Speaker 1 (00:01):
This is Paris. Hey guys, so today we have a
very special guest, my girl bb Rexa. Hi, gorgeous, Hi,
welcome to my podcast. I'm so excited. I'm so happy

(00:22):
that you're here with me at the house. I'm so
happy toes the dogs and everything is perfect. Yeah, we're
gonna go to the doggy mansion after this, and you're
gonna meet everyone the doggy mansion. Yes, I just felt
so much poorer after that. I don't even have a mansion.
A little bear has to come over and have a
little play date with the puppy, remember bears be. She

(00:45):
was trying to. She actually try to jump into the
car on the way here as it. Nope, you're not coming,
because she's so used to coming every with me. I
was like, we're not doing that. I'm not going to
have you ruined Paris's house and I'll have to end
up paying like for something super expensive. I have six dogs.
So dogs, what are their names? Kind we know or
is it private? And of course um what we have

(01:08):
Parajuku bitch Dead that's the one, um Crypto and ether Ream,
which is like ethereum ones is another one that's cute.
Let me that's trying to beat and Diamond Baby is
the queen of course and Livington after sliving, I'm dead,

(01:32):
I'm not. Is that six cute and you're despair? It's
just fair so basic child. Yeah, I know. I mean
I was talking about the name, but I want to
get another dog, but I don't. I tried. I fostered
to little puppies and she was just I don't know
if I can curse, but she was the biggest bitch. Yeah,
she was the biggest bitch. She's so jealous, like she's like,

(01:56):
I'm the queen of the house. Who are these and
his brother and sister. But it didn't work out, but
they were so cute. They ended up Okay, they got
good parents. That's nice. Yeah. Yeah, I think a lot
of dogs get like that, especially Diamond Baby. As soon
as I get another one, she always just like hates
them for like a couple of weeks and then they
like warm up. Do they sleep in the mansion or
do they sleep with you? Or how does that work?

(02:17):
Diamond Baby sleeps in bed with me and my fiance
and the other ones sleep and they have another house,
not out of the house, another room with all their
little pet beds, and that's so cute. I love them.
There's so many coyotes here, so you have to keep
them in now, Yeah, of course are you kidding me?
Of course beyond So how is life? Life is good?

(02:41):
You know. I had a crazy day today because the
album came out and I've been doing promo since three am.
And this is my last stop and it's only Yeah,
it's insane, yeah, because we were doing like europe European
promo and I can't even talk on like um, but
you're my last stop and this is the best way
to end the day, save the best for last. Yeah.

(03:01):
Every time I come here, I always feel like kind
of like and that Paris and I see that like
the pink the pink Bentley, and I'm like, which I
just asked you? It was like, do you ever really
drive it? No? It just sits there, It just is there.
I'm like, yeah, I just keep the Bentley up front
because it looks cute. Well, I could drive it for
you if you ever need to, just because they say
if you let a car sit too long, it's not

(03:22):
good for it. All right, I'm sure you have somebody
drive it to Like, I don't know, I just I
just think it's so cute. And how many cars do
you have? Do you know? I have a lot of them,
but they're like in storage because I used to have
eight cars here in the driveway, and since I live
in a gated community, They're like, this is not MTV cribs,
like you cannot have this many cars, like but you

(03:43):
know the exact number like in storage and stuff like nine, Okay,
I have one? Do you even drive though? Sometimes? Like
the Slivemobile I like to drive even though it's a Slivemobile.
The other one downstairs, the holographic one that want so cool?
I know, well, I mean it's just it's fun to

(04:03):
me because but um, like, I mean I feel like
I'm asking you the questions. It's like beause I want
to know. I want to know. I like, you know
your Paris Hilton. I want to know, like like why
not if you anything? Well this is my question, Like okay,
So um like okay, So let's say you like you
wake up and you're like I want I feel like,
let's say you just want to drive. You could just

(04:23):
pick whatever, like you'll like you'll tell your manager or
assistant or something and say, can you go get this car?
If I really wanted to, but I usually just like
the slipmobile for now because I love WS. Okay, got it,
got it, got it. But if I wanted to, I could,
but it's just kind of a pen in. They asked
to be like, I go get it from like story,
got it, got it? Got it? Yeah, that's fun. I

(04:45):
got nine cars and put on the storage. You will
one day. What's your a boss, bitch? I want to go, yeah,
I am. You're right, You're right, I am a boss, whitch?
So are you? You know what? I heard someone you
say the other day a quote and it was fire
and the girl was like, you're not a boss. She's like,

(05:07):
you know, you know when you're a boss because you know,
like everybody's like boss boss. She's like, you're a boss.
And it was like this badass like lawyer chick. She's like,
I'm a boss. She's like, you know, what's a boss
When you actually pay people and they can actually like
afford to live. That's what's a boss. That's what a
boss is. And I was like, yes, pitch, that means
I'm a boss. I'm a boss. And I was like

(05:28):
feeling myself. I'm like I am a boss. I love that.
So congratulations on your new album. I've been listening to
it all morning and I'm obsessed. It's so sad. Thank you.
Um it's been like, oh my gosh, we're working on
it for so long. And the hardest thing was during
quarantine is like sitting on it for a year. It

(05:49):
was so tough, but it just didn't feel right to
put it out, you know, especially like during the time
and my parents got sick. It was just like not
a good time. So now I feel like the world's
opening up slowly and everybody's getting healthier, thank god, and
obviously you know, so um yeah, I'm just really excited
to have it out and like seeing what the fans
love and just good energy, like you know, energy you

(06:12):
could tell like when people were like you know, so
I'm like, okay, it's feeling good. It's feeling good, Okay,
no bad vibes. So I'm really happy about that. I
have to make a confession. It's very hard to focus
with your diamond ring. I'm sorry, but it's like you
know what I mean, Like I try, You're not trying,
you know, like you okay, like okay, So like growing
up obviously, like I was this like, you know, we

(06:34):
didn't have any money at all, so like you know,
like probably probably won't you know, like you probably don't
understand never mind, but like I would like I'll tell
you what I felt like when people have like crazy
rings on, I try not to look at them. I'm like,
I don't want to look at the ring because I
don't want to, like, but I can't. Honestly, I can't
stop looking at them. It's so sickening. It's like insane.

