Speaker 1 (00:00):
Trapp Trapp Real.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Welcome, Welcome, Welcome, Welcome to another excited episode of the
Trap There's podcast.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
I was going, gush, Drew's your week.

Speaker 3 (00:12):
Dude, been kicking it nothing match Uh, Red Their Redemption
finally came on PS plus, So I've been finally running
that and going through an emotional just goddamn struggle because
you know how it end at the end again you're
ready to hurt again, cause you know that was the
funny thing, Like this is literally with Red Dead one.

(00:33):
This is my third time, Like I played it when
it first came out, and then I played it like
that's like I probably say, like two three years before
we started the podcast, because I finally got a PS
three and then you know, now it's on PS plus,
so I'm playing a PS five version and it's nice.
I can say it's holding up pretty good. Like it

(00:55):
made me want to go back place DTA folk because
that was like the two recently brought it on PC
read that two or one.

Speaker 4 (01:05):
It was like five dollars on the steam cell usually
is it?

Speaker 3 (01:09):
I swear to gud I foind hey, let's roll play
and just piss off people and like not anymore.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
Yeah, you missed the cell. How much is that?

Speaker 4 (01:17):
Basically check every time Steam does the sell and red
Dad's on't sell.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
But hey, did y'all check a get Hot Goings Legacy too?
Cause it's free right now? Yeah, I grab it. I'm
trying to get it. Have you did you ever play
Legacy Tony? I sure didn't brouh worth it.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
I ain't even gonna lie like as you know, because
you know how baku God damn Muggle lass type ship.
You know you don't get it, but no Legacy go
hard as fuck Xavier, that's the Muggle.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
I'm readying claw.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
Oh damn about hard then then you Muggle? So why
you didn't get a one when we did the Strange Beasts,
I mean fantastic beat ship.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Who I never asked for one? It was only three.

Speaker 5 (02:05):
Yeah, I didn't care about getting one, but I say
you deserve it more to snacks that ship. Snacks get
into your woman cut.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
I like one on a standpoint of like wizards and ship.
I got this ship on my shelf to this day, Nigga,
I should have gave know that's crazy. That's why that's
why see we get invited to ship.

Speaker 5 (02:28):
Niggas, don't be appreciative, like I cherished that one that
was the.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
One that missed on of me. I did that whole
little survey and ship like I asked, I asked questions.
I probably fought it's somewhere in my closet. But other
than that, I be Sleeping Dogs And that is still
like a very great like that, like that's one of
the PS three games that still hold up to this day.
And did y'all see uh the dude Semah Lou the

(02:54):
dude that was Shane She He's trying to basically he
got a Sleeping Dogs movie.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
It's Greenley. I don't know how.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
I don't know if it's been green light for like
a minute.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
But yeah, it's like I was seeing it. Because that
was another reason I finally went it.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
I stick.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
I ran the Zombie DLC, so now I got to
run the Bruce the Bruce Lee DLC.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
But brut it was.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
A shout out to a fat boy gaming because he
had hopped and check and then I had for the
around slide him stream and then he sleeping up the
was Ona sall for like three dollars.

Speaker 1 (03:25):
I had to do it. I had to do it,
so ran it.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
That's been me this week, so probably the uh it
was another Yeah, then I hopped on Red Dead, so
after I be Red Dead, I'm hop him back on
the far cry Stint.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
So didn't it work? And that's just been chilling. I
feel like I'm breathing out. Let's see.

Speaker 4 (03:49):
I finished Lord of Mysteries this week, and uh, I
don't know, I don't know. I really like the aesthetic,
I like the idea of the power scaling, I like
the character I like, but I think overall it was
and I don't know, because apparently this is like a
really popular Chinese anime and I don't know if it's

(04:12):
the fault of the adaptation or if it's written like this,
but I feel like it's kind of scattered, Like I mean,
it starts off dropping you where you're this dude's Kleine.
He is some resurrected being from another world where because
the dude he's inhabiting killed himself, like shot himself in

(04:33):
the head, and then he wants to become a beyonder,
which is like this world's mages, like they use all
kinds of weird magic and stuff to try to ascend
to like godhood. And I don't know, I really. I
want to say I really enjoyed it, but like there
were times where I felt really lost, and I don't

(04:54):
know if that was intentional for the show, because I
think I want to say, at the moment felt lost,
Klein also felt lost, but I don't know that I
felt lost in the same way. I don't know if
that makes sense.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
I think you don't know what they did.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
They was doing that on purpose or is that part
of the story in that yeah?

Speaker 4 (05:13):
Right? And the power scaling, like I said, it is
really good things. I would say, like near the end,
it doesn't it's not like properly explained because it's not
like he goes really high in his power just in
the first season.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
But I don't know.

Speaker 4 (05:29):
I'm interested to watch more, I think.

Speaker 5 (05:31):
So.

Speaker 4 (05:31):
I think that's a good thing, you know so, And
I didn't drop off of it, So there is that.
And uh that's for gaming. Oh wait, no, I did start.
I started another show too, called Mythic Quest, and it's
basically like it's like it's the office but in a
game development studio or parks and rec like that was like.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
Hulu wants some ship for a long time.

Speaker 4 (05:58):
It's on it's on Apple.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
Yeah, I do remember that because it got the dude
from what.

Speaker 4 (06:05):
Charlie, Yeah, yeah, the dude from Always Sonny in Philadelphia.
And he's hilarious. He's hilarious. He's like this eotistical Todd Howard.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
It's hilarious because I remember, I just remember the one
scene that she he was like his uh secretary. I
don't want to say his secret, but the second in command.

Speaker 3 (06:23):
I want to be a woman and do all thish
and he was like, all right, hit me with the idea.

Speaker 5 (06:27):
Exactly all you, nigga, you are literally right here. All
you have to do is hit me with the goddamn idea.
And you are already in second in command. Nobody can
say ship. And she couldn't think of what. And I
was like, damn, that's hilarious.

Speaker 1 (06:41):
Is Charlie David one with the voice to slick back
Mike's o'laud?

Speaker 4 (06:50):
Not No, it's you're thinking of god? What's his name?

Speaker 1 (06:57):
No more? Won't you? I know? Is Zac?

Speaker 3 (07:01):
I cannot remember his name Tony because you know, Charlie
Day got to sneak back and then is a dude?

Speaker 1 (07:07):
Is he a ginger? No?

Speaker 4 (07:09):
The guy with the voice like this, Yeah, the one
who did Luigi?

Speaker 1 (07:13):
What is his name, Bro, I can remember. His Name's
Charlie Day.

Speaker 4 (07:17):
Wait it's Charlie Day.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
Wait damn wait wait wait you mean we mixing the
white people?

Speaker 4 (07:29):
Oh yeah, Rob Mac Okay, you know Charlie Day is
the creator of the show.

Speaker 3 (07:34):
Okay, okay, Charlie Days, the nigga in the in in
that show.

Speaker 2 (07:42):
One of my favorite comedy actors. He's funny, he's funny
and horrible Bosses he was horrible. It's pretty funny, man.
I've really been enjoying it. I've missed.

Speaker 4 (07:52):
I've missed a show that has like that kind of
day to day humor.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
Have you seen Elementary? No? I want to, though.

Speaker 4 (08:00):
I keep seeing a bunch of clips from it that
are hilarious.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
Watch it.

Speaker 4 (08:04):
My algorithm was like feeding me those for a while.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
The funniest one is forever. Oh you think you dad poo?

