Speaker 1 (00:00):
Trapp Trapp really like you never Welcome, Welcome, Welcome, Welcome
to another exciting episode of the Trap Nerds podcast.
Speaker 2 (00:09):
When this peace Man, how's it going? Bell is full
of thanksgiving.
Speaker 3 (00:15):
Too much?
Speaker 2 (00:16):
Been kicking it.
Speaker 4 (00:18):
Uh work than that, working on the house and chilling
going to work. Uh been been in and out of dispatch.
I gotta gonna beat it since back?
Speaker 2 (00:30):
Who beat it?
Speaker 5 (00:30):
What episode on five? Okay, you're almost done? Yeah, you're
almost up?
Speaker 2 (00:34):
What you got? Eight? I thought it was sipping. I
don't remember.
Speaker 4 (00:40):
I remember they were going by two, probably eighth, but
now I have thought where the wind where winds meet?
Speaker 5 (00:47):
My brother's straight, yeah, like he liked it a lot.
Speaker 4 (00:53):
It's weirdly okay, like I'm liking it so far. It's
a gotcha game. But it's like, you know, how once
what there was? There's just once human but picture crossing Tiger,
hit and Dragon.
Speaker 2 (01:05):
But you don't you gotta like build and all that
extra ship.
Speaker 4 (01:09):
But it's like shout out to China weirdly because they
actually been coming out with some okay, like you know,
I kind when I think of China and games, I
think and nothing but like straight, we want your money,
got your games.
Speaker 3 (01:24):
Yeah, I mean NAD is pretty pretty.
Speaker 4 (01:28):
But it's like I say, like between Black Myth and
Where Wins Meet, they're trying to like we still got
your game. But I kind of like how they're kind
of doing the little story you know how to you know,
with China, we don't.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
Really that's trying to happiness though.
Speaker 5 (01:46):
They don't explore enough of their culture like a miracle, dude,
that's why the world weird sport our culture trying to
need to start making English, making English movies and stuff
like that, just like so they can get into other couaches.
Speaker 4 (01:57):
Like because like with Where Wins Me kind of is
like them kind of doing it because you're like it
makes you start.
Speaker 2 (02:06):
I'm trying to think, you know how like a Ha
Sasu's Creed.
Speaker 4 (02:09):
Wherever they go, they still gonna give you, like the
history lesson which ship it does that even though it's
like a fantasy version of China, but you know, they're
still giving you the actual records and shit.
Speaker 2 (02:21):
And I'm like this is nice because I've been I've
been saying.
Speaker 4 (02:24):
Y'all niggas need to download it because they got co
Op and the parents that big go to six players
type shit but I ain't cause I've just been on
the single player mode so far.
Speaker 3 (02:32):
But I'm not gonna lie. I'm like kind of low
key boycott in that game because I don't like how
the developer pushed that it was an MMO and it's
not a fucking MMO. I like, it's the weirdest crash
out I'm having, but I just do not like. I
do not like that, And then everyone else is jumping
on and being like, oh, it's an MMO.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
No it's not.
Speaker 3 (02:49):
It's a soul like at best, Tony, that is a you.
Speaker 2 (02:52):
That is a you.
Speaker 4 (02:53):
Think that it is I know because it has a
hub with everybody and ship. It's like it's basically, once
you put that bitch on Cohi mode, it's an MMO.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
It's freedom. Not gonna lie once you just go co op.
Speaker 3 (03:06):
Can you see other people in the world? Yes, only
in cough though, because once you switch, it's like, all right,
sell me on it, tell me on it right now.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
You can still run shit with everybody, as you won't.
Speaker 4 (03:18):
But if you switch it to if you just want
to not play with people, you can switch it a
single player and still get the same experience. But the
times that I have done little rays and if they
got like a little like I guess you can call
it battle Royale shit, but it's straight melee actually just
works good with people.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
I'm enjoying it.
Speaker 4 (03:36):
I've won twice, like the first light out of the
first four times I went hard and this still be
a light level because when you switch to COI mode
it kind of level up depending on where you went
on solo U mode it level it, but it's.
Speaker 2 (03:51):
Kind of like you can't.
Speaker 4 (03:52):
You ain't got no grief in niggas that come and
just being assholes either, So it's like it's nice, it's fuquable.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
Wait, I thought there was people either or not.
Speaker 2 (04:00):
Yes, you can.
Speaker 4 (04:01):
You can select whether you want to just PVEE or PvP.
You switch this one you want to do.
Speaker 3 (04:05):
But I do want a PvP.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
You can just.
Speaker 4 (04:09):
Like say, you can either have your ship says to
always PvP or you can have it so if somebody
attack you, you got to accept it, like how fall
Out seven and six of this kind of But if
you just want to just be let that bitch ride,
you can type.
Speaker 2 (04:22):
Shit, but that means you just with all the ships.
Speaker 4 (04:25):
And I just switched to PC too, so now I
want to see how it's finna go, because.
Speaker 3 (04:29):
That was like, uh, how does the PvP work? Is
it just invasions, like you invade other people's worlds and
attack them or.
Speaker 2 (04:38):
Not arena.
Speaker 4 (04:41):
They haven't they got like it's all three If you
just do regular PvP, if you're running around in the
regular world and you see somebody, you can on sight
the ass But they also got like the battleground ship,
and then they got like the Battle Royale thing, but
then they got raids too. But then say you in
solo mode, you know how on uh what you call it,
(05:02):
like on hoigh on like Demon Sos and dark Souls,
you can have it's that little flame on the ground
and you.
Speaker 3 (05:08):
Could call for assistance. Yeah, they have that in solo mode.
Speaker 4 (05:12):
But if it's PvP, I mean, if you just going
on co mode, if like four y'all running that bitch
and just jump the main monsterle y'all still get this pep.
Speaker 3 (05:22):
Okay, you know what you sold me. I'll give it
a try.
Speaker 4 (05:25):
It's it's weirdly enjoyable, like because I just I've been
solo in it type shit. So now I don't switched
to PC because it was like Okay, so the other
shit too. I'm telling everybody, whatever you start on, make
sure you whatever you I started on PlayStation and I
fucked up because I installed it on Steam and I
(05:47):
started the game thinking I was like supposed to like
wait till I get to like the character creation shit
to like link it. No, no, wherever you make your
person going gold link, you gotta go to like your
set and go to the account shit and bind your accounts,
buyd all them business to whatever you want to play
on right now. Because I had to reinstall that bitch,
(06:08):
the epic version, just so I can transfer my nigga
from PS five be cause my nigga from PS five
getting nothing.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
So yeah, it's straight. I just like that. It was
they It's weird with uh, you.
Speaker 4 (06:19):
Know, because that shit happened to me with Yu gi
O Master do or too while accidentally forgot to like
length the account before I installed it on something else.
But it's fuck with able and them like and the
and the boss battles got strong. It gets it's like
a mix between because I ain't did like the buku
like high level, like you know, the first box and
(06:40):
then up to power the difficulty all the way up
to the highest one yet. But them bitches get real
depending on what the weapon you use, they get like
Devil may Crow mixed with el Denry because it gets
to the point where it's just you did. It's got
a pinpoint block and there's a goose, Tony, there's a
fucking goose.
Speaker 2 (07:00):
It's a random mission. They'd be like, brouh, it's a monster.
Speaker 4 (07:04):
It's a beast on the island, and you just swim
your ass to that out it's a goose.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
I'm not I'm fucked that goose. I'm not.
Speaker 4 (07:12):
I'm not there yet. Three hits you did, goddamn goose.
It's a fucking goose, Tony. I'm still traumatized. And I
done went back to that bitch like twice and I
still die.
Speaker 2 (07:23):
I don't know why.
Speaker 4 (07:25):
And I didn't have like some pinpoint I am blocking
every shot and I got it.
Speaker 2 (07:29):
I got a quarter of it's health away. So yeah,
is it.
Speaker 3 (07:33):
Because you don't have high enough item level or is
it just that hard both both? And I didn't put
in some hours on there, but yeah, I'm not ready it.
And then I looked on Reddy and then it's a
whole just like section to like fuck that goose And
I'm like, okay, it's not me.
Speaker 2 (07:50):
It ain't just me.