(06:57):
Thank you. Whenever I'm in a bad mood, I just
like look down and it's sparkling my eyes and like, yes,
such a sick ring. How many carrots? Is it? Like
twenty something? This is so romantic, Like all be happy
if I can I read inside, But you can't. You
can't put it on. You know, it's bad luck to
have somebody where you're ring, right really because like a

(07:17):
million people but are on Oh my gosh, what the
little is that a pink diamond or what what is that?
Like pink pink sapphire? I think, yeah, that's cute. Wow,
it's romantic. What does your boyfriend do? He's like a
venture capitalist and he I don't know what that means
but that sounds very expect He's like a boss, like literally,

(07:41):
like I've never been with a guy like this in
my life. Really, Yeah, I finally have my equal. That's
so sweet. And I feel that way about my boyfriend too.
He's so amazing. How long have you guys been together?
Like two years? But people think it's been less because
we don't don't really talk, we don't go out and
be seen, like you know, if I put a post
up or something like that, if I feel like he's
on his best behavior, then I'll do a little cute

(08:03):
post or whatever. Um. But yeah, he's such a cool guy.
Like I met him at this Victoria's Secret Um thing
we were doing, um yeah, because he's a cinematographer and
he usually shoots a lot of the stuff. And yeah,
so he is kind of like gets on my nerves sometimes,
you know, but I love him. Like lately I've been
kind of like I'm mad at you and I love you,

(08:25):
you know, So that's that. That's good. It's nice to
have someone that you love and like, yeah, you know,
like after like the day it's like always constantly on
on on on on, and like when the day ends,
it's kind of nice. To like be able to talk
to somebody about like like like you know, like take
like when I take my makeup off and like just everything,
take my courset off, take my shoes and just be

(08:47):
like this is me, Hi, let's talk about the day.
And um, I can actually like complain and stuff and
not be worried, you know what I mean, like being judged.
So is this like your relationship where you are feeling
good about it or have you had other ones where Yeah,
I feel like this has been the most like stable one.

(09:11):
You know. It's like it's it's taught, like it's it's
been kind of hard, um, especially like that I've been
working so much. And I'm sure you know too, and
it's like also tough too. It's like I don't know,
I just really I have a trust I have trust issues,
like big trust issues. I just feel like, um, I
mean it's tough in l A. You know, it's like

(09:32):
through hell and back. Like I'm sure I know how
it is. I'm sure. Um. And then I could only
imagine like being in the like industry and like trying
to dat like in the public eye, and I would
just like literally lose my shoe because it's like so
much more pressure. If like you want to like break
up or something, that's why I try to keep it
kind of or if they embarrass you. My biggest thing,

(09:56):
I'm embarrassed. I want to kill. Yeah. I was like
low key like dating some buddy to be not to
not name them, and um, they were another celebrity and
they didn't want to be seen out with me. And
then literally like a week after they were like out
on the beach like with a model while we were

(10:17):
like dating, Yeah, what did you say? I was heartbroken
and like you know, because I don't like nobody really
knew and we were just like and I was so heartbroken.
I was like this sucks. That was the first time
that I was like this sucks. This is up. It's
kind of like messed up. It's like imagine, like you know,
whatever I have been through so much, I can understand,

(10:39):
like the guys in this town. Or I think, like
I love l a love the weather, and I think
when you meet the right people, it's like cool here
if you have the right squat around you. But other
than that, just keep your family close and like your
best friend and like you know, like like people that
are loyal to you. That's what I have learned because

(11:01):
like as much as like now I'm starting like I'm
gonna get because I've been up since three am I
told you, like and now I'm gonna just start like talking.
This is talk my moment. But I feel like Paris,
like this is one thing, like as like just a
girl in l a like and you could like help
me out, like as if we're sisters. I don't know
what to do because I feel like I try to
reach out to other people and like try to be

(11:22):
friends with other Like I'm not saying I want to
be like friends with just celebrities, but I feel like,
you know, to have that relationship of like just like
even being able to hit somebody up. The only person
that I've been able to hit up who's really helped
me is Alicia Keys, like really like actually guided me
through stuff like business stuff too, and she's just so calm.
But I feel like I've been trying to hit up
so many people and it's always just like yeah, let's hang,

(11:44):
let's hang, let's hang, let's hang, and like the hang
never happens, and I'm like, am I like tripping out
and it just kind of sucks. And now I just
kind of gave up on it. And I just have
my best friend, my one best friend, and he's a stylist,
but we don't work with each other. That's our rule.
But I'm like, I'm just I'm just tired of like
reaching out, you know what I mean. So I'm like,

(12:05):
I don't know, what do you What do you think
I should do? Well, I'll hang out with you because
I think you're because you think I don't want to.
I don't want to know. I don't want you to
hang out with me because you feel bad for me.
I think you're so fun, like when we were just
together a few weeks ago shooting that thing that's going
to come out soon, Yes it's a surprise. That was

