Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to today's edition of The Clay, Travis and Buck
Sexton Show podcast. Welcome at everybody to the Wednesday edition
of The Clay, Travis and Buck Sexton Show. This is
Buckham here in NYC. Clay on vacation for the week.
He's with the wife and kids having a great time
in Upper Michigan Mackinaw Island, which I hear is quite lovely.
(00:21):
He's having a good time with there. If you see him,
you see a fellow with a swoop of hair and
some flip flops on, some baggy shorts. Ghostly high to Clay.
He's on vacation, but he loves whenever the audience gives
him a high five. We got a lot of news
to get to today. Last night was big night in
the elections. We're gonna dive into that in a second.
Lot of primary stuff going on, some primary drama even
(00:46):
to discuss. You've also got some interesting machinations in DC
where another January sixth defendant had a venue change denied
the DC Circuit Court and the ability to the federal
government to hold anything revolving around January six in that
(01:06):
court and then to deny change of venue. It's like
the Deep States stronghold right now. So they'll try you
in an entirely Democrat city with people that get all
their news from seat down in the Washington Post, hate
anybody that was affiliated with Trump or January sixth, and
you're supposed to get a fair trial according to the
(01:28):
judge because reasons. They don't actually have reasons. It's ridiculous.
Will certainly be discussing that a big gut check moment
for those who have thought in the aftermath of Roe
v Way being overturned that there's going to be a
clear pathway even in very red states. What happened in
(01:50):
Kansas last night is a reminder that the fight for
life is going to require further mobilization. It's going to
require further effort and to get laws passed to defend
as many lives as possible in the womb. It's going
to require politics and an understanding of the political realities Kansas.
(02:11):
Last night there was a loss for the pro life movement.
Some very specific circumstances about these Kansas state constitution and
I'll get into all of it, but a reminder for
all this Joe Mansion still trying to defend the total
turnaround here on hundreds of billions in spending did not
(02:31):
go so well for him in some recent interviews Demi Lavato,
I am vaguely familiar with Demi Lavato. I'm looking at
the team here. I am not a pop culture expert.
You may have picked up on that. As last night
I was going into the phase of the Keegan book
(02:53):
on World War One where he's talking about the Turks
entering into the war or the You know, I'm not
so up on the pop culture stuff. But Debi Levado
is a famous person, a singer, and she became a
he who has now demanded that she be called the
she again. Reversal of the pronouns, folks. So you now
(03:18):
we will talk about that this was inevitable. This was inevitable.
You know. It's a little bit like that game Simon says,
you play. We're kids. You have to do whatever the
person says. Now, you have to give whatever pronouns they
ask for. And remember if you get the wrong pronouns,
you're a bad person. That's what they tell you. So
we have a lot to talk about on that one.
Oh and we're waiting in the meantime for the response
(03:42):
to Pelosi touching down in China. I'm sorry Taiwan. I
just said China. I meant Taiwan. That was actually I
just had Trump in my head there in Taiwan, not
in China, big, big, central part of the problem here
or the issue Pelosi touching down in Taiwan and the
Chinese getting very upset about this. But what are they
(04:05):
going to do? Nobody knows. I've seen some analysis saying,
let's now, it's the change in the in the long game,
change in the situation of what the Chinese Communist Party
will do in response to Pelosi's provocation. In their eyes,
I think it's going to be pretty minimal. But as
you see a lot of things, a lot of things
(04:25):
squirreling around. Now, let's dive into the election last night
and what we can take from some of these victories.
First of all, Eric Schmidt has handily beaten in the
primary for the governor's race there Eric Gryten's for US Senates.
(04:46):
Did I say X Missouri Governor Eric Writen's for the
US Senate seat there? So Schmidt has beaten X Missouri
Governor Eric Writen's for that Senate seat in that primary.
And that's interest especially because in recent days, you may
have seen Trump. Trump's team put out there are a
lot of Trump endorsements. We can discuss how that's gone.