Speaker 4 (07:51):
You know, once you get there, once you get a
boss level on a redded page, it's like, yeah, that's solidified.
Everybody ran into the same goo. Ain't got their ass whooped.
I don't feel as.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
Bad no more.
Speaker 3 (08:03):
Yeh, feel a little better about yourself, right right?
Speaker 2 (08:06):
But I like where China's going with this, Like they.
Speaker 3 (08:11):
Just say, I like where China's going.
Speaker 2 (08:13):
Eggs right, you see what I'm saying. Like I didn't.
Speaker 4 (08:16):
I didn't see this coming out of China. But the
way it's built, it's like, we do we need some
you know, we don't need Kami China, you know what
I'm saying. We just need China being China.
Speaker 5 (08:27):
America as a whole need more competition. Maybe maybe we
would get better products. We get more competition than.
Speaker 4 (08:32):
Movies on some on some cultural ship, you know exactly right,
because ship.
Speaker 1 (08:38):
Maybe we have the same video video game re skining
ten ways every game get different stuff.
Speaker 4 (08:45):
Man, it's like I'm used to I'm used to this style,
but it's not Japan. No, It's like I'm used to
this style, but it's not Japan.
Speaker 3 (08:53):
Yeah, it's like what's here, right, I think that's what
they call it. It's like the Chinese version of like,
you know how we have like fantasy elves and stuff
like that. Well they have like what the whole Waxia
kind of universe, which is what that game is taking place.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
And it's I like it.
Speaker 3 (09:10):
It's pretty much you know, I'm sorry.
Speaker 4 (09:13):
He definitely it's like wosh yeah.
Speaker 2 (09:18):
But yeah, it's cool. I like it.
Speaker 4 (09:20):
It's like a nice little breadth of random fresh air,
like like, Okay, let's see what I did right there,
but what else? Even I still gotta be dispatched. Then
we have the back on the Saskari promo. We're still
doing it, but it's all it's really all of it about.
Speaker 3 (09:38):
To let's see Ben's stranger things. That was great. We're
gonna talk about that next week, and that's when we
do talk about it. Everyone, you're gonna have that next
part is gonna be out the next week after our episode,
if not the same week, so you'll have time. You
all have time. Take this watch.
Speaker 5 (09:58):
I'm in the middle of episode three right now, got
it on my ta y'all gotta watch it, God damn it,
because this should get wild.
Speaker 3 (10:04):
Welcome to Darry Yeah.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
It went really the last episode.
Speaker 4 (10:09):
I almost say it got real ciners out of nowhere
without the vampires.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
Just straight racism.
Speaker 3 (10:17):
That's a wild way to put that. But so other
than that, I've finished our graders and that's kind of
crazy to say. But I have nothing else to do
on there except grief. People, Now, what happens in the
end game? Okay, So essentially you it's not really a story,
to be honest with you, there's there's like the whole
(10:38):
story is you're coming together as it's supposed to be
as a community to like rebuild and salvage things from
the old world, and a lot of the quests basically
see you doing that like you will for example, you'll
go mark buildings for resources and stuff like that. And
(10:59):
that's essentially all the story there is really, I mean
the last mission, h you, it's part of the community
event that's going on right now. So like we have
gone to Stella Montes, which is like they found out
that there's a whole bunch of tunnels underneath Esperanza or Speranza,
(11:21):
that thing it's called, and so we're doing that and
then at the end of this story, allegedly, we're going
to find something else because these tunnels lead somewhere, but
we don't know where, but it is leading up to.
One of the last things you do is you put
all your resources towards expeditions. So expeditions are basically this
(11:41):
game's version of resets. So in other extraction shooters or
extraction games in general, they will have player wide resets,
so server wide resets every season, and it's just to
keep the game fresh, to reset the economy because like
this game doesn't have a player economy, but other extraction
(12:03):
games do. I don't know if what they plan to do,
if they plan to do that.
Speaker 2 (12:08):
So.
Speaker 3 (12:09):
Type right, and again you don't have to recess. So
like expeditions, you when you reach level twenty, you start
putting into a project and basically you collect a bunch
of resources. It's a resource sink, straight up, that's what
it is. You collect resources, put it in an expedition,
you go through the pages, and then you finish that
(12:31):
and you have to wait for the end of the
season for them to offer you the chance to reset.
So and then you get a whole bunch of rewards
like more storage, some perks, and they're saying like these
perks are just gonna be like buffs that are not
like gameplay related, but they haven't specified yet. We're gonna
(12:51):
find out, I think next week. But right now I've
done that. I've did everything, which was crazy because I
kind of a little harder. I've had a lot of
storage problems. I have the Mac storage, I have all
my stuff upgraded. I finished the expedition sinc. I've done
all the quests. I've done them all that now they're
(13:12):
starting to repeat, so there's not anything else for me
to do right now until next week. I think on
the ninth, and we get to see what happens if
that unlocks a new map or what what that's about.
I know there's like a snow front thing that's gonna happen,
or a new thing, but who knows. Who knows. I
(13:34):
will say it took me about eighty hours. I probably
could have done it faster if I wasn't dicking around
and griefing people. You know, our grads changes you. Okay,
you think you're a nice guy, and then you get
shot in the back one too many times. Then you've
had enough.
Speaker 2 (13:55):
That's become Yeah.
Speaker 3 (13:59):
Then now, now all I have left is PvP, and
I'm all for it. I mean, I can still farm
blueprints because I don't have all the all the blueprints.
Uh so there's that. But I'd rather just you know,
kill other people and get their blueprints. See if they
got it. Uh but great game, though, I put a
solid eighty hours into it. Oh eighty six hours, and
(14:22):
great Game can recommend, can recommend. I don't know that
they were you know what Game of the Year snub
For sure they got snubbed. I'm just gonna say it.
And uh, let's see what. I don't think I did
anything else. Oh, I mean, obviously we all had Thanksgiving.
That was great. I had three having another one this Saturday.
(14:43):
My family just can't do anything on the day of.
Speaker 2 (14:48):
Thanksgiving. Me after after quarter.
Speaker 3 (14:53):
Yeah, I learned how to make green bean cast role.
It's probably the widest thing ever, but it's great. Dude,
slash bro, I ain't gonna like some bacon fat in it.
Speaker 2 (15:03):
You can add it.
Speaker 3 (15:04):
Really, it's just like you don't like green beans.
Speaker 2 (15:06):
No, I like green beans regularly.
Speaker 5 (15:07):
I don't like the castro green green bean cast over.
I don't like no peace. Let's disgusting.
Speaker 3 (15:15):
I hate peace I'm with you right there, bro.
Speaker 2 (15:17):
That had nothing but the devil disgusting a whole bowl
of piece olad like, I bet you.
Speaker 5 (15:27):
I bet that a piece aed go platinum in Great Britain,
though you can take it over to England.
Speaker 1 (15:32):
Oh my, anything that they could cook it. No, that's
so good that I still better than anything they took
over there.
Speaker 2 (15:41):
It's sad, didn't it get up my?
Speaker 3 (15:44):
When I was a kid, my grandmother would not let
me leave the table if I didn't like something, and
generally it was because I was being picky. So I
would eat it and I'd be like, oh this is.
Speaker 2 (15:54):
Actually I eat peas I just don't like.
Speaker 3 (15:57):
And I could eat peas like normal piece. And but
she gave me peace soup one day. She gave me
peace soup one day. I literally she left me in
that kitchen until like nine or ten o'clock and she
was like, okay, whatever, go to bed, because I just
was I couldn't.
Speaker 2 (16:13):
You won You won that fight with saying I won that.
Speaker 3 (16:19):
I hated it.
Speaker 5 (16:20):
I walk around today in all family and I see
these kids getting toses of what they can eat it not.
Speaker 2 (16:24):
I just looked at shake my head.
Speaker 5 (16:25):
I don't I don't never remember getting a torst of
what I got to eat when I was Yeah, boy,
we had to eat what it.
Speaker 2 (16:30):
Was was cooked for us. Man.
Speaker 3 (16:31):
I didn't get anything else that night, for sure.
Speaker 5 (16:34):
These kids today did get toices actually to and they
go to the kitchen, go to the pop saying no,
I don't want that, Okay, I just want that.
