Speaker 1 (00:01):
This is Paris. Yes, hey guys, it is much to
do a quick pod post because I just read the
amazing news Britney Spears father just petitioned to end her conservatorship.
This is such an unexpected turn. Um, I didn't think

(00:24):
anyone was expecting this, but it's just amazing to hear
to know that Brittany is another step closer to having
her freedom, which she deserves so much. And UM, yeah,
it's just been you know, these past months just watching
her really just come out there and be so strong

(00:44):
and so brave and finally hear her speak up and
speak her mind, and it's just really shows that the
truth shall set you free. And you know, just thinking
about her and just everything thing that I've been through
as well. Um, it really is so healing when you

(01:05):
tell your story and you tell your truth and you
hold others accountable for their actions and what they've done
wrong to you. And with myself, you know, speaking up
and talking about the abuses that I suffered, um, just
at the pro Vocanian school and other schools like it,
um as a teenager and um using my voice and

(01:29):
now because of that have helped change laws and now
you know, taking it to a federal level, and I'm
seeing Brittany do the exact same thing with herself and
her freedom, which she deserves so much. She's worked her
entire life, She's created her own empire. She's a legend,

(01:49):
she's an icon, and she has just been under this
control and this conservatorship for the past thirteen years and
it's not right and enough is enough And just seeing
her really just tell everything just exactly how it is,
and I I can't imagine how hard that was. Again,

(02:10):
I am just so proud and so happy for you, Brittany.
You deserve all the happiness and freedom in the world.
And I just want to say that I admire you
for your strength and just know that you're an inspiration
to so many others. And I'm so happy that justice
is being served and that you are finally going to

(02:32):
have what you've always wanted, just to have your life
back and be able to do the things that you
want to do and enjoy your life and everything that
you've worked so hard for. And um, it breaks my
heart just what has happened and what you've went through,
but you're just showing that you're really turning your pain

(02:55):
into a purpose and turning trauma into a triumph and
it's just such an incredible thing to see and to watch.
And I can't wait to see you soon. I love you,
I miss you, and I just can't wait for this
nightmare to be over for you and for you just
to finally feel free, because, as I just said, you

(03:19):
deserve it more than anyone and I love you, and
I just wanted to do this pod post and just
say how happy I was. And I got a bunch
of texts for my friends and they were all excited
reading this news, and as soon as I read it,
I was just blown away, so excited, and it just

(03:39):
made me just have this huge smile for Britt because
I just adore her and I am just I've been
thinking about this a lot. It's been something that's been
really bothering me and hurting my heart and so many
others around the world, and Britt, I just want you
to know that everyone loves you so much. You have

(04:01):
the most incredibly loyal and amazing fan base. They all
love you so much, and it's so cute just to
read all the messages that they write me, just on
Twitter and Instagram and just seeing just how much people
just look up to you, love you and just are
rooting for you, and we all are and you are

(04:24):
just making everyone so happy and so proud, and just
keep fighting, girl. We are all here to support you
and we will keep screaming it from the rooftops. Free Brittany,
you are the queen and yeah, so sending you lots
of love and to all the fans and everyone, thank

(04:46):
you all for supporting our queen. She is just such
an angel and the most important part is that she
gets back her freedom. But I also believe that people
shouldn't get away with what they've done. It's something for
people to think about. And I'm sure that they have
in there very scared and they should be, because no

(05:07):
one deserves to be put through what that girl has
been through. It's wrong and it's just it makes me
angratest to even think about it. But um, it looks
like the end of that is almost near, thank god,
after thirteen years, Like finally, Um what a nightmare, but
it's finally almost over and and I pray it as

(05:31):
all right. Well, I'm gonna go to bed, but I
just wanted to leave this pod post and just tell
everyone how excited I was for her. And some love
to our girl. All right, everyone else, see you soon.
I love you. Thanks for listening to This Is Paris.
