Oh phew, it's working again. Sorry about that. Looks like
the camera battery wasn't all the way charged and cut
out before I could finish the video log for day five.
So this is a video log for day five, take two.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
Technically we were on plan and draw for two days,
even if a good chunk of it was underground.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Oh good point. In that case, we'll call this video
logue day six. Now where was I? Oh? Right, after
making a deal with the mayor, the three of us
went to Carter's caverns, the source of the fuel river. Wait,

(01:43):
what's that sound? What is it? What do you guys?
Hear a cammy in? What's happening? Kind danger? Run?

Speaker 1 (01:58):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (01:59):
No?

Speaker 1 (01:59):
No oh?

Speaker 4 (02:00):
The cavern monster must have gotten them?

Speaker 2 (02:03):
What do I do?

Speaker 4 (02:05):
Come on, Malachi, you can't just leave them to the
cavern monster. Let's see. I can use the rope to
go down. But what happens if the monster got them?
I guess this tree branch will have to do. I'm
telling me to save you. Hello, Zeke, EMC, it's me.

(02:32):

Speaker 3 (02:33):
Save you, dude. Why are you whispering?

Speaker 2 (02:36):
Ze Oh?

Speaker 3 (02:40):
You're okay?

Speaker 4 (02:41):
What are you talking about? EMC said Kai? Danger?

Speaker 3 (02:45):

Is that a giant dog? Was octopus tentacles?

Speaker 3 (03:18):
Yep? According to my Sonic Goggles, this is what's known
as an octopug.

Speaker 4 (03:22):
Is it okay? Why is it breathing so weird? And
are they always.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
This big?

Speaker 3 (03:34):
The weird breathing is normal for pugs, I guess. And
as for the size, this one's just a teenager. They
usually get bigger bigger.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
The reason we were saying you didn't need to worry
is because this octopug is stuck. Whoa hmm.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
Octopugs don't usually live in caverns because of how big
they get. I'm guessing this guy was probably swept into
the caverns when a baby and just kept growing until
he got stuck. Actually, I think I may have found
what's drying up the fuel rivers.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Hooray.

Speaker 4 (04:08):
Looks like we'll be getting those parts from the mayor
after all.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
The first we need to find out how to get
the octopug unstuck.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Can't we just take out the walls?

Speaker 3 (04:17):
We might colapse the whole cavern, though then all the
fuel rivers would be ruined.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
You're right, and we definitely can't pull him out.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
It's a bit unorthodox, but our cousin had a dog
that broke through our fence when he heard our cousin
call for him.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
You want us to just call for the octopug?

Speaker 4 (04:37):
Anyone else think he looks like a Matthew. What he does?

Speaker 3 (04:43):
Kuy's common aside. It can't hurt to try. What have
we got to lose a.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
Few space parts for the helix? Nebula, that's what? All right,
let's try it.

Speaker 4 (04:56):
Come here, Matthew, Come on, Matthew, you're the best boy, matth.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
Come on, buddy, come on your doggy.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
I think it's working. Keep killing everyone.

Speaker 4 (05:10):

Speaker 2 (05:25):
Steel gross look in the rivers.

Speaker 3 (05:31):
We saved the rivers from drying up.

Speaker 5 (05:34):
Great, but who's gonna save us from the rivers?

Speaker 2 (05:41):
A Matthew?

Speaker 4 (05:48):
Why are you wrapping your tentacles around us?

Speaker 5 (05:52):
Matthew's gonna eat us?

Speaker 2 (05:53):
Kay? I think Matthew is trying to save us. He's
keeping us from being swept away by the river.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
MC. Based on my calculations, the water is just going
to get stronger and higher.

Speaker 4 (06:06):
We need to get out of here, right okay.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
MC, How can we the opening? Matthew? Not sure if
you understand me, but can you use your extra tentacles
to climb us out of the caverns land?

Speaker 4 (06:28):

Speaker 2 (06:34):
Thank goodness, Matthew understood us. My next plan was to
throw something towards the opening and hope Matthew knew how
to fetch.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
Let's go give the mayor the good news about the
fuel rivers and get those parts we needed.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
Oh, I guess you fix the fuel rivers.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
After all, Planet Jura shouldn't have any shortage of carter steel.

Speaker 4 (06:55):
Now, we even found out your cavern monster wasn't really
a monster, just Matthew.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
So if you just give us the parts we asked for,
will be on our way about that.

Speaker 4 (07:07):
We don't need no octopug around these parts, so why
don't you. Hey, Now, I've been trying to move those
boxes for the.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
Last few months.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
You know, mister Mayor, Matthew could really help you around
your shop. He also could help you save time with
field deliveries.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
Yeah, he'd be able to pack everything onto the delivery
ships and no time. He wouldn't have to break usway.

Speaker 4 (07:38):
Well, that would save me and my team a lot
of back pain. Man, he's a cute little fellow. Well,
I guess the deal is a deal. The parts are yours?

Speaker 2 (07:52):
Yes, Yes, So we got the parts we needed and
we were able to get back to the mission to
find the solar diamonds. At least that was the plan,
