dated
a girl who had long pussy lips, and well she
opened them up. That's how they that's how it looked
like Predator.

Speaker 1 (13:46):
Now. I remember one time and then she was like,
your force kill looked ugly. I'm like, bitch, look at
your lips, like, what the hell? Like? How's that like?
Don't judge me, you know, I.

Speaker 3 (13:55):
Think I guess we've reached a new level of friendship
because I.

Speaker 1 (13:58):
Didn't he said that alive here. That's crazy. I respect
he was recorded.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
Anyways, you man, Well we was good.

Speaker 1 (14:11):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (14:11):
I saw Jurassic Park, the new one, the newest one
that came out with Scarlet Johansson. That movie for that
move was very well casting. I'm gonna start there. It
was they had I can't say his name, I leave
du The was supposed to blade Scarlet Joe Hanson had
herschel yeah something.

Speaker 1 (14:32):
That we started speaking to pronounce this nigga like he
was on Churches Tomorrow Nigga.

Speaker 2 (14:46):
But uh okay, I didn't really hear much about this movie.
But also it there came out in between when Superman
A Fantastic four came out.

Speaker 1 (14:57):
But it was pretty It's a pretty decent Jurassic Park.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
If I'm going to rank Durasic Park moves, I'm not
gonna put it up there with the best, but I
will say it is better than the last one. So basically,
what Scarlet Johansson is, she's like a mercenary and pharmaceutic. Yeah,
that's one thing. It's the same, exactly the same.

Speaker 1 (15:19):
Character and everything. Sometimes you type cast, you know.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
But the Jurassic Park is always somebody trying to need
a message. It's the same you know, storyline conder, But
she plays a mercenary. Is a pharmaceutical company. They need
to get three different samples from three different animals so
they can make a excuse me, life saving you know,
like a life saving medicine for heart disease, so they
could sell, you know, form soup company, selling ship, trying

(15:44):
to make money and stuff like that. He's basically offering
them like hundreds of million dollars to do this.

Speaker 1 (15:50):
It's her.

Speaker 2 (15:51):
It's this other dude who's a scientist who basically doesn't
know that he's going to the island until he really
till he finds out last minute.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
And then the something Ali du Muhammad ali Uh.

Speaker 2 (16:03):
He basically has the team that's gonna take them to
the island so they can get the distraction. The three
distractions they gotta get is from one you know them
big ass well looking things that's like you be one
of the drafts part movies. The motherfucker came about the
water eight t rex one of them big huge well things.
The other one is a long neck and the last one.

Speaker 4 (16:24):
Is I think on they ate that woman that didn't
deserve it when the pterodactyl like abducted.

Speaker 1 (16:30):
Her, hector. The third one is a pterodactyl.

Speaker 2 (16:34):
Yeah, So they have to go on the island and
get these three samples, and like when they get to
the island, they find because they're still in the water.

Speaker 1 (16:44):
Also, on the other hand, does his family white people
do dump shit? That's his family. They selling to the
other side of.

Speaker 2 (16:51):
Somewhere from Portugal or something, and then they accidentally get
into like the field the hunting fields of that big
as well animal and then knocks they boat over. So
they got that all. So the team ends up picking
them up and they get to the island. Then the
well thing is attacking the boat with spine of sauruses.
It's like six spin of sources in the water, just
like attacking the.

Speaker 1 (17:09):
Boat, and damn.

Speaker 2 (17:10):
The whole crew get killed except for Hu Muhammad Ali
Scored Johansson, the family and like two people from the
crew in it too.

Speaker 1 (17:20):
No, I can't say his name. What's his name?

Speaker 2 (17:22):
How you said his name? I'm sorry, I'm butchery that
was closer, mister. It's not purpose I got this le
but uh yeah. So basically trying to get to the chaples.
Another thing that's going on is because at the beginning
of the movie they show us research lab, and then
the research lab they are mutating the animals. Like one

(17:43):
of the other movies, they was mutating there for Whipery
to make them to weapons. That I think this kind
of was going on here. They mutated animals. They have
this big, ugly huge skottscrapers try ugly ass mutated things
that they made. They killed the person it's loose on
the islive and then they also got these flying dinosaur things.