(05:08):
It seems the Trump endorsement is still certainly very potent
in a lot of these races. But they put out
a statement saying that Trump effectively supports Eric. I mean
that they just said Eric in the official statement, and
that everyone was saying, well, is that Eric schmidter? Eric
writing's trolling comedy, whatever you want to call it. It
(05:29):
turns out Eric Schmidt one, So congratulations to him. A
very big win for Tutor Dickson in the GOP primary
for the governor's race in Michigan against Gretchen Whitmer. This
one I'm gonna be watching eagerly. You remember, there's gonna
(05:50):
be races going on. We got a huge mid term
all over the country. We're gonna focus in on the
ones that are the most important at the national level,
or that highlights some issue that is important I think
beyond just the political realities of one district or or
one region of a state. Gretchen Whittmer, after Cuomo and Newsom,
(06:11):
I think you'd have to say, was the single or
she she was well let's say third. She was the
third most vociferous lockdown proponent of any of the governors, right,
I feel like it was Cuomo was number. Faucci was
at the top of the authoritarian COVID pyramid. And then
(06:32):
you had Cuomo no longer governor, and Gavin Newsom of California,
and they were in a little bit of a contest
to see who could do the most pointless COVID theater,
and they kept kept doing it, of course, and then
you had I think Gretchen Whittmer right below that. Let's
let's all recall Gretchen Whittmer used to do TV hits
(06:56):
with a embroidered Fauci hello behind her, specifically placed in
her cable news shots where she was going, Oh, yeah,
we're just gonna triple mask your kids and we're gonna
just shut down everything and I'm gonna keep you safe.
And it didn't work. It was pointless, but she had
a Fauci pillow that she kept right there in the shot,
(07:20):
a little shrine to Fauci, to tiny Fauci. What else
do you really have to know? I whatever I can do,
whatever Clay and I can do. He's up in Michigan,
right now to help Tutor Dixon defeat Gretchen Whitmer in
that Michigan gubernatorial race. You could count me in. She
needs Whitmer needs to go. She needs to be out
(07:43):
of that office. She needs to pay the price for
her COVID lunacy, her lack of courage, her poor decision making,
and the immiseration of so many people in her state
for no good reason. In fact, it was just a
Democrat fad, a kind of mass psychological mass delusion. And
(08:08):
I think that's a really important one. So we have that.
We also saw last night our friend Blake Masters, who
we had just had on the show recently. He is
now going to be Is it officially called yet? Did
the producer rally? Did they officially call for Masters? I
know Carry Lake says she's got it in the bag,
but her opponent is saying, Robson is saying, this is
(08:30):
for the Arizona Governor's primary, Republican primary. Carry Lake, who
we've had on many times. I've gotten a chance to
speak to Carry a bit on the issues outside of
Radio two and as very it's a formidable candidate. Looks
like she's gonna win, but there's still some counting going.
I think it's not officially called yet. I believe Blake
(08:51):
Masters has it has been officially called. I mean, this
is he He's going to be the Republican Republican contender square.
He was way head in the polls squaring off against
Mark Kelly for that Arizona Senate seat. So those are
And if, by the way, if there's a big one
in your state that I am leaving out by all means,

got a video up there. We've got a YouTube channel
I'm trying to work on. When I do I get
in the habit of doing radio and I kind of
just look around me because I'm you know, I'm in
the zone, man, And I realized I need to look
(09:34):
into the camera more for YouTube purposes during during radio.
So that's something you can do when you go to
Clay and Buck dot com or just subscribe to or
YouTube channel. And if we left if I left out
any really important race last night, at this stage, I
would say, let me know and I'll get back into it.
But the the Dickson victory backed by Trump, I mean,
(09:56):
you look at the whole range of people, um, from
the oh oh, and there is there is another one
that got a lot of attention. Uh one. One big
thing from last night was that you have this, uh,
this Republican Member of Congress Uh Meyer right up up
(10:18):
in West Michigan. UM. He's an incumbent and he is
one of these guys who lost to a contender on
the other side who was actually getting some Democrat money.
