Speaker 3 (01:02):
Is this thing on?
Speaker 4 (01:04):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (01:05):
Let's see red flashing light? So yes, hello, Oh, I
mean hello. I guess I should start doing these before
more time goes by. Today is day nine of Mission X.
But since this is supposed to be a daily blog
(01:26):
for future scientific purposes, I should probably start from the beginning.
If anyone's gonna understand how we got into this mess
in the first place. Grandpa, oh, I mean captain, if
you're watching this, we're gonna be fine.
Speaker 6 (01:42):
I promise.
Speaker 5 (01:43):
Uh, I mean we're gonna be fine. Here we go.
Videologue entry for day one back when we thought the
plan was going to be easy.
Speaker 7 (02:05):
Whoa, this building is incredible and they even have free donuts.
Wellhy haven't we been here before?
Speaker 4 (02:18):
Not many people have. I heard that you have to
score an alpha ninety nine just to apply, and then
there's the mental aptitude simulation.
Speaker 7 (02:26):
Right, but that shouldn't be a problem for you, right,
aren't you like a super genius?
Speaker 3 (02:33):
Wait?
Speaker 7 (02:34):
Did you not score high enough?
Speaker 3 (02:38):
Of course I did, But but you also have to
be eighteen.
Speaker 7 (02:41):
Hey isn't that MC high EMC. Good morning, crewmates, crewmates?
Speaker 4 (02:48):
Yeah right, Zeke just told me we're not old enough
and you need an alpha score of at least ninety nine?
Speaker 7 (02:56):
Is that too?
Speaker 3 (02:58):
These donuts are the best ever.
Speaker 7 (03:01):
I'm telling you, definitely from Earth.
Speaker 5 (03:03):
Wait wait, wait, you guys don't know know what?
Speaker 7 (03:09):
Are they not from Earth?
Speaker 4 (03:11):
He's not talking about the donuts, Malachi. We received your
letter asking us to come to Sector seven for a
special project. I figured you just needed our help unloading
some packages or something.
Speaker 5 (03:22):
Brace yourselves, this might be the coolest thing you've ever done.
Speaker 6 (03:26):
You're not gonna believe this, But.
Speaker 8 (03:29):
Good morning boys. I'm glad you came.
Speaker 7 (03:31):
Oh uh, hello, sir, captain, Sir, I'm Malachi and this
is my brother Zeke.
Speaker 8 (03:38):
Zeke. Good to see you again.
Speaker 4 (03:40):
You know the captain I told you I scored above
an owl to ninety nine, didn't I.
Speaker 3 (03:46):
Well, the captain's the one that gives the tests.
Speaker 8 (03:48):
I hate to rush the welcome here, but we must
get to work right away. I trust him. He gave
you the details.
Speaker 5 (03:53):
Actually, Grandpa, uh, I mean captain. I was just about
to tell them. I guess the letter I sent wasn't
very clear. But I promise you guys you're gonna love it. MC.
Speaker 8 (04:05):
Don't make promises you might not be able to keep.
As for you two, looks like the four of us
have even less time than I thought.
Speaker 7 (04:12):
Follow me, MC, Are there any Kringle puffs in there?
I'm starving, Malachi.
Speaker 5 (04:31):
I'm in the middle of vlogging right now.
Speaker 7 (04:33):
Oh cool, I didn't know you were famous. How many
followers do you have? Are you one of those influencers
that rates snacks?
Speaker 5 (04:42):
It's for science, Malachi, not followers. And no, we don't
keep snacks in here. Go check the pantry on level three.
Speaker 7 (04:50):
Oh yeah, forgot about that one.
Speaker 5 (04:52):
Okay, thanks, the things I have to deal with where
was I right? Over the next few hours, the Captains
showed Zeke and Malachi exactly what we were up against.
Since we colonized on Mars a few decades ago, it's
been harder and harder to travel back and forth between
Mars and Earth. See the Captain, My grandpa discovered the
(05:15):
solar diamonds when he was a kid. It didn't take
long for the world to realize that these solar diamonds
were the secret to faster space travel, something to do
with its energy makeup or something like that. Zeke is
better at explaining it than me, but you can imagine
how important solar diamonds had become. So important, space pirates
(05:36):
began to appear and attack traveling ships, all in an
effort to take and hoard the universe's most valuable resource.
Because of this, interplanetary travel between Earth and Mars had
become dangerous, not to mention long. But the Captain had
found a solution. More solar diamonds, enough to speed up
(05:57):
space travel for Earth and Mars dwellers and planets beyond ours.
But the Space Alliance couldn't let just anyone find out.
That's where my crew and I came in.