Speaker 1 (17:59):
It's been mute. It's a lot of mutated, it's a
couple of mutts.

Speaker 4 (18:02):
I kind of figured this is where Jurassic Park was
gonna go if they didn't stop. Was like, they're just
gonna start making crazy aliens at this point.

Speaker 2 (18:11):
Yeah, at that I felt like, I'm like, why did
you because they didn't really need to use them, like
you could.

Speaker 1 (18:18):
Just you got dinosaurs.

Speaker 3 (18:20):
That's what I'm saying, Like, I'm just I'm just saying
I think six spinosauruses will do more for me than
a mutated one.

Speaker 1 (18:28):
Whatever.

Speaker 2 (18:29):
Yeah, and see that scene where they was in the
water was actually a good scene. I feel like they
needed more killed, more people getting killed by dinosaur moments,
more of those shocking moments in the movie. The movie
was decent. I'd say, go wash it. It's on streaming services,
but yeah, it was. It was They didn't do no
velociraptors in this one either. I like when they do

(18:49):
the velociraps velass kicked the ass, but they kind of
did a nod to it because the velos ratters was
showing up behind the little family and they was about
to attack them, but then the mutated Dinosaur came to
eight all the bloss Rappers, Okay.

Speaker 4 (19:02):
That's why they used it. They used them for symbolism.

Speaker 2 (19:06):
Yeah, which sucks. But like I said, the movies it's
pretty decent. I say, go watch it. It's not bad,
it's not terrible. It's just another Jurassic Park movie. That's
what I'm gonna saying.

Speaker 4 (19:16):
That's sad to say though that what you just said
is low key, really sad. Just another Jurassic Park movie.

Speaker 1 (19:24):
How far the mighty have fallen? For real? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (19:28):
But I mean I still have hope in the franchise
Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park, Transformers, and the Fans franchises.

Speaker 1 (19:35):
I watch whatever movie that they make when they come out.

Speaker 4 (19:38):
Fast and Furious is a different type of slop. Okay,
I happily take that.

Speaker 2 (19:44):
But uh yeah, I watched it, and then I watched
my yearly tradition. I watched Adam Sales eight Crazy Nights
on Hulu. That's just good for good funny movie to watch.

Speaker 4 (19:55):
It's about time for me to watch Jingle All the
Way again.

Speaker 1 (19:57):
I watched that every year. Yeah, I about to watch
it too.

Speaker 5 (20:03):
Put the cookie down now, tuble mind, it's trouble time.

Speaker 1 (20:09):
It's terrible time. Yeah, oh yeah, And I watched.

Speaker 2 (20:14):
The rest of the Eddie Murphy documentary there also, which oh,
we gotta go to a break, we gotta go to
a quick break when we come back, I.

Speaker 1 (20:21):
Don't know after this and we're back.

Speaker 2 (20:26):
So yeah, I watched the rest of the Eddie Murphy documentary.
A lot of people when they was answering me about it,
they was like, oh, did they talk about any of
like the crazy stuff in his career. No, they it
wasn't really a documentary trying to talk about all the
bad stuff and the good stuff. Its mostly talk about
the good stuff in his career, and like the bad
stuff he did on screen, Like I didn't know he
had got backlash a lot for I mean not like

(20:48):
back class like he got canceled, but like he had
got like a lot of bad reviews from Vampire Brooklyn,
which is crazy to me because I liked that movie.

Speaker 1 (20:56):
I know a lot of people that liked that movie.
But they say that was that movie, which I thought
it was. It wasn't one of his peak acting ships.

Speaker 2 (21:04):
Right, and they said that's the one that kind of
He was like, that's one that's kind of set his
career back Out Again and another The Damn Fall, And
that's what he said. It's crazy because it's a lot
of people I think I thought and Brooklyn was a
black coat classic and a lot of white you know,
forms of ship review bummed, So of course they gonna
think it's bad.

