Speaker 7 (01:16):
It's good to be back. How is everybody doing good?

Speaker 1 (01:20):
Doing good?

Speaker 5 (01:20):
Don't always good with Big Bro?

Speaker 6 (01:25):
Yeah flavored like that lesson Holly flavored. I love that.
I'm putting that on a shirt.

Speaker 4 (01:34):
So what's been going on? We always start with our guests.
How's we going? I mean, I know you've been doing
a lot of you know, production work and stuff like that.

Speaker 7 (01:43):
Yeah. Crazy crazy. I'm going to be at Blurdcown next
week with line Forge. I am actually working with the
marketing team on Eanu, the animated series coming to Cartoon
Networking Max on April fifth and sixth. So I'm really
excited at line Forge produced the entire thing. It's based
on Boykoupased graphic novel Child of wonder Uh.

Speaker 6 (02:04):
It is a Nigerian based comic.

Speaker 7 (02:08):
Book and the entire cast is African, and it it's
in English, but the entire cast is African. And I'm
excited because I don't think people realize that it's done
two D animation style, so it's gonna look a lot
like anime. It is made for kids, but it's sort
of like so was you know, Steven Universe was also being.

Speaker 6 (02:28):
Skits and how many you know how many two D animation,
So like.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
It's like it got real, you got adult, it got
the adult themes, but it stick and appears to the kids.

Speaker 6 (02:39):
Yes, exactly exactly.

Speaker 7 (02:41):
And the and when I say two D, like the
like friendly neighborhood spider Man, that's three D two D
is more like yeah, or attack on Titan or you
know Castlevania.

Speaker 5 (02:56):
You know.

Speaker 7 (02:57):
So I'm really excited about it. It's also a lot
of work, but we're actually sponsoring uh uh blur Con,
so we have like panels and we're gonna have some
voice actors and we're gonna be sharing some exclusive content
from the show and stuff. So I'm really really excited
and I'm gonna see Honestly, it's also my first time
going to Blurcon, which is very weird, but it really

(03:17):
yeah really yeah, I haven't been, and it's something has
always happened every time I wanted to go, Like either
I was booked on something else or like whatever they
kept we come up with the date date was always
in the like competing with something else. And for this
it took me having to work for somebody that I'm like,
all right, we're gonna actually go and sponsor for me

(03:37):
to actually attend, Will y'all be the choice, y'all be
a blurcom while I.

Speaker 5 (03:41):
See you next year that year mark my words.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
God damn it, I'm in fucking I'm bringing Tony. I'm
a kid. It's been three years. We have fucking been
gon returning. Okay, no third one was gone.

Speaker 7 (04:00):
Okay, so Tony's like, I don't know about.

Speaker 5 (04:02):
That, man, but we've been going for too long.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
We got to hit up the dispensary again. We going
in this bitch because it's been a while.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
A reason why we missed it this year is because
last Yeah, we gotta stop playing right now. They moved
the day it gets a lot now is in March.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Go ahead, my bed.

Speaker 8 (04:23):
March is really inconvenient March, is it?

Speaker 7 (04:25):
I know a lot of other people who can't come
because it's Emerald City Comic CON's the same weekends and
so a lot of other conventions. So yeah, they when
they moved it up. We were lucky because it was
right in the window of our launch. But yeah, we
didn't go last year because we were at San Diego
and it was at the same time as San Diego.

Speaker 6 (04:44):
So I'm excited. It's it's gonna be a lot of fun.

Speaker 7 (04:48):
But I've been doing that, and then when I'm not
marketing and stuff like that, I have done some journalism,
which is great. I've been I'm still a correspondent for
Rotten Tomatoes. So I got to into you the cast
of Uh. I got to interview the cast of Severance.
We were just talking about that, and I also got

(05:09):
to I don't know if it's up yet or not,
but I got to talk to Robert de Niro, which
is kind of cool. I got to interview him and
a bunch of other amazing actors for a series or
that dropped on Netflix last week called Zero Day, which if.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
You have to talk to Robert, I want to.

Speaker 6 (05:29):
I don't know about that because I'm tired a lot.
Minus the strip, yes, minus triple taxes.

Speaker 7 (05:37):
But yeah, I'm honestly compared to I will say I
am very happy and what we said blessed and highly
flavored to be busy so that I don't have to
constantly look at the news cycle and freak out as
the like what's happening in this country? So I'm happy
to be busy as supposed to be home low key

(05:57):
freaking out about everything.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
So I do have one.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
I just had because we reviewed Captain America last week,
and I love to get your intake, I mean, your
your insight on movies that we reviewed already, because you
can give good insight. So what what did you think
of Captain America? Before we move on? What'd you think?

Speaker 6 (06:15):
Two things?

Speaker 7 (06:16):
One disclaimer, I also saw Captain Captain America on a
cruise because I was invited to a Disney That's some of.

Speaker 5 (06:24):
The most experience.

Speaker 6 (06:29):
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (06:30):
So you was around Disney adults.

Speaker 6 (06:33):
Yeah, but I will. But here's the thing. I'm going
to do two things.

Speaker 7 (06:35):
I'm going to talk about the people around me what
they thought, and then I want to talk about what
I saw. So there's also there's also multiple layers to
this because I saw a chunk of the film a
year ago, and the chunk that I saw was not
in the final edit because I was at CinemaCon last year,
and there was like a five minute clip that was
shown and I'm like, half of this is not in

(06:57):
the movie. Why.

Speaker 6 (06:58):
So one of the.

Speaker 7 (06:59):
Things I will say is it's not that. Is that
so much of the original film? Yes, And you know
how they say life imitates to arts and things like art.
So there was several The clip I saw which never
made it to the final cut or was edited out,
was there were several super super soldiers who started shooting

(07:21):
at the president, not just Isaiah, so you saw how
they were fighting other people, but actually all of them
store them that's what made the glass break, not Isaiah's.
So they cut that out because basically they cut that
out after someone tried to shoot at Trump, so that

(07:41):
scene was not as climactic because it was like the
glass bulletproof and then all of a sudden it wasn't.

Speaker 6 (07:47):
It was very bizarre.

Speaker 7 (07:48):
So yeah, that was one thing. And then there was
another thing with the girl, the little Short woman who's
part of the Red Room. She is actually based on
and is rare comic character who was anti Palestinian and
was very heavily in the comics anti Palestinian. So they

(08:09):
had to dial her way back and unfortunately a lot
of her scenes were also with Anthony mackew scenes, So
what I felt we saw was an edited down version
of what we were supposed to see at the same time.

Speaker 6 (08:23):
Excuse me.

Speaker 7 (08:24):
So what I tried to do was I was like,
all right, I'm gonna try and pretend I don't know
all of that and just watch the film. I personally,
if I was not a Marvel fan and I was
just excuse me. If I was just watching the show,
watching the movie, you know, with my friends or my kids,
and I didn't know that much about the comics or
anything else, I.

Speaker 6 (08:41):
Wouldn't think it's that bad.

Speaker 7 (08:43):
It looks it felt like a continuation a Falcon in
the Winter Soldier, like another episode. I felt it should
have been like an episode. It wasn't terrible, but if
you look at what it was supposed to be and
how it's leaning into the next phase of Marvel, I'm like, this,
ain't it.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
Now?

Speaker 6 (08:58):
Here's the other thing which is very interesting to me.

Speaker 7 (09:01):
I don't I still don't know why this is the
start of this phase. Because Thunderbolts, I can't tell you
what I know, but Thunderbolts is going to be amazing.

Speaker 5 (09:13):
Oh wow.

Speaker 6 (09:13):
And they should have led with Thunderbolts.

Speaker 5 (09:16):
You misbuilding an avengest team. You can't leave with Dunderbolts.

Speaker 6 (09:18):
That's the thing. But here's but here's the thing. Here,
here's the thing. Here is the thing.

Speaker 5 (09:25):
We know.

Speaker 7 (09:26):
There's so many things that are intertwined in that. But
I really feel like Captain America, it is not It
has nothing to do with Anthony Mackin did a great job.

Speaker 6 (09:35):
All the people in this movie did a great job.

Speaker 7 (09:38):
Harrison for I knew there was going to be a
problem when they released Harrison Ford as the Red Hulk
in commercial. I was like, you don't do that unless
something's wrong. And what I felt was in terms of
the storytelling, it felt very, very edited down based on
the I didn't see the whole film. I'd seen a
chunk of it, and it felt like it had a

(09:59):
really nice pain. But unfortunately, because so much of our
entertainment is now anything political about you, Yes, they had
to edit it down for audiences because they didn't want
to look like it was okay to shoot at the
president and okay to be anti Palestinian and okay, which
is all right, but I felt like they should have

(10:19):
done more reshoots to edit it and make it more
cohesive as opposed to betting the farm on the Red
Hulk because the other the other problem with that is
and again this is for people who don't know. If
you're not a regular Marvel fan, you don't realize that
they don't own the Hulp.