(12:26):
just so much fun. I just love your energy and
your vibe and you're just like real and dope and authentic.
And I don't really have a lot of friends I trust,
so it's hard, especially like chicks, because I'm super like
I'm super like I want to like, I'm really super
women empowerment like vibes, and I totally get it because
like being a female also like you can get really

(12:47):
easy like being super competitive, especially me with like other
like other females, Like I've been competitive in the past,
but now I'm kind of like just like I want
to see you win, like everybody win, like do your thing,
Like there's enough room for everybody. But a lot of
times I just like bummed because I'm like, I want
to like hang out with a lot of those girls,
but I get it there are a lot of them
are busy and stuff like that, but a lot of times,

(13:07):
like it's just so hard, Like I'm just like, be
my friend. I wouldn't take it personal though I know
I know you're right, you're being too sensitive, Like I
really believe like anyone would love to hang out with you,
but every schedules are crazy saying and some people are flakes,
and then some people are just just or they're just like,

(13:28):
well I was something. It's like I felt bad, Like
I honestly, you're kind of right, because one time I
had um, another big artist female invite me out, and
I kind of freaked out because I was nervous, Like
I was really nervous. I don't know if no she
invited me like with her her and her boyfriend were
like doing something at the beach, and she invited me

(13:49):
and my boyfriend and I kind of freaked out and
I didn't go. I don't know, I just got nervous,
like anxious, you know, i'd be they're anxious too, And
you're right, right, You're right. You never know what someone's thinking.
You're right. I'm really sensitive. I'm a virgal and im
pmss ng right now too. Sorry, So that's like the
three am with the PMS is just not the vibe. No,

(14:11):
it's never a vibe. Well, I think that I don't know,
just after watching you and just seeing what you're doing now,
I just feel like I love how open you are.
And I think that just the way that you're so
open about how you speak about your life and what
you're going through, and that's nice for other girls and

(14:33):
people to know that they're not alone, because a lot
of people are too shy or they just don't want
to talk about things, and to see how you're just
such an open book. Yeah, because I feel like everybody's
going through something right like or most likely going through
the same exact thing. Yeah. I literally was never vulnerable
in my entire career until my film with my documentary,

(14:54):
that was the first time I opened up and thank you.
It was like sick and then like just also like
meeting you, I was like, this girl is a I
keep carsing. I don't want to carse all that. I'm like,
but this girl is a fucking boss, like you know
what I mean. Like people, Yeah, like a lot of
mad respect, Thank you so much. Same here. So that's

(15:19):
I think. It's it's hard to be vulnerable and honest,
but it's so empowering, like it's an amazing feeling. And
then to see how many people come and speak to
you and say I feel the same way, and I
don't know, I just feel like a new person. Yeah.
So it's a good feeling. And I feel like I'm
I'm drinking the coffee constantly, but it's so good. I know,
it's so good. It's like so delicious. I mean, you

(15:41):
said something so meaningful and I'm like, the coffee is
so good. But no, but yeah, I totally agree. Sometimes
when I like say something, I get scared because I'm like,
I don't want people to think I'm like literally like
a bitch or crazy, but I just can't help it.
Like I've had people in my career in the past
be like you need to smile more, and you need
to like stop doing this and do this and do
this and this, and I just never listen to them.

(16:04):
I'm just like okay, sure, and then don't do what
they say because I just don't have time. And now
that I turned thirty, I was like, I just don't
have I don't care, like I just don't have time. Unapologetic. Yeah,
I'm unapologetic exactly. I'm very unapologetic. It's such a good
way to be because I feel like I don't know,
for so long, women have just like listened and like,

(16:28):
so here's something interesting. So like I am Albanian, like
both parents and in our culture, I grew up in
New York and in our culture, um my mom got
married at seventeen, it's like a completely different world, right,
she got married at seventeen. My grandmother got married like
fifteen or something like married off like arranged marriage. And

(16:48):
um my mom had to me when she was eighteen.
So we basically grew up together. And it's completely changed now.
It's so much more modern. Women have so many more
rights and stuff like that. But when I would is younger,
like there was literally guys trying to like get my
take my hand in marriage, like it was legit, I
swear like people don't know. Like if I actually told
the stories and people knew the stories, they would be

(17:10):
like there's no way. But it was part of the culture.
It's like, you know, you married Albanian, you get married
super young, you have kids and legal to get married.
I don't think so, I mean like in Albania. I
think I don't know if it's changed now in Macedonia Albania,
but um, back in the day, like yeah, they didn't care,
Like I know, I know, but um, you know, growing up,

(17:33):
I wasn't really allowed to have a voice or like
speak at the dinner table and stuff like that. But
my mom was like no, Like she fought for me
a lot and was like you're like, my daughter is
not like getting married off with the hell, Like we're
not making that mistake, Like you're like she would do
things where she would like save money up for me,
like save five hundred bucks to get me into the studio,

(17:55):
you know what I mean, or like asked my uncle
and then have to pay him back and do things
like on the d L And she really helped me
so much and then she's so proud now yeah she's
here in l a right now. She's like she's with
my dog at home. But yeah, like I was just
like even just like I know this sounds corny, but
like she's so I always like try to like fly
her out like first class or like take care of her.