Speaker 2 (16:41):
I don't never get I don't want that. I don't
never remember looking at no pot and say what I
don't want at all? Either you either finna eat this
or a knuckle sandwich. Niggas.
Speaker 5 (16:50):
Yeah, the nerve they south Now. I don't know what
happened to them. They just they just got soft out
of nowhere.
Speaker 3 (16:58):
They're tyling uh oh yeah, Tiland And that was my week, though,
Like how is your week?
Speaker 2 (17:06):
Dispatch?
Speaker 5 (17:06):
I finished playing Dispatch. I gave a review on my
stream efforts, but I didn't do it for the podcast.
I want to do that real quick. Uh, don't worry
about the gameplay. This is all about the story. The story.
Council games like this. I'm just being honest. This story
was a nine out of ten to the very end
for me, and I don't want to spoil what makes
it eight point five for me now.
Speaker 2 (17:27):
But it has to do with dolls there with some
white people stuff. That's all I'm gonna say this.
Speaker 5 (17:31):
Some white people stuff. That's all I'm gonna say. I'm
gonna say a dog is not worth that much anyways. Anyways,
I gotta finish this ship. Dispatch really good. The characters,
every character is good.
Speaker 1 (17:43):
The decision you make because I got rid of I
got saying that I got rid of Coop as a yeah,
as my hero.
Speaker 2 (17:52):
Did you get to that point yet? Yeah? Right, who
did you get rid of?
Speaker 5 (17:55):
I think I'm right there. I'm like, right at that point,
you got to get rid of one of them. I
got Recop. You know that this has they have some
conflicting storyline I did. I did the rare uh no
no game storyline.
Speaker 2 (18:08):
I didn't.
Speaker 5 (18:08):
I didn't get the six scene with either person. So
I got I got. I got friends down by both
of them.
Speaker 2 (18:15):
If I gave play, I did that. I did that.
Speaker 5 (18:18):
I did my real life run. I would answer questions
how I do in real life. I wouldn't be in
the seth like most people do to get the sex scenes.
So but it's a good story. The age character is
good in their own ways.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
Chase.
Speaker 5 (18:31):
Chase is one of my favorite characters. I love Robert
told one of my favorite characters. Not and and funny enough.
I like why the Boy.
Speaker 2 (18:38):
I don't know why. I like why Boy.
Speaker 4 (18:40):
You just can't help, but tonight like not, he's just
doing He's trying his best, damn it.
Speaker 2 (18:46):
I was.
Speaker 5 (18:47):
And by the end I like for a Number Man too,
because I didn't like him at the beginning, but by
the end, did.
Speaker 2 (18:52):
You ever like him?
Speaker 1 (18:53):
It?
Speaker 2 (18:53):
Like, Bro, did bitch ever grow on you? Yeah? By
the end they got me.
Speaker 5 (18:58):
I got I got I got drawn into the story,
so they got me. H. So this is eight point
five out of ten for me. Really good, really good
game man, really good game. And I think they should
do like a TV series, like an off script like
comedy like The Office, but with these characters.
Speaker 2 (19:16):
Bro, I think that would work really good.
Speaker 5 (19:17):
I think that would work really good and make a
little company stuff. You can have a low budget, you
don't need a high budget to do this and nothing right,
It'll work really really good. So those are my thoughts
on Dispatch. And like I said, I'm watching strange things
right now and later this week, uh Spartacus, how some
ashould come out, So I can't wait to watch that too.
On it's coming out, boy, the new Spartanan series. It's
(19:39):
a new Sparta. Yeah, yeah, I'm ready for it. But
this is taking place, this is this is the I
think they're doing the second Rebellion, the second slave Rebellion.
Oh okay, I think, but I ain't one hundred sure.
Speaker 4 (19:53):
I haven't read up on the story yet. When like, yeah,
there was a lot of them. There's a lot of them,
so at the start there's a lot of business. Rome
had rebellions all the time. But uh, yeah, that's how
my week went.
Speaker 5 (20:07):
Uh, we gotta go to a quick break, we come
back Exavier's turn.
Speaker 2 (20:11):
I'm sure he did a lot of interesting things after
this that's supposed and we were back. I don't know,
to hell you what I meant by that, but.
Speaker 5 (20:25):
He threw an ally bro Oh okay, damn. This is
always sound condescending, naturally. Oh no, I was being condescended,
but it was the condescending all.
Speaker 1 (20:36):
One week was good? Uh yeah, Thanksgiving was decent. Uh
favorite fat person holiday food was good.
Speaker 3 (20:43):
It was your favorite dish that Thanksgiving?
Speaker 1 (20:46):
Man, It's definitely the dressing are dressing the dressing that
my grandma both my grandma's cooked. I eat that without
cranberry sauce or gravy and it's still be good. Rest
and peace, huh, I said, some peace. That's how good
it is good. I like dressing. Dressing dece you gotta
put chicken into it.
Speaker 2 (21:04):
Taste good.
Speaker 1 (21:05):
Also, Uh yeah, I started watching I know I did.
I went down another Marble one hole. I watched Captain
America Winter Soldier.
Speaker 2 (21:13):
Uh oh yes, Oh, it's like crack.
Speaker 5 (21:16):
Every time I watched that movie, I start reminiscing about
what Marvel could have been, right, true, because when you
look at that movie as compared to the other like no,
I mean, of course I look and trust me, I
love Infinity warn stuff in game stuff, but it just
could have It could.
Speaker 2 (21:32):
Have win the whole nother level.
Speaker 5 (21:34):
If they just kept that tone that they had with
Win a Soldier throughout the series, it could have crazy. Yeah,
it's because it's crazy how these niggas just murking people
just like bullet to the head crazy, just killing niggas
in this show. And like, dang, you can tell this
is pretty This is like right because it's twenty fourteen,
This is like right before.
Speaker 2 (21:51):
Disney took over everything and yeah, it's good. Walk down remember.
Speaker 1 (21:55):
And then I never seen X Man Dark Phoenix before.
I know, everybody keep saying I've never I never watched it.
Speaker 2 (22:05):
I never watched it.
Speaker 5 (22:06):
No, that's only one of that trilogy that I didn't watch.
I got I got tired of it in the second movie,
I got, yeah you quick. They start putting mystake on
the team and she started leading stuff. I like, nao,
I'm over with it.
Speaker 1 (22:17):
And that's because the Hunger Games and Jennifer Lawrence and
ship like, they wanted her to be the leading I'm like, bro,
mystique did not do this. Mystique is evil, should not
do this but lead it. But uh, yeah, I started.
I watched that. It's a pretty decent movie. I don't
think if we judged about y'all movie taste, I don't
think ELI will.
Speaker 2 (22:38):
Like I'm uh tired of the Phoenix storyline.
Speaker 5 (22:44):
Yeah, the cartoons, movies and everything they always had on
the Phoenix stuff. They even do it in the comics
too much. I'm be honest, they even do it in
the comics too much. I'm like, come on, man, I'm
tired of the Phoenix stuff.
Speaker 1 (22:54):
Man, it's like she never really does anything but destroy
everything and then everything gets fixed back. But that was
a pretty decent movie. I'll give it a strong seven.
It's a really pretty decent movie.
Speaker 3 (23:03):
I like.
Speaker 1 (23:04):
I like what they did with night Crawler, and like
the fight scenes that they had. I wish it was
a little bit more action in it. I think that's
where it started to fall apart with me, when you know,
it's just a little bit too much emotional. But you know,
you're dealing with side cops and freaking Gene, so you
know it's gonna be some emotional ship but.
Speaker 2 (23:21):
About the nineteenth time. Yeah, but it's good.
Speaker 1 (23:26):
So then I stopped watching that, and then I started
watching uh x Men, the first one. I think I'm
just gonna start over from the beginning. Uh like more
than halfway through that right now.
Speaker 2 (23:36):
And also.
Speaker 1 (23:40):
Another Christmas movie I watched this week was How the
Green Goo Stole Christmas. It's George Opez movie is on.
It's on Peacock. I mean, I know it's racist, Uh
they they said way back a lot and the show
(24:01):
one good movie that George Ope has been in, not one.
Uh Blue Beetle, Come on, man, that wasn't like a
good movie. It was okay, but it wasn't like a
good movie. We did this in the review already.
