more likable in this one.

movies is because of the comb I did not like
her in.

The especially page. I didn't like her character at the beginning,
just because of the coming books, Bro, and the character
acting just like her too.

I was like, Oh no, yes, all stuck up and
stuff and brash and stuff combooks too. She trying to
black lives matter front in Mouse Mouse Browns Tony. I'm
with you, bro, though she was a lot more like
war like. I enjoyed her. That's why I hadn't seen
on the water World. That's why I didn't see. That's
why the whole thing a lot more fun for me.

I was like, Oh, she actually liked it, but she
was singing and dancing and stuff. I like, okay, man,
get behind this, Captain Marble Brother, I keep behind this one,

What's the one that surprised you about this movie? Oh?
The end credit scene?

Okay, Yes, in credits did have a lot to do
with it had a lot of stakes.

They had a lot to do with the future of
the MCU.

I really liked the man because they going by the
usage from what I seen, and for.

Me, it made me understand the movie more because at first,
I mean I understood what was going on the movie,
but like I understand what the place was in the
mc U. And then at the end I was like,
oh okay, Because at first I was like, oh, this movie,
what's going on? And then I saw that I was
like okay, yes, and I squealed a little bit when
I saw beasts go on.

All right, Now we're gonna talk about a couple of
things people say they had problems with this movie and
see if I had the same problem.

First, we want to start out with the pacing. Tony,
did you have any problem with the pacing of this movie?

Speaker 1 (13:44):
Not really.

I kind of think it just it just it flowed,
it just went, it kept I would definitely say it
kept the same pace through the whole movie.

Speaker 4 (13:52):
I think, yeah.

Speaker 1 (13:54):
And it got right into it right, Tony, got right.

Speaker 6 (13:56):
It wasn't boring, it wasn't a lot of exposition, got
right into the fund in the stage.

Speaker 4 (14:00):
Little short, sweet and straight to the point. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (14:03):
Yeah, that's why I like they have a problem with
it because they said the pacer was off because it
was too much and the too everywork. But I liked
the pac Man. It's one of them ADHD films. Keep
you interested, man, You you weren't born or nothing. Man,
y'all convincing me. You convincing me. Another problem that people
said they had, they said this movie they have no stakes,
and uh, this is where different.

I'm like, what I mean by stakes? The plane with
the planet with it's get destroyed. What do you mean
didn't have those stakes?

I don't understand they like they didn't have those stakes
in more, I'm like the whole planet that she was
trying to take out Sun. Man, I don't know it
was stakes in the movie. To me, did you feel
like it wasn't tho stakes?

Uh? Yeah, I mean the Sun thing was pretty fucking serious.
I feel like they like, no, yeah, yeah, yeah, something
is serious.

We had just watched the scrolls planning to get destroyed. Man,
you understand what they.

Mean when they had to leave people. They had to
freaking lead people on the planet. That was the craziest
part right there.

Speaker 5 (14:57):
Maybe it's because when it comes to that, they're like, oh,
it didn't stick to it too long. You know how
most villains have like an overarching plan just straight up
right from the beginning. You know it, but in this
one you don't learn about it until midway through the movie,
where she's like, oh, I'm going after the Earth sun man.

That's maybe maybe that's what people don't like about it.

Well, I found out she was on vegans, but I don't.
I'm trying to talk. Go ahead, you are.

Who is the big bad in this one? There were
definitely sticks. What you need, my nigga, get anything, my

This is the last question before we get into the
meat of the the review apply and stuff. Did you
think this move was better or worse than the first model?
So you remember the first one made a bit of
first in this mark, the first one made a billion dollars.

A shame because they are doing awful and opening weekend.

Out word of mauth gonna happen because people might see
the movie now because you know, you know how people
when other audiences go see it, they might go see
it after.

how good word math.

Also, the first movie made so much money because it
came out I think like a year after in game,
and in Game was our first time seeing Captain Marble,
and she was like, yeah, she did wave hard as
hell too. But the second one was definitely better, so
like it had more to it. It had a lot
more to it than the first one. It was just
more fun to me in general.

