Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hey guys, it's Kaylie Shore and this is too much
to say, question it out you. Okay, So, like I
said on the last episode, UM, I'm gonna be taking
(00:23):
a little break from the podcast in the sense that
we're gonna be doing minisod's for the next few weeks,
so just like little tiny ones, um, while I explore
new new formats for the podcast and just kind of
try to revamp it a little bit. Like I already
know that I'm going to be doing some video content,
um and cross posting the podcast onto my YouTube as well. Um,
(00:47):
I'm just trying to get better at social media. I
used to be really good at it and then I
just I think I just got massive burnout from trying
to be a content creator. I had a post of
about it, and I did an episode about it as well,
but um yeah, it just has been exhausting and the
freaking algorithm just hates everybody right now, so like it
(01:12):
just sucks. So anyways, I'm trying to like, you know,
not lose my mojo. Remember that even if I don't
have a viral video every single day, I'm still a
legitimate artist. And um yeah, so on this episode, because
I'm working for the next month on trying to revamp
the podcast. I wanted to hear y'all's opinions about what
(01:34):
I could do uh differently and like what you've been
missing on the podcast, what you want to see. I
know that I've gotten a lot of requests for a
UM doing a Q and A and be interviewing my
manager Todd, so I have those ones down. But if
you guys have any ideas of like what you'd like
to see. I mean, you listen every week. I appreciate
you so much. You guys are the best. UM. I
(01:56):
definitely plans to do video content and kind of just
cross post the podcast more. Uh yeah, So if you
guys just have any thoughts about what you want to see,
reach out to me. UM. The best place to get
a hold of me is Twitter, d M s uh.
Instagram is kind of overrun by like random brands being like, okay,
(02:18):
we should collab. Um, I will give you three free
pieces of fast fashion clothing in exchange for ten posts,
and I'm like, fuck you, absolutely not. So yeah, so
Instagram is not a good place to get ahold of me.
Twitter is great. If you don't have Twitter, UM, reach
out to me on on Instagram and I'll be looking
(02:39):
for it. But um, I'm also gonna work on getting
a better system for you guys to talk to me
in that sense as well, because I was using community
for a while. To be completely honest, communities just like
super expensive for artists, Like it's an insane amount of money,
and I was like, I am spending money to have
one more app. That stresses me out. I need to
streamline this. So yeah, I want I want to hear
(03:01):
from you guys. I want to hear like what you
like in your favorite podcasts, what you don't want to hear. Um.
This is a moment where I am opening myself to
constructive criticism. So there's no such thing as being offensive.
You could literally but Kayleie ramble us and I'd be like,
that's a good note. I'm gonna work on that. Uh yeah.
So I think the biggest things you're gonna see moving
(03:23):
forward our cross posting and um more guests and they's
just a really cool Uh. I heart radio studio near
where I live in Los Angeles, So I'm like, okay,
I need to take advantage of that more. It's really cool.
It's a great place to shoot content because it just
looks like a very professional studio. I have a I
have a pretty nice at home set up. But now
(03:43):
that I can leave the house because you know, we
started this podcast during heavy quarantine. UM, I'm gonna do that.
I'm gonna feel like I have a big girl job.
So uh yes, So this was Mini sod one. There's
gonna be three more. But reach out to me. Let
me know what you guys want to see, and I
will see you next week. But don't go asking questions.
(04:04):
You do answer to I got to say no, I'll
tell it out. You do it.