This is and John Gibbs. Congratulations to John Gibbs. He
(10:40):
he is a now candidate for the Michigan third congressional district.
Gibbs is backed by Trump. He is very maga, he
is an African American, and he ended up beating Meyer
in this primary. So Meyer got primary. He voted to
impeach Trump. And this is one of these places where
(11:01):
the Democrats spent a few hundred thousand dollars supporting Gibbs.
And this was official. DCC is a DCCC. There we go.
I gotta get the last Democrat Congressional Cano DCC whatever,
the d triple C. Yeah, I gotta get the third
seed in there. It's one of those places where there
(11:21):
were hundreds of thousands of dollars thrown behind Gibbs because
they thought they thought that he would be an easier
candidate for the Democrat to beat going into the general election.
Be careful what you wish for lives. I think Meyer
was a weeke candidate. He voted for the impeachment of
Donald Trump. He had a lot of He had a
(11:44):
lot of money to spend. He comes from a wealthy
family in the area. I think they family owns like
a supermarket chain, and so yeah, he lost his seat.
Turns out, voting to impeach the sitting president of your
party for absurdity is not a good career move. If
you want to be in the Congress and still be
a Republican, you want to pull Liz Cheney and be
(12:05):
a fake Republican. That's a Democrat. Fine, you go for that. Oh.
Cheney certainly got a lot of attention too. I'm sure
some of you saw this. She had a posted a
photo of Kevin Costner with an I'm with Liz or
you know I'm voting for Liz Cheney t shirt on
because you see if you can get a multi multi
(12:26):
millionaire Hollywood liberal who pretends to be a rancher on
TV to support you for a congressional seat in Wyoming
where there are actual ranchers. Yeah, you see how that works.
That is the contempt that Cheney has for people who
actually live in her state. It's hey, let's get this
(12:46):
Hollywood actor who pretends to be one of you to
support me, to fool you into thinking we all share
the same values. Yes, yes, let's have you know. And
I like Kevin Costner and yellow Stone, and you know,
the rumor mill says, he's a pretty nice guy, but
he's a lib. He's a lib. I think the other
(13:07):
election that I want to spend or I should say
referendum that I want to spend some time on, is
what happened in Kansas, because there are important lessons here.
Obviously a red state, a red state, though, where an
effort to allow the state legislature to regulate abortion through
state level legislation was defeated last night in Kansas, not
(13:31):
in Colorado, not in California, in Kansas. So we should
get into why this happened, because if it can happen
there there are some specific circumstances to Kansas, and I'll
explain that, but it is I think it is a
wake up call to the pro life movement when we
need to be aware of going to the midterms. And
you know what else is a wake up call. They
(13:52):
really do want you to just be complacent. They want
you to be sitting around at home and just hope
that they fix the baby formula shortage, hope that there's
food on the shelves for you. A wise person once said,
you got a plan for the best, but prepare for
the worst. Catastrophic events happen. Natural disasters affect far too many,
(14:13):
leaving them in a time of need. Even events we
can see in the horizon, like a forthcoming shortage on
a crucial part of the American farming existence, can affect
all of us. Whether that brings about a food shortage,
we'll see. But whatever the cause, be smart, prepare for
the worst. That's why you'll want to go with Prepare
with Clay and Buck dot com right now. You'll save
(14:34):
fifty dollars on four weeks of emergency food from My
Patriots Supply the nation's largest preparedness company with millions of
customers already well stacked with their food. Kids stocked with
their food. Kids, You should be too, and you'll save
fifty dollars that's right, of fifty dollars savings on each
four week kitch you order when you go to prepare
with Clay and Buck dot com. Your food chips fast
(14:57):
and free and unmarked boxes for your privacy. Don't at
your family suffer with food shortages. Go to prepare with
Clay and Buck dot com. Right now, that's prepare with
Clay and Buck dot com. Policies. The idea that you're
going to put critical race theory and segregate our children
by skin color, The idea that you're going to let
(15:18):
violent criminals out of jail over and over again to
reoffend and reoffend and assault our people. Open borders, no
limits whatsoever, immigration, energy prices through the roof, inflation through
the roof, and basic anti American Marxism being pushed at
every level of society. This doesn't sell anywhere. And I
would say to Republicans this is very important. If you
(15:41):
don't run on these issues, you're going to lease so
many seats on the table. The polls have been tightening,
and it's because Republicans aren't hitting these issues enough, talk
about them every single day. That's our friend Stephen Miller there,
formerly Trump senior advisor, and specifically somebody very much involved
(16:02):
on the immigration side of the Trump administration getting a
lot of important issues right then that we now see
falling apart under the Biden regime. And Stephen Miller is
given a very important reminder right now, folks that if
Republicans don't make the case, people, people are busy, people forget,
(16:23):
people are subject to endless propaganda, People are told things
that are just not true by a media that is
still over ninety percent in the tank for Democrats. Right, So,
we can't allow reality to be the only case that
has made right. We can't just say, well, everyone's going
to see what's going on, of course, not have to
(16:45):
stay focused in on these issues. Immigration the worst border.