(18:16):
But she's like, no, don't waste money because she feels
like she's you know, that's how she grew up with
like eight seven siblings. But I flew her here business
class and she's like, you shouldn't have done that, And
I just want to give her taking her on vacation
to the Caribbean, Like I just want to, like, you know,
I'm getting her house. Yeah it's like no, but like
I want to, like, you know, take care of her
because she took care of me. Because that's the She's

(18:38):
the only reason why I'm here right out legit Like
talent is like yeah, talent, and like, you know, I'm
very blessed. But she's like definitely, Yeah, she's the original.
O G. I love that my mom and I are
super close to My mom is with my dad's and
she's fifteen had me at nineteen, so we've just been same. Yeah,

(19:00):
I mean my mom grew up basically like grew up
with each other. We made mistakes together. You know, I
love hate relationship with her. Sometimes I love her, sometimes
I hate her. But she's just trying her best, you know,
like she's just always been trying her best. And um,
she's also like kind of my worst critic, but like
my number one cheerleader. Like if I if I mess
up or like do something stupid. Girl, She's she came

(19:24):
to like she's like do do do do? Do? Do?
Do this? What's going on with the house? Why is this?
You know, makes a list of things with Then when
I do well, she's like, you killed that. I was like, thanks,
you need people like that in your life too, because
I'm sure it's being in this industry there's so many Yes,
people need someone it's going to say. No, I was
gonna say, what's right, yeah, because I'm like, yeah, I

(19:48):
can't do the like you look so amazing, like you know,
like if they don't mean it, I hate that, but no,
I can tell when people are just saying something. But
that's just part of this business. This is Paris, This
is Paris. So your album Better Mistakes is your most

(20:12):
vulnerable album. What is your favorite song on it? Mm hmm,
I really really love Break my Heart Myself and Travis
Barker's playing drums on it, and um, I just wondered
about because I was kind of at a place in
my life where, um, I was just well, first, it's
like my favorite sound on the album. It's like more

(20:33):
pop rock, and that's why, like what I grew up
listening to, like paying Gwen Stefani no doubt, like that
was my like that was like my jam. Like yeah,
like when I'm Just a Girl came out, I was like,
is this like my anthem or what? Like I felt
like alive. Um So Break my Myself kind of gives
me that feel of like that kind of angsty vibe.

(20:54):
But I have been I've just been like dealing with
a lot of like throughout my life anxiety, like just
like judging myself, overthinking like a lot of like and
and then it's just like really hard on myself, you
know what I mean, like always like second guessing myself
with decisions and stuff. And then I came to a
point where I was like, wait, I just don't have

(21:15):
time for anyone's bullet anymore. And I said to Justin Trander,
who was in the room, incredible songwriter and I was
like justin like I don't have time for anybody to
break my heart. I could break my heart myself. I've
broken my heart myself many times. If anybody wants to
be my enemy, they can't because I've been my own
worst enemy at times. And it's basically an anthem of

(21:36):
being like, don't even try to come around me, because
like it's because like I don't have time for this,
Like I like, I don't need you to come break
my heart. I don't need anybody to hurt me, like
I've hurt myself more than anybody else else ever can.
But it's more of like not in like a it's
kind of like sarcastic in a deep ped up way,

(21:57):
but it's kind of more of like empowering of like
this is who I am, and I'm owning like what
I've gone through and who I am, and I don't
I don't want to deal with anybody's bullsh And then
I sent it to Travis Barker and he killed it
and he's like insane. I'm like, yo, You're an amazing drummer.
So that one and uh probably sabotage. It sounds so dark,

(22:19):
but I'm I like dark, I do. I like dark songs. Well,
I feel like you're just you're singing about what most
people think about but they're too scared to say in
real life. The lyric is of break my Heart Myself. Hello,
my name is Stevie. Actually I'm lying, it's really baby.
It's the meds. They make me really sleepy. Kalon been

(22:42):
my friend. Yes, she numbs the feeling. My doctor up
my dosage. My mom felt bad, so she sent me
roses Without them, I get really hopeless. And five point
seven of Americans know it, And I'm like, that's like
can Like I wish more pop songs had lyrics like that,
like some real like that. So I'm super proud of

(23:03):
that song and that's why it's one of my favorites.
I love that because I think a lot of people
are going through that. I know a lot of people
who have that disorder. It's something that people have been
I don't know. There's like a stigma around it, and
you're making people be proud, like you can talk about
that scared you know what it is. Um. I think

(23:23):
that like that for a lot of like mental illnesses
and a lot of mental things, Like I think there's
like um confusion, like people don't know like exactly what
they are, like what the like what the illnesses are
and what. So like that's why I'm like, I've been
working a lot with like I'm not trying to name
drop like Pinterest, like I've been working with Pinterest. I'm
trying to put positive stuff up, like on my Pinterest board.

(23:44):
So we did something together, and then like even like
with dede Hirsh, like we've been working with just like
a ton of like Nami, like a lot of really
cool foundations and companies too, like because this is, by
the way, it's Mental health month May, so I've been
doing a lot of stuff that. So I've been just
trying to like break the stigma because also like I've
done it too. I'm like she's so bipolar. Like when

(24:06):
I say that, and then I'm like, you know what,
you could still say stuff I'm not saying, but like
but it's like now I now I get it, Like
I'm like, oh, I can't say that stuff because it's
like wrong, you know, like you know, like when you
when people think it's like when you say by polar
it's like changing your mind. It's not really that. It's
just about being sad sometimes and then being happy. That's
what it is. It's not about I love it, I

(24:27):
hate it. That's not bi polar. So I think people
need to like what it is. Is like I'm like,
I could feel really happy for a couple of months
and then I could be really bummed for a couple
of months, and it's just like trying to control trying
to control it. Which I'm in a good place right now. Happy. Yeah,
I'm good. I love that I got the meds right finally.