Speaker 1 (21:24):
But uh, it was a pretty good document. Just watch it.
It's just like I said last again.

Speaker 5 (21:31):
Yeah, they're talking about that in there too, because they
said once he had kids, he wanted to start doing
like a lot of more kids shows us up And
that's actually doing the kids stuff is what made his
career just like start back, you know, heating up because
he had Doctor Doolittle.

Speaker 1 (21:44):
Then he had straight care was it huh daddy daycare?

Speaker 3 (21:49):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (21:49):
They he had dy daycare. So I mean yeah, another
one of those iconic people that still living.

Speaker 1 (21:56):
Yeah, Pluto Nash was the one fuck up then it
was like a ship.

Speaker 3 (22:00):
I didn't even mention that in the movie maybe even
mention it. So that's why I thought that was That's
what That's the only movie I would say I'm his
that I I didn't care for.

Speaker 2 (22:10):
Other than that, all his movies I pretty much like,
you know, I watched forty eight hours the other day,
and I'm about to watch another forty eight hours. The
movie's hilarious, but yeah, that's all I got. We go
to the dojo, dre what you got, don what you get?

Speaker 4 (22:23):
The Game Awards nominees. So we have reached the near
the end of another year, which means it's time for
us to vote vote again for what. I don't know,
best games?

Speaker 1 (22:36):
You know, you know how it is.

Speaker 4 (22:37):
I don't do intros, so we will start with best
Game Direction. So for best Game Direction, I think it's
a surprise to no one. And you're gonna hear this
name a lot today. Claire Obscure Expedition thirty three. I
heard it a bunch, and I'm so happy for them.
Better sweet, I mean, I'm not gonna lie.

Speaker 3 (22:56):
They are on some of these categories bruh that I
don't think they should be.

Speaker 4 (23:03):
Maybe like two, maybe like two of them. We'll get
to so, uh, death Stranding too?

Speaker 1 (23:08):
Did you ever play that dream?

Speaker 3 (23:10):
No?

Speaker 1 (23:10):
I stick? The first one is a long gass game.
Bro Hide M D.

Speaker 3 (23:15):
Kajima the fuck out there walking simulated, But I got
a bike and ship?

Speaker 1 (23:19):
Now, why did you say? Yikes? Like what he's imuted?
I had to wait for the emine to go by.

Speaker 5 (23:28):
Oh that's just I feel like a career a ward
because what wasn't nobody talking about that game at all?

Speaker 1 (23:33):
I agree, I just got that because he's that's it.
I'm just being honest, but I would agree. I heard.

Speaker 4 (23:41):
I heard Death Stranding two was more of the same
and kind of in a direction that many fans of
the original didn't like.

Speaker 1 (23:49):
Now they can't. But but that is just you know,
me listening to reviews and stuff.

Speaker 3 (23:56):
Next time they said it was straight No, yeah, yeah,
I've heard it's good, but it's just more of the same.

Speaker 1 (24:05):
But the story is confusing. This hell, I love it though.
Next up, Ghost of Yote. Okay, that's a good game.
Have you played it?

Speaker 5 (24:15):
Yes, I played. I played the first half of it.
I'm not you know, so it deserves what list first?

Speaker 1 (24:24):
Next up is Hades two, which kind of weird.

Speaker 3 (24:28):
Not gonna lie, I think the hype same game, basically,
I'm not gonna lie to me.

Speaker 1 (24:35):
It ain't as good as the first one.

Speaker 4 (24:37):
Hades too has been in early access for like two years,
I think, and so like type yeah, that's why I
was like, I don't know, I think the hypeer, this
game kind of died. I guess you can't give awards
to early access games, so now that they're out, they're like, well,
let's acknowledge that. And then the last one for best

(24:59):
game direction is.