Speaker 2 (24:10):
Man, heye in movies. He got the rock thing. He's
basically George Lopez and their movie.
Speaker 3 (24:17):
He's a special podcast.
Speaker 1 (24:21):
I remember I'm watching this one movie he was in.
He was just yelling and cussing out factory workers. I
don't know what the hell this movie was. It was
a really good movie. I saw a couple of minutes
of it when I was a kid. He's just yelling
and cussing out factory workers. All you got from it,
it's all hope of somebody, hopeing somebody could tell me
what the movie I had ship to do it construction work. No,
(24:45):
I'm saying factory workers same thing. No, it's not e
racist factor. Workers and construction workers.
Speaker 2 (24:51):
Are not the same thing. I mean I did both.
I guess you would know that both members of the
on the tariot. That's cool, that's close enough. Gay, What
are you talking about? What you don't know what proletaria means?
Is that like a religion? Great talk, y'all, great talk taradactyls.
(25:13):
That's how you spelled teradyctor Drake Ill go to a
black college man. He dropped, you should know about this movement.
If you go to a black coachman.
Speaker 1 (25:24):
That teaches that students teachers dumb ship Like I had
to take Alabra five different times.
Speaker 2 (25:29):
They didn't teach me that. Why did you take?
Speaker 1 (25:32):
How I kind of sucked the math? And then they
was like you gotta take this being time for to graduate.
That's why I said, all right, see y'all.
Speaker 2 (25:37):
Later I took duel enrollment in high school. And see
they didn't do that. They don't do it with the
smart kids in my high school and do that with
the dumbles. I just had to You just had to
sign up. They didn't let us do it. They say
you had to have a certain GPA to sign up
for it. That's the skilled issue right there. It's low
income schools keeping us down. No, no, stupid.
Speaker 5 (26:05):
But I was on the classes I was. I was
in the classes nigga with Oh yeah, I had a
four point on so I understand.
Speaker 2 (26:13):
About I had a two point five. What you the
classes like that? A two point five in Louisiana.
Speaker 5 (26:22):
Yeah, they have all these stupid rules and textas by
stuff like that. I had three point two all my classes,
passing all my class I was going to be on
the road, but I couldn't graduate because I ain't passing
stupid ass math text Get me.
Speaker 2 (26:34):
Started, yea, and taxes was important here.
Speaker 1 (26:38):
Yeah, you couldnt graduate no matter how smart you was
and how good you was at cool and it was
some niggas. The smartest ship you could not graduate until
you passed that tax test is the dumb.
Speaker 2 (26:48):
And that was this ship with us with g E.
Speaker 4 (26:51):
Because it's like you had to take the g the
math and history year eleventh grade year, then senior year
you had to take the science and English part. And
that's the only reason I was good, because I was
passing them bitches with high schools.
Speaker 2 (27:06):
I just was skipping class a lot.
Speaker 4 (27:10):
But the funniest ship I remember senior year brou because
you know how it's the you know, we're hood at school,
but it's some snooty kids to try to like that
we're so smart. It's we're in woodland, like like humble,
your damn self were in the middle of Synagral.
Speaker 2 (27:26):
Now come on, now tell you ship.
Speaker 4 (27:28):
And I remember the day we all got our results
back and I just saw niggas in the hallway crying
like they break it down and.
Speaker 2 (27:36):
Just boy, and I'm like, what the fuck going on?
And I walk in and I get my shirt.
Speaker 4 (27:41):
I made two masteries and my teacher staring at me like, damn,
you made two masteries.
Speaker 2 (27:46):
And I'm like, that's why I used to go.
Speaker 5 (27:48):
It's how I used to go on a household Xavier Bee,
we gotta be this all good job.
Speaker 2 (27:55):
Stressing it. When I get my pokord, all eight job
you stressing. And when I had seeds, they happened.
Speaker 4 (28:13):
He made see bro, they learned which class I was.
I was skipping because that was the class I failed
Type ship.
Speaker 2 (28:21):
I made one hundred percent and three out of my
four text is right.
Speaker 5 (28:24):
I made a hundred percent in history reading one and
the science one and nobody nobody.
Speaker 4 (28:31):
So they gave you, okay. See with that, it's like
either you made basic, advanced or mastery. They come and
I kept making masteries. That's the only reason I got
like I could just like do dul the road and
all the interest ship because I was fast in my state.
Speaker 2 (28:48):
My state.
Speaker 5 (28:49):
I was just came at the end of the year,
so I wasn't like that he just came in the year.
And once you were done the allo school work.
Speaker 2 (28:55):
She came in.
Speaker 4 (28:56):
It came like towards the end. But like you know
how you come back from Christmas break, that's when you
get them bitches. So that's how you know whether or
not your ass flunked or not. And I was like, nope,
that year, we don't have one at the end of
the year.
Speaker 2 (29:10):
Because if you ain't past that, bitch, you ain't graduating buddy.
But I've seen some kids that have that was getting
good grades, bees and stuff, and they would fail their taxes. Nigga.
Speaker 1 (29:18):
I was like, that's wild, that's wrong, bro, made the school.
That's stupid, man. Yeah, you pass everything school. They would
not only that, they wouldn't let you go on on
field trips. You couldn't leave the school. You couldn't even
do it. Like the only thing you can do is
a super six. Like they they were like, basically you
was in prison, bro, you couldn't. They started trying to
the top, make you do extrarac activities all because we
passed a stupid ass test.
Speaker 2 (29:38):
That's what I'm saying. You have to be able two
point five. Nigga.
Speaker 1 (29:42):
I was said she was a three point two for
a person of my intelligence. That's that's actually pretty good,
because I'm dumb. I I wasn't good at high school.
Speaker 2 (29:51):
You once you drive past two point five, now you
kind of retarded.
Speaker 3 (29:57):
Three point two not terrible.
Speaker 2 (29:59):
That's kind of up above average. Yeah, I know that's
what I'm saying.
Speaker 1 (30:03):
I would because I definitely had the intelligence of somewhere
with like a two point oh GPA. But they they
were like, nah, he's gonna do some wild ship. It's
like they were doing everything they could to keep us
from like graduating. Bro.
Speaker 3 (30:18):
I was like, bro, this, but I ended up anymore,
not anymore now shoot through.
Speaker 2 (30:23):
Bro.
Speaker 3 (30:23):
It's kind of sad. I ain't gonna lie my little Yeah,
my little brother in third grade.
Speaker 5 (30:30):
I think it's better than it used to be. Though,
I agree with this method more than that than stupid taxis.
I'm just being honest.
Speaker 2 (30:36):
I got this ship.
Speaker 3 (30:38):
I'm just saying that. My my brother was making twelve's
in class. He got credit on one of his state
exams for signing his name.
Speaker 2 (30:46):
Oh damn. They always did that though, and then they
pushed him out. It's not like some charter school ship.
Speaker 3 (30:52):
And they just pushed him through.
Speaker 2 (30:53):
It was so sad because they don't want to put it.
Put up with him.
Speaker 3 (30:56):
It's much better now.
Speaker 1 (30:57):
Still no education still need to be reformed. They still
do get me started. Real but I'm gonna say it again.
Speaker 5 (31:05):
Our education said we need to take up some notes
from like the northern Nordic countries, like feeling and stuff.
They spend less time in school, but they but they
outcomes is way better, and we spend all this time
in school. Now outcomes of our children is way worse
than all.
Speaker 2 (31:17):
These other countries.
Speaker 5 (31:18):
As wild man, because hours y'all been to school. Y'all
been in school. There's no need for eight hours in school.
Come on, man, be honest with yourself that we were
just doing nothing.
Speaker 4 (31:30):
Man, half the time they trained it, they trying to
they mental hazing. You forgot damn to get They meant
to training for work to day. You have to be
productive in the workplace. Yep, you're right, Dres. That's all
it does. Yes, they just they just training you for
them eight hours in the workplace. That's all they doing.
Speaker 1 (31:46):
Because once she started, do you ever like when you
first started your first job. He's like, damn, this is
this kind of like school.
Speaker 2 (31:52):
Same thing. Yep, we had city classes take tests and
all that.
Speaker 4 (31:55):
Ship orientation capitalists are soldiers orientation is the warm up.
Speaker 2 (32:02):
But back to all heard at tangent. But back to
what I was talking.