(24:52):
And I love that you just write about that you
write every single song. Yeah, some songs, no, will come
some songs actually will come in from my friends who
are songwriters, and they'll have a hook or something like that,
or like a verse or like a part, and I
or like or I'll hear a song. Somebody could even
send me one, because I'm not like the type of
person that's like I can only write everything from scratch.
Sometimes people will send me ideas and um, I'll be like,

(25:15):
oh my god, this is amazing, but I think that
this pre course could be better, or this hook could
be better, or this line could be better, or the leader.
I love the melodies with the lyrics could be better.
So I'm like super open like with anything, but a
lot of my favorite thing is writing from scratch, like
break my heart myself. It was just like us in
the room with a guitar, like that's it. I love
all your lyrics. I love your voice. You have one

(25:37):
of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard in my life.
Thank you Angelic. Okay, cool, I'll sing in the Name
of Love at your wedding. And my good that's actually
my favorite. Oh my god. Really he is such a sweetheart.
He's such a sweetart I know. I feel like he's
like you know, I remember like when we were like
touring and um, that was such a cool time when

(25:57):
we were like performing in Europe and stuff, and when
I was in his hometown and just we went out
one night to the club. It was just so like
we had the best time ever. I think one time
we went to the club and from what I remember,
and it was a whole bunch of us friends and um,
there was this like one of the like we were
like having the time of our life and then we

(26:18):
were about to go and like like jump to another
club or whatever, and then one of the girls just
threw up in the car and ruined the whole night,
Like the whole car was like massed up, so mad.
It's sock win the whole night. I love Martin, He's
so sweet. That song is so sick. That's like one

(26:38):
of my favorite songs to play in my DJ sets. Really, yes,
I UM, that's probably one of my favorite songs to sing,
like vocally. That's like the part of the show where
people are like, oh, like literally, did you perform at
Ultra with him? Where was Ultra? Yes? Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.

(26:59):
I had to wait outfit. Yeah. It was so epic.
It was so cool. I was so nervous because when
I went when I went to UM, when I was
went on stage because we hadn't rehearse, I like flew
in from l A and then he had his rehearsals obviously,
but I literally just walked in and they were like, so,
don't pass the you know, don't pass the yellow line
because then you'll get burnt because that's all pyro. And

(27:19):
I'm like, I literally go on stage or like the
square like a little square, and like the square was
literally like I mean like so tiny, and I was like,
I can't even go anywhere this is so awkward. So
I was like just jumping in the same spot during
the drops. I felt so awkward, but I was just
kind of like low key scared. And I feel like
in some parts of that performance you could hear it

(27:40):
in my boys like I was because I was not
used to it, like the pyro and stuff like that,
Like that's like budget, you know. Now it's like I'm
used to it. Yeah, that's like budget, you know. Like
I was lucky if I was getting Cairo at that point,
you know, like the fog, like the fog. So that
was a really epic moment. That was so fun. I
love that festival. I miss it. I remember I saw

(28:01):
Sweetie Mafia there the last show there. That was iconic, iconic.
I had like one of those like I don't even
know how I got to the like I got a
booth or something like that. I was with my friend
actually and um I had the best seats and it
was like, yeah, it was like the best time in
my life. So I missed all that and I was

(28:21):
like I didn't drink that night. I did. I was
completely sober, and it just felt like the best high ever.
I was like, this is insane, but that show. It's
like you don't even need to drink. It's like you
just so good. Yeah, you just feel like you're floating.
It was literally like it was amazing the energy. I
remember that night very clearly. What are your favorite music
festivals to go to? Um? Can I be honest with you?

(28:43):
I never was allowed to go to music festivals. But
I could tell you what do you mean not allowed? Well,
I mean I was in New York, so there was
really nothing. Like I feel like they're all like, what's
in New York? Never? What? No? Never? I never went
have to go? I know, Oh I performed at Coachella. Oh,
but you never like went, so you always just have

(29:04):
worked and you never like walked around after her before.
Um no really no, I know that sounds so bad,
but I um performed at Coachella with Eminem. We did
the Monster together, which is a really cool circle around
the moment because I never even met Eminem after I'd
written this song, Like, I never even met him, and

(29:26):
I think he wanted Rihanna to come out but she
couldn't make it, so he had he had me go
and sing and that was really cool. That song is sick.
That was a really cool moment. He's so amazing. Yeah,
that was sick and um but I have you ever
heard of the Warp Tour? Yes? I did the Warp Tour.
That was fun. That was a very interesting That was
a very interesting time for that backup with DA that

(29:50):
was a hard one. Yeah, it was fun though. I
love music festivals. Have you been to Burning Matt, No,
I've heard of it. It's so sad. I know I
want to do Bernie me and I heard it's incredible.
I wanted when it opens up, I'm going with you.
I'll buy my own ticket and everything. But I just
need to know how you move there, because I'm sure

(30:11):
you have the whole thing downpacked. Because when I learned
about festivals to all about how you move and what like,
we're like, you know what I mean? Because one of
my friends told me that he literally what I'm just laughings, like,
I'm just thinking about that. It's true. Yeah, it's how
you all. How about how you move? He told me
that he doesn't even like he'll pay somebody and they'll
bring the like RV in and then he does a

(30:33):
certain way to I don't know what the hell he
was talking about, but he had like this whole thing
downpacked and I was like whoa. I was like damn.
I was like, okay, so you don't wait on the line.
I'm like thinking, like you wait on the line. He's
like no, He's like, we got a whole plan. And
that's what I learned about festivals. It's how you move.
It's like, you know how like what the vibe. There's

(30:56):
an art to it. There really is an art to
it for sure. Okay, well we need to do that.
Like I can't wait for the world to open. Yeah,
and I need to see you DJ live. I never
saw you DJ live. I can't wait for that. And
I hope the whole set is all me know. Yeah,
it's fun. We definitely play. You have new stuff coming out. Yes.

