Speaker 1 (00:00):
Trap trap really like you never Welcome, Welcome, Welcome, Welcome
to another excited episode of the Trapped Nerds podcast. When
this piece who.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
We are in Drey. How's your week? Man?

Speaker 3 (00:14):
It's been pretty straight?

Speaker 4 (00:16):
Uh you know it is Revenge of the Fifth, you know,
yesterday was made fourth pretty cool, got some light save
the twirl, and then got some foodish, finally made my
first fit, you know, my my official like I feel
like this is the one, like this is my official,
like when I do character shit, my fit. So I

(00:37):
finally made my belts.

Speaker 5 (00:38):
And should you worry in that post you made because
you look the kind of Jedi issue in one of
the posts.

Speaker 4 (00:43):
Yeah, that was that was it because that was the
point and I did.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
I did that with like my my rings, light and ship.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
So it was like I didn't have nobody actually take
the pictures of else me using.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
My camera running off and then trying to look through
this moment. Then I got so I did another twelve
and video. Other than this, that's just.

Speaker 4 (01:04):
Been chilling streaming playing French Final Fantasy, I mean the
scary Expedition.

Speaker 6 (01:09):
French Persona Final Fantasy Persona.

Speaker 4 (01:12):
Somebody said they gave a listen to dragon vibes and
I was like, huh, weird. I don't see I still
don't see it. I still don't see. But it reminds you.
It reminds me of a lot.

Speaker 6 (01:24):
Yeah, it's it's definitely an amalgamation of a bunch of
different stuff, but pretty great. Yeah, it's pretty great.

Speaker 4 (01:31):
And they first seen when they got onto the island,
when they made it to the main, when they was like, wait,
who is that old nigga?

Speaker 3 (01:37):
Wait? Why is he old? Oh god, it's not good
from being That's all I would say. That's been chilling. Though.

Speaker 6 (01:45):
I like one of the things because I've been playing
as well. One of the things I really like about
that instead of like you know, whenever you in combat
and it's like oh the button is like in combat
or or whatever, it's just very whatever. But in this game,
it's we continue because it's like, oh, we continue, we
keep pushing on kind of thing.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (02:05):
It's a little week. It's a weird thing that I
was like, Oh that's good. Yeah, my week's been pretty
It was good, and then it got real stressful. So
I watched me, I watched the Underbolts. We know we're
gonna talk about that, but I have some things. Anyway.
I finished Vikings Valhalla, and I have to say I'm

(02:29):
very underwhelmed a little bit, or maybe that's not the
right word. I think it all it all wrapped, you know, nicely,
but they wrapped too fast. I think it needed probably
like two more episodes to really just flesh out what
was going on. Because in one episode, like lit, actually
the same episode when Harold kills the dude that killed

(02:52):
the Emperor, he's already back in Norway the same episode,
probably like not even ten minutes later, and I was like, Wow,
he got there really fast. I'm how how and he's
already got his army. How long has it been? How long?
How long has life been here? I don't understand. But
it was a lot of that happening, and I was
not a huge fan of that. I really hope I've

(03:16):
heard there's rumors that they're going to continue the series
with Life, so I really hope that that's true because
I'm all for that. I'm like, Eli, I want to
see more Life explore in the world on his boat,
let's see. Then the stressful thing was yesterday my brother
got really sick and I almost immediately recognized it as

(03:37):
a pendicitis because I had mind taking out when I
was a kid, and a lot of the stuff he
was going through was what was going on, and he
I had him take medicine medicine in work, so I
was like, Okay, it's hospital time. And that was actually
a lot pain, like a lot. There wasn't a bunch
of struggle there with the doctors and stuff they were.
He actually had surgery last night and is already home

(04:00):
to day. What it was he had removed, it really
was yeah, yeah, so what they It's like what they
did to me was they like cut the side of
my stomach open, so I have a big scar still.
But now they made like three little holes. They put
a camera in one the other thing to grab it,

(04:23):
and then another one to like cut it, and then
they pull it out through the little little hole. So
it's like it's done that fast.

Speaker 4 (04:30):
Welcome to the technology we was we was going through,
cave Man.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
It's like they took out and you just woke up exactly.

Speaker 6 (04:41):
Yeah, because I was, I was hospitalized for a week.
I was in there for a whole week afterwards recovering. No,
I went to an actual I went to Parkland.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
Okay, yeah, they.

Speaker 5 (05:00):
You know, it's crazy that the appendix can almost kill
you if you don't take it out.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
But it don't really do much. I think it just
regulates the insulin or something like that.

Speaker 6 (05:07):
No, no, they so actually, and I looked into it
because I was talking to them about it, because when
I had mind taking out, They're like, oh, yeah, that
thing's useless. Man, it doesn't do anything. It's like, we
don't know why we have it. So in twenty seventeen, though,
they found some studies that, you know, since they started
looking into our microbiomes and stuff and like the bacteria
in our guts that really help us with digestion. Apparently,

(05:31):
back in the day when everyone used to die at dysentery,
one of the functions of the appendix was to take
all the good bacteria and grab it as it's being
flushed out while you know, you're shitting yourself to death.
But if you survived the dysentery, it would be easier
for the microbes to get back into your gut without
you needing to do much. But since today we don't

(05:54):
really need that because of all the nutrients we have
in our food and stuff like that, we don't really
need that anymore. Or even if we got really sick
in our intestines and our bodies just got rid of
all of it, it would repopulate by itself through what
we eat. So essentially what happens now is because it
doesn't get utilized as much, sometimes the bad bacteria can

(06:16):
get stuck up in there and that's how it gets infected.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
I feel like mine helped.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
Do you have your penons move to like recently?

Speaker 3 (06:26):
D oh you in?

Speaker 2 (06:28):
When I was in the hospital, something different.

Speaker 3 (06:30):
No, I had No. I had an absence by my
blood that was like on my.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
Yeah, that's what it was.

Speaker 4 (06:39):
Most of the I had stomach ulsas, but that was
like high school. That ship sucked because that was basically
like holes in your stomach and then blood just pouring
into your ship.

Speaker 3 (06:52):
So I thought like I just ate some really bad
ship because my ship was black. Nah, it was blood.
I was dying.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
Yes, now have my surgery like bang bang. I woke up.
I woke up watching him do my surgery. They put
me in a bed, put me in call your parents
go pick you up. The same day, bro, I.

Speaker 6 (07:17):
Was ready to sit there all week. I was like,
all right, let me plan around this, get my finances
in order, because I am not going to work this week.
I'm have to him and no. I was there. They're like, yeah,
you're just here. We're gonna If nothing goes wrong during
the surgery, you can take him home. Right after, I
was like, what excuse.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
Me about it?

Speaker 4 (07:37):
So good?

Speaker 1 (07:37):
It's so good these days? You don't got worried about infections.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
No mon charge you to do that.

Speaker 6 (07:43):
Oh yeah, I am dreading that.

Speaker 3 (07:45):
Bill.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
I ain't had no up. I paid out a month
pockets way to go, so she got the chick. I said, yeah,
that real quick.

Speaker 6 (07:54):
Yeah, medicids. So I'm gonna taket care most of it.

Speaker 3 (07:56):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
I wish I would have had my surgery when I
had insurance. Still, when I still on my mom instant.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
I remember what I had Blue Colls, Bruce Shield. I
had know how to when I had.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
Used to when I was on That's what my finger
fixed and stuff. When I broke my finger. I get
my finger.

Speaker 2 (08:12):
I just came.

Speaker 6 (08:15):
I just came home from my doctor's appointment. I've been
seeing her like every month.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
Bro Bro.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
I used to go to doctor for anything.

Speaker 3 (08:21):
Bro.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
I went for the sidis the fiction like three times
in a row. I used to go for everything.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
Problem, I don't falling off, I can't walk anymore.

Speaker 6 (08:30):
Well, I'm just trying to get my health right overall.
So there's a lot of follow ups like I actually
hurt my knee, Well she has, she said, there's a
lot of fluid build up. So like last month, the
whole reason I went was because of that, and this
month after, even after I waited like three weeks and
started exercising on my knee again, it started building up again.
So now I have to go to like sport medicine,

(08:51):
get an X rayed, and they're going to teach me
essentially how I can still exercise with this because it's
not ever going to go away old people problems, you know,
not though my week, my week's been pretty good. What
about you, Elimuh?