Speaker 6 (10:36):
Universal owns the Hope.

Speaker 7 (10:38):
Universal owned, so the only Hope they own is Red Hup,
and that was why they introduced him, because it can't
Mark Ruffalo said this a while ago. He's like, I
wish I could get a whole movie, but they're never
going to do it because Universal is holding onto that character.

Speaker 6 (10:51):
So that it should because the only person who should
have been fighting Red Hulk was the Hulk.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
That's what I said.

Speaker 7 (10:59):
I say, but there's no they don't own it. And
it's the same thing with Spider Man. It's the same
thing with a lot of so I don't know. I
I thought it was good for what they had to
had to edit it down to. Couldn't have been better, yes,
but there was no way around that because of how
many things had to be taken out of the film.

(11:20):
And so I still think they should have led with Thunderbolts.
I really need to see Blade back on that schedule.
I'm mad that they canceled a Koya and that's all
I'm gonna say about.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
They don't know how to just make a sepal storeres.

Speaker 5 (11:36):
You have to leave with Captain America in.

Speaker 1 (11:37):
The new.

Speaker 6 (11:41):
You do I just but I will say this.

Speaker 7 (11:43):
I'm happy that I'm a Carl Lovey I'm an old
Carl Lovely fan, and I thought he did a great job.
And I feel bad that we couldn't see more of
his development on screen because of I think some of.

Speaker 6 (11:57):
That got chopped out too. So that's my that's my thoughts.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
But Thunderbolts, Hey, I can't wait to see it now
that you.

Speaker 3 (12:05):
Said that enthusiasm made me want to, you know what,
I was on the fence, But the fact that you
hit the oh.

Speaker 7 (12:12):
Yeah, all right, listen, I'll put it you this way,
the way I think I can say this much.

Speaker 6 (12:17):
You know, we all know that Captain America had a
bunch of reshoots and re edits or whatever. Thunderbolts has
hardly any I heard that everybody, all the higher ups
at Marvel is show pleased with this film. Now, could
it still suck, sure, but what I have seen does
not suck.

Speaker 5 (12:35):
Coinperate wise, they've been flowed so good.

Speaker 3 (12:37):
They was like, hell, yeah, nobody's said changed this or
none of that.

Speaker 6 (12:41):
And also Marvel is good.

Speaker 7 (12:43):
And I hate to say it because I like how
Marvel is so diverse and has so many different kinds
of characters for all kinds of you know, age groups,
racist ethnicities.

Speaker 6 (12:53):
But because the general public is so sis head, white
male and angry right now, they're going to like it
because it goes in that direction. That's the other, that's
the other.

Speaker 7 (13:05):
It's gonna be a good story, but also it feeds
a lot of the social media that they're trying to
get back.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
You know.

Speaker 7 (13:14):
The only other thing I don't agree with, and I've
been very vocal about this, is I don't think I
don't think Robert Downey Junior should be coming back to
the job.

Speaker 5 (13:27):
I mean, I'm okay with it because I'll.

Speaker 6 (13:30):
Tell you why if if.

Speaker 7 (13:33):
Because they're not going to do Tony Stark being doomed
in another alternate universe.

Speaker 6 (13:39):
I want them to do that, but I don't think
that's what they're doing.

Speaker 1 (13:42):
He's gonna be actual Victor v On Doom And.

Speaker 7 (13:45):
I'm like, why if you don't, If you don't use
the comic if they're not going to do the comic version,
which has the story all right there, why.

Speaker 6 (13:53):
Are we doing this?

Speaker 1 (13:54):
Okay, that makes sense.

Speaker 7 (13:55):
So if that gets changed, maybe that information that I
have is wrong.

Speaker 6 (14:00):
I don't want anybody quoting me on that. Maybe I'm wrong.

Speaker 7 (14:02):
Maybe they are going to do the Tony Stark version
of him becoming Doom in the alternate universe.

Speaker 6 (14:08):
But I'm tired of the alternate universe.

Speaker 7 (14:10):
Because it's like, you fall in love with the character
and they can say, oh, but they don't really exist.

Speaker 6 (14:14):
What universe are we in?

Speaker 5 (14:16):
Who said it?

Speaker 1 (14:17):
Like?

Speaker 5 (14:17):
Bro, it's like we've done.

Speaker 3 (14:19):
This multi version all right, it's over, Like, can we stop?

Speaker 7 (14:24):
Because I mean, that's why they That's why Sony did.
That's why Sony had uh when they did that crossover
with all the Spider Man and and uh strange. He
had to forget everybody so that they no one has
to they wreckton the whole thing so that they can
now start anew on our side.

Speaker 6 (14:42):
Just give me X men, please to be Just give
me my live action X Men and stop.

Speaker 5 (14:50):
Stop.

Speaker 6 (14:52):
We're over this now, bro, Yeah, I'm tired.

Speaker 5 (14:55):
You know something you hit a miss just being honesty.

Speaker 7 (14:59):
I I just want Marvel to do the X Men.
I don't want Sony to do it.

Speaker 5 (15:03):
Marvel.

Speaker 9 (15:05):
Yeah, like I said, Marvel could be hit about with
the X Men, specially with X Men.

Speaker 5 (15:10):
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (15:11):
My thing is when we saw that last movie, that
last X Men movie came out and they had Storms
standing there with an umbrella, I was like, I'm done.

Speaker 5 (15:19):
That's not X Men ninety seven did give me home.

Speaker 6 (15:21):
That's X Men ninety seven was amazing.

Speaker 7 (15:23):
I just wish they could get the animation team to
write for the live action team.

Speaker 5 (15:27):
That's all they gotta do.

Speaker 3 (15:28):
I got one last question tail Killer and stopped standing
super like lude goddamn Twitter post.

Speaker 1 (15:34):
That's what about?

Speaker 4 (15:34):
To ask what did you do you hear about the
bauda male situation? What did you think about that?

Speaker 6 (15:38):
I did hear about the bout Deman situation?

Speaker 7 (15:40):
And I also saw the video that he posted like
a couple of weeks ago. He did he has a
whole channel now on YouTube, and he posted his first
video about a week or two ago and it was
breaking down how he said he was systematically attacked. Now,
he said, I have had my shirt off on social
media and not my whole body my shirt off four
years and no one had a problem with that when

(16:02):
they hired me to do this show. What they had
a problem with was when he started. He's saying that
when he started to complain to management about how he
and other members of his team were being treated by
some older members of the animation staff, that's when the
trouble started. And when there was a there was a

(16:23):
he said, there's a female member on his team that
was being harassed, and he stood up for her, and
that is when more stuff started to happen.

Speaker 6 (16:32):
So I'm the he said everything.

Speaker 7 (16:34):
He's saying that everything that they're accusing him of didn't happen.
He didn't touch anybody, he and talk to anybody. All
the stuff that they're saying happened.

Speaker 6 (16:43):
He said. It was just basically systematic to get him
out because he was sticking up for his team and
they didn't like that.

Speaker 7 (16:49):
They were like, stay in your lane, you know, or else,
And so I I when everybody said, oh, it was
the only fans or whatever, I'm like, yeah, I mean,
here's the thing, but if you had the only fans
before they hired him, that's on them and so and everybody.
I don't know, I've seen with his shirt off on
social media for years. That's not new, I was gonna say,

(17:12):
But I did have my eyes opened when I listened
to his It's about an hour and a half.

Speaker 6 (17:19):
It's long. It took a ninety minute YouTube video.

Speaker 7 (17:23):
And he said he's going to and and he said
he wasn't allowed. He couldn't do the video until his
lawyer had clearance. And his lawyer now gave him clearance
because they have the evidence.

Speaker 6 (17:33):
So I was like, interesting, Yeah, but here's the thing.
I believe.

Speaker 7 (17:39):
I believe the victims. I'm just trying to get clearance
on who the victims are because I feel for the
girl that he was saying he stood up for that.
They're now saying he was the problem for. So whoever
the victims are, I believe them. But I also believe
that there is systematic racism embedded in so and so

(18:00):
I do. Where I'm at is there's truth in here somewhere,
And I don't think we're gonna know, like like Gene
Hackman's death, we're not going to know for a minute.

Speaker 4 (18:09):
Well that's crazy, that is still But they say they
found his wife in the bathroom floor.