(31:21):
I was just actually with Kim Petris in the studio
last week of her Love Her Love, Her Love her
love amazing, sweetest. I loved her, I loved her new
I loved her album, the last album so good. Her
voice is insane, and she's so sweet and just so
down to earth and fun and I just love hanging
out with her. She's so cool. I've never I've never

(31:43):
met her, and I think I've met her in person once,
but I've never hung out with her, but she seems
really cool. Like when the album came out, she like
posted about a song it was like I love this
and I was like, that's so sweet, like stuff like that.
It's cool, you know. Yeah, she's the type that always
loves to support others. I like that. Els sometimes girls
just don't do that. And I love when people just
like lift each other up. We need we need that

(32:06):
more than ever. That's what I That's like. One thing
I've learned during quarantine is like being compassionate with yourself,
like don't be hard on yourself, like show yourself love.
Because we tell people all the time, oh my god,
I love your dress, I love your headphones, I love
your shoes, I love it. But it's like we really
tell ourselves that or like look in the mirror and
be like you're beautiful. No, but it works. It's corny,

(32:27):
but it works. Like I was like the other day,
I feel like I had a photo shoot and I
felt like because I just like I don't know, like,
you know, I have my moments. I have like my
yo yo moments, and I'll just like eat bad for
like two weeks and then two weeks, I'll work out
like crazy, like I just I'm human. And I was like,
I feel like my thighs got so big. And I
was like, you know what, I love myself even with
my big thighs right now, and that I gained some weight,

(32:49):
I was like, let's go, baby, We're gonna make today
our bitch. And it was a good day. Yes, it
was a good day. What else did you learn during quarantine?
I learned how to make incredible brownies Michael kN Um,
Like fudgie brownies. It's like basically like I had to
you have to put like a whole stick of butter in.

(33:10):
It's really good. It isn't that normal? I don't think so.
I don't know. I forgot. I've never made brownies. I
mean I've only made brownies from like with like olive oil. Um,
it's really healthy brownies, right Yeah, Like these ones are
like a stick of butter and they're like this small,
Like it's like they're incredible. Do you love to cook?

(33:31):
I love to cook? Are you kidding me? I'm like
the best cook ever. What's your favorite thing to cook? Um?
My favorite thing to cook? I love anything Italian, Like
I will tear that up like lasagna? Yes, what kind
of lasagna? Do you make? Sliving lasagna? So? What's living? Like?
I know? Living? But why the s s? Living? It's

(33:53):
a word I invented. It means slang and living your
best life. Oh cute, I didn't know that all. I
love it. Well, I saw you make your sliving lasagna.
Love it? Yeah, it looks very delicious, so that we
had to make it one day? Did you did? Be honest?
It tastes good? Insane? Really? Okay? Okay, well we have
to have a lasagna off because my lasagna is amazing.

(34:15):
But do you eat meat or no? Sometimes? Because I
make it amazing with the bolgna sauce. Yeah, I care
that I made rigatoni the other night. I'm gonna tell
you how I made it? Can I tell how I
made it? First of all, I like to go and
get fresh pasta. I'm like my whatever, like from Italy
or whatever. I love it too. It's like so expensive,

(34:38):
but I love it, but um, I'll get fresh pasta.
I'll talk, so I get fresh potsta. I love like
rigatoni because it has like the holes in it and
like the meat can go on there. So delicious. So
my stomach just went um. So I do this half
a stick of butter, but like really to kill it,

(34:58):
you know, like let's say if people coming over and
it needs to be delicious, half a stick of butter
heavy cream. First of all, how can you go wrong
with that? Already? That sounds delicious. Brown the butter a
little bit, like a little bit, throw the heavy cream
in there, and then I um. And then I put um,
like a lot of Parmesan cheese, like five handfuls of it,

(35:21):
like grated like a lot. And then I have my
favorite cheese that I it's from um Um, it's from Wisconsin.
It's like this octiago cheese, and I put it in there.
So I make like this like kind of like cheet
like a feed of cheenie, but like a cheese sauce, right,
and then I add my favorite um tomato sauce. And
then I take two cloves of garlic, wrap them in

(35:44):
flour of paper, throw them in the oven so roast them,
and then I take them out after thirty minutes, squeeze
them out so it's like nice, and I throw that
in the sauce. Now you have the read tomato sauce
with like the fota chini, sauce and the garlic, and
then in another pan, I'll take my meat and I'll
cook it. I'll saute it with onions, garlic, you know,
really brown that up. And then I just take that,

(36:06):
put it in with my sauce, close it, leave it
on for like however long I can like last without
eating it. And that's it fresh partially fresh basil. Take that,
cook it, cook the pasta, take the water out, leave
a little bit of the water, throw it in the sauce,
throw the pasta. Cook it in there. I'll then say, delicious.
What does this accent? I'm from New York. Yes, when

(36:29):
I started talking about food, I get the accent comes out.
Or when I get angry, Yeah, y'all I'm hungry. Now
I'm like, like, it's like, I hope it's not the coffee,
will be using your bathroom, blowing up your bathroom in
a second. I hope you got to hope you got

(36:50):
an extra bathroom. Sorry, I'm sorry, girl. You know that's hot, sexy,
suck all. I want to make a word up now, bbie,
what does that mean? Oh my god? I love that.