Speaker 3 (25:00):
Split fiction that might win, to that might win about
saying it's out of cloud scaring, split fiction that might win,
split fiction might win, split fishing might that's the sleeper here.
I said this year and from when I first ran it,
what's the cut off for the games though? To the
games that came out this year, that the cut off? Yeah,
I think it was like I think just before they

(25:21):
nominate got ark Raaders in there, hundred percent Ark Creators
did get nominated for something, not for best game Direction.

Speaker 1 (25:31):
No, I was just talking. They got nominated in general,
but yeah, why they ain't get got something? I would
put that in over Overhays just being under.

Speaker 3 (25:39):
Me too, because I remember Red Dead Too dropped in
November and Sweet the game.

Speaker 1 (25:46):
I ain't done yet, but this batch seemed like I
got a pretty good game direction to.

Speaker 4 (25:50):
On some ship that's not a good narrative. It's not
finished yet, though, I think that's far it is.

Speaker 1 (25:56):
It just finished?

Speaker 3 (25:57):
Yeah, Yeah, the last last episod I was like last week.
I want to say, oh, so they can't. I think
they might have got snubbed in they released like them
Telltale Games used to type shit. They're doing like two
at a time.

Speaker 4 (26:10):
But I'm right there with you, and speaking of our graders,
we can move to best multiplayer our creators, Okay, all right?

Speaker 1 (26:18):
With Battlefield six crazy?

Speaker 5 (26:21):
I mean, I mean, I mean they're not in the
same arena, Tony, come on, man, multiplayer and just a multiplayer.
I'll put our grades like two levels above Battlefield just
from what I've seen.

Speaker 1 (26:35):
I mean, niggas fuck with Battlefield six. It's hard.

Speaker 5 (26:39):
Didn't win this year over Call of Duty. To me,
Call of Duty been releasing the same game for the
last ten years, so exactly. But you know they tried
to do that twenty forty two ship and that was
just not good. Battlefield hype went down as soon as
Arc Greators came out. Nobody, nobody to kick for Battlefield
no more.

Speaker 1 (26:56):
All the Call of Duty niggas went to Battlefield. All
the dude I know still play, All them creatives I
know who play, they still on. They don't like Battlefield
like that. You know, they can't leave the Black Ops
sucks it. Yeah, I heard it. I tried to play.
I tried to play another day. They were bad. It
was bad campaign wise too. I didn't play the campaign.

Speaker 3 (27:19):
Campaign's worst, probably the worst thing I ever played. One
screen shot and I was like, is y'all playing zombies?
It was like, no, yes, they melded the zombies timeline.

Speaker 1 (27:32):
I'm not I'm not even playing campaign. Yeah, I don't
even know.

Speaker 3 (27:37):
I thought it was a weird open world. Everything's a
bullet sponge. I'm like, bro, I'm not playing fucking Destiny.

Speaker 1 (27:47):
No, right, Destiny. That's one thing they had right, was
campaigns over the last ten years, and they can and
they don't miss that. Yep, All Duties washed. They need
to fix themselves.

Speaker 3 (27:58):
Yeah, that's how old we are. We saw the rise
and fall of Call of Duty. I mean we've seen
it like twice. Elden Ring Night Rain. I'm gonna be
completely honest.

Speaker 1 (28:09):
I love Night Rain.

Speaker 4 (28:10):
I put like one hundred and fifty hours into it.
I do not think it'll win because so far from
what you've said is winning.

Speaker 1 (28:19):
So far.

Speaker 4 (28:21):
Next up Peak, I kind of think Peak they might win.
Peak is is really fun.

Speaker 1 (28:26):
These family games be having the edge. Sometimes they get
the maybe yeah they hit the cheat code the.

Speaker 4 (28:31):
Family that's the wider appeal, right, you know they got
they got that cheat.

Speaker 1 (28:36):
That everybody cheat. Anybody can play this. And then again,
Split Fiction was not.

Speaker 4 (28:42):
I don't know if it's I mean, I guess it's multiplayer,
but I don't know if when when I think of
a multiplayer game, I don't think.

Speaker 1 (28:50):
Of two games, you know, I don't think at least
two players co op. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (28:56):
Maybe that's just because obviously Peak is four, but it's
a different type of game.

