Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to today's edition of The Clay Travis and Buck
Sexton Show podcast. Welcome and everybody to the Clay Travis
and Buck Sexton Show on this Friday. Appreciate your rolling
with Gonna be in solo today, last day of Clay's
vacation with the fam. He sends his regards to all
of you across the country. He's up in Michigan having
(00:20):
a great time. I'm here in New York City and
it is a busy time to be sure, in the
news cycle. A lot going on. We have the job's
numbers in. We've got to talk about that China doing
some provocative things around Taiwan in the Taiwan Straits, saying
(00:42):
they will no longer cooperate on some things. Now there's
some very serious areas of this. And then there's day
won't cooperate on climate change. Oh, no, anything but that.
But we will discuss this situation there and how the
escalation is continuing on. More On the aftermath of the
Brittany Grinder sentencing to a Russian prison for nine years,
(01:03):
the Russians have confirmed that they are in fact Sergei
Lavrov has said that they are in fact considering a
deal that would involve Victor Bout and yeah, there's that.
There's also federal charges that have been brought against four
(01:26):
Louisville police officers, civil rights charges involved in the search
warrant and subsequent shooting of Brianna Taylor. Merrick Garland announced
that you actually will discuss also on the justice front,
you have Governor Ronda Santis suspending a state's attorney in
(01:48):
Tampa because he's a progressive prosecutor who thinks he is
above the law. I mean, that's just some of what
we've got going on here that are just those are
just some of the things that are at issue. But
first we have the jobs numbers, and I gotta tell
you I have been a little bit concerned about this
(02:10):
for a while. You can consider it the political rebound effect.
How much worse can something get for the Biden administration
before it starts to look like it's turning around. And
timing is everything in politics. We remind you frequently here
about the lockdowns about fauciism, the mask mandates, the vaccine mandates,
(02:37):
the sky high price of gas, of the very high
inflation rate, all of these things that have brought the
Biden poll numbers to their lowest ever levels. I've been
down into the thirties right depending on the poll you
(02:59):
look at. And I've been concerned that at some point
this is going to have to get better for the
Biden regime. Meaning when you hit the basement right nowhere
to go, but somewhere in the direction of up, it's
going to turn around. Now. I don't think the economy is,
to be clear turning around in a structural way. But
(03:21):
this was when you look at the jobs numbers, a
strong month of jobs. We live in reality here, and
this is why we have to take stock of the
fact that this week has been on a number of
fronts energizing and mobilizing for the political opposition. We absolutely
cannot take our foot off the gas pedal here. It's August,
(03:45):
plenty of time still for the numbers to shift in
favor of the Democrats, and you have a very different
reality if they hold the Senate, then if we take
the Senate and the House in this mid term. We'll
talk about that at a moment, but first off, here
is the announcement. I mean, I'll give you a well here.
(04:07):
The media was very excited about this today. Oh my,
as Dickenberg would say five hundred and twenty eight thousand
jobs created or restored. Hard to believe, But the US
economy added five hundred and twenty eight thousand jobs in July.
It is a whopper, five hundred and twenty eight thousand,
(04:27):
much higher than expected. The US adding five hundred and
twenty eight thousand jobs last month, much higher than consensus.
It was a strong number, the best number since March.
We can dispel the notion that the economy is currently
in recession. If we were intercession, companies would be laying
people off rather than hiring them. If you're trying to
make the argument it's all doom and gloom out there
and we're on a fast track to recession, you can't.
(04:49):
This is not your father's recession. The only word I
can use Harry's wow. Wow. You're that at the end.
They're they're very happy about it, and there's a bid
of a bit of people taking a victory lap too.
Even on the change of the definition of recession, you're
noticing that, right You're hearing people say, oh, well, this
(05:13):
shows that all those efforts to switch the definition on
Miriam Webster and on Wikipedia, it was all legitimate. Because
we're not really in a recession. No. Someone explained that
if the jobs numbers are so good, and they're just
good this month and they'll be revised next month. But
if the jobs numbers are so good, why have we
had two quarters of negative GDP? And even if the
(05:37):
jobs numbers continue to be somewhat strong going into the fall,
everything is more expensive. That hurts because there are a
lot of people that have jobs and we have to
think about them too. Right, this is just one sector
of the overall economy, of the overall economy. But be
prepared for this. I mean be prepared for the stenographer
(06:00):
of the Biden regime. People who believe their jobs are
to present the most favorable of possible narratives for this
Biden White House. They're going to go all in on
c This is this is great, This is exactly what
we need in this current moment politically, at this moment,
(06:23):
this is a very good report for President Biden. First
of all, we had a couple of weeks ago silly
extended debate over whether or not we were in a recession.