(37:12):
Can I ask you a question? Why is your mom
named you? Harris Is because she loves Paris. It was
actually a choice between Paris, China and Alexis. Oh no,
your Paris, you are Paris, you are Paris you. I
don't know my choices, so obviously already called me a baby.
But my real name is Bleta, which means bumblebee. And

(37:34):
the reason why it's because my grandfather saw me and
he said, wow, she has such a big guys, let's
call her bumblebee and Letta means bumblebee. But the options
were Blea or Esmeralda. I don't know if I would
be in Esmeralda baba okay good, because I was like Esmeralda,
like cute, but like I don't look like. I don't
think I'm an maybe with like my brunette hair. I

(37:57):
don't know, but um, I'm no. I love Esmeralda. By
the way, but I'm so glad that i'm baby. So yeah,
when did you change your name? I changed my name?
Um um, let's see. I changed my name in junior
high school because I was like, I feel like I
need like to brand myself. I wasn't Staten Island High

(38:19):
School in public school thinking about branding myself. But I wanted.
I wanted an easier name. Oh my god, my stomach. No,
I wanted to eat, Like what's going on. I'm like
falling apart, Like I'm like, um so, uh what was
I saying? I have such a bad I have such
a bad focus. Um, I mean to legit legit um

(38:42):
with the coffee is like not helping. Um. Yeah, So
I changed my name to b B because, like, I
don't know, I wanted it to be easier, and plus
everybody would kind of like mess up my name. They'll
call meat leta like not write stuff like it was
all like different off. Um, So I changed it to
baby because I thought it was cute, like babe because

(39:04):
I like the word kiki name kiki. But I was
like that's I just don't think that's it. And then
Babe was like it for me and that still goes
with your name because yeah exactly, and BB like two
bees and I was like that is so amazing. So yeah,
I used to love the store Baby me too. I
did a collaboration with them a while back. But yeah, um,

(39:25):
I used to wear the shirt with like the crystal
ont like that was it like with the pair of
jeans a little like belly showing like that was hot. Like, oh,
I'm not trying to cat steal your word, but it
was hot. It was really dope for the time, like
I was. It was such a like that was the
store like in high school, like you had to have
the shirt in every color you possibly could, like red, white, black,

(39:46):
like whatever. I still like me too, Like there's a
cute things. Yeah, there's some cute pieces. Um, like their
jeans are really cute and their shoes. Um. Yeah, yes,
this is Paris. This is seven nuts living questions. Oh gosh,

(40:10):
let's do it all right. First one, what is your
spirit animal? And why my spirit animal would be like
do do Is it just something that you feel like, yeah,
I would say a hummingbird. I love that because, um,
there's this hummingbird that is in my garden every morning

(40:34):
and the other day, like just the other day it
um like literally came up to my window, like my
living room window, like right up to it, and it's
always flying around me. Every time I leave the house.
It's like like flying down the street and it just
has a nest right in my yard like on the
top of like my tree. And it's like I think

(40:57):
I have that's my spirit animal because first and foremost,
they like fly really fast and they have a really
fast heartbeat. But then they're so cute and like I
don't just free, you know. Um, But I think that
I it's my spirit animal because I want to be
free and I continue to, you know, seek peace and

(41:18):
freedom and just like happiness. But I'm also like super
uptight and like super fast all the time. And I
talked really fast. It's crazy you said that, because I
have the same exact thing with hummingbirds. Um. When my
grandmother passed away, she told me like, don't worry, I'll
always be there. I'm gonna be a hummingbird. And then
when she passed away, all of a sudden, this hummingbird

(41:39):
would be following me everywhere, like we used to live
in Palm Springs together. It would come up to the
window like banging its beak, like following me around, like
looking around, like I go outside, and be like following me.
And I'm like, usually hummingbirds are really scared of people
come up to you. And I really believe it's her,
And I just did an n f T and I've
dedicated a whole a piece to her, and it's like

(42:01):
this like pink humming bird that's like flying, and it's
just every time I'm like walk downstairs because I had
these digital frames put up, so I just like go
down and look at her and see it, and it
makes me so happy that so maybe it's like a
spirit from your like maybe maybe I don't know. I
always like my grandfather passed away. I was really close
to him, and I always felt like he would. I

(42:24):
was like he must come back in some forms. But
I always thought he was like moths. I don't know,
that's not that's pretty. He's probably the humming bird, You're right,
maybe because it follows me like it's just literally doesn't go.
It's only around my house. And they don't do that usually,
I know, they usually run away people. It will literally
come in the middle of the street and just be
like like like fly around my head and I'm like this,

(42:45):
and you know what's crazy. People think I'm crazy, but
I'm like, look the hummingbird. And by the time they look,
it's gone. And I'm just like every time I like
look the hummingbird and they're like what and then it's
like gone, and they think I'm like crazy or something,
and I'm like I'm the only one who enjoys it.
Understand you completely. I love that story. Ken. What is

(43:05):
the craziest rumor that you've ever heard about yourself? That
my ass was done? It's not done. Um, it's something
called eating food and genetics, and um, I love to eat.
And my grandmother, who is sev also has a very
big ass. Believe it or not, Yes, yes she has.