Speaker 1 (32:06):
Yeah, the gringo Stow Christmas Starr Joejpez basically has his
daughter who stays out of if I told that before,
it's like it's like guess who's coming for dinner, but
like a Mexican version because his daughter's come bringing her
boyfriend home who is white. And of course George Opez
a dad, he got an issue with it. And but
(32:26):
it's ding Christmas, so he's coming down for Christmas dinner.
It's like it goes through the basic.
Speaker 4 (32:31):
Sounds like about seven George Lopez movies, but Christmas it's
like a Hallmark movie.
Speaker 2 (32:39):
That I'm about to say.
Speaker 1 (32:40):
It has this Hella hard Harrormark feeling to it, but
way more cussing and like best where I mean it's
not that much because, but more cousin than the Harrormark
movie would have.
Speaker 2 (32:52):
So he got the same rule. If you don't if
they can't use your column, don't bring him home. That's
what his rule too. Yeah, he's bad.
Speaker 4 (32:59):
Do y'all remember School Dance where George Lopez was the
exact same thing, but his daughter was like crushing on
a black dude.
Speaker 2 (33:08):
Yeah, he's like Kim Kardashian. I forgot about that. I
just remember because like, Bro, I want to dance.
Speaker 4 (33:17):
He was like, bro, just standing becausin how the top
of the car started getting it all like, oh ship.
Speaker 2 (33:24):
That was a funny ass California movie.
Speaker 1 (33:28):
It's not terrible. It's a funny movie if you like comedy.
It's a pretty funny movie if you like George Lopez
type comedy.
Speaker 2 (33:34):
Like his stand up.
Speaker 1 (33:35):
He does a lot of the man uysms and like
the things he's saying and stand up. He does kind
of act like that in the show too, so it's
kind of like everything.
Speaker 4 (33:43):
Though I was gonna say it's like he does that
in area, so basically, so it's basically the George Lopez Show.
Speaker 2 (33:51):
Christmas Special sounds pretty accurate.
Speaker 4 (33:58):
Saying you show you weren't watching the George that was
the name of the episode.
Speaker 2 (34:03):
I was, oh, man, that's.
Speaker 3 (34:08):
Kind of like all he does. It's the George Lopez Show.
Blue Beetle Edition.
Speaker 2 (34:13):
And I had a fan.
Speaker 5 (34:14):
I love George Lopez, but after a while it's the
same stuff. And you get older and like you just
kind of kind of yeah. I love George Lopez. I
was in high school.
Speaker 2 (34:24):
I used to watch George show religiously. Bro. Bro, that's
as you gonna you wake up three in the morning
in this show playing.
Speaker 4 (34:35):
Raw.
Speaker 1 (34:37):
It's a little hoo. I still sain't go check it out.
It still was a pretty good movie. Kept me interested
the whole time.
Speaker 2 (34:42):
How old is it is? New? No, it's like two
years old. It's came out to that twenty three. I
never heard this movie stuff though, you have fallen because
I never heard of this movie. Man, you. I had
to dig deep and the I just typed Christmas and
just started scrolling down.
Speaker 1 (35:00):
I dug deep in like the archives on Peacock, and
I found it. I'm gonna do that again. I'm gonna
find a couple more movies. There's a lot of interracial
movies on there, but I don't like it.
Speaker 3 (35:08):
Whyation or something.
Speaker 2 (35:13):
Stop doing that. Don't use it, like man, no.
Speaker 4 (35:20):
Race mixing many There is the second big words.
Speaker 2 (35:26):
Reading.
Speaker 5 (35:29):
Oh yeah, I am a couple of weeks away from graduations,
so I have your sudden a lot, bro. The second time,
my hands is just thinking about like what the fun
he's just say He said that like he was he
was a Jim Cross South bro.
Speaker 2 (35:42):
He said, I don't like it. I don't like it.
It's not even like that.
Speaker 1 (35:46):
It's just like the type of black person that they
put with the type of white like I don't know,
I guess when they do it with the black dude
and the white girl.
Speaker 2 (35:52):
Is usually masses because like the I don't know something
about white girls me, it's always I mean it usually
about if you make a white dude, it's always a
corny dude. They do that every time.
Speaker 1 (36:03):
What I'm saying, most of the thing is dy white girls,
the corner ones, but the Black Republicans, like like the
kid Pill.
Speaker 2 (36:12):
The Black Conservative Front.
Speaker 5 (36:14):
This is the same dude, same dress and everything, just
like Ke and p Nigga probably in the military.
Speaker 2 (36:22):
Light skin is one of our both.
Speaker 1 (36:25):
But then he acts like he all be doing what
they're doing, Like, bro, date white women, you know exactly
what the you're doing. That's not the first white girl,
like be realistic. But then what they doing with the
black women, like it's always like the hood black woman
with like corporate looking white dude. I'm like that that
never happens.
Speaker 3 (36:38):
How do you know why does the movie exist?
Speaker 2 (36:42):
Because it's stupid. Don't get like I get racist. You
already got racist. Man who started.
Speaker 3 (36:57):
This?
Speaker 2 (36:58):
We are here? I turned to doctor or real quick.
Speaker 5 (37:04):
They always it seems like they've picked the black people
who always have who have white white mothers.
Speaker 2 (37:09):
But you can tell the different between the black person.
Speaker 4 (37:11):
They have white mother I swear to godwhere to God,
it's always if And y'all been not trying to make
it weird, like y'all being weird, Like now you know
the ones?
Speaker 5 (37:23):
Yeah, you know the exact ones. What you elaborate, what
you you ain't gonna you ain't understand it. Uh, let's
see how I kind of explain.
Speaker 2 (37:35):
I'm trying.
Speaker 4 (37:35):
I'm trying to think of one. Uh do you know
the dude that was the black dude from the D
n D movie?
Speaker 2 (37:42):
Yeah, Madrid, Yeah, that's that type of that type of
black dude.
Speaker 5 (37:48):
Like if you have if you have a white mother, Tony,
you're more likely to use coach Like I'm not black,
I'm oj so you have you have?
Speaker 2 (37:58):
You have?
Speaker 3 (37:59):
You know what I've actually heard someone say that, Yeah,
it's support.
Speaker 2 (38:05):
It's like the niggas that be like, I'm black, but
I'm not that black guy. Yeah, I'm not one of
the bad ones.
Speaker 5 (38:13):
Because if you have a black mother, she's gonna make
sure you know you black. I'm just being honest. She
makes sure you know you black. Even if you both
your parents back your black mama. Make sure you know
you black all the time. That's the first thing they
tell you when you come out the wom you black,
That's the first thing they tell you.
Speaker 4 (38:27):
Man, Hey, Tony, I'm talking about the black dude there where.
If they see me and you together, he gonna approach
you first.
Speaker 1 (38:35):
It's just wild true, that's right, because white people, they're
not black kids. They black kids grow up thinking they're white,
but that you could adopt them. But stop making them
tell them alone. You don't say that you're a black person.
Speaker 4 (38:51):
No.
Speaker 2 (38:52):
The dude, the black dudes that say nigga weird, Yeah,
you would tell that. They kind of get stuck on
their tongue when they say, like, do you say that normally?
You don't say that. Do you have to eat all?
What you said? Is that what's going on here? Man?
Is that going on? Are you trying to like HOODI
fire your words around me it's like Atlanta.
Speaker 1 (39:15):
It's like the episode Atlanta would Dud was having an
identity crisis and he's on the video game.
Speaker 2 (39:21):
He called the dude. He was like, shut up, your
fucking nigger. I was like, Bro, he's black. Who's black? Atlanta? Bro,
that's the first, Like I said the last time. The
first couple of seasons, Atlanta was greatness.
Speaker 1 (39:31):
Bro.
Speaker 4 (39:33):
If you're trying to you're trying to daff him up,
but he keeps shaking your hand.
Speaker 2 (39:38):
Yeah, he's kind of soggy to jail C. I would
live red for why do you think? Why why do
you think she over here with us girls?
Speaker 1 (39:54):
Why do you think was the man that's nibber you gay?
The matter was so good man. I was like, y'all, okay,
y'all be doing that. I guess he's like, nah, bro,
you on outside, best of Boodyosh.