Speaker 4 (08:11):
That's what I'm seeing too. You look at the camera.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
The principle is the funniest one on her, Bro, Janelle
j she's hilarious now when to look like I'm you
it's the fucking note.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
The Italian teacher is too, because I let them say
what cuss word? A week the class that just flying
off cuss words hilarious And for gaming, I've just been playing.
They gave me something else to do in our graders.
They gave me another goal, get to five million currency.

Speaker 3 (08:46):
Is that like the community goal shit? Or is that
like some personal sit No?

Speaker 4 (08:51):
So I think I mentioned this before, but they're doing
expeditions and they finally revealed the the details of how
that's going to work. So essentially, if you have five
million in the in game currency or stash value combined,
so you don't need to have one or the other,
then you will get five per million. It's one skill

(09:12):
point that's permanent for next season, So five millions of
the camp. So if you get to five million, you
get five skill points right off rip and they're permanent for.

Speaker 1 (09:23):
The whole How many you got right now?

Speaker 4 (09:25):
I've got three million. I've got until next week to
get another two. That's what like three days for you?

Speaker 1 (09:32):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (09:33):
No, it's I think it's was it the sixth? Oh yeah,
three days? I could do that.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
I'm like, I'll see, I'm learning the tony gamer logic.
See I'm getting it. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (09:42):
Yeah, So I'm hard at work on that. Stealing other
people's games doing what I have to do.

Speaker 1 (09:49):
You grind me as hell right now.

Speaker 4 (09:51):
Ah yeah, it's true. I'm on my I'm on my
extra villain arc. Like I know, I always tell the
stories about you know, PvP, but like generally I will
help people if I have to. I just tell the
pup stories because they're funny. But now it's a different story.
We're on villain arc demon time. Now nobody's safe.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 4 (10:11):
I gotta do it to your nigga. You not friend,
But don't worry. I won't betray anyone. I'll shoot him
out right. And that's my that's my week, Eli, how
was your week?

Speaker 5 (10:22):
Well, just finished the new show on Netflix called Boots
that I watched, Uh sit in the start of the
War on Terror, around the rec.

Speaker 1 (10:32):
War time, living this ship.

Speaker 5 (10:34):
Yeah, start around the time I think it's around two
thousand and three Ovader the Rack or whatever. And it's
about this kid who joined army with his friends, jowing
the Marines with his friends.

Speaker 1 (10:43):
But he gay, so you know what, it was illegal
to be gay. Don't ask, don't tell. Yeah. So it's
a pretty good show. I like the show. It's good.
It's about to struggles with that and.

Speaker 5 (10:55):
Then I started Sparkaka's House of Asher and uh, it's
in the story. Uh you know after Uh, y'all see
spark because as is the one who portrayed the Spark
of the Gladiators and so this this is like an
auter of the universe.

Speaker 1 (11:12):
He goes to the.

Speaker 5 (11:15):
Rim of the Dead and he gets brought back to
life in the auter of the universe where he where
he's the one who's a hero for killing Spartacus and
so now he got his own house gladiators and stuff
like that. It's really good and so so so he's
trying to get into the games. He's trying to get
to the games, but the people looking down on him
here trying to get it to the top part of
the games, and so uh, they he kills their best

(11:36):
warrior because he was talking trash and so he tried
to show he was he was a big dogar.

Speaker 1 (11:41):
So he kills him.

Speaker 5 (11:41):
Actually, he kills him. So he didn't have a warrior.
So they had bought a new warrior for that to
fight these three little people. So the three little people
killed killed his warriors.

Speaker 1 (11:51):
He said, little people. Yeah, So the three warriors killed
killed the little people.

Speaker 5 (11:56):
Uh, the three little people killed his main warrior, his
new champion or whatever.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
So they have to visualize this ship.

Speaker 5 (12:03):
So he has to find a new gimmick to get
him to the Games. And it's a woman gladiator, so
that's his new gimmick. So he tried to change a
woman gladiator to get into the Games so he could
get uh into the higher levels because they trying to
keep him out because because the aristocracy don't like him
very much.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
They don't like him very much at all.

Speaker 5 (12:20):
So and this is the and they mixing some history
and Earth, so this is they mixing the guyas Julius
Caesar coming to power and all that stuff that's all
mixed into this.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
So it's interesting, man. Interesting. My week was great actually
having me.

Speaker 2 (12:36):
I'm opening for Matthew Brownson this weekend, so it's been
really fun weekends so far. Also, Uh, my newest Christmas
movie I watched this week, one of my favorite black
Christmas movies. It's one of them movies we don't get nowadays.

Speaker 1 (12:50):
Uh, christ No, how dare you? How dare you? You know?

Speaker 2 (12:56):
I wanted to go see that movie and when I
was a kid, and it's scared to shout out because
like three people start speaking tongue in theaters like, oht know,
movie Passion of the Christ just even more wild.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
I was not ready for that one.

Speaker 4 (13:12):
I always joking you, I didn't go see that movie
but on VHS.

Speaker 2 (13:19):
Yeah I saw the boot leg too, but yeah, this
Christmas it has the Red Duvin has Chris Brown co
fight for Lauren Lund did one of those movies all
like a Regina Key, one of those movies with the
star study black audience.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
They haven't done all start all staring black lineup. Yeah.
Yeah for a happy movie. Yeah, for a happy movie.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
You know what movie where it's kind of like so
ful with the family is happy at the beginning, then.

Speaker 1 (13:50):
Some ship happened, ship she lose a leg.

Speaker 6 (13:56):
And then.

Speaker 1 (13:58):
Didn't. Then by the everything back to doing Everybody's back
friends again. This is one of my favorite season. I
was like, hey, Tony, I know you ain't seen so
we just gonna watch so because I need like another
just like so Food.

Speaker 3 (14:14):
Is a wild movie when you think about it, that movie.

Speaker 1 (14:22):
Like not even on some black ship, like a lot
of ship.

Speaker 5 (14:25):
That was like Tyler Fair. Before Tyler Fair, that was
just me saying about the movie. Now they be saying
like old girl deserve to get cheated on because she's
the big building her husband. But then again they be
talking about how dude had that posting up clarity of
banging old girl.

Speaker 1 (14:38):
It was so much going on in that movie. Son.

Speaker 3 (14:42):
It was the story lines in that movie where it
were wild. That's why I always say, like baby Boy,
event wasn't ship and she's slightly a pedophile.

Speaker 4 (14:53):
Yeah, I didn't watch it. This is when my grandma
was still a little racist.

Speaker 3 (14:59):
See these type ship see when that's what we get it.
See that. That's why I asked these questions. And I
know if you're watching you and getting mad and living
like oh nah, oh.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
Yeah, yeah, it's one of those type movies. But no,
it's uh this Christmas Now, it's a really good movie.
Like I said, Chris Brown, all a minute. Lored DeVaan
plays a grandma. Basically everybody's coming in town to come
over her house and enjoy Christmas, and you know, as
a family, as they go through it, things start happening
where like with Gina King and her husband altogether, they

(15:34):
find out she's cheating one of my favorite it's not
she's cheating, he's cheating on her. One of my favorite
scenes in the movie is where she put baby on
the floor and her husband getting out of the shower
and she start whooping on the belt, but then it
gets unnecessary because she ends up driving his car off
the cliff.

Speaker 1 (15:50):
I'm like, girl, why are you just selling? Why you
do that? You see, like, what is an escalation? Ain't
what escalation? Now? Nigga? We taking it? That nigga off top.

Speaker 2 (16:01):
It's like one of them you go girl moments. But
I'm like, why would you do that?

Speaker 1 (16:06):
You whooped them with a bet you right there? Yeah,
one because.

Speaker 2 (16:12):
She put baby on the floor and he could get
up off the floor like she's beating the mess out
of him.