(43:25):
I mean I shouldn't say about my grandmother. That's kind
of off, but but she's got hips and booty and
like she's still curvy. And I'm like, damn, Grandma, jeez,
she would love that. I think, yeah, she would. I'm like, Grandma,
you got it. Still, I know people love to make
up rumors like that. Beyond what is the worst day

(43:47):
You've ever been on? And why? The worst da I've
ever been on was with this guy who ended up
I don't know paris what he was on. I have
no idea, but he ended up taking his shirt off
in the restaurant like he was hot. I was like, Okay,
this guy is not like no, I don't know, like
both like both Like he was saying he was hot,

(44:10):
but I think he was trying, like I don't know
it was very weird, but I swear he legit. I thought.
I was like, I was like, am I going crazy?
Because like this doesn't seem like you know, when somebody's
like so like out of it, You're like, am I
the crazy one right now? And it was like the
weirdest thing, Like he took his shirt off in the restaurant.
I was like, this is so not like he kind
of did like a whole like reveal. I don't know,

(44:32):
it was weird. It was just I was like, please
get me out of here. I was like just so
and then plus he was like like minutes late and
he's like, hey, sorry, I was surfing and I was
like what, like the hell? Yeah? Never again? Was it
a nice restaurant or like random? No, it was a
nice restaurant like in New York City when I was
living in New York at the time. I don't remember

(44:53):
the name, but it was like nice, like a sit down.
It was so weird. I was like, people are weird.
People are weird. I'm like, is this normal? Yeah? But
he was like super like like you know, Upper East Side,
like rich kid, and he was just weird. I was like, okay, next,
So that one didn't work out. Yeah, definitely did not

(45:17):
your first kiss. You have one minute to tell us everything.
Oh gosh, um, what an awkward I was kind of late.
I was. I wasn't I was scared. Kiss you're sweet?
Um yeah, I was really like, I was kind of scared.
I was always scared. I was always like a music
nerd um. And Plus, my dad told me that if

(45:38):
I ever liked because he was always so like like word,
he was like, if you ever like kiss or touch
a boy, I'm going to kill you. Not kill you.
That's he didn't say that. He didn't say that, but
he's like I don't know what he said. Um, but
I was so scared and um, I was just scared
of guys. I don't know why. But it was a
very bad kiss. It was very bad. It like like

(46:01):
it was like not cute, Like it was just like
slobbery and um, there's like too much tongue trying to enter.
I was like not, I was like this sucks. It
was so confused. I was like, what's the point, you know?
But now when I kissed my boyfriend, I'm like, m
it's so important, Like it's about the connection. Yeah, Like

(46:24):
a kiss is like so if someone can like a
like a stuff like that, like a perfect like a
little like the energy like yeah, and then it has
to be the right movement and the right vibes, you
know what I mean. I hate when somebody goes all
in and like just tries to stick your tongue and
like no, like what the hell, like what do you
think this is? Like slobbery? And yeah, past, that's a

(46:46):
deal breaker for me. Can't look at that. Well, what's
a relationship deal breaker for you? Besides that? Um, a
relationship deal breaker if somebody can't um, I don't know
if somebody can't accept my career because like, um, I've

(47:06):
dated people in the past where like I just can't
deal with this, like it's too much? Could you stop?
I'm like stop? What like this is my life? Like
by that's it. If you can't accept my career or
even like my family, that's an important one to You
have to like my family and they have to like you,
Like if my mom doesn't like you, it's over for
you're done. You're done. D capital D capital oh capital

(47:29):
nd capital e done. No literally like she would literally
she's literally going to be like no, like she would
stop it dead in its tracks. I think she's just
trying to protect me. You know what's important to me too.
I think if your family, they're the one who is
always going to be there for you. And my mom
hasn't liked someone, and I don't listen to her. It

(47:50):
always like has enda really like she always like Mom
is always right, You're right. They know they know because
they've been. Moms know they've been. Uh, they're always like
ten steps ahead because I've been through it before. They
get it absolutely. First celebrity crush and current celebrity crush.

(48:11):
First celebrity crush was um, what was his name? He plays?
He plays and she's that. Can we google that? The
movie She's all that Freddy Prince Jr. I had such
a crush on him, but I know everybody did. He
was so cute and then, um, yeah, I love that
movie She's all that. Have you watched that? And she

(48:32):
was like the nerdy chick and then he made her.
I watched that like literally so much. It was like
not healthy. Um uh, maybe because I felt like I
could relate to her, But um, let me see up.
Current celebrity crush. I think, um, Harry Styles is really cute.
I have a little crush on him. I'm not gonna lie.
I saw him at the Grammys and I was like,

(48:54):
and he took a shirt off or something, and I
was like, well, this is making me feel some type
of way, and like that doesn't happen often. I was like, jeez,
you know, I like even Toll my boyfriend. I'm like,
I'm sorry, like he's hot, Like I have to like
just say that so it would be him. I like it,
like that your boyfriend's secure enough. Yeah, he laughs, he laughs,

(49:16):
And then he'll make a joke that's kind of like yeah,
trying to like kind of poke me back, and like,
don't even try. I get mad. He's like laughs at it,
and he's like, Okay, well then I'm gonna go like
after I'm gonna go date Margot Robbie. And I was like, go,
I would like to see you try, you know. I
was like, I would like to see you try, even
if let's see if you even make it past the door.

(49:40):
I love you and your top beauty secret top beauty secret.
I don't I mean let me think I mean like
something that's like like I don't only I'm not really
a secretive person. Paris. Well, something that you love like

(50:01):
to do, like um, like skincare or like I certain
hair mask conditioner. I don't know. Um me think for
like two seconds because I just feel like I've spoken
about all of it, don't or you've been up since
three in the morning. I get it. Um, I would say,