Speaker 1 (09:08):
Halfway through season five Yellow Throne already show I have
seen in my lifet me if I let people talk
me through watching this show. They talked about this show
like Game of Thrones or something. I watched the show.

Speaker 2 (09:18):
I talked about the show like it was like Longmire.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
This show, This show is ain't nothing, but Dallas, don't
nobody learning it don't nobody learning any listens, no character development,
and none of the characters.

Speaker 2 (09:28):
Rip rip developed pretty well.

Speaker 1 (09:30):
Never mind, he's the same dude from the whole show.
All right, all person who had characters development was Casey
and his wife.

Speaker 2 (09:37):
Ain't his wife and him knowing as hell though.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
Yes they're knowing. They who had characters. See why you
see why Bet is like she is, though you see
the other reason why I didn't understand that either there
was kids, why she can't have them babies? The more
there was kids, and you know fault that he is
doesn't doesn't focus his kids. Yes, that's his father, it's

(10:00):
his fault. I don't know why, everybody, I don't know
why she blamed her James the whole time. She mean
this nigga be having be celebrating some ships like she
just come up out of the shadows.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
You ain't ship.

Speaker 1 (10:12):
I don't like, I don't like nothing. Characters the right
all kind of trash. And the show I guess it's
because the country with but the dollogue is trash. And
then they brought the most annoyed girl with the faked
texts accident I never seen in my life, said Tea,
and they said she from Yeah, she's from work, Bro,
we do not talk like that. That one they got,

(10:35):
they got her extra her like she she like doing
her like the dir I know we say there something
like but but not like the way she's doing it. Bro,
Like she like they like they got somebody that's not
from Texas, bro taking textas accent.

Speaker 7 (10:51):
That was niggas offended that it made man what they
said she when she started talking, I'm like, my god,
they're gonna say she from Texas.

Speaker 4 (11:02):
Now I know how I feel when everybody when anytime
I see somebody doing Louisiana accent and I'm just like.

Speaker 3 (11:09):
From what part.

Speaker 1 (11:12):
Nobody in the city talk like that? Bro? That that
made me you mad because they trying to say she's
from the f l are Bro Like, no, Bro, that
made that made her relationship with the black, her relationship
with the black. Dude, did you think it was forced?
Because I feel like it was forced. She forced?

Speaker 4 (11:31):
That was That was the entire point. But I say,
now the wildest one. Just look up t I playing
a New Orleans nigga. You will cry laughing just why
just look it up?

Speaker 1 (11:44):
But uh yeah, I'm I'm on. I'm on episode season
five episode.

Speaker 2 (11:49):
Now almost done through that bitch quick.

Speaker 1 (11:53):
Yea waste waste time, give me some part and get
boring sometimes. So that's that's what that's really getting me,
some of the spart kind of dra But uh uh,
let's see.

Speaker 2 (12:07):
What I was about, Like, come on, I know you
got some positives about it.

Speaker 3 (12:11):
Ah, give me what.

Speaker 6 (12:15):
Real hard about it?

Speaker 3 (12:17):
You can you can do one? God damn Okay.

Speaker 2 (12:20):
I know you have.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
Positive because you wouldn't have made it this far if
the show wasn't at least tasteful. You know what I mean?

Speaker 6 (12:25):
You don't know my mom setting when he gets invested there.

Speaker 1 (12:28):
I started watching it all you watching pretty much pretty much? Man?
What do I like about the show?

Speaker 3 (12:34):
I like to remind you too much adabas.

Speaker 1 (12:36):
I like the cowboys and too.

Speaker 5 (12:38):
I love the rodeo industry is amazing, and I like
how they depicted.

Speaker 1 (12:43):
I just don't like how the d I hired all
them females out of nowhere. Hey women, Hey women, women
on far some of the baddest man. I went the
four season of the show. I see three season up show,
I see one woman that nia like eight women out

(13:05):
of no world?

Speaker 2 (13:06):
What you did? Also like? I like they use like
they talked.

Speaker 5 (13:10):
They did do a lot of teaching about like family
lines and ship like y'all know how you have the
four the four fifty, the King Ranch version that's actual
like a rancher, like the dude the King Range, like
a really big ranch in Texas. Like he was so popular.
He read some of the best cows and livestock. He
was so popular that Ford named they on't truck out, like.

Speaker 1 (13:29):
Oh, the actual livestock commission stuff. Yeah, and interested when
they're doing that and when they investigating stuff like that that's
in the shootouts is interesting too. I remember old dude
killed those two dudes and back of the trail, Like,
what the are you doing?

Speaker 6 (13:42):
Bro?

Speaker 4 (13:46):
Like what?

Speaker 2 (13:48):
But I like it.

Speaker 5 (13:49):
I like the how they pay homers to the four
sixers ranch four sixs wrench. It's one of like the
most like the oldest, most popular rances in Texas. And
Taylor Sheridan brought it out. He's been like doing crazy
stuff with Yellowstone.

Speaker 3 (14:02):
Simps, go watch Dallas.

Speaker 1 (14:04):
Taylor he created, he created, he did Sario.

Speaker 2 (14:09):
My bad.

Speaker 3 (14:11):
What I'm saying?

Speaker 2 (14:11):
What does he needs a director? Writer? Director?

Speaker 5 (14:15):
Created Yellowstone all those shows.

Speaker 4 (14:19):
So he bought Okay, so he bought one of them,
big ass damn so he can literally just do all
the movies at his house.

Speaker 2 (14:24):
That's what he's basically been doing.

Speaker 1 (14:27):
Yellowstone, yellow Go Watch Dallas. It was it was, it
was Yellowstone before Yellowstone, with.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
All those cattles. He ain't gotta pay taxes.

Speaker 1 (14:36):
At all the same storylines.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
And it's okay, I've never seen all see the new Dallas.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
The same the betrayal, the family dynamics, the doctor's son stuff,
it's all the same.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
Go ahead, all right, It's.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
Just it's just all that's the only thing that's difference.
It's all the still of cattle.

Speaker 3 (14:56):
Yeah, that literally is different.

Speaker 2 (15:00):
Well, my week was good.

Speaker 5 (15:02):
My favorite show ended right just Jimstones. I was gonna
give a quick review of the season. The season in
the whole started out slow. I'm not gonna lie. The
first episode was pretty interesting. They started out with Bradley
Cooper playing Eli jim songs I think Grandfather or Dashed,
basically showing how the jim Stones Lenny started. And then
for me, the show just started picking up until like

(15:24):
the last I mean, of course, like throughout some funnling,
funny moments. Everybody's seeing how much I'll be posting Uncle
baby Billy Like he's been funny throughout the whole season.
Him and the sister. She they the two funniest people
in the show. But the show finally came to the end.

Speaker 3 (15:38):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (15:39):
Basically, Eli Jim started started dating his uh white, his
dad wife's best friend, and now the dead wife's best
friend has his jealous husband. They found out about that's
been doing all this day, Like he's been killing all
of her exes and stuff like that, and he tried
to do the same thing to Eli and Baby Billy
and the ex husband played by Michael Ruker. Uh, y'all
remember him from Walking then and uh, young dude he

(16:03):
was in Also he's one to play the ex husband.
He basically been with his son and this you didn't
find out this about the son to the end. He
basically been with his son killing or torturing or kidnapping
everybody that the his ex wife dates, and so they
found out he was doing it. The son ended up
killing him at the gate A Park. But then the
last episode you find out the son was also in

(16:24):
on everything too. He starts to try and kill all
three though all three of the siblings uh, I don't
know why I get their names. And they the main
character is the sister, the oldest brother, and the youngest brother.
He starts trying to kill all them episodes they ended
up killing him and then like y'all comes in, Eli
is retiring from the church. I like the show and
the whole if you started like because I've always uh,

(16:47):
I've always been critical of mego churches and like those
TV and the television broadcasts and type people because they
have a lot of negative and flaws in them.

Speaker 2 (16:56):
Yeah, bro, like right.

Speaker 4 (16:58):
Them the churches that a nigga taken suit jacket off
and hit the bitch with it and she passed out.

Speaker 3 (17:03):
That's when I was like, hey, nah, so didn't wait.
Ain't no fucking way.

Speaker 5 (17:07):
And it kind of in a way, it kind of
shows because people be thinking, like bro, church has got
some hidden secrets and people don't be knowing about it,
and it's right on part with what they was doing
in the show.

Speaker 2 (17:18):
It was just a comical take to it. But I
like the show.