Speaker 1 (29:00):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (29:01):
Yeah, it's like if more than one person can play multiplayer,
someone could tell me if I'm out of pocket for that.

Speaker 1 (29:07):
I don't know. I don't think it should be on
the rent. San Andreas was a multiplayer because it hit
the two player mode. That's weird.

Speaker 4 (29:14):
But exactly out of this list, I would agree Arc
Raiders should win. And it could be recency biased, but
I think I've actually put more time into Arc Raiders
than I haven't Battlefield, and that's kind of saying something
because I am a big Battlefield stand. I ain't gonna lie,
but our creators has been consistently taking my time. Now
we got best independent game, and this is one I

(29:37):
kind of was like, I'm not really sure if Claire
Obscure should be on this, but in some ways they
did start as an independent studio before like three quarters away.

Speaker 1 (29:51):
Through their development they got big funding. Oh yeah they did.

Speaker 3 (29:54):
Who I forgot somebody published them, didn't it. I forgot
who was the publisher.

Speaker 1 (29:59):
I don't Kepler Interactive. What the do they own? The
only studio the game studio.

Speaker 4 (30:04):
They did Rematch, they did Pacific Drive, Scorn and Seafood.
They're the publishers, not the developers. Okay, so I guess
given nothing I can see that, I would say that.

Speaker 3 (30:18):
Is their biggest game because they just they only published
all of them on indie games.

Speaker 1 (30:23):
Yeah, they are an indie game publisher. So you know
what this accounts, right? Fuck?

Speaker 3 (30:29):
It just.

Speaker 1 (30:32):
Another one. Another one. This is on Hades two. That
don't count, doesn't it?

Speaker 3 (30:37):
What?

Speaker 1 (30:37):
Which? Yeah? But it doesn't Intend though, No Hades too.

Speaker 3 (30:44):
I thought they were. I thought they were. I thought
they wanted to Xbox. No, that was a straight that
was straight Nintendo. Because HADS was only on Switch for
a minute.

Speaker 4 (30:54):
Super Giant Games purchased. They are they're just by themselves.

Speaker 1 (31:00):
Good ship.

Speaker 3 (31:01):
Yeah, go then, because I fun with hate is win,
I ain't gonna ain't Dad was goaded. I'm still picking
in now.

Speaker 1 (31:06):
I was on it beach. That's one of the only
reasons I still play my swititch. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (31:10):
And then Hollow Night Silk Song, the game everyone everyone
who loves helm Hallow Night was waiting for for like
three years. They finally got to take off their clown
makeup this year and they were rewarded for it. And
then a bunch of them bitch because it was too
hard undershirt shit, you just like the aesthetic, bitch. Yeah,

(31:31):
that first Hollow Night is not an easy game, so
I don't know what.

Speaker 1 (31:35):
They were expecting. People are stupid. That's like platform or
Dark Souls.

Speaker 4 (31:39):
And then these next three I have not played a
Solemn Ballpit and Blueprints.

Speaker 3 (31:45):
I've heard of the up Solemn game, but I ain't
really just I ain't just really just Dove Deep because
I saw somebody streaming that bitch, but yeah, I don't.

Speaker 1 (31:54):
It's stuff, bro.

Speaker 4 (31:56):
This was a bad bad year for to be an
independent studio with claiub Skier out there right and Silk
so yep, But on the topic of indies. We got
best Debut Indie Game, we got Blueprints again, so I
mean it must be a good game, Okay. Claireub Skier
Expedition thirty three De's pilote okay, which I think I

(32:20):
heard of his skin. This was like a weird arty game. Yeah,
where he's like talking about his childhood growing up playing soccer.
And then Dispatch Okay. I didn't know they nominated for anything,
so that's right. Okay, so they did make it.

Speaker 3 (32:36):
Hey, I mean, if they just decide, okay, let's give
claireumb sk a break, let's make this shit reasonable, because
you know, people been telling me to go watch Critical Role,
and I ain't know like that was the people that voiced.