Speaker 3 (16:16):
That was your strong I'm taking control of me moment.
And then you're gonna do that ship and it's.

Speaker 1 (16:21):
Like, oh whoa, Yeah, it's a It's a good movie.

Speaker 2 (16:27):
A lot of there's a lot of different storylines in
this movie, not as crazy as Soulful, but like seeming
like there's a lot of different people, Like Lauren London
had her boyfriend there, like she get this dow name,
but he's in a lot of movies and he kind
of always plays the same character a little bit.

Speaker 1 (16:41):
All the people soulful with bad people people. Of course
she was a big moment. She was a terrible person.

Speaker 3 (16:52):
Like it's a great story, but the stereotypes hit really
hard right there, type ship and times. Are you trying
to relate to us? Are you trying? Are you just
like I'm offended a little bit?

Speaker 1 (17:07):
But uh yeah, And I see I don't know.

Speaker 2 (17:10):
I started to watch I think it's like fourth ye
in the row that I watched Holiday Heart on the
during the Christmas season.

Speaker 3 (17:15):
I see Holiday Heart in a good minute, classic David Raimes.

Speaker 1 (17:20):
Right, it's just really good.

Speaker 2 (17:22):
Okay, he is gainable, but it also needs to be
highlighted how good his acting is in this movie too,
because he acted his ass off of this movie.

Speaker 3 (17:29):
I'm not gonna lie when people talking about trans people
and ship, I automatically envision Holiday Art when like that's
my go to I'm not gonna lie they want to
act like they act like Holiday Heart.

Speaker 1 (17:49):
He was drag queen. You know what, somebody gonna get
mad at me for this fuck out that type shit.
Just act. It's one of them.

Speaker 3 (17:57):
You didn't know if he was trans, You didn't know
if he was getting You didn't know. He didn't do
the cross dress and ship but still postop a preach.
Nobody was definitely man, you know what I mean? And
that was like Brennada for the wildness, Holiday Hard you know.

Speaker 1 (18:14):
I know.

Speaker 3 (18:14):
The moment that sucked me up is when Holiday went
to go get old girl of the daughter and they
was in the crank house and she yeah, mama was
finished sell her daughter off and how the hurricane got
her ass and how they hurricane got her ass and
and then the other.

Speaker 1 (18:28):
Nigga started whooping her ass. I was like, man, this
is realist all I don't out now.

Speaker 3 (18:35):
And when he walked in when she was trying to
get some dick in his house, and he just dawn
this slung that nigga to the wild and slapped the
ship out of her ass.

Speaker 2 (18:45):
From the whole hilltops Apollo johns Apolo.

Speaker 1 (18:51):
Ain Bro he did.

Speaker 5 (18:54):
Yeah, Bro, Let'm telling you that that was like, She's
one up favorite actress is old girl to play the
mama because she she.

Speaker 1 (19:02):
Like the old black lady in a lot of movies.
Yeah down in Adulta that was another good movie.

Speaker 5 (19:09):
She was like you know in the early late like
the nineties, when it was like that, I'm like if
you weren't like classic super A list.

Speaker 1 (19:17):
You isn't damn near every B list movie. Yeah, like
she was one of them. I still great.

Speaker 5 (19:24):
I got the bike holiday, I got the but she
who answers Bro, nigga, she whoop.

Speaker 1 (19:33):
Behinds Bro, I would have show the way had away.

Speaker 5 (19:41):
An let me like, I gotta add this bitch shot.

Speaker 1 (19:47):
I'm sorry, whoop the crackhead getting shot? Bro? I ain't
playing bro, but nah nigga?

Speaker 3 (19:52):
Hey, then how did they hear stream your ass up
on the white well talking about that ship?

Speaker 1 (19:59):
Did you beat up so bad about drag queen you
had to shoot it? Shut up? Bro?

Speaker 6 (20:04):
Bro?

Speaker 1 (20:06):
That's wild?

Speaker 3 (20:06):
Hey, hey, shots of being Range because that was the
wildest like just like left turn I've ever seen in
movies like Bean Range that nigga. Niggas know him from Baby,
What's the land Ship movie? And Ship when he gets
Joe that the froehead.

Speaker 5 (20:20):
But like damn Jody that nigga got that was Range.

Speaker 1 (20:26):
Nigga kissed it. That's wild. If I'm bald and the
nigga kiss the top of my head and you gotta die,
I'm sorry.

Speaker 5 (20:32):
I can't go out like that. You can't tell nobody
about that. Well, we got that's all I have for
my week. That's all I did. That did some more stuff.

Speaker 1 (20:41):
That's all I did.

Speaker 2 (20:42):
But we gotta go, brains. We're gonna go to a
quick break. But when we come back. Some movie trails
released after this and we are back. So recently, twenty
twenty six is gonna be a big year also for
movies and TV shows, And recently we had some trailer

(21:03):
releases of twenty twenty six movies.

Speaker 1 (21:05):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (21:06):
Those in particular we recently watched was Supergirl, Avatar, Whale Fire,
and Street Fighter. Uh So we're gonna and break these down,
break down these trailers. Why are you saying Avatar whale
Fire that's what it was called? Because y'all just told
me to watch the Last.

Speaker 3 (21:22):
Air We're talking about the Last Airbender. All right, So
now that so, did y'all crank me? Y'all think am
I joke to y'all?

Speaker 5 (21:30):
I thought it was onebody brought up Avatar whale fire
at all.

Speaker 1 (21:34):
That's why I wanted that.

Speaker 3 (21:35):
Yeah, that's what That's why I was saying, Right, that's
why I've never seen the Blue People Avatar movies.

Speaker 1 (21:40):
Everybody keeps saying, do it I'm gonna do this v okay,
but my bad, all right?

Speaker 2 (21:44):
My Avatar The Last Airbender is released on Netflix season two.
Uh yeah, the trailer recent release, so I didn't watch it,
so somebody else break, we go watch it?

Speaker 3 (21:56):
Wait, so how the funk? I just sat here and
watched all three trailers.

Speaker 1 (22:00):
He watched the wrong one.

Speaker 4 (22:01):
He thought we were talking about Avatar, the Blue People Avatar.

Speaker 3 (22:05):
My head hurts so goddamn. But hey, I love and
see y'all be thinking this. This is some real ship.
Y'all be thinking we just like be on ship. No, No,
we gotta go through this. This is the type of
ship we got.

Speaker 1 (22:19):
I did wrong. I did one hundred specific.

Speaker 5 (22:22):
Drey even asked, and I told him, no, Avatar last
That's why.

Speaker 3 (22:26):
That's why I said I never watched the Avatar movies.
And you was like, no, we're talking about the Last
Airben And I was like, Turner, let's go.

Speaker 2 (22:33):
When I mute at you'all, when I muted this, when
I muted at Riverside, Dre wasn't in the chat yet,
so that was before the n Yeah. Anyways, Uh, Supergirl
trailer also released. This one, of course, is holly anticipated.
Another incarnation in James Gunn's universe. This the one where

(22:56):
you made the giddy sound. Yeah, when you're watching Supergirl.
That's what I came into. And I was like, yeah
because she because okay, because the reason why is we
always only mostly seen the Supergirl that was on Earth.
It looks like James gun is taking another spin on it,
and we're going to see Supergirl before she came to Earth,
when she was like an outlaw doing crazy stuff on

(23:19):
different planets. It's space, you know. And she's also the
same before she came. This is why she's the Earth
on Earth. But yeah, she's on Earth.

Speaker 5 (23:26):
She just leaves and go as a party and turn
up University Earth drugs or ass. She's still She's still,
She's still she knows, she knows what's on Earth. She
already knows Superman and all this stuff. This is this
is an inuation of that. Okay, Yeah, but still, you know,
it's still the time away from Earth.