Speaker 7 (18:15):
No, no, there's there's three things with that, and I'm
going to tell you I actually don't think it's foul play,
and I'll tell you what I think it is. And
this is just coming from somebody who's had to be
around elders that have dementia. I don't I don't think
it's a conspiracy. It's kind of all there. So basically

(18:36):
the news that they let out about Gene Hackman, for
those of you who don't don't know what we're talking about,
Gene Mackman and his wife died, were found dead in
their home. The dog was also dead. The door was
slightly open, I think, to the house. So everybody was saying, oh,
it's probably carbon monox side. They have ruled out carbon
man out side. Let me explain what I think happened.

(18:56):
They thank you, Well, it could be carbon rossacuse people
could die and they're.

Speaker 6 (19:01):
Sleep that white fit. No, no, no, they could have
if you faulted.

Speaker 7 (19:06):
They moved into the house and it was new and
it could have been faulty heater.

Speaker 6 (19:12):
In the house.

Speaker 7 (19:13):
But here's the thing. She was found in the bathroom. Yes,
the repels next were He was found in their mud room,
which is basically where you a room that where you
just take your shoes off and your boots and your
coats are so it's like the yeah, the back of
the house.

Speaker 6 (19:27):
Probably so. And one one of the dogs, they have
three dogs. One of the dogs was dead. So here's
my thought.

Speaker 7 (19:33):
They said yesterday on the news that his wife was mummified,
meaning naturally mummified. And the only way you can be
mummified naturally is if the if the body is exposed
to humidity for about six to ten months.

Speaker 6 (19:49):
It's not a quick process.

Speaker 7 (19:50):
They've been dead for a wife, right, No, but wait,
she was mummified.

Speaker 6 (19:56):
He was not, which means she he died first.

Speaker 7 (20:00):
And remember the pictures that we saw, the pictures that
we saw of him last year, he looked feeble. Remember, So,
if we're dealing with a ninety five year old band
that has dementia, that is, and she's his caretaker, and
she either has a heart attack or falls and hits
her head or something in the bathroom. Maybe she was
going to get her pills, you know, because she had
chest pains or something, she dies. But if he has dementia,

(20:23):
he doesn't know what time it is, what day it is.
He's walking around the house calling for he wouldn't remember
to feed the dog, She wouldn't remember to feed himself,
he wouldn't.

Speaker 6 (20:32):
Know how to call nine friend that.

Speaker 7 (20:34):
I have been around people elders who have this type
of dementia and they cannot be by themselves. So if
they isolated themselves like this, family members were clearly not
checking on them and she died eight six months ago.
He might have died simply because he forgot to feed himself.
He might have got fainted and just never got up

(20:55):
or hit his head. The dog might have died that
way too. The other two dogs that were not we're outside.
I personally think that they left and would find food
and just came back to the only.

Speaker 6 (21:06):
Home they knew.

Speaker 7 (21:08):
And I know this is all conspiracy theory or whatever,
but if you look at it from a dementia standpoint,
I think it's a very sad story and that it's
not murder.

Speaker 1 (21:17):
Yeah, the way you break it down makes sense.

Speaker 7 (21:18):
When they said she was MoMA fined and he wasn't,
I'm like, no, that can't happen quickly.

Speaker 5 (21:24):
That's not yet. That ain't the work it off.

Speaker 4 (21:26):
But hopefully by the time the episode comes out there
they'll have uh it all squeared away, but it sounds
like you're on the right track.

Speaker 6 (21:33):
That's gonna be it.

Speaker 7 (21:33):
That's gonna be a lifetime movie at some point, because hey.

Speaker 3 (21:37):
Make sure you get on the on that documentary. You
gotta be there.

Speaker 1 (21:41):
Well, we gotta go to a Krek break.

Speaker 4 (21:42):
When we come back, we'll tell you about our weeks
and we're gonna move on to some Spider Man review
after this.

Speaker 1 (21:49):
And we are back, dre. How's your week?

Speaker 3 (21:51):
I got a day job again, y'all. So we're backstreaming
on evening. But I beat Jedi Survival, all right, This
is all right, just like I'm trying to do it.
So you know how Kathleen Kennedy fucked up the entire
Old Republic. Jedi Survivor actually had a good moment where
they integrated the High Republic shit, and everybody knows how
I'm with my old Star Wars slow.

Speaker 5 (22:13):
I don't give fuck. I hate it like night night.

Speaker 3 (22:16):
I mean, not like I love the Old Republic, but
how Disney did the Old Republic when they just made
damn that twenty years of books none Cannon Revend is
still my favorite Jedi. I don't give fuck. He's the
only nigga to go to be a light side nigga.
Go to the dark side, go back to the light side.
Jah use the force to bring itself back alive to

(22:38):
kill the Emperor that was already dead for one hundred years.

Speaker 5 (22:41):
You can't, hey, that's called the termin goddamnation.

Speaker 3 (22:45):
But but Jedi Surviva actually did make it like if
that's how y'all want to do that little area. But
because of the acto like kind of fucking it up,
they kind of messed up the high republic image of
how Disney wanted to do it. But Jedi Survivor actually
made like, Okay, this is a nice little if this
is how y'all did this, like that one random mamma

(23:05):
when because everybody knows Jedi like the downfall of the
Jedi before like Darth baiting ship.

Speaker 5 (23:10):
But it's like we never kind of got it. But
the way they did it.

Speaker 3 (23:13):
Is about actually that I appreciate it, and I do
love cal Cat that's Jedi because I will forever look
at him as a dude from uh shiit what's what's
the damn Netflix show was a British one in the
uh Cat.

Speaker 5 (23:27):
Off No, not the office.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
The other one where they had the bar and it
was like the British people and the and they had
the one black son.

Speaker 6 (23:36):
Wait now I want to know what this show?

Speaker 1 (23:39):
Hello Helloa la hola.

Speaker 3 (23:40):
I gotta looked at on the like because brou because
my little sister put me on it and that was
like one of the first British shows that she actually
liked it. You know, It's one of them moments she
was like, bro, this show is like Cameron Monighan.

Speaker 6 (23:52):
I haven't watched that Shameless, oh Shameless, okay, okay.

Speaker 3 (23:57):
Like I always remember him from Shameless and now he's
literally one of the greatest Jedi masters during the follow.

Speaker 6 (24:05):
I wasn't ready for that connection.

Speaker 5 (24:06):
Wow, Norse American version of that exactly. See.

Speaker 3 (24:09):
I saw the British version first, which is crazy because
that's how I always remembered him because I was like, bro,
let's do the same, but the way he acted them
for straight and we all and like the Depora uh
depra from Man TV.

Speaker 6 (24:21):
From Yes, I know what you're talking about, all of them.

Speaker 5 (24:25):
Yeah, She's like the acting in that game is pete.

Speaker 3 (24:29):
I will forever say that, like it kills half for
the Star Wars Disney Ship that we've had, but I
appreciate because I finally ran it. I finally did another.
Y'all know, I'm a one week demon. I beat that
bitch in three days and I was at work. But
great games, like, I appreciate it.

Speaker 7 (24:44):
You must know how to stop time, because I don't
know how you did that.

Speaker 3 (24:47):
I worked from sixty two then I streamed for like
eight hours.

Speaker 5 (24:51):
Then I go to sleep.

Speaker 7 (24:52):
Okay, so then eight hours. That's what it is. Your
job is streaming, That's what it is.

Speaker 3 (24:56):
It is like I go to work, then I go
back to work, then I go to sleep. Because I
was I was deep off in the trenches. I was like,
this shit interesting, but it got the dark souls kind
of like so you real deal got it? Like if
you die, that's a long way to get back. But yeah,
then that's about It's been two years. I've been telling
y'all I got it. Like we've been on the old pullet,
but I've been here. It was on PS plus Free,

(25:18):
y'all know how it is on it. I'm a renny,
but y'all know I'm a Jedi nigga. So if it's
Star Wars, even though Kathleen Kennedy fucked up Star Wars.

Speaker 5 (25:25):
I cannot. I'm so you.

Speaker 6 (25:28):
Can't blame the whole thing of one.

Speaker 1 (25:32):
I feel like you can. Yes, we can't feel like
we can.

Speaker 6 (25:37):
All the choices for her.

Speaker 5 (25:38):
You know, she could have stopped a lot of ship.

Speaker 7 (25:41):
Okay, you're right, she could have stopped it. But I
still blame some of the people who will come to
her with the battle.

Speaker 3 (25:46):
Oh no, I gotta list, I gotta list. But Na,
she gave it a green like and then she know,
you want to know where she killed me? She green Lina.
It's like, well, now you can green light it. But
then she's still next to the nigga, like, yep, that's you're.