Speaker 2 (40:12):
It's a whole difference.
Speaker 1 (40:13):
Man. Oh crap, oh man. We need to go to break, man.
But that's all I have for my week. We gotta
go to a quick break when we come back Eli's
corner after this and we were back Elo, what you
got all right?
Speaker 2 (40:33):
You don't? We have our xter list of movies. But
I m d B has an xter list of movies.
Know this ship is gonna be asked.
Speaker 5 (40:40):
Some of them are good Dre. But some of them
I don't agree with you. I'm just being honest. Some
of them are Eightier moves. They got some eight tier
moves on here, and they got a couple of Beater
moves on here, I think. But all all, this is
an okay list for IMDb DRE. It's okay for them.
Speaker 3 (40:54):
Bro alright, I guess you said it. Let's see, okay,
The Dark Knight.
Speaker 2 (41:00):
I agree with this one. This is an Estern movie, okay.
Speaker 3 (41:03):
All right, it's nice open Are these just like in
any specific order, not in order?
Speaker 5 (41:08):
Just Christopher Nolan, Christian Beale, Is, Heath Ledger, Aaron Eckhart.
This is a This is an Ester movie to me, man,
it's not a ten because a tin is different from Ester.
A t me is a perfect movie.
Speaker 2 (41:21):
It'ster.
Speaker 5 (41:21):
You're gonna have to have a perfect movie. But it's
a really really it's a great, almost perfect movie to me.
So Ester Dark Knight is a Ester moved to me.
And it got a non flop yeah, not flop job.
This next one, though, I'm not gonna agree with you.
We have a conversation about this Joker as a jokers
first jo it's to me, it's an a t Yes,
the first Joker is an ATERR move to me, it's
(41:44):
a hobby or high low ater moved to me.
Speaker 2 (41:47):
But it's not ester move because I do feel like
it was it was. It was overhyped. It was over
it was. It didn't.
Speaker 1 (41:55):
It didn't seem like a like it's superhero movie. It
just seems like a dramatization of Joker. And I'm saying
it's a good, a tier movie. I'm gonna be honest.
I don't think it deserves all the Oscar Awards that it.
Speaker 5 (42:07):
God, I'm just be honest. I know I'm gonna sound
like I hate her, but I'm just I'm just being honest.
Speaker 2 (42:12):
You know. That's how that's my job. But it was
not not as many as it got.
Speaker 1 (42:17):
I do may Yeah, I don't got too didn't it
I got a whole bunch It was directd what his
name got best after?
Speaker 5 (42:23):
Yeah, But he had a who bunch of nominations though
it was nominated for like random Ship, like that soundtrack
was not that good to be dominated. It was starting
It was directed by Todd Phillips and starting uh Joaquin Phoenix,
Robert Niro an Zizy beats. That's but it's way better
than that second. I don't know what they think of
their second joke. I can't always my time watching that movie.
(42:46):
Make an in few the superhero movies, that's what they say.
Speaker 3 (42:49):
Yeah, he was basically throwing attention because the studio made
him make a second movie. Wow, I can crime me
a river, bro, gotta make more money.
Speaker 2 (42:57):
Wow, Oh no, I gotta make money. I need please, Ben.
Speaker 5 (43:01):
We need to start writing scripts. I'm telling y'all, we
need to. We need to get together one day, just
have a group writing says and start writing scripts. We
can do better jobs. And half of these people be
real because you owe me twenty damn dollars. Todd Phillips,
I hate, I hated that I waste my time seeing
this movie.
Speaker 2 (43:16):
Man like that.
Speaker 3 (43:18):
That that movie kind of ruined the first one for me.
I know, I'm just gonna be honest, true, true, you're right, you're.
Speaker 2 (43:23):
Right, Tony.
Speaker 4 (43:24):
That's what also like, that's what that's what killed it,
to be an I'd say if it wasn't for the
second one, I might would have argued it being this tier,
but nah, the second one done.
Speaker 2 (43:37):
That second one is like a strong minus, like.
Speaker 1 (43:42):
As good as it retroactively took the movie because the
second one was supposed to explain a lot of ship
that happened in the first one too, but it didn't.
Speaker 2 (43:51):
I can't even I can't even believe that Phoenix read
that script and agreed to do that movie. I can't. Yeah,
I can't believe that.
Speaker 3 (43:58):
I've been waiting to see that was a paycheck movie.
Speaker 5 (44:01):
I would have threw a fit like all the Game
of Throngs actual did. When they read the finale. They
were mad at that table where they're reading.
Speaker 2 (44:06):
Them to They were mad at the table.
Speaker 5 (44:08):
Bro oh god, Okay, another one I don't agree with.
They got it on her v for Vendetta. That's then
are moved to me. I love politics and stuff, but
that's an atre moved to me.
Speaker 2 (44:17):
That's not a to me.
Speaker 3 (44:19):
Yes, I love that movie like I did. I don't
sing praises for that movie, but I don't think it's
It's means.
Speaker 5 (44:25):
It's transcendent, man, it transcends bounds the space of time.
Speaker 2 (44:29):
Man. Viva Vendetta is a great movie. But I don't
think it's es tear. I'm just being be mad in it.
To me, I feel like V for Vendetta is a strong, solidified.
Speaker 5 (44:38):
B tier cold class. Okay, Okay, I love I love it.
I love what it stands for. So it's always gonna
be a trier for me.
Speaker 4 (44:46):
I love you know, you know with me, I'm always
go to the being in side, like how hard that
that bitch hit in the movies?
Speaker 5 (44:53):
Yeah, And I just loved Natalie Portman in this man.
She was so good and it was great. I just
love it over out crazy man.
Speaker 2 (45:02):
You couldn't. You couldn't. You couldn't. Your brain couldn't work
on enough to understanding.
Speaker 1 (45:06):
Man.
Speaker 2 (45:08):
Politics is not that hard to understand, man, Come on, man,
the message was so good. It's it's simple.
Speaker 1 (45:15):
Another one people keep on saying ship like, oh, it's
the same thing happened to be for in Dealer. Shut up,
don't get back, and you don't understand the movie because
you never saw.
Speaker 2 (45:27):
The movie. Ad calls some ship, don't say.
Speaker 5 (45:33):
See if you agree with this, I'm gonna keep my
my feelings out for this one, So get y'all feelings
out there first.
Speaker 2 (45:38):
He me with it The Matrix, The Matrix, It's tears.
Speaker 3 (45:41):
Oh yeah, that's tear for me. It's it's one of
my favorite movies.
Speaker 2 (45:46):
Yeah. It did kind of revolutionize a lot of things
a little bit. It gave us bullet time.
Speaker 3 (45:54):
Yeah, I'm guessing you don't think it's as tier movie.
Speaker 2 (45:57):
Matrix is a tier movie.
Speaker 3 (46:00):
I just I strongly disagree now to me.
Speaker 5 (46:03):
First of all, after you look at Matrix two or three,
the storyline gets sanitized a lot.
Speaker 2 (46:09):
I've deduction points.
Speaker 5 (46:11):
Yes, I have to, because once you have a trilogy,
I can't take one movie. I have to take the
whole thing as a whole. And once you see Major
two or three, you sanitized the first Matrix a lot
the storyline.
Speaker 2 (46:22):
I feel that, but I still keep it at this too.
And I'll be honest.
Speaker 5 (46:25):
When we first saw Matrix, I never thought it would
transcend it, being honest, even back as a kid when
I saw it first, I wasn't obsessed with Matrix like that.
Speaker 2 (46:34):
Tell you. I wasn't assist with the storyline that much. Man,
No Matrix had my ass on the choke code, not
gonna lie. See.
Speaker 5 (46:41):
I was more, I would put I was more like
I was more trans bib Be for Vendilla just being honest,
that's the storyline.
Speaker 2 (46:50):
Took it like had a choke hold on me. I
feel that, yeah.
Speaker 3 (46:53):
I think the Matrix had more of a choke hold
on even even did have like was like impactful movie.
Speaker 5 (47:01):
But not on the same level it was it would
be for me for for real. How Was I wouldn't
listen how Was I Want came out? I tried to
watch Oh yeah, two thousand and five. That's when I
was getting my political opinions too. So that movie it
got a special place in my heart.