Speaker 1 (23:44):
That's still. That's why I still like I like it
about I guess I was wronging the part.

Speaker 2 (23:47):
But also in the trailer, it was featured a look
at one of the most highly anticipated characters. Like for years,
people been wanting is it Lobo? Yes, yeah, I was
gonna say Jason Momo. But Jason Momo is playing Lobo
in this movie.

Speaker 1 (24:05):
They said. I saw some kind of a synopsis for it.

Speaker 2 (24:08):
They said it'supposed to be she's supposed to be on
the run, and it's Lobo is a bounty hunter. I
feel like he's gonna be either like looking for her.
But I wonder who she's on the run with, Like who,
like somebody gonna like special they gonna put it in
a movie?

Speaker 4 (24:21):
Who is the who is the person in the trailer?
Anyone named or not?

Speaker 1 (24:24):
Really? I couldn't really tell. I couldn't tell who is who.

Speaker 3 (24:28):
I ain't gonna yeah nobody here that you know how
niggas do that name drop like oh yeah, doctor this
and this.

Speaker 1 (24:36):
It's like, oh, we don't really get that in there. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (24:40):
The only person I know for sure is Lobo and
Ruthie probably I think they look at from it. I
think it's probably her. I've read that, but I don't.

Speaker 3 (24:52):
Maybe that's what's I guess. It's a good accurate guess.
It's a good accurate guess, but I don't care. Trench
Colt got damn Supergirls my nigga.

Speaker 5 (25:01):
If they're doing the comebook thing, then they have to
have cream in her too. They have to have That's
all the thing that makes sense.

Speaker 1 (25:07):
Man. So I feel like he'll pop up halfway in. Yeah,
they gotta have me because it don't work like that.
But I'm fucking with it.

Speaker 3 (25:15):
I want to see how you go, like because trench
Coat Supergirl had some adventures on her, like, she had
a few adventures that was her.

Speaker 1 (25:23):
I'm just a girl phase.

Speaker 4 (25:26):
I can't why why I feel like Twitter is just
all bought these days because I feel like I when
this came up, when this trailer came up, Everyone's like,
DC Bros. Did we get excited too early?

Speaker 1 (25:38):
Like Twitter? Bro, you fall.

Speaker 4 (25:44):
If it hits me on the wrong day, Bro, I'll
fall for rage bait. I ain't gonna lie. I got
to close this out because I can't. I don't reply though,
So there's that, But you know it's like, oh, yes, better,
you know.

Speaker 1 (25:57):
What else we forgot? They didn't a little quick please
of the lanterns too.

Speaker 5 (26:00):
I did peoples on Twitter rage baby about that too.

Speaker 1 (26:04):
I'm with you.

Speaker 5 (26:04):
I got rage baby to the rage baby about that.
I read a couple of parts like they were like
Greenland supposed to be white.

Speaker 7 (26:10):
I'm like, I'm done. I'm with It's the multiple. You
don't I hate people, that's the bike.

Speaker 1 (26:22):
I don't.

Speaker 5 (26:23):
They just tarted. They just try to stoke the flames
and have people fight with each other.

Speaker 2 (26:27):
Because if you're a comic book fair, you can't be
that stupid and say like you should be what you know,
green is multiple Greenlanders, like you're talking about that?

Speaker 1 (26:36):
Just so how cultured people really be in I was I.

Speaker 5 (26:40):
Was triggered, man, I was triggered. Look and it looked
like she could she powered down to some part in
this movie. So because it's like she's on somewhere with
her red Son or something, because you know that was
kind of her ship. She kind of feel into like
an alcoholic extint. And then she has to go to
places power where she powered down and that and that's
why she be going.

Speaker 3 (26:57):
That's why she go to other places type ship actually
like be like okay, I'm over here and there's no
red sense, so I'm kind of like out, but I'm
still op as, I'm still strong.

Speaker 1 (27:08):
But she's still strong.

Speaker 5 (27:09):
She's just not as strong as she will be on
like Invincible on some ship. But she do this for
the love of the game, nigga, Like.

Speaker 1 (27:17):
It's gonna be a lot of a lot of trauma
in her too. You know. She actually she was actually
she actually remember Krypton. She saw Crypto and blow up.

Speaker 5 (27:25):
Depend on what coming on the one because some of
them she was a child, some of them she's a
teenager when Krypton gets destroyed. So we'll see which way
they go on this one. I'm thinking they probably gonna
go teenager on this one.

Speaker 2 (27:38):
But yeah, because she because she said Krypton wasn't destroyed
in the day in one day when she was a child.

Speaker 1 (27:43):
It was well she was a teenager. It was a process.

Speaker 5 (27:46):
Yeah, because I remember that time like where it was
like she saw it was like she.

Speaker 1 (27:50):
Just mean, she just meant it didn't explode one day.
It took time for together. Yeah, it was like she
saw like the down fall type ship on some ship
that Gon'll be good. I don't appreciate that the silence,
but I was just sorry, I'm just I'm shock.

Speaker 3 (28:05):
But yeah, because I remember that one, that one when
she was a teenager, like this shit like her. It
all ended culminating with Huggins sent out the planet with.

Speaker 1 (28:14):
Superman, like she saw space. Yeah, she saw like, oh shit,
shit is sucking up on the planet.

Speaker 3 (28:21):
But then when it got really bad in the planet,
Fina goes just ass up. That's what she got sent off.
And that was like a good week and a half.
It was just bad events. So she seemed like she's
twenty three in this. No, Clark already in his thirties
on Earth right now.

Speaker 1 (28:36):
Thirty.

Speaker 3 (28:37):
Yeah the age and ship because he on Earth made
him age faster.

Speaker 1 (28:41):
Not just because she was stuck in space and she didn't. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (28:45):
Yeah, Clark was on Earth, so he aged a little
bit dead, so she she was just in space. So
she stayed like goddamn seventeen for like good damn ten years.
But yeah, they looking I fucking Supergirl there, like I
because he know how it's like we got Supergirl. Then
everybody mistake of a power girl, you know, the one
with the tit is up. Yeah, but Supergirl, my nigga,

(29:07):
I appreciate it, like I want I want to see.
I like to I want to see if it go further,
like she earned it. She's a deserved character.

Speaker 1 (29:15):
I hope we get Powered Girl, though I like Power Girl.

Speaker 2 (29:18):
She she her Supergirl threw some hands, Brok threw some
definite hands with each other.

Speaker 3 (29:23):
We gotta get like a super unnecessarily buff bitch with
big titties to be Supergirl though like not being misogynistic
to be Power Girl.

Speaker 2 (29:32):
Nigga, Oh girl would be perfect, but she got counseled. Uh,
she played the Star Wars the Star Wars stuff. Oh,
she's about to get her own show and everything, but
it got counseled because she said, oh the wrestler.

Speaker 3 (29:45):
Oh, the girl from the girl from the Mandalorian.

Speaker 1 (29:49):
Oh, yes, ce, I think it's Kats and going on.

Speaker 3 (29:52):
Yeah, she was in the Mandalorian, the buff girl that
was fighting the Mandalori, and that she's probably been perfect
and she hadn't got She did get super canceled, but
we and Trump and their American Now boy.

Speaker 1 (30:04):
She can make her comeback. She can come back.

Speaker 5 (30:07):
Because she sued Disney for this ship and one really yeah,
it's interesting like when she made the like super like
them tweets and they fired her for this ship.

Speaker 1 (30:17):
She sued for this ship. She careing the fuck out
and well.