Speaker 6 (26:00):
Right right, it's Cannon, you're right, you're right right.

Speaker 1 (26:05):
Week the Old books.

Speaker 8 (26:07):
The week was pretty good. I just spent anytime I
was gaming, I was crashing out on Marble or was
uh my team Platinum?

Speaker 6 (26:16):
Wait it's your teammates? Is it because of the game
or your teammates my teammates?

Speaker 8 (26:20):
No, the game is great, they get Yeah, I'm.

Speaker 6 (26:24):
Projects man, group projects.

Speaker 8 (26:27):
I just don't understand how some of these people get
up to my rank, Like I they where how how
did you get.

Speaker 5 (26:34):
Here is there? Luke?

Speaker 6 (26:35):
Is it like Luke great?

Speaker 5 (26:36):
In there? Like it?

Speaker 6 (26:37):
Can they pay their way?

Speaker 7 (26:38):
No?

Speaker 6 (26:39):
Are like somebody else paying playing the game for them?

Speaker 5 (26:42):
They might be.

Speaker 8 (26:46):
Yeah, it's just so I'm a I'm relatively high. I
mean it says I'm like ninety five percent ranked higher.
That's the grandmaster. Uh And I just sometimes these people
I don't I don't know, man, Like, how did you
get here? I am stuck here? Now? I am stuck here.
I have been three for like two weeks. Man, it

(27:07):
is I don't know. Maybe this is just where I belong.

Speaker 7 (27:09):
Maybe somebody needs to come out there and help Tony.
Somebody else who's a grand master, please come and help Tony.

Speaker 5 (27:15):
Why that you just you questioning yourself, like is it me?

Speaker 8 (27:19):
You know, at some point you have to think it's like,
is it me?

Speaker 1 (27:21):
Am I the issue?

Speaker 5 (27:23):
Am I am? I not teammate?

Speaker 7 (27:28):
It's projects man, You're leading, and a lot of people
are not doing their work.

Speaker 5 (27:34):
Reacher is back.

Speaker 1 (27:37):
Reacher.

Speaker 9 (27:38):
If you want some good testots, your own pumping action,
Reacher is what you want.

Speaker 5 (27:42):
I love reach Man so good.

Speaker 6 (27:44):
It is good.

Speaker 1 (27:45):
It is good.

Speaker 7 (27:45):
That's another one on my on my list. I hated
that actor in Titans, but he's perfect Titans, like when
he was Hawker Dove. Do this, do not do this.

Speaker 6 (28:00):
This is bad's too tall. You should not be HOWK.

Speaker 9 (28:05):
But uh, it's it's good. This season some four episodes
in so for you'all to catch up. Okay, storyline is good.

Speaker 6 (28:12):
Uh.

Speaker 9 (28:12):
Last episode was a flashback episode where you find out everything. Okay,
that was That was really good. Also, I've been continuing
to watching the Foundation on how they going.

Speaker 5 (28:22):
It's like Rebel Boon mixed with Star Wars, mixed with the.

Speaker 8 (28:27):
Math, mixed with Math.

Speaker 7 (28:28):
Okay, wait, wait, wait you said you don't insult Foundation
like that with the Rebel Moon. What are you on
the there's not a new No.

Speaker 5 (28:36):
He was like, bro, it's like Rebel Moon but good.

Speaker 6 (28:39):
And I was like, go on, yeah, I know, I
watched it, but my thing is there's not a new season,
is there.

Speaker 5 (28:45):
No, I'm on I'm on the I'm on the second
season now.

Speaker 7 (28:47):
Oh okay, yeah, no, it is very good and it
has just got that Apple TV plus money.

Speaker 8 (28:52):
Yeah yeah, yeah, that's what he just got.

Speaker 6 (28:56):
Gorgeous.

Speaker 7 (28:57):
No, that that show is gorgeous And the only issue
I have with Foundation and I've said this before.

Speaker 6 (29:04):
I love This is not a spoiler, well unless you
haven't seen the show at all, but it's.

Speaker 7 (29:09):
The only issue I have for with Foundation is that
every single black man in the show dies.

Speaker 6 (29:16):
It's at season one. There's black women that live and
there's people come.

Speaker 7 (29:21):
Every man dies it season one, and I'm like, can
y'all please fix this?

Speaker 6 (29:26):
So they kind of fixed it in season two.

Speaker 9 (29:28):
The reason the reason why I say it's Rebel Moon
because it's doing the whole Roman thing.

Speaker 7 (29:35):
Yeah, that's like, but Eli, isn't it cool how they
go through time and father day and brother day and brother.

Speaker 6 (29:42):
Night and I love that whole thing. No, No, but I.

Speaker 7 (29:47):
Mean that's why there's the actors are so good, Like
Lee Pace is so good because you really want to
strangle him every time you see.

Speaker 9 (29:53):
Him every time. So that's that's that's been a good experience.
I finished the I'm just wait.

Speaker 4 (30:00):
I'm just waiting for or Dart because Dart Devil come
out today?

Speaker 6 (30:05):
Is today?

Speaker 1 (30:06):
No, it'll come out on the fifth. I thought it should.

Speaker 5 (30:10):
It's the fifth or the seventh, but I might have screens.

Speaker 6 (30:15):
I need to go look that up because it comes
out of the fence. I might have it. That will
be the rest of my day. Ladies and gentlemen.

Speaker 5 (30:20):
And I just hit you up hey for me? Hey,
random question, bacle, I see a seven?

Speaker 1 (30:27):
How it's good?

Speaker 5 (30:29):
It's no, it's really what feels What are you in? Uh?

Speaker 9 (30:34):
I started over again. Ain't like the way I was going,
So I started over. So I'll get back to you
in a couple more days. Let me play a little
bit more.

Speaker 8 (30:42):
By the way, Johnny Storm and the thing came out
on my arrivals, and.

Speaker 3 (30:47):
I heard people complaining about I heard niggas are sad
about that.

Speaker 5 (30:51):
That Yes, that all this busted.

Speaker 8 (30:52):
They said, Actually, I'm thinking it's that great now.

Speaker 9 (30:55):
They said when they say when Storm and Johnny Storm
do that altogether.

Speaker 8 (30:59):
Yeah that yeah, that's crazy. Yeah, he's like, oh that
absolutely hairs up with Storm and does fire tornadoes.

Speaker 1 (31:07):
That's great. It's insane.

Speaker 8 (31:09):
But I don't know about the old economy on that,
because it costs two olds to do that. But the
reason I brought that up is because Prama earlier said
here's the thing, and it's like it's some like that
is games the past like two weeks. That is the
jokes running. Here's the thing. Yeah, but here's the thing.
And then like, so you and you said that earlier.

(31:32):
I thought you were referencing the Fantastic four awesome that's
coming out. So I was like, oh, yeah, I just
have PTSD. I guess I don't know.

Speaker 6 (31:42):
Tony's going through it. His his team ain't playing right.

Speaker 7 (31:45):
He's got fantastic for.

Speaker 6 (31:49):
Tony needs a mental health day. Let's just give him
a moment.

Speaker 1 (31:53):
I can't get that on my I know you.

Speaker 6 (31:54):
Can't speaking up Fantastic Four.

Speaker 7 (31:57):
I don't know, actually anything except what y'all know about
that film.

Speaker 6 (32:01):
I am, I am. I don't know. No, I don't.
I really don't. The casting is good, but I really
don't know what they're going to do.

Speaker 5 (32:11):
Email.

Speaker 6 (32:11):
I don't. I honestly don't, And if I did, I
would tell you.

Speaker 1 (32:15):
Oh, I think it's gonna be Oh, I don't think
it's gonna be super.

Speaker 6 (32:17):
Look at you, get your eye out the camera.

Speaker 4 (32:19):
It's gonna be DC first win over Marvel in a
while in the movie what what?

Speaker 5 (32:26):
What the fuck?

Speaker 1 (32:26):
You just say what DC?

Speaker 4 (32:28):
Because Pantastic Four and Superman coming out at around the
same time they.

Speaker 7 (32:32):
Are they are and I will say that that that's
the plan. That's the summer blockbuster plan. I do think
that they're trying to put THO Sho up against each.

Speaker 6 (32:39):
Other, but I don't know. Superman look kind of good.