Speaker 4 (47:16):
Man, I feel I can see that, yeah, because I
was like seven when The Matrix came out. That was
like one of my first like what current like I
guess like fighting movie. That was like my the lobby
shootout scene when it was there, But bro, that was
that was this is cinema photography right here, this one.
(47:36):
I was like, this is peak like this when I
started I love my gun my super cinematic gun fights
and ship.
Speaker 5 (47:44):
That was the Matrix for me type. So that's why
I can say that's my is to this. Next is
for Tony and Dre because I never seen this movie.
Harry Potlter and the Deathly Hollows Part two is that
it is to movie.
Speaker 2 (48:00):
You know why we haven't seen Harry Potter.
Speaker 3 (48:03):
God Little Fire stands above that movie.
Speaker 4 (48:05):
Yeah if yeah, I would if it was God Little Fire,
I would have been like hell yeah, but d yeah,
they has a good ages here for for me, I
think the story just the Aska Band is over is
like over all them.
Speaker 3 (48:20):
Yeah, I would say Prisoner Ask is better than that.
I don't know, I just I don't. I feel like
the story got lost in the Deathly Hollows. I don't
know if because they stretched it out to two movies.
I haven't read the books, so I don't know. I
just know what I've been given in the movies.
Speaker 4 (48:37):
It's like in the books they they at least in
the books they explained a lot more, you know. I
feel like in the movies that were rushed a lot
kind of But the Battle of High Once was forever
Lid type ship. I will say that that that was
peak one throwing right the we will never see that.
I just remember all the skits and stuff they do
(48:58):
with the Wanes, people lit around and stuff.
Speaker 2 (49:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (49:02):
True, Somewhere they're gonna Readboo Harry Potter soon I'm sure.
Speaker 2 (49:05):
I know.
Speaker 4 (49:07):
I'm still scared for this show. And James Potter was
a very ain't ship person. I'm standing on there like
Jesus Christ.
Speaker 2 (49:17):
Next, this is what this is on listen.
Speaker 5 (49:19):
One of my favorite movies of all time, one of
the best moves all time, and the best Lord of
the Rings, Lord of the Rings, the Two Towers.
Speaker 2 (49:28):
I was waiting.
Speaker 5 (49:29):
I was like, Lord, right, bro, I've been watching that
at school. That's the first time I seen that at school.
That won the best move Like I was in the
choke holding that movement. I was in the trends. I
was just staring at the screen after that, Two Towns,
three hours of movie cinematic greatness.
Speaker 4 (49:47):
Man, oh so good Man, Two Towels almost made me
become a Lord of the Rings nigga and leave Harry
Potter that ship you not?
Speaker 2 (49:57):
That was peak?
Speaker 5 (49:58):
Like parents, your kids have one Floyd the Rings, you
gotta get them on that Lord of Rings, so good,
The Two Towers. That's that's like greatness. I still I
still dream about this movie. Man, whenever I get a
chance to watch Two Towers, I watch it.
Speaker 4 (50:09):
Man, you watch it's edition, Yes, yes, yes, that's why
I brought this sword from a medieval times type shit
because it reminded me of the Lord of the Rings.
Speaker 3 (50:20):
So I think that trilogy has is the first Triloa
to released like an extended edition. That just made the
movies even better.
Speaker 5 (50:28):
I've been watching behind the scenes stuff and figure I
find out how they did the height stuff and how
they made everybody did all that.
Speaker 2 (50:36):
Man, and it was cool.
Speaker 4 (50:38):
You what it was? I forgot I wish horse scene
it was where it was like all the horsemen over
the hill and there was nothing. Most of the women
just with beards on them. And ship they had a
lot of nice little I appreciated Lord of the Rings
because a lot of this ship it was CGIs fucked,
but a lot of this ship was practical.
Speaker 2 (50:55):
It's hell.
Speaker 5 (50:55):
Yeah, they did a good job with all that stuff. Man,
I need to go back and watching it again. I
ain't watched it in a couple of years. I need
to watch it again.
Speaker 3 (51:02):
Yeah, they didn't do the green screen well, I mean
the obviously, but they didn't do a lot of them,
like separated from the actors thinking tell the hobbit. You
know when Ian McKellen had the crash out, alid crash out.
Speaker 1 (51:14):
I understand scene. I've seen one scene from The Hobbit,
and I like to walk in like the Hobbit. Like no,
I walked into all them niggas tickling each other.
Speaker 2 (51:23):
I was like, I'm good. The Hobbit was good to me.
A lot of people didn't like it, though, but I
liked it. I liked it. It was okay. I appreciated it.
Speaker 5 (51:31):
Uh nixt they gotta they just got a beat your
movie sitting here for some reason. Eight male, Look, it's
a cod classic, but that's a beat youre movie.
Speaker 2 (51:40):
You cannot get that.
Speaker 3 (51:42):
That's not a tear movie.
Speaker 2 (51:44):
Strong Betair Coke. Why is it? Why?
Speaker 4 (51:48):
You know what?
Speaker 3 (51:48):
Why don't you make the argument?
Speaker 2 (51:49):
Why is why? I sha say, why is it? Of
all the movies on this list itself? For Dark Knight,
I probably seen that movie the most.
Speaker 1 (51:58):
They have nothing to do with it, know what I'm saying,
like bias, but somebody liking it a lot doesn't have nothing.
Speaker 5 (52:05):
No, it's there's the criterion forster Man as great actors,
great script. Oh you think that great actress, great script,
great movie, gotta be all three.
Speaker 2 (52:19):
I'm sorry, but MLK it was. He did a good
job in the movie, Like it wasn't. He literally was
good in the movie, and the script was all over
the place. You just say he acted good.
Speaker 5 (52:32):
Come on, man as itself is what I say. The actors,
great script, great movie, and it's none of those. I'm
still watching any time though. Just see Papa Doctor. It's
a great get a get out wrapped in the rap battle.
Speaker 2 (52:47):
But that's it.
Speaker 4 (52:47):
It's not it's not a it's not an Ester movie.
I like to look at a man as an origin
story for Captain America. After that he went to the military.
After that, he went to the military, became the falcon
in Now look at him me Captain America.
Speaker 2 (53:05):
Next. I know not of y'all. A lot of y'all
ain't gonna know this movie, especially all listeners. But this movie.
Speaker 5 (53:10):
I remember going to see this movie and high school
and I had to get I had to my aunt
had to bouy the tickets because they wouldn't live. You
were sixteen. You couldn't buy the lady movies back in
the day. I don't know if it's still likes it,
you can do that. Yeah, Blood Diamond, Yeah.
Speaker 2 (53:29):
Yeah, it is a movie.
Speaker 1 (53:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (53:32):
I never saw about her as good as hell.
Speaker 5 (53:34):
Jennifer Connley in the two B This movie. I know
a lot of y'all probably ain't seen the movie listeners, Go,
I'm teking, go watch this movie. Man, this is a
great movie, great actorss It ain't nowhere on stream service.
You gotta place for it.
Speaker 2 (53:47):
That movie is That movie is greatness. Yeah, I'm not
surprised that's one of them.
Speaker 5 (53:51):
But it was like peeke leo, damn there. I wouldn't
put it in ra though I'm being it. I put
an eight tre but great movie though. Still the thing
that this movie, the script is a little bit lacking,
but they had to feel like they had the rough
stuff at the end and something.
Speaker 2 (54:04):
The historical stuff was kind of wrong. But other than that,
really good movie. Man, what is a movie about? Give
me a rough draft? Like what's about?
Speaker 5 (54:12):
Okay, Like a fisherman, a snug, a dude who's smuggle stuff,
and a businessman. They start, like, they start going at
it over this diamond, a priceless diamond. So they're trying
to get this diamond, so it's a blood diamond basically.
So it's all about them trying to outsmart each other
and stuff like that.
Speaker 2 (54:29):
It's really good, Like a bitch in Africa, ain't it? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (54:32):
Yeah, like so you know it's one of those like
and this is before niggas is trying to get some
cell phone chips and ship this.
Speaker 1 (54:41):
They just going for them diamonds, nigga, that's what they
started mining for. Fucking what is it called with you?
Speaker 2 (54:48):
Shit? We got a couple of horror movies, or one
of them. I have seen one of my I haven't seen. First.