Speaker 2 (30:21):
Moving on, we have the next trailer, which was Street Fighter. Well,
it was a really full trailer. It was a teaser
which was freaking badass. That that that that one broke
me in. I can't wait to see that.

Speaker 4 (30:37):
They're leaning full in campy over the I was about.
And I am all for it, dude, I am there.
I don't care what anyone says. It did not need
to be a serious movie and it's not going to be,
and so for that.

Speaker 3 (30:52):
And I did not want it to be at all,
And that's why I appreciate it, because it was like
this ship was it was a nice little okay I
see because you know, everybody's look like y'all.

Speaker 1 (31:02):
Got rooman reins as a kooma. But then you.

Speaker 4 (31:05):
Starting in the trailer, think they show like a glimpse glit.

Speaker 3 (31:09):
Yeah, but then it's like you saw Cody Rose this
gull and ship.

Speaker 5 (31:14):
I'm like, okay, I see what we're doing. I see
now he's a Paul No he what's the nigga with
the pink damn he?

Speaker 1 (31:27):
Yeah, he's dying.

Speaker 4 (31:28):
Yeah damn he Becky like he said.

Speaker 3 (31:30):
Oh my man, I never knew the last name. Who
the fuck plays Dan? Exactly?

Speaker 1 (31:36):
Say ship? But I appreciate y'all got a comedy nigga
playing a joke character. Yeah, because it's perfect. It works,
it makes sense.

Speaker 4 (31:45):
But I thought the review at the at the game
words is hilarious because they all came out. He's like, see,
we all care about you. All the actors are there
just like we now, just to show you how much
you know, these game adaptations care about you. We we
have the stars of Mortal Kombat to come out. And
then nobody showed up and he's like, yeah, I'm just kidding.

Speaker 1 (32:08):
They don't care about you. They don't care about the money. Money.
We care about you and the money. That's why we're here.

Speaker 3 (32:17):
It's hilarious and that's why I appreciated that.

Speaker 1 (32:21):
That was funny.

Speaker 5 (32:23):
It's gonna be it looks like have good action. Yeah,
he had three old dude, it's his name Kick.

Speaker 3 (32:32):
It's like they gotta It's like with street You know
how Mortal Comeback you got. It's like with Mortal Comeby,
you gotta leaning to the gore of it the street Fighter.
If you just lean into the campy ignorance of Street Fighter,
you won, especially like y'all know how it's talking about
street Fighter six highs just like you in a city
like the way street Fighters set up. Now it's perfect

(32:54):
to win, you just gotta not fuck it up, and
I'm fucking with it.

Speaker 4 (32:57):
I think I don't really have a problem with any
of the people except for Ken. I don't think he
fits his Ken I figure out. I'll put it in
Discord so you can see who I don't. I don't
think that's good Ken, like am I am I wrong?

Speaker 1 (33:14):
He love old? Look? Oh look, damn, Discord. I can
see why you were saying that. Yeah, yeah, I don't
see it. They didn't even see it. I don't. Yeah,
I don't know. This is this is me. But that's all.

Speaker 4 (33:26):
I think that's the only little nitpick for casting.

Speaker 3 (33:29):
Everything might be this might be the German in me
a little bit, but nah, Ken is a blonde hair
and blue eyed man from America. Yeah that no kung
fu and I don't see it with him. They went
for their superstylized.

Speaker 4 (33:44):
Well how how how well do you think fifty cents
going to do in his action scenes?

Speaker 3 (33:49):
Bruh, I've been ship bro We was talking about this
ship shout out to like the Shreeport Nigga PlayStation group
check but Bruh, we was talking about this ship the
other day and it was like, I mean, fifty cent
done did action movie. So I feel if he done
took Good, he got the money for good another Boxers

(34:10):
type shit. You know what I mean to just you know,
show him how it look good. And if you just
do that with ball Rog, I mean it's doable. I
mean he if he was a real nigga, he would
have just like hired Mike Tyson because everybody know that's
who ball Rock is based off of.

Speaker 1 (34:27):
Ball Rock is Mike Tyson. Shit. So I don't know,
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (34:32):
I think Mike Tyson might throw too many real punches.

Speaker 3 (34:35):
That was the point that was Ballrock. That's why he
said I need to chill. Then he fuck around ran
in the d and was like, you know what, that
nigga hit hard earth.

Speaker 1 (34:46):
I'm gonna just show him how do shit.

Speaker 4 (34:47):
Fifty cent hasn't done a movie since twenty thirteen.

Speaker 5 (34:50):
Right, No, No, when Dan the Thieves came up.

Speaker 1 (34:55):
Yeah, he did Thieves like the last year. Yeah, that
was like a wow. I think he was.

Speaker 4 (35:01):
They gotta like like do his name not fitting. That's
probably is he's been in TV because he's been on
the shows. I was wanting to see something action.

Speaker 3 (35:13):
Yeah, he really did, like no like super like he
got a scene where he's just doing like some just
super action and ship.

Speaker 1 (35:20):
But he been in shit. He didn't got the studio
and Street Report. I thought they did something of the
filming the Street Report. Nah, he didn't bought.

Speaker 3 (35:28):
He abought the one of the studios Shitska.

Speaker 1 (35:34):
Yeah, like that's here. It was like all like he
doing the Tyler Perry thing.

Speaker 2 (35:40):
Street Fighter comes out October twenty twenty six. Supergirl June
twenty twenty six. Up next, we have the highly anticipated
second season of Should We Go to a Breakfirst? No, okay,
we got to anticipated second season of Averatar The Last Airbender.
This season featuring one of my favorite freaking characters, Tugh's

(36:02):
gonna be in this one. It's gonna be concluding the
Avatar story from a cartoon with the live action.

Speaker 1 (36:08):
Dude did get older. I didn't know he had got
that tall. He got he got a lot.

Speaker 4 (36:12):
Yeah, that's what I was telling he, like, you know
they have to film fast already looking thirty puberty hits.

Speaker 1 (36:21):
He is. He's gonna be young. He's just tall, like
super tall.

Speaker 4 (36:25):
He's gonna start growing facial hair. By season four, the.

Speaker 5 (36:28):
Men and he eat a beard. They gotta do a
time jump and just make him old manang, So what
are your thoughts on the trailer? What do y'all anticipate?
What y'all can't wait to see for the season.

Speaker 4 (36:37):
Oh, let's see, this is the Earth Kingdom?

Speaker 1 (36:40):
Right? All right?

Speaker 6 (36:41):
Boss, say there's no there's no corruption in BOSSI said
there's no war in basing said nine to eleven did
not happen in boxing. Say, nigga, we don't know what
you're talking about.

Speaker 4 (36:54):
I'm interested to see tough because to coolest hell rerigal
metal bender right there, that happens in season two, right, Yeah,
she breaks out of the kitchen.

Speaker 3 (37:05):
Yeah, and she didn't even know she was metal bending.
She was like, hey, I found I found all the
rocks in this goddamn metal. I'm finna do it.

Speaker 1 (37:15):
I think I can do it.

Speaker 5 (37:16):
She pulled it open, ripped it open, like, oh, the
greatest Earth been here alive? Yes you are, y'all, then
fucked up a a run and she can't see ship.
It's not a cool she just felt it in her soul,
like I'm that nigga, that's one of.

Speaker 1 (37:32):
The cool things.

Speaker 2 (37:33):
I thought the legend of Chor revealed about her because
like she can like feel people through the earth. That's
how events her bending is, like she can feels people
emotions and ship through the earth.

Speaker 3 (37:44):
Well when she did the she fits top is the
true definition if I'm feeling the vibes.