Speaker 1 (17:22):
Like the last four episodes was probably the peak of
the season. It did start off slow, but it still
had the hilarity of humor. It was the last season.
But what else did I watch? It was righteous gym
song and no, that was it. That's all I had.
Uh I did and I've been cleaned up all week.
That's about it. Before we go to break real quick
and Door season two Fire Fire and Or is the

(17:43):
best nun Jedi focused for Wars show I've ever seen
in my life. It's a goat bro and Or is
so good man. They the last episode four five six
so good. Oh episode I think of episode three or
four was about the sixth trade on it was this
the show so good, the commentary, they have, the politics,
the movement. Oh, it's so good man. I love and

(18:05):
and Doors. Want to bit shows on TV right now?

Speaker 3 (18:06):
Man, go watch the first season too.

Speaker 6 (18:09):
Okay. Also, I just want to add so people don't
think I'm spreading false information that those are studies. What
I was talking about with the appendix. They are that
they're still not one hundred percent confirmed, But that's what
the doctors were talking to me about. Actually, Sir, I
just don't I don't want to hear about it.

Speaker 5 (18:26):
But we gotta go to a quick break when we
come back thunderboats after this and we are back, so
turn the boat's racent release. We're gonna do the review

(18:47):
as always, kick it over to Eli Eli, What you got.

Speaker 1 (18:50):
Thunder Boats or the new as the new billboards say,
the new Avengers. They got new billboards going up with
Thunderboats marked out and new Avengers in them. Ah, this
is the wacky bitess team might see my life. What
is they gonna defend against the only the only person
they got a centry. He can't even use his powers.

(19:11):
Let's go ahead and go go to the movie Man Thunderbolts. Uh,
let's see. Okay, after finding themselves a snurg and a
death trap and unconventional team of anti hero must have
bark on dangerous mission that will forced them to confront
the darkest corners of their past. Man, the people who's
really cool, people who was really calm confronting their past

(19:32):
was Black Widow and Bob. That was it. That was it.
They don't want who went through everything they they was
the real focus on the movie. They carried the movie
Man two to me, They carried the movie that was
because Joe Walker was crazy. Your wife left you.

Speaker 5 (19:48):
That's what after every nigga, every nigga in the military
like that.

Speaker 1 (19:55):
We could tell because divorced dad syndrome. You had we
already seen it, seen it, we already seen it. But
my bitch wife, he was horrible. He was he was.

Speaker 2 (20:07):
She's like, I am, that's a funny scene.

Speaker 1 (20:12):
I'm doing it. What are you talking about? The baby crying?
Let's talk about first. Lets talk about the new character
they introduced, Bob Century or a void. They introduced him
Marvel Superman. They had, you know, they copy Superman for him,
So that's another one up Superman. They got a copy
of the characters.

Speaker 2 (20:31):
It's like one of the three. They got two other
ones that's like him too.

Speaker 1 (20:34):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I say Superman the blueprint bro Uh Century,
he's uh he has mental disorder, Bob, he has disorder.
He has depression, bipolar stuff like that. Uh you see
it because he starts as a Century, but then he
gets into his head and then that's when the boy comes.

(20:57):
I think he gets his blained brain expoided by Valentino.
But what's your thoughts on the Void or Century or Bob?
Go ahead to go drug.

Speaker 4 (21:05):
I always you know, the Century is like, that's my nigga,
but you know they nerved my nigga super hard. But
I do appreciate kind of how they did make the
boys seem like that's kind of one of them, because
people don't be rid of the boys one of them,
like Nippotine.

Speaker 3 (21:20):
You're not beating that in Marvel.

Speaker 4 (21:22):
Like that's why the censure is like so op within
himself to actually hold the boy within them. But I
was cool how they did it because it's like one
of them. You can't. I don't know what the fuck
are we gonna do with Centry though, because.

Speaker 1 (21:36):
It's nice that they added actually introduce with some interesting
new characters of the Marvel Man.

Speaker 3 (21:40):
I do appreciate that.

Speaker 1 (21:41):
The cinematic universe we get tired of the same characters.

Speaker 5 (21:43):
They need to stop doing shit in New York because
I'm star wondering what the fuck Spider man he sees
the shit going on?

Speaker 6 (21:50):
You know, I was thinking the same thing because like
when the Void takes over that whole part, I'm like,
where's the sanctum sanctorum there? Like what's happening?

Speaker 1 (21:58):
All of them got avoided, they all got voided, that's what.

Speaker 6 (22:02):
But is that not shielded against stuff like that?

Speaker 3 (22:05):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (22:06):
I don't know, because the Void keg can take out
ship like that, but I don't know if that was
them using you know this marvel. They don't even think
like that. I don't even know if they was thinking
like that or that true.

Speaker 1 (22:18):
Xavier, what's your thoughts on the void or bob Oh.

Speaker 2 (22:22):
I like him.

Speaker 5 (22:23):
I like how they media like kind of made him
h come up relief a little bit and made him
likable starting out. I love his introduction then, like he
started from when they found him in the little Bio
World lab which is flash punts, which gives flash punks. Man,
I'm just saying when they found him in the of
the in the lab and they broke him out and

(22:43):
they started figuring out like this nigga can fly ship
all way up until they put him in a sensory
shoot made his hair blood. I like the fight scene
where he fought all of the thunderbolts and they like
this Nigga really.

Speaker 2 (22:53):
Him like they couldn't do nothing, but he did. He
did like they could do nothing, nothing, nothing at all. Bro.
I love it. I like him. I can't wait to
see what we do with them.

Speaker 1 (23:04):
See bucket get serious.

Speaker 6 (23:06):
Oh my god. And they swelled the music too, They
swelled the music, got the music.

Speaker 1 (23:11):
He just got piece, okay, but they did kind of
show how strong, what kind of how strong my brain
it is, because he didn't break his arm or nothing
like that.

Speaker 5 (23:19):
He had to take it off, he couldn't shatter a
out nothing like that. I thought that was an interesting
little thing they put it in there.

Speaker 6 (23:24):
By the way, Bucky severely under used in this.

Speaker 1 (23:28):
He was just a catalyst to get them together. He
just wanted to made them actually be a team, forced
them to actually did Tony, what's your thoughts on Bob
Slash sentry slash the board.

Speaker 6 (23:43):
Uh, he's the best part of the movie. He was
the most interesting for sure, because I'm not gonna lie.
I was a little not interested in most other people
on the team. Like, I think Ava had interesting point,
like an interesting kind of story. Also, is she from
anything else or is this her first time in the MCU.

Speaker 2 (24:05):
Yeah, she was, Oh you was here when you said that.

Speaker 6 (24:08):
I don't remember at all. Well, she's I mean, she's
she's pretty interesting.

Speaker 1 (24:12):
Uh character.

Speaker 6 (24:14):
I do not care about John Walker at all.

Speaker 3 (24:17):
You ain't my captain in America.

Speaker 6 (24:19):
Yeah, yeah, my captain America. Jolena is Okay, I like
I kind of like her her, Like I went through. Yeah,
I like her more than a black widow. I'm not
gonna lie. I think she's more interesting.

Speaker 1 (24:30):
True, I see a lot of people. I thought people
gonna get on my head if I said that. But yes,
you're right.

Speaker 6 (24:36):
The centry's cool. I really liked all of that. I
really liked I like when they show, like really how
strong someone is. And then because he just pieced them up,
that was that was so crazy. I was like, wow,
they really can't do anything.

Speaker 1 (24:48):
True. All right, let's talk about another character he told
just talked about it. Elena, Jolena Belova one of the
best character arcs in the In the movie though, where
she won't come from the at the end, the character
went went went full circle. Yeah, she faced the trauma
my child. She had to get her. She had to
get her child, her friend. That's weird. They the Red Room.

(25:14):
They they wow bro oh but uh but uh, Tony,
what's your thoughts on Elena? Because these are two stars
on the movie, ask me, so, what's your thoughts on?

Speaker 4 (25:23):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (25:23):
Yeah, for sure. They they were definitely the stars like
Century and Jolena. This was basically their movie. Everyone else
was very underutilized. But Elaina, like I said, she grew
on me, like at first when because I kind of
picked up from the trailers that she was going to
be the star of this movie. But I think and

(25:44):
I had, I had felt kind of some type of
way about that because I was like, I don't know,
she kind of she has the same story as Black Lido.
How are they going to make that work? But they
did it really well the way they really did all
her exposition through her memory, like when the Void was
showing her that one memory and she had to face that,

(26:04):
and even the stuff with Red Guardian, like their relationship
and how he talked. Yeah, that was that was all
really well done. So yeah, I really enjoyed her build up.