These numbers make pretty clear we are not in a recession.
You don't add half a million jobs when in a
recessionary environment makes it more likely that that first quarter
GDP number is going to get revised up and not
be negative as it was in the initial report. There's
(06:46):
nothing presidents like better than adding a lot of jobs
and being able to tell Americans it's a great time
to go out and get a job. So they're feeling
pretty good about things right now. The stenographers left wing Democrat,
corporate aligned media saying uh huh. Now, first off, there's
(07:08):
another perspective on this, and here is just to give
you that Peter Schiff, who is the europe Pacific Capital CEO.
He's saying, oh, no, no, no, it's actually even worse
than people think it is. The recession that we are
currently in is actually a lot worse already than people think.
(07:29):
Look at the data that came out on Friday on
household debt surging to a new all time record high
sixteen point one five trillion. You know, American families have
taken on two trillion dollars of debt just since the pandemic.
But worse, the national debt has increased by eight trillion
during the same time period. American households are responsible for
(07:52):
paying that debt, but they're already drowning on their own debt.
Credit Card debt year over year just rose by the
most in twenty years, and that's because Americans are having
to put their groceries on their credit cards. That's not good, folks,
that's not good. They can look at the job numbers,
but what about everybody else? What about the debt that
is occurring? What about the cost the expenses that people
(08:15):
are dealing with. This is where you say to yourself,
will hold on a second, which one of these things
is actually the more accurate, the more accurate sense of
where we're going. National debt increased by eight trillion dollars.
We're looking at long term structural issues here and risks,
(08:37):
structural risks in the economy, and the addition of household
debt is also deeply concerning. People can't actually pay for things.
But I also understand that there's the reality of what
the economy is doing, and there's a lot of factors
coming together right now. And people are going to dispute
that you feel the high prices, but they're going to
(08:58):
keep pointing to that three point five percent unemployment rate. Biden,
every Democrat's gonna say, see, look at how great the
unemployment rate is okay, so that's under way. That's that's
something that we have to be prepared for. And then
also when you look at what's happening this week alone,
they have the path. They completely outmaneuvered Republicans on the
(09:20):
Chips Act. Republicans go, you know, okay, for national defense,
we're gonna go along with the Democrats on this one,
and the Democrats say, don't worry, we're not gonna actually,
you know, we're not gonna pass a big inflation bill.
Hold on a second. The Molan Republicans go along with
(09:41):
the Chips Act. Democrats come back and say, yeah, actually
we're gonna do that thing we said we weren't gonna do,
and Joe Mansion leads the charge for them, going yeah, well,
you know, I told you I wouldn't, but now I
will outmaneuvered Republicans on the Chips Act. And then the
Anti Inflation Bill, which when we got to come up,
we should really just call it the inflation bill because
(10:02):
it's making inflation. But notice they just name it whatever
they have to based on the poll testing of what
the concerns that people have right now. Maybe, but they
got that lined up to go. Cinema says, she's a
yes on it. She's bailing out the private equity and
hedge fund guys who get the carried interest loophole that
(10:22):
was gonna be fifteen billion of revenue. Cinema says, no, no no, no, no,
those are rich donors. I want to keep that for them.
Democrats don't really care about paying your fair share. They
just want to take a lot from you and give
it to people to keep them in power. She's a yes,
which I knew she would be. So they get the
Chips Bill, which is a spending bill. Republicans went along
(10:44):
with it. They school the Republicans on the facts of
life when it comes to what happens in politics when
you just go with a handshake and a smile. They
pass or are in the process of passing. I believe
tomorrow they're actually going to hold the Senate vote on it,
This anti inflation Biden Bill, which is just a version
of Build Back Better. And they also now have the
(11:09):
Kansas referendum, which they've used a huge victory for abortion
rights or you know, for abortion. Although I think that's exaggerated,
it is something that has energized the multi billion dollar
abortion industry and lobby. So now with the job support,
I'm telling you they're feeling like the winds are shifting
(11:31):
in their direction. I'm not panicking. I'm not saying that
we aren't going to have a very strong showing in
this midterm. I do think this week is a reminder
that there is no celebration until the victory is complete.
There is no retreat until we are victorious. That means
(11:54):
taking back both the House and the Senate. The House
is looking good, but we want a big majority in
the House. Just a little itty bitty majority. You want
a big majority in the House and in the Senate.