Speaker 1 (37:53):
Because she's living feeling the vibe. I wonder if they're
gonna make her a Qatar archificies like it did. The
show they did have a little they did have a
spect until they got cool.

Speaker 2 (38:05):
Uh guitar used to be going there, like this girl
blind you making fun of her being blinde.

Speaker 1 (38:10):
That's some terrible ship.

Speaker 4 (38:11):
They did pretty I think they they'd pretty good on
the first season of sticking to like a lot of
the plot points like that. Yeah, but it has been
a while. When did the first season come out?

Speaker 1 (38:21):
I was like two years? Yeah, two years. Film industry
getting lazy, bro, that's one thing that is getting on.
They're getting lazy.

Speaker 2 (38:29):
It shouldn't take two years to make a TV show
and you're only making eight episodes, whereas back in the
day you used to get fucking twenty thirty episodes in
one year.

Speaker 1 (38:38):
How like, how did where's the change? Co Broduction.

Speaker 5 (38:42):
Probably like other CGI niggast get better, bro they need it.

Speaker 4 (38:48):
Still takes so it still takes a long time to
do CGI, though.

Speaker 2 (38:52):
Figure it out. I'm on my hot horse looking down
figure it out. But yeah, yeah, you know with your thoughts.

Speaker 5 (39:00):
I'm interested, I'm ready. I just I hope they do
some a couple of new storylines. I just don't want
to see one hundred percent remake of a cartoon because
I just go watch the cartoon.

Speaker 1 (39:11):
I've just been ho this. I just know it.

Speaker 5 (39:13):
Just make some new stuff happen, a little bit of
new stuff. Cartoon Season two was kind of slow at
the beginning. The Earth story was kind of slow at
the beginning, but it picked up.

Speaker 3 (39:21):
But it's just like Netflix, so it's like they usually
do like a ten run, like ten episode run.

Speaker 1 (39:27):
Yeah, ten episodes one of them.

Speaker 5 (39:29):
Yeah, Netflix do like that ten ten runs. So I'm
just I'm disappointed. I'm tired of waiting two years for
everything to come out.

Speaker 1 (39:37):
You ain't lying year now, line. Our life is not
that long, man.

Speaker 5 (39:44):
We ain't gonna get to finish in the series by
the time by the time I turned sixty, everything's gonna
be still a.

Speaker 1 (39:49):
On if we get if we get all the scroll
six and we still record and we're still doing this podcast,
I'm okay with myself. I can di But Ship, it's like,
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (40:03):
It's like because they kind of did all like the
super like main points and now it's like, you know how,
it's the second season. They gotta just do like the
explanations and ship like this is the character development stage.
So I want to see how they're gonna actually just
go in depth with all the characters after because.

Speaker 1 (40:21):
They didn't went through a goddamn crisis.

Speaker 2 (40:24):
More in depth maybe sure, a more in depth look
at how bo Sen say you got overrun? Didn't they
get overrun? Like releasting next year on Netflix? Well, we
gotta go to a quick break. But when we come
back the dojo after this, and we were back, so Jerry,

(40:46):
what you got ship grand Master Tony, but you got
do Joe Master. The Game Awards finally finally happened. We
got it happened exactly. You know what we called Clear
Obscure Expedition thirty three. It swellt won the whole show.

Speaker 1 (41:02):
We did it.

Speaker 4 (41:03):
They won nine out of thirteen nominations.

Speaker 1 (41:07):
I won a hundred dollars what I bet who bet
against you? A few people. I made three hundred dollars
last week because I was like, hey, Clara scurious sweeping
at the game was and it was like, no, it
ain't cool, and I'm like, bitch, have you ever had
a croissant?

Speaker 6 (41:23):
You know?

Speaker 1 (41:26):
I need this money. Fuck it, let's go. Because I
bet I bet they was gonna win five. They won nine.

Speaker 4 (41:32):
Nie I literally just had this open. Oh my god,
all right, so we'll knock We'll knock that one out first.
I'm dead because we're gonna say all the ones that
they won, right, so they, like I said, they won
nine of the thirteen. They won Best Independent Game, Best

(41:53):
Debut Indie Game, fuck five, Best Art Direction, fuck five,
Best Score music definitely deserved, Best Narratives, deserve Best Game Direction,
Best Performance, which was It's kind of funny there were
three of the five nominations were from clairebs Gear. Charlie

(42:15):
Cox wasn't there there he U, but she, Jennifer English
won she played ma l and then they also won
obviously the big one game of the year.

Speaker 1 (42:27):
To no one's surprised as what I say, like at
at you know, nah, y'all.

Speaker 3 (42:32):
Yeah, you gotta you gotta acknowledge the other countries when
they come out with she because after the black Myth,
we'll call disaster.

Speaker 1 (42:39):
Y'all. Hads you you gotta na be honest with your sweeps.

Speaker 4 (42:44):
Did you know I just learned this. Did you know
that Genschin impact uh has end game rewards for voting
for them and the player's choice?

Speaker 1 (42:53):
Did they? Yeah? This would?

Speaker 4 (42:55):
I mean, I don't play the game, so I I
mean it can't. I can't confirm this with her, but
I've seen on the Twitter sphere.

Speaker 1 (43:03):
Rather the classic gotcha game logic.

Speaker 4 (43:06):
That they have rewards if you go and vote for
them in the player's choice, and that is why Genshin won.

Speaker 1 (43:12):
I wouldn't be surprised. Wouldn't not be surprised because oh
she wouldn't rays? Did win? You now that you say that?

Speaker 4 (43:21):
Oh wait, wuthering waves, that's what I meant to say,
My bad? Yeah, yeah, the same thing, same same thing.
How the mobile gamers jumping me?

Speaker 1 (43:29):
All the same people?

Speaker 4 (43:33):
It's they're all the same.

Speaker 1 (43:35):
My god.

Speaker 4 (43:37):
Our graders won Best Multiplayer and a big deserved there.

Speaker 1 (43:42):
They aren't.

Speaker 4 (43:43):
The best ongoing game went to No Man's Sky, which
is like that one. That one was a wild card,
but I was like, I do respect it. Best Audio
Design went to Battlefield six. I'd agree. Best Action Game
went to Hades two.

Speaker 1 (43:59):
I think they did. They paid for that. I'm not
gonna lie.

Speaker 4 (44:02):
I don't think hay Twos should have beat up uh
Ninja Garden four because I think Ninja Garden four.

Speaker 1 (44:11):
It's just like one of them, like, hey, they soon
needed one just to say they did it.

Speaker 4 (44:15):
They did, fun funniest thing. Best Action Adventure Game was
won by Hollow Night, and Team Cherry was so convinced
they weren't gonna win anything that they didn't show up
to the Game Awards because just for reference in that category,
death Stranding to Ghost of Yota, Indiana Jones and Split Fiction.

(44:37):
I'm not gonna lie. I didn't think Hollow Night was
already They.

Speaker 1 (44:40):
Called it a day with that one, like we already
know we now win that one.

Speaker 4 (44:44):
Yeah, so they didn't show up to collect their award.

Speaker 1 (44:46):
Oh that was so awkward. Now we were just doing
this for us and y'all just came out with heavy hears.

Speaker 4 (44:54):
Best Family Game, Donkey Kong Bananza. They beat the Is
that a family I mean, I can't. I don't know,
I said, I said the last time when you did,
is they pay for them? I just feel like when
you think of a family game, it's supposed to be
a game you play with your family, so then it's
supposed to be a multiplayer Am my tripping?

Speaker 1 (45:14):
Am I Am? I wrong? There?

Speaker 3 (45:15):
Nah?

Speaker 1 (45:16):
Yeah you are. I'm not gonna lie.