Speaker 1 (26:12):
Here, what's your thoughts on your line?

Speaker 2 (26:14):
I like the character.

Speaker 5 (26:16):
This is one character that even though she was in
the Black Widow movie that we didn't really like, they
really did a good job at developing her from beginning
to end because we saw her in a Black Widow movie,
we saw her starts came from the Red Room, and
then we got to see a good bit of her
in the Hawcok series and then now we're seeing her
now in the movie and were just like, it's kind

(26:37):
of like we're seeing this character actually be developed really well.
I think that's why she's pretty much likable out of
all of the thunder Bulls. I like her, of course,
I like her better than Scarlet Johanson's Black Widow because again,
we didn't know as much about Black Widow when she
was coming.

Speaker 1 (26:54):
With connect emotionally with idea in this movie was connected
it emotionally with.

Speaker 2 (26:59):
Her, and I think they get on the time.

Speaker 1 (27:01):
Only time I felt emotional for Black Widow was Infinity Warning.

Speaker 5 (27:04):
Yeah yeah, but yeah they didn't. We had a lot
of time groderous character. I mean, at least I did.
And I think that's why she's more likable for me
than Black With. I do like her more. I like
to Charrec I can't wait to see or from. And
she also seems more capable than Black Widow was. You know,
she she uh more thought out well, playing better than

(27:27):
the other Black Widow was, So I like it.

Speaker 1 (27:29):
I like to take on the two dre your thoughts
of Lena.

Speaker 4 (27:34):
Yeah, it was a good like Bill little to her.
Now I appreciate it now. It's like I want to
see Laina. Hey, dude, pull some of your big sister ship,
your big sister, he'll take our thing those Now we.

Speaker 3 (27:46):
We need these typeing you on that level.

Speaker 1 (27:49):
Now you didn't, you.

Speaker 3 (27:50):
Didn't not already kind.

Speaker 4 (27:51):
Of stopped century a little bit, kind of So now
what's gonna be your galactic threat? You know what I mean?
When you got to talk to aliens and ships? I
need from now. But I enjoyed it.

Speaker 3 (28:02):
Yeah, she stood up like she's she's him athy.

Speaker 1 (28:05):
Now, okay, next we gotta talk about the building. Valentina Allegra.

Speaker 3 (28:11):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (28:12):
This movie starts with uh, she's uh. They're doing the
investigation into her.

Speaker 6 (28:16):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (28:17):
Congress and Bucky Bournes and Congressman Gary Uh the black
the fat black dude that's in everything. He's every I
seen them in like fifty movies and everything. Agent is
the ship they uh they do. Uh, they're doing an investigation.
They trying to impeach uh Valentina. And this is where

(28:37):
the conflict of the movie comes because she's trying to
destroy all the evidence about the dirty stuff she's did.
And that's what she tried to She likes all them
in the thunderboats in the room to kill them. She's
really trying to kill them, trying to get them to
kill each other. Then she's gonna accinerate all the evidence.
And that's where they find Citrict because she don't know
that he's still in there and he's alive and he
about the trial and stuff like that. But this is
where all the cosstakes happen. What are your thoughts of

(28:58):
her as a feeling? And uh, what your thoughts of
her getting away at the end? Again, Tony, that was crazy.

Speaker 6 (29:03):
I cannot believe like she pulled them into a press
meeting like that. Man, I was dying. I couldn't help
but laughing in the theater at that. She's She's sly
for sure.

Speaker 1 (29:15):
Yeah. Uh do y'all think she did? Y'all think that
this plan should have actually worked? Y'all think she still
should have got away with what she did. I feel
like they still could have turned her end, even because
she just made the heroes now, so they still could
have turned the end. Bro, I don't understand why she
got away with it. I still don't don't get it.
But because it's going to invalidate invalidate everything that they like,

(29:36):
they won't they won't be avengers, they won't be in
the light anymore. It basically gave him a clean slate
her doing that, so that's why they kind of let
her go.

Speaker 2 (29:43):
That's what I'm seeing, Okay.

Speaker 3 (29:45):
I'm just how the did this bitch keep getting away
with all this?

Speaker 1 (29:50):
Or she got out of funds from that? I won't know.

Speaker 5 (29:53):
That's nothing. They be going in on the C I
A C. I be doing it like this, where do
you get money for this?

Speaker 1 (30:03):
Tell her what your thoughts on her? I mean, Dre,
what's your thoughts on her? Vallanina?

Speaker 3 (30:07):
This bitch can in son. I don't see how she
do it. Man.

Speaker 4 (30:11):
It's like I love her, but I hate I hate
her so much, but you hate us so much you gotta.

Speaker 3 (30:15):
Love, Like, how do you do this? She's a bitch
in like the worst way, true true.

Speaker 5 (30:24):
I love me and bitchy female supervillain, so her character
in the whole. And then I love Julia Lewis Dreyfe.
I think that's her name. I freaking love her as
an actress. I love what she's anything because she's funny
and she's a good serious act that she was doing
that good at this movie.

Speaker 1 (30:39):
So the best thing to come out of that mid right, right,
I mean, Craig was kind of funny before the n
word thing.

Speaker 5 (30:50):
But but uh yeah, I love it.

Speaker 2 (30:55):
I love the role.

Speaker 1 (30:55):
She plays that role very well, like she's like because
she's very like suburban mom acting non slump, but she's
like a fucking murderer.

Speaker 5 (31:04):
She's killed a lot of people and I love it.
And yeah, she played real good.

Speaker 1 (31:08):
I like the villain. I like the villain arc. And
then at the end where she just like pulled back,
you're the adventures there, Like I said, it's a reason
why I think if she wouldn't have did that, then
they wouldn't because I remember, they an't want to be
in the most of them do they want to be
in there?

Speaker 2 (31:21):
Like they don't want to do dark s Hit anymore.

Speaker 1 (31:23):
So that was that was a turnaround in uh uh yeah,
big turn around dark Yeah.

Speaker 5 (31:31):
So I think that they're like, Okay, well we got this.
But I feel like I can't wait to see her demise.
I can't wait to see what happens to her and
what her demise is or if she bleeds over because
I think Lady Haydra has something to do with the
X Men too, if she bleeds over to when they
start doing the X Men stuff. I just can't wait
to see her storyline, her story.

Speaker 6 (31:51):
Art really so she she kind of just like you were.
She really is like Amanda Waller and she's like touches
in all the everything.

Speaker 1 (31:59):
All right, be a little bit of air well, all right, Now,
we don't talk about some of the main points the
main character in the movie. Talk about some of the
main storylines, Tony. First off, let's talk about some of
your favorite storylines in the movie that you want to
talk about. Go ahead.

Speaker 6 (32:12):
My favorite storyline is the one that ended fifteen minutes
into the movie. Task Master got absolutely peaced. Goodbye, good riddance,
Thank goodness.

Speaker 1 (32:23):
Didn't miss it off, didn't get it off in that move.
I didn't it. I didn't care what she died either.
I didn't hear no gas in the movie theater either.
She just got shot. Nobody knows who she was in
the first place.

Speaker 6 (32:35):
Even Bob, He's like he dead. Yeah, goodbye, good riddance,
favorite actual test Master, please thank you.

Speaker 5 (32:44):
I was actually annoyed by that because that because she
was so cool in that scene, because she came in
kind of a little badass, and did she talked to
And that's one of the big issues with her being
task Masters that she didn't talk and then they just
gonna kill her off like that.

Speaker 2 (32:56):
I'm like, bitch, fuck y'all. That's just kind of man.

Speaker 3 (33:00):
That was them saying we're sorry.

Speaker 5 (33:02):
I guess I thought that was gonna make the character
better instead of killing off. But I guess that's what
you gotta do.

Speaker 6 (33:06):
I did like how she fought. That was pretty cool.
But you know what, I'm gonna take this as I
don't I don't. You're right, I don't need the redemption,
just get rid of her.

Speaker 2 (33:16):
Did you ask me what my favorite scene was?

Speaker 1 (33:18):
Uh, what's your favorite plot, plot or storyline? Oh?

Speaker 5 (33:23):
Yeah, the honestly, the stuff with the Valentino whatever the
girl name is.