Okay, so this whole movie, the whole problem of this
movie is that that Captain Marvel destroyed the Supreme Intelligence.
That led to a war between the Creek. So that's
what the whole problem this starts. She destroyed the Supreme Intelligence.
The crew went to civil war, and it destroyed their
planet because they lost The sun is dying, they have

no water, the oxygen, the oxygen is poisonous.

All this stuff is happening on the planet on the
Cree planet is the Krea.

Speaker 4 (17:26):
Is getting real bad. Wait, so you mean to tell
me this Nigga fall Ai instead of the Civil War? Yep, yeah, yep,
all right, all right, this sounds familiar.

Speaker 6 (17:46):
But you but, uh, this problem the only problem I have,
the one of the three problems I have, Like they
didn't flesh out to the Supreme intelligencesire and stuff that
you really don't know that much about it.

You know, she destroyed it. The crew went to Civil
War like background stuff is not too expensive. But I
know they tried to stream not the movie, so like that. Xavier,
what do you think about this plot?

Borm Yeah, because I was wondering where she came from.
Man to explained it. It was kind of short, but
I kind of see why I was short of the movie.
They probably couldn't fit everything in there, but uh, this decent,
decent plot.

Boy. The big bad name is Dark Being. If everybody
want to know, Dark Being said dark Bend. She's the
leader of the She's the new leader of the Creed.

But she uh just starts she's in the space and
she finds this, uh, the other quantum band, the second
quantum band, because you know, Kamala Kuhn only had one
of the quantum bands her grandmother game or whatever. So
the other one gets found in space and that's how
she starts to get some powers. Dark bands starts to
get the powers and starts she starts whacking off other planets. Man,
she starts taking the taking the natural resources from other

planets to give to the Cree planet.

So so she crazy.

Trying to save her planet.

Speaker 4 (19:01):
Yeah, they escalator, go ahead. It makes sense because she's
trying to save her plan. So she actually have an actual, actual.

Like reason to be a villain and the whole I
like half of the Marvel villains, but I wish I
wish they would have showed her more in the movie
and stuff like that.

But you think, do you think our motivations made sense, Tony?

Not really, I would say it's not really Like, Okay,
it does, but like I feel like it could have
used a little more exposition.

Though, That's my own problem, because I think she could
have been a good villain if you had more exposition
and explained that you had more time with her in
the movie.

She was barely the movie movies.

She was rarely in the movie for sure.

Yeah, it was focused around the marbles and building their
relationship and stuff, So you never really got to see
dark Being really do a thing.

She had a universal repon and everything. Man was you
was expecting to see her more in the movie, but
you really didn't.

Speaker 4 (19:51):
This is telling me like a Disney's No Way Home
with Marvels.

Did you understand all the time you wind me quantum
stuff that they were doing in this movie? They didn't
confuse you, because a lot of people say this confused them,
but he did confuse you at all.

I'm always able to follow because I read the common books.
It's not hollest time of one of stuff is not
confusing to me. I know what's going on. It was
confused the like I said, it was like during the movie,
I was confused, but when like the end it came
and then then credits scenes, Okay, everything's starting to make
sense now.

Did you have a problem with the quantum stuff, the
sign stuff.

I thought it was presented pretty well. But you know,

your favorite marvel Oh, Kamala Kuhn. She's my favorite in
the comic books and in live action. That girl does
a good job at playing Kamala Kuhn because that's like
she she gives you hope, and that's how she was

That was my favorite Marble Tony, did you have a
favorite Marble Man? I want to I'm gonna have to agree.
I think Kamala Khan definitely stood out here. But I
also think it's because I feel like Monica had like
no time in this movie.

I feel like they had all through them got their
little shan in this movie.

I think they did that too. It makes her stood out.

pushing other New Avengers, the Young Avenges, all this stuff
they kind of pushing up, man.

So I understand why she got the motion.