Speaker 3 (45:18):
Like when I think like a family, guys, like it's
like a family games at party games are kind of
the same.

Speaker 1 (45:24):
You know what.

Speaker 4 (45:25):
That's probably I'm confusing those two party games, Like, yeah, a.

Speaker 5 (45:29):
Good Mario Party, that's a good family game, but that's
if we all drunk as him and we got enough
control as fuckings Mario Party.

Speaker 1 (45:38):
You know what I'm saying. It's like one of the
different type of games. My thing is, why was Split
Fiction under best Family Game? Don't? I don't, right, I don't.
It's a weird one. Best Fighting Game went to Fatal Fury.
I did see that, and I was like, that is
the only one came out this year that was worth it?
Because I don't know two xk oh it's on this list,

(46:01):
it's still it's exactly because it's still in like this beta,
it's not out.

Speaker 4 (46:06):
Yeah, I thought we don't put early access games on
the game awards that you see what I mean. That's
why Hades Too wasn't there last year or the year
before whenever, whenever, that exactly.

Speaker 1 (46:17):
And that's like this it is weird, Like I don't
like how they do. It's awkward how.

Speaker 4 (46:22):
They do they because nothing else came out, was there?
No like fifth game and they're like, well, we need
something to put on there also low key that too,
No way, I.

Speaker 1 (46:31):
Mean there's no way and much the only like main
line was Fatal Fury and the new one Yo.

Speaker 4 (46:39):
They actually see is starving for games. They have kept
Fighting Collection too on here that's just a remake, a.

Speaker 3 (46:46):
Remaster of all the old game because you know Toka
used to invitation only.

Speaker 1 (46:51):
Yeah, I think next year.

Speaker 4 (46:52):
Next year is gonna be good for FGC because there's Token,
there's the Invincible game, there's Avatar.

Speaker 1 (46:59):
Uh what is that it? That's it?

Speaker 4 (47:01):
Okay, never mind, Mister is good for a year and two.

Speaker 1 (47:05):
S KO might finally go like gold type Ship and
be a full game.

Speaker 4 (47:10):
Man I I've just heard a bunch of they're losing
steam quick if they've not already lost it.

Speaker 1 (47:16):
Because it's like they haven't balanced yet. It's like, okay,
I get it. But that's why when I was telling you,
is the Werewolf Nigga in the summer, I nigga. They
dined to get nerved bad.

Speaker 4 (47:27):
Well, it is an early access so speaking well, not
speaking of but reference to mobile gamers. That's mobile game
was won by Uma Musume pretty Derby, which I think
is those hurt horse girls that the race the racing girl.

Speaker 3 (47:44):
But yes, that that's exactly one. And I was like,
you know what, that's the only game I've heard of
mobile wise, they ironed it.

Speaker 4 (47:52):
Oh I missed in a word for clare obscure. Best RPG.

Speaker 1 (47:57):
I knew that one. I knew that one. That's a given.

Speaker 4 (48:00):
Best Sports Racing Game went to Mario Kart World, to
the surprise of literally nobody.

Speaker 1 (48:05):
I still gotta rent it, I said, I get a
Swiss too. It's just say pay food.

Speaker 4 (48:10):
Oh wait, hold on, this was paid one hundred percent.
Rematch was on here that should have won. Ain't no
way that beat Mario Kart Rematch.

Speaker 1 (48:17):
The one how is rematched? Because you telling me I
gotta have I need to play rematch?

Speaker 4 (48:23):
You should it is. It is really if you like
soccer and you like it not being too crazy like
like FIFA or anything, and it being really over the top.

Speaker 1 (48:32):
Imagine n if it. I mean the soccer you know
how it's like NFL Street is like it.

Speaker 4 (48:38):
Yes, okay, it's a lot more in depth than you think,
too is. I really enjoyed playing rematch. I put a good,
like almost one hundred hours into that game.

Speaker 1 (48:47):
I've never been a soccer nigga, but like I appreciate soccer.

Speaker 4 (48:51):
I had to dig in my roots, yeah, nigga to
play some food to bowl all right, strategy and sim
game Final Fantasy Tactics The ivy List Chronicles did not
play this. It beat out SIP seven, Jurassic World Evolution three,
the Altars Tempest Rising in two point Museum.

Speaker 1 (49:13):
I would say they might have paid for that overseer
of seven.

Speaker 3 (49:16):
But from where everybody saying me with like Chronicles is
like they finally fixed everything that was fucked up with Fantasy.

Speaker 4 (49:24):
They brought back a good Tactics game.

Speaker 1 (49:26):
Right, this is like we finally got another good Final
Fantasy Taxis game.

Speaker 4 (49:31):
Then we have the best adaptation. The Last of Us
Season two won that it beat out a Minecraft movie
that will make cry, Splinter Cell, death Watch and Until Dawn,
Until don shouldn't have been here. I'm just gonna be
honest to Wait don't know. We talked about it, but
it just I wish that movie would just disappear from
my brain. I hate that I watched it. I tried

(49:53):
to give her a chance. I just there's no way
they beat out the Minecraft movie.

Speaker 1 (49:58):
I still seen that movie. It's free. What a good movie. Yeah,
it's a decent movie.

Speaker 4 (50:03):
You think, Okay, well then you have okay you can
speak on this, because do you think the Last of
Us Season two is better than Minecraft?

Speaker 1 (50:09):
No?

Speaker 2 (50:11):
It was good, and I ain't gonna say I'm gonna lie.
Last season two was good. I appreciated what they did.
But you know how, it's like, you know how the Super.

Speaker 3 (50:20):
Mario movie hit because it was like we're not we're
gonna acknowledge all the other ship, but we're gonna do
our own ship.

Speaker 1 (50:27):
That's how the Minecraft movie was. And I know nothing
about Minecraft, and that movie kept me interested. I Enjorgian.

Speaker 4 (50:34):
I mean, you knew nothing about the Last of Us either,
so I would say that's pretty good.

Speaker 3 (50:38):
Yeah, where like if you don't know Ship about the
game universe, but it's still an overall good movie.

Speaker 1 (50:45):
Yeah, it works.

Speaker 3 (50:47):
But at the same time, if you've played the games,
you can't complain about nothing that's going on.

Speaker 4 (50:53):
And I vote for Devil May Crack because I didn't
like the changes.

Speaker 1 (50:57):
Yeah, I DEVI anime. Yeah, I like, I know nothing
about Devil May Cry.

Speaker 4 (51:05):
So that's one of those where I didn't. I just
didn't like the changes. I don't like I'm not gonna
get to.

Speaker 1 (51:13):
The show. The show runner fucked it up for me automatically. Yeah,
he's he's a piece of work. That guy can't do it.
I can't do like he's God the.

Speaker 3 (51:24):
Men that he was like he thought he was bringing
back a dead franchise. I was like, and then he
was like, I never played Devil May Cry five, How
the fuck you thought it was?

Speaker 1 (51:36):
I punched you.

Speaker 4 (51:37):
Yeah, I can't anyway, fucking man. Best community support Balder's
Gate three. They managed to sneak in another one.

Speaker 1 (51:48):
We got one game of the year and guess what
we're still doing. Ship got to run it.

Speaker 3 (51:54):
God, Yeah that I gotta do it for you to say.
I gotta get bottles Gate three just for Tony.

Speaker 4 (52:00):
Esports game for the fiftieth year in a row, counter
Strike two. Somehow it's it wins.

Speaker 3 (52:07):
They don't know how, Bro, I swear don't know how
counter Strike is still making money.