Speaker 2 (33:28):
I keep for getting character's name, like I keep. That's why.
Later the storyline with Lady Hydra all the.

Speaker 5 (33:33):
Ship she's doing, that's that was just very interesting, Like
she's doing all the clean up and uh, she's basically
the reason why we got Sentry and how they set
this storyline up and everything like that.

Speaker 2 (33:44):
That's that's what my favorite plot of the story.

Speaker 1 (33:46):
All right, Drake, you got any plot you want to
talk about.

Speaker 3 (33:48):
And the center or I enjoyed it, it was appreciated.

Speaker 4 (33:52):
I'm just you know, I'm just happy to see Centri
just doing ship and they didn't make him a super bitch,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (33:59):
Watch your flapping up across above the city. It was
so cool, man.

Speaker 4 (34:04):
They literally then they Denzel Washington training dage his ass
real quick. We got the vest both for ends, like
they lit his ass up and we saw him a hood.

Speaker 1 (34:13):
He died just mis was ah Atlanta ar with especially
her theme of Red Guardian and then when she's talking
about I haven't heard you from you for a year,
that was. That was a good conversation.

Speaker 3 (34:26):
That was uh.

Speaker 1 (34:28):
And then her conversation with Bob and the void, Uh,
it was that was the heart, the heart they had.

Speaker 3 (34:34):
It was so good.

Speaker 4 (34:34):
Yeah, that was that was their friendship was just like
that was probably that was my like besides that, like
their friendship along the way, and that was.

Speaker 3 (34:43):
That's They better they God, they better say.

Speaker 4 (34:45):
Some type of commentary like two movies down the line
about that, you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (34:50):
The storted out really good. I like how they they
weaves mental health in her because the times we lived
in all the mental health crisis we're going to right now,
like they we've been in there, and that the act
and they had between them two that was that was
some good acting. Good good act that was that was
in game or Infenity war level acting.

Speaker 3 (35:07):
It felt that's.

Speaker 5 (35:08):
What ahead, go ahead because I think you you about
to do the negatives.

Speaker 2 (35:12):
Yeah, yeah, go ahead.

Speaker 1 (35:14):
But storelinesline was really good.

Speaker 3 (35:17):
Man.

Speaker 1 (35:17):
I love thewareness they had with that, the care they
took with it. If it felt the didn't feel out
of place, it felt like it belonged in the time
when right now. I really like that, man, I really
like that. Like I said, like I said, some good
acting in this this move from those two, especially negatives. Yeah,
my negatives acting was like I said, acting was incredible.

(35:39):
I wish we I don't know. I just wanted more action. Bro.

Speaker 5 (35:41):
If we got if we got these superheroes who don't
really have amazing superpowers and they're being introduced to us,
I think we should have had more scenes of them
kicking ass, like whooping ass more, you know what I mean.
And I think, like I said, I really gotta go
back and see the Bucky scene because I think that's
probably the most of the movie and I missed it.

(36:01):
But yeah, that's that's why I want to see, Like
we should have seen more of that, more of them,
because when you don't have amazing superpowers, you gotta show
me why these people are partant. They did it with
the acting, they did it with the storyline, applots and
stuff like that, but also from like a power stands for,
from like a fighting stand part. I want to see
why we should support these heroes, and I feel like

(36:21):
they didn't do much of that in the movie when
it comes to the action and the comeback.

Speaker 4 (36:26):
All right, Drake Like, I enjoyed the movie for what
it was and where I guess we're going, But once again,
I just don't know why this movie felt like a
filler episode and it bothers me because it had the
it had the moments like this was a this was
a up there.

Speaker 3 (36:45):
I don't know. It ain't like top ten like that.
I ain't gonna say that like that. But it was good.
It was really good. But I'm like, it didn't I
don't know.

Speaker 4 (36:54):
He was like, yeah, it's just like in the bigger picture,
I'm still just like, what the fuck really been going on?

Speaker 1 (37:01):
Like, and it felt like we just hopped off a
feel over with the Captain a miracle, Brave New Worlds.
I thought that was the set up, right, Like, we.

Speaker 3 (37:09):
Started getting set up for Ship. So it's like and so.

Speaker 1 (37:12):
These movies in the end, they just set up for
New the two New Adventures teams.

Speaker 4 (37:15):
That's all it was because so we so now we
already know fantastic fot they just gonna have a big
super climax the better where they all do team workship.
We're gonna get the Avenger shot where they all do
the rise up ship and it's going in the circle
and then they gonna come to all ship.

Speaker 3 (37:31):
So now I'm just.

Speaker 4 (37:32):
Likesh, I know it's gonna happen.

Speaker 3 (37:35):
I'm calling it.

Speaker 6 (37:39):
Yeah. So when I when I got out of it
talking about it, I think I feel a little more
favorable about it now that I really like laid it out.
But when I first came out of the theater, I
was like underwhelmed. I was like, is that it kind
of like I don't know, uh, And what's crazy is
I don't know that I can exactly pinpoint why I

(38:02):
feel that way. I think other other than maybe I
let someone hype me up too much. I let and
I let the people like because the general news around
this movie has been very positive. They're like it's the
best MC movie.

Speaker 1 (38:19):
Got to remember, you got to remember. They the enormous
They're not coming.

Speaker 3 (38:25):
And a lot of them paid to do it.

Speaker 6 (38:26):
Yeah, and so and that's I think that's my biggest issue,
Like is I don't exactly know what is.

Speaker 1 (38:33):
But I do understand why they like this movie a lot. Yeah,
for sure, like give you that same feel, even though
they feel like a feel to me. I can see
from the outside looking.

Speaker 4 (38:42):
In, looking at it. Not in the timeline of everything
going on, it's a good ass movie, yeah, but in
the bigger picture of the emcu's stilled.

Speaker 6 (38:53):
I can see that, you know what I mean. Yeah,
But I think my biggest issue, and I kind of
mentioned this earlier, was Bucky being underutilized, like he really
just was there for plot and that that was it true,
Like I think, how many lions did this man have?

Speaker 3 (39:09):
Like none?

Speaker 1 (39:11):
Ghost was better than him in this movie.

Speaker 6 (39:13):
Man, Yeah, Ghosts had more lines than him. Guardian, he
was just here.

Speaker 1 (39:19):
He started to capture the team and make him work together.

Speaker 2 (39:22):
That's it.

Speaker 4 (39:22):
What was the name that was over the suicide squad?

Speaker 2 (39:26):
That Rick Black?

Speaker 3 (39:29):
He was basically.

Speaker 6 (39:31):
Yeah, that's a that's a good I think Rick Black
was more interesting though in the movie, Bucky's already pretty interesting.
But I guess I understand. It's like he's been.

Speaker 3 (39:44):
They made him and he was basically they made him
the handle.

Speaker 5 (39:47):
I also did like how most of those scenes are
used in the trailer were just bullshit scenes in the
movie exactly.

Speaker 6 (39:54):
I feel the same way.

Speaker 1 (39:55):
I was like.

Speaker 6 (39:57):
And then they had like an extended preview while back
where Bucky was there that whole like broad team, and
like half of that got used.

Speaker 5 (40:08):
So he was putting his arm on he took out.
I thought some badass ship was happening. He was just
washing his arm.

Speaker 1 (40:13):
That was it.

Speaker 6 (40:16):
Yeah, is he buck Bucky? Just lets everyone call him Bucky?
Now he used to have a problem with that.

Speaker 2 (40:26):
Yeah, he used to be like.

Speaker 1 (40:30):
Tony, he's middle that was age, a congressman now living
a different life. Tony don't care about that.

Speaker 3 (40:35):
That nigga like one hundred and twenty. Now that's true.

Speaker 6 (40:39):
I go ahead, Well, we gotta go to break.

Speaker 1 (40:41):
But my negative real quick if you don't want to
be spoiled, turned off the podcast real quick, muted for
like the two minutes already. The end criticy made me mad.
I know, we called what was gonna happen in fantest
for But it made me mad when they say that
in the Dimenssion dimensional Message or whatever, and then you
should the Fantastic for a trip ship flying. I'm like that,

(41:02):
don't spat a fantastic for a movie. Now I know
I know what's I know what's gonna happen in the movie.

Speaker 3 (41:07):
Now you know now what they pop up in.

Speaker 4 (41:14):
They they gotta accidentally crash land in the X Men
universe and then all of them gotta come down ship pop.

