Speaker 1 (00:01):
This is Paris. Hey guys, we're back with another episode
of This is Paris. Hey Hunter, what's up Hi Paris? Well,
I was actually looking through our Instagram the other day

(00:21):
and I realized the audience has some questions for you.
Some of them have been devil triple asking these questions.
So I put a few of them together and I'm
gonna pepper them with you for this episode. Let's do it, okay,
first one, this one was from Libby. When did you
know Carter was the one? Like? What was the exact moment? Well,
we've been friends for over fifteen years. But then when

(00:45):
I went to the Hampton's for Thanksgiving and I just
saw him with his mom. They were so cute together.
He was so sweet and kind with her, and you
can really tell a lot about a man by the
way he treats his mom. So I left that and
then we had our first kiss that night, and it
was just like that electric feeling and I just knew

(01:08):
from there. Can I ask was it a long first
kiss or was it like a short peck or was
it like what was it? It was like thirty minutes
of like making out, like by the tennis core outside
and the cold in the Hampton's on Thanksgiving, so it
was like freezing outside. It's kind of like teenagers, you know,

(01:29):
like that's the stuff you do, which is I think
the best situation you can be in when you feel
that like young love energy. That was super hot. Okay, well,
I think maybe this question will be the same for
you and Carter. But what movie makes you laugh the most?
That's from Lucy my favorite movie so many um, I

(01:52):
love there's something about Mary. That movie is just iconic
and hilarious. Like Ben Steller and Cavin Diaz kill it
in that movie. It's I've seen it. I don't even
know how many times. It's so good. That is like
a classic, will be timeless, amazing forever. The Fairly Brothers
are like geniuses and bridesmaids like I that movie. I die.

(02:15):
It's so funny. Every single person in it is so hilarious.
Like I don't we should actually think of some of
the people from that movie to interview because the whole
cast is just epic. It's amazing. I'm actually looking up
so many if there's so many people in that that
would be amazing to interview. Yeah, remind me because I

(02:37):
have a d D and I will literally forget. In
the next year, we got Kristen Wig, Maya Rudolph and
then Melissa McCarthy, who I feel like is a dream
guest on any show or podcast. So funny, Oh my god,
them in like the wedding try on, yes, dying that
was nightmare, that would be, but so funny, so so funny.

(03:01):
I can't, well, what did you think of Strothers? That's
my phone? Oh god, that is so insane. Like Will
Ferrell is literally and again a comic genius. Yeah, do
you ever want to get into Like You're obviously busy
doing whatever you want, but do you ever want to
try and get into the comedy acting more regularly? Because

(03:22):
right now I feel like everyone comes to you with
like paras hilt in parts. But would you ever want
to be somebody else and really like comedy? Try it
and make it as funny as everything you do is funny.
But you know what I'm saying, Yeah, definitely. I get
scripts all the time and offers to do different roles
for film and TV, but it's my schedule is so

(03:43):
crazy that I can't even I can't say yes to anything.
So anytime I'm offered something, they're like, yeah, it's two
months in Canada, or you're gonna have to fly to
like I don't know, like something like London for a
few months. And it's just like I literally don't even
have a day off. So I would love to do that,
but I just don't have time, which kind of sucks
because I would love that would be so much. Oh

(04:05):
my god, would be such a funny, funny role for you.
Any of them would be great. Okay, But I do
have a new movie I'm doing sooner. Actually, let's tell us.
I can't say yet, but my gosh, one of the
biggest production companies out there, and it's I'll tell you after.
I just can't say on there. But the movie was
written for me and it's so sick, like the whole concept,

(04:29):
everything about it and the people behind it are just
again like legend geniuses. So I'll tell you about it later. Okay. Well,
if you're listening to this right now, you don't want
to miss any of our future episodes because who knows
when she's going to reveal all the details. But this
next one comes from Alicia. This one's very open to interpretation.
But what is your biggest dream? I have a lot

(04:53):
of dreams, and I feel like so many of them
have came true. I think my other dreams would be
have a family, which I can't wait for, and also
for my bill to pass, my legislation for the Institutional
Child Abuse Act, which I'm going to be going back

(05:13):
to Washington, d C. This fall to go and announce
the bill and go speak again there. So um, yeah,
that's something I've just been working so hard on and
would mean so much to me and so many others
who have been through what I've been through. So yes,
those are my dreams. I think those are both of

(05:34):
my dreams. Now, hearing you as passionate your especially about
everything you've been doing with the abuse cases and everything
like that, that's that's how I'm my list. I really
want to see that come to fruition for you and
for everybody you're helping. Thank you. Okay, Well, now to
go the other direction into a more superficial question. What's
your best beauty tip? Paris? That one comes from a Laura.