First got Zodiac Jake Ji Lahall, Robert Downel Junior, Mark Ruffalo.
Speaker 5 (55:00):
This is one of the This is one of the
horror movies that I actually liked because the actors were
so good in this movie.
Speaker 2 (55:04):
They acted, they butt off in this movie. But I
don't know if I put this though.
Speaker 4 (55:09):
It's a it's a strong a movie because I say,
that's a suspense thriller.
Speaker 2 (55:13):
Yeah to me about the Zodiac Killer, I don't remember
that being a horror movie, right, So.
Speaker 4 (55:18):
I said that it's just like a psychological thriller type
ship and next we have the nineteen twenty two Not
So Rock to a Symphony of horror.
Speaker 2 (55:27):
Yeah, see this in my life.
Speaker 4 (55:28):
You can't where you weirdly gotta pity as tier type
shit because it was just off the historical impact of it.
Speaker 2 (55:35):
Yeah, I don't know, so i'ma give that one. You Dre.
You gotta sh that's one of them.
Speaker 4 (55:39):
You gotta kind of add where if you you can't
do horror points in college and not mention that, nigga.
Speaker 2 (55:44):
We also have Harry Potter in the Order of the
Phoenix on here.
Speaker 3 (55:48):
Harry Potter mentioned, why are they picking right.
Speaker 2 (55:53):
Order of the Phoenix?
Speaker 4 (55:53):
Now they got they got no one on her too.
I got askaband on her too. That's the only s
tier one says tier or the Phoenix.
Speaker 3 (56:02):
Which one was that here? Refreshed me when.
Speaker 4 (56:05):
They all had to take the postion to become here
part of the split up.
Speaker 3 (56:09):
No, it's and it's a crime that got little fire
is not on here, be honest.
Speaker 2 (56:13):
And next we have my favorite Terminator movie, Turn the
Terminator to Judgment Day. You said I had thought of
two up, it better be two nigga. Yeah that's tier.
Speaker 5 (56:23):
Linda Hamilton Brod.
Speaker 4 (56:26):
They did their thing, this man Sarah, but she that's
what that's the ultimate. You become the damsel in distress
and then now fuck that.
Speaker 5 (56:36):
No, she was in there here to pull up something
like I remember first seeing that seen she did pull
up some stuff like, oh that's.
Speaker 2 (56:42):
A bad woman right here. Boy, you she ain't going
out like she did in the first movie.
Speaker 1 (56:47):
I remember when we went to go to the movies
see that movie, because you went and saw that by yourself,
and we had went to go see something else. Do
you really wanted to see that ship? Bro Terminator Judgment?
Speaker 2 (56:55):
They are so good? Man, Yeah, w had It's so good.
Speaker 5 (56:59):
And uh huh and Ripley Bro then my two two
of my favorite female protagonists.
Speaker 2 (57:04):
Man, they did it.
Speaker 5 (57:04):
They did a good job in the movies. Man, all right,
nixt we have this is an instant movie. Star Wars
Episode five, The Empire Strike Backs. This is the best
of the originals by far. This movie was had everything
I felt. I remember watching this on VHS. My grandpa
got it. I watched it on VHS. Bro fell in
(57:25):
love with Star Wars.
Speaker 2 (57:26):
I saw this.
Speaker 5 (57:27):
Fun fact, this is my first movie I saw. I
saw this before I saw the original. I saw straight
back without knowing nothing that happened to the first improv
straight back with the first Star Wars movie I ever saw.
My grandpa didn't know the difference, so he just got
straight back first one I ever saw, and it was greatness. Man,
everything about this movie was good, especially when you find
out who Luke was. Said there on my mouth.
Speaker 2 (57:47):
Open, yeah it was it was. It was dang, they're perfect,
you're right. Uh. Another one they got on here is
Black Swan, another Natalie Portment classic.
Speaker 1 (57:56):
That movie is randomly a good movie, is really good.
It don't really want something that I would watch or
like at all, but I sat there one day and
just watched it.
Speaker 2 (58:08):
Was good to me. It's a tire okay.
Speaker 5 (58:11):
See, this is one of those movies where it's probably
are for me eight or two. But if somebody say
I wouldn't break, I wouldn't fight too hard, but is
worth it?
Speaker 2 (58:20):
Uh? Next, I saw this movie one time in my
whole life, but they got it on here. So the
Cabin in the Woods.
Speaker 4 (58:27):
Movie, Uh, that's what could class and B movie. And
Christa Conneley in this too. That is a pure ass
cult classic.
Speaker 2 (58:35):
This movie though.
Speaker 5 (58:36):
Yeah, some of these movies that not make sense to
me because that's not I see, I see why it's there,
but it's like that's a cult classic.
Speaker 2 (58:43):
It ain't s t uh. The Sixth The sixth that
movie had me.
Speaker 5 (58:49):
I had a My movie missed my brain up because
I was a kid when I saw that movie. And
you know, when you're a kid, you don't get patterns
of storyline when you find out.
Speaker 2 (58:57):
Everybody was dead.
Speaker 5 (58:58):
We found out everybody was dead. That's scared, don't That's
scared the crap out of me. I was like, what, Wow,
I'd say s T. But if somebody said a tier,
I would Yeah. That's that's for me to sixth sense.
You may't make the second one.
Speaker 2 (59:15):
I pray the guy they didn't.
Speaker 1 (59:17):
No, I don't remember making a second one. You know
you don't have a dumb ass think scared movie. Let's
let's do a couple of more. Uh, we got the
green male, it's tir Yes, I agree with my hand boy.
When he stepped on mister bow Jangles. That hurt my feelings.
That hurt my feelings bad. As a kid, I cried
(59:38):
because let's see one it was. It's not spiel Birds
is it?
Speaker 2 (59:45):
It ain't going No Frank darrl Bam, nobody, nobody, but yeah, somebody.
I don't know who it is. That's let's see who else?
What he did?
Speaker 1 (59:57):
I feel like I should know that man, you will
sit here untill that trust is he French. May God
have mercy on your soul.
Speaker 2 (01:00:05):
He is French the Walking Dead TV series. He's a
writer on that. He's known for Shawshank, Redemption, Green, Okay,
the miss.
Speaker 4 (01:00:16):
K because I feel because I wanted to say it
was one of It was like a movie like seaw
Shank Redemption or some ship that I know.
Speaker 2 (01:00:23):
It was like one of the old last movies he worked.
Speaker 5 (01:00:25):
On another one that got on her Ester. It's notes
to me. This is a high B low a movie
for me, but one of my favorite movies. One of
my favorite Tom Cruise moves all time. Steven Spielberg directed
The Minority Report. I love this movie, man, This movie
is one of that six B movie. Yes, it's one
of my favorite Tom Cruise movies.
Speaker 2 (01:00:45):
Man, it's yes.
Speaker 4 (01:00:51):
It ain't one of his top Cruise movies. And he
got some Ester movies and uh, let's do one more.
Speaker 2 (01:00:57):
They got Power. That's not movie. Have you seen.
Speaker 5 (01:01:03):
The Origin like the oldest seen forty two Cossa Blanca.
If you have it, go watch I'll give it.
Speaker 4 (01:01:10):

Speaker 3 (01:01:16):
Yes movie you think it still holds up?
Speaker 2 (01:01:19):
Yes? Go watch it.
Speaker 5 (01:01:20):
I watched I just watched it not too long ago.
I watched it a few months ago. It holds us
what it's about. It's about the cafe owner who who
are wanted to trying to decide whether or not to
help the former boyfriend or whatever become a uh and
her and her husband escaped nas trying to escape the Nazis.
They were trying to stay up.
Speaker 4 (01:01:39):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (01:01:39):
He was trying to figure out whether or not to
help them escape the Nazis in Morocco French Morocco. So
it's it's really good man, it's a really good movie.
Speaker 2 (01:01:47):
Man, go watch it. Tony movie holds up. It's one
of them classical movies where it's like, damn, like this
is timeless.
Speaker 3 (01:01:55):
Yeah, my grandma used to have that on on VHS.
I never watched it.
Speaker 2 (01:01:59):
It's like and if you can always watch it and
it still hold up. It's one of them old movies.
It's like the Wizard of Walls. Man, I show up type.
Speaker 5 (01:02:08):