Speaker 7 (32:42):
Yeah, the moment I saw The reason why I liked
it is because the moment I saw Astro Astro, I'm like,
they're finally thinking of kids. Because one of the things
that keep happening with a lot of these movies is
people don't understand, like the majority of these audiences are
parents looking for someplace to take the kids. So if
it can't if it only appeals to adults and there's
nothing for kids, And I think I'm sensitive to this

(33:05):
because I'm now actually helping to market a kids show,
but there's like nothing because it's only adults yelling about
a lot of these shows, and a lot of these
parents are like, I really just need to take my
kid to see something that's not Deadpool, like you know,
So I think that I think Fantastic Four might be
beyond a kids think like they might not like it,

(33:27):
but the fans are gonna like it. I think Superman
is going for that family market this summer when it's
hot outside, are you trying to get some air conditioning
and going to.

Speaker 5 (33:36):
The smart.

Speaker 4 (33:39):
Oh who else? Oh no, well I have I have
much more. We could go into the review. I do
much shout out to Tk's comedy. I did a competition
with them over the week. I want third place in it.
So that's pretty dope congratulation.

Speaker 1 (33:53):
Thank you. Well, you know that's how Caramel.

Speaker 6 (33:57):
Only one that wow that don't get support.

Speaker 5 (34:00):
Dude a million fans.

Speaker 4 (34:02):
Okay, my god, yeah yeah, his cat that run away
is also one of my fans. All right, now, you
started it, all right, move it on, Move it on,
Spider Man, everybody.

Speaker 7 (34:16):
I will only I will admit that I've only seen
the first episode because I'm just starting it.

Speaker 6 (34:20):
But you can spoil it. I don't care. I get
spoiled all the time. I'm so worried.

Speaker 3 (34:23):
All right, So random question, how did you feel about
God damn Norman Osbourne.

Speaker 5 (34:29):
They race swapping them. I feel like he was the
coldest white man with Wade. He was.

Speaker 6 (34:36):
Here's the thing.

Speaker 7 (34:37):
I don't mind the fact that they race swapped him
because it's Coleman Domingo. Yeah, and I love Coleman Domingo.
Don't swap it for somebody dumb you can, Coleman Domingo,
I'm happy. Here's the thing, people, I think I love
the fact that the show is so diverse, despite what
that the main voice actor for Peter Parker said, And

(35:01):
I know he's walked that back, but that still aggravated me, Like,
how are you gonna sabotage your own show?

Speaker 5 (35:05):
You live in single spider Man.

Speaker 7 (35:08):
The only the only problem that I have on that
show with the black characters is the hair I need
somebody to go.

Speaker 5 (35:17):
And you know, it's like, what is the kid? The kill?

Speaker 3 (35:21):
Manga dreads were the beginning of the end for black
people and haircuts.

Speaker 1 (35:24):
And I will say not the many young black people
got dreads, people like yeah, but.

Speaker 5 (35:31):
Don't grow like that.

Speaker 7 (35:33):
But also also like even I can't remember the football
player characters name, like okay, so he's got a fade
and then he's got the But why the braids got
to be blue?

Speaker 6 (35:40):
I don't understand what's happening there.

Speaker 5 (35:42):
You know, they gotta throw the one, they gotta throw
one like.

Speaker 7 (35:44):
Unique this then too the only the only thing that
also bothers me. But I'm going to assume they're gonna
fix this because remember I'm only looked at an episode
and a half end. I always go through this with
Marvel movies. They stay misrepresenting New York and I, as
a New Yorker, I have a problem with that.

Speaker 5 (36:00):
No, they ain't gonna fix it.

Speaker 7 (36:01):
This is like when he gets off the train and
har Harlem does not look like that, and do he
look like that's is nineteen eighty seven? Harlem is all
now like it is Brownstones, but there's a lot of
high rises and ain nobody.

Speaker 6 (36:14):
Homeless sitting next to the train. No, I don't know
how to twenty fifth Street where it looks like he
got off.

Speaker 8 (36:19):
So I'm like, it does seem like it's in the
past kind of but not really.

Speaker 7 (36:23):
Yeah, it's like you can't tell the time frame, like
kind of like Gossam Batman, like where are we? And
then the penguin reveals that Gossamn is in New Jersey
and that tracks.

Speaker 5 (36:32):
So I'm what do you think about it?

Speaker 3 (36:34):
But you know it's funny because of developed But he
was like when they do like this, just remember the
way it's a white lady in France broke it like
that that she don't get it.

Speaker 7 (36:44):
She doesn't get it because I'm like, I don't even
where does he live, and then that he's in a
brownstone and he's like supposed to be poor, right, but
his brownstone is pretty big and you can't have that
and his and it's it's the families. So they're not renting,
which means and I'm not saying it's expensive to live
in New York, but this is me whenever I watch
anything with New York in.

Speaker 6 (37:03):
It, and I'm like, who came up with this? That
is not how this works.

Speaker 4 (37:06):
It's like somebody from New York wasn't behind to think,
you know how you can tell like when people write
black characters, but you could tell a black person, right.

Speaker 6 (37:15):
Wait, like I'm sure y'all go.

Speaker 7 (37:16):
So when you see anybody who's written for Texas and
you're like, that is not.

Speaker 5 (37:20):
Any any game in the worst, that's Arkansas.

Speaker 6 (37:23):
That's not Texas.

Speaker 1 (37:25):
Texas don't have cowboy heads.

Speaker 3 (37:27):
Anybody that think Louisiana they automatically going to New Orleans.
And I'm like, bro, we can some of us actually
took goddamn speech class.

Speaker 6 (37:36):
Yeah, like not everybody speaks with a pats wa, which
isn't a prob.

Speaker 5 (37:39):
But oh, don't speak like that just.

Speaker 7 (37:43):
So but that's taking away from your review. I'm just
saying I watched it, and that's my take. But I
do like the animation, loves the opening sequence downtrack.

Speaker 6 (37:53):
It is really good.

Speaker 7 (37:54):
And I love how they do little callbacks to like
the original series and the movies and stuff.

Speaker 5 (38:00):
It makes it nice.

Speaker 7 (38:01):
I don't have a problem with I don't have a
problem with I Wasborn because it's called me Jamaica.

Speaker 1 (38:05):
No, you no making the story work too.

Speaker 3 (38:08):
Yeah, when you see that, you just saw the first episode,
just watch that.

Speaker 5 (38:12):
That is I am acting.

Speaker 6 (38:14):
I'm not going to mainline that this week.

Speaker 3 (38:16):
Like when you get to like the last I say,
oh this niggah. I know he was in the studio
fucking widening.

Speaker 7 (38:23):
Bike on fire, but yeah, it sounds like he was
really chowing the scenery in there. He was like very
And the other thing I also like is that finally,
well they did they mimicked the live action in May is.

Speaker 6 (38:35):
Not like eighty.

Speaker 7 (38:36):
Yeah, she's like a normal auntie age, like in her
fifties or something forties or fifties.

Speaker 8 (38:42):
I was very confused because I think when I saw
like trailers and stuff, I was under the impression that
this was going to be an origin for Tom Holland
Spider Man.

Speaker 6 (38:53):
So did I.

Speaker 1 (38:54):
That's what I thought.

Speaker 7 (38:54):
Too, because he definitely hasn't do origin story because the
way the Spider bit, yeah, I thought it was I
thought it was Tom Hollands also, and then when I
don't know why everybody besides Tom Holland that plays Spider
Man has to be weird on the internet.

Speaker 8 (39:08):
But they need to vet these people. I don't know
that he was trying to be bad about I think
what he meant was like he didn't want the show
to be pandering and with all the changes to like
gender swapping and race swapping, that he thought maybe it
was going to be that way and it is. It
is definitely not and it's not.

Speaker 7 (39:30):
But he should have But here's the thing. Two words,
media training. Like he could have thought that, but if
he had media training, somebody would have showed him how
to say that in a way that wouldn't turn into
a SoundBite.

Speaker 5 (39:42):
That like Anthony Catlin America.

Speaker 7 (39:46):
Yes, but Anthony Mackie. Anthony Mackie is the problem. You know,
he hears media training, he just doesn't care.

Speaker 5 (39:52):
From the Louisiana that's one of my I can't even
be mad at him as we do that.

Speaker 7 (39:58):
But I really like the animation stuff. I like the music,
I like the pacing. I like I mean, they get
right into the story. I'm like, oh, clinitar okay, uh,
strange perfect, all right, So like we're we established very
early on that Okay, this is a different universe.

Speaker 6 (40:14):
It's not the one that we're used to.

Speaker 7 (40:15):
It seems like again I'm I'm early in, but I
like what I'm seeing, the pacing, the development, and I'm
almost out of the second episode, so I get it,
But go.

Speaker 6 (40:23):
Ahead spoil it for me.

Speaker 1 (40:26):
Eli used to does our reviews. Eli, what you got?