(05:59):
I have a lot of aty tips, but some of
them are to stay out of the sun. It's always
number one from Paris. If you've ever curious what number
one is going to be. It's the one I least follow.
I'm in the It's so bad for you. And if
you're gonna do it, you need to get like a
fifty SPF or your skin is literally gonna get destroyed.

(06:19):
I just went to Next Health the last week and
you can put your face in this like scanner and
it will like scan everything and it will show everything
that's like under your skin, and like what your skin like.
I don't know, it's like everything about it. My skin
is like amazing. She's like, oh my god, your skin
is like a teenager. I was like, yep, staying out
son everything. She's like, literally, I have other people come

(06:40):
in here and their skin is like crazy. It's so
just damage from the sun, especially living in Los Angeles. Yeah,
smart move, smart move. Okay what else? Um? Okay the son?
Now um? And another beauty type of you, like a
day and you're doing your makeup and you want it
to look really be to ful. And something I do

(07:02):
sometimes is I get a big bowl and put ice
and water and then you like put your face in
the ice and like let it freeze. And you do
that a couple of times before your makeup, and that
just makes your makeup look amazing and your face and skin.
And I love using like this Fourio product or like

(07:24):
taps your eyes so it just like makes it so
it's there's no puffiness and it just looks really beautiful.
And I love using to go spot. I've patches are
like the little like hydro gels. I wear those during
the weekend. Like I don't ever makeup unless I'm going out,
so I'll just wear those all day long. I wear
them all the time. And just stuff. Definitely do use serums.

(07:47):
Make sure to put it on your neck, go down
to your chests, like everywhere. Um. And yeah, I'm developing
my new skin care line which will be out soon,
so definitely use that as well. And I name sex
yes obviously, thank God. Okay, great, because I need to
counteract some of this uh outdoor workouts I'm doing. This

(08:12):
is Paris. Okay. Well, I feel like this what you
just said is also answering this question. So maybe besides
makeup and beauty tips, what advice would you give a
bride on her wedding day? That's from Alana. My advice
is to go to bed early because it's going to

(08:34):
be a long day and night okay, and to not stressed.
That's really hard to say so stressed. Um My advice
also is too really take in the moments and try
to like remember everything and like really just not let

(08:57):
anything bother you, and have like your bridesmaids be there
to like, I don't know, help you with your hair.
You're dancing and it's like I don't know your flyways.
And to write your vows like before the wedding, not
like when we're about to walk down the aisle like me.

(09:20):
You didn't have bows ready to go? No, he didn't.
You didn't watch Paris and Love. What I must say
the episode that I just missed. Uh so wait for
those that didn't watch Parris and Love, you did not
write your vows parents, they could watch it on Peacock
Anyone Paris and Love. But yeah, in that episode, the

(09:41):
final episode, I'm literally writing them like as I'm even
walking like down the stairs to like go down the aisle,
like I still was not done. I ended up just
like throwing them on the floor and and just like freestyling,
which was really good. Yeah, it was amazing. So I
think you did the right thing. Good advice. Okay, how

(10:02):
do you balance being a boss and a wife, which
I feel like comes from a boss slash wife named Ashley.
How do I handle being a boss and a wife?
How do you balance being a boss and a wife?
I just do it. Um, we're both bosses and we

(10:22):
both you know, run our businesses and we're very serious entrepreneurs.
So I think when you find a partner that is
also has that work ethic and the business mind, it
um makes it easier than you know, being with someone
who has nothing going on, because then they're just like
sitting there and being like, give me attention every second.
So I'm lucky that I have a partner that it

(10:45):
works just as hard as myself. And um, yeah, I
think also I didn't okay. One piece of advice is
to give time like for dates and things like that,
because if you're too focused on being a boss, then
I don't know, then you don't have time to be
like romantic, do you? Um? Do you in Carter? Like