Speaker 6 (41:24):
Go ahead, Tony, And even though like we did call it,
it's like I don't want it to be confirmed and talk.

Speaker 3 (41:33):
Like ship pissed me off a little.

Speaker 1 (41:37):
So now we know they are Galactus. So now we
know they lose galact have to flee or something. But
that the only way they say the world or something.

Speaker 2 (41:44):
It's weird.

Speaker 3 (41:47):
That's weird, man.

Speaker 1 (41:49):
They sport the movie. Okay, we go get a quick
break with real quick and then we come back. We
do our final ratings of Thunderbox, all right, Tony, final
thoughts and raiding on the boats.

Speaker 2 (42:09):
All right.

Speaker 6 (42:10):
So when I think when I first left the theater,
it was probably like a six because I was feeling
like really underwhelmed. I was pretty it was like mid
I even told my buddy, I was like, man, that
movie was mid as hell. But now that I've talked
about it and realized, Okay, there was actually quite a
bit that I liked about it, and I'm really sat
with it, I'd probably give it. I'd bump that up
to like a seven. It's a solid watch for sure,

(42:32):
and it's definitely worth the watch too, Like the acting
is great, that the action scenes, even how few they are,
they're still pretty great. So it's still it's still worth
the ticket. It's still worth the watch.

Speaker 2 (42:44):
All right.

Speaker 5 (42:45):
Exabers Uh, yeah, I mean it's a good movie. Dre said,
definitely fill the episode. But they had their good moments.
I can't wait to see what we get from them
when we progressed through the MC can wait to see
how they fit. I feel like somebody's gonna die. I
just feel like somebody important is gonna die. I don't
know who, probably Bucky, I don't know who. So I

(43:06):
just feel like somebody's gonna die.

Speaker 3 (43:07):
But it has been a while since somebody important that.

Speaker 1 (43:11):
Yeah, I feel like it's bucket because they ain't using
that much in that movie, and I'm starting.

Speaker 2 (43:14):
To think.

Speaker 6 (43:16):
He's gonna get his own solo movie.

Speaker 1 (43:19):
Even though some of these movies will be a med too.
I like what Marvel doing he still need to do
to see how Marvel they don't do it? Like what
six seven solo movies before they even get into the Avengers.
They don't need so many solo movies and so many
solo stories and shows.

Speaker 3 (43:32):
It's getting. It's getting.

Speaker 2 (43:33):
We complained a lot, but they did. They still kind
of did the right thing to make us.

Speaker 1 (43:38):
I like how they been up the world. That's the
only way they could go without Cane for now, So
I like how they did this.

Speaker 4 (43:44):
I feel like this is damage control right now for
like all the wild ideas they had that they scrapped
but came.

Speaker 3 (43:51):
It's like, fuck, are we doing all of them now?

Speaker 2 (43:54):
But uh but I mean, like I said, I can't
wait to see how this progresses.

Speaker 5 (43:58):
Also, fun fact, they say the end credits scene was
filmed on the set of Avengers Doosday, so it may
be some connection there.

Speaker 2 (44:08):
I think, Uh, of course, I.

Speaker 6 (44:09):
Think it's well, yeah, because they're not going to show
up to Doomsday now. That's just we can't need that but.

Speaker 5 (44:15):
You know what I'm saying, I would say I thought
it was interesting that the final end credit scene was like, uh,
it's a piece of Avengers doosday.

Speaker 3 (44:22):
Because ain't they shoot film and there now?

Speaker 5 (44:24):
So that that was like exactly like that. I think
they filmed that like the first week of them filming.
But uh yeah, I said it's a good movie film episode.
It had its negatives that they I think it's fixable.
Uh again, I can't wait to see more from them.

Speaker 4 (44:39):
As what I'm saying, it's like mc us feel the episode,
but as a standalone just Marvel movie.

Speaker 3 (44:46):
Damn good. It's a great watch.

Speaker 4 (44:48):
It has great acting with some good moments, you know
what I mean over you know, like a good scruffy team.
And they had the Century. You know, I'm I'm I'm
already I'm a ride for Century regardless.

Speaker 2 (44:58):
So I give it an for me.

Speaker 1 (45:01):
This is the best movie they put out since Drunk.

Speaker 6 (45:03):
She inspider Man. Huh better than spider Man.

Speaker 1 (45:07):
Spider Man came out before something did it?

Speaker 3 (45:09):
It was after No, it was after Yeah. There was
like a couple of so she didn't spider Man. That
was like about they was back to back.

Speaker 1 (45:16):
But yeah, yeah, I'm gonna say I like this from
a little bit better than Spider Man. You know, I
like it a little bit better.

Speaker 3 (45:24):
I gotta go back and watch it.

Speaker 4 (45:25):
I gotta watch it one more time in Spider Man
had more ex I put it in the discord.

Speaker 1 (45:30):
Spider the one who told me whir them that?

Speaker 3 (45:34):
Which one was you thinking about?

Speaker 1 (45:36):
I think about Doctor Strala, oh multi verse a madness.
I was thinking about that movie. But yeah, Spider Man,
like I think Spider Man No Way Home better. But uh,
this is a good seven point five for me. Spider
Man know him better. But this was pretty good. It's
pretty good. You know. It was a feeler and they
spoiled some stuff. Pretty good. I like. I like the

(46:00):
direction they're going with them to you now, just they
had they had to pick a new directions. It's no
kin now like.

Speaker 2 (46:05):
I ain't giving my score.

Speaker 1 (46:06):
Kanks Donte was supposed to be the next movie.

Speaker 3 (46:08):
Right, yeah, you saw because the release date was.

Speaker 2 (46:11):
Like last week.

Speaker 3 (46:12):
It was last week.

Speaker 2 (46:13):
Yeah, yeah, all right, I ain't give my score.

Speaker 1 (46:16):
Score. Oh all right, let's go to the dojo.

Speaker 4 (46:19):
Now, all right, bomb, welcome, y'all, hire everybody doing, uh,
welcome to the Dojo as always when we talk about
all the game and stuff and stuff that's been going
on and what niggas been playing and whatnot. So you know,
I was born in ninety.

Speaker 3 (46:34):
Two, but like then, like I probably say, like late
era pre like when Xbox three sixty came out.

Speaker 4 (46:44):
And like p IS three, I was in band deep
off in the trenches then, So I wasn't like the
Cold Classic games, like I didn't play Mass Effect till the.

Speaker 3 (46:53):
Remaster, you know what I mean, A few of them
games I just accidentally missed.

Speaker 4 (46:57):
But but there's the real deal, just like came out
of nowhere, like we're trying to get some redemption.

Speaker 3 (47:04):
We know y'all still mad about Starfield.

Speaker 4 (47:06):
And they was like the worst kept secret ever was
the Oblivion remastering remake.

Speaker 3 (47:12):
But they randomly I appreciate.

Speaker 4 (47:14):
How they did it because they just did like, yeah, y'all,
we know y'all been hearing about it.

Speaker 3 (47:18):
We're doing a live stream about it tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (47:21):
And then at the end of the live stream, they
basically said, we know y'all weighing when it is coming.

Speaker 3 (47:26):
It's it's right now. You can go buy this right now, goodbye,
go by.

Speaker 1 (47:32):
Hey.

Speaker 3 (47:33):
I ain't gonna lie. They got me right there.

Speaker 4 (47:34):
I went about it about special edition, hey, and I
appreciate them because it was fifty dollars. They didn't do
that sixty seventy dollars than they fifty dollars. And you
know in this day and age, hey, they don't do that.
They don't do that a lot often. Now they're money hungry.
But I started, is everybody know. I started on Skyrim.

(47:54):
I played Skyrim, but I didn't never just like deep
diving Skyrim because that was that was on crap in
Dance next. So yeah, we didn't play PlayStation. We didn't
play games a lot, and I was on Guitar Hero
but duty. Yeah, so I went back and then I
ended up following when I when I left school, I
went in. I ended up getting Elder Scrolls online, and

(48:16):
I fell in love with that bitch because I lost
my life. And then like two years later they dropped
the Sky Remastered, and then I finally ran Sky completely
all the way. Damn, they're playing hum on PlayStation. But
I never would I never. Everybody kept telling me to
go play Oblivion. So I finally I finally got the
chance because I was like, damn, this shit came out

(48:37):
in No. Seven she but boy, hey, I ain't gonna lie.
I get why people some people be saying Oblivion is
the goat because I don't really because I don't know
what's changed and whatnot, so I can't really just be
like I know the old from the new, like I
do a lot of games, but as an Elder Squirrels game,
this is pretty nice. I like how they doing the

(48:58):
story because it's like thirty issue. It's like thirty some
years before SCOTM So I'm like, okay, I see how
when it comes to the Elder Scrolls you can piece together.