I just spoke to a friend of mine who works
in border patrol last night, Okay said it is the
worst in his twenty plus year career in border patrol
right now. The worst in terms of the cartels, the drugs,
the illegal alien smuggling, the assaults particularly against women and
(17:10):
children that are being human trafficked across the border, it's
a mess, the worst it's ever been. Biden's doing nothing
to fix it because they don't want to fix it.
They don't care. Actually, they like the illegal immigration. As
you know, inflation, obviously, everything price wise getting more expensive.
People don't like that, and they shouldn't. Cost of energy,
Green New Deal lunacy comes with a real price tag
(17:31):
that you are paying. The private jet Progressives like Nancy Pelosi,
they don't care, but you are paying that. Everyone needs
to be reminded of this. On top of also what
they did during COVID, which we're going to continue to
hammer that here. Democrats deserve to lose. They also want
you triple masks and feeling kind of like, oh, I
(17:54):
don't know. I'm just gonna do whatever I'm told. I'm
gonna stay home and I'm gonna eat bugs in soy
and tofu all day long. My friends. There's a problem
for men in America right now. Stats show the average
man in this country has a massively reduced amount of
testosterone in their system from the average guy fifty years ago,
down fifty percent. Now. Not all of this is due
to CNN watching. There are other things as well, But
(18:18):
you've got to take some action here. Okay, guys are
going through their day with less energy than previous generations,
less lee muscle mass, less of an overall feeling of
well being. But you can do something about this unnatural
choice to boost testosterone, and our friends at Chalk have
just that. In fact, the leading ingredient in their Chalk
Daily supplement has been proven to increased testosterone levels by
(18:40):
over twenty percent in just three months time. You need
to try this, guys. Go to Chalk dot com. Thats
choq dot com. Use my name as the code Buck
ninety five. That's Buck ninety five. To get ninety five
percent off your first month of any Chalk subscription under
seventy Dollarschoq dot com use promo code Buck. We won
(19:05):
today seven out of ten election day votes. Do you
know that that is massive and those votes are not
counted yet. There is no path to victory from my opponent.
And we won this race period. They've only counted thirteen
(19:29):
thousand election day votes and that's where our people voted.
When they count the votes, we are going to win
this and there's no path to victory for our opponent.
Welcome back to Clay and Buck. This is Buck talking
to you from New York City, and that was Carrie Lake,
(19:50):
who has declared victory. I don't think it has been
officially declared in the state of Arizona yet. It's a
very very tight margin, but Carrie's team or people believe
there's no way, as you heard just there, that she
will not be the Republican nominee for the governor of Arizona,
(20:12):
and very important state. Obviously, we all remember twenty twenty
and what went on and Arizona and the whole thing.
So that's that was a good moment. I think Carrie's
going to do very well. I think like Master is
going to do very well in that state when he
hopefully defeats Mark Kelly and becomes a Senator from there.