It's gonna be tough. We'll talk more about some of
these Senate races in just a few minutes here, So
stay with me for all of that. My friends, it's
(12:14):
gonna be a busy show today. Also, it's Friday. I'd
love to take some of your calls. Eight hundred two
eight two two eight eight two. No matter where you are,
it is hot outside, and if you're outside on this
kind of heat for any amount of time, it's a
big drain on your energy. Why not give yourself an edge.
There's something that counteracts that sense of malaise and I
don't want to move. What am I gonna do? Comes
(12:36):
from Chalk. Chalk is spelled c h o q. This
company is run by patriots who have gone out of

Clay and Buck Show. This is Buck coming to you
from NYC. ND situation here with the economy is you're
gonna hear a lot of talking points, will be a
lot of back and forth given the jobs today, as
we were just discussing, and there's going to be a
(14:06):
massive effort in the media to try to convince as
many people as possible that, as Biden would say, we're
on the right path. No joke, friend, not a joke,
middle out, middle out, bottom up, bottom up, not being facetious,
not being facetious. I don't even know if he knows
what facetious means. He definitely can't spell it. But Biden
(14:26):
will be telling everybody that this just shows how brilliant
everything is. I would want everyone to keep in mind
that a big part of the Inflation Act is actually
the Audit Act, as in they're going to be auditing
more and more of you across the country. Senator Chris Coons,
the Democrat from Connecticut, saying that the Inflation Act is
(14:48):
going to have more professional tax enforcement as a part
of it. It increases tax enforcement so that those companies,
those Americans who owe taxes but avoid sing them have
to pay their fair share. Those of us who do
pay our taxes year in and year out, would like
to see more effective, more professional tax enforcement and the
(15:10):
significant additional revenue from reducing prescription drug prices, negotiating prescription drugs. Yeah,
more professional tax enforcement. Yeah, because if there's one thing
that the hard working American people really need right now,
it's a phone call from the IRS. Although it usually
(15:30):
starts with the mail, just so you know, I RS
will communicate with you via the mail. That's why I
never get you, guys. I never get anything good in
the mail. I get junk mail, you know, trying to
get me to buy things I don't want to buy,
and you know, IR S stuff. Hopefully not a lot
of that, but you know, I never get anything good
by snail mail these days. Occasionally a wedding invitation. That's nice. Okay, fine,
(15:53):
there's some things, but generally I go to my mailbox
and I'm just sifting through junk mail and get own bills,
medical bills. That's the other thing that I tend to get.
But they want to have more professional tax enforcement. This
means a whole bunch more IRS agents. We've got to
justify their existence, which means they're going to be going
through your stuff. You know, if we had a very straightforward,
(16:14):
very simple tax code, if it was you earned X
this year, you owe, why wouldn't it all be so
much easier and better? But they don't see. The Libs
don't want that because they want goodies for their private
equity friends, as we see with Kristen Cinema. They want
little carve outs here and there for the interest that
they support. But you know, the American people who aren't
(16:34):
dependent on government and aren't so rich, they don't care
what the government takes from them. The rest of us,
they want to turn you upside down, shake out your pockets,
and make sure that it's as professional as the IRS
can be. That's a just remember that phrase going forward, folks,
because what they really mean is a lot more audits.
There's going to be far more of that going on.
(16:56):
But I think that as I've been telling you, the
machine they've been a little quiet for a while, you're
gonna see the Democrat machinery here in the media just
pushing so hard on. We're gonna bring down inflation, the
jobs numbers. They're gonna try to change what everyone has
known since the beginning of this year, which is that
Biden is a buffoon and this regime is a failure
(17:19):
in this White House is in above its head. They're
gonna do everything they can to try to change your
mind on that one, just in time for voting. And
there are gonna be so many people that will say,
just a few months after the vote, if they believe
this Democrat propaganda's say, oh my gosh, Joe Biden's president,
(17:40):
and I actually supported a Democrat, Like what was I thinking.
They rely on this short term memory and flood the
zone media coverage the Democrat politician's best friends. There's a
company in Tennessee and doing awfully good things for families nationwide.
It's called Legacy Body. They name themselves a decade ago
(18:02):
after the specially made box they ship to your home.
You float with all the old aging videotapes you've stored
away forever, the ones on the list of to do
projects to digitally transfer all those memories onto computer files.