Speaker 4 (40:28):
You're gonna do it today, all right, so women don't
break first the back Yeah yeah, all right, oh you said,
oh okay, I thought you's telling me.

Speaker 1 (40:36):
All right, but we gotta go to a quick break.

Speaker 4 (40:37):
But when we come back, we're gonna finish that Spider
Man review and Eli's corner after this and we are back,
So Eli kicking the review over to you.

Speaker 1 (40:47):
What you got? The rest of the Spider Man review.

Speaker 9 (40:49):
Scenes finale Friend the Neighborhood Spider Man. I must say
I'm a disagree your Caramel.

Speaker 8 (40:53):
I didn't.

Speaker 5 (40:53):
I didn't.

Speaker 9 (40:54):
I was not into the animation style of first, but
the voice acting in the story got me over by
the end of it grow on you a little bit.
I was like, I was too into the story to
hear too much about the animations.

Speaker 5 (41:05):
That was a good part.

Speaker 7 (41:06):
It's because it's three D. A lot of and a
lot of us who came up on two D and anime.
We want to see that.

Speaker 5 (41:12):
And this is we appreciate that.

Speaker 6 (41:13):
Yeah, we appreciate it three D.

Speaker 7 (41:15):
It's not cheating, but it is just I do think
when you don't do a lot of shading and things
like that, and like I said, the hair is a choice.

Speaker 1 (41:23):
It is.

Speaker 6 (41:23):
Yeah, you can't tell I know you.

Speaker 5 (41:25):
First is aby. What are your thoughts on the storylines
in the finale?

Speaker 1 (41:29):
What did you like?

Speaker 5 (41:30):
And if you have something that you didn't like, what
didn't you like the finale?

Speaker 1 (41:34):
Finale was was? It was good for me? I liked it.

Speaker 4 (41:38):
I really like how like close to the end where
they started laying out who these people are that's around
Spider Man, because like I said, I didn't notice until
like that last episode that Nico that's his best friend
is the same Nico for Marvel Runways, which that's yeah,
I didn't know that.

Speaker 1 (41:55):
I didn't notice that, so I did not know that either.

Speaker 4 (41:58):
Yeah, in which I think it's cool because she was like,
they have just abandoned Marvel Runaways.

Speaker 1 (42:05):
Like it was just nothing. They didn't Marvel Runways.

Speaker 5 (42:08):
Was like, one, ain't they in Humans?

Speaker 1 (42:11):
Kind of no, no, no.

Speaker 7 (42:13):
No, they did that because in Humans were supposed to
be a really big show and then when they tanked it,
then they're like, well, maybe she's a mutant.

Speaker 5 (42:20):
Right, okay?

Speaker 3 (42:21):
One, because you know how like half of the in
Humans either stayed in human or it's like, nah, they
was really a beauty. That's how always spelt with with Miko.
She was one a gym in comic but wise, you
know what I.

Speaker 5 (42:32):
Mean say that show.

Speaker 9 (42:33):
That show was a lot interesting at first, but then
when the Alex stuff happened that you know that's gonna
happen in the coming but they chudged it a little
bit in the show becausey wanted to keep himround because
he was so popular.

Speaker 5 (42:42):
It was a great part of the show.

Speaker 7 (42:43):
I was like, everybody was like, oh, I love this character,
and I'm like, what are y'all gonna do when you
get to the park.

Speaker 6 (42:51):
He's very badly bad.

Speaker 1 (42:53):
Yeah, they only tease that they didn't even they didn't.

Speaker 9 (42:57):
They finished in the last last season there they finished
it up. You go down the tomb book path finally, but.

Speaker 4 (43:04):
I gotta see it. I messis. I don't think I
missed the best part of the show. I'm just no, yeah, yeah, you.

Speaker 5 (43:13):
Best be the best part of the show.

Speaker 9 (43:14):
And you know because in the coming Nico is big
and stuff, so you won't her to be the best
part when you watch me if you read the comic.

Speaker 3 (43:20):
But Alex, yeah, they burned the ship out of me
a little bit, but it kind of helped.

Speaker 1 (43:27):
I like the animation it was, I was it's good
for me.

Speaker 7 (43:30):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (43:31):
I like the three the animation they're doing with it
because it kind of have like this comic book style
to it that I like. It was a good storyline,
but it kind of hurting me on two Stone's fucking backstory.

Speaker 1 (43:43):
That hurt me so.

Speaker 4 (43:44):
Bad because no, no, I'm saying I liked it, but
it was just sad to me the way he kind
of just threw his life, like you nearly watched him
throw his life away for the streets, Like hold on, man,
he's a football player, he's a champion football player, he's
a student doing it. But then you gotta remember this
is Tombstone. He got this Tombstone? Is that that, dude?

(44:07):
So I'm just like, ah, I didn't like I don't
like Scorpion.

Speaker 1 (44:11):
I didn't like his design.

Speaker 5 (44:12):
Nobody nobody ever likes Scorpion.

Speaker 4 (44:15):
No, I love Scorpion. Scarpy is one of my favorite
for Spider Man villains.

Speaker 8 (44:18):
I just you, yeah, I.

Speaker 5 (44:22):
Take both over.

Speaker 9 (44:23):
Scorpion never run those the goofiest villains I ever seen him,
and run on my two favorites, Bro Mysterio, Green Goblin,
hob Goblin Mysterio just makes it lose just keeping what
are you talking about Hammerhead.

Speaker 4 (44:39):
I'm not talking about that. I'm just talking about he's
one of my fair I'm not saying my favorite. I'm
just saying they won my favorites.

Speaker 5 (44:44):
Nobody Tombstone over God Damn Scorpy.

Speaker 4 (44:47):
Because Keith ping is my favorite Spider Man, Villa Topaka
and two different niggas.

Speaker 1 (44:54):
But finally, I just can't wait to like.

Speaker 4 (44:56):
I like how they laid out of the direction of
the show in in the end of the season, probably
most like the last episodes, So I can't wait to
see what's to come, because I like how they did it.

Speaker 1 (45:06):
I can't wait to.

Speaker 4 (45:06):
See how these because most of the people that was
his friends are Vielins and most people you know, I
can't wait to see how how good it was.

Speaker 5 (45:13):
A build up between Peter and Harry. How good was
that build up? It was good?

Speaker 1 (45:17):
Were real.

Speaker 5 (45:18):
It's gonna break your heart when they.

Speaker 4 (45:20):
Yeah, because you can't because you can't even tell they're
ever gonna be enemies in this season. Like now, hold on,
now that Norman Osborne coaching this dude to kill scorpion.
That was comic book textbook Norman Osborn gets in to
be p old.

Speaker 3 (45:35):
But when you see, when you hear that acting, it's good.
Oh my god.

Speaker 6 (45:39):
I mean, I know it's coming.

Speaker 7 (45:40):
That's why I'm not stressed about you all spoiling us,
because I know, like all these difference part of my stories.
But like, yeah, I thought they might do something different,
but Tombstone. But okay, he's got to become Tombstone.

Speaker 1 (45:49):
So yeah, that's what they try to becomes to. All right, Dray,
what are your thoughts?

Speaker 9 (45:54):
What's some things you liked about the storyline and somethings
you didn't like about the storyline.

Speaker 3 (45:58):
I do that stone the tones Stone storeline here personal,
God damn it hap this God damn. Sometimes you just
got to become that niggas say you god damn dumb ass,
my brother, goddamn it had like but yeah, it's like
I kind of you know how people try to modernizeh
He actually did do a good job a little bit.
New York niggas might be demptation because I've never been

(46:20):
up door, but.

Speaker 7 (46:21):
No, they keep they'd stay messing up the geography but
type ship.

Speaker 3 (46:26):
But it's like the way they kind of did because
like the first like p S Fos Fighter Man, they
kind of grew on me when it was like, damn,
my nigga, Pete is dead ass, broke tail out shere
slaving niggas. When that nigga he got evicted and he
had to follow trash truck to find his gadget, he
felt that that's real.

Speaker 5 (46:44):
He had My nigga was that when you get to.

Speaker 6 (46:47):
Go dumpster diving to find HI stuff, that's yeah.

Speaker 3 (46:50):
And then had the call call Mary Jane. They've been
broke up, like he can, I can I get.

Speaker 7 (46:55):
Your cut because here's here's the thing, and I like
to hear that, because here's the thing that always bothers me.

Speaker 6 (47:00):
I don't mind young broke Peter Parker.

Speaker 7 (47:03):
I have a problem when it's he's a grown man
and he's still broke and he still has access to
all this stuff, and I'm like, you're supposed to be genius.