Speaker 4 (52:12):
But they do loop boxes, weapon chat, weapon, skins, skins,
that's what. That's how they make money. And they're still going,
oh god, how how are we still playing? This game
is older than a lot of the gamers that play.
Counter Strike is as old as Valve. Well, that's the
first one is count Strike two, which is technically counter

(52:33):
Strike one, just three skimmed exactly.

Speaker 1 (52:37):
They were forgot. Yeah, they did this whole thing where
it ain't need to count Strike two is count of
Strike two point Oh.

Speaker 4 (52:45):
Yeah, that's all I was gonna say. It is technically
still counter Strike the first one. They just did the
engine upgrade and they did Yeah, that's crazy.

Speaker 1 (52:54):
It's weird. Bro.

Speaker 4 (52:55):
Counter Strike two team one Best Esports Team as well
Ship and Content Creator of the Year kind of was
not expecting. Nobody I think expected this because even moist
Critical was not at this show because the Peanut Nigga
No that was that's the Streamer Awards. Yeah, that was
Content Creator of the Year was between moist Critical cagerel

(53:19):
Kaysen at Soccer Amico and the Burnt Peanut and moist
Critical one oh ship.

Speaker 1 (53:25):
And he wasn't there. He was streaming it, wouldn't he
was streaming it. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (53:29):
The reaction is so funny because he's like, please don't
let it be me, Please don't let it be which
that's hilarious.

Speaker 1 (53:36):
But I'm not gonna lie. I think Kai got kind
of robbed here. He did numbers wise, like I mean,
like he's a little he do his noise like, yeah,
I fuck. I love him.

Speaker 3 (53:48):
His numbers are consistent, but when you pull off like
imaginative numbers for events, that's where kay won you know
what I'm saying, Like with the stream of thuns.

Speaker 1 (53:57):
And that's what I mean.

Speaker 4 (53:59):
Like Kai is doing a lot of like events and
stuff like that, and I don't even really watch him,
but I hear about that stuff all the time, and
I think that's there. You know, there's some worth in
that because it's critical. I actually do on occasion watch him,
but I barely hear anything he's doing. Right, But I
am just full disclosure, I am not in the streamer

(54:23):
news sphere, so I don't know what if he what
or if he's been doing anything this year.

Speaker 3 (54:29):
He's been pulling pull like he done broke. He's the
most subscribed nigga on Twitch and the stream is done
broke a racing for most of you as type ship.

Speaker 5 (54:38):
Yeah, you don't need a couple like That's why I'd
be like when they don't acknowledge him for she was like,
damn this kind of whenny, you know, I'd be like, damn,
this should one of your top view niggas, Bitch, I
don't really give him nothing true moments.

Speaker 4 (54:52):
And then to wrap it up, we have most anticipated
game GTA six.

Speaker 1 (54:59):
But man, it's yeah, damn it is damn. But I'm
be honest.

Speaker 4 (55:11):
I saw that rock Star or Take two recently sacked
like thirty something employees because they and they're currently being
sued by the way, because apparently these thirty something employees
were in the talks of making a union or forming
a union within the company because of how how they've
all been treated during the development and then they magically

(55:32):
get fired. Okay, yeah, so I'm a rock star man,
like what are you doing? But I'm not surprised, dude.
The guy, the owner of Take two is really a
trash person. But is he really Hey, owner, take to
come on a trap nurse podcast. Let's really see if
you're a trash person. Well, yeah, I don't think there

(55:52):
were no like huge upsets. I think here we had
some like yeah, I think this was pretty expected. Claire
obsecurity sweat, like we thought shut out the flute guy deserved.
Oh yeah, true, shout out the flute guy consistent every
year he played.

Speaker 1 (56:09):
Bro you said it when he pulled out the kazoo,
I died. Yeah, that was that was Peter Cinema. Blue
Man Group walked so he can run. I feel like
he been doing this before. Blue Man Group saying how
dare you? Blue Man Group was the blue prit No
point attended, attended.

Speaker 3 (56:26):
Because flute guy being consistent every time it was a
game awards and they had a orchestra.

Speaker 1 (56:31):
Flute guy gonna be there and he gonna pull out
like six different flutes.

Speaker 4 (56:36):
That's it, man, we're done. We're done with the Game
of Words, all wrapped up.

Speaker 1 (56:40):
I mean, like we had a.

Speaker 4 (56:41):
Bunch of reviews, but I'm I I wasn't feeling anything.

Speaker 1 (56:44):
I'm being honest.

Speaker 3 (56:45):
We'll talk about it next week because it was yeah, yeah,
I will say, like none of the light the reveals
kind of just hit me this year.

Speaker 4 (56:53):
I like how the Mega Manner Real brought out a
whole orchestra though that was pretty cool.

Speaker 3 (56:57):
I do appreciate it because it was like none of
just caught my eye, Like like none of the reveals
this year with some ship I've been waiting for, but
it's it's something that I'll be looking forward to that
like made me buy it, you know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (57:11):
Yeah, but we got a wrap, so I can't really
get too much into that unfortunately.

Speaker 1 (57:17):
Or freestyle shit.

Speaker 2 (57:21):

The Burden

The Burden

The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). Maggie had come to believe that the entire investigation of David was botched by the tiny local police department, or worse, covered up the real killer. Was Maggie correct? Was David’s claim of innocence credible? In Death and Deceit in Alliance, Maggie recounts the case that launched her career, and ultimately, “broke” her.” The results will shock the listener and reduce Maggie to tears and self-doubt. This is not your typical wrongful conviction story. In fact, it turns the genre on its head. It asks the question: What if our champions are foolish? Season 4 - The Burden: Get the Money and Run “Trying to murder my father, this was the thing that put me on the path.” That’s Joe Loya and that path was bank robbery. Bank, bank, bank, bank, bank. In season 4 of The Burden: Get the Money and Run, we hear from Joe who was once the most prolific bank robber in Southern California, and beyond. He used disguises, body doubles, proxies. He leaped over counters, grabbed the money and ran. Even as the FBI was closing in. It was a showdown between a daring bank robber, and a patient FBI agent. Joe was no ordinary bank robber. He was bright, articulate, charismatic, and driven by a dark rage that he summoned up at will. In seven episodes, Joe tells all: the what, the how… and the why. Including why he tried to murder his father. Season 3 - The Burden: Avenger Miriam Lewin is one of Argentina’s leading journalists today. At 19 years old, she was kidnapped off the streets of Buenos Aires for her political activism and thrown into a concentration camp. Thousands of her fellow inmates were executed, tossed alive from a cargo plane into the ocean. Miriam, along with a handful of others, will survive the camp. Then as a journalist, she will wage a decades long campaign to bring her tormentors to justice. Avenger is about one woman’s triumphant battle against unbelievable odds to survive torture, claim justice for the crimes done against her and others like her, and change the future of her country. Season 2 - The Burden: Empire on Blood Empire on Blood is set in the Bronx, NY, in the early 90s, when two young drug dealers ruled an intersection known as “The Corner on Blood.” The boss, Calvin Buari, lived large. He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary. In a city overrun by violent crime, he cracked the toughest cases and put away the worst criminals. “The Hulk” was his nickname. Then the story changed. Scarcella ran into a group of convicted murderers who all say they are innocent. They turned themselves into jailhouse-lawyers and in prison founded a lway firm. When they realized Scarcella helped put many of them away, they set their sights on taking him down. And with the help of a NY Times reporter they have a chance. For years, Scarcella insisted he did nothing wrong. But that’s all he’d say. Until we tracked Scarcella to a sauna in a Russian bathhouse, where he started to talk..and talk and talk. “The guilty have gone free,” he whispered. And then agreed to take us into the belly of the beast. Welcome to The Burden.