The problem is you don't have that gear, but Legacy Box,
the company does. They've got to know and they've got
to know how and the technology to do it. Two
hundred technicians in a sixty thousand square foot facility with
(18:24):
all the technology that makes it easy to hand transfer
each of your videotapes. All you have to do is
order a box from Legacy Box. Do this today or

you by. It's a great value. All you have to

convert your entire VHS collection. Legacybox dot com, slash buck
nine dollars a tape legacybox dot com slash buc k
and welcome back Clay Travis en Buck Sexton show going
strong here. This is Buck coming out of NYC Play
(19:06):
on Vacation today and we have the announcement just yesterday
from the Department of Justice. Now, now let's remind ourselves here,
every decision that this DJ makes is going to be
through a lens of politics whenever it touches on an
area of political sensitivity. So they're going to do things
(19:27):
that benefit the Democrat Party and I do start to
see more and more indicators that they are hoping to
put forward not only not to not just to continue
these January sixth indictments hold people in solitary. I'm starting
to think more seriously that they are going to try
(19:48):
to bring a criminal charge against Donald Trump. I don't
know it's always been a possibility, but you see that
the last stronghold or prap, the most formidable stronghold of
the Democrats in the justice in the justice realm, is
that Washington, DC is just full of lunatic lips. So
(20:12):
if you can and you and that means the prosecutors,
the judges, and the jury pool. So if you bring
a charge that is politically charged, you are going to
get the outcome that Democrats want to see. So that's
something we should keep in mind going anywhere. I think
that that's their break the glass plan right now. They're
(20:34):
hoping they can turn sentiment around with all their help
from people in the media, the Democrats, the activists pretending
to be journalists. I think that's the plan. And there's
of course the specific candidates in different races, which on
the Senate side is not going not going very well
for us, right now, I'm just going to say it.
(20:56):
We're all very confident about the House. If Republicans don't
at the House, we should just figure out something else, Folks,
I don't know. American politics not really going to be
our thing anymore. Maybe think of picking an island somewhere
in French Polynesia, go go off off grid. But the
Senate's going to be a much tougher, a much tougher situation,
(21:19):
to be sure. The Georgia Senate race between Raphael Warnock
and herschel Walker is going to be very close, and
Warnock has been winning for quite a while. The Senate
race between Federman and doctor Oz. Doctor Oz, paging, doctor Oz,
we need you to make up that gap, sir. You're
(21:42):
behind by about ten or eleven points in the polls.
I'm seeing what's going on here. I got a prescription,
doctor oz, or oh, I messed it up. I got
a fever, and the only prescription is more campaign stops
or something like that. He's got to do a better
job with that. But it's gonna get very very political
between now in the election in places where it's not
(22:03):
supposed to as well. Right, It's one thing to be
out there, Senators, and running their ads and all the
rest of it. Fine, Justice Department's not supposed to do
this though, but it will, it has and it will
continue to the Justice Department with Merrick Garland at its top,
(22:25):
the head of the DOJ, the Attorney General. Merrick Garland
was even involved in let's not forget that moment where
parents who were speaking out at school board meetings were
being referred to in some way as though they were
possible domestic terrorists. Remember that, that whole, that whole fiasco
(22:47):
and the Dogana Merrick Garland was all, we're on it.
We're gonna make sure those parents, those parents need to
shut up and have their six year old told that
they can make up their pronouns every day and if
it's a boy, he's probably a girl. And then we
have called machine. Shut up about that parents. This is
the Biden administration. This is how they feel about this.
Just so everyone's all very clear on that. But this
(23:10):
is a different issue as well. A the black vote
is going to be critical as it always is for
Democrats and election it's going to be very important for
them in this midterm election. And the activist community within
or the activist groups within the Black community is going
to have to be mobilized. So how do you do that? Well,
(23:31):
as we've been discussing here on the show, progressive prosecutors
are just being annihilated, not only by people like me
who are pointing out how stupid their ideas are, but
by the numbers. And that's why yesterday we spent the
top of the show. If you missed it, go back
listen to Clay Travis and Buck Sexton podcast first hour
(23:53):
spend so much time on the recidivism numbers. The activists
from the end mass and cars ration world, the people
that are BLM activists. They were saying, Oh, recidism won't
go up if you just let people out right after
they commit crimes, even if there are a threat to
(24:13):
public safety. Well that was wrong. We all see that
it was wrong, and people are finally now mobilizing on that.