So there were some some good news last night, and
(20:33):
whenever I have good news to share with all of you,
I take every opportunity I can. You know, whenever we
can put things in a context, we realized we are
making progress, we are getting some wins, setting some things right,
and and that's all to the good. Kansas is another story, unfortunately,
after last night and what we saw there, and it
(20:54):
is disheartening. Now there's there's a lot of moving parts.
You know, Kansas went overwhelmingly in the last election for
Donald Trump, and Kansas is a red state. But the
State Supreme Court of Kansas had found in the state constitution,
(21:15):
I believe a right to an abortion. And the only
way to change this it was, and this is why
they had a ballot measure that was voted on last night.
The only way they would change us to be an
amendment to the state Constitution of Kansas. And this had
to do with whether or not you could regulate abortion
(21:37):
at all. Now, the way that this was framed is
something that we're going to have to pay very close
attention to because what was essentially going on here was
the pro abortion side of the argument. I mean, they
called themselves pro choice. They were saying, well, they want
to ban all abortions. Well, really, the friend and was
(22:00):
just saying that the Row regime should not have a
companion level understanding and this state at the State Court
for the state of Kansas, the legislature should be able
to pass laws to regulate abortion. But it was pitched
to people as they just want to take away all
(22:20):
abortion and there's going to be no exceptions, and it's
going to be very extreme and to overcome something that
is in a state constitution based on judicial interpretation. And
I know we're kind of getting deep into this year,
and I was reading about this last night to make
sense of it all. It's going to be harder to
(22:41):
do that with a referendum. It's you're already going uphill.
Plus you have the enormous abortion lobby nationwide that really
wanted to establish a victory here. Money matters a lot
in a state referenum. It's not it's not a candidate,
it's just the issue, how the issue is presented to people.
(23:03):
So this is a This was a loss, a pretty
big loss. Unfortunately in the state of Kansas. It failed
by a margin of let's say, roughly sixty three to
thirty seven percent, something along those lines, as I was
looking at it last night. And so there was a
twenty nineteen decision in which the Kansas Supreme Court found
(23:26):
a right to abortion. As I was saying, in the
state constitution, which was drafted in eighteen fifty nine, there
is no right. It's almost like row created the basis.
The crappy determination by the Supreme Court in Roe v.
Wade then had this after effect of the state court
in twenty nineteen in Kansas says, well, we also see
(23:51):
in our state constitution a right to abortion. So this
is why they had to get a constitutional amendment. This
is what led to the ref for random and they
were going to be getting rid of So it turns
into the rhetoric around this is they're taking away your rights.
Why are they taking away your right in the state
(24:12):
of Kansas to an abortion? You say, well, hold on
a second. As with Row, there never was a right
to abortion in the state of Kansas in the constitution.
Some judge made it up. But you see, it's the
same game that was played out nationally where they just lost.
But now this was at a state level. You know,
they they adopted language here that was meant to obscure
(24:41):
the issue. Kansins for Constitutional Freedom was one of the
groups in favor of abortion in this case. Obviously, oh,
you've got a state constitution says you've a right to abortion.
We're the freedom people for abortion. Now, this is not
a moment of panic because a lot of other states
(25:03):
don't have this. If you didn't have the already decided
twenty nineteen, abortion was in the Kansas Constitution, adopted at
eighteen fifty nine. You wouldn't be running uphill in this way.
But here's why I bring it up. This is where
it's going to be very hard for the pro life movement.
I shouldn't say very hard. Have to be very careful
(25:25):
in the pro life movement to see that this is
now in the realm of politics. The argument since Row
has been focused one on the wrongness of Rowe as
a decision, but also on the moral case here, the
moral clarity of it is a baby in the womb.