Speaker 6 (47:10):
None of this is making sense, right. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (47:13):
I appreciate the game and the show and showing like
yong Peter Parker, he's just that shit, he's stucking, He's
just money.

Speaker 5 (47:21):
You got an internship. Y'all know. I don't wear a shirt.
You know how much it bothers me.

Speaker 3 (47:26):
When I gotta go to places and they be like, Jo,
you gotta wear a college shirt.

Speaker 5 (47:29):
I start twitsching t shit. It bothers me.

Speaker 7 (47:32):
That's okay, I get this. I get the same reaction
when people say I gotta wear heels. I'm like, this
is not happening. It was like I'm gonna be walking
like what you go work. I'm just it's not gonna
be good for anybody.

Speaker 5 (47:43):
I appreciate it. I appreciated this season.

Speaker 3 (47:46):
Then, like, how do you like when Doctor Trames popped
up in the first episode and wings ship again of
him till they brought it all the way back around
at the end, and I'm like, Okay, I see how
y'all do. I appreciate it, just like the build up,
so like they built a really good ground work with
this teat. I can say that like it, like this
could be a nice in the universe. He better pop

(48:07):
up and uh whenever, week whenever, Uh into the Spider
Verse three come out and the Nigga's Miles brother stopped
sucking up being a stamp, like he bet like this
this Spider Man better pop up one time. And I
kind of appreciate it. But it was, you know, it's
a good fresh show because you know, once again, just
like the main niggs said, it kind of weird that
first niggas thought it was gonna be working like woking

(48:28):
awkward at times, but it was actually like well built.

Speaker 1 (48:31):
It was.

Speaker 5 (48:32):
It was nice to build. I appreciate it.

Speaker 8 (48:33):
It was all right, Tony, So I really liked the writing. Man.
You really get caught up in a lot of the
moments here. I think the only the only like little
slip that I caught not related to finally is Nico's
reaction to finding out he's Spider Man.

Speaker 5 (48:53):
Yeah, she had, like the black girl on The Investible.

Speaker 8 (48:58):
She reacts to it by saying, Oh, I don't yeah
you know what, actually, yeah, you tell me.

Speaker 7 (49:05):
I think that's hilarious because I have so many issues
with that girl.

Speaker 5 (49:10):
She handled it the exact same way, and I didn't
like that.

Speaker 6 (49:15):
Here's here's here's what that is.

Speaker 7 (49:18):
That is taking a very smart female character and all
of a sudden making her emotional and not smart. And
it makes me absolutely crazy because here somebody is like, Oh,
I like her, They're really cool. And then all of
a sudden, logic goes out the window because I'm a
woman and I'm being emotional.

Speaker 6 (49:35):
That's what that is.

Speaker 1 (49:37):
And I see that's what they That's another thing.

Speaker 4 (49:39):
I wish that we would have got more of us
learning about who Nico is and not her like fallow
over Peter Parker because we know Peter Parker Like that's
not I don't know, but Lois Lane would do this.

Speaker 6 (49:52):
Ship stop bringing up hilarious.

Speaker 5 (50:00):
I'm just gonna be I'm just I'm bossed it our romance.
I don't care about it at all.

Speaker 7 (50:06):
Man, Wait, you don't care about what I missed that?
You don't care about romance? You like, stop distracting me
with these women. I want to see the fight.

Speaker 1 (50:13):
I don't care about it at all.

Speaker 8 (50:15):
Care about plots, yeah, I think that's that was my
only issue as far as like the story goes. It
felt a little a little forced. I'm not It wasn't
a fan of that, but I'm glad it's resolved and
it's over. And I think, honestly, what it was used
for was to get Harry and her to be friends. Yeah,
I think that's all it was the only it was

(50:36):
a plot device for that, But I don't think it
was executed very well.

Speaker 9 (50:40):
These kids, we have some complicated lives in hospital. My
life was not that complicated in hospital. I'm just being honest. Yeah, simple.

Speaker 7 (50:47):
I definitely couldn't be absent as much as these kids,
just like, how are you even passing.

Speaker 1 (50:55):
To be down?

Speaker 5 (50:56):
Would that wouldn't where the want to see officer.

Speaker 1 (51:03):
True?

Speaker 8 (51:04):
The officer for the finale though, I guess when I
first saw the first episode, and honestly, I've I've learned
a bunch about Marble stuff more recently because of Marble Rivals.
So like I didn't know about clintar until I stayed
like played Marvel, Oh, Okay.

Speaker 5 (51:21):
So, so did you know about Moon Night? Oh?

Speaker 8 (51:27):
I knew all the characters. The only character didn't know
for Marvel Rivals was Luna Snow. Now I'm talking more.

Speaker 3 (51:32):
I was talking about like the why why because oh
him filed out Moon Night? Wait, what's the not the venom?
Bigg he owes goddamn moon Night money? And that's kind
of the long running joke of why moon Night keep
on asking this nigga for his money bait?

Speaker 8 (51:47):
That's funny.

Speaker 1 (51:47):
Oh No, I didn't. I didn't.

Speaker 8 (51:49):
I don't think I've heard that voice line.

Speaker 3 (51:51):
He finally got the voice line like if like Moonnight
probably like wait, oh ship he's here.

Speaker 1 (51:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (51:58):
But the so there I knew quite a bit about,
but like the settings and stuff I didn't know. So
when So when the first episode dropped, I didn't know
it was Clint Tarp. But when it showed up again
here and it kind of like rounds back into the
whole time connection thing, I was like, Oh, that's Clint
tar I see because all the symbios pop up too,

(52:21):
and so it all kind of like made sense. Also,
I really like Spider Man as a whole in this
series is really genuine. He is genuinely written, and I
really like that, yeah, because its too It shows like
he really is just he just cares about people. In
January's yeah, he just wants to be a hero the

(52:43):
best way he cans. And I think, I don't know,
maybe we just don't get that enough anymore, but it
was really nice to see that. And it's nice to
see him interact with other heroes too, like when he
interacts with Doctor Strange in the last episode. It just
felt natural, and I think that probably throughout the show,
everything feels really natural. Like I don't know how they

(53:04):
did the voice acting this time, if they're like always
in the room together or something, but it felt like.

Speaker 5 (53:09):
They were there.

Speaker 8 (53:09):
They were just always talking to each other and it
wasn't just reading offlines in the room.

Speaker 9 (53:15):
All right, Before we go to the next segment, let's
give us everybody rating one from tenager, what's your rating?

Speaker 1 (53:21):
Uh, it's gonna be a nine for me, right, slid.

Speaker 8 (53:25):
Tony, this is a nine for me.

Speaker 9 (53:26):
I wouldn't ask Caramel, but finish all right, that's about
Spider Man review.

Speaker 1 (53:33):
What yeah? Yeah, what is your score?

Speaker 6 (53:38):
To think about that? Eight point five?

Speaker 8 (53:40):
Okay?

Speaker 1 (53:41):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (53:42):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (53:42):
By accident can you take his movie review like we
take his scores kind of seriously sometimes. So that's why
when we asked, we want to know because he does
have I'm trying not to stroke his ego, but he
does have.

Speaker 1 (53:56):
Yeah, he give it an eight point five? Is really good?

Speaker 5 (54:00):
All right?

Speaker 9 (54:01):
Next sement, got a new segment that we're starting this
year in the new season podcast call Posing Argument, Test
guest and host. There to defend something.

Speaker 5 (54:12):
You don't like me, you know?

Speaker 6 (54:14):
Wait, wait wait, I have to defend it, even if
I don't like him.

Speaker 5 (54:16):
Even you don't like you got defended. You got defended.

Speaker 6 (54:19):
First look, I'm a black woman.

Speaker 8 (54:21):
That should be easy.

Speaker 4 (54:23):
The first question is not not about Trump then, and
I am a judge.

Speaker 5 (54:32):
I'm the judge residing over this courtroom.

Speaker 9 (54:34):
Okay, podcast, the fund a decision. So we're gonna let's
go hit out guessing at first Caramel, okay, man, let's.

Speaker 6 (54:43):
Go, okay, so what we who's defending.

Speaker 9 (54:45):
And who's you'll see, y'all y'all gonna have to defend.
Y'all gonna have to give an argument for this character,
these two characters. All right, Okay, do y'all remember Dawson's Creek.

Speaker 6 (54:55):
Yes, oh my god, barely Okay.

Speaker 9 (54:59):
Joey, And do you remember how everybody was fighting who
she who she should end up with?

Speaker 1 (55:04):
Pay? Remember that? Remember that?

Speaker 7 (55:08):
Wait, Joey wasn't that Tom Cruise's ex wife?

Speaker 5 (55:12):
No? Yes, she played a Katie Hawks playing.