They're deciding, Hey, I don't want my community to be
so dangerous anymore. I don't want the murder rate to
be so high. Can we get the prosecutors to actually
lock up people that have been arrested thirty times, fifty times,
(24:36):
one hundred times? So what does the BIDENDJ do right
now to try to show that there's still a social
justice crt BLM mandate for the Biden Department of Justice,
(24:56):
and that is to bring federal charges in this case
against four Louisville police officers. Here was the announcement of
this yesterday, Merrick Garland telling everybody what's going on. Earlier today,
I spoke with a family of Brianna Taylor. This morning,
(25:17):
they were informed the Justice Department has charged four current
and former Louisville Metro Police Department officers with federal crimes
related to Miss Taylor's death. Those alleged crimes include civil
rights offenses, unlawful conspiracies, unconstitutional use of force, and obstruction offenses.
(25:38):
The four defendants were charged through two separate indictments and
one information. I'm going to begin today by discussing the
civil rights offenses that stem from the falsification of a
search warrant. We alleged that these offenses resulted in Miss
Taylor's death. They are charging these four officers with federal
(26:00):
civil rights crimes over Brianna Taylor. Now, Brianna Taylor is
a name that you will hear BLM activists and progressives
in the in the left wing media channels and editorial pages.
They will they will say Brianna Taylor, and they'll bring
(26:20):
up Mike Brown, and they'll bring up George Floyd. And
one of the one of the martyrs of the BLM
movement effectively is Brianna Taylor. And just by way of review,
she was shot during an exchange of gunfire with police
in Louisville, who are who are executing a warrant on
(26:42):
what they believed to be a drug stash house. And
the individual who was there there was a male president
who pulled his gun, shot a cop and was shooting
through a door. So one cop got shot through the door,
and he started shooting wildly through the door. Even after
and this is all a matter of record, it was
(27:04):
a no knock warrant, the police did announce themselves, according
to a neighbor who heard the police. One neighbor said
he heard the police announce themselves. So they're shooting through
the door. They're they're being shot through the door. Officers
fire back through the door. Merrick Garland is bringing a
federal civil rights excessive force charge against the cop who
(27:26):
shot through the A cop who shot through the door. Okay,
I mean this is this is remarkable isn't it. This
is a federal issue now, they're saying. They also go
into details about conspiracy, conspiracy to falsify arrest. Once I
will remind everybody that the lawyer who falsified information to
(27:51):
get a fis a warrant to try to overthrow a presidency.
Effectively under Donald Trump, one hundred percent changed information. Knew
what he was doing. He walked a DC jury said nah,
that's okay. It was anti Trump. So you can see
the politics involved in that. Right now, we're going to
have the Feds come in and say that this was
(28:13):
a case of a civil rights violation because police got
something or got some issues wrong in a search of
a home. That remember when they knocked and said police,
they got open fire on Okay, just keep keep that
in mind. The cops are taking in coming fire when
(28:34):
they knocked, they say police. And also from the wire
taps and and hat tip to my friend at Coulter
is one of the few people that I've seen. She
is a trained lawyer. Folk. She's a very sharp lawyer.
And you know she was a writer now, but she
understands the law. She's gone through the court transcripts, the
previous legal proceedings and what has been introduced as evidence
(28:58):
in the past. And she wrote this the morning after
Brianna was killed. JaMarcus, who's the individual who was shooting
at the police, who was in the home at the time,
JaMarcus said on a police recorded phone line, this is
what you have to This is well, I mean what
I'll read what he wrote. This is a quote. This
(29:21):
is what you got to understand. Don't take it wrong.
But Bree friend to Brianna Taylor, had been handling all
my money. She'd been handling my money for me and
cuz it ain't just me. And then he detailed the amounts, saying,
tell Cauz, Breed got down like fifteen grand, she had
the eight grand I gave her the other day, and
(29:42):
she picked up another six grand, all of this in cash,
by the way, and end quote obviously. And then the
media said that she didn't know this individual JaMarcus, that
this was a totally happenstance, that she was there. It
was the wrong it was the wrong house. What turns
out that the individual who was shooting at police in
(30:06):
that instance was also having his mail, his phone bills,
all of this too, using rather her address that's why
they went to her address, so he was having things
delivered to her address. Now, she obviously was not in
(30:27):
any way shot on purpose by the cops. No one
even claims that she was. She was in the crossfire
of somebody who was shooting at police. He wasn't charged
because he said he thought it was people coming to
rob him. How many of you if you hear a
knock at the door, police, do you just open fire
through the door. I'm just putting that out there, unless
I don't know, maybe you're involved in the drug trade.