This is another human being. We must overturn Row to
protect this baby that has gotten an enormous win as
(25:49):
a result of the case, the dabb's decision this past June. Okay,
But now it goes to the states. Right, it's not
a nationwide ban an abortion. Despite all the freak out
from the Libs about this, California is going to have
very permissive, very expansive abortion laws. New York other states
as well. You see that in places where it is contested,
(26:13):
like in Kansas, the pro life movement may have to
accept the best possible outcome, and this is where you'll
see some difficulties. There's going to be some debate on
the right. I alluded to this before because, for example,
when you talk about exceptions for life of the mother,
(26:36):
which I actually think even though some on the right
say no, you can't even I think that there's a
clear moral case for that. I think there's a political
case to include the Mississippi heartbeat law, for example, there's
a political case to say, well, we have to have
(26:57):
some exceptions that will be in state, because if you
eliminate the exceptions, if you eliminate any cases in which
there can be a legal abortion in the state, you
might end up with what they're going to have now
in Kansas, or what they will continue to have in Kansas,
which is well abortion basically until the sixth, seventh, eighth month,
(27:19):
whatever they decide the viability lines. You see what I mean.
You don't want the perfect to be the enemy of
the good. That's going to be very tough when you're
talking about the life issue here. You want to protect
as many lives in the womb as you can, in
as many states, in as many places as you can. Right,
you save all the lives you can. Now, what does
(27:40):
that mean as it plays out in different different elections, referendums,
state legislatures. You may not be in the wisest position
to push for life at conception, no abortion under any circumstances,
life begins a conception, no abortion under any circumstances whatsoever. Ever,
(28:01):
you're probably gonna lose in a lot of states. If
that is what the legislative as a matter of law,
that is what the push, You're probably gonna lose, and
losing means the left which is still pushing. The New
York Times just had an editorial published on why do
we treat miscarriage and abortion differently? This was in the
(28:21):
New York Times. This is like asking why do we
treat your grandfather's heart attack differently from you pushing your
grandfather down a flight of stairs to his death. These
are clearly morally different circumstances. But they they're asking the
question out loud. They're pushing this. See, it's no big deal.
(28:44):
What's the problem. They have no moral foundation for their decisions.
The pro abortion left has completely lost its mind. All
nine months of a pregnancy and that is not an exaggeration.
State of Colorado just passed an all nine month of
a pregnancy state abortion law, signed by Jared polis So.
Other states are doing this too, it's effectively the same
(29:06):
situation New York, California. They want all nine months of
a pregnancy, and they're going to be dishonest. My friends,
you are fighting against delusion and evil here. You're gonna
have people that are saying, well, what about this, Let's
look at the ectopic pregnancy numbers. Let's let's look at
what ninety eight percent of abortion nine percent of abortions
actually are elective procedures for people who don't want to
(29:28):
have a kid right now. But they're not defending that.
They're not saying, yeah, you know, it's been two months,
three months into a pregnancy and a woman is just
deciding doesn't want to have a kid right now, so
she's going to actually terminate the pregnancy. He's going to
end a life in the womb. They're not even making
that case. If we don't force them to make that case,
if we allow them to say, oh, look at the extremes,
(29:49):
Oh look at we may be right morally, and we are,
but we will lose politically. And the movement has to
understand this is now a political I think they do,
and I some of the prominent voices in the pro
life movement, and they're doing. Look, they've just had a
miraculous change of situation because of the dab's decision and
(30:11):
thanks to the brave conservatives on the Supreme Court for
doing the moral and legally correct thing. And so yes,
a big victory. But the battle is not over. And
Kansas shows us that under certain circumstances, even in a
red state, they will push everything they have behind this.
They will lie about this to people, they will use
(30:33):
obscure language, they will use hyperbole, they will do whatever
they have to do because this is effectively it is
a right rie of the left. It is central to
the identity of the Democrat Party, and they're going to
fight this out everywhere they possibly can. We have to
fight smart, save as many lives as you can in
(30:54):
as many places as you can. Look what Mississippi did. Did
Did Mississippi go to the Supreme Court with an a
board ban at all state and no, missus Hippi went
with a gestational heartbeat bill. And now maybe they can
push beyond that and make it just about life of
the mother, just about cases of rape. And it says
maybe they'll go even further. But in the meantime, think
(31:16):
of the lives that are saved. And think of the
progress toward the most righteous outcome. It's but I know
that's tough for people. I know that's that's difficult to
accept that you're not pushing for what is the clearly
optimal moral situation. But look at Kansas. We want to win,
(31:36):
we want to save lives. My friends, my cell phone
is never far away from me. Call it a hazard
this job. I happen to be in a role that
just requires constant communication day and night, so my self
service has to be second to none, the best there is.