Speaker 3 (49:08):
The timeline of Evince and me doing stuff. Now. I'm like,
we're playing skyriman online.

Speaker 4 (49:13):
I'm like, oh, this is what they was talking about
from the Oblivion chrisis.

Speaker 3 (49:18):
It's okay, it makes sense now, and I just like
I just like Siri did.

Speaker 4 (49:24):
It's like a nice you know, just on me and
another part of Tambrio. So I'm like, hey, this is cool.
I get why everybody, like I get why everybody holds
this high regards highly regarded.

Speaker 3 (49:34):
I mean, so if you ain't ever played Skyrim, get
that remass.

Speaker 4 (49:37):
It's actually worth if you wanted them people with this
just the best we getting to the Elder Scroll seek
type shit.

Speaker 3 (49:43):
But oh yeah, on another note on some Elder Scroll
stuff they.

Speaker 4 (49:47):
Doing, like you know, each year they trying they do
an expansion, but this year, basically the expansion is the
entire year, so we didn't like we just got to
like part two.

Speaker 3 (49:56):
So if you were here, some nigga check that out.
It's pretty real.

Speaker 4 (50:01):
And I appreciate how they're doing that because they actually
going back and explaining the Elder Scrolls universe like.

Speaker 3 (50:07):
In the second era. Yeah, because it's kind of like
Lord of the Rings.

Speaker 4 (50:12):
It was like second it was like first era was
like primordial, No third ear Yeah, this third second era
was like humans was made like first came around and
then now when like it's third era, Well online is
it when all the wild Ship that explained the shit
that happened and the games happened. So it's like, oh,
you see why stuff is like this in the main

(50:33):
line the Elder Scrolls now because online.

Speaker 3 (50:35):
I appreciate it.

Speaker 4 (50:36):
I like this, I appreciate but those actually got there
when it comes to the world being Yet they did
that with the other scrolls. I can't never hold them
as the glitchy as their games is. They built the
shit out that world.

Speaker 6 (50:48):
But speaking of Lord of the Rings, I played Return
to Maria this week and.

Speaker 1 (50:54):
I love it.

Speaker 6 (50:57):
I cannot believe I have been sleeping on this game
all this time. You never played No No, No Return
Returnmorial like last year?

Speaker 3 (51:06):
Yeah, how did that one go? Okay?

Speaker 4 (51:12):
I ain't.

Speaker 3 (51:12):
I thought you was talking about the old old one. Shadow.

Speaker 6 (51:15):
No, no, you're not Shadow mor No? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (51:17):
No, how is it? Because I thought people said it.

Speaker 6 (51:20):
Was maybe well, I can't speak for launch, but right
now due it is. So, it's so good if you
want to go on it, if you were ever like
I want to be under Lord Gimli and I want
to claim the minds of Maria. This is your fucking game, bro,
because this makes you feel like it because you get

(51:41):
just get some friends, get some friends. I'm telling you, bro,
it is so. It is meant for friends. Because like
even when you're mining together, if you're if you're both
like a bunch of you are on the same mind,
you know, just start singing. They just start singing together.
All the story is voice acted by your characters, which
is great, and you're characters will interact with each other

(52:02):
in voice lines. I cannot think of another game that's
done that with custom characters, so check it out.

Speaker 3 (52:09):
Good.

Speaker 6 (52:11):
I'm still deep into that. I had to pull away
to play more Expedition in thirty three and I was like, Oh,
I kind of want to play more Lord of the
Rings though, but I think we're going to talk about
the Last of Us right.

Speaker 4 (52:23):
Oh yeah, So Snacks, then you say, oh god, you're muted,
So okay, my man, let me bring you in Snacks. Hello, Okay, So,
as y'all know I've been I do. I'll bingch watch
the Last of Us show. I played the games. Y'all
know how I'm whing when it comes to these type
of ships. But Snacks has never seen it. And if

(52:43):
y'all already know how shit go in the Last of
Us Part two, if you know, you know, that's the
best I can say.

Speaker 3 (52:50):
But you know, you know.

Speaker 4 (52:54):
Yeah, So, as y'all know, hey, I gotta start. We
gotta start making this actual section. So you know how
it'd be like when people watch a movie or something
it's based on a comic game.

Speaker 3 (53:05):
We gotta just let them be like, hey, what was
the difference.

Speaker 6 (53:08):
We gotta make that, so I don't read the comics.
I let ya, I'll let y'all explain things, and I
have questions.

Speaker 3 (53:14):
But so, what's that happened different so far that you
think it was different? So that just drove you.

Speaker 6 (53:19):
So now what are your questions?

Speaker 1 (53:21):
You don't know?

Speaker 3 (53:23):
No, I said, like, no, what what's in the show
that just be like I want to it's that different.

Speaker 5 (53:28):
I haven't got there yet. Last season I had those questions.
This it was just I was like, so Joel died
the same exact.

Speaker 3 (53:34):
Way, No, not the same, the same exact man.

Speaker 1 (53:38):
He got beat to deal with the club, but it
broken up and.

Speaker 4 (53:42):
It was Tommy when Tommy Tommy was with him in
the game. What's timing with him in the show?

Speaker 2 (53:47):
No, the chicken was with him, messic chicken was with him.

Speaker 1 (53:51):
They changed.

Speaker 3 (53:53):
Oh yeah, yeah that that ship never happened.

Speaker 1 (53:55):
They did. They did a whole something.

Speaker 2 (53:57):
I like that. Now. That scene was amazing. It was
I've been That's what I know.

Speaker 5 (54:02):
It's a zombie show and they're trying to not make
it focus too much on the zombies, but when they
do have a big horde of Zommie attacking and in
the city because I've been wanting to see because the
city is so well put together and everything so well
and so right that I wanted to see how they
handle about it. I like the attack playing them having
like different, you know, fucking layers to it and stuff

(54:22):
like that.

Speaker 2 (54:23):
I like that. That, like that was really good.

Speaker 3 (54:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (54:25):
But but Joe does die in the game.

Speaker 3 (54:27):
Yeah that made me mad.

Speaker 1 (54:28):
Everybody. Everybody was mad in the game too, just like you.

Speaker 2 (54:30):
Said, you mad. I don't even watch the show, but
I said.

Speaker 4 (54:34):
Wasn't how many people stopped playing the game right after
that Joe died and never went back.

Speaker 2 (54:39):
Because why what was your point of killing him? There
was no point of killing this nigga.

Speaker 3 (54:44):
We passed, So you still don't. You still don't know
why she did it.

Speaker 2 (54:48):
I know why she did it. I know why she
did it. I'm just saying right like they could have
overcame that.

Speaker 1 (54:53):
They did the movie story along. That's how they did.
That's the only way you're gonna have to last for
us too, Yeah, that was the only way that. But
how sad was when she was telling him to get
up and he was trying to get up when he
beat the dem Oh, yeah, that was sad. That's some
lion king ship. That was some lion king moved foster
ship right there.

Speaker 2 (55:08):
Bro.

Speaker 1 (55:10):
She like Joel, he was trying to get up, like man,
you see this man beat the dem white.

Speaker 2 (55:18):
That one said.

Speaker 1 (55:18):
That's why she from the first episode she started pissing
me off because she's going through this, I'm strong handle
this ship by myself.

Speaker 5 (55:25):
No, you can't, bitch, you cannot. We've seen this time
and time again. And then she's going on this, I
don't need Joel trying to fight people and stuff like that.
And then when it came down to it her chance
to save Joe, she found out she got her stupid
ass humble because she got asked like she couldn't do nothing.
She couldn't save Joe and she was smart. If she

(55:46):
was smart, she would have waited on Asian Nigga to come.

Speaker 1 (55:49):
Back up the fucking mountain with the herds and they
would have planned it out and they could have saved
him because she wasn't gonna kill him until Ellie came
in fucking shit up like she's just gonna let it
bleed out a little long so they had time to play. Yeah,
she like you, She like yes, maybe they handed another
fire like she fished me off so bad, so bad
the punk You see how she was punching them and

(56:10):
beating them to death, flavor, Abbam, they don't hit the same.
And in the game she on steroids, actual steroids, bru.
That's why.