(30:50):
Just think about that one for a moment. But civil
rights charges felonies against these officers to ruin their lives.
Why not because of the facts of the case, but
because the Biden administration wants to mobilize the BLM activists,
the anti cop left, and make sure they get as
(31:10):
much of the African American vote as they possibly can.
And that's why the DOJ is bringing this case at
this time. My friends, everyday pain holds you back from
living your full life. I don't suffer from chronic pain,
but I've experienced what it's like because of my workouts
recently over exertion. The pain in my shoulder. Oh it's rough.
(31:31):
And if you've started really getting going to the gym
like never before, or if you're just somebody that feels
that day to day pain from over exertion, you know,
they can be really persistent, the aches and the shooting pain.
I've gotten into my shoulder right now, but it's gone down,
you know why relief Factor. Relief Factor has a three
week recommended pack that you take our three week kit
(31:52):
that you take three packets a day of their drug free,
all natural products to reduce pain and inflammation. So if
you've got the same kind of pain, be it from exercise,
the effects again of everyday living. Joined the half a

(32:34):
Or call eight hundred the number four Relief. Welcome back
to the Clay and Buck Show. I just wanted to
add a few more details into this indictment that Merrick
Garland has brought against four Louisville police officers. Of the
only one of them. One of the four, Brett Hankinson,
was one of the officers who faced state charges for
(32:56):
wanton endangerment because he fired without a clear line of sight.
He pleaded not guilty and he was acquitted. There were
no other state charges filed in the case. This should
be obviously a state matter for the state of Kentucky,
but the Feds have have come in and they have
(33:19):
decided that they're going to bring these charges. Now. There
was Taylor and her boyfriend Kenneth Walker. Kenneth Walker was
in bed during the no knock raid. I mentioned before
someone named JaMarcus JaMarcus Glover. JaMarcus Glover was the individual
involved in the drug trade that they were trying to
(33:39):
They were trying to catch with the drugs essentially, and
he had a he had connections to Brianna Taylor, and
that's why on those phone recordings of JaMarcus Glover he
was mentioning Brianna Taylor handling money for him. But Kenneth
Walker was the individual who got up when police were
banged at the door and who when the first officer
(34:03):
came through the door, police broke the door off its hinges.
Walker fired the gun, striking Sergeant Jonathan Mattingly in the thigh.
The police responded, firing several shots, and they struck Brianna
Taylor in that exchange. And so Hankinson, because he was
firing into a dark hallway where a police officer had
(34:25):
already been shot, that's when they brought the stage charges
against him. So I think those I wanted to clarify
and make sure all the facts of the case are
stated correctly. But the point here is there's no federal
crimes here. Okay, they're just bringing federal charges against these
officers because they were thinking about bringing a federal charge
against the officer involved in the Mike Brown case in Ferguson,
(34:51):
But then the federal investigation showed that every eyewitness said
that Mike Brown charged him, and so that then became
more difficult. But this is this is what happens a Democrat.
A Democrat doj will decide that they're going to bring
charges when the state prosecutors either have brought charges and
were unsuccessful the person was acquitted, which really creates a
(35:14):
form of double jeopardy. I know they say it's different jurisdictions,
but you get charged by the state for shooting your
gun as a cop into the hallway. Now you're being
charged by the Feds after the state acquitted you. Right,
You just want to be very clear, this is politics.
This is a political situation that is playing out and
why the Democrats are doing it now and cops know this,
(35:36):
cops across the country. No, you get into a situation
where the New York Times super woke left wing editorial
page comes after you and CNN starts having tear eyed
anchors going on TV talking about how racist law enforcement
is in the country. If you're a cop and you're
caught up in that, even if you are acquitted of
the actual charges that could be brought at the state
(35:58):
level or not brought at all, the Feds will swoop
in and they will feed you to the lions. And
that is what Merrick Garland is doing because he is
a hack. But on the upside, let's talk about some
good things going on here. You have Ronda Santis, the
governor of Florida, who has suspended a state prosecutor, a
(36:21):
Sorros funded state prosecutor at that because he thought he
could just ignore parts the law he didn't like. That
is certainly progress. My friends will discuss that. Then more
on the Brittany Grinder sentencing yesterday, and a lot of
you are fired up about that. Continue that discussion. Christopher
Ray was on Capitol Hill, the FBI director, talking about
(36:44):
the vulnerabilities we have, including at our southern border. That's
all coming up. Our to stick around, Fleet Travis and
Buck Sexton on the front lines of truth