And I found that when I switched to pure Talk,
not only is the service exactly the same, the savings
are incredible. We're talking hundreds of dollars. So if you
(31:57):

This is Buck, somebody from New York. We've got a
lot of listeners in Kansas because our lives just lit
up over these referendum last night and the disappointing outcome.
But as I've said, there's just there was a lot
of dishonesty around how it was presented. It was about
(33:04):
constitutional freedom. Wait, abortion is oh oh, because it's some
judge says in the state constitution. Then it's about freedom
and being antib government. You see, they tried to confuse people.
They tried to confuse people about what was really going on.
And then it's well, we're going to remove a constitutional
right in the state of Kansas and give the government
the ability to do create. That's how they won. You see,
(33:28):
this is what we're up against. Friends. They're not saying, yeah,
we should have, you know, medicaid providing, so everyone funding
abortion for all nine months of a pregnancy, and your
tax dollars should go to an abortion for any reason. No,
that's not how they're going to try to keep abortion
legal in states. They're going to do things like this.
Trent is in northwest Kansas. He's got some thoughts for
(33:51):
us all this what Hey, Trent, what's going on? Hey?
I just had a an opinion on as to some
things about what happened. So Kansas is, you know, a
very rural community except for about four or five big
metropolitan areas, right, which all happened to be the places
(34:12):
where the big state colleges are and things like that,
which also happened to be very liberal areas like the
Blueberry in the sea of red of cranberries. Right, it's
kind of like Austin and Tech League. Yep. If you
look at the map of where all of the abortion,
(34:32):
you know, keep the amendment votes are, it's all those
big metropolitan areas, which again is the majority of the
population of the state. You know, where I'm at, the
biggest town and within one hundred miles of me is
five thousand people, right, you know, But I mean, but
Trump won like fifty six to forty one over Biden
statewide in twenty twenty, and it was even bigger than
that in twenty sixteen. It was fifty six to thirty
(34:55):
five percent Trump v. Hillary. So, I mean, overall, at
certainly at the national level elections, it's been pretty reliably
read right, but you got to look at it. We
have a democratic governor. Yeah, I know, it's a shame.
I gotta tell you sometimes sometimes look at Joe Manchin,
(35:16):
look at West Virginia. I mean, I don't know, you know,
if someone has a D by their name, be highly
suspicious everybody. I don't know what else to tell you. You
You know, it's crazy. Thanks for calling in, Trent Ben
in Wichita, Kansas. Ben, what's going on? Ben? Can you
hear me? Yes, sir, I just feel like um and
(35:40):
no offense to your previous collar. But which tall still
holds red. He's thinking of Kansas City. But they pretty
much lied on the ads they ran for the vote. No.
They presented doctors who said that they would be forced
to perform abortion, not allowed to perform abortions on young
children who were raped or had to insist, and presented
(36:04):
women who said, well, I would have died from my
second pregnancy, and this law would force me to carry
the pregnancy to term, risking my life. And that was
the majority the ads that I saw. Oh yes, I've
seen some of these ads. The ads were either about
extreme things that nobody was proposing in the state legislature,
or vague things about freedom and the Constitution means you
(36:26):
get to have an abortion. Ben from Kansas Wichita, which
does stay ready. Thanks so much man for Colin and
appreciate it. Follow up with a little more on this.
Also Joe Mansion defending his very suspect decision here on
the slim down, build back better Biden agenda. Governor Ron
de Santis not gonna go on the view. I think
(36:49):
it's the right move. It's getting a lot of attention.
Talking about that much more coming up second hours to
stick with us pleat Travis and o Sexton on the
front lines of truth.