Speaker 1 (32:49):
I saw a lot of the characters on them. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (32:52):
SAME's but for best Debut Indie Game, though, Claire ub
scurit this this is the one that I had kind
of an issue with because I don't know that I
would say they're an indy game, right, because generally indie games,
and also this might be the same for Dispatch, generally
indie games are like single developers. You know, one person

(33:12):
made this game in his garage.

Speaker 3 (33:14):
Right, Yeah, it ain't like it's like it's like it's like, now,
like twelve people in a garage. Now.

Speaker 4 (33:21):
Yeah, so I'm not I'm not sure that those two
should be on this, but I am glad to see
Dispatch on this list at all.

Speaker 3 (33:28):
Right, me too, Hey, a random man, this is all
really need to get it. You know, the nigga that
may Stardue Valley, the one dude you reminded.

Speaker 1 (33:36):
Me that is a true indie. Yeah, yeah, true. And
we still ain't got his next game because he's working
on He's.

Speaker 4 (33:42):
Still working he's still working on Stardu and working on
another game ukn' and he's.

Speaker 3 (33:48):
And he actually lets people know he's like, bro, I'm here,
but I'm.

Speaker 1 (33:53):
Just one guy.

Speaker 3 (33:54):
Okay, I'm just one guy can pump out a game
every three years, and right, it doesn't work like that.
I can't even go back and fix certain ship because
it'll fuck everything. Man.

Speaker 4 (34:09):
Best action adventure game Death Stranding two Ghost of Yota,
I would not either, but actually, uh, death Stranding too,
I've heard. I heard the guy has more action and
that is one of the things people don't like about
it is that there is a lot more fighting, and
that is not why they play the game.

Speaker 1 (34:30):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (34:31):
That's just what I've heard, not goa lie on the
first one. Like that's why it also takes me so
long to beat that game, because that's just be.

Speaker 1 (34:38):
Just driving at times and delivering.

Speaker 3 (34:40):
You just find shouldn't be like I can deliver this,
fuck you my weight looking like that's an adventure game.

Speaker 4 (34:46):
Goddamn it, Ghost of Yote, Hollow Night, Silk Song, I
could see that.

Speaker 1 (34:52):
Yeah, Indiana Jones in the Great Circle Deserved is fuck.

Speaker 4 (34:58):
That is a great RPS only. Yeah, and split fiction.
Split fiction can kind of fit on a bunch of
different you see a.

Speaker 3 (35:07):
Lot because it did a lot in their game. But
you know, honestly, I think Indiana Jones could get it.

Speaker 1 (35:14):
I hope it does, like legitimately, I hope. I hope
they win. They just deserved. And Troy Baker did great.

Speaker 4 (35:23):
And I would love to hear him do another Indiana
Jones game.

Speaker 1 (35:27):
He's said, oh, they are already working on a baby. Apparently.
I still gotta go back play the DLC. We're good.
I'm down. I need another one. He right, Like if
it's just like you just gotta go as hard as
the movies in game.

Speaker 4 (35:42):
Mode, and we see you can do it now, and
well we have to go to a quick break, but
once we come back, we will have more game a
wards after this and we're back, so I will we
don't have like a whole bunch of time lefts. I'll
do like maybe two more before we get to uh

(36:04):
the next thing. So next up we will do best narrative.
We have Claire Obscure Expedition thirty three, Naturally Death Stranding two,
Ghost Tojima Award, Ghost of Yote Kingdom, Come Deliverance to
Finally Deserved. I'm not gonna lie, dude, I forgot this
game came out this year, me too, right.

Speaker 1 (36:27):
That's the problem. Came out with the last DLC.

Speaker 4 (36:31):
Bunch of recency bias around here and Silent Hill.

Speaker 1 (36:34):
F did you play this? I've heard.

Speaker 3 (36:36):
Yeah it's legit because I've beat it twice, and apparently
you gotta beat it full times to get the true
and more time of a bitch now, all right, So
it's a good end and a bad ending, then it's
the weird freaky ending, then the true true ending because
you gotta beat it twice.