Speaker 8 (06:12):
We've called it Mission X, and you three have been
chosen for your exceptional piloting and navigation skills. Normally, this
alone would not qualify sending kids on a top secret
mission like Mission X. However, with space powered attacks on
the rise, we need our adult pilots to stay here
and fight. On top of that, the secrecy of Mission
X is that the utmost importance, which means we need
(06:35):
pilots who are able to sneak off planet undetected.
Speaker 4 (06:38):
Captain, where exactly are these new solar diamonds located? I
thought the Space Lions had found all the caverns in
our galaxy.
Speaker 8 (06:46):
We did, which is why you'll have to travel.
Speaker 3 (06:48):
To another one, another galaxy.
Speaker 8 (06:50):
So what do you three say?
Speaker 3 (06:51):
I'm in of course, me too.
Speaker 4 (06:54):
A dis could present an amazing opportunity for new discoveries.
Speaker 3 (06:58):
Yeah, uh, me too.
Speaker 8 (07:01):
Who wonderful. Now for the next part, here is some
of the latest technology created by Space Alliance scientists. Your ship,
of course, will be equipped with everything you need for
the journey, but feel free to pick any gadget you
think might assist you.
Speaker 1 (07:15):
This is so cool.
Speaker 3 (07:18):
Uh Zeke, are you okay?
Speaker 8 (07:20):
Bro?
Speaker 3 (07:21):
I'm in heaven. What kind of goggles are these?
Speaker 8 (07:31):
We call those the sonic goggles. They have access to
all known data in the universe.
Speaker 3 (07:36):
So cool. Just imagine all the things that can tell
us on a mission. What about this wristwatch?
Speaker 7 (07:42):
Oh, don't tell me, it's got a built in laser right.
Speaker 1 (07:46):
Oh?
Speaker 8 (07:46):
That actually our inventors forgot to install anything in it,
so it's just a wristwatch. There is a secret compartment
inside it.
Speaker 3 (07:55):
Though, MC. Aren't you getting anything? Hm?
Speaker 5 (07:59):
Oh, I already something out. See this ring when I
twist it.
Speaker 3 (08:04):
An electro sealed.
Speaker 7 (08:07):
Awesome.
Speaker 5 (08:08):
But wait, there's one more thing.
Speaker 3 (08:11):
I give you.
Speaker 5 (08:15):
The helix Nebula our ship.
Speaker 3 (08:18):
I'm in heaven. When do we leave tonight? Tonight?
Speaker 8 (08:24):
As I said earlier, we need you three to get
off the planet undetected. We had your bags moved to
the ship as soon as you arrived at Sector seven.
Speaker 3 (08:32):
No time like the president.
Speaker 4 (08:33):
Then, come on, Malachi, can we at least grab a
few donuts for the truth?
Speaker 1 (08:42):
MC?
Speaker 8 (08:42):
This is a big responsibility. I'm trusting you to lead
this mission.
Speaker 5 (08:46):
Yes, Grandpa, I mean captain, I promise I won't let
you down.
Speaker 6 (08:52):
MC promises, remember, oh right, I'll do my best.
Speaker 8 (08:57):
I know you will. I'm very proud of you.
Speaker 6 (09:00):
Stay safe, Thanks Grandpa.
Speaker 4 (09:13):
According to my goggles, the Helix Nebula is powered on
not one, but two solar diamonds, making it the fastest
ship currently in existence. I know the captain praised our
piloting skills, but I've never piloted something with this much power.
Speaker 5 (09:28):
Well, I guess it's a good thing Malachi is piloting. Then, right, Malachi,
I am sweet, Zeke. You'll be helping me with navigation.
Speaker 3 (09:37):
Roger that.
Speaker 8 (09:40):
MC Malachi, Zeke, can you hear me? We're going to
be starting the countdown. Suit strap in and get ready
for takeoff. Once the Helix Nebula exits the atmosphere of Mars,
you'll no longer be able to contact the base. I've
given MC instructions to keep a daily video log to
keep track of your mission, and you'll find a dish
(10:00):
orders regarding Mission X within the ship's database.
Speaker 7 (10:03):
Good luck, Here we go, Mission X go time.
Speaker 5 (10:16):
Hold on everyone, take off in three two one, And
that's how our adventure began. But even though we knew
what our mission was, nothing could have prepared us for
what happened next.
Speaker 6 (10:38):
Huh, what's going on?
Speaker 3 (10:42):
MC, We need you on deck. We've just injured an
asteroid belt.
Speaker 6 (10:46):
What I'm coming?
Speaker 5 (10:48):
Sorry, that's all for now. Video log out