(11:08):
when you're each other tries to help with your stuff
and like when you've got a brainstorm ideas for a project,
do you want Carter's opinions and vice versa? Definitely, Like
we both love to each other for advice and he's
so supportive of me, and that's so important, you know,
when you're a couple and partners to lift each other

(11:31):
up and just support each other in any way. Have
either of you had an idea and then you brought
it to the other one and the other one just went, no,
you can't do that. Um, I'm trying to think. I
think the only time was like last week when we

(11:52):
were in the team, my team meeting with my media company,
eleven eleven Media, and we're talking about all these huge
deals that we're doing, and um, then I was just
sitting there and I was like, I want to do
Like where is it I want to do something like this?
I'm like holding up this phone holder thing that I
always used because I hate holding my phone. It's like

(12:13):
I want this and holographic, like my Slive mobile and
like my Sliving spa, like all holographic and like people
don't have to hold their phones and you can have
like all these like cool phone accessories because like I'm
known for inventing the selfie, so like I don't know,
just like a bunch of like cool phone gadget things.
And he was just like Paris were literally talking about

(12:35):
like mull time, multime, like million dollar deals, like we're
not wasting our time on a freaking iPhone holder. I'm like, honey,
like I like my phone's like it's part of my
like brand and my ethos. And then I don't know.

(12:55):
It was the only time that he ever said it
was He's like, it's not a bad idea, it's a
great idea. But he's like, I just we have to
focus on the big things, like whatever I'm gonna do
my how, I'm just gonna make it myself. Yeah. I
like his mindset. We get the billions first and then
we work on, you know, the hundred thousand dollar ideas. Yeah.

(13:17):
I just want to help people out. I don't even
care about the money anymore. I just want people to
be able to enjoy their lives and not get that
technic thing that people are getting from looking down at
their phones all the time. And I don't know if
people are getting things in their hands like carpal time.
I don't know. There's something. I keep hearing things about
phones and I don't know. And the radiation is that true.

(13:39):
I'm so scared of that, like when the phone is
at your ear because I literally have pretended to be
on the phone a billion times when I'm shy and uncomfortable,
when I'm walking through crowds and I'm trying to get
some more fast, I'll like do the phone trick. And
then someone told me recently like, oh my god, you
need to get this thing on your phone that blocks
radiation because cancer goes into your ears. When I was

(14:02):
like what, and I wasn't sure she was joking. There's
nothing that you can put on your phone that's gonna
block the radiation. But it's apparently such a small amount
of radiation that they say, I forget what the statistic is,
but you walking out into the sun is like the
equivalent of having your phone next to your head for
like a week. What the sun? The Sun's full of radiation.

(14:24):
The only thing that stops the radiation from killing us
is our ozone layer, which is depleting way too fast.
I know, parents, We're sorry to make this sad, but
that's the truth. Do you get radiation when you're on
a plane too. I mean, there is like the theory
of your closer to the sun and the ozan, but
barely in terms of how far ozone layer is wait
not not really. Um, I think the the unfortunate truth

(14:48):
is we're all going to die at some point, and
you are going to live longer than almost everybody else
on the planet because of how good you are to yourself,
to your body and your skin. So the last thing
you should do is worry, because if anything's going to
kill you Paris, it's stress. It's not my iPhone. No,
the thing that's going to kill you is your schedule
long before it's Oh no, I don't say that, I'm

(15:09):
not going I can't even find what you need to
prioritize as much mental health balancing as you can, which
I know you do, but that's the thing that's going
to take away years off your life, far before it's
your phone or the sun or anything else, because you
do have such a busy life, and I know you're
good about taking care of yourself, but the getting as

(15:31):
much stress out of your life as possible should be
like a priority. Great, well, my schedule is booked up.
So basically, yeah, no, you're fine. And again you're also
I feel like, as we're still in our very much
younger years, uh, our body has that capacity. But I

(15:56):
think especially when you start having your kids, and the
amount of just that that's going to add on your life.
I really hope you prioritize yourself. Yeah, well that happens,
I'm definitely gonna want to be at home with my
kids and not work as much or travel as much
for sure. Of course, this is Paris, Paris. This one's

(16:22):
from Angel who says, would you ever do a reboot
of The Simple Life? They have called and offered that
so many times every year, once a year, literally, Um, yeah,
I haven't offered it a lot of times. Then they've
asked me like, oh, like what about like you picking