Speaker 1 (36:55):
But if you miss a certain part, you done fucked up.
One of those moments. You know it's island you gotta
do Yeah, you know it's islent here.

Speaker 3 (37:02):
You gotta do shit certain ways each playthrough, and you
gotta remember which playthrough this is because she remembers.

Speaker 1 (37:09):
Ship from her delay.

Speaker 3 (37:11):
It's like, you know how she can carry on new
game plus wise, yeah insteady going on in the store like,
wait a minute, that didn't happen the first play through.

Speaker 1 (37:19):
Okay, that's cool.

Speaker 4 (37:20):
I mean as long as it changes it up and
meaningful ways every time you play.

Speaker 3 (37:24):
It gets and it's like on their super deep you
know the Fox Demon in Japan thing.

Speaker 1 (37:30):
Yeah, it's it goes deep.

Speaker 3 (37:32):
In the day. And I was like, oh, before I
do Game of the Year, do y'all have any categories
you would like to talk about?

Speaker 1 (37:39):
What they got up for best RPG? Do they got
best RPG?

Speaker 4 (37:42):
They do best RPG? Avowed Claire Obscure Expedition thirty three.
Ah shit, well, Kingdom Come Deliverance too. Monster Hunter Wilds was.

Speaker 1 (37:57):
Written, still going, and the out World's too. I still
gotta run out of the World to everybody. So far,
Monster Hunter count as rpag still to this day. I guess.

Speaker 3 (38:11):
I guess I can see that I can action rpg here.
It is because I mean there is progression. Yea, yeah,
there's yeah, yeah, gear progression. That's what makes your rpg,
it really does. I think your progression is a staple
for RPGs you like. And that's all they got and
your hunt and right, ain't no attributes, nigga, that ship

(38:31):
is in your whip armor.

Speaker 4 (38:33):
This and then the one everybody's been waiting for. Game
of the Year Claire Upscire Expedition thirty three Death Stranding too.
I don't wait, this is Dama doing his thing. Regardless,
Donkey Kong Bonanza. Nintendo paid that. Nintendo paid for this.

(38:54):
I'm not okay they did it.

Speaker 1 (38:57):
They did.

Speaker 3 (38:58):
They did a lot to innovate their game. But game
of the Year they had to have a Swish game.
This was my only they had to have a Swish game.

Speaker 1 (39:07):
This was the Nintendo paid slot. But they used it
to be wrong strategically.

Speaker 4 (39:13):
Could be wrong. I personally have not played this game,
so I can't one hundred percent be like, oh no,
it's trash or whatever.

Speaker 3 (39:20):
But just from what I've seen, I'm good on a
game that runs nobody yes, okay, right, nobody would have
Swished was like, Hey, the Donkey Kome, but Naza is
the one.

Speaker 1 (39:31):
It's no I've heard no one say that shit.

Speaker 4 (39:34):
If one of our listeners will speak against it, please
do leave a comment, be like you're out of pocket,
take it back and I will I respect it and
I will say my bad Haites too, Hollow Nights, Silk Song,
and Kingdom Come Deliverance too. I did not know that
Kingdom Come would get a Game of the Year nomination,

(39:56):
but that is pretty cool. I'm happy about it because
I did hear luck to good first one actually from you.

Speaker 1 (40:01):
I heard lots of good from you because I'm still
running it.

Speaker 3 (40:05):
Because it's like, once you get to a certain part
that I thought it was like an exercise mission, but
now they get you out of d LCS it once
not because it's the complete edition type ship. So it's like,
god damn, I should have waited to tell you ship. Yeah,
like I want to see what happens with goddamn Arthur
type ship because they was like, this is it. They

(40:25):
feel like you know, but we still feel the next
game is gonna be just like you know, We're gonna
do the exact same.

Speaker 1 (40:32):
They own this historical ship. Yeah, and it's really good.

Speaker 3 (40:36):
That's what that's what we give them. That's what we
get them, the numb dations because that ship is accurate.