Speaker 3 (56:21):
That's why I'm not just saying that Abby.

Speaker 1 (56:24):
I'm not saying that because she buffets, But she was
actually on stair watching game like.

Speaker 3 (56:29):
No, she did like she did, as built herself like
this to go kill Joe.

Speaker 6 (56:35):
Her whole thing is she made herself strong like that
so she could kill him like she washing.

Speaker 1 (56:40):
She objected her. But then bitch Princes two forty five,
that would be interesting. They didn't make it like that, and.

Speaker 3 (56:48):
It made her skinniest. Hell. That's why that's why I
was talking about when they finally meet up.

Speaker 1 (56:53):
Y'all know that.

Speaker 4 (56:54):
Y'all know the exact scene when she pieced the ship
up out of her ass and was like, hey, bitch,
I bet I see you know God damn mouth fuck
on that out of here, don't get and then Ellie had.

Speaker 3 (57:04):
I wanted and I feel so bad saying this.

Speaker 4 (57:07):
I want to see that moment because Ellie just got
a punchable face but it's not gonna hit the same
with little Abby, you know what I mean?

Speaker 5 (57:15):
God, Okay, I mean I feel like they would have
put that it made more sense because I'm like, this bitch,
why are they like they was acting way too.

Speaker 1 (57:23):
Scary, way more intimidating than the game because she she
like six feet fifty four off straight muscle in the games.

Speaker 4 (57:31):
And I could have got like a big body builder
bitch type ship and and I ain't gonna say it
can get dark.

Speaker 3 (57:36):
They could have did that.

Speaker 4 (57:37):
Same ship and did touch on one of them, you know,
buff niggas using steroids and ship.

Speaker 3 (57:43):
They could have used that on some like bigger message
and the show type ship. You see what I mean.

Speaker 4 (57:49):
They could have took it a whole deeper way because
I mean, yeah, that sex scene ain't gonna hit the
same what sex.

Speaker 1 (57:56):
Seen, nothing falling because I wish I would have told
me was gonna die once.

Speaker 2 (58:03):
I would have had.

Speaker 5 (58:08):
Yeah, like and then now she's galloping on this whole
adventure now with with with dumb dumb uh door to
explored with. Yeah, just stupid, bro, And like, bro, like
you didn't prepare for this at all. You just got
up and left like you just rashly like you didn't
train to.

Speaker 1 (58:26):
I'll be honest. I hate the story in the game too.

Speaker 4 (58:29):
I did the minute I figured she was Praig. That's
when I'm just like, nah, I canceled this ship. Say
like like then the ko ass home, like you're not
built like that. Then the Chinese nigga came like, bro
go with your baby daddy, let me go on my
revenge adventure type ship real quick. It was so many

(58:49):
bad decisions. I know y'all are young adults and ship,
but Jesus tap dance and christ Joe's your dad.

Speaker 1 (58:58):
He just wanted to ship the whole.

Speaker 2 (59:00):
No, I always don't it's gonna happen.

Speaker 5 (59:02):
I feel you don't know the bad I always felt
like somebody gonna pop up and save their ass and
gonna end up doing that.

Speaker 2 (59:12):
Okay, so you didn't.

Speaker 4 (59:14):
It's no, it's just a lot of stupid, the dumb
ass decisions. Yeah, you already you at the movie theater,
so it's finished.

Speaker 2 (59:22):
You st movie theater.

Speaker 3 (59:25):
No, No, so it's Finnish start happening.

Speaker 1 (59:29):
They don't move some stuff around in the game move
in the show, just to let you know what they do.

Speaker 3 (59:34):
Hit me with it.

Speaker 1 (59:35):
So they just they just not got away from the
soldiers soldier because they thought they were part of the scars.
They just got away from them, and you know, they
they uh, they went on the ground or whatever, you know,
they had to crawl space on the ground. But then
they got bit on there. So yeah, so that's how
Dina found out.

Speaker 3 (59:56):
She didn't know.

Speaker 2 (59:56):
It was stupid too already knew, no, she know, Yeah,
that's not the game.

Speaker 1 (01:00:01):
I don't remember if you knew in the game.

Speaker 3 (01:00:03):
But this ship okay, okay.

Speaker 1 (01:00:05):
So they'll move some stuff around. So I don't know
when the storyline you're talking about gonna pop in, right.

Speaker 3 (01:00:10):
Because you know, you know who pop up? But then
you know what happened then.

Speaker 1 (01:00:15):
So I don't go ahead, So I don't know when
they're gonna put that in the show. They a whole
bunch of storyline, right because you know, they.

Speaker 4 (01:00:23):
Were supposed to be going cross because what they wasn't
like they was in like they went across country.

Speaker 1 (01:00:28):
Dawn there they already see them.

Speaker 3 (01:00:30):
Now, yeah, okay that all this ship happened in.

Speaker 5 (01:00:39):
Washington in the Federal Agents. It gave me fucking flashbacks
to Spider Man. We had do them stupid ass Mary
Jane and we gotta sneak around?

Speaker 2 (01:00:48):
Was it like, I bet? I feel like it was
like that in the game where you had to sneak
around the agents. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:00:52):
Yeah, yeah, irritating little bit.

Speaker 1 (01:00:55):
That's why why they did it.

Speaker 3 (01:00:56):
In the show, they did, oh but random other ship
though my bad heard often.

Speaker 4 (01:01:01):
You know how it was that big ass battle at
the beginning too, when Joe died on the show. So
apparently I guess one of the niggas. Don't quote me,
I saw it. I saw it, don't like like the
internet type ship, but I was like looking it up.
Apparently that was because you remember how the last time
US were supposed to come out with that uh that
PvP ship that multiplayer game, they got canceled. Yeah, that's

(01:01:23):
the type of ship you were supposed to be able
to do on the game, and that was supposed to
be they like tie in for that, but it got canceled.
Don't quote me, but I was like, damn, that's a
nice I see what you did right there, because you
on the game, you're gonna be able to do ship
like that type ship, but it got canceled. That's that's
basically like the Concord episode on the secret level now

(01:01:45):
but my bad, keep going back.

Speaker 2 (01:01:47):
On my head. But yeah, but what what made it?
I think we gotta wrap Uh.

Speaker 5 (01:01:53):
What made it interesting though, was keeping me going is
the other villains that they putting in there, because the
like I said, the black dude, we have we have
c do acorn penis in the scene, but the black
dude torturing. I can't wait to see more from him
because I love the way he how That was a
good introduction. If he's a villain, that's a good introduction.
I like how they introduct because basically he just went

(01:02:14):
up and just poking Bernaes in the truck and he
taught to do it.

Speaker 2 (01:02:17):
Make it make a choice. But yeah, I like it.

Speaker 5 (01:02:22):
I can't wait to see what they do. I want
to see more about feder and also and okay, now
y'all tell me is like a buff bitch. Is kind
of makes me mad a little bit more.

Speaker 1 (01:02:31):
But it's not gonna have the same with Tim dating factor.
I don't know what they because they made it because
she seems Damsel in distress type and she's the exact opposite.

Speaker 6 (01:02:41):
What's weird is if they wanted to use the actress
like the same actress. They could have used the prostatics
a c G. I like it's been done. They have
the money, HBO has the money.

Speaker 5 (01:02:51):
Unless they're gonna make a buff when uh because it
doesn't get an ass b bar so.

Speaker 3 (01:02:59):
I don't see them and this is and see that's
what it don't is that scene is not going to
hit the same at.

Speaker 6 (01:03:05):
All because because her whole arc, her whole arc, revolves
around her how she is, like her her muscle mass,
like her body in general. The reason she's like that,
that's her supposed to be like her whole arc through
the game's her.

Speaker 3 (01:03:20):
She made herself brock lessening and how.

Speaker 6 (01:03:22):
She interacts with the people around her because of her decision.

Speaker 1 (01:03:25):
To do that.

Speaker 3 (01:03:28):
That's why.

Speaker 4 (01:03:29):
That's why her that's why her eggs got the other
bitch prag and now she's scared.

Speaker 3 (01:03:34):
Niggas was scared, like, don't beat my ass.

Speaker 1 (01:03:36):
How everybody was scared of why a y'all so scaredy
in the game. They scared of her for a reason.
I'm just look like bitch chi chillier than everybody in
the game.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