(16:42):
the people to recreate it for and then you pass
on the throne to two other people and then they
look and I try to help them. There's like they're like,
there's no one who can do the show like you
and Nicole Like it's just like you, like people try
to copy the original, but there's nothing like the original.
And that's shows just so iconic and timeless and funny

(17:03):
and everything, and I love it so much. But yeah,
Nicole and I are schedules now are like she has
her kids, like we're all grown up, Like I'm married,
like we I can't imagine us both having to leave
our houses and like go on to like I don't know,
the liddle of nowhere again. It would just be too

(17:25):
hard to leave our families. I would like to see
you on like bear Grills, what like the Bear Grills
show where he brings like celebrities into the woods and
they have to like you have to eat like a
fish while it's still alive. I'd love to see that.
That's so mean. Okay, I find no fish, but you
have to like forge mushrooms and like cook the mushrooms

(17:45):
in like a bowl of dirt or however he Oh
my god, I'd be so scared of that. Mushrooms well,
like they're good mushrooms. He knows what to pick. They're
like healthy, like normal, because I would not want to
do that. Other on your episode might be scaling down
a waterfall, uh, making an igloo that you have to
sleep in, and foraging mushrooms and berries. You have to

(18:07):
make mushrooms in very so bad of at the end
of the day with a fire you made. Okay, I
could do all of that because I did that at
a cent for three months in the mountains what and
literally had to carry like a hundred and twenty pound
backpack or something crazy and make tents, make fires, do
all of that at one of those places in the

(18:29):
trouble teen industry. It's been closed down because there's been
a lot of deaths. But no, I was there for
three months, living in the middle of nowhere, and I'm
a fucking badass warrior. I would love if you went
on like one of those shows, like the Bear Grills show,
and he's like really kind of babying the situation because
he doesn't want to, you know, make you uncomfortable. And

(18:49):
he's like showing you how to chop something and you
go hold on bit you're holding the axe wrong, and
then you just take it. I think he'd be very surprised.
That's like a cute idea. I love that. I've always
wanted to do a show called camping with celebrities and
give them like a one day in like partner with
the National Parks and get like the most beautiful view

(19:10):
and have people see that like, oh, these people are
really good at other things. So what was that some
peophen camping or give me a camping story pairs. I
don't really go camping that often. Like, after being at
that place, I was so traumatized from it. UM. But
when I was doing this Simple Life UM season five,
I was at this family's house and I brought they

(19:32):
wanted to go camping, So instead of camping, I brought
them to a Hilton hotel and I had it all
set up with like the tent and like a little
like fake fire in the middle of the room, and
like we brought in like a little stove thing and
had like the s'mores, and then I also had these
like two little baby bears and they little boys were

(19:55):
so excited just like go on their first camping trip.
It wasn't a Hilton hotel whatever I guess glamping, but
we made it like so cute. It was just like
this like literally campsite inside of the suite at the
hotel like it was camping. No, it was more glamping.
Even glamping is still like you're just in a bigger
tent and you kind of have like showers nearby, but

(20:17):
you were in the Hilton hotel. It's to me, that's
such a funny way to go camping, but a very Parisuay. Okay,
you're busy. We've already talked about that. So my final
question is from Abby, who says, what's the best business
advice you've ever been given? Mm hm. Given a lot
of good advice, but I think the best advice is

(20:40):
too really do your research into who you partner with
or who are you're working with, because especially in this town,
there are a lot of people who are just talkers
and they really are just liars and connartists. So you
have to be really careful because a lot of people

(21:02):
talk a lot of talk, but they don't know how
to walk the walk or make anything happen. Um. So yeah,
my advice is to always really look into people. And
now with the internet, it's very easy to do that
and you can see if there's anything shady about them,
because you don't want to associate yourself with someone like
that because if you're just starting out your business, it's

(21:22):
going to ruin your name and ruin your brand right
at the beginning of it, and that's just it's hard
to come back from things like that, and you know,
build a consumers trust and um, yeah, I think that's
a good piece of advice, just to only do business
with good people. Yeah. Before we did this podcast together,

(21:43):
and you know, we kind of talked about the idea
of me co hosting with you. I had to google
who is and there was like zero results. I was like,
all right, I guess I'm going into this blind. Turns
out you're awesome and that worked out really well. Forever everybody,
you got lucky? Are you not really lucky? Well? Speaking