But uh, I actually my favorite character in the movie,
the favorite Marble was actually Captain Mall.

They did a three six on her chater Carroll Downs,
I did a three six on her character. Man, she
was actually enjoyable. Man.

when she had that white wife beater type shirt on
and them things just sitting there.

using the scarf and then you go to the other

was put a lot of put a lot together. So yeah,
the fight scenes was top tier, and I like how
they did it because usually when you have super we
have heroes like this, they it's cgi saturated.

It's heavy CGI fights, and they took that aspect out
of these like hand to hand come back, and they
actually did a really good job of making it blend

So they get to the loom, he unlocks it and
they send him in and this man gets disintegrated.

Overstate the shock I was in here, like they had
the music welling up for hopeful, oh you know, and
then he steps outside and.

So that whole episode ends, and we get to now
Loki's time slipping again. Everything's falling apart. The timelines are
all disintegrating because there's just too many, and Loki's time
slipping to other branching timelines where he kind of meets

his variants of his friends, and we.

And there's a lot more expertition trying that, just when
he was trying to figure out how the time slip. Yeah,
so and then he figured out how to go back
and find everybody. He just realized he couldn't find like
everybody else because he was gone real quick. He couldn't
get to that point. So he time slips and got
everybody from a different time because it was like, I

guess all of them had to be together. But the
energy is to work yeah, if I'm not mistaken. And
then and then that ends up being like feudile, like
he can't do anything with it because it's too late.
The timeline starts disintegrating. They all start disappearing right in
front of him.

They get fanos, like, they don't get all torn up
and ribboned, they get they just dissolve. And this is
where he slowly starts to realize like, Okay, this isn't
this isn't working, And he does learn to controls time slipping,
and so he goes back and he tucks or boros.
He's like, what could we have done? And he's like, well,

it was too late. So he keeps trying to go
back and do it faster and do it faster, and
then he's like, well, I'm just gonna do it myself.
So he spends literally centuries learning the physics, yeah, dying
and learning physics just so he can go back to
the earliest point. He can bring Victor timely in there

and handhold him all the way through the thing. And
it makes it makes you wonder like how many times
did he do it? Because he like he's like guiding.

a moment, and then it just you realize it's starting
to fail again. So Victor tells him it's a scaling
issue because there's no way to loom the infinite. There's

just no ways, no limit like master p. So no
matter what they did with the throughput or try to
magnify it, there's just no way they could do anything.
And I believe here Sylvie or someone mentions that they
wish they could go back to when it all started,
and so Loki time slips back to where Sylvie kills

King or he kills he who remains, and he tries
multiple times to stop her and eventually gets he who
remains to speak to him, And this is where you
find out he who remains is like, well, who do
you think paved this road for you? To come back,
and you find out it was all like his plan,

so that Loki would end up right back there so
that he could become so he could stop Sylvie and
basically preserve the timeline, because he finds out that the
Loom is not meant to just weave infinite branches. It's
only meant to preserve the sacred Timeline, and so no
matter what, it'll always destroy the other timelines and the

TVA is just collateral damage. Yeah, He's like, yeah, we'll
just rebuild it.

It's fine.

And Loki has a moment here where he sees the
board where he basically has all his equations down and
he's like, well, I'm going to destroy the Loom. I
can do it better. And Kang tries to warn him,
yeah exactly, and King tries to tell him like, oh,
but if you do that, you know you're going to
bring multiversal war and none of you are ready for that, and.

He's again built different exactly.

So after all that, he goes back he destroys the Loom,
and this part here is the best visual storytelling I
think I've ever seen from Marvel, Like Loki picking up
all the dead timelines, weaving them back together and attaching
them to him because he just refuses to let any
of them go. And then he gets up onto the

ruins of where He who Remains was and takes the
throne at the end of time, and he becomes the
new timekeeper, and he's created exercill And the imagery here
is like you can see at the bottom all the
dead timelines, and then right in the center where he is,
they're all being woven together and like blossoming out at

the top.