Speaker 4 (40:41):
I just I cannot wait to see how Claire op
Scars sweeps.

Speaker 1 (40:46):
I'm gonna be mad.

Speaker 3 (40:48):
I'm gonna take that game. I don't see what it's
weird and well to not good RPG.

Speaker 4 (40:56):
I don't have to do my predictions. Like I said,
I think Claire up Sciars is gonna sweep.

Speaker 1 (41:00):
What about you? Drake?

Speaker 3 (41:01):
Definitely Claise girl sweeping. And I'm taking a shot every
time they get in the ward. Y'all know we streamed
this shit every year.

Speaker 4 (41:08):
It's gonna be a good drinking game. Eli any final comments.

Speaker 3 (41:11):
Nah, I'm ready for everybody's favorite sigment was going on.
And first off, before we get to the game, we
gonna play.

Speaker 5 (41:18):
Me and Drake been playing Dispatch on stream, and so
we're gonna talk about our first pressures of it. Man,
I'm let you go ahead, go Drake, go first, Drake,
First off, what do you think about the world been
and they did?

Speaker 1 (41:28):
And what do you think about the storyline so far?
I feel like you interviewing. I mean, that's hilarious. But nah,
bro okay. So I like how they made it like
a weird future.

Speaker 3 (41:38):
It ain't even futuristic, but it's in the future, just
version of Hollywood where it's just superhero It's like The Boys,
but just actually just okay and not like super mad
evil type you know what I mean. Like it's like, yeah,
they got super powers and shit, but you know, we
actually work for a company, not vault type shit though,
you know what I mean, Like niggas just be chill.

(41:59):
Everybody got weird how is and ship. I'm appreciating it,
like niggas just like people, right, you know.

Speaker 1 (42:06):
With it so far, it's like I like it. I'm like,
I'm liking the world building, everything going.

Speaker 3 (42:11):
I'm like, Okay, niggas be having history too, Like niggas
know who you is, but then niggas don't know who
they is without the uniform to which is even more wild.

Speaker 1 (42:19):
I don't like damn like the Incredibles. It's a dude
to make everything with uh against his name Tony water Boy,
I have the power when I'm around the ladies. Did
you like did you like a visit girl? A visit
gal if VI's a bitch, Yeah, I hate her. I
hate her. I hate her from and even though is

(42:40):
her name of visit bitch or you just don't want
that that's name, but now that.

Speaker 3 (42:44):
Was her name when she wanted to be trying to
be good now and I appreciate that she's trying, but
god damn it, bitch, listen.

Speaker 1 (42:55):
I wanted to fire her from the beginning.

Speaker 5 (42:57):
I was like at the sport right now, I still
don't like her, but it feels like the story is
gonna make me have to like herself.

Speaker 1 (43:02):
It's like, I feel like you're gonna have a cool moment.
But bitch, can't you just listen? You know what I mean?
You trying to kiss blood? Bombshell? You damn right, I did.
I didn't. I pulled away. I said, I'm kiding, So
you part, you part of the six percent. Yeah, I
kept a player, bro.

Speaker 3 (43:19):
You know that at the end of each episode to
tell you what it's like, lot of people did the
same thing, you know, shoot a shooter, gonna shoot baby.

Speaker 1 (43:28):
I did shoot.

Speaker 3 (43:28):
I did shoot a shot from a half court when
I asked her to dinner. But then her boyfriend show, Oh.

Speaker 1 (43:36):
No, you should have went with him. Did you go
with him?

Speaker 3 (43:39):
No?

Speaker 1 (43:39):
Did you I ain't gonna. I ain't finna get cooked
out like that in front of everybody, y'all. No, it
didn't even gonna pick me up gracefully to hell. Now,

part of the game because the game is called Dispatcher
because you a super Row dispatcher. You gotta sign heroes
to situations that happened that they gotta go to. So

send the heroes based on their abilities where they need
to go and stuff like that. So I like that
part of the game too. Pretty good, pretty good.

(46:11):
But he slipped on the water and broke and broke
his tooth, burn tooth.