Speaker 1 (55:16):
Yeah, oh jesus, I haven't seen Caramel.

Speaker 4 (55:21):
I'm with you, I'm with you. I haven't seen it.
I haven't seen this in years.

Speaker 6 (55:26):
So what am I defending?

Speaker 9 (55:28):
All right, Caramel, you're gonna defend why Joey to end
up with Dawson, and you go, you're gonna.

Speaker 5 (55:35):
Feel what she should end up with?

Speaker 4 (55:36):
Paisty broend blindly defend.

Speaker 5 (55:41):
Who am I going for? Who am I?

Speaker 1 (55:43):
He said?

Speaker 5 (55:43):
Pascy?

Speaker 4 (55:44):
I think, first of all, when's the last time you
heard up a dude? That's terrible name, Paisy.

Speaker 6 (55:51):
But you're hilarious, Pacey.

Speaker 1 (55:53):
Sounds like a good person, sounds like a person that
takes his time. Hits the name pace.

Speaker 4 (56:00):
I think she definitely end up because the dude the
show is called Dawson Creek the show.

Speaker 1 (56:04):
If it's named after you, you're not a good person
for some reason.

Speaker 4 (56:08):
So I think person because the name, Yeah, Dalson, why
are you at a creek. You where though, if it's
one guy stand at a creek, you're not gonna trust him.
But that's why I think she should be with. He
was a straight a student, he was smarter, he did
he did bang his teacher.

Speaker 1 (56:23):
He's he's cool because the teacher.

Speaker 4 (56:26):
So he has if he could pull a teacher, then
you know, what's her name?

Speaker 1 (56:31):
Joey?

Speaker 6 (56:32):
Yeah, Joey. I'm not he has a whole ass weapon.

Speaker 10 (56:34):
And we're discussing this, Joey, Joey, you gotta think of this,
even though you know, even though you're like sixty years old,
you gotta think of this.

Speaker 1 (56:46):
Painty.

Speaker 4 (56:47):
Yeah, pay is the guy. Go uh that was my
best blindly ca.

Speaker 7 (56:52):
Okay, So the only thing I do remember about the
show is yes, okay, it's called Dawson's Creek, so she
should get with Dawson. But the one thing I do
remember about Joey is that they were friends when they
were kids. They were like friends, like from the beginning
of the show, right, they were like.

Speaker 6 (57:10):
Always really good friends.

Speaker 7 (57:11):
And I felt like what I what I remember was,
I remember they were like the central theme of the show,
the core of the show, even if they did different
things every week. Eat Paisty all the other stuff, it
always came back to what those two and their opinion.
So I feel like they were the core couple kind
of from the beginning because she grew up with him.
And yeah, also, it's called Dawson's Creek. It's not called

(57:33):
Paisty's Creek.

Speaker 6 (57:34):
It's not called it's not called Paisty Creek, it's called Dawston's.

Speaker 1 (57:37):
Why does he meet a girl though he has his
home creek?

Speaker 7 (57:41):
Girls, You're hilarious, But I mean, I think and I
think also if we're gonna look at it from like
a Hollywood standpoint, like Katie Holmes was, you know, her
star was rising, so even if she and I even
in all the posters, it was the main guy Gosplinger. No,
not that's the other show. Sorry, the main guy who
Dawson and homes. No, there are different people. We're saved

(58:07):
by the bell was Gostlinger and anyway people see. But
my thing was, whenever you saw the posters they had,
their images were the biggest, so I'm thinking they were
the top billers. So it was always like they're clearly
going to end up together. I'm that's my little ADHD brain.

Speaker 5 (58:25):
Pattern.

Speaker 4 (58:25):
Recognition, all right, and in this courtroom makes the Okay
creek waste and time we should have cracked when she
was calm through his windows.

Speaker 6 (58:36):
Show there be no show.

Speaker 1 (58:40):
No, But.

Speaker 3 (58:42):
Why in like all the like nineties shows, everybody stayed
in the two story house and everything stayed in the.

Speaker 5 (58:48):
Window there on the east coast somewhere.

Speaker 7 (58:52):
Because if you stayed in a house that was bigger,
it's a building and it's a city and you're in
the projects.

Speaker 3 (58:57):
All right, I'm too paran that type ship, so I
look at windows like, okay, but that's how Scarface got killed.
A nigga climbed up that nigga scaled that ship and
climbed to the ass. Why would I put my daughter
in that room?

Speaker 5 (59:10):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (59:10):
Why are all the kids rooms on the outside?

Speaker 5 (59:12):
All right?

Speaker 9 (59:16):
The court water all right, I'm gonna caramel because I
thought I thought Dawson Joe should end up together. And
I was sad for two weeks after that series from
now in there.

Speaker 4 (59:27):
That's because you have a man crush on Dawson. I
lost this in the beginning. I know I want to
win because I man the court room.

Speaker 1 (59:36):
What I said, we used.

Speaker 4 (59:38):
To have, we used to have to share rooms. I
used to come home one to watch the Simpson this
new and wait.

Speaker 5 (59:49):
Again.

Speaker 1 (59:51):
This is a reward while you watching this?

Speaker 4 (59:53):
All right?

Speaker 1 (59:54):
Tony and Drake, Tony, Drake.

Speaker 9 (59:57):
There's a couple of good fathers in Night the Television.
One Cars Winslow, the other the other is mister Banks.
Why do you give me this one? It's about two
fat dudes that damn all right? Tony, you gotta defend
the Winslow father as the best father in ninety TV?

Speaker 5 (01:00:18):
And Dre you gotta what's mister Banks from? Lord? Oh?
Damn wow, you gotta defend the Banks? Why say uncle Phil?

Speaker 9 (01:00:32):
The Banks family father is the is the best father
in ninety TV? All right, Tony, what's your argument? What's
your closing argument?

Speaker 1 (01:00:40):
Uh?

Speaker 8 (01:00:40):
Well, he had it all right, He had it all.

So annoying them seasons. He got on one nerve so
much they had to rearrast the people. They had to
rebrand that because he will was annoying. He didn't get
people that started liking till like the third season. I
just want to say this.

Speaker 1 (01:01:06):
He was.

Speaker 8 (01:01:07):
He was relatable, you know, and he always he always
came back with an apology and a lifeless if he
messed up.

Speaker 4 (01:01:13):

Speaker 7 (01:01:36):
It's copaganda, so all right, So now Uncle Phil's one.

Speaker 3 (01:01:41):
He's one of the only black niggas to actually just
build his own ship, get that ship together, get his
own goddamn mansion, move to motherfucking bell there because hey,
we've been up north.

Speaker 5 (01:01:51):

That can happen, That can happen, That can happen, that
can happen, that thing that don't need to be adopted.

Speaker 6 (01:02:34):
You don't need to step out.

Speaker 3 (01:02:35):
Now that that could have been from the first man. Hey,
if you gotta, if you gotta mention like that, you've
probably been married twice.

Speaker 6 (01:02:44):
Oh my god, I'm sorry.

Speaker 3 (01:02:46):

Speaker 4 (01:03:11):
I understand why he was mad at his dad when
I was a kid, because his dad was like, I
drive trucks, I'm about to go on the road.

Speaker 1 (01:03:16):
I'm like, why you mad? My dad do that all
the time.

Speaker 5 (01:03:18):
But I was.

Speaker 1 (01:03:19):
But it's like different dynamics. My dad was actually a
good dad.

Speaker 5 (01:03:23):
Is that nigga come back?

Speaker 1 (01:03:26):
Yeah, that's why I didn't understand that as a kid.

Speaker 6 (01:03:31):

Speaker 8 (01:03:32):
Carl held it down in middle class Chicago, all right,
represent every day man. Hey, guess what you know? And
he was he was a cop, but he worked long
hours and he was in a time where segregation was
still real prevalent.

Speaker 3 (01:03:48):
Uncle Phil was to and guess what, he got a
mentione and he fucking built his ship up.

Speaker 8 (01:03:53):
He was out there making the streets better and he
still had time to come home and teach his kids respect.
And I.

Speaker 6 (01:04:04):
Remember the episode where they got to meet each other.

Speaker 9 (01:04:07):

but a cap dre wins nineties father Wow also symbils
right until the right leader.

Speaker 1 (01:04:27):

he said, but that isn't new information, So.

Speaker 6 (01:04:51):
I don't know why everybody it was dragged.

Speaker 7 (01:04:53):
For that because that is not new information, not at all.
That's what I was like when he was alive, that
information was out. So that's why I'm like, I am
very confused as to what's happening right now. At first
I thought I woke up in the wrong timeline, which
